Buckle up, everybody.
Here we go.
Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
I want to thank Charlie.
He's an incredible guy.
His spirit, his love of this country.
He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
That's why we are here.
Thank you, everybody.
Welcome to California, Charlie.
You know, we're going to talk about California.
I got to tell you that some of the most amazing patriots in America are still fighting in California, and you deserve so much for that.
It really is amazing.
It really is.
And we are in the capital region of California.
I believe the most important state in our nation.
And we are believing that we are going to see a move of God through organizations like yourselves empowering the church to be the church.
Amen.
To actually take the church's proper role of leaning into the community, leading on these issues, and not being cowards and being courageous and being bold.
You see, you know what tyrants fear?
Tyrants fear this.
This is why they had to lock down the church for a couple years when they took all your freedoms away and they tried to mandate a vaccine and they did all these different things.
The American church is the greatest threat to tyranny.
You being here tonight, pastor speaking out boldly.
You see, the American church founded America.
55 of 56 of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were Bible-believing church attending Christians.
This nation was founded by people that prayed and fasted for the welfare of their nation.
The American church, whenever there is a crisis, stands up and preaches and proclaims the word boldly and truthfully.
And I believe that's exactly what we're living through right now.
Hey, this is encouraging to me just to see the demographics of this evening here.
I got my 92-year-old mom right here on the front row right here.
I just introduced you to Hannah.
Where's Hannah?
She's sitting out here.
She is a rock star.
She goes to Whitney High, and she's a shining light right there at Whitney High.
I mean, we got high schoolers here.
We got college people here.
We got the whole spectrum.
And that's what it's going to take.
You know, right now, tonight, Turning Point USA is hosting Riley Gaines on the other side of the nation in Albany.
Some of you might, was that, were any of you at Davis when we did our mostly peaceful event?
Thank you, by the way, for that.
And, you know, this is unusual for us to be able to do events where we're so warmly welcomed.
And it's necessary, though, because one of the accusations people say is, oh, Charlie, when you speak at churches, you're speaking to the choir.
And I say, well, you know what?
The last couple decades, I think the choir forgot the melody.
Yeah.
And the choir was not so courageous.
So you got to do both.
But thank you for supporting Turning Point USA.
I think it's the most important thing happening in America for the next generation.
And we are, without a doubt, as of right now, the most targeted and attacked organization in America, especially youth organization.
And honestly, we wear that as a badge of honor.
The fact that when we go to Davis or we do San Francisco State University and they hold our speaker hostage, the fact with the death threats and the violence and them ripping up Bibles at our events, that means that we are leaning in where it matters the most.
And, you know, many of you, you might say, Charlie, you know, where's the hope?
You want hope?
Turning point USA has hundreds of thousands of 15, 16, 17, 18-year-olds that are starting chapters that are fighting for virtue and righteousness and goodness and liberty and freedom and American exceptionalism when it is not the popular thing to do.
You want hope?
Maybe the hope should come from looking at the teenagers that Turning Point USA is pouring into to say, I don't care what they call me.
I don't care if they slander me.
I don't care what they do to me because you saw it at UC Davis, or maybe you heard about it.
Hundreds of Antifa coming with weapons, trying to come after our students, sharing their public, you know, their private information.
You know what our students said afterwards?
This makes you want to fight harder.
Hope in the Youth 00:06:10
Yeah.
That should give you a lot of hope.
Yeah, absolutely.
So we got a lot to cover tonight.
A lot to cover.
And, I mean, it's almost where do we start?
But I think we need to start with the tsunami that has hit our culture.
This transgenderism that has blown up across our country.
And we're seeing it manifest in so many different ways.
And, you know, Charlie, I want you, I mean, because there's a lot we can go through.
I mean, we can talk about some of the things that have happened to Riley Gaines.
We could talk about Dylan Mohagen.
What's her name?
Or him?
His name.
His name.
That, you know, Budweiser puts on their cans.
It's amazing that a company is willing to lose $6 billion overnight.
But let's take a broad picture of it first.
Transgenderism.
Yes.
What is it?
Where is it going?
So really important.
And I think this is the issue because I think so many of the other topics that we see can just kind of be found within this moment of gender dysphoria and mental delusion.
Because the T and LGBT stands for tyranny, not for trans.
It's about telling you how you have to think.
And I'm going to prove it to you.
For years, there were people that suffered with the mental delusion.
Now, mind you, understand my language, suffering.
These are people that are struggling with inner turmoil and torment.
These are people that have an issue, and I hope they get care.
And care is not chopping off the breasts of a 13-year-old and putting them on Lupron.
Care would be cognitive behavioral therapy.
Care would be telling them the truth, to love them enough to give them the treatment that they as a son or a daughter of the divine of God made in the image of God deserve.
Not saying that we're going to put the most irreversible, quote-unquote, medieval medical procedures towards you.
So this has come on to the forefront.
And these people that are suffering with this, they've been around for quite a while, but why all of a sudden is this an issue?
Well, because for years we have lived with one of the kind of phrases that people would say, oh, just live and let live.
But the problem with live and let live is that both sides must agree to it.
And we have agreed to it.
You can have your own false, fictitious, delusional mental imaginations of your own existence.
Just don't involve me.
You can do it in your home.
You could do it in some coffee shop.
I don't agree with it.
I think it's wrong.
I think it might be demonic.
But if you leave it to yourself, like that doesn't bother me.
Live and let live, man.
But that's not what happened.
Is that all of a sudden, the people that had those issues that are legitimate, gender dysphoria, they decided because they were tormented and because they were suffering to all of a sudden create a movement where to deal with their torment and their suffering is that they must make you change your behavior.
These people are cultural imperialists that they try to invade our customs, our traditions, our sports, our companies, our language, how we raise our children.
So it's not enough that Thomas, the swimmer, thought that he's a woman.
It's not enough that you can think you are a woman and still compete in male sports.
All the freedom to you, man.
You can have whatever imaginations of grandeur you want.
You could think you're a good swimmer, which you really aren't against men.
Right.
Exactly.
You could think.
You're not on the team.
You're allowed to have an imagination not rooted in reality.
Obviously, not going to police people's imaginations.
But what we are not going to tolerate any longer is us having to change everything because you have a problem.
That's right.
And that's where we're at.
Is now that the ordinary and the normal and the proven and the traditional is now categorized as hateful and intolerant because of a minority, a hyper-minority of people that are tormented tell us that we have to change our traditions.
So we must now abolish female sports.
So a national champion wins the NCAA Women's Championship as a biological male.
We say, well, you know, it would be intolerant if we said anything different.
We see track championships.
We see weightlifting championships.
We see wrestling championships.
It doesn't stop there, though.
It doesn't just stop with female sports.
It goes to bathrooms.
It goes to language.
You must call me the pronoun that I demand.
That is tyrannical.
So it's not live and let live.
It's live and let us rule over your life.
That's right.
So here's the thing.
And this is an unpopular thing to say out loud, but it's very popular because most Americans agree with it.
You guys broke the non-aggression pact.
The trans people, the delusion that they're under, they crossed the Rubicon.
They decided to wage cultural war against us.
So now guess what?
We're going to win.
We're not going to put up with it.
We're going to protect female sports.
We're not going to have men in female locker rooms.
We're not going to change our language.
We're not going to all of a sudden allow our children to learn things that's rooted in perversion and grooming.
We were fine with saying, hey, you have a problem.
You can believe what you want to believe.
You want to wear a dress in your living room.
That's strange.
That's weird.
Okay, that's not what any of this is about.
Because I get asked the question sometimes, well, Charlie, how does this impact you?
It impacts all of us.
It impacts our children.
It impacts biological norms and standards.
It impacts the truth.
It impacts the entire society.
Protecting Female Sports 00:15:26
Not to mention, they now have a license to do evil and be called the victim.
I'll prove it to you.
Because I'm sure some apparatchik for the Sacramento B is here.
By the way, they should be very worried because we very well might file a very serious lawsuit against them because they lied about us.
And I bet they're here.
They got to be very worried.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So quote me accurately or else you have two lawsuits, Sacramento B.
The Sacramento B wrote about me.
What's that woman's name?
Hannah.
She said that Charlie Kirk believes that trans people should be lynched.
That is a lie from the pit of hell.
I've never said that.
I don't believe it.
It's the opposite of what I believe.
And they should be very, very nervous because that's defamatory, that's slanderous, and that's libel.
And so I bet they're here tonight.
You wave to them.
Anyway, so quote me accurately for your own sake.
So I want to make sure this is clear, which is that in the moment that we're in today, when it comes to the trans stuff and their kind of imperialist conquest.
That's right.
I was talking about victimizement and victory.
Let me finish the point, which is the Riley Gaines situation.
She speaks at a turning point USA chapter at San Francisco State University.
She gets assaulted.
Members of our turning point staff were assaulted.
And then they were held hostage, pseudo-kidnapped when the violent mob was outside of the room, all trans people, right?
Demanding money, payment, saying we want her to miss her flight.
She did end up missing her flight.
There's worse things that can happen, but they were there for three hours.
The police decided to do nothing until the San Francisco police come in.
But the most horrifying thing is not a bunch of delusional people that are on testosterone replacement therapy that are acting erratic and aggressive, right?
That's what happens when all of a sudden you put 22-year-olds that have mental problems on just pharmacological agents.
They're going to act insane, okay?
Shouldn't be surprised when all of a sudden you're on a routine of TRT and human growth hormone and benzodiazepines and Zoloft and Prozac.
All of a sudden they start punching people.
Like, yeah, maybe you shouldn't be putting these mind-altering substances into a 22-year-old that already has some predisposition towards mental illness.
Probably not a good idea, but no one ever wants to say that out loud, but it's true.
So they're holding her hostage.
That's bad.
The leadership of San Francisco State University came out and said, we want to applaud our students for how wonderful that they acted.
True story.
They said Riley Gaines provoked this for coming on our campus and spewing hate.
They said we were proud of how peaceful they were.
They were not peaceful.
They kidnapped her, held her hostage, and assaulted her and our turning point members.
In fact, they said, if anyone needs counseling services for the damage and the trauma that you had to endure, that's the leadership of San Francisco State University.
They can do no wrong.
And this is important, everybody.
The left, if they are left unchecked to run our society, they convince people that they are victims, which they're not, and then they get a moral license to become the victimizer.
They are then allowed to do whatever they want to do against you.
They're allowed to hold you hostage, assault you, call you names, intimidate you, get you fired from a job because they say, I deserve it because of how terrible I've been treated because you haven't accommodated it, accommodated my mental struggle.
I want to extrapolate this.
Imagine if we accommodated society for everybody's mental issue.
No, this is important.
This is basically what the trans, the trans argument says we must change everything.
So people that are afraid to drive, we should ban all cars.
People that are afraid of men, we should just get rid of all men.
Oprah's trying.
Or how about this?
That somebody says, you know, I have a fear of flying, let's just ban all airplanes.
You see, mental illness is on the increase in America for a lot of different reasons.
That's also why the trans thing is on the increase.
Lockdowns and the TikTok social contagion are certainly not helping.
They're preying on young girls that do not have strong fathers around for multiple reasons that are going through puberty.
They feel uncomfortable.
A lot of things are happening to their body.
They grow separation with their mom and they open up TikTok and all of a sudden, oh, you're feeling all this?
You're starting to get breasts.
You're starting to feel all these hormones.
You're actually a man.
Oh, my goodness.
I never would have thought that.
Without parental consent, they go to a doctor and all of a sudden these medieval torturers that call themselves medical professionals put them under a knife and prescribe them unbelievably damaging prescription.
Now, we can get into the why of this, but the point that I think is important is that we must talk about this as a social contagion.
This is where we're missing it, okay?
Most conservatives and Christians are afraid to say the obvious part out loud, which is that it's not normal to see a 10,000% increase in a decade of kids that think they are the other gender.
It is coming from somewhere.
It is spreading like a virus.
And it is not loving.
It is not Christ-like to affirm it because we said we need gender affirming care.
No, we need gender reality care.
Yes.
We need a counselor to look a 14-year-old girl in the eye and say, boy, I know you're going through a lot.
Let's talk about that.
What are you feeling?
Let's journal about it.
But what, you know, these feelings are temporary.
Going and getting gender, you know, your breasts removed or hysterectomy, that's permanent.
So let's probably not do permanent, irreversible damage of something that you might be temporarily feeling.
So let's work through this.
That's how therapy should work.
We're doing the opposite.
And they call them doctors.
This state, California, is becoming the safe state, the sanctuary state for all of this.
So Greg, I could go on deeper and deeper and deeper about this, but this is the social contagion of our time.
And it intersects so many other issues.
Evil doesn't know any boundaries.
That's right.
It's progressive in nature.
So it doesn't end here.
It continues to accelerate.
Even locally, right here, we have a quote-unquote pastor who supports drag events at our high school campuses.
And thank God there are people in our community said, you're not going to do that on our high school campuses.
But the progressiveness of this movement, it's not satisfied.
And so they start clubs on high school campuses and then prey on these students who are confused maybe in the moment or whatever.
And it's for the purpose of indoctrination.
And so as, you know, we can applaud, we can do whatever we want here.
But we saw what we could do as a community when somebody violated what I believe is pure evil.
It's satanic.
It's from the pit of hell.
And we say as a community, not just one church, but as a community, that's not going to happen here.
And so the question is then, what do we do about it?
Let me just add one more thing and then we're going to talk about it because we have to have a total attitude change on this or else this thing is going to just capture Western civilization like all these other social contagions.
And we were going to wish that we were more bold when that guy came on a weeknight and told us about it.
I'm telling you, this thing is accelerating.
It is not slowing down.
It is financed by corporate America, to your earlier point.
It is supported by oligarchs, by billionaires.
Okay, but let me just close one point, which is an obvious, an obvious wrinkle that even the medical professionals that support this, it's the best way to counter it.
They'll say, well, it's the loving thing to do because the kids want it and it's going to help them.
Millions of young girls in the last couple of decades have suffered from anorexia, okay, believing that they are overweight when in reality they are not overweight.
Emphasis on reality because you have to always come back to reality.
If an anorexic teenager goes to a doctor and says, I want liposuction, which is forcible fat removal, if the doctor administered liposuction, he would lose his license and possibly kill the patient.
Instead, the doctor should say, you're suffering under a delusion.
It's unloving for me to actually go suck the fat that doesn't exist.
You're believing something that is not true.
And that's exactly the same way that we should handle on the trans thing medically and professionally.
Okay, secondly, what do we do about it?
Look, I think we have to have a total attitude change.
We should not tolerate evil, period.
There is this fake pagan religion of Christians.
They said, well, Charlie, that's not very tolerant of you.
Where does it say I have to be tolerant of the demonic?
Yes.
Come on.
Where?
We must rebuke the demonic.
Not be tolerant of it.
Psalm 97, 10, if you love God, you must hate evil.
It's an act of worship to hate evil.
And some Christians say, well, Charlie, it's not very clear that it is, this is evil.
What?
Sounds very clear.
No, we hear this.
I get this all the time.
Or Charlie, it's not very clear.
And this is as flagrant.
If you cannot see this as good from evil, then your moral compass is so messed up, so blurred.
And so what is the attitude change that we have to have?
Yes, you should not support companies that do the trans thing.
Do so proudly.
We're done with it.
In this upcoming month of June, I mean, it's just nauseating.
For a group that is allegedly oppressed, they get a lot of airtime and a lot of corporate support.
Pride month, you know, LGBT and the trans thing in the window.
I thought you guys are oppressed.
You have flags everywhere.
You are the most successful conquering oppressed force in the history of the culture.
We're oppressed.
Meanwhile, we control every corporation.
Every single company has our flag.
Everyone wears our little pin.
If you say something wrong, you lose your job.
And they still get to convince us that they're oppressed.
It's the most sinister marketing lie.
You can't make this up.
You control everything.
You control Hollywood.
You control the National Basketball Association.
You control the National Football League.
You control social media.
You control the banking system.
You control Congress.
You control the intelligence agencies.
And yet they still in the same breath say that everything's rigged against us.
There's just so much hate.
You know where there is hate?
There was a Christian hate crime of six people that were killed by a trans person in Nashville.
And then Biden comes out and says, trans people are under attack.
No, Christians are under attack in our country, Mr. Biden.
Christians are under attack.
And so what do we do about it?
We got to have an attitude change.
Call it out.
Anytime this trans garbage comes across your life, don't put up with it.
If there's a young person that happens to be trans, keep them away from anyone that might try to chemically alter them and get them to an actual medical health, mental health professional that does cognitive behavioral therapy and does not engage in this gender affirming nonsense.
Those people are out there.
You can find them.
You can find those medical professionals.
They've been doing it for years.
This used to be the standard operating procedure of the American Psychiatric Association.
It was called Gender Dysoria Standard of Treatment of Care.
You can read the 85-page document.
It worked with a high efficacy rate.
You take a 16-year-old, they think they're another gender.
You go through steps.
You go through a process, you ask them questions, it's clinically proven, but something changed.
No one was getting more powerful when all of a sudden gender dysphoria was getting healed.
So they decided to say, Let's weaponize gender dysphoria and turn it into a tyrannical weapon against the decent and the ordinary because these people never stop.
All they know is how to take more terrain and take more ground and to accelerate.
Because it wasn't enough that they were able to upend traditional marriage in the States.
They needed the next thing.
And the next thing was gender confusion and gender dysphoria.
And the next thing after this will be that you can identify with any age of what you want to be.
And that if you want to be a pedophile, if you think I'm exaggerating, that is coming very quickly, everybody.
In fact, it's already here in certain elements here in California.
It's happening very quick.
If you think you could be whatever gender, who's to say you can't think you can be any age?
I identify as a 14-year-old or I identify as a 30-year-old.
You could be whatever you want.
And so what do we do about it is that the church needs to speak clearly about it.
We shouldn't put up with this nonsense.
We have to police our language.
Stop calling men that are women women and stop calling women that are men men.
Be precise in it.
Just don't put up with it.
Like, I'm not going to call you that.
I'm sorry.
You don't stop being a man just because you wear camouflage and I'll prove it to you.
You don't stop being a white person if you wear black face.
They're wearing woman face.
They're appropriating womanhood.
You're the same chromosomal makeup.
And finally, from a spiritual aspect, this is where I think the church has to lean in and we have to rebuke this evil, which is this is a war on God's design.
This is an intentional, all-out campaign and crusade.
God made man and woman in his image.
And so, so, Greg, look, this is this is a time of testing.
It really is.
And then finally, the one that is the easiest.
I mean, I think it actually goes deeper than this, to be perfectly honest, but it's the one that we can all agree on: is you know, don't teach it to kids, don't put it, you know, in kids' classrooms.
I think transgenderism, the ideology in general, actually is bigger than just teaching it to kids.
I think it's a social contagion that spans all ages.
But the kid thing is so obvious.
It's such a consensus builder.
I believe that 80 to 90% of Americans agree with us.
I also believe 80 to 90 percent of Americans are terrified of the alphabet mafia coming after them and destroying their life.
Tell them to go to heaven, and we're not going to use their pronouns.
I love it.
I think it's your new diet.
I mean, you got more energy than you have ever had.
Thank you, Greg.
Yeah.
There's a lot of evil to hate.
I'm telling you.
So, let's talk about the church and its role.
And I think COVID was the great revealer.
It showed what the church, the soft underbelly of the church.
And so this is just accelerating that reveal of how weak the American church is, how compromised the American church is, and how we have embraced the doctrine of tolerance.
That we think it's a God thing when we tolerate a behavior.
So, you know, and we went through this thing with this pastor, this fake pastor.
The Weak American Church 00:13:06
I don't know if there was more than five ministers in this area that spoke up.
So, what do we do?
You know, my wife and I were talking about this.
It's like you see all these social movements that create all kinds of energy and they show up in masses and they make noise, but the church sits on its hands.
That's right.
Yeah, because the church business model is trying to accommodate the world and not offend anybody.
The gospel is offensive, okay?
It's offensive to sin.
It's offensive to the demonic.
It's offensive to the wayward ways.
We are all sinners.
And if you read the gospel, it should be offensive to your way of life, to all of us.
It should be personally offensive to our sinful nature.
Praise God.
Jesus died on that cross so that we can live in heaven.
Because let me say something that needs to be said.
If you are not offended by the gospel, then you believe yourself to be God.
The gospel is supposed to offend your way of life to get you back into alignment with God's command.
So people say, well, I don't want to offend anybody.
I find that to be so just nauseating.
You haven't even thought about what that means.
Secondly, how great is this church and how great is it, Greg?
He's doing such a good job.
I really mean that.
You're one of the best, Greg.
You're bold.
You said something that really moved me today with the pastors.
You said, how would you preach if you didn't need this job?
And that's how you preach every single Sunday.
And you have a special one here.
I travel the country.
I can name some great ones.
Jack Hibbs is amazing.
Pastor Urigan and Luke Barnett.
You're up there.
You're right at the top of the list in the country as one of the boldest and one of the most courageous pastors for such a time as this.
You deserve a lot of credit for that.
You really do.
Thank you, Charlie.
But we got to make our voices louder.
Yes.
And so we have a saying we use during COVID a lot.
Let me hear you roar.
And we made a lot of noise in this room, but we got to make a lot of noise out there.
Yes, we do.
And that's so salt and light are two things that change the environment that they come in contact with.
And Jesus used those metaphors for a reason, so that we have to go into environments that do not look the way that we want them to look and change them to brighten them up, to make them saltier, to make them more in the image of what God desires for his people here on earth.
And so, look, I am encouraged by how many pastors are out there that are taking a stand, but they're not a vast majority.
Now, I'm going to challenge some of you here tonight that if this is not your home church, maybe it should be, maybe it shouldn't.
I think it should be, right?
But maybe you have a good church and you have a great connection to them.
Then you have an obligation, you have a duty to hopefully be filled up.
And if you are being led by a coward, you need to lovingly confront that coward.
You might say, well, Charlie, how do I know if I have a coward running my church?
Very simple.
Did they take time to celebrate the reversal of Roe versus Wade last summer?
If they did not do that, you're being led by a coward who should resign from the ministry.
Now, because I actually, I got asked a question the other day.
They said, Charlie, you know, when is God going to make a move in this country?
When is he going to intervene?
I said, oh, he has, and he did.
We just don't notice it or celebrate it.
Right.
40 years, I was, for 40 years, America was told Roe versus Wade was law, untouchable.
My entire life, I was told Roe versus Wade would never be repealed.
Don't even think about it.
Don't even waste your prayers on it.
Don't even whisper it.
Don't even get near it.
But because of a surprise election of a billionaire man coming down an escalator, winning an election you wasn't supposed to win.
And Amy Coney Barrett, Neil Gorsuch, and Brett Kavanaugh doing the right thing.
We reversed it, but you could just imagine God from the heavens.
Yeah.
Okay.
Babies are going to lives are going to be saved.
And 95% of my churches don't even say thank you.
Wow.
And we want God to do more in our country?
Yeah.
95% of pastors said, yeah, God, no thanks.
I'm not interested.
Stop supporting those churches.
Leave them.
Confront them and say, either you're going to start to be a man of God or I'm leaving and I'm going to make sure that other people leave as well.
This is not the time for the vanilla middle.
This is not a time for the people that say, I only preach the gospel.
Yeah, you know, Jesus loved children too.
So why don't you talk about children being perverted by drag queen story hour?
Yeah.
I only preach the gospel.
You think Jesus would put up with that?
You think Jesus would put up with drag queens, men in thongs, and local hot.
You guys laugh.
That's what it is.
It's all across the country.
It's not isolated.
And so, look, American pastors, there's a lot of problems with American pastors.
Largely cowards.
Some are complicit, like that one down the road, Lummis, Space Sin or whatever the name is, right?
Yep.
Total coward.
She resigned from the ministry, not a pastor, heretic.
And very bad person, and because he's embracing all the trans stuff in the pit of hell.
And but there's a lot of people that are cowards.
They say, I don't get involved in this stuff.
I don't do that.
They're exactly the same attitude that Eric Metaxas lays out in his amazing book, Letter to the American Church, of when the Nazis were taken over and German churches said, ah, I don't get involved in politics.
Hitler's Hitler, but we're just going to do the gospel.
You know, the Holocaust, not my problem.
And I say this and the media goes nuts when I say this.
I never, in eighth grade, I remember the teacher that taught the Holocaust and she did a brilliant job.
Mrs. Thomas, and she moved me and it was informative and it was emotional, but it bothered me because I said, because I actually thought people were naturally courageous, you know, useful naivete.
And I said, how could people let this happen?
This is so obviously cruel.
Where were the bystanders?
Where were the good people?
And she didn't have a good answer.
Most people don't.
I totally understand how it happened now.
I totally see it.
I mean, it is, it doesn't, the human norm is to sit idly by while evil marches.
It's the Christian who stands against evil and says no more.
And right now it's the Christian that some Christians that are saying, please give me more, or some of the Christians that say, I want nothing to do with it.
And so, but all of you play an active role in that.
This room and the overflow rooms, I guarantee you, some of you are connected to a cowardly pastor in this community.
Confront them lovingly and ask them a series of questions.
Ask them, why didn't you celebrate the reversal of Roe versus Wade?
Why don't you teach us anything meaningful of how what we're doing connects with the news?
Why don't you tell our local community what's going on with the social contagion of trans?
Why don't you talk, just ask five or six questions?
And if you get a bunch of gobbledygoop or a bunch of just beta male responses, say, see you later, I'm going to destiny.
Like, I'm not going to keep on doing this.
Or go to one of these amazing churches.
We have all these pastors.
And by the way, we have some great pastors.
I'm not here just to promote destiny.
And Greg, you know, I sure appreciates it.
But the point is, like, find a courageous church, lean into it.
And this is not the time.
And if you can win them towards boldness and courage, then great.
But you guys have a lot of sway over these pastors.
I'm telling you.
When they start to see their flock walk away, when they start to see their tithe, that's all they care about, ties and offerings, right?
That's true.
Nickels and noses.
What?
Nickels and noses.
Yeah, I mean, buildings and budgets, right?
And maybe baptisms, but mostly buildings and budgets.
That's what the American church is focused on.
And as soon as those tithing, ties and offerings start to evaporate, their business model gets put in jeopardy, right?
And they might not be able to sell their book, you know, back to their congregation or whatever these people do.
It just infuriates me, right?
Then you got to leave.
You got to do something about it.
But here's the good news, though, Greg.
And I have to say this, that California has some of the healthiest, most engaged, most involved, most, the most just incredible churches of the entire country.
I've now had a chance to speak at well over 100 churches across the country.
And there is no place like the remnant here in California.
And you are all actively involved in that.
And in fact, I want to set me up.
Yeah, I want to set you up for this.
So I've even preached right here that we're in the midst of Sodom and Gomorrah.
I've said it.
We are on the gates of hell.
We're right there.
I'm going to challenge that.
I know you are, and you already did.
And I loved what you said because I think it's prophetic in nature.
And these people, see, we're in the valley of dry bones, Ezekiel 37, right here.
And there's a resurrection coming.
And you see it a different way because I said, man, we are so dark, so evil.
People are leaving the state.
And you said, no.
Well, I agree with all of that, but I disagree with what city you guys are.
So I think New York City is Sodom.
I do.
Let me tell you a true story.
We do these events all across the country free of charge, right?
We've been blessed to have a really amazing following at Turning Point USA.
240,000 people give us money every single year.
It's praise God, right?
And we're so blessed by that.
And by the way, so many of you guys do that, and we're blessed by that.
It really is amazing.
And so we announced we were doing an event in New York City and we ran radio ads and all of that and we had like 22 people RSVP'd in a city of 7 million, right?
And, you know, we kind of like a rumor goes out that I'm going to Orange County.
We have like a thousand RSVPs.
It's like unbelievable.
And not just that, but you see what they did to Trump.
And we could talk about that if you want, which was just such an insult to the American Constitution.
It's such an insult to our customs and our traditions.
By the way, they're coming after you.
He just happens to be in the way.
Make no mistake, okay?
He just happens to be in the way.
And you see what they've done with James O'Keefe raiding his apartment and Steve Bannon under indictment and Dinesh D'Souza.
I think New York is Sodom.
I think California is Nineveh.
That's good news, people.
Now, that is good news.
For those of you that say, so let me just remind you, right?
They ought to read the Bible.
It's an interesting book.
To teach you something, found in the book of Jonah, okay?
And there's more than Jonah and the whale, right?
That's just one part of it.
God calls Jonah to Nineveh, decides to rebel, goes the opposite direction.
God says, no, no, no, not so fast.
Spends three days in the whale, actually really prophesying prophetically the resurrection, right?
Is really what it was.
But then he eventually gets to Nineveh.
And the amazing turn of events, he gets to Nineveh and he's like, hey, all of you guys need to repent.
And they're like, okay.
Yeah.
And they do.
And they get largely restored to righteousness.
Nineveh has hope.
That's what I'm getting at.
Yes.
Is that Nineveh was broken.
Nineveh was depraved.
Nineveh was rebellious against God.
But Nineveh was not Sodom.
And I think God had a heart for Nineveh to send a Jonah to call for repentance, which is the precursor to revival.
God is not done with California, everybody.
I'm telling you, there is so much fight in this state.
And I'm going to prove it to you, Greg.
I'm going to prove it to you politically, okay?
Nancy Pelosi would not be speaker of the house if it was not for the seats that California flipped and delivered.
If California would have just sat on their hands and would have not done their job, Nancy Pelosi would still be speaker of the house.
There is fight left in this state.
There is hope in this state.
Yes, it's a long-term project.
Yes, it seems overwhelming.
Yes, it seems as if we can't do it.
But you know what?
You have to put your hope in God.
But when I come here and I see thousands and thousands of people show up to our events, and I see some of the most amazing people that are in California preaching the word and people giving their life to the Lord.
And I see people that are not leaving and they're still starting businesses and pouring in, despite all the trends that Nineveh, not Sodom, two totally different cities in the Old Testament that God had plans for.
You want to be Nineveh, by the way.
It doesn't end well for Sodom.
As I started off the evening, you know, Jesus said, all things are possible to those who believe.
See, I believe, you know, we are in a, we were in a drought and everybody was saying, it's going to take 10 years to break the drought.
And God said, wait, let me do this.
And we have the greatest snowpack in the history of California.
And the reversal came just like that.
Don't estimate.
Don't underestimate the power of God and what a revival could do in this state.
It would change it so quickly.
You'd be surprised.
And the key to this, and just to the pastors out there and all of you, is that you must be called daily to a place of repentance, right?
Repentance is the posture for revival, right?
We are all sinners.
We all shall fall short of his glory.
Rooted in repentance is humility, recognition of the divine, recognition of his perfect order, right?
Repentance is what the founding fathers were called to do by Jonathan Edwards, sinners in the hands of an angry God that led them to creating the greatest nation ever to exist in the history of the world.
That's why I love the Nineveh example: repentance can lead to righteous action.
Amen.
Repentance Leads to Action 00:03:03
So, let's because our time, we're going to go some yeah, we're going to do some QA uh with the audience here, but uh, you know, we want to know what you think about the indictment of President Trump.
What is 2024 going to look like in the Republican side of things?
And uh, what do you see happening?
So, I'm curious.
You know, our organization is a 501c3 educational organization.
We also have a 501c4 turning point action, and so I just want to make that very clear for the 87,000 IRS agents that are watching our broadcast tonight that would love to shut down our operations.
It's very clear you got that, okay?
So, everything we do here is educational, talking about things that are eternally wise.
We also have a 501c4 turning point action.
We follow the laws very carefully and closely, unlike the left.
So, but I'm curious, I'm just curious.
And I mean this: just be as honest as you feel comfortable because I, you know, you guys are kind of if the if the primary held today, how many of you would vote for Donald Trump?
Raise your hand.
Wow, wow, and how many of you, maybe Ron DeSantis, raise your hand?
Okay, okay, did I say that 90-10?
Fair, 90-10, maybe 85, 85.
Okay, a third vote, Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, Charlie Kerr.
No, okay, Charlie Kerr is very kind.
Not old enough, not old enough.
That Constitution, not old enough.
All right, um, that proves my point.
Donald Trump has only grown in popularity and he's grown in support since this indictment.
Um, this indictment should infuriate you, regardless of your own personal opinions of Donald Trump.
Okay, I don't care if you don't like him, I don't care if you don't like his tone, I don't care if you think he's a bad guy, I don't care.
I don't know, it means absolutely nothing to me.
The question is: is it acceptable that a local DA can use the legal system to indict and interfere with the presidential election over an absolute fictitious fabricated crime?
Of course not.
And so, there's multiple takes on this.
I think Donald Trump will end up being the nominee.
Um, I believe that he absolutely can win the White House.
When people say he can't win, I laugh.
He said, Well, he won before and he won again, so he'll have to win again.
And so, yeah, why can't he win exactly?
So, I always laugh when people say that, but I could go through all of it.
I talk about it frequently on my show.
I believe we could learn something from you guys here in California, we being the national conservative movement, of how you guys have successfully ballot harvested, voted early, and actually played the Democrats' game against them.
I think you guys have done a brilliant job there, and I think it actually has really proven to be fruitful in a lot of ways.
But look, the 24 race is going to come down to machinery, it's not going to come down to the candidate, it's going to come down to do we have free and fair elections?
Feelings Determine Actions 00:07:01
I live in Arizona, my goodness, are we fighting tooth and nail for it?
Pray for us, honestly.
Every day we are fighting in the legislature.
Every day we're fighting in the courts.
Every day we're trying to help Kerry Lake and all of them try to fix our broken elections because there is no Republican president without Arizona, right?
I live in the state that is going to be the most critical, the most important.
So please, I mean it sincerely, pray for us and pray for an intervention of God in Arizona because we absolutely and totally need it.
But the race is going to be largely decided on machinery.
But I also want to take a step back from the politics of it and talk about things that I think are more immediate and more important.
Even than that, I'm very worried that this intentional group of gangsters that call themselves the American government are trying to destroy the American currency and put us towards a centralized bank digital currency.
This is the biggest issue that I wish the opposition party that calls themselves Republicans would talk about instead of sending money to Ukraine.
Instead of sending money to Ukraine, can you guys talk about how we're losing the world reserve currency status?
And I might offend some people here.
That is not my heart.
I mean that.
There might be mixed opinions on the Ukrainian issue.
It is a fact since we have stumbled into that quagmire.
Countries are now no longer using the dollar as the world reserve currency.
And that is a very bad thing.
Okay.
It is a dreadful thing.
It is awful.
It will impoverish our nation overnight.
Okay.
That's a lot more important than talking about systemic racism.
Okay.
So I'm incredibly, I'm concerned about that because there's so much ineptitude from our leaders.
And there's very little we can do about it.
Very little, except try to be self-reliant and invest in things that really matter.
If a currency collapse actually comes and we might see an even further run on the banks because the Federal Reserve needs to be abolished completely in its current form.
What they have done to our currency is an absolute nightmare.
So 24 is coming.
I don't want us to be overly focused on the macro political.
My bigger call to action is actually on the micro, is actually on what are you doing daily to become a better and stronger activist and patriot, a better child of God, a better father, a better friend.
You know, what are you doing to take terrain?
And then yes, when elections pop up, do your thing, because I think we're too focused on the macro.
And I think the macro, the bad macro news can create a lot of fatigue and depression and cynicism and disengagement, where if you're doing small daily tasks, as it says in the book of Nehemiah, Zarebabel says these are the days of long and hard work, of righteous work, when they were trying to rebuild the temple and they were discouraged, then the macro shouldn't impact you as much, right?
So what does that mean?
It means if you're young and if you're a college student, if you're a high school student here, you know, save yourself for marriage and get married and have a beautiful family.
That's something we should talk more about.
That's important regardless if the White House is won or not.
If you're an entrepreneur out there and you run a business, I hope you're able to scale your business to huge limits and become a George Soros and give all that money away so that you can fight these bad guys because we need really rich Christians to go pour hundreds of millions of dollars into these communities, right?
What I'm trying to say is that the macro is important, but it's not everything.
There's so much we can do from homeschooling our kids to building institutions, from just being a beacon of light and truth in local communities to starting more small groups, to praying for our friends, for fasting for our nation, for honoring the Sabbath, for honoring our parents.
I have seen a disturbing trend that I'm trying to push back against.
Anyone watch us on Real America's Voice, by the way?
Anybody?
Thank you guys.
I love the Real America's Voice audience.
They're hyper-engaged and they're the most opinionated of all of our audiences.
And I got a disturbing couple emails, Greg, where a group of people, 70 plus, were emailing me saying, Charlie, I don't think people should have children because things are so dark and they're so terrible.
I wouldn't want children to come into this world.
That is an evil thing to believe.
Let me just be very clear, okay?
Yes, it's dark, but as Martin Luther would say, even if the world was ending today, I would plant an apple tree.
I would do something that will bear fruit for future generations regardless of how bad things look right now.
And so it has to be a daily task.
And that's where community comes in.
I implore you to find community, a local turning point group, a local church, maybe here at Destiny.
Find people who share your values that are laboring towards the same cause.
That is going to give you invigoration.
It's going to give you encouragement.
And you're going to have to give yourself an honest promise, which is I'm in this for the rest of my life.
I'm not going to stop being engaged and involved.
If I get a macro win or a macro loss, I'm going to keep building.
I'm going to keep serving.
That my activism is actually a form of worship to the Lord regardless of how the outcome is.
We do not do the right thing based on us trying to get the right outcome.
We do it out of obedience to God.
And so 2024 election matters, but more important than that is an attitude that must not change of, I'm so thankful, Lord, that you have given me breath in such a time as this.
And I'm going to engage in my duty.
One of my favorite words that we don't teach young people anymore is duty.
You know why I love the word duty?
Duty comes down to I'm going to act correctly regardless of how I feel.
We teach our children the opposite.
We say that your feelings should determine your actions.
Your responsibilities and your duties should determine your actions, not your feelings.
We're in just a couple of minutes.
We're going to jump into some question and answers from our crowd here tonight.
But I think it'd be good because we have a phenomenal community.
We have a phenomenal community.
There are people here tonight that have taken a stand.
They've run for office, local office, county offices, and then also on the statewide.
And they're making a difference.
If you are a conservative leader in our community in the political arena, would you stand up?
I want to show appreciation.
Where are you people?
Come on, stand up.
You got to be more than two, three.
There we go.
We thank you for what you do.
We thank you for what you do.
If you can answer this in three minutes, because I want you to stay on schedule, but you're really hard to rein in, Charlie.
Your niece.
Now, I am a radio guy, so I can do three minutes.
Focus on What Matters 00:06:19
Yeah, you're somewhat like my wife on a Sunday morning.
I mean, I want to preach, and then she's talking and things.
I'll take real quick.
There are a lot of people that have been in this fight and started with COVID, the election, and now they're engaged, but there's fatigue.
There's a soul fatigue.
They're tired of the battle.
And it seems like defeat after defeat after defeat.
And you mentioned, again, the difference between being discouraged and despair.
Encourage these people and tell them why they shouldn't despair.
Despair is a sin.
It's very clear in the Bible.
Despair is rebellion against the Lord.
You as a Christian should be filled with hope first and foremost.
You get to go to heaven.
So what are you despairing about?
Despair is you actively questioning the promise of Jesus.
So pray on that if you're despairing.
You can be discouraged.
Of course you can.
You got to live in reality.
Okay, yeah, this doesn't look good and this is bad and that's that.
So if you're if you're fatigued, I encourage you to adopt the blessing that God has right in front of you that is biblical, that works, that I have worked in my own life.
People say, Charlie, how do you keep up this schedule?
And you're right.
I mean, I do all the biohacking stuff.
You know, we have an unbelievable schedule, right?
Three hours of radio a day.
We do three podcasts a day, traveling the country, 300 speeches, running a 350-person organization.
But I have a biblical secret.
Well, it's not a secret.
It's just something that we as a country used to do, and we no longer do.
I turn off my phone and I stop Friday night to Sunday morning, full stop.
That's literally what Shabbat means, to stop.
So you want to get Charlie Kirk style energy?
You want to stay encouraged?
Stop.
Do what God told the Hebrews to do.
Now, I'm not telling you you're bound by the law.
I'm not saying that, but I am saying that it's probably a blessing that you're not picking up.
And I could say this from my own personal life experience, that all of a sudden, those other six days, you have more energy, you have more vitality.
And so imagine for those of you that are fatigued, for those that feel worn down, oh, Charlie, I'm too busy for that.
I will say this as kindly as I can.
If you're busier than me, I want to meet you.
Okay?
And I don't say that braggadociously, but that's impressive.
Like maybe Tony Robbins is busier than me, right?
And he's pretty busy, right?
But it's right up there.
So, but what I'm saying is that slow down for one day and turn all your phones and devices off.
Focus on your family.
Focus on the word.
Sleep in, right?
Focus on the things that actually matter.
Pray.
Fast.
That's the second thing.
If you are not actively fasting at least once a week and you're despairing or discouraged, then I don't know what to tell you.
Jesus says the hard things come to those who pray and fast.
I try to fast once a week.
Fasting is amazing.
A 24-hour fast can, first of all, metabolically, it's really, really good for you.
But spiritually, it's incredible.
Why is it incredible?
Because the enemy preys on your carnal desires.
Actively rejecting your carnal instincts and desires is a way of putting the divine above the temporal.
It can renew you.
It can realign your.
I'm a big fan of fasting.
I know you guys are a big fasting church.
You do it a lot.
But I encourage those of you that are discouraged or you're fatigued, take a Sabbath and then fast.
And then finally, which, you know, is read the word and read it seriously.
I'm not sure, but I would venture a guess that most Christians do not read the Bible 15 to 20 minutes a day.
Do you think they do, Greg?
I don't know.
Most Christians, I don't think so.
And I'm not saying this from a judgmental, like, oh, you're a bad person.
I'm actually saying it as the opposite.
I'm saying that you're missing out.
I'm saying that if you want to stop being miserable, then start doing this.
Like, if you want to just kind of always be discouraged and full of despair, then okay, then don't do it.
Like, just stay there.
But if you want to get better, then pick up the word.
It answers every question you have.
Every question.
And I'm going to say something that might get people.
Have I done this shtick at your church?
I think I've done this shtick.
I'm at 801.
I'm already over time.
Let me start and I'll interrupt you.
Have I done the fake Bible thing?
No, you haven't.
I want to hear it.
Are you sure?
No, I want to hear it.
It's going to be a riot.
They're going to stop reading the Bible on your phone.
Okay.
Get a physical Bible and I'm going to make the case for you.
Okay.
Now, there's exceptions to all rules.
If you're traveling and you got to read the word, okay.
Let me prove it to you.
A device that you use for other things can easily distract you when you're trying to learn, when you're trying to dive into the word and trying to come in contact with the eternal and with the divine.
Secondly, I know that my Bible has a feel, a texture, a weight to it that nothing else has.
And I want that dedicated to that, the sword, the gift, the door that the word represents.
And then finally, I want to be able to be held accountable by my wife and by my family that if I'm actually, are you really reading the Bible or are you texting people?
Are you really doing that?
There's no escaping it.
And so, but read the words.
Those are the three things I say.
If you are down, you're like, oh my goodness, I'm despair.
I have no energy and this seems overwhelming.
Honor the Sabbath.
Fast once a week and spend 15 to 20 minutes in the word.
I think it'll bless you immensely.
Amen.
Amen.
Your word brings life and health to me.
So, all right.
So we're going to do some Q ⁇ A. Let me be.
You guys can start lining up if you want.
Yeah, if you have a question.
But we do not want your life story.
And if you go too long, we'll let you know.
We want a question that Charlie can answer for you.
So please, there are going to be a lot of people who want to do this.
Let's honor each other.
So if you make your question concise and to the point.
Thank you.
All right.
Mr. Kirk, first of all, we want to apologize for your treatment in San Francisco.
And we may be 150 miles away, but we apologize for that.
Mobilize Your Church 00:05:39
And we don't believe how they believe.
My question to you is, Alvin Bragg has been subpoenaed to go to the House of Representatives.
Do you think that he's going to show up?
Probably not.
And if he doesn't, I had a Republican on my show and he didn't seem too convinced of this.
They should hold him in contempt of Congress and send a criminal referral to the Department of Justice, just like they did to Steve Bannon.
They might not do anything with it, but the rules should equally apply.
Alvin Bragg is a bad dude, pure and simple.
He's funded by George Soros, just like Chesa Boudin was and Kim Fox is.
We can do a whole thing on George Soros if you want, but I'm not sure if he's going to show up.
I'll go a level deeper, and it's time for us to realize that we're in a very uncomfortable moment in America right now.
One side is outwardly and brazenly and proudly using political power and one side is not.
They're not going to stop unless they're stopped.
And the way to stop them is not just subpoenas or house oversight.
The way to stop them is Republican attorneys general and Republican DAs and they start indicting leading members of the American Democrat Party and they need to start to go to jail.
I do not say this in any way that gives me joy or delight.
But how about this?
Let's just start with the fraud that was BLM.
Okay.
BLM raised $100 million from donors across the country.
Therefore, there's jurisdiction all across the country.
And they ripped them off and they defrauded them.
No one has gone to jail.
No one's been indicted.
Okay.
There needs to be a message that if it truly no one is above the law, then okay, then a former Democrat president needs to go to jail.
Because Bill Clinton, there's a lot there.
Let me tell you.
And let's start with Epstein's Island.
And from there, you can really start to pick apart what, how do I say this in a way?
Really pick apart what motivates some of these very sick and perverted people.
Bill Clinton should have to answer, hey, how young were the girls that you were with on that island?
Why doesn't a local Republican DA do that?
Some people say, oh, Charlie, that's not very nice.
I'm done being nice.
I want to win.
Hi, my name is Michelle LaMonica.
I'm a political constituent here in California.
I've been at the Capitol multiple times fighting evil bills.
How do we handle a governor who makes up his own rules, who uses the school system, our innocent, vulnerable children whose brain is not developed until they're 21 to groom them and to tell them and feed them lies?
This is horrible.
I went to 70 churches, Senate Bill 24.
I went to 70 churches and I said, raise up the truth and go to the Capitol with me.
Maybe one or two churches went.
Senate Bill 24, I went to the Capitol and I spoke.
What was it?
It was the abortion pill.
And I spoke against it because they lied.
These Democrats, excuse me if you're a Democrat, these liberals told these college students over 200 college girls showed up and they told him it was the same thing as taking an aspirin to remove.
And now we had to pay, we have to pay millions of dollars in taxes for abortion clinics at colleges.
And you want to hear one more?
Senate Bill 145.
You know what that is?
That is an older man or older woman can prey on an underage teenager 10 years younger than their age and no legal ramifications.
You know what this transgender stuff is?
This is human trafficking.
If they could take our kids and deform them, then they're going to take them out of the home.
And that's what our governor is taxing us for, taxing us for excessive abortions.
Proposition one, abortion up until the ninth month.
What's the question?
The question is, how do we defeat an absolutely evil Gavin Newsom?
And I hope you're listening to this, Gavin, because I'm after you and I'm not done with you.
Can I answer?
Of course you can.
The answer is quite simple.
The answer is in this room.
The answer is the 10,000 churches in California.
The answer, I appreciate everything that you're doing, but if the pastors of our churches in California would speak and mobilize their church, Gavin Newsom would not be our governor anymore.
Great answer.
Great answer.
Hi, Charlie.
I saw you at UC Davis.
I'm a senior in high school and I'm attending TCU in the fall.
So very excited for that.
I also got the opportunity to volunteer for Kevin Kiley's campaign.
He is our representative for our third district.
He's doing a great job for you guys, by the way.
He's doing a great job.
So since I go to an all-girls Catholic private high school, I've had incidences where teachers are very specific on their opinions, you know, very one-sided, you know, do not like other sides of political views, you know, can't be conservative.
Had a theology teacher who prayed for a special rosary for the 2016 election.
Girls that are very for abortion.
Truth Over Good Grades 00:02:16
Yeah, didn't work.
But what can I do?
Here's my question.
So what can I do when I'm in a situation like this where I have to suck it up, suck up my opinion for a good grade in a class?
Got it.
Great, great question.
I get this question all the time.
So you have to make a choice.
The earlier you make this choice in your life, the freer and happier you will be.
So you have the Charlie Kirk opinion and the Ben Shapiro opinion.
And I think the world of Ben Shapiro, okay, but we see this completely differently.
Ben's position, and I'm not misrepresenting it.
He went to Harvard and he mentions that, right?
And he says, look, just lie and tell them what they want to hear and write the paper as they want to hear it and just pander to the liberal thing, get the best grade, and then you have the credential and then you can influence.
I don't think grades really mean anything.
I don't.
I think the entire academic system is largely a sham.
And I think college is a scam.
Literally.
But more importantly, I don't think it's right to lie.
And I would challenge you and you can make a decision, right?
Do you want to be the person that sits idly by when evil things happen because you're told to suck it up?
Grades mean really nothing to me.
It means nothing that you went to Yale or Brown or Stanford.
It means absolutely nothing.
I care about your character.
And we know this in human psychology, and we know this, that if you lie a little, you'll lie a lot.
And if you get used to lying, you'll do it even more.
And it becomes character comes from a Greek word, which means that which is etched in, that which is tattooed, that which is imprinted.
I think that's very instructive to know the root of the word character because it's who you are.
It's in your DNA.
So in high school, I was disagreeable.
I was vocal.
I got graded differently for it, right?
And yeah, I mean, I didn't get always the perfect grades.
I did fine, but things worked out.
I think God will bless you if you tell the truth.
And so, but you have to make that decision, right?
Do you want to lie and get a good grade?
Or do you want to tell the truth and see where the grade ends up?
Only you can answer that.
Most parents tell their kids to lie.
Most parents tell their kids to say things that are not true because in most suburban conservative households, getting a good grade is more important than being ethical.
Character Is Etched In DNA 00:07:29
I think that's a mistake.
Thank you.
So let me, I wanted to get as many questions as possible.
And I appreciate the people who have gone before.
Please just give us, so Charlie can respond.
Just give us the question.
Hey, yeah, Charlie, so I'm the senior leader of a Christian ministry to LGBTQ.
And so, and that's what I came out of.
And so, of course, I have the compassion for how it feels, you know, to be trapped in a world where you feel one way and you read that the Bible says you should feel another way, right?
And so my, but I'm agreeing with, I mean, we've got to rally the church to the truth.
We have to not be allowing drag queen story hour, et cetera, because that's leading people into deception and pain.
So my question is, how do we rally the church like you're doing, like you did such an amazing job at, to the truth?
No, because what I know is that therapists can help these people, but there are so few.
The best solution to LGBTQ is a healthy church.
So how do we rally the church to stand up for these things and to push back the evil, all of the things you're rallying without getting a church that's so angry about this issue that they run over all of the many people that are dealing with this?
There was a beautiful question earlier of, you know, are we lifting up the ideal as well, right?
So for everything we condemn, are we also elevating the beauty?
And I'll be, you know, I got married two years ago.
And I'll be honest, you know, it might not be cautious, but, you know, I was doing a lot of church tours when I told people I was getting married.
And, you know, people would be like, oh, well, you know, you're about to go to your funeral and your old life is over.
And no, but it's very interesting.
And everybody laughs.
The way that the Christian world treats marriage is kind of like your free self is dying.
And you guys might not know you're doing it, but we do not celebrate the idea of biblical marriage for young people well at all.
And I mean, part of it is because, you know, I, thankfully, my parents never divorced, but I mean, most marriages I knew in my local area fell apart and divorced.
So that's just kind of like a cynicism there.
But there's beauty in a man and woman coming together in a covenant, right?
Coming together in a marriage.
It's so beautiful.
And so I think that has to be part of it.
I will say, though, that we have to be careful.
And I don't think this was your question.
We have to be careful not to pander to the sensitivities of the alphabet mafia.
You know, at times, you know, there'll be gay or transgender people that will say, well, Charlie, I just don't like the tone coming out of the church.
Yeah, like, sorry, excuse my tone.
There's men in thongs dancing in front of eight-year-olds.
Like, yeah, my tone gets a little heated.
Like, I'm not going to like tamper down my language because excuse me when I get a little righteous indignation Old Testament on you, right?
Because you guys are chopping off the parts of a 10-year-old, right?
So I think we have to be careful not to take cues.
At the same time, I think I try to strike a balance of making it clear that we do love these people, but we truly hate what they're doing to themselves.
And that's a very important distinction.
So how do we rally the church?
We got to tell the truth.
We got to tell the truth repeatedly.
Thank you.
Yes, Charlie, welcome.
We're so glad you're here.
Question for both of you.
Being a 501c3, how do you navigate between what you can say from the pulpit and endorsing a candidate versus what the Johnson Amendment says?
He's an expert.
So, I mean, churches handle it differently, right?
I mean, Jack Hibbs and Pastor Rob McCoy, they'll bring, you know, they'll bring candidates up, endorse them on stage, film the entire thing and send the sermon to the IRS asking the IRS to come after them.
No, it's real.
And they're like, come on, bring it on.
And why won't they?
Why won't the IRIRM bring it on?
Why won't the IRS bring it on?
Yeah, why won't they bring it on?
They might be understaffed or they might be afraid the Johnson Amendment might actually be unconstitutional and that a test case like Jack Hibbs could actually go to the U.S. Supreme Court and it's against religious liberty protected speech.
That's probably maybe.
But I'm not telling you to do that.
Some of you, some pastors out there are inheritors of a church they did not found and they want to be stewards of that church and I totally appreciate that.
There's a lot you could do within 501c3 guidelines that is still safe harbor.
You could do voting guides.
You could talk about biblical voting.
You can give your own personal opinions, right?
You can have both candidates and both parties be invited for a debate or a forum.
And if one doesn't show up, that's fine.
There is 501c3.
No, it's true.
I mean, you invite them both and whoever shows up, fine.
I mean, those rules, I mean, we run a 501c3 and we have a C4, right?
So we have both.
And that's another thing.
As a church, you could start a sister organization as a 501c4 that could be called, you know, Destiny Political Action.
And that's the one that is, you know, more vocal and more forceful on that.
It's all based on kind of your tolerance of how aggressive you want to be, right?
At Turning Point USA, you know, we are extremely stringent on those regulations and rules for many reasons because they're the rules and the regulations.
But also we have a 501c4 that is able to be just bold and clear.
So there's no reason to even get close to that line.
So we, if you're educational in nature, you're able to follow that.
But a lot of this is fear that the church is believing that quite honestly, there's a lot more that the church can do that they don't even recognize or realize.
And finally, Kamala Harris in a broadcast to hundreds of black churches right before the election was brought to speak and give political speeches.
Left-wing black Democrat churches violate the Johnson Amendment on a weekly basis.
I'm not saying to do that, but that is something that people don't even recognize or realize.
So that's my best answer to that question.
I would say, you know, like we had Larry Elder here.
We had Anthony Tromino here.
We had county supervisors who are running for office, school board members.
I acknowledge them.
People are smart enough.
They can read between the lines too.
And also, if Gavin Newsom wants to sit down for a 90-minute interview, I think Pastor Greg would love that.
Come on.
Thank you.
Hi, Charlie.
I'm actually the Bay Area Field Representative that hosted Riley Gaines at San Francisco State this past week.
Thank you.
Next week, we're actually hosting John Root at San Francisco State.
And needless to say, our students are feeling the pressure because they're receiving numerous hateful messages, and the school has been less than helpful.
And in fact, they're actively trying to shut down the events.
So I was wondering if you had any words of encouragement or advice for our brave students at San Francisco State and any words for San Francisco State itself.
So let me just emphasize this.
The Riley Gaines thing happens and our turning point kids say, let's go do another event.
That's pretty cool, isn't it?
That's the remnant, everybody.
That's the attitude we need to have.
Those Turning Point USA students at San Francisco State have every reason to back down, not do the event, go into the summer.
But they say, no, we're in this culture.
We're to win.
That's really, that's really amazing.
That's what we believe at Turning Point USA.
Homeschooling Public School Kids 00:04:14
Words of wisdom, it's very simple.
You got to tell them it's going to be difficult, but you're going to get tougher and stronger.
You will be anti-fragile.
Your opponents will be fragile.
They're so fragile that they have to try to kidnap the opposition when they come on campus.
You need to tell them that they're going to smear you, they're going to slander you, but life is very hard.
Life is difficult.
But you're going to now have the metaphorical muscles to be able to deal with a tough life.
You're going to now know what it means to be under stress, to not sleep the night before, to have to, you know, adrenaline pumping through just because you're having a guest speaker, have to stand for your beliefs, go up against a tyrannical authority.
Good.
You're prepped for the 21st century.
The trans opposition, they are the weakest people because they've never actually had to do that.
They get everything handed to them.
Finally, my message to San Francisco State University: you better not cancel the event because you guys are bound by the First Amendment, and you better believe we got great lawyers that would love to file a lawsuit if you guys try to block our event.
I'm a parent of four kids, two of which are in public high school.
And I would like to know what you would say to Christian parents of kids going to public school here in California.
Is it time for Christians to take their kids out of public school?
Yes, it is.
And I want to be clear.
I say this with no judgment because people have financial burdens.
You know, they're single family.
If you have a kid in government schools, God bless you.
I'm going to help you.
I'm going to give you some ways that you can help your kid, right?
But if you have the financial means to do it, if you're able to even stretch a little bit, take your kid out.
Now, let me challenge the premise, okay?
If you are willing for your kid to go into debt to go to college, why aren't you willing to take on debt to have your kid go to a private Christian elementary school?
Right?
I'm just trying to just lovingly challenge a little bit because I would argue the elementary and high school is actually more important to go into debt for than the college.
Okay?
Now, if you are in that circumstance, you say, Charlie, I can't pull my kid out of government school.
I can't do it.
It's too much on me.
I'm working two jobs.
We're financially strained.
We're already in debt.
We had a bankruptcy.
I totally get it.
Okay.
My first piece of advice is go to your local church.
And if it's destiny, ask for help.
Ask and you shall receive.
Plead your case.
You guys have a school and you're building even bigger one.
You'd be amazed at how generous financial support could possibly emerge through prayer and fasting and asking.
If you make your case, I got two kids.
I don't want them to get this trans stuff.
Can you guys give me a financial break for this local Christian school?
You'd be amazed.
Donors will step up.
Maybe not.
Maybe everyone will say no and everyone's heart will be hardened.
I doubt it.
But it's amazing how few people actually come and ask because they think they'll be told no.
Leave it to God.
Humble yourself to say, I'm in a tough financial situation.
I want to keep my kid out of government school.
Can you help me, please?
I have not run into a pastor that would say, you know what?
You're on your own.
Most pastors would say, boy, let's try to make it work.
You know, let's look at your financials.
You're going to have to be open.
Let's really see what situation you're in.
Maybe we could loan you the money.
Here's a donor.
Like the amount of willingness in the Christian world to help make it happen is extraordinary.
But it takes you to have to check the pride to have to go to tell the pastor that you might need a little financial help to get over the hill.
There is no other reason to keep your kids in government schools.
Zero.
Oh, it's about sports.
Okay, private, your kid can be an all-American as a homeschooler, too.
Like, I don't understand.
Like, it's about sports.
I mean, or they say that I want them to be a ministry to other kids in the local high school.
Okay, first of all, they're still developing.
Okay, education is about to lead forth.
If you want your 15-year-old to go on a mission trip, send them to Zambia.
Okay, like that is not what high school should be about.
I say this lovingly: 99% of Christian parents that send their kids to high school thinking it's a mission field ends up realizing that all of a sudden it is filled literally with landmines.
And they're like, oh my goodness, my kid's unrecognizable.
So, but if you have a kid in government schools, then you have to all of a sudden become the teacher.
You have to be actively involved in deprogramming.
Every time they come back, you have to take Hillsdale online course.
You have to hawk there at Coleman.
You have to ask questions.
You have to be the teacher's worst nightmare.
And at that point, you're like, why don't you just homeschool yourself?
I mean, it takes so much work.
I don't get it.
But I'm not trying to tell you what to do.
Hold On To Real Estate 00:14:28
Here's what I'm going to tell you.
We're going to homeschool our daughter.
Okay.
And if we ever send her to a school, it will be to a classical Christian school with an armed guard.
And you better believe I will vet all that curriculum, right?
And it's going to be very robust.
I'm not, government school is never going to happen.
I would never send somebody I love to a government school.
You might disagree, but I'm telling you, you're playing Russian with their values.
So I just wanted to ask your opinion on something because usually it's right.
Wow.
That's very fun.
So if Ron DeSantis decided to run for president, would you support it?
And who would you see yourself voting for Trump or DeSantis?
Sure.
I've answered the question many times, but I'll answer it again for you.
And so I say this personally, not on behalf of Turning Point USA.
I'm all in for Trump 2024, 100%.
And I love Ron DeSantis.
I consider him a friend.
And I wish him very well if he runs.
I think he can, you know, do pretty well and finish second.
But Trump is, Trump's an unstoppable force.
There was three minutes of that Tucker Carlson interview that was one of the wisest, deepest foreign policy monologues that I've heard of foreignly.
It was so brilliant.
I don't even think people realized how good it was when he was talking about Macron and the world's reserve currency status.
I'm sorry, I found my MAGA hat in my closet afterwards and I was like, we need more of this Trump.
Less of the, you know, and I love the president.
I call him.
We're good friends.
He's been so good to me.
And I'll tell, I'll talk about in a second on that.
And this is not just a commercial for Donald Trump because he definitely has some things he has to improve.
He's got to get off the vaccine thing, 100%.
He's got to pick better people around him.
And the Fauci thing is something he's got to deal with.
I say that as someone who's completely on the bandwagon, right?
The vaccine is a major attack vector.
It's not good.
He was swindled by Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Johnson and Johnson, and Moderna.
But okay.
But the other point that I want to make, though, is that, you know, if Ron DeSantis and Trump run, fine, it can be contentious.
He'll win.
But I think Ron DeSantis is America's greatest governor.
Ron DeSantis has done an unbelievable job.
He's kept the state open.
He's bold and courageous.
He cares for the people of the state amazingly.
I love the man.
And I don't like when Trump attacks DeSantis.
I've said that publicly.
I've said that privately.
It bothers me.
Focus on that Tucker Carlson interview, Mr. President, is my advice, right?
Focus on how you could do better deals with Macron and end the war in Ukraine and hold the CCP accountable and keep us as the world reserve currency.
That's going to make you more popular than ever before, right?
That's my own personal opinion.
Final thing I'll say is: would I support him?
There was another wrinkle to the question, was there?
I don't remember, but yeah, okay, I think I answered the question.
So, yeah, I did.
But anyway, everyone, you guys can have your own opinions.
My personal opinion is: let's not try to have a long, drawn-out, contentious primary unnecessarily.
Let's instead invest as much money as possible into a robust early voting ballot chasing operation in Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin.
Build a machine that can compete with the Democrats.
Make sure we have ethical and fair and transparent elections in Wisconsin and Georgia and Arizona and coalesce around a single candidate.
I think that candidate will and should be President Donald Trump.
Do everything we can to get him focused on the messages that resonate, which is trade deals, international geopolitics, ending wars, strong borders, national sovereignty, and America revitalization.
We do that, we can win in 2024.
Thank you.
Hi there, Charlie.
Thank you for coming here and not giving up on California.
My name's Jason.
I am a Marine Corps veteran, 27-year police veteran.
I'm a patriot.
I will lay down my life for this country and any person in this room.
But I am discouraged.
I'm discouraged by what I saw in the 2020 election and the 2022 that gave us Biden in the White House, Senators Raphael Warnock, John Fetterman in Pennsylvania, and even the reelection of Gretchen Whitmer.
And from what I can tell, this all went down in six very strategic states, the fraud, the massive amounts of fraud.
Those six states were Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia.
My question to you is: what is the pushback?
What is the fight to curb all of this fraudulent voting in those six states?
If you can break them down, at your level, you would know more than the rest of us.
So I try to zero in on even three less.
It just is going to take Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, if we win Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, and Iowa, which we will win.
And again, I'm speaking personally, not on behalf of Turning Point USA.
You guys can laugh, but these maniacs are out of control at the IRS.
So I'm speaking personally.
So it's going to just take Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin.
Okay.
So let me tell you one thing we have to fix that is really bothering me.
Okay.
That is the wrong reaction to a legitimate problem.
And this is why good intentions do not mean anything.
It's what you do.
There were 500,000 people that did not even bother to show up in the 2022 midterms that voted for Donald Trump to go vote for Herschel Walker.
There were 280,000 in Arizona that did not bother to show up to go vote for Kerry Lake.
Yes, some of them were disenfranchised because a day of.
And some, but some also, because I learned this, we received thousands of emails, and they're not fake of people that say, Charlie, I'm done voting.
I intentionally did not vote in the midterms.
I'm proudly no longer voting.
I'm proudly no longer engaging in a fraudulent system.
That is a really bad idea.
You are doing the work of the enemy.
Now, let's play it.
You guys know Pascal's wager, maybe or maybe not, which is that it's better to believe in God because it's a better risk.
It's a better probability than it is not to.
Well, let's call this Trump's wager.
If you do not show up, there is a 100% guarantee that the bad guys are going to win.
If you at least go through the 12-minute process that it takes to vote, there's at least a sliver.
So we have to have everybody show up.
You have to.
You have to leave it to God.
You have to do it.
You have to at least do that thing, okay?
Because we're not even doing that.
I'm worried we're going to see the greatest self-inflicted voter suppression operation happening in 2024 because people will say, you know what?
Why should I vote if the system's broken?
The second thing we have to do is, and I'm very underwhelmed by the RNC.
I'm a huge critic of the RNC.
I encourage you to stop giving money to the RNC.
I do not think that they are good stewards of your money or resources or finances.
And they don't like it.
They're coming after me very hard.
But I love you guys too much to lie to you.
I tell you the truth.
We need to get lawsuits filed the same way Mark Elias filed them in Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin and get rid of the drop boxes and get signature verification.
Realistically, it's probably not going to happen in a lot of those states.
We just lost a critical Wisconsin Supreme Court justice seat in Wisconsin, and most people don't even know it.
So look, here's the honest truth is we're going to have to ballot harvest.
We're going to have to early vote.
We're going to have to try to catch them in the cheating.
We're going to have to try to file lawsuits and show up in big numbers.
And it's a 50-50 shot.
I'm going to be very honest.
And people don't like it when I say this.
I'm not going to give you hopium.
When people say, oh, we're going to win in a landslide.
No, we're not.
No.
These people have a machine of ballot harvesting, ballot chasing, early voting, fraudulent votes, you know, double voting.
So we're left with nothing but bad options, honestly.
And so we have to act righteously and we have to do the right thing.
We have to try to play at their own game.
But the worst thing we could do is give up and not vote at all.
That's where we're at.
This will be the last question.
Hi, Charlie.
It's good to see you again.
My name's Richard.
I'm the guy that you called an old fart in Davis about a month last month.
Oh, did I do that?
Yeah, senior citizen that got assaulted by Antifa, but I'm not senior yet.
Okay.
Yeah.
Anyways, the question I have is, you're a guy that loves to look at things realistically and deeply with optimism.
And for 30 years, I have struggled with what I've seen with the destruction of our American economy by mostly the demon krauts.
And this thing you mentioned earlier about our dollar value freaked me out when I saw Brazil, South Africa, these other nations go away from using our dollar.
I'm much more worried about the digital currency thing.
I'm thankful DeSantis, at least in his state, doing the right thing there.
However, question really quickly.
I'm starting to have the question last time.
What do you think about this thought that this might be backfiring for our American dollar?
It might be hurting these other countries more than us that they're stepping away from it.
Yeah, potentially.
We don't know how this is going to end, but I believe this is an intentional sabotage campaign by the great reset crowd to end the dollar as the world reserve currency.
And that will impoverish every single person in this room in a way I cannot put into words.
You will have 25% inflation overnight because all of a sudden all the dollars will become flooding home and they'll say, oh, we don't need these dollars as our reserve.
We're going to send them back to America.
You will have 25% inflation overnight.
You think inflation is bad now?
Wait all of a sudden until every industrialized country sends back the dollars they have as the reserve, as the barter, as the ability to be able to do transactions.
I think they want that.
I think they're trying to break the currency.
This is where I am honest and I'm realistic.
The only thing you can do is prepare.
This is out of your control.
Congress is a waste of time.
They're a bunch of gutless wonders on this topic.
They're afraid of the Federal Reserve.
They're afraid of the Treasury Department.
Charlie, what does that mean?
I'm not telling you what to do with your money, but I own a lot of metallics.
I do own Bitcoin.
Yeah, I do.
I got it.
I was getting there.
Somebody wants to give you some advice.
Yeah, no, that's fine.
I own things that I think are outside of the traditional banking system, cryptocurrency.
I said this at a church recently in the place, you know, the media wrote it up.
I invest in bullets because they appreciate in value.
They're always good.
And you could always, that's not a joke, by the way.
They go up in value.
You want to know, you bought a lot of bullets 10 years ago.
They're like 10 times more valuable than they were 10 years ago.
But real estate and land will always have value.
So I encourage you guys to hold on to your real estate if it's possible.
I'm not an investment guy, but you just have to prepare.
Find people smarter than me, because if this system collapses, don't be taken by surprise, right?
And I'm not trying to scare you.
I'm not trying to alarm you.
I am realistic.
You are correct.
I always tell you the truth.
We are within the 50 to 60% chance that they intentionally obliterate the dollar as a world reserve currency in the next 18 months.
It's easier said than done.
There's a backstop against it, but it's within striking distance.
And that would make the great reset possible.
And I'm afraid that's what they want.
So, okay, thank you.
So, all right, last question, and then we have to be done.
All right, I'm sorry.
Hi, Charlie.
Thank you for coming.
My question to you is: what advice would you give a high schooler that's trying to fight back against the liberal school system?
It's a great question.
What a great question, isn't that?
That's terrific.
So, let me make, I'm going to answer it in a second, but let me make a couple announcements.
Number one, we have our books outside for a gift of any amount, a dollar, five dollars, ten dollars.
You guys can get a copy of my book, The College Scam.
Hardcover, best deal.
We know inflation is crushing you.
If you can do more, then give more.
If the Lord has blessed you, then give more.
All the proceeds go to Turning Point USA, not to me personally.
But if you, hey, if you're getting crushed by inflation, I want you to have this book, give a buck, get the book, okay?
So, it's the best deal in town.
All right.
The second thing is: if you guys can help me personally, this is something that I would love to have you guys do: I'd love the chance to earn my favorite word in the English language, earn the chance to become a daily news source for you.
So, if you guys could take out your phones and subscribe to our podcast, if you're not already, I know many of you are.
I know some of you have gone through this.
This is so important to helping us stay cancel-proof against the big tech censors.
You guys follow that QR code and you just press the subscribe button, which is the plus sign in the upper right-hand corner.
If you don't know what a QR code is, there's an eight-year-old running around here somewhere.
If you want to do it the old-fashioned way, you open up your phone and you type in Charlie Kirk show, and then you hit that plus sign.
You might say, Oh, Charlie, it doesn't matter.
I can't put into words how much that helps grow our audience and our podcast.
So, thank you, thank you, thank you.
And then, finally, what if you're a high schooler and that was your question, right?
Is start a Turning Point USA chapter.
That's the first thing I encourage you to do.
But this applies to people of all ages, which is commit to a lifetime and an attitude of doing meaningful things for the Lord and for liberty.
You got to say, I'm signing up for my life.
I'm signing up to keep on building, to keep on doing things, to push back against tyranny.
And it is easy to despair, but remember, despair is a sin.
You, as a Christian, are not allowed to despair.
And so, try to find community, try to find people that share your values and associate with them.
And that's what Turning Point USA is there for.
So, if you guys can follow that QR code, I'd be blessed by that.
And, Greg, back to you.
I'm going to say thank you to Charlie in just a minute, but I want to give you some instruction.
I've been around here a while.
We are going to be Christians in the parking lot.
Okay?
It's going to take a while, but you're willing to go to Sacramento Kings and give your money to them.
And it's a lot more challenging to get out of there than it is.
So, you be nice to each other.
All right.
Be nice to each other.
Now, whatever you can do to support Charlie, do it.
All right.
What he just mentioned, also financially supporting their organization, all the above.
Help this man out.
He is a voice that we desperately need in America.
Lastly, let's all get on our feet and thank Charlie Kurt.
God bless you, guys.
Thank you.
