Why Democrats Wrote Off East Palestine
00:09:10
|
|
| Hey, everybody. | |
| Today on the Charlie Kirk show and ask me anything episode where I take your questions. | |
| You have emailed me freedom at charliekirk.com. | |
| That is freedom at charliekirk.com. | |
| We talk about all sorts of different things. | |
| Why have the Democrats written off East Palestine, Ohio? | |
| It's a train derailment, Trump's fault, and more. | |
| Email me your thoughts as always: freedom at charliekirk.com. | |
| Buckle up, everybody. | |
| Here we go. | |
| Charlie, what you've done is incredible here. | |
| Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses. | |
| I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk. | |
| Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks. | |
| I want to thank Charlie. | |
| He's an incredible guy. | |
| His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created. | |
| Turning point USA. | |
| We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country. | |
| That's why we are here. | |
| Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at AndrewandTodd.com. | |
| Okay, the first question is Frank from New Mexico. | |
| Charlie Love the Program. | |
| Can you please help explain to me why Joe Biden and the Democrats don't care about East Palestine, Ohio? | |
| So I have a couple thoughts on this. | |
| So Pete Buttigieg recently visited. | |
| By the way, Donald Trump visited before and totally overshadowed him in every possible way, literally and figuratively. | |
| So Pete Buttigieg visits, and we have joked around for some time that Pete Buttigeg is just chat GPT as a Democrat. | |
| And we said, hey, he's going to overheat. | |
| He's going to overload. | |
| The system is going to be overwhelmed. | |
| And in some ways, our prophecy was fulfilled. | |
| Pete Buttigieg just started talking. | |
| I really like East Palestine. | |
| And I'm sorry. | |
| I'm sorry. | |
| He just overheated. | |
| Play cut 104. | |
| Both information and misinformation injected into this situation. | |
| None of which is to the benefit of the community when it comes to that misinformation. | |
| So I think. | |
| So I lost my train of thought. | |
| Lost my train of thought. | |
| Ooh, that's cruel, Pete. | |
| You couldn't have had any other way to word it. | |
| You really had to use the word train in there. | |
| Not exactly the best word choice. | |
| Could have said my line of thinking. | |
| What was I saying? | |
| No, no, no. | |
| You had to use the word train in there just to be cruel, just to kind of put. | |
| No, no, no, that's too sophisticated for him. | |
| Remember, he's a droid. | |
| That's Pete Buttigieg. | |
| Pete Buttigeg is a droid. | |
| So why is it that Democrats don't care about East Palestine? | |
| It was, it's, in my personal opinion, it was illuminating to see how they have completely written off East Palestine. | |
| They think they can get to permanent political power without muscular Midwest white working class voters. | |
| They have contempt for them. | |
| They don't like their values. | |
| They don't want them. | |
| This is exactly why, and people hate it when they say this. | |
| You say that you're not allowed to say this is why they want the borders to remain wide open. | |
| 7,08,000 people a day. | |
| This is not my theory. | |
| This is their own words. | |
| The Castro brothers have said, Texas will turn in a generation because of open borders. | |
| They have just completely written it off. | |
| What is a write-off? | |
| Play cut 90. | |
| What happened to my stereo? | |
| It's all smashed up. | |
| That's right. | |
| Now it looks like it was broken during shipping, and I insured it for $400. | |
| But you were supposed to get me a refund. | |
| You can't get a refund. | |
| Your warranty expired two years ago. | |
| So we're going to make the post office pay for my new stereo now? | |
| It's a write-off for them. | |
| How is it a write-off? | |
| They just write it off. | |
| Write it off what? | |
| Jerry, all these big companies, they write off everything. | |
| You don't even know what a write-off is. | |
| Do you? | |
| No, I don't. | |
| But they do. | |
| And they're the ones writing it off. | |
| They're the ones writing it off. | |
| And the Democrats are just writing off Eastern Ohio. | |
| They're done. | |
| It's a waste of time. | |
| They ask too many questions. | |
| The clamoring patriotic citizens of Ohio, way too high maintenance. | |
| Patriotism, love of country, parents' party, faith, muscular class. | |
| They think they can get to permanent political power while just doing nothing for these people. | |
| Remember, they think that demographics is destiny. | |
| They think that if they bring in enough people across the border, I'm not saying this is a guarantee. | |
| This is their own words. | |
| Their own political party, their own political future based on their own public statements, is that 78,000 people a day coming across the southern border will help them politically. | |
| And for committing the crime of noticing anytime you might actually notice it, they say that you're engaging in the great replacement theory. | |
| I don't know what that is. | |
| What I do know is that the Democrats have repeatedly stated that this is going to help them. | |
| So that's why they have written off Eastern Ohio. | |
| It's a waste of time for them. | |
| Donald Trump has not, though. | |
| Donald Trump in Ohio had one of his best political moments in years. | |
| 78. | |
| He says, you are forgotten no longer. | |
| To the people of East Palestine and to the nearby communities in Ohio and Pennsylvania, we have told you loud and clear, you are not forgotten. | |
| You are not forgotten. | |
| We stand with you. | |
| We pray for you and we will stay with you in your fight to help answer and the accountability that you deserve. | |
| We'll have that accountability. | |
| It'll all be out there very clearly. | |
| The Democrats used to represent places like eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania. | |
| That used to be Democrat country. | |
| But when Donald Trump won the presidency in 2016 for calling out their neoliberalism of relaxed trade policies, of unlimited people coming to the country and adventurous foreign wars, the three foundational elements of neoliberalism, invade the world, invite the world, import products we don't need. | |
| Those are the three pro bunch of plastic garbage that you're not going to remember, yet you don't need, that will fill up your garage. | |
| Bunch of foreigners coming into your country and invading a country a year, just perpetual war. | |
| Feed the war machine, feed the war machine, feed the war machine. | |
| Those are the foundational elements of neoliberalism. | |
| Donald Trump called them all out, and that really the Democrats laughed at him. | |
| Remember Hillary Clinton said, oh, there's no way he could possibly win. | |
| Bill Clinton, though, if you remember the 2016 campaign, I remember this vividly. | |
| Bill Clinton was the only one that was trying to tell Democrats there might be something to this because Bill Clinton himself successfully ran as a moderate. | |
| And he actually governed more as a moderate than I think people give him credit for. | |
| He did some wacky stuff, but Bill Clinton was no extreme radical on most issues in the 90s because the country wouldn't have tolerated it. | |
| But Bill Clinton ran as a Blue Dog Democrat in the 1992 election. | |
| He won as one. | |
| He's an awful person. | |
| He should be in jail for obviously what he did with Epstein, but it's a fact that as president, he was rather center left. | |
| He was not like Biden, who was just full Lenin. | |
| He's not like Obama, who was full far to the left. | |
| And Bill Clinton tried to warn the Hillary Clinton campaign: hey, Hill, Hill Dog, will you give me a call back? | |
| This whole Trump thing actually might have some power to it. | |
| And he was probably just told, you know, just go back to Jeffrey's Island Bill. | |
| He's like, all right, fine. | |
| I don't care. | |
| It's like, all the same, you don't talk to me anyway. | |
| And Bill Clinton was right. | |
| Bill Clinton had repeated warnings where he tried to tell the Democrat Party in 2016 that Donald Trump could break the matrix. | |
| But you see, Democrats fell for a logical fallacy. | |
| Things have always been a certain way. | |
| Therefore, they're always going to be a certain way. | |
| And Macomb County and Mohonig County and all these traditional Democrat white working class counties completely and totally flipped. | |
| And it's been, Republicans have continued that trend to a certain extent. | |
| They have somewhat struggled to do it at the same level or numbers as Donald Trump did. | |
| And then what the Democrats saw, though, is they said, okay, we're going to lose rural white working class voters, or these not always rural, but these kind of, let's just say, 50,000 to 100,000 person towns, of which Ohio has plenty, of which Indiana has plenty, of which Michigan has plenty. | |
| It's kind of those middle class. | |
| They usually have like two or three core industries there, whether it be steel or iron ore extraction or refrigerator assembly or something. | |
| And those industries have been depleted or re-domiciled completely. | |
| And there's a memory of what those places used to be. | |
| And Donald Trump came in and said, it's wrong what happened to you. | |
| I'm going to go about fixing it. | |
| And that was very, very powerful. | |
| It's political dynamite. | |
| But the Democrats are tired of doing that. | |
| They've gone all in on 1619 politics, which we call woke, we call all these different things. | |
| And the people of East Palestine, Ohio are getting a clear message from the American Democrat Party. | |
| We don't need you and we don't care about you. | |
| By the way, this is a really cruel way to govern. | |
| You should not make decisions of who actually gets help just based on whether or not they voted for you. | |
|
Fixing The Depleted Industrial Memory

|
|
| Donald Trump never did that. | |
| Donald Trump helped extract prisoners from other countries that hated him. | |
| Literally. | |
| Remember Lonzo Ball, whatever that guy, Lamello Ball. | |
| I can't remember the names. | |
| Lamar, Lamello, whatever. | |
| With that father who can't keep his mouth shut. | |
| He got him out of China. | |
| Never got any credit for that. | |
| Donald Trump governed for what was best for America. | |
| Donald Trump tried to do more for the black community, even though the black community rarely supported him. | |
| Is it LeVar Ball? | |
| Yeah, I mean, no offense. | |
| I just can't remember the name. | |
| He's also, he's got a big mouth. | |
| Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here. | |

| Really quick, we were just joking in the chat. | |
| These people are so miserable. | |
| I'm speaking in Crystal Lake, Illinois. | |
| This person says, this is horrifying. | |
| Charlie Kirk is coming to Crystal Lake. | |
| First of all, I grew up like right down the street. | |
| So coming to Crystal Lake, it's not exactly as if it's some sort of foreign invader coming to Crystal Lake. | |
| The hateful bigot Charlie Kirk is coming to Crystal Lake and bringing his bigoted, grooming hate speech to the holiday inn Crystal Lake on February 25th. | |
| His rally organizers, Moms for Liberty and McHenry County GOP, have been trying to keep the event secret. | |
| Now, actually, I've been talking openly about it. | |
| But the secret's out, and we will not tolerate a bunch of Klan folks and domestic terrorists in our area. | |
| The holiday inn is trying to keep things hush, hush. | |
| And what I'm told, they've already called, they've called the protest, is getting irritated by the number of complaints and posted social media. | |
| So please, help by calling them and telling them the social media post to cancel the event. | |
| We will not let Hank hate. | |
| We will not let hate hang out in our hometown. | |
| Five exclamation points. | |
| Can you get the Seinfeld clip on exclamation points? | |
| Please, you got to. | |
| This woman, she's a neurotic freak. | |
| Okay, let's get to, by the way, the event's gonna go on. | |
| It's gonna be great. | |
| We're gonna talk about education. | |
| We're gonna talk about why kids need to have a parent-centered education. | |
| It's gonna be terrific. | |
| Can't wait. | |
| That, by the way, only inspires me to fight harder the more you guys come after me like this. | |
| It gives me energy. | |
| Okay, Michael from Texas. | |
| Thank you for calling the program. | |
| You have some thoughts on Biden spending so much money on Ukraine, but not in America. | |
| Michael, how are you doing? | |
| Hi, Charlie. | |
| I'm with a live chat. | |
| We follow you every day. | |
| And I'm wondering, okay, I spent a long time in the military, and I know those chemicals that were in that train. | |
| Biden's spending a lot of money in Ukraine, but nobody's talking about the chemicals that they were carrying on the train. | |
| The mixture of those chemicals creates a basis of nerve gas. | |
| They are never, ever transported together on the same railway. | |
| So say that again. | |
| What two chemicals are almost never transported together? | |
| The chemicals that were on a train, I think EPA. | |
| I can't remember what the name is the chemical group. | |
| You're talking about the chemicals being the basis of their nerve gas. | |
| One of the reasons why people are reacting the way they are in the town. | |
| We're not putting any money into the cleanup. | |
| They said they blew it up, which made it worse. | |
| Yeah, that's right. | |
| And now it's coming out. | |
| They're saying that the blowing it up was totally unnecessary. | |
| But just from your standpoint, Michael, how does it make you feel that America is sending another $10 billion to Ukraine and ignoring this crisis? | |
| Well, I spent three tours in Afghanistan and war sucks. | |
| And I don't want to go fight a war in another country, somebody else's pocketbook. | |
| I mean, it's ridiculous that we're even sending anything because that guy is more corrupt than Putin is. | |
| It's mind-boggling. | |
| Well, thank you for your service. | |
| We're going to lose soldiers. | |
| No, thank you for your service and for that comment. | |
| We appreciate it. | |
| Thank you, Michael. | |
| God bless you. | |
| We have some emails here. | |
| Charlie, are you supporting Vivek Ramaswamy for president? | |
| I really enjoyed his interview. | |
| He might have my vote. | |
| Well, it's very early. | |
| No, I'm not supporting him for president. | |
| I'm supporting him as a friend. | |
| I think it's actually a really good thing that he's running. | |
| If you've not yet listened to our conversation with Vivek, if Vivek is able to successfully move the Overton window on a couple issues, that is worth running for the presidency. | |
| If Vivek's job ends up being, and I'll give him all the credit in the world, to get people to focus on mobilizing the military to secure the southern border and repealing affirmative action, those two things are well worth a presidential run. | |
| Now, I think he would be an, I think Vivek Ramaswamy, and you guys have got to listen to the interview. | |
| You guys could check it out on our podcast page. | |
| He would be an unbelievable chief of staff. | |
| I think he would be an incredible anti-woke czar, incredible, where he's a presidential appointee. | |
| Vivek, your job is to find the wokeness like a surgeon and extract the tumor from our government. | |
| Go nuts, Vivek. | |
| I think he'd be terrific. | |
| So he's incredibly talented. | |
| I'm glad he's running. | |
| He's not my choice for the top choice, but I also think he's going to put pressure on some of these other candidates, Nikki Haley, soon to be Mike Pompeo, Tim Scott. | |
| Mike Pence is almost certainly going to run. | |
| They're not going to be able to just engage in platitudes. | |
|
Vivek As Anti-Woke Czar
00:17:22
|
|
| You've got to get real policy ideas. | |
| You have to really explain what is it you believe. | |
| And he's also moving the Overton window. | |
| It's like, why is this so complicated to say that we should mobilize the United States military to secure the southern border? | |
| Why is this even an issue? | |
| And I applaud that wholeheartedly. | |
| I think that's really smart. | |
| And I encourage you to listen to that. | |
| He made a good case yesterday on our program here. | |
| And we got a, I must have over 100, 200 emails very favorably saying that I might not be voting for Vivek because I'm a Trump guy or whatever, but he's really over the target on explaining why these ideas matter. | |

| Look, I've received hundreds of emails from people. | |
| I could just read one here. | |
| This one is Terrell from Kentucky. | |
| We have Earl from Indiana. | |
| Very similar. | |
| Charlie is Trump to blame for the train derailment. | |
| Joy Behar certainly believes that. | |
| Cut 108, Joy Behar, specialist in all things American infrastructure, weighs in Cut 108. | |
| People don't know why they would ever vote for him because somebody who, by the way, he plays someone with deep charge to the chemical industry in charge of the EPA's chemical safety office. | |
| That's who you voted for in that district. | |
| Donald Trump, who reduces all safety. | |
| He did. | |
| Those voters saw something on the ground that probably resonates. | |
| That's the thing. | |
| But they need to look past the photo options and say, who's doing the job here? | |
| Forget about the photo option. | |
| Showing up as a bigger one. | |
| I think this is Donald Trump's fault. | |
| She's a very cruel person. | |
| Now, admittedly, sometimes I say that, not situations this dire, honestly, but like when I hear Democrats complain about the economy, I kind of say what Joy Behar says. | |
| You voted for that, but she's wrong. | |
| They did not vote for this. | |
| See, one thing if it's true, she's a liar. | |
| But the kind of it's very cruel, first of all, if that was true, people are experiencing this massive chemical issue, and you're like, oh, you deserve it. | |
| You deserve it. | |
| You deserve it because you didn't vote for the person I wanted you to vote for. | |
| That's really bad. | |
| Now, here is the droid, the gay droid 127. | |
| Secretary Judge. | |
| You mentioned a national political figure who's decided to get involved. | |
| It sounds like you're talking about Trump. | |
| And then you said, I need your help. | |
| How can he help? | |
| Well, one thing he could do is express support for reversing the deregulation that happened on his watch. | |
| I heard him say he had nothing to do with it, even though it was in his administration. | |
| So if he had nothing to do with it and they did it in his administration against his will, maybe he could come out and say that he supports us moving in a different direction. | |
| You could see that the coders behind the droid, they've changed the intonation of him. | |
| He's got a little Obama going on now. | |
| Do you notice that? | |
| He can, he can cut a change and take responsibility because it uh it happened under his responsibility administration, and uh you know, it's uh I'm gay, and uh, so is my husband. | |
| And uh, do you know I'm gay? | |
| You can kind of tell they changed a little bit of the vibe, it's a little bit more Obama. | |
| They got to dial, they got to definitely change that dial a little bit more. | |
| You know, it's uh, it's a little too much Obama, they could use a little bit more Clinton. | |
| I feel your pain, they got to find a happy medium between that. | |
| It's just the they got to go back to the artificial intelligence drawing board. | |
| So, let's go. | |
| But what's the truth? | |
| Is it true? | |
| Budget is a liar. | |
| Obviously, he's just pantomiming whatever his people tell him. | |
| Joy Behar is cruel, not in defense of Joy Behar, but I don't find some of the attacks in Joy Behar on this particular topic to be a little bit disingenuous because I say it all the time when it's not life or death situations. | |
| I say, Hey, you're complaining about the economy. | |
| If you voted for Joe Biden, you certainly deserve it. | |
| So, that sort of argument, I don't think, is totally unfair, but I do think it's unfair because it's a lie. | |
| Cut 126. | |
| Turns out, NTSB chairwoman Jennifer Hamedy debunks the claim that Trump's deregulation would have helped avoid the train derailment. | |
| It is a falsehood. | |
| Play Cut 126. | |
| For this investigation and for this derailment, ECP breaks would not have prevented the derailment. | |
| The wheelbarrowing failed on car number 23. | |
| So, even with ECP breaks, the derailment would have occurred, the fire would have ensued, and the five vinyl chloride tank cars would still have to be vented and burned. | |
| So, even with the ECP breaks, all of this would have happened. | |
| So, the whole regime narrative was built on a lie. | |
| And then, even if that particular regulation would have applied to this particular train, which it doesn't, you're trying to tell me that Donald Trump and the spirit of deregulating the American economy could be held accountable for a particular. | |
| But we can't blame Joe Biden for the open border and we can't blame Joe Biden for what's happening in Afghanistan. | |
| But it's not a matter of hypothetical, it is a fact. | |
| That particular regulation would not have applied to this train. | |
| And I just want to re-emphasize that Joy Behar was not making the argument that a lot of conservatives make, which is you voted for this, you deserve it. | |
| She was really almost relishing in the pain, wasn't he? | |
| Wasn't she? | |
| Like, hey, you guys are suffering, but you guys got a bunch of Trump flags, so you're on your own. | |
| To defend Marjorie Taylor Greene's spirit of what she wants in a national divorce, she's not wrong when she says we're living in two different countries. | |
| When you have a talk show host that basically dismisses the suffering of your fellow countrymen and your fellow citizens by, I don't like your political choices, geez. | |
| By the way, do you remember the professor when the hurricane hit Houston back in 17, 18, 19? | |
| I think it's 2018. | |
| The professor came out and said, Oh, they're all Republicans there anyway in Houston. | |
| They deserve it. | |
| A high-hazard flammable train, high-hazard inflammable train, HHFT, means a single train transporting 20 or more loaded tank cars of class three flammable liquid in a continuous block, or a single train carrying 35 or more loaded tank cars of a class three flammable liquid throughout the train. | |
| Consist. | |
| The regulation would have applied to trains with 20 or more class three flammable cars, yet the train had only three. | |
| But who needs facts, right? | |
| When you could just blame Trump voters for voting wrong. | |
| Suffering's on you. | |
| Sorry, it's a national disaster. | |
| I mean, They're really close to the next time a tornado hits Oklahoma. | |
| They're really close to saying, well, they did nothing about climate change. | |
| Why should we send in FEMA? | |
| They voted against our climate change agenda, and the tornadoes just keep on happening in Kansas and Oklahoma. | |
| This is how these people think. | |
| Okay, email us, freedom at charliekirk.com, freedom at charliekirk.com. | |
| Okay, I want to get to, got a lot of questions here. | |
| Okay, yeah, this one right here. | |
| Charlie, why is the administration so focused on diversity? | |
| I don't care about it at all. | |
| I'm struggling to put food on the table for my family. | |
| When my kids get sick, I have to max up my credit cards for medicine. | |
| We're barely making ends meet. | |
| Meanwhile, illegals get treated better than I. | |
| I wonder if I was gay and black, I would have an easier time in America. | |
| Thanks so much. | |
| Now, you might laugh at that, but that's interesting, isn't it? | |
| Is there a certain prioritization being given in our country? | |
| Are we having upside down racism? | |
| Well, yeah, we've actually had it for a while. | |
| It's called affirmative action, which is one of the reasons I was just so taken back when Vivek said, just get rid of it. | |
| Just sign an executive order. | |
| The tweet that one of our followers, Scarlett Johnson, tweeted out, she said, Levine, a biological man who identifies as a woman, openly validates Charlie Kirk's assessment of woke neoliberalism. | |
| Now, in all fairness, I actually got this from Matt Walsh. | |
| I've changed some parts of it, but the essence and the bones are actually from Matt Walsh. | |
| I want to make sure the attribution is given to who actually is the brilliance behind this. | |
| But I've changed a couple of things of it, but he really was the one that inspired me in this. | |
| So, first, you must tolerate it, which was the tolerance campaign, and then you must accept it, and then you must celebrate it in the final stage of participation. | |
| You must participate. | |
| Notice how Levine goes through these stages, but omits the final stage of the indoctrination process, participation. | |
| Now, if you want to get really deep, do you actually read the Marxist literature? | |
| They talk about how children necessary to believe in Marxist ideas. | |
| Do you know what the word they use? | |
| They say widespread initiation. | |
| They said people will only believe in queer theory and all this nonsense through initiation exercises. | |
| That should send chills down your spine. | |
| Levine, cut 113. | |
| This whole thing is just such a mockery of the natural order. | |
| It's like a middle finger to everything we know to be good, true, and beautiful. | |
| It's a constant defiance to nature. | |
| Play cut 113. | |
| I call on you and all Pennsylvanians to work towards a spirit of not just tolerance, but a spirit of acceptance and welcoming towards LGBTQ individuals. | |
| We all need to foster that spirit of acceptance and welcoming to LGBTQ individuals and celebrate the wonderful diversity of our Commonwealth. | |
| Our children are watching. | |
| This is a recently unearthed clip from a couple years ago, I think, of Levine when Levine was still. | |
| What did Levine do before? | |
| I actually don't know all the history. | |
| But hey, let's just celebrate something. | |
| I understand you can't feed your family, pay your bills, buy a home. | |
| I understand that everyone's super depressed, anxious, suicidal. | |
| Crime is up. | |
| The border is open. | |
| We're involved in a proxy way overseas or overseas. | |
| The stock market is cratering and crashing. | |
| The economy is in tatters. | |
| But at least we have a lot of people of color and gay people serving in our government. | |
| Play cut 110. | |
| The cabinet is majority people of color for the first time in history. | |
| The cabinet is majority female for the first time in history. | |
| A majority of White House senior staff identify as female. | |
| 40% of White House senior staff identify as part of their racially diverse communities. | |
| And a record seven assistants to the presidents are openly LGBTQ. | |
| So, again, this is something that the president prides himself on. | |
| So, let me just say something somewhat controversial because it's the end of the week. | |
| So, Andrew, buckle up. | |
| If you were actually making the argument for diversity, you're doing a really bad job because this is the worst-run government in American history. | |
| If you actually, at your core, wanted to build consensus around more gay people and more people of color in government, this is the worst example that you could give. | |
| In fact, I would probably lay off of that. | |
| In fact, it would probably say, like, wow, the more you focus and emphasize on things that don't matter, the more your government starts to actually crumble and fall apart. | |
| In fact, diversity is not the strength of the Biden administration. | |
| Maybe diversity is your weakness. | |
| Maybe the fact you focus on diversity all the time actually makes you unable to do your job, like keep trains on tracks, like be able to administer basic services to the citizens, like to secure the border. | |
| And I know a lot of you say, Well, Charlie, come on, I thought you said it's America by intentional design. | |
| This is what is so maddening. | |
| Not only are they trying to do evil things, they're also incompetent in the basic things they're supposed to do. | |
| It's the worst of both worlds. | |
| I heard Republicans saying, Charlie, this is Gay Harris from Minnesota. | |
| I heard a good conservative politician say, all money Ukraine will have to be paid back. | |
| And there's any warheads manufactured they have to be made in America. | |
| If not, can you please check on it? | |
| I can't remember who said that. | |
| I have seen no evidence of that. | |
| You're trying to tell me Ukraine's going to be on a repayment package? | |
| Yeah, they'll be on a 1,000-year repayment package. | |
| It'll never happen. | |
| Well, over $115 to $200 billion. | |
| Anywhere between that. | |
| We don't know the number. | |
| It's just a guess. | |
| While our own country falls apart, Donald Trump ran on America first. | |
| This is exactly the type of thing that he was opposing, precisely the type of thing that he was going against. | |
| I'm going to play some tape here of some of the commentary on Ukraine as we are now over a year into this quagmire. | |
| Our government is doing nothing to try to negotiate peace, nothing to try to negotiate peace. | |
| China is pushing for peace. | |
| Play cut 111. | |
| Now, news broke tonight that China will be rolling out a peace proposal tomorrow morning. | |
| My reaction to this is: how sad is it that a brutal regime like China will be the leader in brokering the peace deal that we desperately need? | |
| Something that we probably could have done, I don't know, nine or ten months ago. | |
| Obviously, we could have done it. | |
| Our government doesn't want it. | |
| We are stoking the flame of the conflict. | |
| We are accelerating it. | |
| We're not trying to broker any peace. | |
| Why would we? | |
| It's too profitable for us. | |
| Charlie, what do you think about Nikki Haley's candidacy? | |
| The media seems to really go after her. | |
| Well, I'm not supporting Nikki Haley for president. | |
| She's welcome on this program. | |
| I'd love to talk to her. | |
| Let's go to Cut 85. | |
| This ridiculous attack on Nikki Haley, though, should go responded to. | |
| Wajahati Ali, it's quite a name, attacking Nikki Haley, play cut 85. | |
| She uses her brown skin as a weapon against poor black folks and poor brown folks, and she uses her brown skin to launder white supremacist talking points. | |
| And the reason why I feel sad is because no matter what she does, Mehdi, it'll never be enough. | |
| They'll never love her. | |
| Yeah, that's CNN. | |
| CNN's spending a lot of time on Nikki Haley, and they're being awfully cruel. | |
| And that's who the left is. | |
| They're deeply unhappy people. | |
| Let's go to this cut here, which is a separate one. | |
| I did want to cover this. | |
| Cut 65. | |
| It's about social media companies, PlayCut 65. | |
| The problem here is that the world has changed. | |
| And so to your point, Joe, now you have companies that are actually not journalistic organizations that are disseminating information, some of it factual, some of it dangerous, some of it hate speech. | |
| And they essentially have no responsibility. | |
| I don't think we can allow it to go on as it has, where there's no consequences. | |
| This is why we have to be very careful how we approach the social media issue. | |
| With Elon Musk now owning Twitter, Rumble ascending, and other competitors coming out there, Democrats are going to then take basically take the offer from Republicans. | |
| Sure, let's go restrict social media companies. | |
| They're not going to restrict the size or the power. | |
| No, no, no, no. | |
| They want to put rules that conservatives can't speak openly and freely on these social media companies. | |
| As much as we rightfully are able to complain and expose, believe it or not, Democrats are still saying that there's too much misinformation and disinformation on these social media companies. | |

|
| Pete Buttigieg tried to say that before he overheated, before he just combusted. | |
| He couldn't handle it. | |
