What Happened to Damar Hamlin + Kevin McCarthy's Battle Royale with Dr. Robert Malone

An unbelievable tragedy took place during the NFL's final Monday Night Football broadcast, when Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed after a routine play. Charlie shares his condolences and explains why he responded the way he did on Twitter, before digging into whether Hamlin's collapse might be related to the NFL's vaccine mandate. Dr. Robert Malone, co-inventor of mRNA technology, joins Charlie to dissect the incident and provide some clarity. Then, Charlie dives straight into the biggest news of the day: The bruising battle to be the next Speaker of the House.Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
In just a second, we'll have Dr. Robert Malone on the program to help unpack the tragic situation that unfolded that I happen to see live on Monday night football last evening of a football game that turned into a life or death situation.
And so let me just read the tweet.
It's been viewed over 10 million times.
I was ridiculed and attacked by everybody from Adam Kinzinger on down.
And here's the tweet.
This is a tragic and all too familiar site right now.
Athletes dropping suddenly.
That was my tweet.
And people thought that I was being a conspiracy theorist.
I was attacked.
In fact, Newsweek wrote an article that said, I am human garbage this morning.
And that's, I guess, that's their opinion.
I did not, I don't know what happened.
All I know is I am thankful, praise God, that DeMar Hamlin looks to be in better condition.
And praise God that there were medics just feet away.
And it is true.
It is tragic and all too familiar that athletes are dropping suddenly.
And I suppose saying that and saying that there is a pattern that seems to be emerging across the planet gets you to be attacked from every possible direction.
With us right now is Dr. Robert Malone.
Dr. Malone, I don't know what happened.
I don't think anybody knows yet, but you believe that just immediately trying to, let's just say, drop a label on that situation last evening is as irresponsible as just saying that, you know, there's no such thing as vaccine injuries.
What is your take on the tragic situation that unfolded yesterday on Monday night football?
So, Charlie, I'm sorry that you've been subjected to this.
My heart goes out to you as somebody who has also received these types of attacks from corporate media and from, let's say, these tribal reactionary forces, because that's really what they are.
I had not read your tweet.
I'm very glad that you read it.
It is completely innocuous.
It actually takes, as far as I'm concerned, a very responsible position.
The documentation for the cause unknown sudden cardiac deaths increases is abundantly covered in Ed Dowd's book called Cause Unknown.
And of course, Ed is a friend, but I don't have any financial stake, so there's no COI.
I strongly recommend that people get a copy of Cause Unknown and make their own assessment.
The position that is being advocated by the press, of course, is the one that's most favorable to the vaccine campaigns and initiatives and to the interests of the large pharmaceutical companies now Moderna and of course Pfizer.
And that is that this would be a case of comito cordis.
And comitocortis is absolutely a valid element in the differential diagnosis for this case, unfortunately.
However, it is a very rare condition.
It's typically seen in baseball players that take a strike over precisely the right place in their heart.
And it is very constrained.
It's very difficult to cause this experimentally in, say, a pig model.
You have to use a hard baseball, not a larger or softer baseball.
That's how precise it is.
And it has to be in a specific place.
So I think that one should appropriately review the footage of the strike that occurred, the tackle or the block that occurred.
Because normally this would not be something that could be elicited in a football event unless there was, that's American football, unless there was an elbow thrown or something like that, right precisely at the right place of the heart.
And it requires pre-existing conditions in the athlete.
It is absolutely more prevalent in young male athletes, but it's rarely, if ever, seen.
I'm not aware of any reports of it occurring in American football due to a block or tackle.
It's typically a very hard strike, like a fastball right over the heart.
So what I conclude from this is that if the team's sports physician had missed the known pre-existing conditions, all of which pretty much could have been detected in this young man, then that's a case of medical malfeasance, perhaps.
He would have been taken off the field and not allowed to continue his career if he had one of these conditions.
So I have to assume because of the nature, how much money is involved, how rigorous sports medicine is right now for professional athletes, that those pre-existing conditions were ruled out.
So then we've got two strikes against the logic that this is comitocortis.
It's unlikely that the gentleman had the preexisting condition, and it's highly unlikely that a tackle or block, unless it involved a swung elbow at exactly the right place, could have triggered this.
So in sum, I think that we do, as you say, have to acknowledge this outbreak of excess mortality from sudden death, predominantly in younger male athletes.
And we're seeing it, for instance, in commonly, well, I won't say commonly, but unusually frequently in the game that the rest of the world calls football that we call soccer.
And those cases do not involve a strike to the chest.
So now Ryan Cole speaks at length about the data that's come in that these lipid nanoparticles, for whatever reason, seem to have a predilection for the atrial ventricular node and some of the conducting tissue in the heart.
And we do seem to see this damage occurring.
It has a known physiologic basis having to do with the pharmacology of the product.
It is happening in young male adults that have not had a strike over their chest.
And I have to conclude from this that we have a differential diagnosis to be a responsible physician.
It includes comitocortis.
Unusual Patterns and Diagnosis 00:02:45
Nothing you said had was in any way wrong, near as I can discern.
Well, thank you.
It was entirely appropriate.
And we have to say, if I was to rank the differential diagnosis based on the little bits of information we have, I would have to conclude that the probability is higher that this is a vaccine-damaged-related case rather than comitocortis, which is what all the press is rushing to, in which I think it's even more irresponsible to rush to that diagnosis and exclude any mention of the possibility of this being vaccine damage-associated disease.
Over?
Yeah, so I want to just ask the question of: is this happening with disturbing frequency across the country and across the world?
And it seems as if the data that has been compiled is that there are a lot of athletes that are just dropping dead or dropping suddenly, especially younger athletes.
And that is when you start to see patterns, that's when you should just take pause and hopefully that inquiry will lead you closer to the truth.
And thank you, by the way, Dr. Malone, for those warm words.
The tweet was viewed 10 million times for saying something that I thought was rather obvious, that it's tragic and innocuous.
Absolutely.
There's nothing, I see nothing wrong in your statement at all.
The error is on those that are attacking you.
That is over the top and inappropriate.
And you should have a conversation with your lawyer and we'll just leave it at that.
Rents are soaring at unprecedented highs.
If you're renting or have a friend or family member, that is now a great time to make the move to homeownership.
Look, you got to own renting, that's great reset stuff.
Andrew Del Rey and Todd of Akian at Sierra Pacific Mortgage have helped so many people make that leap from renting to owning with lots of programs that offer first-time buyers assistance with little to no down payment needed.
I encourage you right now to visit my buddies, their website.
They're great guys.
They're Christians.
They're conservatives.
They love the Lord.
AndrewandTodd.com right now.
The thing I love about these guys is it's not about the transaction.
They're helping you create a plan to help you reach your goals.
Give them a call or go to their website, AndrewandTodd.com.
With today's still historically low interest rates, it's easier than you think to become a homeowner.
I've relied on them and producer Andrew has as well.
I highly recommend you take action now.
And if you knew someone paying rent, tell them about Andrew and Todd.
Go to andrewandodd.com and tell them the Charlie Kirk Show sent you.
Rising Myocarditis Signals 00:05:00
Dr. Malone, part of the reasons I tweeted what I did is that we are seeing a disturbing pattern.
When you start to see an unusual pattern, you should notice that pattern and ask questions.
Dr. Malone, can you add some detail or some context to this pattern that we are seeing of healthy young people, particularly young men, that are in athletics or otherwise, that are dropping suddenly with previously unexplained health conditions?
Well, Charlie, I think in another life, you must have been a pathologist because you got a dead on.
We should look for signal.
And once we observe signal, then we should do further investigations.
That's the responsible position to take in medicine.
And unfortunately, we've had an effort to block any autopsies being performed that could help us get to the bottom of this.
The pattern is clear and apparent that there are these unexplained excess deaths, which have all the signs and symptoms of cardiac deaths that are occurring all over the world.
And we have the very clear documentation of myocarditis, which has a long-term mortality rate that's non-trivial.
So in this myocarditis, clinically, is at the frequency of about one in 2,000 to 1 in 3,000, multiple papers documenting this.
But what's not often recognized is that clinical myocarditis that brings you to the hospital or to a doctor is just the tip of the iceberg.
And that heart does not heal.
It scars.
And when it scars, it creates this problem of electrical misconductivity that sets up ventricular fibrillation, which appears to be one of the causes of these sudden deaths, the other one being stroke.
So we have a path of, the word is pathophysiologic basis for this.
We understand that there's a toxicity associated with these products that gives this particular clinical outcome.
And we are seeing this clinical outcome all over the world, more often in younger men, often in high-performance athletes at periods where they're under stress.
And very, very few of these are associated with chest impacts, which would be the differential diagnosis for the comitocortis syndrome that this particular case is attributed to.
So I, again, to reinforce, as far as I'm concerned, you've been defamed maliciously.
And that's a bigger issue is how come we have these laws on the books like Sullivan versus New York that allows the press to defame and slander at will public figures.
This is not right, and it has to stop.
Well, I agree.
So just to play devil's advocate, some people say, well, Charlie, what we are suffering from is confirmation bias, that we're so in the echo chamber that if we see somebody who collapses on a field, we immediately think the thing that we're most passionate about.
What would your counter argument to that be?
That's always a risk, but there's also a risk of underdiagnosis.
And I think that your position of when you see an unusual signal, which is now well documented globally, this excess all-cause mortality, as well as these sudden death events at a much higher frequency than occurred before, then you have to move forward with some hypotheses about the cause.
And the hypothesis that most closely fits the data is that we are having cardiac damage associated with these products that express the spike protein at very high levels.
Over.
Very good.
Dr. Malone, it's important that the audience knows that you're also the inventor of the mRNA technology.
So you know something about this.
And one of the things that got my attention early on was a conversation you had with Brett Weinstein on the Dark Horse podcast, where you did mention, and this was before there was any macro data, you said, look, I invented this technology.
And one of the things we will probably see is increases in myocarditis and pericarditis in young men.
And tragically and unfortunately, Dr. Malone, that hypothesis and that prediction is proving to be true.
Dr. Malone, thank you for being generous with your time today.
God bless you.
Thank you.
Thank you, Charlie, and keep being brave.
Thank you.
Talk to you soon.
Charlie Kirk here.

Let's get to the Speaker of the House race.
Okay, so this could be awfully confusing and understandably.
So here's the essence.
Right now, as of 30 minutes ago, the previous Congress is done.
It's over.
What number Congress are we on now?
I can't remember.
I think it's one something.
I always get it confused.
So the old Congress is over with.
Now, the first kind of business item for a new Congress is not even to swear in representatives, it's to elect a Speaker of the House.
And so the Speaker of the House, based on the math that the House is built on, requires 218 votes.
It requires 218 votes.
This is 118th Congress.
Okay, this is the 118th Congress in the history of America.
So this is Kevin McCarthy.
Asked last evening, are the speaker votes locked in?
Play cut one.
We're going to do the votes for speaker locked in tomorrow.
I think we're going to have a good day tomorrow.
What are your conversations like in that matter?
Good to see you.
Are people here to make more concessions in exchange for courts?
Hope you all have a very nice New Year's.
So they said, Do you have all the speaker votes locked in?
And he said, I hope you had a very nice New Year's.
So as it seems today, Scott Perry, who is the chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, has said that they are going to withhold 15 to 20 votes from Kevin McCarthy this speaker vote session.
So basically, they all go to the House of Representatives floor.
They say, This is now, they gavel in, even though there's no speaker to gavel in.
And they say, the 118th Congress is now in session.
We will now take nominations for a speaker.
And so Maxine Waters will scream from the back of the room and she will say, I nominate Hakeem Jeffries.
And they are going to say, okay, anybody else?
And then somebody will say, I nominate Kevin McCarthy.
And Matt Gates will stand up and he'll say, I nominate Jim Jordan.
Then the round of voting will ensue.
And they'll go roll name by name and they go alphabetical order.
And so there's 435 names to go through.
So they'll say Representative Boeber and Representative Gates and Representative Good.
And they'll go one by one by one.
And if a nominee for speaker fails to reach 218 votes, the House will go into recess and they'll do it again.
And they'll say, We need more nominations.
Now, for some of you, say, yes, a lot of you in this audience, I read your emails, I see the chat on Real America's Voice.
Very anti-Kevin McCarthy in this audience.
Okay, so that's the perspective of the audience.
So, but here's the risk, and it's a very legitimate risk.
By saying we are not going to have a Republican speaker, regardless of the concessions, you are now seeing several uniparty candidates say, I'm going to go caucus with Democrats.
Don Bacon is doing this.
Justin Amash is doing this.
Democrats are now working overtime that after this first round of vote fails, basically to steal the House of Representatives from Republicans because they cannot get their act together and get behind a certain candidate.
This is Representative Bob Good saying Kevin McCarthy is part of the problem.
Play cut two.
Is there any scenario under which you could support and vote for Kevin McCarthy?
No, I won't be voting for Kevin McCarthy tomorrow.
He's part of the problem.
He's not part of the solution.
I'll be following the will of my constituents, the voters of Virginia's 5th District, who hundreds of which have told me over the past couple of years not to support Kevin McCarthy.
What I told them when I started my first term two years ago is I would judge him by what he did as minority leader.
And there's nothing he's done to earn my vote.
There's nothing that indicates to me that he's going to change his pattern since he's been in leadership.
So that is the perspective of, it's an unknown amount, but it could be anywhere to be 10 to 15 people.
The leader of this, the most vocal leader, has been Matt Gates, friend of the program and great American patriot, play cut 15.
Those of us who will not be voting for Kevin McCarthy today take no joy in this discomfort that this moment has brought.
But if you want to drain the swamp, you cannot put the biggest alligator in charge of the exercise.
We offered Kevin McCarthy terms last evening that he rejected.
And all we got was a handful of howdy and a mouthful of much obliged.
So we do not want to be here at this moment.
We would prefer to have a unity of purpose, but we will not continue to allow the Uniparty to run this town without a fight.
So look, here's the issue, is that currently Democrat operatives, especially the more moderate wing of the Democrat Party, they're already starting to angle to say, how can we take back the House, even though the American people delivered the House to Republicans?
So let me tell you what that would mean.
That would mean equal representation on committees.
So Democrats could kill subpoenas.
That would mean no investigation into Mayorkas, no investigation into Merrick Garland.
That would mean no investigation into Joe Biden.
That would mean no investigation into any of the organizations that we have seen into Twitter, into Jack Dorsey.
Democrats, by a single vote, would have equal representation on committees.
And by having a uniparty, it would basically effectively destroy the United States House of Representatives being in the Republican direction.
Let's go to cut five.
McCarthy lacking the majority to become speaker, even though he has the most support.
This could be one of the most chaotic scenes in congressional history, something that has not happened in 100 years.
A couple weeks ago, we warned that this could happen.
And many of you in the audience said, you know what, I think it's a good thing that we are going to put this into bedlam, that we need to take that risk.
Our position on this program is, boy, we didn't win a lot this midterm cycle.
One of the few things we did win was the House.
You want to do this, circus?
I hope you have a plan.
Play cut five.
This could be one of the most chaotic scenes in congressional history, something not seen in 100 years.
Kevin McCarthy lacks an outright majority of the entire House to become Speaker.
He has the most support, but that's not enough due to the opposition of at least five Republicans and perhaps more.
At least five Republicans and perhaps more.
So here's where we're at.
And someone says, emailed us.
They said, Charlie, if we lose the House because of this clown show, I'm going to lose my mind.
Well, that's a possibility now.
Someone says, you are a traitor for supporting little Kevin McCarthy.
You guys are all wrong saying the core will cause problems for Republicans.
Okay, well, look, I'm not even saying I support Kevin McCarthy.
I'm asking, what is the plan?
And putting the entire House of Representatives race into suspense, not the House of Representatives, the entire House of Representatives into suspense, that's an issue.
Maybe not.
Maybe you say, you know what?
Let's just put it all on the line.
Let's risk it.
Okay.
Well, Representative Boebert says this in cut 16.
Kevin McCarthy was taking the path of Nancy Pelosi and following her precedence with the motion to vacate.
We want to change the way things are done here.
We didn't offer up a personal wish list.
And so now here we are being sworn at instead of being sworn in.
I have been working every day to unify the Republican Party for the American people.
And yesterday, we had a deal that was not a selfish deal in any way for Kevin McCarthy to get him the gavel on the first ballot.
And he eagerly dismissed us.
Okay, I want your thoughts.
I want to listen to you, the audience.
Are you confident that going into suspense, there will be a House vote?
It'll take about 45 minutes to go through all 435 names after the nominations.
Are you comfortable with that process?
Because I could tell you right now, Don Bacon, who's a moderate from Nebraska and many other moderates, are saying that if McCarthy fails, they're willing to go right immediately, go caucus with Democrats and bring this to a Congress with equal representation, Republican and Democrat on committees, effectively eliminating a House majority.
Maybe you say, oh, that's not going to happen.
That's just fear-mongering.
Okay.
Well, that's what Don Bacon has said.
He has a plan to do it.
And many other moderate Republicans say they are ready to go caucus with Democrats to eliminate the Republican majority.
I want your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
How much confidence do you have in what is now going to be the first in 100-year suspense?
Kevin McCarthy is getting a little snippy.
Cut 19.
Let's play cut 19, please.
I have the record for the longest speech ever on the floor.
I don't have a problem getting a record for the most votes for Speaker 2.
Thank you all.
Well, I don't see how a few people, maybe it's five, maybe it's 20, sit because they want a gavel that they can't earn by the conference of themselves.
That would be interesting to me.
That's not what the constituents voted him for.
Let's go to this one right here.
Cut nine, CNN says, look, reality is setting in.
Republicans will take control of the chamber, and they plan to do investigations into the Biden administration.
But if you can't elect the speaker, there will be no investigations into anything effectively eliminating the House majority.
Play cut nine.
Here in Washington this week, reality is going to set in quickly.
On Tuesday, House Republicans will take control of the chamber and try to elect a speaker.
And that could take a while.
House Republicans are also planning to launch a slate of investigations into the Biden administration as Washington begins to adjust to divided government.
Someone says, Charlie, you need to, let's just say, grow something.
There isn't enough a difference between Hakeem and Kevin.
Same old story, either a Marxist or a Marxist light.
Stop.
Frank, I appreciate the passion.
That is just not true.
You could have your complaints with Kevin McCarthy, but some of the concessions that were starting to be made were actually rather significant.
Marjorie Taylor Green on oversight, investigations into Fauci, Hunter Biden, FBI, Jim Jordan, all of those are greenlit if you have Kevin McCarthy as speaker.
Hakeem Jeffries, not so much.
In fact, it would be the opposite, not to mention what's happening on the southern border.
This is what someone says here.
Charlie, Republicans need to be patient.
Inaction and complacency on the part of American conservatives have led us to this precarious place in the House with such a slim margin.
Rome was not built in a day.
Go with McCarthy for now and build together on the slight but important edge that we have at the moment.
Think about it.
A wave takes persistent energy.
Linda.
Okay, that is certainly not a majority opinion.
Someone says, Charlie, so what are you saying?
Vote McCarthy in or take the risk that they're trying to change.
I think you have to use prudence.
Sometimes in life, you have situations in front of you that are less than desirable.
My advice to Gates and Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Green, Bob Goode, Scott Perry, and the others is get as many concessions in writing, irrefutably, and take what you possibly can.
Someone says here, well, Charlie, what about Matt Gates as Speaker of the House?
That's not going to happen.
Someone says, what about Andy Biggs for Speaker of the House?
I love Andy Biggs.
That's not going to happen.
And so look, the process is unfolding.
There are going to be other nominees.
There are going to be other people floated for Speaker of the House.
And it does put this into suspense and put this into a place of the unknown.
Now, some people say, well, Charlie, there's another shadow candidate that is going to rise.
Is that Jim Jordan?
Is it Steve Scalise?
Now, some of you say, oh, yeah, I'd rather have Steve Scalise than Kevin McCarthy.
Okay, do you know that Steve Scalise refused to endorse Harriet Hageman against Liz Cheney, and Kevin McCarthy did?
Kevin McCarthy opposed Liz Cheney.
Steve Scalise stayed neutral.
Be careful what you wish for.
You might say, oh, Steve Scalise is better than Kevin McCarthy.
He's way closer with Liz Cheney than Kevin McCarthy is.
Kevin McCarthy had a public and very tumultuous falling out with Kinzinger and Cheney.
Scalise stayed warm with them.
Oh, I hate Kevin McCarthy.
Fine.
I hear you guys.
I see your emails.
But then Scalise is up next, who's worse than Kevin.
I want your thoughts.
Email me freedom at charliekirk.com and subscribe to the Charlie Kirk show podcast.
Someone says here, Charlie, it doesn't matter if we lose the House.
We need to risk it all.
Investigations don't matter.
D.C. courts won't convict anyone.
We need a conservative speaker or we should just let Hakeem take over.
Okay.
That's the perspective I think of most of the Republican conservative base.
Burn it all down.
I'm more interested in hopefully building something so that we can have a little bit of leverage and a little bit of success overseeing the fourth branch of government.
I would love to see Jim Jordan and Marjorie Taylor Green on committees being able to have a green light of oversight of the most corrupt and failed administration.
So email us your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
Today could be the day the House of Representatives goes to the Democrats or stays in Republican hands.
I hope there's a plan.
Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
Thank you so much for listening and God bless.
