Charlie has had an interesting few days. He's coming off a trip to the University of New Mexico, where a heavily-triggered ANTIFA mob engaged in wild clashes with riot police. Charlie unpacks the eventful night and discusses some of the key moments from their irrational meltdown. Then, he discusses another very triggered individual, California State Senator Scott Wiener, who is angry about being called out for some of the most egregious gender and sex laws in the country...so angry, in fact, that he might be manufacturing fake death threats against himself.Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Violent Protests at UNM00:04:22
Hey everybody, today in the Charlie Kirk show, my visit to University of New Mexico and also my feud with a very freakish state senator from California.
Very interesting story.
Email me your thoughts as alwaysfreedom at charliekirk.com.
Come to AmericaFest, amfest.com, amfest.com.
Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, Greg Gutfeld, and more will be in Phoenix, Arizona, amfest.com.
That is amfest.com.
Email me as alwaysfreedom at charliekirk.com.
Buckle up everybody here.
We go.
Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
I want to thank Charlie.
He's an incredible guy.
His spirit, his love of this country.
He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
Turning point USA.
We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
That's why we are here.
Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
It was a very interesting evening last night, University of New Mexico in the great city of Albuquerque.
Wonderful people there, even though they weren't too thrilled to see me.
Some people weren't thrilled to see me.
You know, it's very interesting.
We had this campus event brought by our Turning Point USA chapter last night, and the police did a great job.
They did the best job they could to deal with these, what I believe to be professional agitators and paid protesters.
What we saw last night is just another example of exactly what happens when you have an entire generation that lacks meaning.
There were well over 150 to 200 protesters, many of whom got violent with riot police, that were preventing our students from being able to gain entrance into the event.
That's right.
They were locking arms, blocking the door.
They deterred at least 50 of our people.
It kind of felt almost like voting on election day in Maricopa County.
People just turned away and they said, I don't want to deal with it.
They said, yeah, I don't want to deal with this.
They saw the bedlam and the agitators, the terrorists, really is what they are.
They said their goal was to cancel the event.
Their goal was to not allow us to be able to have an event focused on American exceptionalism, the Constitution, freedom, and liberty.
But you might say, Charlie, why did you pick the University of New Mexico?
Well, we had two other events brought to you by our Turning Point USA chapter at the University of New Mexico, Tommy Larin and Ian Hayworth, that both had their events canceled and disrupted by these people.
And strictly out of principle, I get very angry, and you should too, when students are not allowed to have a conservative event peacefully on an American college campus.
I don't care if it's in New Mexico.
I don't care if it's in New Haven.
I don't care if it's in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
This is America.
We're not going to put up with this.
And so we went to great expense, both with our time and resources, to make a point that the Antifa, the mask, the violent left-wing mob at University of New Mexico is not going to win this semester.
And they got very angry.
They got very angry and came out in big numbers.
They got violent with police, as I mentioned.
They try to prevent students from coming into our event.
Despite that, we had a wonderful event.
Here's just some of the tape.
Just to give you a little bit of a taste of what we're dealing with, let's go to, let's just go to cut 87.
Just a little bit of the vulgarity of these people.
Play cut 87.
What do you think about the cops?
What do you think about the cops?
Rather nasty.
Let's play cut than 89 when the riot police showed up.
Play cut 89.
And this altercation continued for quite a while.
Speech vs Force Debate00:12:16
Now, what's hilarious is that when they were asked who I was, many of them did not even know what they were protesting.
They're obviously paid.
It's totally synthetic.
Play cut 86.
What does this have to do with women having rights?
That fool is trying to take the women's rights away.
Like, like abortion?
Like, come on, bro.
Like, if a woman got raped or molested and she don't want the baby, what are you going to do?
Make her have the baby or what?
Well, who's stopping women's rights?
Whoever that fool is.
I forgot his name.
Keelson?
Or whatever his name is?
They don't even know who I am.
Very typical.
But it really does beg the question is, what kind of society do you want to live in?
There's two ways that you can govern or you could design a society.
You can have a society based on speech or a society based on force.
If you have a society based on force, that's what ends up happening.
We're going to prevent you from going to a campus lecture.
We are going to prevent you from being able to speak freely.
We're going to prevent you from being able to congregate on a college campus.
Speech, as Aristotle would say, we are the speaking beings, is all that separates us from the beasts.
The ability to speak is our ability to reason.
You see, as human beings, we're able to participate in what could be called the common noun miracle.
We're able to ascribe meaning to the physical world.
Speech is not a left-wing value.
It never has been.
Speech is not something that we are teaching our children to value.
Instead, they believe speech is a symptom of white supremacy.
And you might be watching this and you might laugh and you say, oh, that's just silly.
I mean, come on.
A vast majority of young people, once they go to college, believe that you should be able to use force to silence people that you disagree with if they are participating in hate speech.
Everything that we talk about on this program is mislabeled by the left as hate speech.
It is an ability to censor, shut up, suffocate, and suppress dissent and opposing ideas.
And thankfully, we still have a semblance and a sliver of a First Amendment in our country.
You see, the solution should be more free speech.
What's so interesting is I wanted to invite every single one of those protesters into our event.
Let's have a conversation.
Let's have dialogue.
They don't believe in conversation.
They think dialogue and conversation, the ability to exchange ideas, is fallow logocentric, as Jacques Derrida would say.
It is participating in the problem, is that if you want to try and deconstruct white supremacy, which they think they're fighting for, then speech must not be allowed.
It is nothing more than power.
And this goes into a deeper and a more troubling theme of what is taught on American college campuses, which is you are not an individual.
You are a member of a collective identity group.
You see, if you're not an individual, why would you have a right to speech?
If you're not an individual, why do you have a right to privacy?
This is the way the CCP views things, by the way.
What made the American founding fundamentally different is recognizing your moral worth as an individual.
Now, obviously and undeniably, the American founders knew or they believed that you have an individual that you're an individual that has value because you're made in the image of God.
You have a soul.
Now, you may believe that or you may not believe that, but they did write very explicitly in the declaration that we are tied to the laws of nature and nature is God.
And we do yield to the supreme being of the universe.
All that put aside.
If you are not an individual and you're just a member of the collective group, then all that matters then is power.
And for the professional agitators last evening, they didn't want to come into the event and ask me questions, of which we always invite disagreement to go to the front of the line at Turning Point USA.
Come to the front of the line.
Let's have a conversation.
Tell me why I am wrong.
It's a rule that we have a turning point.
We invite the discourse.
We invite the disagreement.
No, no, no, no.
They would rather get violent with police and prevent the students from coming in altogether because they don't look at speech as a solution.
They think speech is the problem.
They think that America is racist and bigot and homophobic because of free speech, because of the ability to reason.
The only way that you're able to push back against this is to do exactly what our courageous students at Turning Point USA did last evening in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and what we did, which is you must show up and expose it and not let them win.
They think speech is violence.
We believe speech is moral.
Even if you say something objectionable, let's have a conversation about it.
Let's have a collision of ideas.
Let's find out who's right.
You can either be governed by speech or by force.
The left wants to have us live in a country where force, the plutocrats control everything.
I'm going to fight with everything I have, and so is Turning Point USA to remain committed to resolving our differences through reason and dialogue and rational speech.
Look, I'm still young.
I hear there's something very sobering that happens when you're over 50 years old.
It's that magical age when you realize you better start taking care of yourself or else.
So many people are being put off being proactive about helping their bodies stay healthy.
Most young people feel immortal until their aging bodies start complaining.
I'm not waiting until I'm 50 to make smart choices with my health.
But even if you have waited too long, it's never too late to do the right thing.
And balance of nature is one of the easiest right things you'll ever do.
I take balance of nature's fruits and vegetables in a capsule sourced from 31 whole fruits and veggies each day.
Are you over 50 and you're starting to feel it?

Somebody said, Charlie, were any of your students assaulted?
I don't think so.
However, the leader of our chapter at University of New Mexico, she says she gets spit on at least every couple days on campus.
She has been doxxed, threatened, followed on campus.
It happens all the time, unfortunately, with our Turning Point USA chapter leaders.
And God bless them.
They don't play the victim.
They keep fighting.
They say, let's do a bigger event.
Let's show these people that we're not going to be intimidated.
You know, I got an email here.
Someone says, you know, Charlie, what are you doing?
Stop just hosting your radio show.
Okay, well, first, first of all, we host our radio program and our show every morning, and then we actually do stuff.
We're on Paced Hit 1,000 high school chapters at Turning Point USA.
We're going to campuses that we are not invited to.
We're doing a lot.
And I'm very proud.
I'm very thankful for the work that our students are doing at Turning Point USA.
It was a war zone last night.
You have people in riot gear looking as if they're ready to prevent Floyd of Palooza.
And by the way, what we are doing is working.
Despite all the propaganda you see in the media, did you know that young people are 13% less liberal than they were five years ago, according to Morning Consult?
15% less liberal.
I'm sorry, 13% less liberal.
13%.
They're also one point more conservative.
The macro trends, thanks to the work that Turning Point Action and Turning Point USA is doing, is working.
It's the most important fight for the long-term generational health of America.
Let's play Cut 102, just to give you a little taste of the war zone that an American college campus became last night.
Play Cup 102.
That's a little bit of a taste there.
And then, by the way, there's other footage too, but it's fine, showing the actual cameo of their energy, their vulgarity.
Someone said here, Charlie, what do they want?
It's a really interesting question.
They don't know.
Some of them are paid, obviously.
I think most of them are.
You know, when I made a video last night, what I should have said is I should have asked the question: how many of these people that come out on a weeknight with signs that are full of swear words saying we must stamp out white supremacy to prevent other people to go to the event?
How many of them believe in God, have a meaningful relationship, and would describe themselves as happy?
GK Chesterton has one of my favorite quotes.
He said, when people stop believing in God, they don't believe in nothing.
They'll believe in anything.
What you see in those clips, people banging on drums and getting in fights with police is they're trying to find meaning in their life.
And for a short period of time, they think that they are doing good.
We're fighting white supremacy.
That evil Charlie Kirk is coming on campus.
Look how good of a person I am.
It gives them a little bit of a shot of dopamine.
I'm such a good person.
That doesn't give you meaning.
No, we have an existential crisis in our country, and you can see it manifested right there where you have people that try to, they pursue all these fake religions.
Protesting is one of the most religious ceremonies of the radical left.
It's their equivalent of taking the Eucharist.
Look at us.
We're such a great person.
We're going to stop them.
We are on the right side of history.
These college campuses have become islands of totalitarianism.
I do want to thank the University of New Mexico for allowing us to come.
Again, the police did a great job.
But you know how many people were turned away from our event because the violent activists literally prevented them from walking through the door?
Victor Frankl had one of the great books ever, Man's Search for Meaning.
Boy, this generation is looking for meaning.
You remove God from people's lives.
Don't be surprised when they start to fill that void with all of these synthetic, artificial, dangerous, poisonous, and arsenic-filled worldviews.
Rents are soaring at unprecedented highs.
If you're renting or have a friend or family member, that is, now is a great time to make the move to homeownership.
Look, you got to own renting, that's great reset stuff.
Andrew Del Rey and Todd Avakian at Sierra Pacific Mortgage have helped so many people make that leap from renting to owning with lots of programs that offer first-time buyers assistance with little to no down payment needed.
I encourage you right now to visit my buddies, their website.
They're great guys, they're Christians, they're conservatives, they love the Lord.
AndrewandTodd.com right now.
The thing I love about these guys is it's not about the transaction.
They're helping you create a plan to help you reach your goals.
Give them a call or go to their website, AndrewandTodd.com.
With today's still historically low interest rates, it's easier than you think to become a homeowner.
Debating Weiner Death Threats00:11:05
I've relied on them, and producer Andrew has as well.
I highly recommend you take action now.
And if you know someone paying rent, tell them about Andrew and Todd.
Go to AndrewandTodd.com and tell them the Charlie Kirk Show sent you.
Okay, so in the news recently, there has been a focus on California and laws in California that have been inexcusably and undeniably configured to pander to the alphabet mafia and to pedophiles.
There is a driving force of these horrific pieces of legislation in California, a man by the name of Scott Weiner.
Now, Scott Weiner brags on social media that he is part of the LGBTQ caucus in the California legislature.
So Scott Weiner has written and now passed some of the more controversial pieces of legislation that are honestly so disgusting it's hard to even comprehend them.
So let's go to the facts about Scott Weiner.
So Scott Weiner wrote Senate Bill 107, which is the California's new trans refuge law.
Basically, a parent can take their child, or in other words, kidnap their child, bring them to California, and says that their child can now receive medical mutilation and chemical castration if it's illegal somewhere else.
California will take their side and protect them.
He also co-authored Senate Bill 239, which lowered the penalty.
This is really bizarre.
Why would he do this?
Lowered the penalty for exposing someone to HIV without their knowledge and consent from a felony to a misdemeanor.
So this guy is allegedly a spokesperson and a fighter for the gay lobby in California.
Well, shouldn't you want to prevent the transmission of HIV if you're really, if you really care about what's happening in that community?
No, he wants it now to be a misdemeanor to knowingly, knowingly expose somebody else to HIV.
This sick and twisted freak also co-authored Senate Bill 179, which creates a non-binary gender option on government documents, which passed in 2018.
He also authored, as you can tell, you know, with California's pension system on the rails, the economy not where it should be, massive budget deficit, the border wide open, kids can't read in California schools.
What this guy is so focused on is these incredibly fringe, bizarre issues.
Okay.
He also helped write, he authored Bill 219, which made it a crime for caregivers to use the wrong pronoun for a person, punishing them with a fine or up to 180 days in jail.
So if you misgender somebody, Scott Weiner wants to be able to put you in jail.
He also authored bill, Senate Bill 145, which reduces the number of people going on the California sex offender registry by making it optional for certain offenses.
Another way to also understand Senate Bill 145 is an effective decriminalization of pedophilia.
He doesn't just pass laws on these topics.
He co-authored a bill that tried to force Donald Trump to publish their private tax returns to appear on the ballot in California.
So Scott Weiner was all in on this.
We exposed it on social media.
And so what we did is we exposed that he was the author of the pedophile release bill in California.
The Daily Mail, to their great credit, was one of the first people to really expose it.
He's been behind every gross and sex gender bill in California.
He is the author.
He is the source.
He claims he's a victim because we expose him.
He claimed he's a victim because we have told the world how sick and twisted Scott Weiner is.
And so we expose Scott Weiner and then he responds, trying to elicit sympathy, trying to say, feel sorry for me.
And he says that he received a death threat, which we do not support, obviously, because of our tweets at him.
So just to make sure everyone understands, the irony is when I was facing actual threats of physical violence at the University of New Mexico last night, California state senator Scott Weiner was making up his own and posting them on Twitter.
And so what ended up happening is he posts this tweet saying that he received this death threat.
Now, I receive lots of death threats.
I could read them on air.
Charlie, I'm going to murder you the next time I see you in the street.
Charlie, I'm going to come kill your family.
No one gets arrested.
We send them to the police.
No one writes an article about them.
No one blinks an eye.
We get death threats all the time.
Freedom at CharlieKirk.com, people say, I'm going to murder you.
I'm going to kill you.
I'm going to kidnap you.
Send them to the police.
And they say, there's really nothing we could do about it.
Send it to the Department of Homeland Security.
We get death threats far too often.
It's not acceptable.
It's awful.
It's part about being in public life.
But we don't talk about it a lot because it's part of life.
Okay.
So then he puts this tweet up, which is really bizarre because it looks as if he wrote it on his phone.
It has the cursor at the end of it or on his laptop, has a cursor.
It looks like he just wrote this thing himself.
It doesn't look like an actual death threat that he received.
It appears that Scott Weiner was just making this up.
If you look at the ratio, which if you don't know how Twitter works, all of a sudden Twitter started to respond to Scott Weiner saying, did you make this up yourself?
She says, well, no, it's a transcription of a voicemail that I received.
Okay.
Well, then post the voicemail with the timestamp.
Show us that you actually did get this death threat and that you are not the California equivalent of Jesse Smollett.
Now, I've said for quite some time, and Scott Weiner will Acknowledge, will not acknowledge this.
There is a supply and demand problem when it comes to racism and LGBT bigotry in America.
There is such a low supply of gays and blacks being mistreated that you have to make it up.
The amount of fake hate crimes in America is extraordinary.
In fact, there is an entire website about fake hate hoaxes.
And he's almost pseudo explain.
He's almost alleging that I left the voicemail.
That somehow one of our supporters left the voicemail.
Even though he won't play the voicemail.
And you don't think for a second that if Scott Weiner had the voicemail, he wouldn't have just posted the voicemail, not some sort of weird edited transcription of it.
And then what's so interesting is then every major news outlet, for example, the San Francisco Chronicle, Scott Weiner calls out Charlie Kirk for homophobic Twitter remarks.
Really?
How is what I'm saying homophobic exactly?
So instead of actually defending his legislation that allowed people to spread HIV intentionally, opening up prisons to pedophiles, instead of defending the legislation, he says, this is violence against my community.
Really, it is.
And the San Francisco Chronicle goes along with it immediately.
Instead of defending their position, they'll immediately attack you.
And the media is happy to do it.
So then the media comes along and they say, oh, well, Scott Weiner got a death threat.
Did he get a death threat?
I don't know.
It looks like he just made this up on his phone.
Maybe he did play the voicemail with the timestamp.
Let us see.
Instead of actually owning the fact that he is the author of some of the most reprehensible legislation in America, Scott Weiner plays the gay card.
It's like the race card, but it's the gay card.
Well, you can't attack me because I'm part of the gay community.
So what?
Did you make it up?
How about you defend your legislation?
You see, it's very interesting.
We exposed this person.
And immediately, instead of actually engaging in a dialogue about what he was trying to do to pass, to pass legislation for the people of California, he immediately goes towards saying, I'm getting death threats because of you.
You're a very fragile person, Scott Weiner.
You're a very weak person, obviously.
You're on the left.
And fragile and weak people want to use force to shut up people they don't like.
You are not a victim.
You pretend to be one because that's all you have.
For you, it's the only currency for relevancy you have is to play the victim.
And I believe last night you got exposed as likely a hoax actor as someone who wants to, that wants sympathy, but quite honestly, might have just jussy smoletted his own situation.
The end of the year is right around the corner, and it's time for you to consider a change in your investment plan.
This is Charlie Kirk, and I strongly recommend you go right now and see my friends at PAX to review your investments.
They are the one firm I know that focuses on biblical, responsible investing and does not force you to invest in companies that literally attack Christian values.
If we want religious liberty in our country, we have to stop investing in companies that are trying to suppress our freedoms.
I love PAX Financial.
They manage some of my money.
I trust them.
And that's why before the end of the year, you need to text the word Charlie to the number 74868.
That's Charlie to 74868, and someone with PACS Financial Group will connect you right away.
So take out your phone, text the word Charlie to 74868.
I trust them with my money, and I think you should trust them with your money.
That is the word Charlie to 74868.
They're a great operation.
Check them out today.
Herschel Walker Senate Push00:04:25
You see, you see the people that are staffing our government.
And it really is at times a collection of freaks.
I don't say that lightly.
I don't find joy or delight in saying that.
You got Sam Brinton running your nuclear energy waste department.
You got Levine.
You got this guy Weiner in California.
This is not, these are not examples of a serious country.
I know what a lot of you people are probably saying: that China is laughing at us.
No, that is true.
I actually, I also think China is probably stunned at how we're doing it to ourselves.
That the greatest issue in California needs to be addressed is to have trans refuge laws.
And by the way, in response to Scott Weiner and the bill that he doesn't even want to defend, if you commit a crime, you do not have to go on the sex offender registry.
But if you're mad that the laws are unequal, how about making it so that 24-year-olds with eighth graders is always a sex offender crime rather than making it not?
No, that's far too complicated for Scott Weiner.
Someone just said, I love our audience.
Charlie, I'm wondering if he's related to Anthony Weiner.
I actually think they spell Weiner differently.
I do.
I think that it's two separate spellings of Wiener.
I want to transition here.
We got to focus on the Georgia runoff.
I wanted to make sure I mentioned this today.
Herschel Walker is in a very difficult runoff.
If you are in Georgia, I highly encourage you to vote early and in person or maybe on election day if you think that's the best choice for you.
But we've got to rack up as many votes as we possibly can.
Right now, it looks like Raphael Warnock is going to get reelected, so it's not looking good.
If every Republican shows up in massive numbers, then we could do this.
Georgia has profoundly changed in the last couple of years.
I really hope that we're able to get Herschel Walker across the finish line.
So if you're in Georgia, I highly encourage you to show up and vote.
Play cut 36, Brian Kemp on Herschel Walker.
Does Herschel Walker share your values?
Well, listen, when I'm talking about going to Washington, D.C. and fighting for what Georgians need, I'm talking about the border, 40-year high inflation, astronomical gas prices since Joe Biden took office, and the agenda that Raphael Warnock has supported up there.
I mean, to me, it's that simple in this race.
And that's, you know, why I'm voting for Herschel Walker.
I want somebody to go up there and go fight for our state and fight for our citizens, not fight to support a president that really, in my view, is not upholding the values of what Georgians want.
Just want to say, if you live in Georgia, we have to show up in record numbers.
Unfortunately, it looks like Raphael Warnock is getting his voters out to the polls, spending a lot of money.
I would hate to see us all of a sudden have a 52-person Democrat Senate in a state that should be structurally Republican as Georgia.
So if you are in Georgia, if you have friends in Georgia, voting does not take a long period of time.
Please make a priority to do this ahead of Tuesday.
Tuesday is the runoff between Walker and Warnock.
And I just think it is mission critical to get Herschel Walker across the finish line.
Democrat operatives are increasingly rejoicing and excited because they're hitting every single one of their metrics.
And I sure hope that we show up in record numbers in a big way.
Right now, the Senate composition is 5149.
Yeah, that's right.
It would be 5149 instead of 50.50.
That's right.
It would be 51.49.
I think.
Yeah, I think that's right, if Warnock wins, because they would have flipped one seat in Pennsylvania with Fetterman.
Still hard to believe.
Has huge implications for 24.
We got to get Herschel Walker in the U.S. Senate.
Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
Thank you so much for listening.
God bless.
