Destroying America's Future 00:10:52
Hey, everybody, Tana Charlie Kirk Show.
Peter Navarro joins us and Steve Moore to talk about the midterms.
What would happen if you wanted to destroy the country?
Well, how would you act?
And what's going on in Chicago?
One of my favorite topics, or at least favorite topics to talk about, considering what's happening in the once great city.

Here we go.
Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.
I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
I want to thank Charlie.
He's an incredible guy.
His spirit, his love of this country.
He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
That's why we are here.

Joining us now is Peter Navarro.
I really like Peter Navarro.
He's a great American patriot.
He's very clear and courageous, and he has a new book, Taking Back Trump's America.
And he joins us right now.
Peter, how are you doing?
None too soon to take back Trump's America.
That's just not a book for me, Charlie.
It's a mission right now.
And as I talk about in Taking Back Trump's America, we got to get back to the White House in 2024.
But in the next less than 30 days, critical that we get back to Congress, critical that we rip that gavel from Nancy Pelosi's cold, unconstitutional hands.
We get the Senate back as well and begin the process of legally and constitutionally rebuilding our economy, rebuilding election integrity.
And by the way, send in a few subpoenas their way to figure out why the FBI for the last six years, six years, Charlie, and I was there at the beginning, has been trying a preemptive coup on Donald Trump to keep him from being in the Oval Office or get back there again.
So I always appreciate talking with you, Charlie.
The folks who listen to your show, that's the future.
And these are the folks that we've got to mobilize and give the appropriate information to so that they can make interesting and good choices about how to move forward.
It's important.
Thank you for those kind words, Peter.
So, Peter, let me ask you: you say it's important to take back the House and the Senate.
I totally agree.
But every so often I get an email from somebody and I counter it on air, but I want your take.
They say, Charlie, I live in a state where I don't have great candidate selections.
And I have a Senate candidate who is a moderate rhino and a Democrat.
Peter, is it the argument at this moment, a couple weeks out from the midterms when the primaries are over, for us to quote unquote take the lesser of two evils and vote for the Republican, even though we know we're not going to agree with them on everything?
Is that what MAGA should do at this moment if presented with that choice?
Charlie, that's certainly what MAGA should do at this point.
But I think the more complete answer to that question right now with less than 30 days to the election is the internet.
We live in a digital world.
And so rather than whine or worry about the candidates you might be in a state or your own Congress race, there's 50 races out there, Charlie, that are toss-ups right now that we can grab.
Okay?
50.
And so, what I put out in my Baker's Dozen on Bannon's War Room the other day, it's kind of some of the caught my eye.
Let me just give you a few of them so we don't overwhelm the audience.
But, for example, one of my favorites that we got to get is Zach Nunn in Iowa 3 to Axy Axne, Cindy Axne.
She is a Pelosi puppet in a red state of Iowa, and she's hanging on by a thread.
So, you can just go and Google Zach Nunn and get that done.
In North Carolina, for example, we got Bo Hines.
In California, there's a long shot race, which Kevin McCarthy, the Republican minority leader, has ignored for God knows why.
Pete Hernandez, this guy's a great candidate in a newly formed Latino district, running against one of the kangaroo court people on that January 6th witch hunt.
And if we could win that race, as we should, that would be great.
You got Caroline Levitt, who I was in the White House, very young woman in the press shop.
She's a firebrand, one of the most articulate young folks I've ever heard speak.
She's a good one.
There's a couple of races in Texas with really good Latino candidates, but this is the thing to do.
And by the way, aside from that list, I would say it's critical to help Blake Masters, the Senate candidate in Arizona, to defeat Mark Kelly, the astronaut.
That's the only thing that guy's going for him.
He's Mr. Spaceman, and somehow that gets you a few votes.
But if we can get that seat, we know that McConnell has done everything to stop Blake from getting in there because Blake is not going to support McConnell.
But that's a great one to win.
And then the governor's, Charlie, the hat trick is Kerry Lake in Arizona, Tudor Dixon in Michigan, which the mainstream corporate media is trying to bury with suppression polls.
And of course, Doug Mastriano, who he's a hero of mine.
I go back to when the battle, I don't know if you remember this, Charlie, but when we had the original battle in Pennsylvania over election integrity, Mastriano led the charge on that in the state Senate.
And this guy, Jake Corman, a Republican rhino, cut his legs out from under him, successfully cut Mastriano's legs.
But karma's a Charlie, because Mastriano ran for governor.
He trounced Corman, and now he's on the verge of winning a state, which, in my judgment, Pennsylvania, should always be a red state.
It's a blue-collar, working-class manufacturing, fracking state.
And there's no other reason other than election theft that that thing should ever be in blue land.
So, those are just some of the ways.
So, when you get those calls, Charlie, it's like, yeah, you got to hold your nose, whatever.
But the more important thing is to go out and win some of those toss-up races so we can have Trump Republicans in the House, in the Senate.
That's exactly right.
And we had Doug Mastriano on the program this week.
We're 100% behind Doug.
And boy, I tell you what, I live in Arizona.
I'm biased.
I'm a big Kerry Lake fan.
But, Peter, I think Kerry Lake could be a transformational governor in a very positive way and have a really optimistic, forward-thinking message and agenda for all people.
And she's running up against a very poor candidate.
And Carrie has done things so unconventionally.
She doesn't really do big fundraisers.
She doesn't run a lot of TV ads.
And the latest poll shows her up three points on Katie Hobbs.
And it's probably even more than that because MAGA is so hard to pull.
And so, Peter, how do you diagnose the kind of health of the MAGA movement heading into the midterms at this moment?
I know some of our candidates are surging.
Some are kind of in the middle.
You know, what else needs to be done?
I suppose I could ask from now to the midterms.
I think the Taking Back Trump's America book is important because it really is a textbook on how to run a MAGA campaign.
And the problem we had in 2020 because of termites in the White House, we weren't able to fully embrace that.
But, Charlie, if I may, the difference, as I explained in Taking Back Trump's America between the traditional Republicans and MAGA is this: we agree with the rhinos on a low tax burden for families, on a low regulatory burden for businesses, on strategic energy dominance.
We agree on all of that.
Where we diverge from the McConnell, Wall Street, Silicon Valley multinational corporation, corporate love China people is on the end endless wars, on securing our southern border.
The rhinos love bringing that cheap labor across and on manufacturing and supply chains on U.S. soil, not in the sweatshops of Asia.
And so, if you're a candidate running wherever you are in this country, that's a working-class message.
Bring our manufacturing home through good trade policy, through buy American, secure our southern borders so we don't have our wages driven down, our schools and emergency rooms overrun, and people being shot in the street or raped by illegals.
Now, I'll tell you, Charlie, it's sheer math, okay?
You can make the argument as Steve Bannon and I always do: like these people are just acting rationally, they're coming to the promised land.
It's our job to stop that.
But the problem is that statistically, there's an iron law.
There's a certain percentage of people who come across that border who are going to commit crimes: burglary, robbery, rape, murder.
It's all there in the statistics.
And so, the bigger the flow, when you get 2 million, you get a lot more crime than if you get 100,000 over.
And we solve the problem.
It's all in the Taking Back Trump's America.
Well, when Pat Sipalone and the president came up with an idea in 2018 that solved that problem, Biden undidded it, Charlie.
I don't know about you, but I spend a lot of time making my house feel like home, indoors and out.

We have been warning about how extra constitutional measures are being used to be able to isolate and punish people with certain beliefs, things that the government would not be able to do.
And what if I told you that the bank that you use might just be able to deactivate your account at any moment?
This is one of the reasons why at Turning Point USA, we've been moving all of our funds away from J.P. Morgan Chase.
You should never use J.P. Morgan Chase because yesterday, J.P. Morgan Chase comes out and they have cut all ties with Kanye West.
They say, we don't want your business anymore, which I can't imagine would be a good business decision to cancel a guy worth $2 billion.
And look, you might not like what Kanye had to say recently.
I certainly believe he could have said it differently.
I don't even know what he was trying to say, but I met Kanye years ago.
He's a good person.
He's a creative person.
He's a Christian, and he's brought a lot of people to the Lord with one of the best-selling, best-performing Christian music albums ever.
And there's very good things in there.
It really is.
And people slander him and they attack him and all this.
But you have to understand, Kanye's a creative mind.
He communicates differently.
And that's for whatever reason why J.P. Morgan then sends him a letter where JPMorgan says, Dear Yay, we're sending this letter to confirm our recent discussion that J.P. Morgan Chase has decided to end its banking relationship with Yeezy LLC.
Now, what's so amazing to me is that I was told for years by the market Puritans, which I love free markets, it's great, that companies will never do anything that is not in their profit interest.
This is not in their profit interest.
This is in their political interest.
They stand to lose millions of dollars in fees and commissions to close the Yeezy LLC.
To provide the company with sufficient time to transition, we will obviously keep your account open for another month.
By the way, I know of at least 10 conservatives, 10 conservatives that have been canceled by BOA, by Wells Fargo, and J.P. Morgan Chase in the last couple of days.
At least 10.
At least 10 different conservatives that have been canceled all across the board.
And here's Kanye West, who then posts this letter.
And what is the crime that Kanye West committed?
And look, again, I'll say this.
Kanye West can be a loose cannon.
I don't love what he said, but to indict all of his character and everything there because of one social media post, I just don't like it at all.
And by the way, give him a chance to explain it.
What did he mean by it?
Or ask for forgiveness or an apology.
And because of that, he gets completely and totally canceled because of this.
He no longer is able to bank.
You know, it really is interesting and fascinating.
All of the just the mountain of anti-Semitic, anti-Christian comments that you could find with people in Hollywood.
Why didn't they lose their banking privileges?
What about all the wacky things that Democrats say?
Again, I'm not going out of my way to defend what was said.
That's not the point.
I will say that I will defend Kanye West as a person.
I think the slander against him and the smearing against him is wrong and terrible and awful.
And I say that as someone who has spent significant time with him, I think he's a really sweet person.
And I think he cares about people, truly.
I mean, the nonstop propaganda of the anti-white stuff that is said, the anti-Christian stuff, the anti-Semitic stuff.
How about this?
Why is Elon Omar allowed to have bank accounts?
Elon Omar is not just an anti-Semite.
I'm not saying Kanye is, but Elon Omar has policies that are anti-Semitic.
How about this?
Why does University of California, Berkeley, allowed to have bank accounts?
They have Jew-free zones at UC Berkeley.
Don't believe me?
I'll read that article again at University of California, Berkeley.
UC Berkeley has Jewish-free zones.
It's a real thing, which, by the way, is a directly out of the 1930s, which was Juden-free, meaning no Jews allowed.
UC Berkeley says here: Times of Israel, Berkeley develops Jewish-free zones.
Universities have areas where Jewish students are not allowed.
Why are they allowed to bank?
No outrage for UC Berkeley because they're obviously very loyal to the left, but what is the real problem with Kanye West?
No, no, no.
The real problem with Kanye West is he's starting to get black people to think freely and no longer be part of the Democrat Party.
That's why they have to punish him.
It's not because he said something wacky or something outlandish or something reprehensible, of which any of those things are potentially, you know, in the realm there.
No, no, no.
The question is, why do they hate Kanye West so much?
They hate him because he brings people to the Lord.
He's an outspoken Christian.
He's creative.
He's a multi-billionaire.
He has a very loyal following.
And they know that if Kanye West is able to continue to speak against the Democrat Party and calls abortion a genocide on the black community, it's a threat to the regime.
That's why they have to debank Kanye West.
Again, very similar to Alex Jones story.
You do not have to like what Kanye said.
You don't have to like what Alex Jones says.
A lot of things Alex Jones says I don't like.
I disagree with.
A lot of things Kanye says that I certainly disagree with.
Not the point.
Should you be able to bank?
Yeah.
Speak freely?
I hope so.
You can't remain silent just because somebody says something you don't like.
Seven Ways America Fails 00:14:32
The question is: do your rights evaporate and disappear to be able to bank, to be able to have private property, just because all of a sudden you're a threat to the regime?
Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
The southern border is wide open, and we have to tell the world about it.

Every single state is a border state.
And we here being headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, want the rest of the country, want you all across America to see what we are living through in Arizona.
It's a one-of-a-kind docuseries available exclusively on salemnow.com.

Brought to you by Turning PointUSA, available at salemnow.com.
Joining me now is one of my favorite guests and a fellow Chicagoan as we share our lament of the downfall of a once great American city.
That's not why he's here today to talk about, but we always got to start with the Chicago update.
It is Steve Moore.
Steve, welcome back to the program.
Steve, every time you come back on the show, another amazing business has left Chicago.
Now it's Tyson Foods.
Steve, tell us the latest.
Chicago, I think you still live there.
You traveled through there.
Has Chicago finally hit rock bottom?
Hey, Charlie, great to be with you.
It is just heartbreaking to me as somebody who grew up in Chicagoland and still believes that Chicago is one of the great cities in the world, although I don't think it certainly was when I was growing up.
I'm not so sure you could say that today, given the out of control, the inflation is, I mean, the taxes are so high in Chicago now.
The schools are horrific, corrupt leadership.
And a lot of the business leaders who I've talked to who've moved out of Chicago, Charlie, they're telling me they could even, they could put up with all of that, but what they can't put up with is the danger that they face and their employees face having a business located in Chicago with the shootings, with the muggings, with the crime that is so rampant.
And so you're right.
This is about the fifth.
I mean, look, Sears is out of Chicago now.
Citadel is out of Chicago now.
Boeing moved out of Chicago.
Tyson's food.
And by the way, Tyson's food moved to Arkansas.
I mean, my goodness, how bad can it be in Chicago when you're moving out of Chicago, moving to Arkansas?
I'm just sort of saying that tongue-in-cheek, but it is so sad to see even the Chicago Bears are moving out of Chicago.
Did you see that?
Yeah, that's right.
They're moving to Arlington Heights.
The Chicago Bears can't even stay at Soldier Field.
I mean, look, it's just 565 murders this year.
Lori Lightfoot is just, she's just continuing the destruction here.
And, Steve, I don't want to dwell too much on this, but something that I can't quite get clarity on is: is there zero self-awareness amongst Chicago Democrats?
I mean, they have to have some sort of memory of the beautiful city of Chicago of what it once was, which was a world-class city, a safe place, hardworking people, great sports, you know, really amazing businesses.
Is it they don't care or they're so prideful and all they care about political power?
What's your diagnosis on that, Steve?
Well, the interesting thing is that I'm older than you are, but you know, when I was growing up, it was the boss, it was Mayor Daly who ran that city.
And he was a Democrat, but he was an old-fashioned Democrat.
I mean, was there some corruption?
Yeah.
Were there payoffs to people?
Yeah.
But it was called the city that worked.
So they got rid of the crime and they made Chicago a place where you could do business.
I mean, today, the Democrats like Lightfoot are just too incompetent to be able to run anything.
You know, they don't have any business experience and they don't know how to, they're so driven by a left-wing ideology that they can't make this city a place where people want to live.
And unfortunately, it's going to decline.
Incidentally, Charlie, the same thing is happening right now in San Francisco.
People are moving out of San Francisco in droves.
It's the same thing that's happening in Los Angeles.
It's the same thing that's happening in Baltimore.
It's the same thing that's happening in New York.
I mean, our great cities, our iconic American cities, are being destroyed as liberal laboratories.
Yeah.
And I, you know, we're here in Texas Hill Country at an undisclosed location.
And I got to tell you, Steve, it's that they destroy the cities and then they want to go live in the beautiful places that conservatives built.
Yep.
And I got to tell you, I got a big problem there, right?
They said they destroyed Chicago.
They're going to go to the next to the next to the next.
I mean, Philadelphia has problems.
I mean, the solutions to these things are very simple.
They have to cut taxes so that they're competitive places for businesses to be.
They have to do what Rudu Giuliani did and get crime off of the streets.
I mean, by the way, I saw within 18 months, Rudy Giuliani fixed that city of New York and it had an incredible renaissance.
And then you've got to have school choice.
You've got to allow parents in those cities because you can't have a family if you live in Chicago or New York or Baltimore because you can't afford to send your kids to a private school and the schools are so rotten in our inner cities.
And if you did those kinds of things, I think cities could make a comeback, but not with the leadership that we have today.
Yeah, I mean, just the most simple thing that could be done is reduce the crime.
More police.
Don't have this.
I mean, and by the way, starting in January, again, I didn't plan to spend too much time on this, but if you guys look at what's starting in January, I have it saved on my phone.
It's called the Safety Act in Illinois, which is that if you are guilty of second-degree murder, arson, kidnapping, you can no longer be held with any sort of bail.
It gets rid of all bail.
You could second-degree murder in Illinois, you're released the next morning.
And this is what's happening in Illinois.
I mean, it's a purge.
It isn't, it's a jailbreak that's happening.
And I mean, it's really interesting.
I know where this comes from, though, and I hate to complete the point too much, but I was at the campus of University of Texas, Austin yesterday, and I act one after the other, and they said, Prisons are, we should not have prisons, got to get rid of the police.
It's all systemic racism.
People commit crimes because of the police, one after the other.
And this is where it comes from.
These idea pathogens start in the college campuses and infect the entire society.
So, Steve, you have a new article I want to talk about.
I meant to touch on it earlier, but whenever I talk about Chicago, I get rather passionate.
Seven ways America is being destroyed.
I'm really impressed you were only, you know, had to stop at seven, but tell us about it, especially energy.
One of the issues I care about most is how these ideologues and these environmentalists have destroyed America's energy independence.
It's one of the great self-inflicted wounds in the history of our nation.
Please talk about it, Steve.
So, there's kind of a funny story behind this article.
I gave a speech at a Freedom Works conference with several hundred free market conservative activists.
You do that kind of thing all the time.
And so, I really got on the stage and I didn't even kind of know what I was going to talk about.
And so, I started this kind of riff with the people.
I said, Well, because the first thing people start asking me about is, you know, is what Biden is doing, is this intentional?
Are they trying to destroy the American economy?
I don't know where you stand on that one, but you know, I get audience.
This is all this destruction of the economy is intentional.
I think 90% of the people raised their hand.
And what I said was, Well, I don't know if it's intentional.
I don't usually get into people's motives, but I said, You know, if let's assume for a minute that you did want to destroy America, what would you do?
What would your plan be?
And then I said, I kind of talked about, and this was audience participation.
A lot of the people contributed ideas.
What would you do to destroy America?
And so, very quickly, number one is you'd destroy its energy supply.
Wouldn't you agree that they're doing a pretty good job of that?
Well, yeah, I mean, not only have they done a good job of it, I think it's all intentional.
I mean, they have a green energy, they have this pathological green energy agenda that is so morally morally corrupt, in my opinion, where it puts it puts human dignity and flourishing aside for some sort of far-off, abstract dream that they can't even specify to try to prevent against some sort of sky is falling clamoring of global anthropogenic climate change.
And so, you have here in this list destroying the energy supply.
I mean, if there was one thing that could create jobs, create wealth, be a tax cut for the regular American, probably end the war in Ukraine, secure American security, have American security, it's energy.
And, you know, I think conservatives have played defense on this for far too long because we're afraid of the climate change debate.
I think we got to play offense on this.
I think decent Americans understand we've been blessed by the Lord to have these unbelievable natural resource assets, and we're deciding just to give it up and allow the worst actors of the third world to go beg Venezuela for oil.
Let me just add something to what you just said, even with respect to the environment.
Because, look, we as conservatives, we believe in clean air, we want clean water.
And so, by all we're doing under Biden, is shifting the energy production out of the United States, out of Texas and Oklahoma, North Dakota, and Alaska, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
And we're transferring that production to countries like Iran, Venezuela, Russia, you know, the Middle Eastern countries.
Now, not only are most of those countries enemies in the United States, but do you think that those countries have any environmental standards whatsoever?
So we're actually making the world more polluted, not less polluted, by shifting production outside of the United States.
Notwithstanding, you're exactly right.
We're losing hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars for America and $100,000 a year jobs here in the United States because we're not producing it.
But just very quickly, Charlie, number two, lose control of your border.
You got to agree that that's something Biden's doing.
I'm all right, Steve.
You got to explain something to me.
I don't pretend to understand this.
So I check the market before we go live and the Dow is down like 400, 500 points.
We're having breakfast.
The Dow is down 500 points.
So then I do a segment on how the economy is not doing well, assuming the market's still down.
And so then I type in Dow today and it says the Dow is up 800 points.
So that's a 1,300-point swing.
What's going on here, Steve?
Can you explain this to me?
You know, I cannot explain that because I saw the same thing.
You know, the Dow was down 600 points this morning.
So you've had, you've had about a, I don't know, 1,100 point swing in the Dow in three hours.
And so I don't have a good explanation for it, but I do have an explanation for what's happening to this country's finances.
You know, we're looking at one of the worst bear markets we've seen since the 1970s.
When you adjust for inflation, Charlie, people have lost about, especially seniors have lost about 20% of their lifetime savings when you adjust for inflation.
Because remember, inflation's run over since Biden's come into office about 12%, plus you've got about 6 or 7% nominal reductions in the stock market.
So people are getting crushed.
And I'm very, I have to say, I'm very nervous about a financial crisis.
You see this all over the world.
And the proximate cause of this, Charlie, is that since COVID hit, the developed countries of the world, the advanced countries of the world, the United States and Europe and others have spent and borrowed and printed $22 trillion.
The chickens are coming home to roost.
Yeah.
And it just, it's so self-inflicted.
There's an agenda behind this, I think, that most Americans don't quite recognize and realize.
This is the intentional destruction of the United States of America just for the for power, for a globalist experiment.
It's just unbelievable.
One of the things you mention here in your piece, and I'm reading from zerohedge.com, Steve, is you say you would weaponize government agencies by going to imprison or punish your political enemies.
Steve, they're rating political opposition and dissidents from Peter Navarro, Bannon.
They just raided another pro-life leader a couple of days ago because he was singing hymns outside of an abortion clinic.
Steve, just really quick, I mean, you've been in this business longer than I have.
Have you ever seen this kind of just blatant, unapologetic, blunt weaponization of government against political dissidents?
I haven't seen it, but you know, Charlie, I read about it when I was a kid when we learned about what was happening behind the Iron Curtain in these Stalinists.
The Gulag Archipelago.
Yeah, exactly.
What's that?
Yeah, that's right.
I saw the Gulag Archipelago in the Soviet Union.
That's right.
Yeah, this is what tyrants do.
They use the power of government to suppress and silence and shut up their enemies.
And if they have to, they will lock them up.
And that is happening now.
By the way, I don't know about you, Charlie, but you should be worried because I am.
I'm worried there's going to be a knock on my door someday at my home, and there's going to be six FBI agents that are going to want to arrest me.
Why?
Because I was a Trump guy.
Look what they did to Peter Navarro.
Look what, I mean, this is really an abuse of power.
Where are the civil libertarians on the left complaining about this?
They want to put people like you and me in jail to shut us up.
And I'm not exaggerating here.
This may be the worst thing of all, what they're doing in terms of the suppressing of our rights.
It's not enough for them to try to muzzle us so that we can't speak, but they don't want us around.
They want us locked up.
And that's what they've done too many people.
And it's time to have some kind of revolt against that.
It's the great threat here that people are not nearly focusing on enough.
And where are these honest liberals?
They're okay with the FBI showing up with 30 agents with guns on a weekend to a father of 11 because he sung a hymn outside of an abortion clinic.
Meanwhile, you burn down entire cities and no one gets arrested.
No one gets held accountable.
You burn down Wendy's.
It's a very dangerous thing.
Steve, thank you so much.
