35:24
The New Fascism of Joe Biden's Democrat Party

On this episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, Charlie responds to Joe Biden's heated remarks in which he labeled MAGA Republicans "Semi-Fascist." He unpacks the motivation behind such a statement, largely the fact that his party is hemorrhaging followers in light of his failed presidency, and narrows in specifically on one demographic that Democrats are struggling with for the first time ever: young Americans. Next, he responds directly to the attacks and lays out the truth about the term "fascist" and why it more aptly describes Biden and his authoritarian ilk than Trump or any Republican currently living in America. Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Political Realignment and Charlie Kirk 00:03:41
Hey everybody, Joe Biden is a fascist.
I don't know why that's so controversial to say.
We talk about how young people are defecting from the Democrat Party and why they have to go to such paranoid, desperate lengths to try and smear us, the populist nationalist movement.

Buckle up, everybody.
Here we go.
Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.
I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
I want to thank Charlie.
He's an incredible guy.
His spirit, his love of this country.
He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
Turning point USA.
We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
That's why we are here.
Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
There's a political realignment happening that is once in a generation.
It's happening with Hispanics, it's happening with Latinos, it's happening with young people.
The 18-month campaign by the regime and the ruling class to try to punish the conservative base into submission, to try to bully us into bending a knee has failed remarkably.
And what we are seeing on multiple levels is a full court press by the Democrat Party to try to win back their base.
Most specifically, of course, with the student loan bailout package, which one of our listeners beautifully called a bribe, and that is just perfect.
It is a bribe.
It is nothing more than the federal government coming in and trying to bribe younger voters to say, vote for us, despite the fact that we keep on sending our money abroad.
Our borders are wide open.
Things cost twice as much as they did last year.
It's hard to buy a home.
The promises of the woke are totally and completely insane.
And because of this, young people are 13 points less likely to be liberal than they were five years ago.
This is amazing news, everybody.
This is huge.
This is a complete turning of how we are seeing young people process politics, get engaged in their local communities.
And so, this is the reason why the machine, why the political apparatus of the Democrat Party has to continue to go after young people.
It's all about children.
It's all about students.
It's all about young adults.
Do you notice how fixated they are on transgender youth surgeries?
How fixated they are on making sure your children are exposed to these insidious and corrosive ideologies.
You see, children are the future of any political movement, civilization, or country.
It's obvious.
And now that young people and their parents alongside of them are becoming far more conservative, they are leaning in in aggressive ways to try to win back younger voters and try to control them altogether.
The Red Guard Propaganda Nightmare 00:05:27
One piece of history that I study is the Red Guard, Mao Sedong, who took over China and started the Chinese Communist Party.
One of the characteristics of the Red Guard was that they had the little Red Guard.
The Little Red Guard was a selective children's organization sanctioned by the Chinese Communist Party from December 1967 through October 1978.
School students 6 to 14 years old were members of this party.
During the Cultural Revolution, students that were in the Red Guard were told to report on adults and other people in society of whether or not they were loyal to the Chinese Communist Party.
Now, this organization is different than the Red Guard, which was older teens and college-aged youth.
But the Little Red Guard, they would patrol around, not in any uniform, and they would look and listen to what adults were saying.
And then they would go to the state, they would go to the Chinese Communist Party government and report them.
They were able to have unbelievable amount of information of domestic surveillance.
Orwell said this perfectly in 1984.
By the way, Germany did the same thing, and so did Russia.
You ever heard the term Mother Russia?
The term Mother Russia came from the idea that your true mother is not your birth mother, but it is the state.
It is the leviathan.
George Orwell wrote in 1984, In our society, we have cut the links between child and parent, between man and woman, between man and man.
No one dares trust a wife or a child or a friend any longer.
But in the future, there will be no wives and there will be no friends.
Children will be taken from their mothers at birth, as ones from eggs from a hen.
I want to play a piece of tape here.
Play cut 30.
Consider this post from Susan's feed.
It's from her uncle Steve, who claims, everybody knows COVID is no worse than the flu.
Beware of phrases like everybody or nobody.
Statements like these often commit the fallacy of mob appeal by appealing to the emotions of a crowd for an idea to be accepted or rejected.
Comparing a pandemic virus to a seasonal virus also commits the fallacy of weak analogy because the two viruses have telling differences.
Steve fails to share those differences, committing the fallacy of suppressed evidence.
Finally, unless Steve is an infectious disease expert, he is also committing the fallacy of appeal to authority.
He is presenting this information as if he were an expert in the field when he is not.
What was that?
That was a Department of Homeland Security video published by your government, targeted to young people, attacking the uncle who compares COVID to the flu and encouraging them to potentially report them.
That you should need to report your elders to the state.
Let me continue with Orwell here.
But before I do, let me play actually the next clip of why it's about the CDC and they say this is why you can trust the CDC.
This is government propaganda.
They need to destroy the bond between a parent and a child.
Young people are fleeing the Democrat Party.
And so now they have to destroy the bond between a parent and a child.
PlayCut 31.
Susan doubts her uncle's claim, but she isn't an infectious disease expert either.
That brings us to the core of this lesson.
Do your own research and rely on fact-based sources.
Official and verified sources are held accountable for the accuracy of the information they share.
For example, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website should be favored because they are a trustworthy source due to large government funding, nonpartisan college-educated experts, and years of experience in the field.
Yeah, the CDC could be trusted because of how much funding they receive, according to the CDC and the DHS and college-educated experts.
Orwell continues in 1984.
It's so profound because he studied Mao.
He studied the Soviet Union.
He said children will be taken from their mothers at birth as one takes eggs from a hen.
The sex instinct will be eradicated.
Procreation will be an annual formality for the renewal of a ration card.
We shall abolish anything close to true relationships.
There will be no loyalty except loyalty towards the party.
There'll be no love except the love of Big Brother.
There'll be no laughter except the laugh of triumph over a defeated enemy.
There'll be no art.
There'll be no literature.
There'll be no science.
There'll be no need of these things.
There'll be no distinction between beauty and ugliness.
There will be no curiosity, no enjoyment of the process of life.
All competing pleasures will be destroyed.
No distinction between beauty and ugliness.
Generational Distress and Activism Fatigue 00:06:29
Boy, does that sound like what we're living through right now?
It's all about the next generation.
This is why what we are doing at Turning Point USA, in my opinion, is the most important work.
Right now, we have over 100 full-time people at Turning Point USA starting high school and college chapters across the country.
No other organization is doing that work except us.
No one.
The regime has a multi-trillion dollar campaign to take your child or your grandchild away from you, to tear them away from your values, to make young people share completely and totally opposite ideas from you.
That's how they're able to implement this form of tyranny.
Right now, Bank of America has just lowered its 2022 forecast for the SP 500 by a whopping 900 points to 3,600.
Saying we're headed for a recession this year, it said the new year target is the lowest on the street.
This is not good news for those of you stuck in equities or anything tied to stock markets.
I know thousands of people who have put their trust in Noble Gold to prevent losing money and the financial storm that is brewing.
You can join them by calling their expert team.

You can't go wrong with Noble Gold.

That is noblegoldinvestments.com.
You cannot have a free society if people are perpetually in fear and do not trust one another.
If you all of a sudden turn a society or a civilization into perpetual fight or flight, am I being monitored?
Am I being watched?
Am I being listened to?
Am I being spied on?
The worst of human nature starts to kick in.
And that is precisely what happens in every single one of these authoritarian and totalitarian countries.
And what's ended up, what's the dynamics that are happening right now is really concerning the Democrats and the leaders.
And this is really good news for us, everybody.
I know there's so much bad news out there.
I know there's so much nonsense out there.
I know there's so much just overwhelming negativity.
But there are three things happening simultaneously that I want to pinpoint for you.
Number one, it is the rise of the radical Gen Xer.
This is something that is not talked about a lot.
Gen X is a generation that has, and this is something they tell social scientists, they say this in surveys, they say this in opinion articles.
They feel kind of glossed over, that they've been waiting their turn, but for promotions and for business startups, it just seems as if they've lived in the shadow of baby boomers.
Well, now, Gen X, you are front and center.
It is the rise, it is the center right.
It is a hard right term with Gen X in a very, very serious way.
That's number one.
Number two, the children of Gen X are now getting more conservative education and exposure than ever before.
And you're seeing this reflected in polls.
Now, the children of baby boomers, that's my generation, and I am on the younger end of that generation, millennials, very liberal.
The children of baby boomers turned out to be very liberal.
The children of Gen X are turning out to be more moderate, more fair-minded, center-right.
I would like to say conservative, but the data doesn't quite show that yet.
But there is some movement.
So, number one is, I believe, the radicalization of Gen X, where they are now seeing their kids indoctrinated by this nonsense.
They're seeing the southern border completely wide open.
They're seeing their infrastructure be overrun by third world infiltrators in their country from Nicaragua, Honduras, and even Tajikistan.
Gen X is now going to send a massive political message to Washington, D.C. and to the entire country that we now want political representation, and we're going to vote more Republican than Democrat.
I guarantee it.
We're going to see it in major states.
It's going to surprise people.
We saw that in Virginia.
Virginia was a Gen X election.
Now, for those of you that might say, well, Charlie, what is Gen X again?
Let's do a little refreshing.
Gen X is the demographic of people that were born in the late 1970s to the early 1980s as ending birth years, with the generation broadly defined as people born between 1965 and 1980.
That's what's considered to be Gen X.
So they've always kind of felt as if they've lived in the shadow of baby boomers.
Well, not anymore.
Front and center.
And their kids are now becoming voters.
And they're getting right into the main thrust of American policies.
Number two, it kind of ties this.
Younger voters defecting.
They're not getting interested.
They're not knocking on doors.
I mean, you saw it a little bit with the Roe v. Wade protests.
Yeah, there were people outside of the justices' homes.
There were some marches here.
Way underwhelming.
This generation has activism fatigue.
This generation has been like, all right, we've protested for way too much stuff for the last couple of years.
We're done.
We protested for Ukraine.
We protested for George Floyd.
We protested for protests against Donald Trump.
We wore those silly, stupid hats, those pink hats.
We're done.
We have activism fatigue.
They have become, and this is not good for the country, but it is temporarily good for the conservative movement.
They have become unbelievably cynical.
And I saw this when I visited University of California, Berkeley.
I saw it firsthand.
They are not utopians.
They are not, they're just like, just let me do weed.
And if I want to do ecstasy, don't bard, you know, don't come into my apartment.
Everything is stupid.
There's really no meaning anymore.
And now I'm oversimplifying, right?
There's some phenomenal young people that are not that cynical, but there is kind of this malaise of cynicism that has certainly set in, unmistakably.
Me too, Ukraine, BLM, anti-Trump, Occupy, all of it together.
They're kind of just like, I'm done.
Fascism, Capitalism, and Business Defense 00:15:02
And then the third dynamic that is playing into this that has the Democrat Party extremely nervous.
This is why they're acting with desperation.
This is why they are acting in panic.
This is why they're acting in distress.
Is Latinos are leaving the Democrat Party?
I think Latinos are going to get close to a 50-50 battleground demographic.
If that happens, all bets are off.
Arizona, congressional districts in Texas, all across there.
Democrats are seeing this happen.
Look, let me tell you, the worldwide food crisis is making headlines again.
Just recently, Business Insider said we're in a global food crisis that will wreak havoc on local economies and possibly trigger civil unrest.
They also said food shortages have led to civil unrest in the past with deadly consequences.

I want to give you another piece of hope here.
If their victory was inevitable, then their propaganda and their tyranny wouldn't be necessary.
If it was certain that they were going to win, if it was 100% that the Democrats and the collectivists and the Marxists and the totalitarians and the fascists, we'll get to that in a second, were going to win, then they would not need to continue their propaganda campaign.
They wouldn't need to continue to infiltrate our political groups.
They wouldn't need to continue to lie about us.
If you were to just take a step back, I did this last week with obviously the birth of my daughter, and I didn't really listen to a lot of news and I just kind of took a step back and I was just reading through things and I said, boy, the regime, the left, the collectivists, the Leviathan, they're acting incredibly desperate.
These are not moves of a stable ruling group at all.
These are moves of a these are the last gasps of the fall of Rome.
This is battle the bulge type stuff where you just throw everything you possibly can at the very end where you kind of see the writing on the wall.
You see that things are not going in the direction that you want them to.
So yesterday I went on Fox News with Sean Duffy, a phenomenal American.
I really like him on Laura Ingram's program.
She's off this week.
And the whole topic was about Joe Biden's comments calling half the country fascists.
And I think we have the tape here of Joe Biden saying it, which kind of frame up our conversation here.
But it's Joe Biden that went on and on and on about how half the country are basically semi-fascists.
So the Democrat running for governor in Florida, Charlie Crist, said, well, Biden was being honest about half the country being semi-fascist.
Play cut two.
What do you think about the president calling millions of Americans semi-fascist?
Listen, he's got to express and be honest about what he feels in his heart and his soul.
And I think that's probably exactly what he did.
And that's exactly what he did.
To kind of give you more of more clarity on this, let's go to cut nine, Brian Kilmead on Fox and Friends discussing Biden's recent statement, play cut nine.
But Biden really didn't feel like he nailed it, so he went a step further saying this, quote, what we're seeing now is the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MA philosophy.
It's not just Trump, it's the entire philosophy.
Wait for it.
It's like semi-fascism.
Semi-fascism is what Joe Biden said.
And look, he said it at a fundraiser and he said, look, you could call these guys semi-fascist.
Very similar to calling half the country deplorables, half the country that they cling to their Bible, their guns, their God, and their religion, or whatever Barack Hussein Obama said back then.
So what is a fascist exactly?
Where do we get that term fascism from?
The left loves throwing it around.
Well, fascism is where the government comes into partnership with certain private businesses, and it is best described as institutionalized crony capitalism.
Fascism in the simplest terms is government controlling the business of the select few and opposition or dissent is not permitted.
Now, usually the National Socialist Workers' Party, the Nazis, in the 1930s and 40s, is usually used as the best example of fascism.
But there's other examples.
Benito Mussolini, for example, was a fascist in Italy.
But this is where, and I'm not exactly a fan of her metaphysical philosophy, nor am I a fan of her moral philosophy, but I have to give credit where credit is due.
Ayn Rand was the best at articulating how fascism and Marxism are the same philosophy implemented differently.
She was the first writer to articulate this back in the 50s and 60s.
It's a very famous quote where she said that it's the same ugly face of the clenched fist against humanity or something of the boot of totalitarianism on the throat of liberty, something like that.
There's this very good quote by Ayn Rand, but what is the point of that?
Which is that fascism and communism are outgrowths of the same philosophy.
They're outgrowths of the same belief that the state is central, that natural rights do not come from God, that you should not have separation of powers or consent of the governed.
Ayn Rand wrote, fascism, Nazism, communism, and socialism are only superficial variations of the same monstrous theme, collectivism.
It's exactly right.
So they're all outgrowths of the same philosophy, which is collectivism, totalitarianism, and authoritarianism.
And sometimes we conflate them and we sometimes say, well, I mean, they're polar opposites.
I mean, there's this whole nonsensical philosophy out there that, well, if you're far right, you're a fascist.
And if you're far left, you are a Marxist.
Like, wait, wait a sec.
Wait, hold on.
What?
So if you go in the political continuum too far to the left, you want bigger government.
And you go too far to the continuum on the political right, you want bigger government.
The entire, and then you have these buffoons on television that say, well, yeah, and then the political spectrum is like a circle, and then it all kind of comes together.
What?
None of this is logical at all.
None of it.
In fact, I wrote about this in my first ever book called Time for a Turning Point.
And instead, the political spectrum should be very simple, which is you start in the state of nature with no government and you move along the political spectrum of how much government intervention that you very well might want with other kind of trails of your own little flavor of fascism versus Marxism.
That would be a much more appropriate way of looking at the kind of government force.
Now, some people would say, well, Charlie, it goes from communism to socialism to capitalism to fascism.
No, it doesn't.
That is not true.
Fascism and capitalism are at odds from one another.
Socialism and fascism are easy cousins of one another.
In fact, very rarely do you ever get to socialism.
You usually get into the comfort of fascism.
And that is exactly where we are headed right now.
Instead of overtaking the pharmaceutical companies, we're just going to have a cozy relationship of the government with Johnson and Johnson.
Instead of taking over Boeing and nationalizing Boeing, which we shouldn't do, obviously, there'll just be kind of a cozy relationship between the government and a select few of businesses.
The actual overtaking or the government ownership of services is not going to happen in a very wealthy, affluent society.
The businesses are too powerful and the government is too corrupt, and people get richer under fascism.
Not you.
No, no, the kleptocrats get richer under fascism.
So, all of this to say, last night I went on television and talked about this, and it's gone totally viral.
It's everywhere for whatever reason.
I don't think I said anything that remarkable because I said, wait a second, if you want to talk about who the fascists are, Joe Biden, you're a fascist.
Fascist actually means bundle of sticks.
You could take that for however you want when describing Joe Biden.
Play cut 28.
That if they're going to escalate the language, then game on.
Like, okay, if you're going to call us a bunch of fascists, we're not going to take that anymore.
You're the fascist, Joe Biden, and there's other words we could use as well.
We're not going to be like, well, I'd like to go back to the time of 2014.
I'm sorry.
It's over.
That's done.
They're calling you the worst thing that could be called in decent political conversation.
And what are we going to do?
Like, oh, well, we need to find a common ground.
No, we have to win.
We have to displace these people from power right now.
Pay attention.
This is the Rubicon that's been crossed when they call half the country fascist.
They call half the country fascist.
That is now the normal construct that they present.
Why are they doing this?
Why are they continually pushing this forward?
Because they're desperate.
The Democrats are not in a favorable position.
If you call your opponent a fascist, you are then more likely to be able to use the Federal Bureau of Investigation to infiltrate their political group.
But I also want to mention this, and I was communicating with a friend of mine yesterday from Chicago, and I noticed something.
This is just the benefit of when you take a week off and you can clear your mind.
Have you noticed what is missing from the American political discourse right now?
Have you noticed that no one is playing the race card right now?
No one.
In 2020, the race card was everywhere.
Equity, white fragility, George Floyd, riots, BLM.
It is the first major election in the last six years where race has not become a full and complete central theme.
Now, of course, that overweight woman, whatever her name is, on television, she played up the race card.
I don't know, Lizzo or whatever her name is.
No one listens to her.
I'm talking about the actual architects of the Democrat Party.
I'm talking about the people that are at the top levels, Mark Elias and the puppet masters.
It's very interesting how the race card is not being played that much.
Why do you think that is?
A working theory I have is maybe calling the country racist doesn't work.
And what community do you think doesn't like hearing about Black Lives Matter all the time?
The Latino community.
The Latino community doesn't like talking about race all the time.
They just don't.
They don't want to hear that America's a racist country.
That is a deeply unpopular message in the Latino community.
And so we've now transitioned, and this is now what they're trying to transition to, from trying to call half the country racists to now trying to call half the country fascists.
This is their new play.
And so I said this on television intentionally.
And I'd love your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
If you felt I went too intense, some people said, Charlie, you can't call them fascists.
Oh, well, I just did.
But you think the only way to stop them from calling half the country fascist, this is what they do.
They try a balloon it and then they message it is to call them that very same thing immediately, out of the gate, unapologetically.
The World Economic Forum is a fascist enterprise of the merging of state and private business into one.
Look at the proof in front of you.
They punish dissent.
They work back channel with Facebook.
You have the Federal Bureau of Investigation showing up to Facebook saying, please censor this story for us.
How is that not fascist?
You have the FBI raiding the home of a former president.
How is that not fascist?
You have a government that says if you do not take an experimental gene therapy, you're not able to get a job.
How is that not fascist?
They're the ones that commit political violence.
They are the ones that use state power for their own means.
And so I'm not going to just say, well, yeah, that's a terrible thing to say.
No, no, no, no.
Equal and opposite reaction.
They are counting on our decency.
And that's fine.
We can remain decent, but that doesn't mean we have to be weak.
They don't like it when you call them fascists.
They don't like it, but that's who they are.
You see, I've lived through this for 10 years.
Every time they call us something extraordinary, oh, deplorable this, we kind of say, oh, that's so reprehensible.
That's terrible.
And we never respond in kind.
Of course, they're fascists.
They're transparently fascists.
Anytime they say, say, no, actually, you're a fascist.
Let me ask you this: who's the fascist?
The one that wants school choice and parental rights, or the one that is willing to take a child away from a parent without their consent and get them chemically castrated.
That's pharmaceutical fascism, if you ask me.
Who's the fascist exactly?
The one that wants a free and open internet, or the one that works via the CDC and the FDA to go shut up a singular dissident researcher and journalist, Alex Berenson.
Sounds like fascism to me.
Alex Berenson, a former New York Times columnist, has now said in his lawsuit there is evidence the Biden White House was back channeling with Twitter to shut him up.
Boy, that sounds like jack-booted, thuggery Mussolini-type tactics, Mr. Biden.
If we allow them to frame us as fascists, then some swing voters might get really scared.
Okay, who is the fascist?
Mark Kelly's a fascist.
He voted for 87,000 IRS agents to intimidate small businesses.
So is Kirsten Cinema, Raphael Warnock?
Losing the Listening Game 00:04:43
The time of playing nice is over.
And I said this on the program, and I'll say it again, and I will defend it, which is this: which is they started it.
If all of a sudden you're now going to call us semi-fascists, we'll call you ultra-fascists because that's who you are.
You are all, it's all the different, it's the same essence.
It's the same thing, it's the same substance, but maybe a different flavor: fascism, Marxism, socialism.
It's all totalitarianism.
The necessary ingredient for fascism is the state's total domination of all aspects of life, including economic life.
Mussolini defined fascism as everything in the state.
Nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.
And now the other side, they're freaking out because they know the race card doesn't work anymore.
The Me Too card doesn't work anymore.
The Ukraine card never worked.
And so now they have to do something different, which is we're just going to call half the country fascists, as if they're in the mold of Mussolini or in the mold of the National Socialist Workers' Party in the 1930s.
They're not good at defense.
The left is an amazing offensive operation.
When they play offense, they're good.
When they play defense, they crumble.
This is why they need to try to indict Donald Trump.
Donald Trump, despite all of his faults, and I know we get tons of emails from you, Charlie, I hate Trump.
I don't care.
Okay, I don't want to hear it.
One thing Trump was great at, nonstop offense.
The left hates playing defense.
They're not good at it.
All they know is how to project and how to make themselves seem bigger than they actually are.
They are a political movement of a mirage.
When they actually have to get on their heels and play defense, school boards, Second Amendment, they lose and they lose big.
When we set the terms of engagement, we win.
But Republicans, there's this, it's so frustrating.
I'm trying to shake people out of it.
What I said on Fox Slides, who's been trending everywhere, shouldn't be controversial at all, is that the essence that I'm trying to get Republicans to understand and consider is that the country you grew up in is no longer around.
You see, people are afraid to call the other side fascists because they say, well, Charlie, that's going to descend us into a very bad place.
Yeah, we're in a very bad place right now.
They're the reckless and irresponsible ones.
The president of the United States, Joe Biden, called half the country fascists.
How do you respond?
With a press conference?
With a letter?
How do you respond?
Suggesting corporate tax rates?
Or how about a retreat in Jackson Hole?
We win when we play offense.
We lose when we play defense.
These are fascist groomers.
They do this intentionally, and they have for quite some time.
And you can see how the media reacts.
They don't like it when we start talking like this because they know when we start talking like this, they're going to lose.
They know it.
And I will not apologize.

I will take a victory lap saying and defending the fact that the fascist grooming degenerate left needs to be called out for the core philosophy of what they believe.
They do not believe in a free society.
It's that simple.
It's free society versus authoritarianism.
You can call it, all these terms are applicable.
If you call them Marxists, that's fine.
If you call them communists, that's okay.
If you call them socialists, okay.
If you call them fascists, that's fine.
But I think actually fascism is the most appropriate term.
The merging of state and government interests.
They're able to call us whatever we want.
And Republicans say, well, we need to get back to a policy debate.
If you want a policy debate, go to a coffee shop and have one with some sort of a professor that probably got fired.
If you want a policy debate, you're in the wrong place in the wrong time.
Go wear a bow tie and go do a Skype call with some irrelevant think tank person.
