Republican Candidates in California 00:10:25
Hello, everybody.
Today in the Charlie Kirk Show, we have two candidates running for office that I think are really interesting and worthy of our support.
Kevin Kiley running for Congress in California and Congressman Mill Brooks running for Senate in Alabama.
Some great conversations about the future of the Republican Party.
And if you live in Alabama or you live in that area of California, listen and text it to your friends.
Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.

Happy 10 years, everybody.
Thank you for supporting us at Turning Point USA.
The next 10 will be even better.
Buckle up, everybody.
Here we go.
Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
I want to thank Charlie.
He's an incredible guy.
His spirit, his love of this country.
He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
That's why we are here.
Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
We are going to be talking to two candidates that I believe deserve to be in Congress.
One in, I think they still call it the upper chamber and the lower chamber.
They still have that expression, Connor.
I don't know.
One in the House and one in the Senate.
And they're both doing a wonderful job, and they both have primaries coming up.
And so, first, we have Kevin Kiley from California, who is one of the few conservatives in California, and he does a great job.
Kevin, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show.
Thanks, Charlie.
Great to be with you.
So, your race is tomorrow.
Is that right?
It is.
Tell us about your race.
Tell us about, is there a potential for a runoff?
So, how does it work?
It's the top two.
Is it like a jungle primary?
How does it work?
Yeah, California has this crazy top two system, which is a total mess.
It's made kind of a joke of our election system.
In many races in the state, actually, you now have the Democrats are spending tons of money to prop up the Republican that they want to run against in the general.
It's this sort of pick your opponent strategy.
Fortunately, we don't have any shenanigans like that in my race.
I just have one Republican opponent.
There are two Democrats on the ballot.
So you're very likely to have a Dem on Republican runoff.
And I've gotten the support of President Trump.
Things are going well, and we're just trying to get across the finish line here.
It's the only open seat in Congress that's a Republican district in California.
So it's a really important one in terms of winning back the majority and making it be the right type of majority that's actually going to do something to get the country back on track.
So this kind of crazy system, is it conceivable that you'll be up against another Republican coming in in November?
It's conceivable, and that does happen.
I mean, more often, it's two Democrats running against one another.
And it's theoretically possible, although in this case, it's probably very unlikely.
Okay, so it's likely that it will be you and a Democrat, basically.
That's right.
So tell us about your race.
Where, I mean, that the gerrymandering is insane.
They just sent me, is that his district?
That looks like a crowbar, a picture of your district.
Yeah, we got Tahoe and Death Valley in one district.
So go figure.
Okay, so it's a lot of farming country there, right?
And it's a Republican tilt district.
Tell us about what are your, what are the people in your district worried about?
What are the top issues on their mind?
Well, I think people are seeing, you know, everything that has happened in California with Gavin Newsom, the Democrat supermajority, which is driving our state into the ground.
They see that now Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden are doing the same thing to the country.
And so there is sort of a desire and demand for change, unlike anything I've ever seen in politics.
And I've been fighting these battles in California against Newsome, against the Democrats at the Capitol.
And, you know, that's sort of the mentality I'm going to take to Congress to make sure that we do not let these radical failed policies ruin our country in the same way they're ruining our state.
But if the particular issues, I mean, number one is inflation or immigration are probably the top two, rising crime rates and all of the mandates and just sort of authoritarian policies that we've gotten used to in California and that have been adopted by the Biden administration.
Those are probably the things at the top of the list.
And I just want to reinforce this.
You know, sometimes, so we have our turning point action and turning point pack, and we're doing a lot of different things.
And some of our donors sometimes say, Charlie, why are you doing anything in California?
They're wrong.
Can you talk about how if we don't win some of these seats in California, we can't take back the House of Representatives?
Well, yeah, that's a great point.
Some of the, you know, this district, for example, this is a lean Republican district.
It is absolutely a seat that we need to win if we're going to take back control of Congress.
And so California is one of the most important battlegrounds when it comes to winning back the House.
But beyond that, you know, Gavin Newsom has said that California is a model for the nation.
And there's this sense that, you know, as California goes, so goes the country for better or worse.
And so that's what I say to all the folks who are leaving our state.
People are leaving California right now in record numbers because of these dramatic policy failures, is that if the same thing happens to America, then where are you going to go?
And so I've tried to, that's one of the points I've tried to make in this campaign is that California has a very important role to play in the battles ahead to tell our story, just to tell the story of California's decline, of how we have out of control homelessness, surging crime, crumbling infrastructure, more poverty than any state in the country, failing public schools.
The list goes on and it is a direct result of the radical failed policies that we've in politics that we've had in this state.
Yeah.
And so when we look at taking back the House of Representatives, I think that activists and donors in particular, even people that just give like 100 bucks and 50 bucks there, which are so important, they need to recognize and realize there's battleground districts in every state, in Illinois and in California and in New York.
Do you feel at times that, you know, it's tough to kind of get national support in California?
It's kind of just like we're going to raise the money and then go bring it elsewhere.
Yeah, you know, there has been that sense, especially when it comes to the state level.
But I think that, you know, folks realize that when it comes to control of Congress, California has the most seats in Congress.
And so we absolutely need to have donors and activists and volunteers active in the seats that are winnable here.
And we have some really good pickup opportunities across the state.
The district I'm running in, by the way, is an open seat.
There's no incumbent.
It's just sort of, you know, a creation of the redistricting process.
And it's the sort of seat that's got kind of a plus five voter registration advantage.
President Trump won it by about two points.
So it's exactly, if we don't win a seat like this, then that could put our chances of winning the House in jeopardy.
So it's very important that folks invest in every way they can in bases in California.
Yeah, I say this all the time, that if California was half as bad, I would live in California, just half.
Just like if it was, it's so, it's gotten to be so bad, but it is the most beautiful place on the planet.
It's just awesome.
And some of the people are great.
There's a lot of great people in California.
Some not so great people.
But there's the great, I will say, though, do you see kind of a fighting spirit, though?
I mean, I see kind of a remnant of people that are going to double and triple down and they know what they're up against.
Talk to us about that.
Oh, totally.
So yeah, a lot of people are leaving.
This is true.
For the last couple of years, we finally reached a breaking point where more people are leaving California that are coming, despite all of the natural advantages that you just alluded to.
But there are also a lot of people staying and saying we're going to stay and fight.
And by the way, it's not just Republicans.
So look what's going on in San Francisco right now.
San Francisco is like the most liberal city in the entire country.
They already recalled three of their school board members by overwhelming margins, like 75% of the vote.
These were school board members who refused to open schools who are all on board with the draconian mandates.
The citizens of San Francisco recalled these people overwhelmingly.
And in the election tomorrow, the polls indicate that their district attorney, the Soros-backed DA, who's refused to prosecute anyone, he's going to be recalled from office overwhelmingly.
We're seeing a similar thing happen in Los Angeles.
And so I do think, and I see it, by the way, every place I go.
When I hold campaign events, I have people who tell me they've never voted Republican before.
They're going to vote differently this year because they've just had it, because they've seen the results of these radical failed policies.
And, you know, they're ready to try something new.
Yeah, I think that's really important.
And also, Gascon movement is also big.
Tomorrow, they also, they might, you might get a non-commie mayor tomorrow in LA, Caruso, who I don't know where he stands on stuff, but I'm being told by even conservatives in LA, he's not terrible.
That's what I'm being told.
That Caruso used to be a Republican.
I mean, I'm not, I don't live in LA and have no plans to live in LA, but certainly a you know, a non non-left-winger as a mayor of LA would be great.
So, in closing, here, you would be part of a freshman class that I think would have to operate with a pretty, you know, let's say a sense of urgency.
People are fed up, people want answers.
You know, you go into Congress, what would kind of be your niche?
Every congressman tries to find a niche.
What policies, what issues, what topics would you take if elected to Congress?
Well, first, what you said is so important that we need to actually have a Congress that's going to go and do something.
When I talk to people who are Republicans, who are activists, they are as frustrated often with the Republicans as the Democrats because we get control of Congress, we get a majority, and then we don't do anything with it.
And so, even if we don't have the White House in the next two years, we need to actually step forward and take action immediately by using the full investigatory and oversight powers of the House of Representatives to rein in the Biden administration to stop this agenda from going even an inch forward further.
But I think that, you know, for me, I think that the number one priority of the new Congress is going to be to turn the economy around.
I mean, people are feeling the effects of outrageous gas prices and inflation in all facets of their life.
And so, if we can step forward with immediate solutions there, then that's going to set us on the right path to win back the White House as well in 2024.
We got an email about you, Kevin.
It starts interesting.
No, it's actually pretty good.
You'll like it.
Hi, Charlie.
I met Kevin and I live in his district.
The only reason I would not vote for him is because California still needs him badly.
But since I, too, believe we need to take back the country and we'll be part of a max mass exodus from the state, I'd love to see him in Congress.
He has my vote.
So there you go.
All right.
I'll take it.

I just want to talk more about our young women's leadership summit.
And it's amazing.
So you have the whole drag queen circus that is ongoing in Dallas.
And we have our young women's leadership summit, which is now, it's really been an interesting thing because usually when we have one of these conferences, the media reaction is immediate.
There's been a little bit of a delay effect.
I think the media might have been too busy at pride parades or something over the weekend.
They're super distracted.
And so now they're all kind of cascading down to cover our women's summit, trying their best to try to find something wrong with our event.
And there was nothing wrong with our event.
I thought it was the best event we have to date.
And credit to our Turning Point USA events team that did a phenomenal job and credit to our field staff.
They did such an amazing job to get people there.
And you know, it was so awesome is when we asked how many of you this was your first young women's leadership summit, I'd say 80% of the hands go up.
And that's just amazing.
So it's not the same people every single year that are coming.
And it's people they come, they get training, they get filled up.
It's just awesome.
And so we're bringing new people into the movement.
As they graduate, bring new people in.
As they graduate, we bring new people in.
So we got this email from this person, Claire.
Sounds like a miserable person.
She says, I'm a reporter for the Daily Dot.
We're covering criticisms of your recent summit for young women, at which speaker after speaker urged the crowd of 15 to 26-year-old women to get married, have children, and be subservient to their husbands.
Okay, first of all, no one said to be subservient to their husbands.
We did say that as women and as wives, be open to being led.
That's what we did say.
And we said, find a man that is worthy of you and how beautiful and special you are.
And find a man that is willing to lead in a tumultuous and chaotic world.
That is what we did say.
We didn't say, be subservient.
Many people feel this is misogynistic.
Hold on.
This is a journalist writing.
Many people.
Lots of people are saying.
Many people.
What kind of a journalist writes that?
Many people.
Yeah, so specific.
And many of your cat people friends believe that this is misogynistic and essentially a call to turn back the clock on women's equality.
Some further took Benny Johnson telling the crowd to have American babies as a code for white Christian Republican babies.
Okay, if you think American means white and Christian, maybe you're the racist Claire.
Maybe American babies.
I mean, by the way, we had an amazingly diverse crowd there.
We had Hispanics, we had blacks, we had amazing.
What kind of racist are you?
Do you have any comment?
Actually, our comment is us responding right now that you're just not a very happy person, that you try to destroy others.
And I just want to say this, though, that I think that we do need a culture that does lift up and celebrate marriage.
You can obviously make whatever decision you want in your life, obviously.
But I don't think there's a fair hearing right now for the nuclear family.
I don't.
I don't think there's a fair hearing for the entire kind of journey that you could be on to find a partner and marry them.
I don't think that is properly presented to young people at all.
Everyone else says, go be a boss babe and go graduate from college and go work for some weird company, earn all your money and travel the world.
And then when you're 32 or 33, you could start looking.
And the problem is, you might not find an adequate partner at that age.
The clock does tick.
And they say, oh, you could freeze your eggs.
Like, okay, maybe.
And again, everyone has a different path and different journey.
I waited till I was 28.
No, hello.
I was 27 when I got married.
And look, there's just no guarantees.
You have to be open-minded wherever God is going to lead you, obviously.
But there is kind of a culture that has set in, which is marriage is terrible.
It's awful.
It's beautiful.
It's lovely.
It's amazing.
It's something I want for all people.
And again, you can make whatever decision you want.
That wasn't the point.
And the one thing the reporter did kind of get right is that, yes, there was an urge.
Of course, there was an urge.
Obviously, if there's something that has worked for a long period of time, why wouldn't we want to urge young people to go do that beautiful thing?
There was not an insistence.
And by the way, there also wasn't like a shaming.
Like, if you don't do these things, you know, you're never going to, it's like, it's just, instead, it's a glorification of the beautiful good, the good, the true, and the beautiful.
That's awesome.
And yet the media immediately portrays it as you want to turn back the clock on women's equality.
Hold on.
You mean that there might be something to the fact that women were actually happier at a certain period of time than like going to pursue a corporate career at all costs?
Every study shows that women that are married and have children by the age of 35 or 40 are much happier in every single category than women that are not.
Again, make whatever decision you want.
I'm a big fan of choice and agency.
But I think in our culture, a fair hearing, a glorification of the ideal of marriage is something that we should continue to do.
And I was so proud of our event.
I think it was awesome.
It's really out of control.
Inflation is at a 40-year high.
Your cash is getting sucked right out of your wallet with higher prices on gas, groceries, practically everything.
Look, you got to take charge of your money right now.
So here's a principle that we say: don't use the big banks that hate you.
Bank of America is canceling conservatives.
A team member that we have at Turning Point USA literally just had his bank account shut down by Bank of America.
Literally, no longer allowed to use Bank of America because of his politics.
True story.
So when you want to consolidate your debt and use equity in your home to do so to lower your monthly expenses, you have to use my friends, Andrew and Todd, at andrewandtodd.com.
You have to know what you're going through.
So look, I just had dinner with Andrew and Todd in Orange County.
We had a great time.
They love the Lord.
They know the Bible super well.
They're ethical.
They're beautiful people.
They really are.
They're wonderful.
And Andrew and Todd aren't brokers.
They're bankers who handle your refi loan personally from start to finish.
And they're always in your corner.
In fact, they're helping me with the problem right now.
Just all this nonsense with interest rates and all this.
They're helping me clarify it.
They're phenomenal to work with.
They're responsive.
They're Christians.
They're conservative.
It's AndrewandTodd.com to beat inflation by lowering your monthly expenses and protect your greatest asset, your home.
So don't use these woke banks.
Bank of America, again, my team member, I'm not going to say his name.
You guys know him.
He's been on our show.
Literally, Bank of America sent him a note saying, we are no longer allowing you to bank with us.
Boom, like that, all because of politics.
Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage share your values.
I trust them.
That's why I work with them.
I hang out with them casually and I've got to know them really well.
They'll treat you right and that when you use them, you're not using Citibank or Chase or these people that hate your values, that believe in this trans nonsense.
Don't use those banks, diversity, equity, inclusion banks.
Nope.
Andrew and Todd at andrewandTodd.com.
So just write that down right now.
Write it in your phone.
You might say, oh, Charlie, I don't need to refinance or whatever.
Well, maybe you will two months from now.
Maybe you young millennials out there, maybe the millennials listening to our show, my fellow millennials, you're going to buy a home soon.
Maybe you're getting married and you want to buy something.
It's AndrewandTodd.com for a quick mortgage checkup.
Use the equity in your home before it's too late.
Go to andrewandtodd.com.
That's andrewandodd.com.
Stop giving money to people who hate you.
AndrewandTodd.com love the Lord.
They love America.
And they're great friends.
So I encourage you to use them as your go-to partner for anything mortgage-related.
Stop using the banks who hate you, andrewandTodd.com.
Putting Citizens First Over Immigration 00:16:01
Look, I got to be very honest.
I don't give out these kind of compliments lightly.
I am, I'm a tough grader, as many of you know.
Rarely do I see a piece of art in the conservative political space where I just kind of say it's phenomenal.
And Matt Walsh's documentary, What is a Woman, is special.
I'm telling you.
I came in with some, I was like, all right, another one of these kind of documentaries.
And it's good.
It's very, very, very good.
In fact, it's so good.
We've partnered with the Daily Wire, dailywirey.com slash Charlie, just to help promote it.
We just had Matt at our Young Women's Leadership Summit.
I mean, there's some clips from there that it's hilarious.
It's entertaining.
It is eye-opening.
It's, I just, from one content creator to the other, I have respect.
I really do.
Okay, there is a couple primary races that are heating up and bubbling up across the country, and one in the beautiful, amazing state of Alabama in particular, that is promising to kind of be an inflection point of what is the direction we want the United States Senate to go in.
And there's been all sorts of kind of drama around this race.
And today, it's a runoff.
We have made our endorsement official to Mo Brooks.
And we have it right up here.
Turning point action officially endorses Mo Brooks.
And I endorse Mo Brooks in this runoff for the Alabama Senate race.
And with us right now is Mo Brooks, who I hope will become the next senator from Alabama.
Welcome to the program.
My pleasure.
And thank you so much for the endorsement.
It's very, very meaningful.
You guys have a great reputation in the state of Alabama for conservative values and in particular, moral values, which are so absent in Washington, D.C.
That is totally true.
And so I want to just first compliment you.
I was looking at the race from afar, and I thought the way that you handled the 2,000 mules deal on television was just awesome.
And it's very rare to see a politician kind of push back and willing to kind of talk about this.
So we have, I think it's cut 36 on the sheet.
So let's play this and I'd love to get your reaction.
Play cut 36.
Still no evidence or proof provided that there was any sort of fraud in that.
Well, no, that's wrong.
I don't know why you people and me keep saying that, but that is absolutely false.
That is absolutely false.
You keep saying it every time, but that's absolutely false.
That elections are going to be stolen if we don't fix these problems and those problems were not fixed.
So I don't know who's telling you there's no evidence, but that tells me you haven't done your homework.
I'm sorry.
That's the way it is.
The courts and the judges that have timeouts.
Don't go into that.
The courts do not have the...
Wait a minute.
No, no, I'm getting in the last word on this one because you just made a false statement, okay?
The courts are not the final arbiter of who wins federal election contests.
Congress is.
Your reaction to that kind of back and forth.
Well, it's most unfortunate, but so many people in the news media, the talking heads, they don't do their homework.
They're generalists.
There absolutely was an enormous amount of voter fraud and election theft activity in the 2020 elections.
And all you have to do is go back to the 2005 bipartisan report by the Commission on Federal Election Reform.
Their task was to identify the systemic flaws in our election system that could result in stolen elections.
They did their job.
It was bipartisan, headed up by Democrat President Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan, White House Chief of Staff James Baker.
And they warned that if these problems are not fixed, then you're going to have winners declared losers and losers declared winners.
And instead of fixing the problems, what the Democrats did was look at that report and exploited the systemic weaknesses that the Commission on Federal Election Reform had identified.
So your race is coming up when?
It is just 15 days away, June 21st.
I'm against, it's in a Republican primary theoretically, but my principal opponent has become the Democrat nominee in the Republican primary.
This past Friday, the executive director of the Alabama Democratic Party made some very strong words in favor of electing Katie Britt to the United States Senate.
So that gives you an idea of what I'm up against.
It's not only the Democratic Party, but also it's the Powercrats in Washington, D.C., the Mitch McConnells of the world, the special interest.
So it's the people versus the Democrats and the Powercrats.
And I hope the American people, particularly the people of the state of Alabama, will do their homework to discern what is in the best interest of our country.
And if they do their homework, then I'm comfortable that we'll win that election.
So you and I both have a lot of respect for President Trump.
There's just kind of been some confusion for some people with that whole deal.
And part of us endorsing you is I'm going to encourage the president to re-endorse you.
Can you kind of help our audience through that?
I think it's, I think we have to have a light heart about it, right?
So walk our audience through it.
Well, Donald Trump does what Donald Trump is going to do whenever Donald Trump wants to do it.
Often he is correct.
Sometimes he makes mistakes.
I would submit that in the Alabama Senate race, not one of his better decisions.
I clearly am the MAGA candidate.
I am the conservative.
I have the track record.
Katie Britt, my foe in this primary, is clearly never Trump, anti-MAGA, a part of the Mitch McConnell machine.
She's a part of the special interests that run Washington, D.C., what we call the swamp.
And for that matter, she's a part of the swamp in as much as she's been a professional lobbyist five of the last seven years.
You can't get any more of a swamp creature than being one of the registered lobbyists who push special interest agendas rather than what's in the best interest of our country.
So hopefully the people of the state of Alabama will figure this out slowly, but surely they are.
We hit rock bottom after Donald Trump withdrew his endorsement back in March for a number of reasons, but you really have to get to him.
I'm not sure if I'm the right person to explain what I think is the primary reason that he withdrew his endorsement.
But since then, as the public has figured out that I am the MAGA candidate, that I am the conservative in this race, that my opponent is being supported by the Democrat Party, they're coming aboard and they're coming aboard strong.
I've got a quote from the executive director of the Alabama Democratic Party that was uttered this past Friday.
It's a tweet, so it only takes about 30 seconds.
If you want me to read it to you, please do.
That's helpful.
It's very problematic in a lot of different ways.
This is what Alabama Democratic Party executive director Wade Perry said about Katie Britt this past Friday.
Also bear in mind that he was liberal Democrat Doug Jones, became a senator from Red Race, Red, Ruby Red, Alabama.
He was Doug Jones' campaign manager.
So he has inside knowledge, good knowledge about what Katie Britt did to help elect a liberal pro-abortion candidate in the state of Alabama.
Here's his quote.
Yep, she's referring to Katie Britt.
Pretty awesome.
Super helpful to us in the Doug Jones thing in 2017 and showed real leadership in supporting the gas tax increase for needed infrastructure improvements.
I think the world of her, most Dems understand she just has to say certain things, end quote, in order to win a Republican primary.
And if you've kept track of this campaign, I've tried to do the honorable thing, describing things in a truthful fashion, while the other side of the coin, they have been unabashedly, unashamably, stridently dishonest, both in attacking my reputation and my record.
And the same thing with Mike Durant, who's an American war hero and who also has helped create hundreds of good paying jobs in the Tennessee Valley part of the state of Alabama.
So they're vicious, no rules barred.
They don't care what the truth is.
They covet this Senate position more than they covet the truth.
And that's what I'm battling.
It's the people versus the Democrats and the Powercrats.
And I hope Alabamians will discern enough to make a good decision for our country because our destiny depends on it.
So one of the issues that I know is on a lot of people's mind in Alabama is the issue of immigration.
And I certainly had my disagreements with Senator Sessions and then Attorney General Sessions, how he handled the Russia situation.
However, I will say I really admired his stance on immigration.
Can you talk about that?
I think that would be a good contrast point with your opponent talking about kind of the mass immigration versus putting our citizens first.
Jeff Sessions and I were covering copies of each other concerning border security and the huge influx of illegal alien labor that is undermining American jobs and wages of struggling American families.
I'm willing to do anything I can possibly do to give us border security and protect American families from the unfair competition of these surges of cheap foreign labor that the Chamber of Commerce, masters of the universe crowd, want to inflict upon struggling American families.
And so Jeff Sessions and I teamed together to help stop the Gang of Eight Amnesty Bill in the latter part of the Obama administration.
When Paul Ryan was the Speaker of the House, I was the guy that reached an agreement with Paul Ryan that Paul Ryan signed that said there will be no amnesty of any kind voted on the House floor unless first there is a vote of the GOP conference approving that amnesty legislation.
So I fight the Democrats tooth and nail.
Unfortunately, I'm also forced to fight rhino Republicans who support open borders and cheap foreign labor because there's money in it for their campaigns from the United States Chamber of Commerce, from Big Ag, from a lot of different special interest groups that again care more about their profit than they care about the United States of America and the American citizens who are being hurt by these tsunamis of cheap foreign labors.
Absolutely the worst thing to do when you have horrible inflation that is undermining wages.
I just want everyone to understand the significance of that answer because that question is one that moderate Republicans can't hide from.
They could talk a good game on inflation.
You probably have an identical shtick.
They could talk an okay game on taxes, but immigration, they can't hide from it because the Chamber of Commerce, they want mass amounts of foreign labor to pour into America that would depress jobs in Alabama.
The other issue is trade.
Can I interrupt just for a second?
Yes, please.
We're talking about border security.
Katie Britt was the president of the representative of the United States Chamber of Commerce in the state of Alabama, and she is an open borders, cheap foreign labor lobbyist and supporter.
And how do we know that?
Because every single special interest group that profits from cheap foreign labor has endorsed Katie Britt in this Senate race, and they are funding her campaign with millions of dollars.
That's what's funding these dishonest attack ads against me.
That's an important point.
I mean, we don't like the chamber at all.
And you can go read the Chamber of Commerce's website, Mass Foreign Labor.
By the way, they're pushing all this transgender stuff now, diversity, equity, inclusion.
Remember, the chamber is for mass, not just mass immigration, but cheap foreign products from foreign countries coming in.
So that's a really important distinction.
And that's something that I really think that Senator Sessions, who I honestly look back, wish he never would have left the Senate in some sense, because he was good on those issues.
He was really good on the immigration trade issue.
He was great.
I just think he messed up.
On border security, absolutely the best in the United States Senate.
Yeah, and he just totally messed up on the Russia recusal thing.
And so I just want to reemphasize for our audience: you know, if you have friends in Alabama, we got to kind of get a grassroots thing going here.
The election is two weeks out.
And most people in these vote day of.
Is that right?
Is that correct?
In Alabama, that is correct.
You have to have a legitimate excuse in order to get an absentee ballot, such as you're handicapped and can't get to the polls or you're out of state, something big.
We do not do this horrible mass mail out of ballots that causes so much voter fraud.

So let's talk about another issue here, which is trade.
Alabama is well known as being a strong manufacturing state, the backbone of some of the kind of industrial prowess that America has enjoyed over the last 100 years, in particular, the ability to make iron.
So tell us, what is your stance on trade and why is that Republicans can't get their act together?
Well, the reason the Republicans don't get their act together is, again, follow the money.
By way of example, Mitch McConnell is famous for believing in power politics.
And the way you get the money to deploy power politics tactics in a campaign is you do what the special interest groups want you to do.
And if you do that, then you'll get rewarded with tens of millions of dollars that you can then use in elections with which to pummel your opponents with negative false attack ads.
I disagree with that method of government.
I believe that the challenge is for us to do a good job.
And if we do a good job, then the public will re-elect us.
And that's an anathema to the Mitch McConnell team and the way in which they try to govern things.
That is one of the reasons why they do not want me in the United States Senate.
After all, I am one of the founding members of the House Freedom Caucus.
You know, people like Mark Meadows, Mick Mulvaney, Jim Jordan, Ron DeSantis down in Florida.
We're all part of that same group.
We only invite people to participate if we believe that they're both conservative and they have the backbone to fight for the conservative values that they say they believe in when they're running for election.
So on foreign policy, excuse me, foreign trade, we have to recognize that there are some entities around the globe that take advantage of us, China being the number one perpetrator of unfair trade practices against the United States of America.
That's why we have over $300 billion a year that hemorrhages from our economy to the Chinese Communist Party's economy.
We don't have fair trade laws with Communist China.
And by way of example, they use slave labor.
And an American manufacturer cannot compete against slave labor.
So we have to be extraordinarily tough against the Communist Chinese Party's way of competing unfairly against American manufacturers.
And if we'll balance that playing field a little bit, then we'll have some of those manufacturing jobs returning to the United States of America, and Americans will have a better opportunity to make a better living.
That's awesome.
So in closing here, as a senator, you know, there's senators that go and really change how things work.
That's why we got behind JD Vance.
That's why we got behind you and why there's a lot of these other exciting candidates.
Josh Hawley is just phenomenal.
Can you just give our listeners and the people listening in Alabama just kind of a final guarantee that you're going to go to the Senate and you're going to really fight?
You're not just going to go to get along.
Final Guarantee for Senate Fight 00:02:23
Because I think that's a big concern that people have, which is people that say one thing and they do the other, and then you just kind of vote for them in the general because it's a lesser of two evils.
What are your thoughts on that?
Well, you can look at my background to rest assured that I'm going to do what I say I'm going to do because I've held elected office.
My opponent has not been so much elected to the position of dog catcher or anything better than that.
So in effect, my opponent can parrot back to the public what the polls say that she should say, regardless of whether she believes what she's really saying.
And quite frankly, there are a lot of instances in which she flip-flops diametrically opposing positions.
And then there are also a lot of instances in which she says one thing to get your vote, which is diametrically opposed to her history.
By way of example, she signed Grover Norquest no taxes pledge after having her history in the state of Alabama is raising more taxes than any other Republican candidate in the history of the state of Alabama.
That's a big distinction.
But with me, I've been in public life.
You can look at my record.
You can verify that I'm going to do what I say I'm going to do.
That's why you know I'm going to be strong on border security because I've done it.
That's why Numbers USA has given me an A-plus grade every single year in the United States Congress.
You know I'm pro-life because I've done it.
And that's why National Right to Life has graded me an A every year I've been in the United States Congress.
You know I'm going to defend the Second Amendment right to bear arms because I've done it.
That's why the NRA, Gun Owners of America, the National Association of Gun Rights have all endorsed me for the United States Senate and the state of Alabama.
So it really comes down to this.
It's the people, regular Joe and Jane citizen versus the special interest groups, the Democrats and the Powercrats.
And these people have the money.
They have the deception.
My trust is in the American people to discern the truth.
And if they do that, we'll do just fine.
But it's a challenge because of all the deception put out by the KPIs.
It is a challenge.
And I hope in the next week or two, we'll start to see some stuff out of Mar-a-Lagu or Benminster, and we'll see what happens.
But we're behind you.
Congressmen, keep fighting and reject the chamber at all costs.
It's one of the main reasons we endorsed you.
Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for listening, everybody.
