Bush, Biden, and Obama: Children of the Same Foul Spirit
Charlie takes on the sinister speech by former President Bush, where he shamefully equated 75 million American patriots to the terrorists who took down the World Trade Center towers on 9/11 as "children of the same foul spirt." Dissecting the language games and the diction of the 43rd president, Charlie details how Bush, although a Republican, represents degrees of the same failed trajectory of American politics that has led to the cold Civil War we're living through now. Then Charlie asks a provocative question: Why is it that a failed Navy football offensive coordinators get fired for an 0-2 start to the football season while military generals still have a job after the surrender in Afghanistan? Finally, Tony Blinken gets grilled by Congress, and Charlie gives an update on claims of election fraud in California's recall election. Bush's Bizarre 9-11 Speech00:10:14
Hey everybody, George W. Bush gives a bizarre speech to remember 9-11.
We also ask, why is it that Navy football coaches get fired, but generals do not?

Over the weekend, George W. Bush spoke at a 9-11 memorial, and he said it in somewhat of a code.
And some people are taking this in different ways.
Let's listen to what he has to say for himself.
George W. Bush said that, quote, there is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists here.
But in their disdain for pluralism, in their disregard for human life, in their determination to defile our national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit.
Now, some people on the right said, oh, he's talking about Antifa.
No way.
Okay.
Not even close.
He's talking about conservatives.
And in particular, he's trying to tie it with what happened on January 6th.
Now, you must understand something.
There is no difference between George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
No difference.
The only difference would be what they say about life and maybe some judges they put on the Supreme Court.
That's the kind of box they want you to live in.
They want you to live in a political box where the ruling class remains, but you get different excuses and reasons for that between families that joust for power.
But they're both going to do practically the exact same thing.
George W. Bush and Barack Obama, they have the same sort of worldview when it comes to trade, when it comes to immigration, when it comes to foreign policy.
So play tape here, cut 15.
George W. Bush taking time on 9-11 to basically say as a former president, the president who, by the way, who lied about the war on terror, the president who lied about weapons of mass destruction, the president who invaded Iraq unnecessarily, he's now telling us, hey, you know where the real war on terror is?
It's around your corner.
It's your neighbor.
It could be your family member.
George W. Bush is beating the drums of war against his fellow countrymen.
Play Cut 15.
That the dangers to our country can come not only across borders, but from violence that gathers within.
There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home.
But in their disdain for pluralism and their disregard for human life and their determination to defile national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit, and it is our continuing duty to confront them.
Now, he was vague enough where he could squeak out of it, but we know exactly who he's talking about.
He's trying to misrepresent 70 million people in this country that are being miscategorized to have a belief that they don't actually have.
And what did Joe Biden have to say about it?
Joe Biden's a big George W. Bush fan.
Joe Biden says, what a great speech.
It's about who we are.
Play cut 25.
It's one thing to say.
I know I should step up.
Another thing to do with that.
That's not on the margins.
That's not.
Maybe he did a hero.
I mean, you know, and I just, I just think I thought that President Bush made a really good speech today.
Genuinely good speech about who we are.
We're not.
The core of who we are is not divided.
It's hard to understand what he's saying there, but he said, look, it's about who we are.
It's about who we are.
Look, Bush and Obama and Biden, they're all part of the same sort of agenda.
Open borders, protecting big businesses, defending the war industrial complex.
At the same time, I think it's the same event.
Joe Biden then on cut 24 starts incoherently ranting about boxing and Trump and Florida and Robert E. Lee.
Cut 24.
This idea that, you know, what do you want to do with Biden?
I want to box it.
I should be so lucky.
You know what I mean?
But it is the kinds of things or, you know, stuff that's coming out of Florida, stuff that's coming out of, you know, Robert E. Lee in Afghanistan.
You're the one.
Anyway, I'm telling you too much.
So Donald Trump, just so you understand what you're listening to there, it was an old, random, it was an old man randomly, you know, a despicable old man, by the way.
I'm so tired of people saying Joe Biden's a nice guy.
No, he's not.
He's a despicable person.
He's a morally corrupt, despicable person.
So Joe Biden is going on about a press release that Donald Trump released last week.
Can you re-up it in our chat?
Where Donald Trump said Robert E. Lee was a terrific man, which he was.
Robert E. Lee, by the way, didn't even want the Civil War to happen.
Robert E. Lee was trying to end the Civil War before it started.
Robert E. Lee was a lover of peace.
He only fought because of his love of Virginia, and he was the best general that we had to offer, period.
In fact, if I'm not mistaken, Robert E. Lee went to West Point.
Robert E. Lee had a lot of friends in the Union.
One of the ways that we are able to keep our country together is to be able to still understand our history and honor people that might have been on a different side of a conflict, but not run over the entire population there of people that lost loved ones in that conflict.
Donald Trump said this.
Judge, by the way, they took down Robert E. Lee in Richmond, Virginia.
I will happily try to get my hands on that statue.
I hope they don't destroy it.
That would be a shame, wouldn't it?
Had they destroyed it?
Are you serious they destroyed it?
That's all these people do.
Don't you notice that?
They never build anything meaningful.
They just destroy.
They did destroy it.
They're going to cut it into three.
Don't you notice that there's like a rel, there's a pseudo-secular religious component to this.
Don't you get?
They're cutting it into four points and melting it.
All these people know how to do is destroy.
It's hard to build things.
It's really hard to build things.
It's easy to destroy.
It takes no skill to go get a brick and throw it through a window.
It takes skill to build a building.
So, Robert E. Lee.
So, Trump says it has been long recognized as a beautiful piece of bronze sculpture, which is true.
To add insult to injury, those who support this taking now plan to cut it into three pieces and throw this work of art into storage prior to its complete desecration.
Robert E. Lee is considered by many generals to be the greatest strategist of them all.
President Lincoln wanted him to command the North, in which case the war would have been over in a day.
It's true.
Robert E. Lee instead chose the other side because of his great love of Virginia, and except for Gettysburg, would have won the war.
He should be remembered as perhaps the greatest unifying force after the war was over, ardent in his resolve to bring the North and South together through many means of reconciliation and employing his soldiers to do their duty and becoming good citizens of this country.
And President Trump finishes by saying: our country is being destroyed, and our history and heritage, both good and bad, are being extinguished by the radical left, and we can't let that happen.
So here you have George W. Bush, Joe Biden, they're all reading off the same dance card.
The problem in America are the deplorables.
The problem are the Christians in flyover country.
That's who the issue is.
How did we get here?
We got here because despite the rise of the Chinese Communist Party, which, by the way, I don't think George W. Bush mentioned China in his speech, did he?
Of course not.
Why would George W. Bush mention the greatest threat to America, which is the Chinese Communist Party?
Instead, George W. Bush, I'm surprised he didn't have a mission accomplished banner behind him because he's used to preemptively declaring victory when it's not there.
George W. Bush embodies the worst aspect of the American ruling class.
George W. Bush declared war on a sovereign country that was not an existential threat to America.
George W. Bush expanded government in every single turn when it was really Dick Cheney actually doing that.
Stop The California Recall00:07:01
You want to see who's in charge?
It's George W. Bush, Liz Cheney, and Dick Cheney.
And the entire ruling class cabal.
And you know who they want to?
You know what they want to?
They want to destroy you.
They want to destroy you and your life and your loved ones.

What does the New York Times say?
In California, thriving claims of voter fraud, echoes of 20 in recall.
Baseless theories before election, a new norm on the right by Nick Cornsantanini.
Is it really baseless?
Well, I was with Larry Elder yesterday.
Larry Elder, who might become governor of California.
He's doing very well, raising tons of money.
And I can tell you, they are sending out ballots in every single direction you can imagine.
People are getting ballots regardless if you want one or not.
The New York Times says: as a wave of recent polling indicated that Mr. Newson was likely to brush off his Republican challengers, the baseless allegations accelerated.
Larry Elder, a leader candidate on Fox News, said he was concerned about election fraud.
This swift embrace of false allegations of cheating in California recall efforts recalls a growing instinct on the right to argue that any lost election or ongoing race might be result in defeat, must be marred by fraud.
The relentless falsehoods spread by Mr. Trump and his allies about the 2020 have only fueled such fears.
Well, look at this local news report, cut three, on how Republicans going to polling places are being told that the computer says they have already voted when they actually have not.
Play cut three.
Several people tell us they showed up to vote this morning in the special California governor recall election and were told that computers showed they had already cast their ballots.
So what?
Staffers, they say, were apologetic and helpful, but those voters we talked to are extremely concerned, suspicious, and wanting answers.
And so that's just one polling place.
And we have been hearing stories about this happening all over the state of California.
And so people are asking, Charlie, do you think Larry Elder has a shot?
Of course he does.
He has put them on defense.
Now, Gavin Newsom will be joined by Joe Biden for an election eve rally in Southern California of Long Beach in an effort to convince Golden State Democrats and Independents to hand their ballots in and vote against the recall.
Now, why would Joe Biden be coming in if this was already a done deal?
So having watched a fair amount of football this last weekend in California, I probably saw the Barack Obama ad 20 times.
Would you agree, Andrew?
It is on nonstop.
And it's the same ad over and over again.
You must vote against this recall.
It's not good.
Gavin Newsom, he's a great guy, even though he's done nothing.
You're going to die if you walk outside.
And so they are arguing that, and they're fear-mongering that if Larry Elder becomes governor, then all of a sudden the entire state is going to go into bedlam and into chaos.
If they were so confident that they had this recall in the bag, why is it that they have to spend $100 million to try and defend Gavin Newsom?
Why do they have to keep on running that at Barack Obama ad?
Why do they have to bring Joe Biden out for that rally if they're so confident this is going to happen?
Now it's a tough state.
It's going to be contested, no doubt, but it does open up a question.
It opens up a question of if we are able to challenge the Democrats in California, where else are we able to challenge them?
Here's this Barack Obama ad that they've probably spent $100 million on this ad.
Play tape.
Hello, Californians.
You've got a big choice to make by September 14th.
Governor Newsom has spent the past year and a half protecting California communities.
Now Republicans are trying to recall him from office and overturn common sense COVID safety measures for healthcare workers and school staff.
Your vote could be the difference between protecting our kids and putting them at risk, helping Californians recover or taking us backwards.
Protect California by voting no on the Republican recall.
So do you know what's kind of funny is I kind of want to go backwards.
I want to go back to life in 2015.
I want to go back to life in 2007.
I don't want this right now.
I don't want the taking down of Robert E. Lee, the transgender nonsense, the mass vaccine, the mandatory vaccination campaign.
They make it seem as if, well, yes, we must always be going forward.
The further we go forward under your leadership, Barack Hussein Obama or Barry Sotero, we're progressing into a direction that I don't like.
Don't fall for these one-liners.
Not just with Barack Obama.
I know you won't fall for that.
But we just can't go backwards.
Why can't we go backwards?
Why can't we go back to the way things used to be?
What does that really mean?
They're trying to say that anything that is ancient or old is bad, but we're good because we're new.
Don't fall for that.
Things used to be a lot better than they are right now.
Listen up, Patriots.
One of the most radical plans to reshape the future of America is happening right now, and we need to stop it.
President Biden's plan to pack the U.S. Supreme Court back in April.
The president launched a special judicial commission to what he calls reform the court.
But the real plan is to install four more liberal justices to gain a, quote, automatic majority and ensure favorable rulings for his most radical policies.
And once the court is packed, it will end the rule of law as we know it, which is exactly what happened in Venezuela and Argentina.
Let's be clear.
America is not a banana republic.
Thankfully, my good friends at First Liberty Institute are taking a stand.
They've issued a letter to the commission asking them to reject this radical court packing scheme, and they're not alone.
Franklin Graham, Ed Meese, James Dobson, Tony Perkins, and many more, plus 60,000 others have joined their coalition.
But we need one million.
Add your name now.
Go to supremecoup.com.
That's C-O-U-P.com to sign First Liberty's letter.
That's supremecou.com.
God bless America.
Blinken And College Football00:09:37
When you mess up, hopefully you'll be held accountable, or someone will be held accountable.
Someone is in a position of power conditionally.
One of the characteristics of a country that is in decay is when members of the ruling class cannot be removed.
I grew up in an America when if you oversaw what happened in Afghanistan, you would be forcibly removed and you would be scandalized.
It takes public pressure.
It takes leadership.
It also takes the ability to feel a little bit of shame for things that happen.
Now, there is one part of American society where we hold people accountable, and that's college football.
The offensive coordinator of Navy, after two games, longtime offensive coordinator of the United States Naval Academy, was fired this last weekend.
Ivan Jasper fired after an 0-2 start.
Now, Navy was very good a couple years ago.
They haven't been very good in years.
They lost to Air Force 23-3.
In the first game, they lost to Marshall 49-7.
So let me get this straight.
You lose football games and you're fired at the Department of the Navy because the United States Naval Academy is under the federal government.
13 Marines get killed and you give $85 billion to the Taliban.
Nothing happens to you.
Football coaches get held accountable in America.
Generals do whatever they want.
Giving $85 billion in our most sophisticated weaponry to the Taliban, untouchable.
Don't even ask questions.
In fact, it was a raging success.
And yet, when it comes to football games at the Naval Academy, no tolerance.
Two games.
We lose to Air Force.
You are fired.
What does that tell you?
It tells you a lot of things.
It tells you that we, the American people, won't put up with losing football games, but we will put up with dead Marines.
We're kind of used to that.
But don't you dare say we're going to lose football games.
Don't get in the way of our entertainment.
And does the Navy have any self-awareness?
Of course not, because another characteristic or attribute of a ruling class as they're ruling a country in decay is their seeming indifference towards what people actually think about them.
They just really don't kind of take it seriously.
Yeah, whatever.
We used to hold deserters and people that turn their back on our country accountable.
I'm just going to reinforce this.
Tony Blinken is testifying in front of Congress right now or is about to be very soon about what happened in Afghanistan.
He will keep on having a job.
Tony Blinken is now in the club.
Tony Blinken will be invited to Barack Obama's birthday party for the rest of his life.
Tony Blinken has his, so he has the card into the Cool Kids Club.
But Tony Blinken, he didn't mess up.
It's not like he lost football games.
It's not like Tony Blinken did not have a good offensive strategy.
No, no, no.
Tony Blinken, he only oversaw the withdrawal of the Taliban taking over country that we waged war in for 20 years and helped arm one of our enemies, all the while turning their back on China.
Now, all of this while Tony Blinken, a new audio recording has come out against Tony Blinken at an East Hampton gathering the weekend that Kabul fell.
And in the recording, Blinken is heard making several disparaging comments about the most senior members of the Biden regime.
Now, the audio is not available yet, but we will pull it there.
Now, Florida Representative Greg Stubay, CUT 22, says he's very concerned he won't be able to question Secretary Blinken during this hearing.
And he says Blinken in the past hasn't stayed for the full duration, and he might just leave.
Cut 22.
I'm a military veteran.
I serve on foreign affairs.
And each time Mr. Blinken's come to our committee, he comes, he says he's going to come, and then he only comes for two or three hours.
And because of seniority and being one of the more junior members on the committee, I haven't even had the opportunity to question him or make a statement.
Mr. Blinken, despite the fact that he's refusing to sit there during the entire duration for every member of Congress who has oversight authority on the State Department and on this mission in Afghanistan.
Now, don't get your hopes up too much.
Tony Blinken will dodge and duck and refuse to ask questions directly.
But there's a very simple question that needs to be asked of him and of Mark Milley and of Lloyd Austin, which is this.
What was the deal that was brokered to give our weapons over to the Taliban?
Was that intentional or unintentional?
Because it's very obvious that it was intentional.
What's the deal that was brokered there?
What's the reason for that?
What was the quid pro quo?
We impeached a president for a phone call and for a speech at a rally.
This president is giving $85 billion in weapons to the Taliban.
Now, speaking of football, I watched a little bit NFL.
I try not to watch it.
It's just not the same quality as college football.
It's not the same intensity.
It's just not.
Obviously, the players are better and more athletic, but it's just not the same.
With that being said, I'm now told that they do a black national anthem before every single NFL game.
Bigots.
And so Bill Maher has come out criticizing the NFL for playing the black national anthem.
Good for him.
He's one of the last few honest liberals.
I agree with him on very little.
He's also very secular.
Cut 29.
I saw last night on the football game, Alicia Keys saying, Lift Every Voice and Sing, which now I hear is called the Black National Anthem.
Now, maybe we should get rid of our national anthem, but I think we should have one national anthem.
I think when you go down a road where you're having two different national anthems, colleges sometimes now have, many of them have different graduation ceremonies for black and white, separate dorms.
This is what I mean, segregation.
You've inverted the idea.
We're going back to that under a different name.
Bill Maher is going to get canceled soon, but I think he might be in the uncancelable class.
He might be in kind of a Rogan category because he's smart enough to be able to navigate this.
And Cut 30, Bill Maher says very clearly, the left is embarrassing him.
Cut 30.
To me, when people say to me sometimes, like, boy, you know, you go after the left a lot these days.
Why?
I'm like, because you're embarrassing me.
That's why I'm going after the left in a way you never did before.
Because you're inverting things that I am not going to give up on being liberal.
This is what these teachers are talking about.
That you're taking children and making them hyper-aware of race in a way they wouldn't otherwise be.
I find nothing to disagree with with what he just said.
You see, Bill Maher, there's a great distinction that Dennis Prager talks about, that leftists are evil, liberals are weak.
I don't know if Bill Maher is weak.
I don't know if he's strong, but I don't think Bill Maher is necessarily evil.
I don't think Bill Maher sits up at night thinking about how he could do this.
I don't think Bill Maher is thinking about how to say cut seven, where the New South Wales Australian premier said, if you're not vaccinated, you will not have the freedoms of the vaccine.
I don't think Bill Maher's thinking like this.
I think Bill Maher is perfectly fine with people making their own medical decisions.
It's the death of the liberal, everybody.
And now we are ruled by totalitarians.
Cut seven.
We've said that according to the national roadmap, we'll go and lift further restrictions, including for the unvaccinated.
If you're not vaccinated, you will not have the freedom, all the freedoms that vaccinated people have, even when we get 20% double dose.
And now Fauci has called for Americans to be banned from air travel if you do not have the Chinese coronavirus vaccine.
Regardless of people who have already had the Chinese coronavirus, Fauci doesn't care.
So very soon, I might not be able to fly commercial because of them.
Now, I don't think that'll hold up in court, but it might.
By the way, where's the Americans for Disability Act in the midst of all of this?
Imagine if Fauci, you know, imagine they said, you know, we're not going to allow people in wheelchairs to fly.
We're not going to allow people with immunocompromised immune systems.
Play cut six.
I would support that.
If you want to get on a plane and travel with other people, that you should be vaccinated.
When you hear us say, should you mandate vaccination for children to be able to attend school?
Some people say, oh my goodness, that would be terrible to do that.
But we already do that and have been doing that for decades and decades.
Government Control Or Freedom00:03:21
First of all, you're talking about two completely different things.
You're talking about a polio vaccine or the measles vaccine, and you're talking about this, which is a categorically different type of agent.
Number two, let's go back to the Australian example.
The Soviet Union gave more freedom to their citizens than Australia currently is giving to their people.
Now, remember, there's only two types of government.
There's a government where the people are in control or the masters are in control.
These two types of government are contrasted in almost every single example.
When you look at how people govern themselves, Who's in charge?
Well, it's an unelected, unknown federal bureaucracy of people that are able to call shots for you at every single turn.
20 years ago, our world changed.
Regardless of your views, the fact remains that we lost thousands of lives that horrific morning on September 11th and over the past 20 years since.
Brave men and women in our first responder communities answered the call and rushed into the unknown as we watched in horror as the morning unfolded before our eyes.
343 firefighters were lost that day, and almost all of our first responders who answered that call have perished since.
Minutemen Coffee, being unapologetically patriotic and constitutionally based, honors all of our men and women who serve and have served this amazing country.
Minutemen Coffee is proud to partner with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to bring to America the 9-11 tribute roast and honor all of our first responders and military who have perished since 9-11.
Give back and purchase the 9-11 tribute coffee, and all the net proceeds raised will benefit those heroes whom this amazing foundation serves.
Go to minutemencoffee/slash 9-11.com.
That's minutemencoffee/slash 9-11.com.
Either the government controls people or people control the government.
One of the two.
Founding Fathers gave us a framework and a system that allowed consent to the governed, that had checks and balances that allowed you to control what happened to you and your family.
Victor Davis Hansen, he's my favorite.
He said this so beautifully.
He said, the problem with urban-style government is the founding fathers knew that they would be prone to rumor with a spice of madness.
That is poetry, isn't it?
In a lot of different ways, we are seeing people in rural America be governed by urban America.
This sort of divide was predicted by the founding fathers, and we were warned about this.
This is why federalism has worked as a sustainable model up until recently to allow every single state to be able to choose how they want to govern themselves.
Allow North Dakota to make decisions that are in the best interest of them.
If New York wants to go totally locked down crazy, then so be it.
Public Health Versus Rights00:03:27
The Israeli Minister of Health was caught on a hot mic saying, quote, there is no medical or epidemiological justification for the COVID passport.
It is only intended to pressure the unvaccinated to vaccinate.
You hear that?
There's no epidemiological reason for that.
It's trying to make your life more difficult.
Well, guess what?
You're only strengthening our resolve.
I was never going to get vaccinated as it was.
Well, now we're really not going to.
We're not going to do this just because you tell us.
No medical epidemiological justification for the COVID passport.
It is only intended to pressure the unvaccinated to vaccinate.
And Joe Biden says in cut two, he's going to announce more vaccine measures ahead of the UN General Assembly.
Oh, this is the Surgeon General.
This guy is unbelievable.
What's his name?
Dr. Vivek Murphy says that he's going to monitor whether vaccine exemptions are being used properly.
How about you monitor America's obesity issue?
How about you monitor the flow of drugs coming across the southern border?
No, no, no.
Instead, Vivek Murphy is monitoring whether or not people are getting legitimate vaccine exemptions.
I don't say this lightly.
People say, Charlie, when are we going to live under tyranny?
Congratulations, everybody.
You have arrived.
Play tape.
Now with Delta, which was a new twist, a twist, if you will, a new curveball, it has required us to take another set of actions.
And that's what you heard the president announce.
And there will be more actions that we continue to work on in the days ahead, especially on the global front, where we'll be taking steps and the president will be making announcements ahead of the U.N. General Assembly about additional measures that we're taking to help vaccinate the world.
Did he say to vaccinate the world?
And by the way, this is the same guy who wanted gun violence classified as a public health crisis under Obama.
That's where they're headed, by the way.
They are setting the groundwork.
They are laying the foundation for gun confiscation, for fossil fuel abolition.
This conversation is only beginning.
Every single civil liberty that you enjoy granted to you by God is going to be under attack from these experts and from these people that run the fourth branch of government.
It really does beg the question, is this all about politics or is this about health?
Even if you're listening to this and you're vaccinated, this should concern you to a great degree.
Where all of a sudden Fauci says, yeah, I don't think you should be able to board a plane.
Vivek Murphy says that, yeah, you know, we're going to implement more measures.
For the first time in decades, the director of the CDC is saying that gun violence in America is now a serious public health threat.
