EXPOSED: The Radical Teachers Turning Kids Into Marxist Revolutionaries

With the chaos unfolding overseas, it may be easy to forget that Americans have serious issues that need tackling stateside—especially so, considering the coming yet unwelcome influx of new Afghan neighbors. And as is the case with most terminal threats, they take shape in our nation’s classrooms. Charlie walks through three of the most pressing examples for why our education system needs to be completely uprooted—including a teacher who wants students to pledge allegiance to a “Pride” Flag, a union head hellbent on indoctrination instead of education, and—most concerning of them all—a teacher exposed by the team at Project Veritas whose radicalism you’ll have to hear for yourself to believe. And though each of these examples come from California, don’t think they’re less than micro instances of a much larger Marxist trend. Thankfully, Charlie ends the episode on a positive note that should give every parent hope and, more importantly, the will to go into battle and keep the pressure on in the fight for America’s future. Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Somebody asked me the other day, Charlie, why is America so divided and how do we heal it?
Well, I don't think healing is coming anytime soon, unfortunately.
There's going to be a winner and there will be a loser.
And rarely do we get a glimpse into the psychology and the intentions of one of the most disastrous and corrosive institutions in America, which is our government-run schools.
Now, prior to Johns Hopkins and John Dewey, John Dewey, a real slippery guy in the 1800s, and he's kind of the architect or the father of government education.
He's best known for creating the public school movement America.
Now, prior to that, people were homeschooled, they were locally schooled, and it was a much more effective and a much more reliable way of passing down one's values of faith and tradition, goodness, beauty, and truth than handing your child off to the state.
I have been stunned to see how Americans, even conservatives, have been so desensitized and so programmed to believe that the state or the government or a corporation has a right to your child.
That is not the way this works.
And so, as you know, I have been railing against government education for years.
I believe that public education has taken an insidious turn over the last 10 years.
It was worse before that, but it's taken a much worse turn even since I was in public education to where teachers view themselves as revolutionaries.
And rarely do we get footage of a micro example of a macro trend.
Now, the work we do at Turning Point USA talks, we talk a lot about this because we're experiencing it firsthand.
And I do have to say, we did a variety of different fundraisers in the last couple of weeks, right at the end of the summer, to try to hit some of our goals at Turning Point USA.
I had so many people come up to me.
They said, Charlie, I've heard you speak for a couple of years at these fundraisers that fill-in-the-blank upper-middle-class neighborhood, right?
Naperville or Hinsdale, Holland, Michigan, wonderful family that hosted us out there.
And one person in particular, not part of the family, came up to me and they said, Charlie, I've been hearing you for a couple of years.
And quite honestly, the first time I heard you talk about how public and government education is an existential threat to our country, I thought you were radical and I thought you were exaggerating.
I said, No way can education have this kind of damage.
And now, three years later, I think it is the number one threat to our livelihood and our ability to exist as Americans and to keep this republic together.
People are waking up and they are realizing this.
We just got an email about this from Sean.
She said, CRT has invaded our school.
It's a long email, but here's one line.
I wish I would have paid attention sooner.
I had no idea that our school district had been moving in CRT to our school for as long as it has.
Many parents have been sleeping at the switch, assuming our schools were teaching the same subjects they have for generations.
It wasn't until this year in dealing with mask mandates has it come to light what is actually being taught.
We as parents are floored by what we are reading and seeing.
We cannot believe it is happening here.
We live in a very nice neighborhood in Rochester, Michigan.
The schools here are always top-rated.
We would assume that the education of our children are getting would be better than what we received growing up, but instead it is beginning to focus on indoctrination and social justice.
While one of our parents was doing research on how an elective dealing with ethnic and gender studies got into our school, she happened to find this board meeting from October of 2020 on YouTube.
To say I was shocked that we started on this path in 2018 is an understatement.
The transcript of the meeting is well below.
The link as the BOE, the board of directors meeting, as the director of equity and inclusion gives an update.
They had a director of equity and inclusion back in 2018.
Well, Sean, I appreciate the honesty that you emailed us this.
We get thousands of emails of parents that are regretting that they would have fought this sooner.
We tried to raise the alarm bell and the fire alarm on this program and at Turning Point USA for years, but it's better late than never.
And it is happening at a rapid and radical pace.
But again, rarely do we get insight and footage into teachers admitting how they teach and what they teach.
The wonderful James O'Keefe from Project Veritas hits another home run.
And we are big fans of James O'Keefe here on the Charlie Kirk Show.
James O'Keefe has come out with a private video of a teacher.
I want to make sure I get this school right at Indercum, is that right?
High school in California, which is right near Sacramento, North Sacramento, a private video of him.
He looks like a biker.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, but he just looks very unusual as a high school teacher, right?
He's got tattoos all up and down his arms.
And he has now been exposed in what is now national news.
He's an AP government teacher.
This guy teaches AP government.
That is advanced placement government for your children.
Now, I know some of you are going to say, Charlie, this is one example.
No, there are hundreds of thousands of people that are tasked with teaching future generations what is good, what is right, what is wrong, what is true, history, ethics, philosophy, that think exactly the way that this guy does.
What's his name?
Do we have his name?
This teacher.
And by the way, this is one of the reasons why we're involved in the education fight.
He looks like an Antifa member.
Now, with AP, Advanced Placement, you get college credit.
That's right.
You get college credit if you take these classes.
Gabrielle Gippy.
Manufacturing Revolutionaries 00:06:45
We're going to go through these one by one.
This was a private video, an undercover video that was filmed that shows you a little insight into what your children are learning and what teachers are teaching to your children.
We're going to go through these one by one.
Cut 39.
And I've had like students show up for like protests, community events, tabling, food distribution, SFL, sort of thing.
When they go, they take pictures, they write up a reflection.
That's their exercise.
Like, I have an Antifa flag on my wall.
And a student complained about that, and you said it made him feel uncomfortable.
Well, this is meant to make fascists feel uncomfortable.
It's like we feel uncomfortable.
I don't really know what you said.
Maybe you shouldn't be aligning with the values that this is antithetical to.
You hear that?
He has an Antifa flag in his AP government class.
It gets worse from there.
He says that he sends kids to protest.
He sends them to tabling.
He sends them to try to be activists.
This is someone that is being paid to teach young people how to view the world.
You want to know how you get AOCs and Elon Omars and Rashida Talib?
You also want to know why I don't want a bunch of Afghans in America because they're going to go to these schools.
That's why.
It is, these are inputs into the manufacturing line of revolutionaries.
How many years have I been telling you about Relief Factor?
Quite a lot.
Truth is, I know millions of people, in fact, that over 100 million people that are struggling with some kind of pain, whether it knee pain, back pain, joint pain, back pain, and exercise or getting older or whatever it might be.
I'm so impressed with the team at Relief Factor.
They are on a mission.
You rarely see this kind of commitment.
So go to relieffactor.com.
That's relief factor.com or call 800-500-8384.
About a dollar a day to see if you can get out of pain.
And then after that, less than a cost of a cup of coffee a day.
Relief Factor is terrific.
It's 100% drug-free.
Go to relieffactor.com.
That's relieffactor.com.
We have been very focused on education here on this program and in the work we are doing to try and communicate the truth to young people all across the country.
We have a beautiful history, constitution that needs to be shared with students all across the country.
We need to tease them that if they apply themselves correctly, they could develop good character, that they can become a complete human being.
Instead, our education system has become a place to incubate and to manufacture revolutionaries.
Elon Omar and AOC are not aberrations.
They are products of a system that try to create ungrateful, unwise, arrogant, deceitful, and treacherous people like AOC and Rashida Talib on Elon Omar.
Is what happens when they go through the government education system thanks to good old John Dewey.
These teachers should be teaching an AP government, John Locke, Montesquieu, Blackstone, Cicero, Madison, Jay, Augustine, Aquinas, Aurelius, Jefferson.
Instead, in this undercover video that has been obtained by James O'Keefe from Project Veritas, Gabrielle Gippy in cut 40 says, I have 180 days to turn your children into revolutionaries.
Now, I just want to thank Gabriel here.
Gabriel has finally given me the video to confirm what I tell parents all the time: what happens when you send your children to college.
But this is not even college.
This is high school, everybody.
And if you're a parent or a grandparent listening right now and you don't know every piece of curriculum that your child is learning from, then you have given your child over to the state.
You are playing Russian roulette with your child or grandchild's values.
Play cut 40 of Gabrielle Gippy.
I have 180 days to turn them into revolutionaries.
How do you do that?
How do you scare the f out of them?
Sacramento organization that is under the banner of Antifa is very loosely organized, right?
So that, yeah, when there is like right-wing rallies and stuff, then we like, we'll create an opposition to this.
Where would he go to connect to some of these organizations?
I post a calendar every week.
And I do it for extra credit.
So they get points for doing it.
So that encourages them to do it.
They get extra credit to go participate in Antifa rallies and protest against right-wing things that come to Sacramento.
You hear that?
So you have Gabrielle Gippy, a high school teacher, who says, I have 180 days to turn them into revolutionaries.
That's the stated goal of the school that he oversees.
Now, Gabrielle will probably not be held accountable.
Either he has tenure or, quite honestly, he just said the private part out loud.
You want me to tell you how this is going to end?
I've seen this show before.
Instead, he is going to play the victim.
Gabrielle is going to play the victim and say, I was illegally recorded and unethically recorded and taken out of context and clipped.
And I'm not a revolutionary.
And the Antifa flag I have on my wall is not actually to turn young people into Antifa activists.
It's instead to expose them of the anti-fascist movement that's happening in America.
I've heard it all.
Cut 41, Gabrielle continues by saying, the teacher, he says that he makes the kids take a political affiliation test, and each year they become further to the left.
He even measures how effective he is at creating revolutionaries.
Your tax dollars are paying this.
Cut 41.
It's like, I've met so many people in my life who, when they met me, thought I was like off the wall.
And now they're all Marxists, right?
You know what I'm just like, your political identification changed.
And so I have a huge political spectrum on the wall.
So they take an ideology quiz and their unit four and I put their face, or they have to give me a picture of themselves.
I put it on the wall where they are.
Every year, we get further and further left.
Every year they get further and further left.
ISPs Selling Your Data 00:02:03
He is measuring how effective he is at taking vulnerable and innocent children and turning them into allies for his specific purpose.
Think about how creepy and demented you must be to do this.
At a public education system, he will not be held accountable.
And I'm telling you, at this point, if you're still sending your kids to public school, I hope there's a good reason for that.
How did you choose which internet service provider to use?
The sad thing is most of us have very little choice because ISPs operate like monopolies in the regions they serve.
Then they use this monopoly power to take advantage of customers.
Data caps, streaming throttles, the list goes on.
But worst of all, many ISPs log your internet activity and sell that data onto other big tech companies or advertisers.
To prevent ISPs from seeing my internet activity, I protect all my devices with ExpressVPN.
So what is ExpressVPN?
It's a simple app for your computer or smartphone that encrypts all your network data and tunnels it through a secure VPN server so that your ISP cannot see your identity.
That's the reason I recommend ExpressVPN as the best way to hide your online activity from your ISP.
Just download the app, tap one button and your device, and you're protected.
And ExpressVPN does all this without slowing down your connection.
That's why it's rated the number one VPN service by CNET and Wired.
So stop handing over your personal data to ISPs and other tech giants who mine your activity and sell off your information.
Protect yourself with the VPN I trust to keep me private online.

I'm going to get to this story here.
Gay Pride in Classrooms 00:09:55
Teacher union president in Los Angeles says that it's okay that kids don't know math, but they do know the difference between the words insurrection and coup.
The head of the Los Angeles Union said there's no such thing as learning loss despite evidence of massive educational decline due to a year of remote learning.
Cecilia Meyart-Cruz, president of the United Teachers LA, told LA Magazine, quote, it's okay that our babies may not have learned all the time, their timetables, but they learned resilience.
They learned survival.
They learned critical thinking skills, really.
They know the difference between a riot and a protest.
Oh, so they know the difference between BLM and a Trump rally?
They know the words insurrection and coup.
When schools shut down in early 2020 due to the coronavirus, I'm reading from the Daily Wire, the union demanded that teachers not have to teach remotely for more four hours, more than four hours a day.
Teachers often simply posted assignments that students were expected to download and complete on their own.
But according to the teacher union president, it doesn't matter if they can't do math or read.
As long as they make good activists, that's the point of education.
I'm going to go to this sound here, CUT 43.
This is a teacher who says that she does not make her kids take a pledge of allegiance in the classroom.
She makes her kids pledge allegiance to the gay flag.
This is at Newport Mesa School in California.
She has been disciplined and removed from the classroom, but I bet she'll be brought back very soon after she issues a half-fake apology and she said she got all these threats, which she didn't get.
It's part of the playbook.
Say that you got threatened even though you didn't.
Everyone feels sorry for you and you come back.
This is who's teaching your children when you send them to public school.
And I know a lot of you say, oh, no, our public schools are great.
They're probably not.
If any of you have great public schools, please send them to me.
I'd love to look at them.
I'm sure there's some somewhere maybe in North Dakota.
Well, actually, no, I got to tell you, we're going to be in North Dakota in a couple of days.
And they're recalling the school board in Fargo big time because of masks and CRT and all that.
Play cut 43.
Okay, so during food period, we have announcements and they do the Pledge of Allegiance.
Except for the fact that my room does not have a flag.
It used to be there, but I took it down during COVID because it made me uncomfortable.
And in the meantime, I tell this kid, we do have a flag in the class that you can pledge your allegiance to.
And he like looks around and he goes, oh, that one?
Yep.
She's a teacher.
She's in charge of children.
And she says that we need to pledge allegiance to the gay flag.
So here, just to kind of summarize this, this is all California, thankfully.
Go vote for Larry Elder, everybody.
That's all I have to say.
Is you have the guy up in Sacramento as a microcosm of a macro trend of teachers that view themselves for 180 days to turn their children into revolutionaries.
I mean, when I was in school, just giving, I went to a very, I don't want to say liberal, but it was liberal-ish, but it was fair.
I mean, if you were a conservative, you were allowed to speak your mind.
There were still some jerks as teachers.
If we would have had a gay pride flag in our classroom 10 years ago, there would have been a revolt.
What happened, though, is parents stopped caring about the nation and their children, and they just kind of passed them off.
And now you have these gay pride flags in the classroom.
And not just there, you must pledge allegiance to the gay pride flag.
You must pledge allegiance to the gay lifestyle.
That's the new thing.
And then you have the head of the teacher union in California in Los Angeles saying, it's fine that they don't know math.
That's not what's important.
It's not that as if you need to be able to do objective measurement of reality.
That's not what we exist to do.
Instead, we exist to try to create social revolutionaries.
And then this teacher saying that you must pledge allegiance to the gay pride flag.
So how do we fix this?
I get that question a lot.
Well, homeschool if you can.
I know that's not an answer for everybody, but if you can, homeschool.
At the very minimum, do one hour of teaching with your children called a Liberty Hour, where you sit them down and you teach them what you learned from the Hillsdale online courses that everyone needs to go take.
You guys can check it out at charlieforhillsdale.com.
And it's courses on everything from an introduction to Western philosophy to civil rights in American history to classical children's literature to the great American story that I highly recommend to Constitution 101 to the Genesis story to Introduction to Aristotle's Ethics,
the Second World Wars, to Congress, how it worked and why it doesn't, to Mark Twain, intro to the Constitution, which is phenomenal, Western heritage from the book of Genesis to John Locke, Shakespeare, public policy from a constitutional viewpoint, the Federalist Papers, Winston Churchill and Statesmanship, the Presidency and the Constitution, Great Books 101.
You should be taking these classes as parents and teaching your children every single week.
If you're not, then you're not doing everything you possibly can to lean into this.
You guys can do it.
I want to do it alongside of you and help you clarify with any questions you guys have.
Charlie FORHillsdale.com, Charlie F.O.R.Hillsdale.com.
Please stop sending your kids to public school.
It is after video after video of this.
It's so damaging to our nation and to our country.
As we're monitoring how many dogs are being killed by the Taliban.
I'm going to get to this story here.
Importing Enemies by Michael Anton.
The demand to resettle Afghan refugees brings the war home.
So I just have a couple of questions about this Afghan story.
And it somewhat actually ties together with all this indoctrination, by the way.
All this is tied together.
Why would we bring in 144,000 Afghans?
Is that the number, right, Connor?
We're bringing in 144,000.
And by the way, you know what's so funny is everyone's like, it's our translators.
It's our interpreters.
We need translators for the translators.
They're not translators.
These people don't speak English.
So who are they?
How did they get these are not even special clearance holding visas?
The people that, well, they helped us in the hills.
In fact, I sat down with someone from the military and they said, look, anytime I went alongside of one of the translators, he said, they'd shoot us in the back.
We had to take their ammo and we'd put them in the back of the car and we would actually do the mission and we'd call it an Afghan-led mission because we didn't trust them because they were all traitors.
That is what a high-level ranking official of the military told me.
And now these guys get visas into our country.
And I've had some people in the intelligence agency say, Charlie, I wouldn't be alive without my translators.
Great.
They can go live in Mongolia.
Why do they have to come to America?
There's lots of goats in Mongolia.
I don't understand.
Why do you get a pass into America?
Some sort of a non-stop highway to go live in Denver, to go live in Milwaukee.
I want that argument, though, made.
Well, they make wonderful Americans, Charlie.
Shouldn't you make a wonderful American?
Like, isn't that the point?
Like, you need to go import wonderful Americans.
And by the way, that's questionable.
They said that about Elon Omar.
And that is an article I'm going to write, which is, and it's going to be wonderfully read by all of our beautiful friends on the left, not so beautiful friends, which is, has Elon Omar made America a better place?
Elon Omar is a living, breathing mascot of the refugee resettlement program in the last 30 years.
Has Elon Omar and people like Elon Omar, who are Somali immigrants that don't share our customs, that have a certain belief that a certain Islamic belief that is totally incongruent with Western culture, has Elon Omar made America a better place?
Now, some people say that, well, we have a moral obligation to these translators.
First of all, the people we've brought to this country are not the translators.
We have to send translators for them.
I just want to reiterate.
We are sending translators for the translators.
But let's say, okay, we have a moral obligation for those translators.
Fine.
How about we send them to Japan?
Japan brought in six refugees last year.
Six.
Maybe that's why Japan's going to outlast everything.
Any one of our other partners?
Or how about just do regional resettlement?
Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia.
Michael Anton writes, importing as many immigrants as possible from cultures as alien to traditional America as possible is the ruling class's top priority after protecting its own wealth and power.
But since importing millions upon millions of foreigners is the primary tool by which the ruling class maintains that wealth and power by suppressing wage growth and dividing the population, it can be hard to disaggregate these two priorities.
Did you hear that?
Mass immigration is the tool that your leaders use to keep perpetual conflict going, keep wages down, and try to socially transform the country.
And here is why the ruling class wants more Elon Omars.
They want more Elon Omars because they're going to go be taught by Gabrielle Gippy.
That's why.
They get to go into Gabriel Gippy's classroom.
And even Afghan translators' kids, even if they're the most wonderful people in the world, their kids get to go be installed into these government programs.
Ruling Class Immigration Tactics 00:03:37
Is that what we want?
We want to all of a sudden insert more people into Gabrielle Gippy's public education system.
This is what the left knows.
They know when you bring in a bunch of immigrants, they're more likely to go to public school than private school.
Public school means Democrat voters long term.
Look what we just showed you.
They're making kids pledge allegiance to the gay flag.
They're teaching kids that I have 180 days to turn them into social revolutionaries.
The head of the LA teacher union says, well, they can't read and write, but they definitely know how to protest.
Michael Anton says, the justification for all this resettlement is already being trumpeted.
We must save our allies, translators and such, who helped us throughout our 20-year failed experiment.
This argument, though, offered in bad faith, is effective because the vast majorities of Americans consider abandoning an ally to a deadly enemy dishonorable.
But does anyone really believe that America has or ever had, even over the duration of two decades, 200,000 allies in Afghanistan, that we were ever employed even a fraction of that as translators?
The claim is risable on, the claim is riscible or false on its face.
This regime has, in any case, already admitted that over 111,600 Afghans already evacuated, but has no idea who the vast majority of them actually are.
Our masters tell us that we must save our allies and translators, and in the next breath, admit that they're indiscriminately taking anyone.
People who act and speak this brazenly do so out of a deep reservoir of contempt and hatred.
The message is, quote, we can do and say whatever we want.
We can lie and contradict ourselves within the same sentence, and there's nothing you can do about it.
In fact, if you object or even notice, we will use our power to crush you.
Michael Anton, American mind, one of the clearest thinkers in America.
Do you run a small business?
Are you on an elder board of a church?
Are you overseeing an organization that does a lot of credit card processing?
Well, if you run a conservative or faith-based nonprofit or business, listen very carefully to this.
Do not expose yourself to being shut off because of cancel culture.
JPMorgan Chase just canceled Lieutenant General Michael Flynn's credit cards because they didn't like his politics.
So on the Charlie Kirk show here, we use Cornerstone Payment Systems to provide uninterrupt credit card processing for the work we do here at the Charlie Kirk show.
So maybe you run a small business and you need a credit card processor.
We trust Cornerstone for our processing, and I believe you will benefit from their solutions, their low costs, and most importantly, their commitment to safeguard your transactions.
Cornerstone provides all types of credit card solutions, including e-commerce, retail, donations, crowdfunding, and text to give.
Do not get canceled like Lieutenant General Michael Flynn.
Do not use Visa.
Do not use Stripe.
Do not use the big guys that are processing credit cards.
Instead, please contact Cornerstone Payment Systems today and let them know you heard about them on my show.
You can reach Cornerstone at 714-912-2617.
Again, if you are running a small business or a church or you're an elder board of a church, stop using bad guys to process your payments.
Go to cornerstone.cc slash K-R-I-K.
That's cornerstone.cc slash K-R-I-K.
Do not use credit card processors that hate you and hate your values.
Cornerstone.cc slash Kirk.
Do it right now.
I want to read this line again.
So good from Michael Anton.
And I want to get to some good news about school boards.
We are getting some emails of people that say they have some very good local school districts, which I'm pleased to hear.
And rural America, mostly.
Keep Pressure on Boards 00:04:39
Not overly shocked about that.
Beyond those genuine allies and translators, America has no obligation to bring over refugees at all, Michael Anton writes.
Those who claim such a reason on the basis of Colin Powell's pottery barn rule, you break it, you bought it.
A rule that Pottery Barn does not actually impose, are coherent.
For by this logic, the United States is perpetually bound to compound its worst disasters with further deliberate errors, wreck a country and port its citizens.
Or is that simply the plan?
Instead of you break it, you bought it.
How about when you're in a hole, stop digging?
Why do 2,500 American deaths, 20,000 injuries, and $2 trillion in losses obligate us to take on additional problems and burdens?
How do our genuine obligations to a few hundred translators, that's right, a few hundred translators extend across an entire population of more than 37 million people?
Such arguments are a combination of sophistry and guilt trip in the service of ruling class pieties and political and pecuniary interests.
It's far from self-evident that the war made Afghanistan worse.
This was not like the wholesale destruction of Germany and Japan, industrialized countries with first-world infrastructure leveled almost bare to the ground.
Afghanistan was a pre-modern throwback before we got there and remains one today.
If anything, much of that $2 trillion built far more of our drones and JDAMs destroyed.
