Who Killed Ashley Babbitt00:13:00
Happy Monday, everybody.
Who killed Ashley Babbitt?
Should we remove Joe Biden from office?
Do we have hope for the future?
And is it time to reject endless war?
Is it okay to be critical of Joe Biden's reckless and malevolent withdrawal while also saying that we should not reinvade Afghanistan?
Yes.
And we give you the conservative position for that here on the Charlie Kirk Show.

I want to get to one question here.
It's one of the shortest questions we have ever received, but it's a great question.
John from New Jersey, who shot Ashley Babbitt?
Who killed Ashley Babbitt?
Now, you might remember Ashley Babbitt was a veteran from San Diego who traveled to Washington, D.C. for the protests on the 6th of January.
Ashley Babbitt entered the United States Capitol and was killed unarmed by someone who we now know his name.
Now, I was one of the first people to mention his name on television.
I was one of the first people to talk about him.
And it's Lieutenant Bird.
And he is now doing a massive press campaign to try and save his reputation.
He said he has been cleared by all the authorities.
And he's saying that he saved countless lives.
The only deaths that we know of from that day are either people that died of unrelated injuries afterwards, suicides that happened afterwards, or Lieutenant Bird killing Ashley Babbitt, shooting her as she was unarmed.
Now, we have been lectured for years that we need to rein in police officers who have too much force that kill their own citizens.
And usually we side with the police on this because usually the police act prudently.
But we look at every situation independently and come to our own conclusion.
We're not ideologues when it comes to this issue, and no one should be, but the left is.
BLM is.
BLM are ideologues.
And they have been silent on the killing of Ashley Babbitt.
In fact, they're almost supportive of it.
In fact, some Republican senators, and if you're listening on the Flag Radio Network, I was texting back and forth with Senator Kramer.
He is supportive of this officer who killed Ashley Babbitt, which I think is an inexcusable position.
And I think very highly of Senator Kramer.
I just couldn't disagree more with this idea that it's okay to shoot an unarmed person who's a veteran, who's not even coming near you, who just puts her head up in a window.
Bang.
So I want to go back in time.
First, my conversation with the wonderful and the terrific and the impressive Maria Bartaromo, where I said six weeks ago, it looks like that it is Lieutenant Michael Bird.
This was six weeks ago.
We were the first person to say it on cable television.
Play cut 109.
Trolley, I want to get your take on who fatally shot Ashley Babbitt.
What do you know?
We're still in the allegedly phase, but according to Real Clear Politics and Real Clear Investigations, it looks like we're pretty certain to believe that it's a man by the name of Lieutenant Bird, Michael Bird, and there's more information that's going to come out around this, I think, in the coming weeks and months.
So we were the first people to mention on cable television, and we were right.
So I want to play two cuts here: 107.
Who killed Ashley Babbitt?
Michael Bird killed Ashley Babbitt.
That was back on July 11th.
Wow, it feels like yesterday.
Michael Bird says on cut 107 that he showed the utmost courage when he shot and executed an unarmed woman.
Cut 107.
Do you have any concern about showing your face and identifying?
Of course I do.
That is a very vital point, and it's something that is frightening.
I believe I showed the utmost courage on January 6th, and it's time for me to do that now.
So it's courage, and I can't believe the media is tolerating this.
There's an obvious reason why the media is tolerating this.
It's because it's a person who shot a Trump supporter.
That's why the media is tolerating this.
The media is tolerating this entire narrative because it's a black police officer who shot a white Trump supporter who's a veteran and a deplorable.
Of course, that narrative doesn't bother them.
In fact, deep down, some members of the media are cheering that on.
The fact that this interview was what it was is disgusting.
Cut 108, I saved countless lives.
Oh, really?
How many people did Ashley Babbitt kill?
She was walking around with the flag and she goes up to a window and bang, you shoot her in the forehead.
You don't have courage.
You're a coward.
You should have been held criminally accountable.
But our justice system, we know what our justice system is.
We know what that is.
Play cut 108.
I spent countless years and preparing for such a moment.
You ultimately hope that moment never occurs, but you prepare as best you can.
I know that day I saved countless lives.
How did you save countless lives?
No, seriously, how do you not get pushback for saying that?
Have you actually seen the video?
Ashley Babbitt is climbing up to a window, unarmed, no weapons, and he is all the way down the hall, and he just kills her.
That does not equate to saving countless lives.
How many people did Ashley Babbitt kill that day?
How many people did the Trump supporters kill that day?
In fact, despite all of the narratives, the police officers did not die at that moment due to the related injuries that happened because of what happened that day.
We'll get the exact specifics on it, but some of them died because of heart attacks or trauma afterwards.
Killing a person does not equal saving countless lives.
And I'm going to say this again: the reason why the media is covering for this guy, it's because it's a black liberal person who shot a white Trump supporter.
If it was the other way around, could you imagine if a white cop shot a BLM activist last summer when they burned down our country, when dozens of Secret Service agents were injured at the White House?
Could you imagine if a white Secret Service agent shot a black activist?
And this all had to come out on the liberal media's terms.
I'm sure he has the best press person from Pelosi's office managing it.
And the other reason why he did this, this is all because of Pelosi.
You have to understand the game that's being played here, is that Pelosi's running the January 6th Commission, and she doesn't want to have Republicans have a complaint be like, well, what about Ashley Babbitt?
What about Ashley Babbitt?
So she decided, and this is the Barack Obama strategy, and it worked in his book, Audacity of Hope, which is to lead with the negative and propagandize the public around it so then it's no longer news.
So now when you bring it up, everyone's like, oh, that's old news.
It's called the old news tactic.
You guys see this done a lot.
Hillary Clinton did this with her emails.
Trying to think who else did this.
Joe Biden did this.
It's a tactic that politicians who have media cover do where they will expose themselves to the most negative coverage, get sympathy for it, and they get protection from the regime.
And then after a week, everyone thinks it's old news and you move past it.
Hunter Biden did this as well, by the way.
Oh, yeah, I was smoking cocaine out of the carpet.
Oh, we feel so sorry for Hunter.
Then if you bring it up, it's old news and they feel sorry for you.
It's called the old news tactic.
He was sniffing crack out of the carpet.
Cut 110, Tucker Carlson asks, is it really courageous to shoot an unarmed woman?
Cut 110.
I showed the utmost courage by executing an unarmed woman without warning her first.
That's the utmost courage.
If we live in a country where we let that pass, that's courage.
No, that's not courage.
I mean, we can argue about whether it was justified or not.
Notice nobody is arguing.
People are just praising him, including Republican members of Congress who should be ashamed of themselves.
But if we call that courage, we've devalued the term.
And there are Republican members of Congress that are saying it's a wonderful thing that Michael Byrd killed an unarmed Trump veteran supporter.
I'm going to read some of those.
Is that really the quality of the Republican Party now praising the execution of Trump veterans who are unarmed?
And people say, well, they shouldn't have been there.
Okay, so everyone who went into the Capitol deserves the death penalty.
Is that the new standard?
Look, when was the last time you had American meat?
Chances are it's been way too long.

Let's get to some more questions here.
Hi, Charlie.
Is Kamala Harris Worse00:04:42
Understand that Senators Hawley and Blackburn are asking for Biden's resignation, and Madison Cawthorne is calling for Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment.
Is this the liberal agenda coming to fruition?
Getting Biden to step down so that Harris would be president will actually happen.
I'm troubled because Biden should be impeached and removed from office immediately.
But Harris is not the answer to America's pleas for a wise and strong leader.
What are your thoughts?
God bless Alana.
Or, yeah, Alana.
Well, obviously, Kamala Harris will probably be even worse.
But look, you want to disrupt the regime while you can.
You want to delegitimize them.
And if that means getting Joe Biden impeached or removed or such pressure that he has to do so, resigning in disgrace, so be it.
And my evidence for this, let's say he resigns, which is unlikely, but you never know because of health reasons or whatever.
Gerald Ford was never treated as a legitimate president.
Now, Gerald Ford was not elected because Spiro Agnew resigned and Gerald Ford was appointed in response and kind of as a filling of it.
But successor presidents have mixed results in American history, and there's plenty of them.
Teddy Roosevelt ended up being a very effective successor president to William McKinley.
We have many examples.
I think Warren G. Harding resigned, didn't he, Connor?
Warren G. Harding, I think, resigned after the Teapot Dome scandal, and then Calvin Coolidge became president.
I could be wrong.
I'll get a fact check on that.
My 1920 corrupt Ohio politician memory is not what it used to be.
Yeah, and then, of course, Lyndon Bates Johnson was a successor to John F. Kennedy.
So successors sometimes have trouble governing because they do not have a specific mandate.
Very few people go and vote for vice president.
And people say, well, Kamala Harris will be worse.
Did Warren G. Harding really die in office?
I knew that there was a successor.
I thought he resigned.
That's really interesting.
I didn't realize he died.
Okay, so Warren G. Harding, awful president.
It went Wilson Harding Coolidge Hoover.
Is that right?
Wilson Harding Coolidge Hoover.
My list was right.
Okay.
And so there was a lot of turmoil in those first 20 years of the 1900s.
And my point is this: people say, well, Kamala Harris is going to be worse.
No, Joe Biden is already doing what Kamala Harris would do.
He is just as radical.
There is not a moderate position in this entire White House.
Remove him while you can.
Take the opportunity when you can.
Delegitimize the regime.
Create upheaval.
What would Kamala Harris do that Joe Biden is not doing?
Would Kamala Harris keep the southern border wide open?
It's being done.
Grant amnesty to illegals?
It's being done.
Spend trillions of dollars we don't have?
It's being done.
Screw up Kabul royally.
It's being done.
And so a lot of people are saying that if we remove them, be careful what you wish for.
We already have what we don't want.
And successor presidents, post-Truman, have had difficulty governing the country, difficulty managing multiple crises.
And now that's not a perfect rule.
Maybe Kamala Harris would be much worse.
Maybe she would go in a more radical direction.
But here's what I will say: Kamala Harris is double digits less favorable amongst independents than Joe Biden is.
Joe Biden does not bother independents.
Kamala Harris scares independents.
Her cackle, her tone, her approach, her arrogance, her views, her radicalism.
Kamala Harris is a younger diversity-style Hillary Clinton.
In fact, MSN says that Kamala Harris has an unprecedented negative rating.
America just doesn't have a good feeling about Vice President Kamala Harris.
And you think that as soon as she does more press conferences, that's going to go up?
Of course not.
Kamala Harris is so unpopular that Gavin Newsom doesn't even want Kamala Harris to get to come to California.
In fact, Kamala Harris is 17 points less popular than Mike Pence was.
And Mike Pence was not even viewed very popular, but you know, very favorably.
13 points, net difference, 17 points.
Now, vice presidents are tricky things.
Al Gore, Dick Cheney, Joe Biden, Mike Pence, Kamala Harris.
But Kamala Harris has the lowest total positive rate, the highest total negative rate of any vice president in the modern era.
So if that's who you want to try to have run the country with the same sort of policy position, so be it.
More Rules Mean Tyrants00:14:17
Challenge the regime when you can.
Now, do I think Joe Biden's going to resign?
I think he'll resign if we keep the pressure on enough.
I don't think he can physically or mentally handle many more days like this.
Joe Biden cannot handle the stress or the pressure, obviously.
He took 11 days off as the Taliban took over Afghanistan.
And look, before we go any further, the AMA, you guys know that I want all of you to learn from great books.

Check it out.
Good morning, Charlie.
My kids attend school in San Antonio in Northside ISD, and they are deliberately disobeying the Supreme Court ruling of abiding by Governor Abbott's executive order banning mask mandates.
My high school daughter stood her ground and refused to wear a mask today.
She has had eight asthma attacks this week.
The principal told her that I will need her to wear her mask or leave campus.
I asked how NISD thinks they have the legal authority to enforce masks, and he said he didn't have an answer for that.
Of course not.
He repeated himself about masking or leaving campus and not being able to attend classes.
This is so evil.
My daughter chose to stand her ground.
We left.
My question is: what can we do here in Texas?
I've reached out to the governor's office, the attorney general, the superintendent, and nothing is happening.
This has to end.
Thank you.
I love your show, Amber.
Thank you, Amber.
The reason why your daughter is being forced to wear masks, regardless of what the Texas legislature has passed and Governor Greg Abbott has signed into law, is because leftists, Democrats, and liberals that run these schools, they are not afraid of the consequence.
They're not afraid of the potential penalty that will come down if they violate the law that Republicans pass.
We're experiencing this right now in Scottsdale.
I just gave my speech at the Scottsdale Unified School District a couple days ago, where I told the Scottsdale Unified School District that they are breaking Arizona law by mandating masks on children, despite what Governor Doug Ducey has signed into law.
And they basically shrug it off and they say, Delta variant, we could do whatever we want.
So, Amber, let me connect two things for you.
The reason why the head of the San Antonio School District thinks they can do whatever they want is because when they see Democrats flee the state of Texas to try to block quorum and no one gets arrested, it plays into the narrative that the regime of the media will protect you if you rebel against Republicans.
But if Republicans rebel against Democrats, they will crush you.
For example, my friend in Chicago is one of the people at the board at Timothy Christian School.
And at Timothy Christian, they said, you know what?
We understand there's a mask mandate.
We're going to look at all the data before we make a decision.
Without even a phone call, the Illinois State Board of Education revoked their charter immediately, full penalty.
So, Amber, if the governor of Texas or the attorney general was serious about protecting children and actually enforcing the law, they would use political power to go after the San Antonio School District.
So, what can you do?
Be happy to connect you with some legal support.
I don't know how successful that will be.
Your daughter had eight asthma attacks this week, probably because she's being forced to wear a mask all day long, which is child abuse.
And there is no epidemiological reason for it.
Instead, mask mandates are basically being pushed by these social control freaks that love to control their people's lives.
Cicero, who was a one-year Roman counsel and wrote extensively about political power and was one of the people that helped frame the American system of government thousands of years before, he was a contemporary of Julius Caesar.
He was actually killed by a different triumphant, but I think Brutus was involved in that.
I could be mistaken.
They cut off his head, actually, because Cicero was a little bit of a sarcastic artist, if you will.
He was a best-selling author.
I wrote in my book, The MAGA Doctrine, that Cicero was Trump before Trump.
Anyway, Cicero had a quote, and James Madison had his own version of the quote where it said, The more laws, the less justice.
And James Madison had his own quote, one of the fathers of the American Constitution, where he said, The more voluminous the laws, the less likely justice will occur.
So, I have my own quote building on the backs of the great Cicero and James Madison, which is, the more rules, the more tyrants.
The more rules there are, the more very sad people are all of a sudden going to feel empowered and emboldened to try to micromanage your child's masking behavior.
She had eight asthma attacks this week, and the principal told her that she has to wear the mask or leave campus.
And your daughter chose to stand her ground.
The only way this gets fixed, everybody, is if Republicans who have political power decide to be a legitimate check and balance.
I was on a flight the other day on an American Airlines flight, and this flight attendant came up to me.
And again, I have a very good relationship with flight attendants.
It's not about flight attendants.
I've complimented flight attendants endlessly.
This flight attendant, she should never be in charge of anything consequential.
She would have been one of Mussolini's revered enforcers.
She was a tyrant walking through the, she found pleasure in managing people's masking behavior.
So she came up to me and she said, you have the wrong type of mask.
I don't even know what she meant.
She said that it was not fully covering it.
I wore the mask on planes multiple times.
And she was so insistent and angry and mean about it.
I thought to myself, that's when the quote said, the only reason that she is as important as she is as far as managing what goes on my face is because of all these ridiculous rules that are passed.
The more rules, the more tyrants.
You want to stop this descent into authoritarianism?
Well, repeal the silly rules.
Charlie, is it a fair question now?
Is our president compromised?
Consistent bad policy decisions, which reward our enemies, such as China, Russia, and OPEC.
Now is the time to find out before this president does any further damage to our country.
Look, I've said for quite a while that Joe Biden is being puppeteered and is, quite honestly, being controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.
We know that Hunter Biden did extensive business dealings with the Chinese Communist Party.
We know that Tony Bobulinsky came out and said that there was 10% for the big man to be put aside in dealings with the Chinese Communist Party.
We know that Hunter Biden is selling garbage pieces of art for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
So yeah, I believe that there Muriel might be a blackmail operation against Joe Biden.
Very well might be that Joe Biden is being controlled and is being blackmailed for behalf of the Chinese Communist Party.
And a Taiwan moment is coming, everybody.
We have predicted this for a couple months.
There is going to be a moment of reckoning with Taiwan.
Will Joe Biden side with Taiwan and America or with the Chinese Communist Party, his owners, his employee, his employer, who is, they've invested in him for quite a while.
You're trying to say he's all of a sudden going to back down?
I don't know about that.
Joe Biden has always sold himself out to the highest bidder.
Next question here, Paul from Iowa.
Charlie, do you think that we should reinvade Afghanistan at this point?
Thanks so much.
No, that would be a disaster.
And so let me make sure that you know that my position is clear and how our own opinion on this program is different than some of the neoconservative orthodoxy of some of the Republicans you are going to see paraded on television over the next couple days.
Ending the war in Afghanistan was the right move that Donald Trump had.
How you end it is very important.
If you find out that you have a tumor, you don't take out a pocket knife and just start removing it.
How you do something is very important.
But now many Republicans and people that are part of the war industry want to reinvade Afghanistan and stay there permanently.
That would be a mistake on top of a mistake, on top of a mistake.
And to kind of further the analogy, how you do something matters.
If you have to do heart surgery and you don't do it right, you kill the host if you do not do it exactly correctly and do it right.
Well, Leon Panetta went on television on CNN and said, look, we're going to have to go back into Afghanistan to get ISIS.
We're going to have to go back in to get Al-Qaeda.
We can't leave the battlefield, but we can't.
We can leave the battlefield.
We can't leave the war on terrorism.
Now, one of the reasons why the war on terrorism is such a threat against America is because of our foolish immigration policies.
We let in way too many people into our country, including on traveler visas.
If we had a stricter regulation on the flow of people into our country, it wouldn't matter as much.
But Leon Panetta is part of the globalist project, and open borders is part of that entire kind of worldview.
So therefore, you need a neoconservative foreign policy perspective to justify the open borders and vice versa with it, internationalist global trade.
Cut 94.
We're going to have to go back in to get ISIS.
We're probably going to have to go back in when Al-Qaeda resurrects itself, as they will with this Taliban.
They've gave safe haven to Al-Qaeda before.
They'll probably do it again.
So, yeah, you know, I understand that we're trying to get our troops out of there, but the bottom line is we can leave a battlefield, but we can't leave the war on terrorism, which still is a threat to our security.
We can leave the battlefield, but we cannot leave our war on terrorism.
So we got to keep the perpetual war machine going.
And Leon Panetta is probably paid by a lot of these think tanks that are compromised, that are constantly arguing for perpetual war in a country halfway around the world.
I have a fear right now that we are now going to hear the neoconservative warmongers to say, now we got to go right back in.
The reckless, imprudent withdrawal from Joe Biden is actually opening the door for the war machine to get even more involved in the region.
Was that the goal?
I don't know.
Were the military generals so angry that we had to withdraw that they did it intentionally wrong to try to justify another invasion to fight our own weapons for another 20 years?
I don't know.
To give you an example of how reckless this withdrawal has been, Cut 89, General McKinsey reveals that the United States is sharing intelligence with the Taliban and relying on them for protection.
You would only share intelligence with the Taliban if maybe General McKinsey wants another 20-year war in Kabul.
Cut 89.
The other thing we do is we share versions of this information with the Taliban so that they can actually do some searching out there for us.
And we believe that some attacks have been thwarted by them.
Again, we've been doing this for a long, we've been doing this since the 14th.
This is an attack that's been carried out.
We believe it's possible that others have been thwarted.
We cut down the information we give the Taliban.
They don't get the full range of information we have, but we give them enough to act in time and space to try to prevent these attacks.
Now, remember, the Taliban is going around killing Afghans and Christians.
And oh, yeah, we trust them.
And by the way, did you hear what he said?
He was so condescending.
Remember, we've been doing this a long time.
Yeah, you've been failing miserably for a long time.
You see how arrogant this guy is?
Oh, yeah, don't you know?
We've been here for 20 years.
Yeah, you lost the war, General McKinsey.
We're supposed to trust you?
You're a loser.
Now, what a great AMA this is.

MacArthur Truman Deadlock00:05:36
There wasn't much time after the victory over Germany and Japan for popping champagne corks and celebrating.
Just as the 50 nations that had joined in defeating the Axis powers were drafting a charter for the United Nations in San Francisco, the victorious alliance between the United States and the Soviet Union was falling apart.
War alliance between the United States and Britain and the Soviet Union was tactical exclusively.
There was no other ideological or sentimental attachment between the nations.
And as the war appeared to be won in Europe, spring of 1945, the Red Army began occupying more and more portions of Eastern Europe with the clear intention of establishing a Soviet empire.
This is exactly what Churchill was worried about.
In March of 1946, Winston Churchill gave a speech in America in which he uttered a phrase that would live on for a long time.
He said that from Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic, an iron curtain has descended across the continent.
So what to do about this expansionist tendency short of fighting a war?
Well, what Truman arrived at was a conclusion heavily influenced by the writings of George Kennan, an American diplomat in Russia, who believed that Soviet expansionism was actually a result of the insecure, unstable nature of the regime itself, and that the process of expansion was actually a way of holding that regime together.
And that if expansion was prevented, if it was contained, then the regime in due course would turn in on itself and collapse.
This doctrine came to be known as containment because it was a way of fighting the Soviet regime by containing it rather than by defeating it.
At any rate, a sustained confrontation between the two remaining superpowers in the world that would come to be called the Cold War.
The Cold War turned hot in 1950 on the Korean Peninsula, which had been divided since the end of the war between communist forces in the North that were aligned with the Soviet Union and Democratic forces in the South that were aligned with the United States.
This led to an invasion on June 25th, 1950, of some 80,000 North Korean troops that swept into the South, very nearly conquering it.
And Truman invoked the United Nations, and the American response was funneled through the United Nations.
So it was called a police action rather than a war.
There was no declaration of war.
The war went very badly until General Douglas MacArthur got involved, performed a brilliant amphibious invasion at Incheon, which cut off the North Korean troops and led him quickly to be able to round them up, defeat them, and then head north.
And he kept going north and finally approached the Chinese border.
And at that point, a quarter of a million Chinese troops swept in on MacArthur and drove him back into South Korea with the battle line finally stabilizing around the 38th parallel.
At this point, MacArthur and Truman got deadlocked in a conflict because MacArthur thought the time was right.
The justification was there for what he called a whole new war, a war against China, against communist China, that would succeed in overthrowing this unfriendly, hostile, noxious communist regime that had just taken power and thus avert the prospect of a Sino-Soviet, Chinese,
and Soviet alliance that could come to dominate the world.
The time was ripe to take that on.
Truman, on the other hand, thought this was absolutely the wrong thing, that it would be, he called it a booby trap to go into a war in China and rejected the idea.
MacArthur criticized Truman publicly in an official letter to the House Minority Leader and said there is no substitute for victory.
In other words, a rejection of the containment doctrine.
There is no printifying the fact, though, that the Korean War was at best a stalemate.
It remains a people divided to this day.
There is no settlement of the war.
The war is simply suspended.
So in some ways, it illustrates some of the unsatisfactory aspects of the containment doctrine.
And that situation is yet to be resolved.

Question here from David.
Fighting Back Now00:05:23
Basically, do you think we should reinvade?
I just want to say the coming debate on the right is whether or not we should reinvade Afghanistan after this.
And the answer is no, no, no.
A prudent withdrawal and retribution for killing of the Marines can be done in a way that does not require the reinvasion of the country.
This humiliating defeat was preventable.
It was avoidable.
And what we do from this point forward must be done with deterrence and with force and within strength.
It didn't have to be this way.
But saying that we need another 200,000 troops back in Afghanistan, Senator Mitch McConnell sent out a tweet saying we need to stay in Afghanistan for, quote, as long as it takes.
Well, if you give General McKinsey as long as it takes, his great-grandchildren will be saying we need another 20 years in Afghanistan.
I want to get to some more questions here.
You guys have been emailing us some very good ones.
Freedom at CharlieKirk.com.
I want to do one on Afghan refugees.
Someone says, Charlie, do you think that we should take in these Afghan refugees?
I have, of course, said, no, we can help them.
Why don't we just send them all to Germany?
Angela Milke loves Middle Easterners that don't share the German culture.
Just send them all to Bavaria.
It's nice this time of year.
It's actually really cloudy most of the year.
Cut 86, Stephen Miller, vast majority of incoming 100,000 Afghans rendered no meaningful assistance.
Cut 86.
Do you trust this administration to vet these people before they touch down on U.S. soil?
Not in the least.
What I have heard from my government sources about this evacuation is horrifying.
Over 100,000 Afghan nationals have been removed from the country, the vast majority of whom have rendered no meaningful assistance to the United States government in the war effort.
The only common threat among them is the Taliban let them through and they want to leave Afghanistan.
That's it.
That's the qualifying criteria.
That's the qualifying criteria.
You mean that they'll come into the country and be potential voters.
Last question here, Joseph.
Dear Charlie, I'm 15, almost 16 years old from Iowa.
I'm deeply concerned about my future.
In my age, I already have a business going and I'm not worried about money.
That's good.
I'm worried that I won't have a country to live in by the time I'm an adult.
What do I do?
Thanks, Joseph.
That's a legitimate concern.
The country is falling apart right now.
So, Joseph, now you at a young age have to step up and fix the mistakes that were made before you.
Lead your parents towards political activism and engagement.
Professor Azarad from Claremont Institute and Chris Bedford said this on our podcast earlier this week, which I thought was a phenomenal point, which is we have only started to fight.
I want you to think about a New York Times headline: Homeschool Revolution helps steer America revolution post-COVID-19 in 2019, 2020, 2021 steered America back to conservative roots.
Now, I do want to say, those of you that are interested in homeschooling, the best curriculum is k12.hillsdale.edu.
It's k12.hillsdale.edu.
K12.hillsdale.edu to get the homeschooling curriculum.
But we have only begun to fight.
We're seeing the homeschool renaissance right now.
We're seeing pastors start to rise up.
And we have actually just launched Turning Point Faith.
You guys can see that at tpusa.com/slash faith, if that interests you as well, tpusa.com/slash faith.
Joseph, I'm telling you that now is the time to start to get back into the fight.
And maybe you don't want to do that.
You say, Charlie, what does that look like?
We have a variety of different ways that we do that at Turning Point USA.
And for adults listening right now, the country will fall apart if you do nothing.
School boards are everything.
City councils matter more than you can ever imagine.
Mentor young people.
Spend at least an hour a day with your kids and grandkids, an hour a day, maybe an hour a week, going through the great ideas that built this civilization, the books that inspired this 5,000-year miracle.
Joseph, we can win and we will win.
We got better ideas.
We got courage.
Hopefully, we have a lot of courage and conviction.
We just need more people to rise up.
I can tell you for the adults out there, I'm getting thousands of emails from 15, 16, and 17-year-olds that don't think they're going to have a country to grow up in.
That should motivate everyone to start fighting more.
And I believe we have just started fighting back.
And we have laid over for the last 50 and 60 years.
And finally, there's a counteroffensive, a sabotage campaign launched against the insidious aims and objectives of the left.
Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
