| I wish it was a better day for our country. | |
| It's been humiliating to say the least. | |
| And in the last 24 hours, we learned that 13 Marines were killed in the streets of Kabul. | |
| We also learn that Joe Biden handed over to the Taliban a kill list of every single American and Afghan that they wanted to get out of the country, and they handed it straight to the Taliban. | |
| But I think it's worth going a little bit back in time and talking about how we got here. | |
|
The Kill List Scandal
00:13:03
|
|
| Now, one of the attributes of a ruling class member, someone like Joe Biden, someone like Ron Klain, like Mark Milley, someone like Lloyd Austin, is arrogance. | |
| Because they have never actually had to have been in a situation where they have to take responsibility for their actions, they are extremely arrogant in how they go about their business and they go about communicating to you, to the American people. | |
| The military-industrial complex, which has now become the diversity industrial complex, that is more worried about talking about white rage and critical race theory and Robin DiAngelo and Tahanisi Coates, they were supremely confident that they would be able to withdraw from Afghanistan without the Taliban going back on their word and going and taking over Kabul by the time we had a chance to leave the country. | |
| Now, this really all rests on Joe Biden. | |
| Joe Biden picking an arbitrary date in the middle of the killing season on September 11th, which is just a really bizarre day to choose to try and incite more terrorism against Americans. | |
| And it was one of the most incompetent, blundered withdrawals in American history. | |
| We've made the argument that we believe there were some malevolent forces behind it. | |
| There's no way that you're so incompetent that you leave behind billions of dollars of military equipment and someone doesn't know to do that. | |
| There was an order to keep that equipment around. | |
| So the Taliban now have helicopters, they have planes, they have hundreds of thousands of our rifles, machine guns, 50 caliber mounted machine guns, they have in their possession. | |
| They have the 26th largest Air Force in the world and they don't know how to fly planes, courtesy of the Biden regime. | |
| So Joe Biden realized as the Taliban took over Kabul, he was in a political mess. | |
| He realized that his poll numbers were going down domestically and his transformational agenda to try to turn America into a completely different country was being put in jeopardy. | |
| He realized that the American people were very angry that we were humiliated on the world stage. | |
| You could not have designed a set of events and instances that would lower American morale as much as what we have seen the last couple weeks. | |
| And so then Joe Biden sent Marines as a military political cleanup crew. | |
| He sent them not to fight, not to go evacuate Americans from the streets, but to do desk work and run the gates at the Kabul airport, something that Marines are not trained to do. | |
| Marines are the finest, most tough, courageous fighters that we have. | |
| And I'm not insulting any other branch of the military, but there's something special about Marines and how they run into the fire. | |
| The first one's in and the last one's out. | |
| The question is, what were 13 Marines even doing within such a clustered area that would have allowed a blast radius to kill 13 of them? | |
| So Biden blundered the exit, and then he used Marines to fix his withdrawal. | |
| This is on Joe Biden. | |
| You see, the way the media is portraying this, the way the media is talking about these 13 deaths, is as if it's part of the cost of war. | |
| These deaths happen all the time. | |
| It was Joe Biden who executed the most foolish and dangerous and, I mean, you could fill in the world, word, withdrawal in American history. | |
| And he's the one that sent armed forces to then go run traffic cops to get Afghan refugees to the airport, not even prioritizing American citizens. | |
| So then Joe Biden gave a press conference after many hours yesterday, and he said a lot of different things. | |
| He gave lip service saying that he was going to hunt down the terrorists that did this. | |
| It's very doubtful that that's ever going to happen. | |
| There was a question, though, that I want to get to about how Joe Biden admitted that there may have been a list of Americans and ally names given to the Taliban. | |
| So we fight the Taliban for 20 years. | |
| They take over the country and the Afghan military that we were not even capable of arming or enforcing. | |
| And then we're just supposed to then give our most confidential lists of our citizens to our enemies. | |
| Play cut 90. | |
| I can't tell you with any certitude that there's actually been a list of names. | |
| I know there may have been, but I know of no circumstance. | |
| Does that mean it didn't exist? | |
| That here's the names of 12 people. | |
| They're coming and let them through. | |
| It could very well have happened. | |
| I'll take one more question. | |
| Very well could have happened. | |
| Well, Politico says U.S. officials provided Taliban with names of Americans, Afghan allies, to evacuate. | |
| This is a kill list, everybody. | |
| And we know this is true. | |
| Joe Biden didn't deny it. | |
| He does what he has done for 40 years in Washington, D.C., which is not admit it, not deny it, but of course, give himself some wiggle room. | |
| One defense official said, quote, basically the Biden regime, I put that in there, but they just put all those Afghans on a kill list. | |
| It is just appalling and shocking and makes you feel unclean. | |
| The Biden regime is doubling and tripling down on this. | |
| Joe Biden said, we had no choice but to do it this way. | |
| We had no choice but to give our helicopters to the Taliban. | |
| Really? | |
| We had no choice but to abandon the Bagram air base, how we did it. | |
| We had no choice, just sit down and shut up. | |
| You don't know like we know. | |
| Well, now 13 Marines are dead, Joe Biden. | |
| And Joe Biden has said in a variety of different ways through his proxies and through his press secretary that this is a major success, that this was necessary for the country. | |
| Almost nothing our leadership class manages is maintained or does what it says it will do. | |
| If you were trying to execute a blow to the psyche of the United States of America, you would do precisely what Joe Biden did. | |
| As Afghanistan fell, Joe Biden embraced his knock-on-wood geopolitical strategy. | |
| We're going to play that tape coming up next. | |
| And what did the U.S. military tweet out yesterday? | |
| What were they saying? | |
| They were talking about Women's Equality Day. | |
| What was the State Department doing in the month of June? | |
| They had gay flags outside of their State Department. | |
| And then Joe Biden hands over a kill list to the Taliban so that they know which Americans to hunt down and which Afghans to hunt down. | |
| Provided to you by the United States government. | |

| Joe Biden sitting down with George Stephanopoulos when he said no one's being killed right now. | |
| Remember when he knocked on wood? | |
| This should be regime-ending type behavior. | |
| It should be. | |
| In a normal world where we're actually operated by the laws of nature and nature's God and not this concoction and this fraud of a presidency that we have right now. | |
| If you had a president that was like, well, no one's dying yet. | |
| And that best embodies what Joe Biden's strategy was here. | |
| He was caught completely by surprise that the Taliban could take over the country in 11 days because Joe Biden is being consulted and advised by the diversity industrial complex of critical race theory rising to the top levels of the military where they have never had to actually win a war and we have de-emphasized competency and we have over-promoted skin color or obedience to the regime. | |
| When you think about this, this is the president who's like, well, no one's been killed right now. | |
| This is before the Marine attack. | |
| Not that if someone gets killed, there will be retaliation. | |
| Not that if there is one American that gets harmed, we will find you and hunt you in the night. | |
| Do you think that this prevented the ISIS terrorist attack? | |
| You see, the reason why this sort of military, these sort of military killings didn't happen under Donald Trump, why there were zero Americans that lost their lives in Afghanistan the last 11 months of the Trump administration was because Donald Trump was willing to use force where necessary to deter the bad guys. | |
| Joe Biden, he knocks on wood. | |
| We have the Monroe Doctrine created by the fifth American president, James Monroe, all about non-intervention in the Western Hemisphere. | |
| We have the Woodrow Wilson Doctrine, which is all about globalism and the League of Nations. | |
| We have the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Doctrine, which was about defeating communism, I guess you could call it, Japanese imperialism and Nazism in Europe. | |
| You then had Jimmy Carter, the Jimmy Carter doctrine, which was all about human rights. | |
| You had the Ronald Reagan doctrine, which was peace through strength. | |
| This is the first time we have seen a doctrine built on hope. | |
| Hope is not a strategy. | |
| This is your president, Cut 78. | |
| Still a lot of pandemonium outside the airport. | |
| Oh, there is. | |
| But look, but no one's being killed right now. | |
| God forgive me if I'm wrong about that, but no one's being killed right now. | |
| No one's being killed right now. | |
| Oh, well, actually, 60 Afghans are dead, or the estimates are about that. | |
| And 13 United States Marines are dead because of you, Joe Biden, because you knocked on wood. | |
| Remember Cut 79, where just days ago Biden walked away from a reporter who asked him about the threat of Americans now face from ISIS. | |
| Maybe if Joe Biden took questions, he would have actually got more accurate information than if he listened to his own national security advisor. | |
| Maybe if he took this question, he would have heard, oh my goodness, what if ISIS is a threat? | |
| Joe Biden ignored this reporter and walked away. | |
| And now 13 U.S. Marines are dead. | |
| And what were those Marines doing? | |
| They were doing things they were not trained for, doing traffic cop-style work because Biden and his regime arrogantly and smugly and lazily executed the most disastrous withdrawal in American military history. | |
|
Why Marines Died in Kabul
00:16:27
|
|
| And that's saying something. | |
| Cut 79. | |
| Thank you. | |
| Biden would not be bothered by such questions. | |
| Now, if I was a Republican political operative, I would take Cut 79 of Joe Biden and say, no one's being killed right now, and him knocking on wood, and Joe Biden walking away from reporters asking about ISIS. | |
| That's the Biden regime. | |
| Hoping people don't get killed, not willing to do anything to actually protect our citizens, which we have been warning everyone about throughout the last couple of weeks. | |
| And the media went after us like you wouldn't believe. | |
| What do you mean, Joe Biden doesn't care about citizens? | |
| Oh, no, Americans will die because of Biden. | |
| We said that, and now 13 Marines are dead. | |
| Cut 80. | |
| The question has been asked of whether or not we have been negotiating with terrorists. | |
| And Peter Ducey adds that the policy has been constantly changing. | |
| Are we paying the Taliban? | |
| If so, how much? | |
| Where's that money coming from? | |
| Did you know that the CIA director secretly met with the head of the Taliban on Monday? | |
| Did you know that CIA director William Burns met with the head of the Taliban on Monday and then days after, our own citizens get bombed in the streets? | |
| Look, a lot of you are eating foreign meat. | |
| Now, some of you, I know, are not really aware of what you might be eating. | |
| I am a big believer in eating American meat. | |
| Did you know that over 80% of grass-fed beef stole in the United States is imported from overseas? | |
| So here's how it works. | |
| We get these boxes sent to our office, and it's like time standstill. | |
| You guys ever see that movie, The Day the Earth Stood Still? | |
| You ever see that movie? | |
| Isn't it about aliens or something, right? | |
| I think it's about aliens, right? | |
| The Day the Earth Stood Still. | |
| It's phenomenal. | |
| That's what happens when good ranchers meet. | |
| It's a box. | |
| T-bone fillets. | |
| In fact, we had a box of meat sent to us, and it was meant for me. | |
| And I kind of went on a day trip and I came back and I came back and I was looking through the refrigerator. | |
| I was looking at the freezer. | |
| I said, where is the meat? | |
| And I went on an investigative mission. | |
| I started looking. | |
| It was my best ever Adrian Monk impersonation. | |
| You guys ever remember that show, Monk? | |
| It was a great show. | |
| I was a sleuth. | |
| And finally, I narrowed it down to three suspects, okay? | |
| Andrew, who's not even here, producer Connor, and Erica. | |
| And so I dismissed Erica because it wasn't in our own freezer. | |
| And then I exonerated Connor. | |
| And Andrew actually took a special trip in just to be able to get the box and then flew back with it. | |
| He's a thief, but it was okay because he's part of the team. | |
| That's how much he cares about the gourmet burgers, fillets, strips, T-bones. | |
| And look, I know a lot of you got to go shopping. | |
| Here's the cool thing about good ranchers. | |
| You could support the Charlie Kirk show, get great meat, support American meat and America, and then get it delivered to your door. | |
| I mean, that is a trifecta. | |
| So go to goodranchers.com with an S, goodranchers.com to buy now or subscribe today and save 20% off each box of mouthwatering meats. | |
| Subscribing brings the cost down to less than $5 a meal. | |
| Plus, right now, get an additional $20 off and free express shipping if you go to goodranchers.com/slash Charlie. | |
| And also, the fifth thing I forgot to mention is that when you buy Good Ranchers meat, you're buying meat from people who love their country. | |
| Don't buy from people who hate your values. | |
| So, what's for dinner tonight? | |
| I'll tell you what I'm having. | |
| Well, I was going to have a T-bone from Good Ranchers till Andrew, the thief, stole it. | |
| But we're going to have to have Good Ranchers send us another box. | |
| We are subscribers. | |
| It comes to the office. | |
| Everyone's clamoring about it. | |
| It is the talk of the town. | |
| Goodranchers.com, deliver it to your door. | |
| Support the Charlie Kirk show. | |
| Get good meat. | |
| And by the way, the weather is changing. | |
| Football is starting. | |
| Maybe you need to do an outdoor cookout right now. | |
| Hamburgers, gourmet burgers, strips, fillets, T-bones, and more. | |
| Be able to stand for meat. | |
| Goodranchers.com slash Charlie. | |
| I just want to talk about why would Joe Biden send Marines to go clean up his mess as if they're the fixers to go run traffic stops to go get Afghan refugees with questionable backgrounds that shouldn't be sent to the United States in the first place. | |
| And Americans should be given preference. | |
| Why would Joe Biden do this? | |
| Well, first of all, Joe Biden, knocking on wood, knew that if Americans died in Kabul, it would be a massive political liability for him. | |
| So he said, okay, losing Kabul bad. | |
| Americans dying worse. | |
| Therefore, he said, I'm going to have my hands strung and I'm going to just knock on wood and hope this all works out. | |
| Well, now 13 Marines are dead. | |
| And some estimates show that over 170 total people died in the bombing in Kabul yesterday. | |
| And so Biden acted in the way he did because he knew now this is a legitimate political liability. | |
| Now, many members of the activist press are going to mock me for this, which is exactly why I will say this. | |
| Don't be surprised if Gavin Newsom gets recalled as governor because of what we are seeing right now in Afghanistan. | |
| I'm not saying Gavin Newsom is to blame for that. | |
| I'm not. | |
| Obviously, he's the governor of California. | |
| What I am saying, though, is that people are so angry that they will not do anything to support a Democrat regime right now. | |
| And I think that will be a three to four point negative liability. | |
| In fact, Cammy is coming back from Vietnam, and she is just flying right over Gavin Newsome, not even going to go campaign for him because she said she's too busy with other matters. | |
| That's probably true. | |
| But the real story is that that's a political liability right now for Gavin Newsome. | |
| Yamichi from PBS, Cut 95, said recently, I think she said this today, let's remember that yesterday was quite possibly the worst day of the Biden presidency. | |
| Now, PBS is state-run media, literally. | |
| It's government-funded. | |
| It is propaganda. | |
| It is pravda. | |
| It is on behalf of the regime. | |
| They are there to protect the infrastructure of the Biden White House. | |
| For her to say this shows exactly why Biden was acting in the way he was the last couple days. | |
| But the fear of losing Americans because of his blunder actually resulted in us losing Americans. | |
| Cut 95. | |
| Well, let's remember that yesterday was quite possibly the worst day of the Biden presidency amid one of the worst weeks of the Biden presidency. | |
| Not only, of course, were those 13 service members as well as dozens of Afghans killed on his watch as commander-in-chief, a confluence of problems in what is turning out to be a very ugly August for this Biden presidency. | |
| And it's only going to get worse. | |
| Not to mention, the southern border remains wide open. | |
| Inflation is forthcoming. | |
| And I'm going to get to some Supreme Court news in a second, which is really important because we went into great detail about the eviction moratorium and how that basically made us enter a post-constitutional order. | |
| And Joe Biden knew it and he ignored it. | |
| And the Supreme Court actually issued a decision last night that I want to get to. | |
| But I want to finish off this Afghanistan point, which is that these Marines, and one of the names has now been released, Max Soviak, Navy medic, they were sent out as the cleanup crew. | |
| Joe Biden treated Marines as janitors. | |
| Joe Biden treated the military as political janitors to go try and fix the mess of a country that fell apart on his watch, where it should have been very simple. | |
| You secure a perimeter. | |
| You don't abandon Bagram. | |
| You tell the Taliban if they pass a certain longitude and latitude, their village burns to the ground. | |
| They would have known we meant it. | |
| You get every American out orderly. | |
| Then you destroy the weapons. | |
| And then you get the military out of there. | |
| The Biden regime didn't do that. | |
| And whether they did it intentionally, with malevolence or incompetent, with lack of wisdom, we may never know. | |
| I have my own personal opinions, and we've expressed those opinions. | |
| But then he treated our finest fighters, the best that our country has to offer, as if they were the cleanup crew. | |
| Go fix this for me. | |
| Go run traffic at the airport, clustered at a certain area. | |
| And then we got a aforementioned warning. | |
| I got a newsweek alert. | |
| Terrorist attack imminent. | |
| That's weird. | |
| We usually don't get a heads up. | |
| If we knew a terrorist attack was imminent, why didn't we immediately put every single one of our armed services behind the airport gates or at least pushed forward as some sort of offensive military strategy? | |
| Who's running the shots here? | |
| The commander-in-chief is. | |
| So Joe Biden had warning that a terrorist attack was coming, and he did nothing? | |
| Yes. | |
| That's the answer. | |
| Yes. | |
| Cut 97. | |
| Joe Biden puts his head down while taking questions from Peter Ducey. | |
| Cut 97. | |
| Remember that? | |
| I'm being serious. | |
| No, I'm asking you a question. | |
| No, no, no, wait a minute. | |
| I'm asking you a question. | |
| Is that accurate, the best of your knowledge? | |
| I think it's issued. | |
| Do you think that people have an issue with? | |
| Pulling out of African Secretariat is the way to make it happen. | |
| God bless Ducey. | |
| He has been phenomenal at these press conferences. | |
| He's going to get audited soon. | |
| So just he's definitely already being spied on. | |
| I guarantee it. | |
| Every text message. | |
| And then what does Biden do? | |
| He ships blame to Trump. | |
| That's all they know how to do. | |
| Remember, we talked about this on our program in great detail. | |
| The Kabul disaster, which is more deadly than Benghazi. | |
| Let me say that again. | |
| Kabul is more deadly than Benghazi. | |
| Three times as deadly. | |
| It exposes the limitations of the regime when it comes to communication. | |
| You know what limitations those are? | |
| It exposes how they blame the other side for everything. | |
| You see, Joe Biden yesterday, and we will play Cut 96 in a second. | |
| He wanted to go blame unvaccinated people for killing these Marines. | |
| He wanted to blame the oath keepers. | |
| He wanted to go blame proud boys. | |
| He wanted to go blame pastors who don't embrace the party line. | |
| So when they were creating Joe Biden's speech, which, by the way, I accurately predicted that he was going to mention Bo Biden just every time he gets up, he does that. | |
| Joe Biden, when he was kind of working with his speech writers, they went to the list. | |
| Well, can we blame the unvaccinated? | |
| No. | |
| Can we blame Republicans? | |
| Not really. | |
| Can we blame the deplorables? | |
| No. | |
| Can we blame? | |
| And then they realized they had to do something that Democrats cannot stand doing, take responsibility. | |
| But Biden didn't even do that. | |
| He blamed a former president, Donald Trump, Cut 96. | |
| But here's the deal. | |
| You know, I wish you'd one day say these things. | |
| You know, as well as I do that a former president made a deal with the Taliban that he would get all American forces out of Afghanistan by May 1. | |
| In return, the commitment was made, and that was a year before. | |
| In return, he was given a commitment that the Taliban would continue to attack others, but would not attack any American forces. | |
| Blaming Donald Trump. | |
| There were no American lives lost in the last 11 months. | |
| Yet he now has to go blame Trump. | |
| That didn't stop him from repealing the 1776 Commission. | |
| That didn't stop Joe Biden from reinstating the Iran deal. | |
| That didn't stop Joe Biden from stopping construction on the border wall. | |
| So why is Joe Biden all of a sudden blaming Trump for his failed foreign policy? | |
| The Pentagon just came out and said, quote, of the more 100,000 evacuated from Kabul, only 7,000 are Afghan special immigrant visa holders. | |
| And roughly 5,000 of those evacuated are Americans. | |
| 5,000. | |
| That means 5%. | |
| Your government makes room for 5% of the evacuations to be Americans. | |
| 5%. | |
| 5% of people that have been evacuated out of Afghanistan. | |
| And yes, that is true. | |
| We got an email at freedom at charliekirk.com. | |
| Someone just said, it's not a kill list. | |
| It's a hostage list. | |
| Of course, we're going to have a hostage situation in our hands very soon, as we unfortunately predicted. | |
| I want to read from a piece here from Angelo Cotavilla, a phenomenal piece from the American Mind, Claremont Institute, graveyard of narratives. | |
| This should infuriate you. | |
| And we should have withdrawn from this country a long time ago. | |
| That's not what we're talking about here. | |
| But this is important. | |
| On September 12, 2001, CIA Director George Tennant delivered a summary judgment. | |
| Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda had done 9-11 game set and match. | |
| But this statement basis, as it had been for two decades, of war on terror, is factually empty. | |
| Angela Coteville writes, What we surely do not know about who did and what made 9-11 happen is more than what we know. | |
| Nearly all of what we most believe consists of a mixture of the United States government's competing narratives unverified. | |
| We don't even know the identities of most of the hijackers. | |
| We do know that they were not who their passports say they were. | |
| Who were the men who carried them? | |
| Mohammed Atta ran the operation, but who recruited the hijackers on what basis? | |
| Apparently, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed had a lot to do with the whole thing. | |
| What was his relationship with Atta? | |
| He confessed to a lot. | |
| Almost none of it was verifiable. | |
| We don't know where he got his money, though what was left over from the operation was ostensibly returned to an open al-Qaeda account. | |
| Its province is hidden beyond our sleuth's capacity to discover. | |
| What bin Laden had to do with 9-11 or what he might have known about it is purely a matter of speculation. | |
| Though never averse to boasting, he never claimed credit for the attack. | |
| The Taliban, the most serious imputation against them was that they refused to turn over bin Laden. | |
| Graveyard of Narratives, Angelo Cotavilla writes, and finishes the piece beautifully. | |
| By challenging this narrative that we had to be here even for 20 years and now our inability to get out of the country is the following. | |
| The final line is this. | |
| Perhaps the only useful result of the Afghan enterprises' clamorous collapse at a time when so much that our ruling class is doing also collapses of its own weight is the widespread recognition that we are not seeing the results of discreet choices about foreign policy. | |
| We're experiencing the inexorable working out of the logic by which a whole class lives, moves, and has its being. | |
| Graveyard of Narratives, Angelo Cotovilla, American Mind. | |
| This was a project by the ruling class. | |
| And Americans are dead and trillions are spent for what? | |
| A stronger enemy and a weaker homeland. | |

| As we predicted, the Supreme Court has ruled that Joe Biden acted unconstitutionally by signing a continuation of the Biden administration's eviction moratorium. | |
| Last night, the Supreme Court, on rather predictable lines, John Roberts actually did the right thing, ruled six to three, Clarence Thomas, John Roberts, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, six to three against Sotomayor, Kagan, and Brian. | |
| The Supreme Court ruled that, quote, if a federally imposed eviction moratorium is to continue, Congress must specifically authorize it. | |
| Congress was on notice that a further extension would almost surely require new legislation, yet it failed to act in several weeks leading up to the moratorium's expiration. | |
| An unsigned eight-page opinion. | |
| Now, the three dissenters, this tells you exactly where the American left and their regime is. | |
| They said, well, no, the cases are going up, so we can make our own law. | |
| That's what they said. | |
| They said, this is a massive issue, and it's going to get kind of covered up because of the more important stuff happening in Kabul. | |
| But this is a preview of where they're going. | |
| They are going to be able to create their own laws in the future because they justify the need. | |
| This is what they said. | |
| The three justices said, COVID-19 transmission rates have spiked in recent weeks, reaching levels that the CDC puts as high as last winter. | |
| 150,000 new cases per day. | |
| This goes to show the power that propagandist media has over our courts. | |
| So if Joe Biden signed an executive order into law saying that driving is illegal because 36,000 people plus die on the road every single year, would the Supreme Court allow that to happen? | |
| If Joe Biden came out and said, I am now going to say no more fossil fuels because climate change is killing so many people, just make up some number. | |
| Forget what the law says. | |
| It's what the need says. | |
| And the need, according to these justices, warrant the abolition of private property and the ability to evict people. | |
| Now, thankfully, thanks to President Trump, we have seats on the U.S. Supreme Court that checked this ridiculous executive order. | |
| The White House said it was disappointed in the ruling. | |
| The Biden administration is disappointed the Supreme Court has blocked the most recent CDC eviction moratorium, while confirmed cases of the Delta variant are significant across the country. | |
| Now, can someone tell me what kicking someone out for not paying their rent and the delta variant, why those two things are somehow tied together? | |
| I thought the vaccines work. | |
| I thought masks are our future. | |
| So then why should it matter that some bum is not paying his rent for 18 months? | |
| As a result of this ruling, families will face the painful impact of evictions, and communities across the country will face a greater risk of exposure to COVID-19. | |
| Oh, I see. | |
| So kicking someone out for not paying rent and schlepping around and literally stealing money from somebody else's property is somehow a risk to the community for COVID-19. | |
| Do you see where this is headed? | |
| They're going to be able to do whatever they want to do to confiscate guns. | |
| If they get enough seats, there will be an executive order signed one day saying gun violence is such a pandemic. | |
| I am signing an executive order to confiscate all weapons. | |
| And justice will say, yeah, look, look at the numbers. | |
| You see, this is the difference between a living constitution and an activist justice like Sotomayor and an originalist like Clarence Thomas Alito and Neil Gorsuch, who believe the law is what it says and it's unchanging. | |
| It's called textualism. | |
| The Biden administration said the Delta variant of the coronavirus had propelled a new surge of cases just to find the new extension. | |
| The trajectory has since changed unexpectedly, dramatically, and for the worse. | |
| The seven-day average of daily new cases, not deaths, cases. | |
| It's a case demic right now. | |
| Nearly a tenfold increase over the rate when the court ruled in June. | |
| Wait, so vaccination rates went up dramatically since June, and yet cases have gone up tenfold. | |
|
Tenfold Case Surge

|
|
| Are those two things related? | |
| We're not allowed to ask those questions, of course. | |
| What if Joe Biden ignores it? | |
| What's the Supreme Court going to do? | |
| As Andrew Jackson famously said in Wooster v. Georgia in 1832, let Marshall send his army. | |
| What if Biden defies John Roberts and says, let Robert send his army? | |
| Joe Biden illegally signed the executive order. | |
| He even predicted the Supreme Court would rule against him. | |
| How far is he willing to push this? | |
| Well, after the news in Kabul, I don't know if Joe Biden's willing to push a domestic fight while he has foreign chaos as well. | |
