California's Democrat Dream Comes to an End

Charlie is on top of the California recall saga, tracking the meteoric rise of the Sage from South Central, Larry Elder, as new polls have the once unthinkable recall effort in a statistical dead heat. Could a remnant of California voters still rise up and shock the world? If the smears and attacks on Elder are any indication, even the Democrat establishment and their media cronies believe the threat is real. As the LA Times calls Elder, who is a black man from South Los Angeles, "the black face of white supremacy" Charlie breaks down exactly why he thinks Larry Elder has a legitimate path to victory in the Golden State and why the Democrats dreaming of one party rule are right to be panicking. Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Mini Presidential Race in California 00:07:39
What if I told you that there is a mini-presidential race that is happening right now?
Many of you are wondering, what can I do to avenge what happened to Donald Trump?
What can I do to get in on the fight?
What if I told you that in the next three weeks, the largest, most populated state in the country has an election.
And actually, voting has already begun where the Democrats are beyond nervous.
Now, we've been on this for many months now.
In fact, I spoke at Jack Hibbs Church back in January, right, as Joe Biden took power.
And I told everyone to focus on the recall.
If you could recall Gavin Newsom, everything can change.
And I'm trying to see here, what was the date of the French laundry dinner?
I'm trying to see what that was.
That was December.
Yeah, that's what changed the entire trajectory of the recall effort.
And as it stands today, according to the latest polls, and I'm reading from a con artist's website, not a good guy.
He was so wrong about the Trump thing, but he is the only one that's actually aggregating polls.
Unless real clear politics is, I'm not sure.
538.
I got to give credit to this.
Latest polls of the California recall election.
It's a statistical tie to keep or remove Gavin Newsom.
Now, I've gone through this many times, and I'm going to go through it again.
That how it works in California is the yes-no question: yes, recall, no recall.
If it's yes, recall, then it goes to the next question.
Whoever gets a plurality of those votes becomes governor.
So, to give you an idea of the polling, July 14th, a month ago, 53% of California voters wanted to keep Gavin Newsom.
Now, 48% of voters want to keep Gavin Newsome.
The polls are in a statistical tie, everybody.
And as Nate Silver rates it, the A polls have it within one or two points, or three points.
In fact, the Survey USA poll, get this: the Survey USA poll, which Nate Silver calls an A poll, has Gavin Newsom losing the recall by nine points.
Democrats are freaking out because, in the largest, most populated state in the country, a remnant of voters that decided not to move and hold the line are on the precipice of shocking the world and the wonder boy, the anointed one, the boy king with the slicked back hair of the Swawel Pelosi, Harris, boxer, Feinstein regime.
California, that looked like an impenetrable object.
California, it looked untouchable.
You might as well colonize Neptune, we were told.
That's never going to turn.
You can't do it.
Stop wasting your time.
It's too big of a project.
Too big, too vast.
Give up.
The drumbeat of cynicism set in and people started to leave to Arizona.
Thanks, thanks a lot.
Never should have come there.
To Texas, to Tennessee, Nevada, Idaho.
But slowly and surely, I can tell you, all of a sudden, that remnant got louder and expanded.
And pastors across the great state of California to Jack Kibbs, to Rob McCoy, to James Cadiz, and Joe Pettick, and John Randall, and Greg Denham, and Pastor Juergen, and Greg Farrington, and Mike McClure mobilized their congregations to get signatures in support of the recall of Gavin Newsom.
Now, we were told at first the recall is never going to happen.
They're not going to get the signatures.
And they did.
We were told that Gavin Newsom was going to be listed as a Democrat on the ballot, and he isn't.
Instead, it's yes, no, Gavin Newsom.
Most people don't even know if he's a Democrat or Republican.
Most people in California don't even know him, a state of 35 million people.
I guarantee you that a lot of Californians can't pick him out of a lineup.
So as it stands today, the Democrat Party is deploying tens of millions of dollars of resources weekly to try to save a governor's race in the bluest state in the country, where the vice president is from, the Speaker of the House is from, Adam Schiff is from, the head of the House Intelligence Committee.
How did this happen?
It happened because people refused to give up.
And also, there is a viable alternative.
As I mentioned, I did five speaking events in California the last 24 hours.
I have not seen enthusiasm and energy like this since the Tea Party movement or since the Trump movement.
People of all different stripes and backgrounds, different languages even, are uniting and saying, we have to remove this man.
And what is Gavin Newsom's great pitch to the people of California?
What is his sales pitch?
Now, I want to get this tape, Connor, if you could get it.
He blows up at an editorial board meeting and the newspaper meeting saying, hey, it's a fact.
It's better here in California than in Texas.
He gets very angry.
And I can tell you right now, the humiliation and the debacle of what just happened in Kabul is not doing the Democrats any favors right now.
It is not doing the Democrats any favors in the recall election in California.
Now, maybe you're listening right now in Leeds, North Dakota.
Maybe you're listening right now, halfway across the country in Atlanta or Dallas.
And you say, Charlie, what does the California recall have to do with me?
Number one, it's three weeks away to send a political shockwave to Nancy Pelosi, Kamala Harris, Adam Schiff, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, and the entire ruling class degenerate elite that have been doing nothing but using and abusing you, mandating your children wearing masks with vaccines, keeping the borders wide open and humiliating us in Kabul.
You can set a shockwave to them that the people are still in charge of the nation.
Number two, you want to talk about all of a sudden building towards 2022.
A Republican governor in California would be a very good start for that.
Not to mention, the maps are not yet drawn in California for the congressional seats.
We can get a double fact check on that, but I don't think they've been approved.
And do you know they have to be signed off by the governor?
You want to take back the House of Representatives, everybody?
You want to retire Nancy Pelosi?
Now, California might have an independent maps commission.
I doubt they do.
I bet it's done all through some sort of a cartel or a collusion network because they always thought they were going to be in control.
In most states, though, they have sort of a committee that does that.
In 2018, Newsom won a landslide based on his support amongst Hispanics.
Today, Hispanics in the Emerson poll support the recall by 54% to 41%.
And it's an August 14th article, so it could be even higher now as now children are getting re-locked down.
They are getting mandated with masks again, and they have to have vaccines.
I can tell you now that when the ruling class provokes you so hard, they poke you in the eye.
Larry Elder Faces Name Calling 00:07:16
They better expect a response, and they never expected this.
Gavin Newsom is not sleeping well.
In fact, I have it on very exclusive information.
Do you know where Gavin Newsom was for a couple days in July vacationing in the hills of Montana?
I could tell you where, but I won't tell you where because I have people told me exactly where he was.
Why was Gavin Newsom in Montana while his state was literally burning?
While the Delta variant was raging, while the southern border was open, Gavin Newsom was vacationing in Montana when your children couldn't even leave the community.
That's who Gavin Newsom is.
He's the same sort of arrogant, he's a creature of the arrogant attitude that says, we are going to mandate the vaccine for Marines, but not for White House staff.
How many years have I been telling you about Relief Factor?
A lot.
Truth is, I know millions of people.
In fact, some people say over 100 million people are struggling with some kind of pain, maybe from exercise or just getting older.
Now, Pete and Seth Talbot, they are on a mission.
You rarely see this kind of focus and commitment.
They recently shared with me that they are doubling down and want to literally double their total number of happy customers in the next year.
And I believe they'll do it.
So here's the deal.
Go to relieffactor.com.
That's relieffactor.com or call 800-500-8384.
People ask me, tell me why Relief Factor is so successful in lowering or eliminating pain.
I'm often asked that question.
So maybe you want to be able to do cartwheels or be able to do backflips like Producer Andrew.
Maybe you want to be able to run a marathon, swim underwater, go scuba diving, jump out of an airplane, but maybe it's your knee pain, back pain, joint pain, whatever pain it might be.
Maybe Relief Factor is for you.
ReliefFactor.com, 100% drug-free.
Check it out, relieffactor.com.
When you look at all these women that have marched, something like 2 million women, Donald Trump has probably gotten more obese women off the couch and in the streets working out than Michelle Obama did in eight years.
Do you think Larry Elder should be the next governor of California?
I think Larry Elder, with tens of thousands of hours on the air, entertaining and thought-provoking.
If that's the most entertaining, that's disgusting.
What he just said is disgusting.
Yeah, it's so serious, Jim Acosta.
We must take ourselves so seriously.
He's a radio talk show host, okay?
And by the way, it's hilarious.
You ever see those women's march?
Woo!
I remember when the Democrats used to be all into health and veganism and fitness.
Not anymore.
Larry Elder has the Democrats so worried that they now have to all of a sudden become offended at jokes.
How dare Larry Elder make fun of people?
Now, Larry Elder really has got the California Democrats in a confusing state.
I want to say this.
For all the other Republicans that are in the race, drop out immediately, consolidate behind Larry Elder, and get all your support behind him.
Only Larry can win this race.
There is no other way.
I just traveled to the state.
We did five events.
No one else has any shot.
Okay.
There's some really good people running, phenomenal people, and I wish them well.
But I would hate to have a Democrat who this Path Wreath guy, whatever his name is, Kevin Pathrith or whatever, edge out Larry Elder because every Republican split the vote around 7% to 8%.
Larry Elder's the man, and he's a friend of mine, and I'm backing him proudly.
Larry Elder getting into this race has confused Democrats.
What's a, wait, what's a black man being a Republican?
No, we control black people in the Democrat Party.
You're trying to tell me that there's a free-thinking conservative out there.
And the Los Angeles Times, I just love this.
They've really shown, they're really showing how worried they are.
Erica D. Smith.
Now I love the name Erica, I have to say.
But this person does shame to a great name.
Erica D. Smith wrote for the Los Angeles Times column, Larry Elder is the black face of white supremacy.
You've been warned.
You hear that?
She's saying Larry Elder has both black face and he's a white supremacist as a black person.
Can you believe the Los Angeles Times published this?
This is something that like a 19-year-old blogger at Wellesley College would write.
No, this is the Los Angeles Times.
I'm going to go through this piece because it's so interesting.
Larry Elder smiled the smug smile of a black conservative.
Hold on a second.
What kind of writing prose is this?
Do you not speak English?
Larry Elder smiled the smug smile.
You could just say Larry Elder smiled smugly.
Who's the copy editor of this?
It's like the editor is dumb and the writer is dumb, anyway, of a black conservative who could very well be liberal California's next governor.
Well, at least she tells the truth and she opens the statement of why she's losing her mind.
Quote, where do you start with the damage Gavin Newsom has done to the state we both love?
Larry Elder asks.
He leaned forward and gazed across the room of white Republicans.
Yeah, we hate those people who had come to hear him speak in Orange County.
Rising crime, it's because of this phony narrative that the police are engaging in systemic racism and cops are being pulled back.
When you reduce the possibility of a bad guy getting caught, getting convicted, and getting incarcerated, guess what?
Crime goes up.
Then another smile, this one even more smug than the last.
Can you say, duh?
You see, Erica D. Smith, she's never met a black conservative.
She's a very fragile person.
You read her Twitter profile.
She's looking out the window, gazing into the sky, as Mao Se Tung did after he sent the 12th millionth person to their death.
And she puts in her Twitter bio, from Ohio, proud Californian by choice, as she gazes into the heavens of how she dreams of killing white Republicans.
I'm kidding.
I won't lie, she writes.
Few things infuriate me more than watching a black person use willful blindness and cherry-pick facts to make overly simplistic arguments that whitewash the complex problems that come with being black in America.
Oh, you mean like writing garbage in the LA Times?
You're so oppressed that you're able to get propaganda published in the third largest newspaper in the country.
Spare me the Selma speech, okay?
And throughout his career, and as a radio host, as a talking head for Fox News, yeah, we hate him.
And now as a gubernatorial candidate, Elder has made a point of doing just that, usually with just a lot of taunting and toddler-like name-calling of his ideological enemies in the process.
Oh, really?
Name-calling.
The name of your entire article is you're calling a black person a white supremacist.
And Larry Elder's the name caller.
You know what drives the left crazier than anything else?
A black conservative they can't control.
They go wild.
LA Times Calls Elder Supremacist 00:15:19
Did you get hit with a big tax bill you weren't expecting?
With rates being very low and home equity being high, perfect time to refinance.
Look, we're all about refinancing all this.
Here's the long and short of it: you should not be giving business to bad companies.
So if you're using Goldman Sachs, bad company.
Wells Fargo, bad company.
JP Morgan, bad company.
All these companies, they love BLM.
They hate America.
And quite honestly, if you're listening to this program, they hate you.
And so if you want to take out a loan, here's what I'm going to tell you: what to do.
Maybe you're a new family.
You're like, I want to buy a house and it's my dream house and I want to take out a loan.
The good news is that there are partners called Andrew and Todd, Andrew Del Rey and Todd of Akian, andrewandTodd.com.
Just save that in your notes, by the way.
Just save it in the notes of your phone because you might need it.
Like, I don't need it.
My banker at Goldman Sachs is just fine, or my banker at Bank of America is just fine.
Like, okay.
Then when you go take that loan and you go sign those 95,000 pieces of paper they give you, you know what you're really signing?
You're signing contribution forms to BLM Incorporated.
That's what you're doing.
When you go take out a loan with Chase, when you go take out a loan with Wells Fargo, you might as well go give the money to Joe Biden.
So when you go to DC next and you go travel, maybe with your family, why don't you just get a cashier's check and drop it off at the White House entrance?
That's what you're doing when you bank with these woke losers at Wells Fargo.
So take out a loan with the good guys.
It's Andrew and Todd.
Look, they're just great people.
They're Christians.
They love the Lord.
They love America.
And you call them up and just say, I want to speak to Andrew and Todd.
That's all you have to say.
Charlie Kirk sent me.
And their number is 888-888-1172.
That's AndrewandTodd.com, AndrewandTodd.com, 888, 888, 1172.
You go to AndrewandTodd.com, 888, 8888, 1172, and say, you should make a vow to yourself.
Just make a promise to yourself.
I refuse to fund companies that hate America.
I refuse to fund companies that hate America.
And you have a choice.
If you want to take out a loan or just explore the idea of refinancing, AndrewandTodd.com, call 888, 888, 1172.
I go out to eat with these guys.
They're terrific.
They're good people.
AndrewNTodd.com.
Larry Elder has Democrats scrambling in California.
Democrats don't know how to play defense.
They do not know how to play defense.
And they're really bad at it.
This woman, Erica D. Smith, I'm going to continue with her article.
The title of the article, Larry Elder is the Black Face of White Supremacy.
You've been warned.
She continues writing, and throughout Larry's career as a radio host, we read this part, Talking Head, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Okay.
Like a lot of black people, though, I've learned that it's best often just to ignore people like Elder.
People who are, as my dad used to say, skin folk, but not necessary kinfolk.
Unbelievably racist.
That's certainly how LA's black and politically powerful have tried to deal with him over the years.
As the Time once wrote, Maxine Waters refused to be a guest on Elder's show because, quote, why would she boost the ratings of a man who ridicules her by mixing a recording of her barking dog over her sound bites?
Well, how could you tell the difference between the barking dog and Maxine Waters?
That's the real question.
I mean, why would you need to mix them?
They're indecipherable.
But with polls showing that nearly half of likely voters support recalling Newsom and that Elder is in the lead to replace him, that's the reason they're writing this.
Larry Elder is a white supremacist.
Larry Elder is Nathan Bedford Forrest.
Larry Elder is John C. Calhoun.
He is the worst person ever to exist.
Don't believe me?
Look at him.
He's black as a white supremacist.
He's in the lead to replace him.
This is in the Los Angeles Times.
I was going to reiterate that.
This is not some sort of weirdo blog.
The LA Times published this garbage.
He is in the lead to replace him.
Ignoring the self-proclaimed sage from South Central LA is no longer a viable strategy, particularly for black people.
So let me tell you what they're going to do now.
All of the press, including CNN, is attacking Elder out of control right now.
It's only going to help him because the recall effort is a name ID effort.
This is going to boost Larry by eight to 10 points.
I'm telling you right now, the people that already support Larry are not going to not support him because he says that Donald Trump is mobilizing obese liberals to go for a walk in the female march.
That's not going to be a deal breaker for them, trust me.
Especially a radio talk show guy.
Melina Abdullah, co-founder of BLM Los Angeles, the pseudo-domestic terror organization, says, quote, he is a danger, a clear and present danger.
Ooh, I liked Larry more.
The more I read this article, electelder.com, everybody.
It's not just that Elder would be a Trump fanboy Republican trying to run a state dominated by Democrats, or that he has zero experience in elected office and clearly doesn't have the temperament for government, governance, whatever that means.
It's that perhaps out of spite or perhaps out of an insatiable need for attention, Elder opposes every single public policy idea that's supported by black people to help black people.
Oh, really?
How about school choice?
Larry Elder stands for that.
Do you stand for that, Erica D. Smith?
Larry Elder stands for more police on streets.
Do you know that that's actually what black people want?
Or are you too busy living in a white neighborhood, Erica D. Smith?
Erica D. Smith continues in the Los Angeles Times and says, this has been true for decades, but it's particularly problematic given the racial reckoning following the murder of George Floyd.
Ah, yes.
Floyd Apalooza, let us honor St. George again.
We haven't changed our country enough since then.
She writes, quote, we have been having a series of uncomfortable discussions about systemic racism in its institutions across the state, said State Senator Sidney Calmarga, quote, and about how to really peel back the layers of ignorance and ineptitude so that we can deal with them in very real ways.
How about, here's one way to end systemic racism, which doesn't exist.
Why don't you make Maxine Waters live in her district?
That would be a start.
How about you go look into Maxine Waters' insider financial dealings?
Do you think that black people are benefiting from the leadership of Maxine Waters?
Larry Elder is someone who just fundamentally doesn't believe that systemic racism exists.
I just want to say, Larry is black.
He grew up in South Central LA.
I thought you were supposed to listen to black voices.
I thought that we have to listen to the experience of people whose skin color has melanin content in them.
She writes, Elder scoffs at the many efforts to reform the criminal justice system and to root out racial bias in policing by requiring more transparency and accountability from officers.
Instead, he keeps trotting out statistics that purport to show that blacks are particularly prone to murdering one another.
They are.
I guess she's never come across the statistical information that black on black crime is the leading cause of death in urban America.
Not outside, let me, I don't want to get fact-checked on this, leading cause of death as it comes to as it comes to violent crime.
Okay, it's not police on blacks, it's not white on blacks, not Asian on blacks.
I think that should satisfy the apparatchiks.
She writes, Larry Elder boldly said, Do we still have the phenomenon where a young black man is eight more times likely to be killed by another black man than a young white man?
If the answer to those series of questions is yes, I submit to you that systemic racism is not the problem, which is true.
Elder mocks critical race theory, though I'm not sure he understands what it actually is.
That doesn't bode well for ethnic studies in California.
So just so you know what ethnic studies is in California, can we get that exact article, Connor, where they're telling students that they have to pray to the Aztec god of child sacrifice?
No, that's a real thing.
Gavin Newsom, who, by the way, Gavin Newsom also signed a House bill that decriminalized pedophilia.
Erica D. Smith, big Gavin Newsom fan.
I bet Erica D. Smith was applauding at the decriminalization of pedophilia.
And Los Angeles Times, full air cover.
The cultural studies curriculum that she's talking about in California that Larry Elder will remove, hopefully, is, I think we have the article right here from CharlieKirk.com.
California public school children could be forced to sing by teachers to the Aztec God of Human Sacrifice, reported by Christopher Ruffo.
The California Education Department voted to approve ethnic studies curriculum that advocates for the decolonization of American society and, quote, elevates Aztec religious symbolism, and quote, seeks to extend the left's cultural dominance of California's public education system.
It includes students will chant to the gods of Q et al. and Julietso Puketel and Jip Tuquek, seeking healing epistemologies and a revolutionary spirit.
Julitza Piquetcal is particular is the Aztec deity of war and inspired hundreds of thousands of human sacrifices during Aztec rule.
Finally, the chance comes to the climax with the request for liberation, transformation, decolonization, after which students are forced to shout, punch a bear, punch a bear, punch a bear, in pursuit of ultimate critical consciousness.
That's what Erica Smith is talking about in this article where it comes to ethnic studies in California, just so you're clear.
If Larry Elder is elected, the task force studying reparations for black Californians would be toast.
Where do I support this wonderful man?
ElectElder.com.
And as would yet unsigned bills to allow police officers to be decertified for misconduct, conduct and support community-based alternatives to 911.
Oh, you mean abolishing the police?
Community-based alternatives to 9-1-1.
You mean like that?
Just don't interrupt the knife fights between the two young teenagers.
Let them fight it out.
I mean, come on.
You don't have knife fights in your neighborhood?
What are you, a racist?
Then there are Elder's views on the masks and vaccines for COVID-19.
Oh, this comes now.
Now he's a real danger.
He's a super spreader.
It's particularly telling a week ago, a who's who of black elected officials from members of Congress to the LA City Council lined up at Kedron County Health Center to urge black Angelinos to get vaccinated.
The rates continue to be abysmal, and black people are still dying disproportionately.
Elder, meanwhile, was off somewhere tweeting his grievances over masks and vaccine mandates, saying, quote, he will repeal those before I have the first cup of coffee, and I don't drink coffee.
God bless this man.
I would have asked Elder to explain his views, but his campaign hasn't returned my messages.
I wouldn't either.
However, I'm fairly certain he'd say his thinking is the result of being free and independent, rather than a believer in the victimhood messaging that's supposedly purported by Democrats.
He'd also probably say, as he did on Travis Smiley's radio show recently, that he doesn't care much about black people.
What?
He never said that.
This is the quote he uses.
I believe that many policies that have been implemented by the left, often with the best of intentions, have disproportionately effect on black America.
How does he say he hate black people?
How did the LA Times publish this slander?
And I'm still waiting for the point where, in the article where she proves that he's a white supremacist, how do you get a clickbait title like that in the Los Angeles Times with literally nothing that points to it?
Some black people do agree with him.
We aren't a monolith.
And so it's true.
He does have fans who are black and are likely to vote for him.
Oh, really?
So not all black people are the same?
That would be racist to believe, which you are.
But it's also true that black people, particularly black Angelinos, overwhelmingly vote Democratic.
That's the foundation of a new campaign launched by local, state, and federal black officials from LA to increase black turnout amongst black voters.
Be careful what you wish for.
They don't like Gavin Newsom.
The campaign wasn't created because of Elder standing in the polls, but, quote, that accelerated its intensity.
Ah, yes.
How dare we have the first ever black governor of California?
No, we would rather have the white liberal guy.
I thought that black lives mattered.
I thought race was everything.
I thought we need to have critical consciousness.
I thought melanin content was the ultimate social currency.
So you're trying to tell me that Erica D. Smith would rather have a white male colonialist governor than a black man from south central LA?
Maybe it's all about power and not about race.
The campaign wasn't created, as I said, because of Elder.
Instead, his candidacy feels personal, as she says, like an insult to blackness.
Oh, we're going to keep on going through this article.
Now, why am I going to this article in such great detail?
This shows you how fragile Democrats' control over the black community is.
They just go to racist, bigot, homophobic, and immediately throw pejoratives.
Larry Elder might be the next governor of California, everybody, no matter how much they call him a white supremacist.

Jim Crow Fearmongering Exposed 00:04:40
LA City Councilwoman Mark Ridley Thomas writes about Larry Elder or says about Larry Elder, who they call a white supremacist.
Use your talents and gifts for good, not to bring other people down, particularly those that don't deserve to be down.
That's what Larry Elder fails to understand.
He's throwing out all the rhetoric about the minimum wage, all that talk about poverty pimps, all that anti-vaccine.
It's only politically, it's not only politically, but intellectually offensive.
Earl Ofari Hutchinson, a political analyst and author, says, quote, the only positive I see in an elder candidate is that it's another wake-up call for Democrats in California nationally to not take black people or people of color's votes and support for granted.
Najee Ali says, activist, he'd be a disaster for the black community.
He would suffer greatly.
He's the black Trump, and I'm speaking as his friend.
Even though Ali acknowledges that his friendship is strained.
Abdullah, who runs BLM, says, quote, anytime you put a black face on white supremacy, which is what Larry Elder is, there are people who will utilize that as an opportunity to deny white supremacy.
They say, how could this be white supremacy?
This is a black man, but everything that he's pushing, everything he stands for, is advancing white supremacy.
Oh, you mean like school choice for black kids is white supremacy?
Abdullah, getting safe streets in Compton is white supremacy, improving literacy rates.
Black people know better than how dangerous Elder is.
She writes in the LA Times, LA Times, he's the OG troll that no one is supposed to feed.
But here we are.
She ends by saying, Newsom hasn't been perfect.
It took far too long for the state to roll out the COVID-19 tests and vaccines equitably.
Yeah, right.
And if hundreds of thousands of Californians weren't still on their unemployment checks, the level of fraud and mismanagement of the Employment Development Department would almost be comical.
But as Kamarger said, quote, I'm not interested in going back to Jim Crow because I want to have a black person as governor.
Duh.
She ends her piece.
Do they actually believe this nonsense that they write?
That Larry Elder is going to usher in Jim Crow back to California?
First of all, would he even have the power to do that as governor?
No, of course not.
It's a silly question.
This is nothing more than a fear-mongering and scare tactic.
This is something that is a great fault line in the entire hyperracialization of American politics.
And that's when we put up black conservatives for office like Larry Elder that dare to call BLM what it is, advocate for school choice, safer streets, economic development, and empowerment.
And how does he get received by his fellow black Americans?
They call him a white supremacist.
It's pretty racist to do that, isn't it?
Larry Elder has the entire political establishment of California reeling and in a free fall.
If Larry Elder actually ushered in Jim Crow, by the way, he wouldn't be allowed to serve as governor.
It's such a ridiculous thing to say.
It really is.
You know what the closest thing to Jim Crow you actually have in California is the state of the public and government-run schools under the regime of Gavin Newsom that have been happening in downtown Los Angeles, while the white kids get to go to private schools.
Larry Elder will try to change that through school choice.
But Erica D. Smith doesn't care about that.
Erica D. Smith says she cares about black people.
I care about black issues.
What are those black issues that you actually care about?
You're trying to tell me that black issues are different than just regular human issues, like the development of the character and the soul and the spirit of a human being.
Safe streets, having lots of children, staying loyally married to somebody?
Yeah, we need to worry about black issues as if we need to have identity politics type segmenting of issues.
Larry Elder recognizes and understands the evil of this.
That's why he's succeeding.
He's willing to call it out.
By the way, Larry Elder is raising millions of dollars.
Gavin Newsom is putting out ads all over California.
I've seen a ton since I've been here.
He's on defense.
And I call everyone across the country to do some role to help out Larry Elder in this race.
He can win, which would be a shock to the system, the likes of which we haven't seen since Donald Trump's election in 2016.
