Why Masks Don't Work
00:11:07
|
|
| Hey everybody, this is producer Andrew Colvett filling in for Charlie. | |
| Masks don't work and here's why. | |
| I go through in great detail why masks don't work, why mask mandates are ridiculous, and while they might even have the opposite effect in surging coronavirus cases across the nation. | |
| And as a matter of fact, we have international examples to prove this as well as domestic ones. | |
| Folks, do not comply. | |
| Do not give in. | |
| Mass mandates are coming. | |
| They are in fact already here. | |
| This is an episode dedicated to why we must fight back and why they are ridiculous. | |
| Guys, if you want to support the efforts of this show and all of our great team, please consider doing so at charliekirk.com forward slash support. | |
| Your support means the world to us. | |
| It keeps us going. | |
| It gives us the courage to move forward and say the truth and speak it loudly and proudly and boldly. | |
| Thank you for all of those of you who are already supporting our efforts. | |
| And to those of you who are not, please consider doing so. | |
| Guys, without further ado, buckle up. | |
| Here we go. | |
| Charlie, what you've done is incredible here. | |
| Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus. | |
| I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk. | |
| Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks. | |
| I want to thank Charlie. | |
| He's an incredible guy. | |
| His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created. | |
| Turning point USA. | |
| We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country. | |
| That's why we are here. | |
| Look, it doesn't matter what your politics are or who you voted for. | |
| Everyone should have the right to express themselves freely. | |
| Sadly, the big tech monopoly has instead opted for silencing tactics and censorship. | |
| To fight back against big tech's control of the internet, I use ExpressVPN. | |
| Ever wondered how free to access tech giants make all their money? | |
| Well, by tracking your searches, video history, and everything you click on by building a profile on you and then selling your sensitive data. | |
| When you use ExpressVPN app on your computer or phone, you anonymize much of your online presence by hiding your IP address. | |
| That makes your activity more difficult to trace and sell to advertisers. | |
| What's more is ExpressVPN encrypts 100% of your network data to protect you from eavesdroppers and cyber criminals. | |
| What I like most is how easy it is to use. | |
| It takes just one click to protect all your devices. | |
| That's why ExpressVPN is rated number one by CNET and Wired. | |
| Revoke big tech's right to your data. | |

| I want to talk about masks. | |
| I want to talk about vaccine passports. | |
| I want to talk about all this stuff because it seemed like about two weeks ago, and I actually really remember this very well. | |
| Charlie was on Tucker Carlson's show and he was describing that all of a sudden this messaging change happened. | |
| And it happened really on the center right and even within conservative circles. | |
| He went on Tucker Carlson and he said, what happened in the last 48 hours that it feels like there's this coordinated effort to all of a sudden push vaccines and push vaccine mandates. | |
| And really it was sort of like a buckling. | |
| We blinked on the right. | |
| And then what happened? | |
| The surge, not necessarily of COVID deaths or anything like that, but a surge in mandates, what I call panic porn or pandemic porn, news outlets, everybody talking about Delta, Delta, Delta. | |
| So here we are. | |
| About two weeks later after Charlie first noted that. | |
| I remember Tucker's eyes kind of raising. | |
| I kind of said, ah, you know, you're totally right. | |
| 48 hours is all it took. | |
| We blinked, and this is what we get. | |
| I'm just going to go through a series of headlines. | |
| I pulled these this morning talking about just different escalations in the pandemic. | |
| Breaking, Governor of Maryland suggests he will impose more lockdowns due to people believing, quote, conspiracy theories about the vaccine. | |
| New York City edict prevents majority of blacks from entering restaurants. | |
| True story. | |
| New York City will require workers and customers to show proof of at least one dose for indoor dining and other activities. | |
| Now, which is kind of actually of note because you're not technically fully vaccinated until two weeks after your second dose. | |
| Nevertheless, you've got to have at least one pass. | |
| You know, it's interesting, too, that the New York Times has already capitulated to the whole vaccine mandate thing. | |
| And so they're just going, they're going straight for this headline. | |
| Here's how you can show proof of vaccination in New York City. | |
| Another headline from The Atlantic. | |
| Unvaccinated people need to bear the burden. | |
| Beyond limiting the coronavirus's flow from hotspots to the rest of the country, allowing only vaccinated people on domestic flights will change minds too. | |
| This is a CNN analyst who wrote that for The Atlantic. | |
| So now the privilege, as she calls it, of traveling around the country will only be limited to those who have been vaccinated. | |
| Zero tolerance. | |
| CNN fires unvaccinated employees. | |
| As if they needed any more proof that CNN was a disastrous place. | |
| Oh my gosh. | |
| New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy to announce mask requirements for kids in K through 12 schools. | |
| Mask mandate reinstated in San Francisco as daily COVID deaths hit zero. | |
| This is all real. | |
| I mean, this is real stuff. | |
| CDC discusses confinement, internment camps for those at high risk of china virus. | |
| The new American. | |
| Now, I know you're not allowed to say that. | |
| It's a thought crime. | |
| It's a word crime to say China virus, but nevertheless, this is actually a true story. | |
| We're going to get into it later in the hour. | |
| Confinement, internment camps, essentially, obviously they're not going to use those words, but practically it's the same. | |
| Chicago Teachers Union says coronavirus Delta variant opens door to potentially pause in-person instruction. | |
| So we all thought kids were going to go back to school in the fall and yay, vaccine. | |
| Oh, no, the country's open. | |
| Oh, not so fast, folks. | |
| That 100 million folks that aren't getting vaccinated, they're not letting your kids go back to school. | |
| See what they're doing? | |
| The carrot isn't working anymore, so they're going to use the stick. | |
| California healthcare. | |
| This was trending on Twitter this morning. | |
| California healthcare workers must be vaccinated by the end of September under new health order. | |
| That's right. | |
| If you work in healthcare in the state of California, you have to be vaccinated by the end of September. | |
| We're going to get into that one, too. | |
| And here you go. | |
| Here's the kicker. | |
| And this is probably one of the biggest reasons that we should never give the federal government so much of our money orbit power. | |
| We have a federalist system of government where the states have power and the federal government sure is granted certain powers, but it was supposed to be limited. | |
| Not so limited as it was in the Articles of the Confederation, but which led to chaos and we did need a little bit more central authority as our founders decided. | |
| So we created the Constitution. | |
| But nevertheless, we should limit the powers that go to the federal government because of this kind of craziness. | |
| White House doesn't deny it is considering withholding funds to force vaccinations. | |
| Okay, so we pay our money to the federal government, and then the federal government uses that and holds it over our head if certain states want to go their own way. | |
| So every time we send a dollar to Washington, you just remember when they send that money back to the states for road grants, whatever it is, we talked about this in a previous episode that the Biden administration is going to start using HUD grants to force local municipalities to change their zoning ordinances to basically destroy the suburbs. | |
| And now they're saying, hey, if you're not mandating vaccinations sufficiently in your local communities, guess what? | |
| We are going to then withhold federal funds. | |
| Now, this is not decisional yet, as the statement from the White House made clear, but it is being floated as one of the options. | |
| Now, remember, the carrot wasn't working anymore, folks. | |
| Got to move to the stick. | |
| So these are just, this is a sampling of headlines. | |
| And I mean, our team, our crack team here at the Charlie Kirk show has pulled all kinds of clips on this. | |
| Clip 11. | |
| Let's go all the way back to Clip 11 from earlier this week. | |
| This is Tony Fauci basically talking about this whole idea of masks being mandated or not mandated. | |
| Clip 11, let's play it. | |
| They are arguing that this is individual responsibility and individuals' right to decide. | |
| What is your answer to these, you know, these are Republican governors in some of the largest states in our country? | |
| Well, John, I disagree with them. | |
| I respectfully disagree with them. | |
| The fact is, there are things that are individual responsibilities that one has, and there are things that have to do with you individually, which also impact others. | |
| So he fundamentally disagrees with personal freedom. | |
| Just so we're translating that clearly, Tony Fauci says, listen, if I tell you to put on a mask, you bigot, you put on your darn mask right now. | |
| I don't want to hear any ifs, ands, or buts about it, you petulant child. | |
| You do what daddy says. | |
| I'm Tony Fauci. | |
| Personal liberties, that's for the birds. | |
| That's un-American. | |
| You need to care about your neighbor. | |
| You need to wear the mask. | |
| Well, folks, later in this hour, I'm going to do a comprehensive takedown of masks. | |
| I'm going to show and prove. | |
| And if you're on the live stream, you'll see some videos that don't have a lot of sound, but they sort of demonstrate it, why masks don't work. | |
| Okay? | |
| Now, this is sweeping the country. | |
| Our students are at risk of losing their school year. | |
| Again, those who are going to go to school are going to be wearing a mask. | |
| And why? | |
| Because of a Delta variant that is not deadly. | |
| It's not more deadly than the alpha variant that we lived through last year and earlier this year. | |
| It's not more deadly. | |
| It may be more contagious, but it's not more deadly. | |
| Folks, this is a very, very troubling, dangerous, and sad turn of events for this country, and we must not comply. | |
|
The Cost of Mandates

|
|
| I'm going to give you the data you need to back up your decisions to remain free people and not to comply with this tyrannical government, these tyrannical government edicts. | |
| More on the other side of the break. | |
| From critical race theory in your children's classroom to policy changes under the current administration, you need to know what's happening from a news source you can trust. | |

| Seriously, go subscribe as soon as you can. | |
| The Daily Wire is now launching the Morning Wire. | |
| It's called Morning Wire. | |
| Check it out. | |
| Okay, so I'm going to just play some random sound here, okay? | |
| Let's go ahead and play Cut 122. | |
| This is Dr. Michael Osterholm saying the quiet part out loud on CNN. | |
| Cut 122, quiet part out loud. | |
| Go ahead and play. | |
| We know today that many of the facecloth coverings that people wear are not very effective in reducing any of the virus movement in or out. | |
| We need to talk about better masking. | |
| We need to talk about N95 respirators. | |
| Okay, so this is a former COVID advisor on CNN saying that, you know, we need to talk about better masking. | |
| Okay. | |
| Listen, I'm just going to start going through some clips here. | |
| Let's go to 105. | |
| This is Fauci again in March 2020 talking about, hey, you don't need a mask. | |
| Come on, 105. | |
| Right now, people should not be walking. | |
| There's no reason to be walking around with a mask. | |
| When you're in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better, and it might even block a droplet. | |
| But it's not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. | |
| And often, there are unintended consequences. | |
| People keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face. | |
| Okay, so how does that square with what he said over the weekend saying that, well, you know, listen, you know, I don't really, I think that you're wrong for wanting your freedom from masks. | |
| Let's go ahead and play what a real peach, Governor Aza Hutchinson from Arkansas saying, you know what? | |
| He regrets signing a bill banning mask mandates. | |
| This is Cut 61. | |
| Now, remember, Aza Hutchinson was the same governor who got excoriated on Tucker Carlson's show over the trans issue. | |
| So let's go ahead and play Cut 61. | |
| I signed it for those reasons that our cases are at a low point. | |
| Everything has changed now. | |
| And yes, in hindsight, I wish that had not become law. | |
| But it is the law, and the only chance we have is either to amend it or for the courts to say that it has an unconstitutional foundation. | |
| That's a Republican saying he regrets signing a law that provided freedom to his constituents. | |
| Let's go to Cut 31. | |
| This is CDC Director Rochelle Walensky on how she wants to mask up all your kids at school. | |
| Cut 31. | |
| So in my mind, as a vaccine-preventable disease, we want to make sure that our kids stay in school wearing a mask. | |
| And then when the vaccines, should the vaccines become available for our children to vaccinate them to keep them safe and healthy. | |
| Let's go to CUT 24. | |
| This is Governor DeWine out of Ohio, another Republican, quote unquote, that he's urging Ohio schools to require kids wear masks in class. | |
| Let's go ahead and play CUT 24. | |
| Tell you what we have done. | |
| We came out last week with recommendations. | |
| There are recommendations. | |
| We leave it up to the local schools, 600 or some local schools. | |
| We leave it up to them. | |
| But we have a strong recommendation that because the population in school, kids in school, most of them are unvaccinated. | |
| And we had great success last winter, last school year. | |
| We saw virtually no spread in the classroom when all the kids were wearing masks. | |
| So we recommend. | |
| strong recommendation to our schools that they do that. | |
| Now, some will do that, some will not. | |
| So we have all of this sound that we, I literally just, I picked random clips. | |
| We've got so much of this now that, you know, essentially mask mandates and vaccine mandates are now the very trendy cause du jour of our of our ruling class. | |
| But here's the thing, and I'm going to go into this in great detail. | |
| I know I've been teasing it. | |
| I'm going to go into six different examples, six different examples that are provable of how masks do not work. | |
| And I'm also going to get into particulate size. | |
| Now, I'm not going to get all into the weeds so that I lose everybody, everybody falls asleep. | |
| Nevertheless, I can prove that masks do not work and that there are at least six very provable instances of when masks were mandated, cases went up. | |
| So the mass crowd is going to have to prove to me that there's any utility in wearing masks. | |
| Nevertheless, this is the push across the country, mask mandates, vaccine mandates, and they are not telling you all the facts, folks. | |
| This is just to make you feel like they're doing something. | |
| Hey, everybody, for the last year, a slew of bad policies have weakened America to the point where now even our food supply is in danger. | |
| That's why I urge you to get yourself some emergency food from My Patriot Supply. | |

| We are talking about masks. | |
| We're talking about mass mandates. | |
| If you have questions, and I was just actually going through some of your emails during the break, please email us at freedom at charliekirk.com. | |
| And we're all sort of in the inbox. | |
| So Connor will be looking at him. | |
| I'll be looking at him. | |
| Charlie will be looking at him. | |
| So please do send your questions there. | |
| I got one, and I think this is, it's very, it's very common. | |
| This is probably one of the most common questions that we get. | |
| Hi, Charlie. | |
| I've been listening to you for almost two years, and the info is amazing. | |
| This is from Giovanna, by the way. | |
| I have a question. | |
| Are there any options to deny the vaccine if they are requiring it at work? | |
| My husband is a deputy sheriff, and we'll just say in California. | |
| He just received an email that all county employees must get the jab before October 1st. | |
| We are not planning on getting the vaccine. | |
| He has worked for the department for over 15 years, and we want to know if there are any resources to help in this matter. | |
| Please help. | |
| Well, this is the issue of the day, right? | |
| We get this question all the time. | |
| You know, a lot of people feel like they're healthy. | |
| This has a mortality rate. | |
| The virus has a mortality rate of like 0.08%. | |
| Actually, you know what? | |
| We've got some great sound here from Rand Paul that I want to play specifically on this. | |
| It looks like Cut 101. | |
| Let's play Cut 101. | |
| This is Ram Paul on Fox and Friends this morning with Brian Kilmead, who's been like trending every day because he doesn't agree with any of these mandates. | |
| Let's play Cut 101, hear from Ram Paul. | |
| Even the CDC says you're not supposed to get vaccinated if you've been infected within three months. | |
| So what are we going to do? | |
| Tell people they can't fly for three months, even according to the CDC. | |
| So I do believe natural immunities should be taken into account. | |
| But even according to the CDC, this idiot would have us not flying for three months. | |
| So it makes no sense. | |
| It's complete collectivism. | |
| And all of these people are the same people who hooted and hollered and said, Trump is leading us to authoritarianism. | |
| What could be more authoritarian than a no-fly list for people who disagree with you? | |
| And that's actually about the no-fly list, which is very connected to all of this sort of collectivist thinking, this mandate thinking. | |
| Cut 102 is talking specifically about masks and decreasing rates of the disease. | |
| Let's play Cut 102, Ram Paul. | |
| I think that if you look objectively at mask mandates, whether it's in states, cities, counties, or countries, there's no correlation between a mask mandate and reduction and incidence of the disease. | |
| In fact, it's the opposite. | |
| The more mandates we got, the more of the disease we got. | |
| Now, I don't think the mask caused the disease, but I don't think the mask helped any. | |
| And in fact, most people are wearing cloth masks, and 97% of virus-sized particles go through cloth masks. | |
| So it's actually a disservice. | |
| When Dr. Fauci says, oh, the mask is more important than the vaccine, that's malpractice. | |
| He basically goes on to reiterate that this Delta variant is not more deadly. | |
| And that is a very, very important piece to this entire puzzle, folks, that the Delta variant is not more deadly. | |
| It is so, your mortality rate is so high if you are young, if you don't have comorbidities, meaning your chance of surviving this is so high that I'm not even kidding you. | |
| We get thousands of these emails coming through. | |
| What can we do? | |
| So we were talking about the Sheriff Department in California, Los Angeles Times this morning, California healthcare workers must be vaccinated end of September under a new health order. | |
| So in this LA Times article, it says the new order largely removes the testing option and allows only limited religious or medical exemptions from the vaccine requirement. | |
| So my advice to people like Giovanna, who's emailing us, there's hundreds and thousands of you that have done, please pursue. | |
| A lot of you are in situations working at departments like the Sheriff's Department for 15 years. | |
| Getting out is not so easy. | |
| Moving jobs is not so easy. | |
| Pursue the religious or medical exemptions. | |
| Please, by all means, there's going to be lawsuits that are coming out. | |
| Get on board with the lawsuits. | |
| Hopefully we start seeing a lot more class action lawsuits. | |
| This law fare is tremendously important. | |
| We've got to pursue it as much as we can. | |
| And then pursue the religious and medical exemptions when you can, okay? | |
| So you heard in that clip from Rand Paul that the masks largely don't work. | |
| And I've been hinting at this for most of the hour. | |
| And I'm going to steal some great work from a friend of ours, Daniel Horowitz, the Blaze. | |
| Very smart guy. | |
| You might even call him a bit on the, well, just, I don't want to say nerdy, but, you know, he's almost there. | |
| This is a guy that is just, he's a numbers guy. | |
| He's very analytical. | |
| Horowitz, six times the media credited mass with stopping a pandemic that then spread even more. | |
| You heard what Rand Paul, who's actually a doctor, said about the fact that there's no correlation between masks and decreasing rates of the disease. | |
| That is because there isn't any correlation. | |
| As a matter of fact, there's a lot of correlation to the opposite. | |
| Now, I want to go into the six instances that you can prove this. | |
| And I'll just say them, and then we'll dive in in a little bit of detail on some of them. | |
| India. | |
| India had over 80% mask compliance in February of this year, and their cases went up almost 3,000%. | |
| Okay? | |
| The Czech Republic, Japan, Israel, San Francisco, and Germany are all examples, provable, statistical, proven examples of mask mandates doing nothing to stem the tide of big surges in coronavirus. | |
| So there's a couple different reasons for this, of course. | |
| And one of them is, you know, we sort of gloss over the most logical pieces of this. | |
| And that's that there is a lot of gaps in a mask. | |
| So even the most fit, you know, we played the sound from CNN that says most cloth masks don't work. | |
| And so this gentleman, I believe his name is Dr. Michael Osterholm, said we need to start talking about better masking. | |
| So what we have here is a divergence between two things. | |
| One is what they see in the test laboratories, meaning they test these masks in a very controlled environment and they get to see certain results, right? | |
| The problem is when you take these out into the public, nobody is using them as you would use them in a controlled environment. | |
| You're touching your face, you're moving it around. | |
| I mean, if you go to the airport, half the people have the mask underneath their nose. | |
| There's no control for all this. | |
| And a lot of these are just cloth masks. | |
| A lot of these are like fashion masks. | |
| Very few are actually N95 masks, which are the ones that have seen some improvement in a controlled environment. | |
| Now, but here's the kicker. | |
| Steven Petty, one of the most experienced certified industrial hygienists in the country, put together this chart based on research on mask filtration. | |
| It demonstrated that if just 3.2% of the mask space is open, the efficacy of the mask goes down to zero. | |
| Now, translation, 3.2% of the mask being open, what does that really mean? | |
| So if you think about masks, there's these creases on the side of your face, up around your nose, maybe around your chin, that don't sit perfectly on your face. | |
| And what happens when you breathe out, the air and the oxygen and everything and the particulates that are in your breath tend to move to the area of least resistance. | |
| So you only need 3.2% of the overall surface area of the mask to be exposed for the efficacy of that mask to go down to zero. | |
| Now, I'm going to play some clips here for the streaming audience of somebody actually testing this. | |
| It's a woman smoking. | |
| This is with a medical mask and a regular cloth mask, smoking, and she's basically breathing out, and you see the smoke going all through these uncovered areas. | |
| Now, why is this relevant? | |
| Why is smoking relevant? | |
| I don't even know if this lady's a real smoker. | |
| You can go and play that clip. | |
| I think I could talk over it. | |
| But she's going to, she's, the size of the particulate in smoke, but the size of the particulates in smoke is roughly the same as the particulates in coronavirus. | |
| So these expose, you can play the next clip, 104. | |
| By smoking a cigarette is a really visual demonstration of how coronavirus is still escaping outside of a mask and how there's basically no protection that they suggest, right? | |
| So in very Detailed in a very detailed way. | |
| This is from Megan Mansell. | |
| She's a hazardous environs PPE expert. | |
| She said, This is what everyone gets wrong from day one, or perhaps what Fauci and others originally got right. | |
| The COVID conversation should have begun with minimum viable particulate size under pressure, which for COVID-sized particulates is 0.06 microns. | |
| 90% of exhaled particulates fall within the radically behaving particulate airborne particulate range. | |
| Okay, so the point is: the size of what you breathe out, the particulates, is small enough to escape through the pores in the mask, even really good masks, especially cloth masks, which are ridiculous. | |
|
Expert Insights on Particulates
00:06:36
|
|
| And Rand Paul said it very clearly. | |
| I want to play that clip one more time. | |
| Rand Paul, let's play 102 Ram Paul. | |
| So I'm broadcasting out of California, and in my county today, the mask mandate for indoors just went into effect again. | |
| Rand Paul just said 97% of particulates can get through your average cloth mask. | |
| Now, it sounds like even sort of other masks, you only have to, even N95 mask, if you only have 3.2% of surface area open, they are useless. | |
| And I said before, India, the Czech Republic, and we'll put these graphs on CharlieKirk.com for you. | |
| You will see that as soon as you have a mask mandate, these giant spikes in coronavirus. | |
| Why? | |
| Here's the big takeaway, guys. | |
| There's not much we can actually do about stopping the virus. | |
| It's highly transmissible. | |
| It goes and it sits in a place for about six to eight weeks. | |
| It goes through the population, moves on. | |
| And if there's another variant, it might come back. | |
| It may not. | |
| Folks, don't give in to the mask mandates. | |
| Do not comply. | |
| In other news, by the way, just so you know, that Joe Biden just said that over 350 million Americans have been vaccinated. | |
| 350 million. | |
| Apparently, that's more than the entire population of the United States. | |
| I actually tend to disagree with that. | |
| I think there's more than 350 because of all the illegals that we haven't counted. | |
| Nevertheless, clip 113. | |
| Why don't we just play it? | |
| So we have to get more people vaccinated. | |
| I said well over, what's the number again? | |
| I remind myself: 350 million Americans have already been vaccinated. | |
| They're doing fine. | |
| They're doing fine, folks. | |
| By the way, interesting aside, he's wearing a tan suit, which in 2014, for those of you who remember, Obama also wore a tan suit, and it was this big controversy. | |
| Apparently, you don't wear tan suits as present. | |
| Biden obviously, you know, didn't get the memo, or he got it and wants to just do one, but he got his tan suit tailored even better than Obama had his. | |
| I noticed Obama had cufflinks. | |
| I never do cufflinks anymore. | |
| It's very outdated. | |
| All right, so folks, we're talking about why masks don't work, okay? | |
| Here's why. | |
| Here's another example. | |
| I'm going to talk about, I mentioned India, Japan. | |
| They had 98% compliance. | |
| 98%. | |
| And listen to Forbes, high rate of mask wearing in Japan responsible for preventing the spread of COVID. | |
| That's from June 22nd. | |
| 96% mass compliance on November 1st. | |
| Then a massive spike. | |
| A massive spike in COVID. | |
| They quadrupled COVID in Japan, even though they had 96% mass compliance. | |
| It drops again because this is, again, seasonal. | |
| COVID is seasonal. | |
| I mentioned this earlier in the week when I was guest hosting. | |
| By the way, this is another point. | |
| In case you didn't hear it when I said it last time, there is a surge that's happening a little bit. | |
| I wouldn't call it a surge. | |
| It's an increase, right? | |
| They're going to call it a surge. | |
| I'm not going to call it a surge. | |
| And it's actually seasonal. | |
| I didn't get this at all. | |
| My friend Aaron Ginn, who's a great follower on Twitter, check him out. | |
| He mentioned this to me, and I was like, what are you talking about? | |
| It's August. | |
| It's warm out. | |
| Well, in the South, which is where a lot of the COVID is surging right now, in the South, there is so much heat that people are forced inside. | |
| And what do they do during the hot months? | |
| They over-air condition internal spaces. | |
| They tend to group in internal spaces. | |
| And so this actually, there was a spike. | |
| If you look at the COVID graphs from 2020, there was a slight spike late July and into August. | |
| And then it goes down in the fall and then back up in the winter. | |
| It's counterintuitive on some level, but it actually makes sense when you think about AC. | |
| If you've ever been in Arizona, which is where our studio is for the show, Charlie often broadcasts out of Arizona. | |
| You got to turn it up to like, you got to turn the AC down to like 61 just to fight the 115 degree heat outside. | |
| So people are over-air conditioned often in the American South, and that actually increases the rates of spikes. | |
| So, folks, let's just go over the details again. | |
| There are six very, very solid examples. | |
| And again, we're going to put this on CharlieKirk.com after the show, so you can go there. | |
| This is work from our friend Daniel Horowitz over at The Blaze. | |
| Six examples where masks were instituted, massive compliance. | |
| You still saw a spike. | |
| The particulate, 97% of the virus particulate is too small to be trapped by the masks. | |
| It only takes 3.2% surface area being open or exposed on your mask for the particulate to be, or for the masks to become 0% effective. | |
| 0%. | |
| So if you see any little cracks anywhere, if your nose is exposed, which is often the case, these masks are not effective. | |
| And meanwhile, we have governors, we have health officials, we have the president of the United States encouraging, in many cases, mandating the use of masks even for our children, the healthiest in our culture and in our society. | |
| It's not only ineffective, it's dehumanizing, which is something we haven't really talked about this hour. | |
| So we must push back. | |
| We must not comply. | |
| We must never be locked down again. | |
| We must not allow them to steal our civil liberties and our humanity from us off of illogical nonsense, off of lies, off of propaganda that makes it seem like they're doing something that is for the good of the culture at large. | |
| It's not. | |
| It's a lie, and it's robbing from us. | |
| It's robbing from you, and we can't stand for it. | |

| I know I got a lot out of researching it. | |
| There's a lot of troubling things going on in Washington, and the swamp is real. | |
| It's alive. | |
| It's active. | |
| We need to stop it. | |
| We need to step up. | |
| We need our voices to be loud and they need to be heard. | |
| We don't want any more of this crazy Washington spending. | |
