There was a huge story that broke last night.
And most of the activist press is very distracted on the fact that New York, the state of New York, has now officially changed the nature of the investigation of the Trump organization from a civil complaint to a criminal complaint.
We're going to get to that as the Trump organization continues to be politically investigated by the highest levels of power in our country on a state basis.
Meanwhile, Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton are allowed to do anything that they please, but the Trump organization continues to be a focus.
We're going to get into that because it's very important what's happening here, and I think that most people are missing it.
And by the way, the essence of the investigation is literally around tuition payments to a school.
Not drug trafficking, not sex trafficking, not bringing in firearms.
No, school payments.
We'll get into that.
But the story I really want to focus on right now, which is one that is immensely frustrating, is written by Jonathan Swan, who's a very honest reporter for Axios, axios.com, where it says that Joe Biden is going to waive sanctions on company in charge of Nord Stream 2.
Now, many of you may say, well, what's the big deal about that?
What is Nord Stream 2?
Nord Stream 2 is a pipeline.
Now, you might have remembered hearing about a pipeline that was supposed to connect Germany to Russia to supply them with cheap natural gas.
Now, Donald Trump spoke out against this.
And in fact, Donald Trump put sanctions on this pipeline, not allowing its construction, going against the will and the wishes of Angela Merkel, who basically runs the European Union.
The German economy is the wealthiest economy in Europe.
Germans have a knack for being precise operators with some very, very valuable companies, not just automotive companies, but pharmaceutical companies to textile companies.
The Germans have always been, at least in the last 40 or 50 years, the leader of industry in Europe, which, of course, until they left the European Union, the United Kingdom would be right behind it, then maybe France or Spain or Italy.
And so Germany wants cheap natural gas, cheap liquefied natural gas.
The problem is that this pipeline was going to come straight from the Russian Federation into Germany.
So Donald Trump, despite being accused of being a Russian agent, actually was incredibly harsh towards Russia, saying, no, we are not going to expand or play into or basically help the profits of the Russian Federation.
Now, despite all this, he was still investigated by the Mueller investigation.
He was still, to this day, believed to be a Russian agent and a Russian spy, despite no evidence whatsoever.
Donald Trump also did two separate airstrikes in Syria against the wishes of Vladimir Putin against the Kremlin-backed Bashar al-Assad.
Donald Trump also expelled diplomats from America and closed an embassy of Russia in the United States.
Donald Trump aided the Ukrainian government with sophisticated weaponry against the wishes of Vladimir Putin.
Donald Trump was anything but pro-Russian.
In fact, he was more hostile towards Russia than Barack Obama, and yes, even Joe Biden.
And so if what Jonathan Swan is reporting is true, here is the stance of the Biden administration, that we are going to destroy American pipelines like the Keystone XL pipeline, but approve and support Russian pipelines.
That's the news story of the day.
That should be the biggest story in the country.
The fact that Joe Biden and his State Department, according to Jonathan Swan's reporting at Axios, they are planning to lift sanctions to make Russia great again and destroy our own ability to extract and transport our liquefied natural gas, also known as LNG.
I'm going to read from the article here.
This planned move sets up a bizarre situation in which the Biden administration will be refusing to sanction the actual company in charge of the project.
Sources close to the situation say that top Biden officials have determined to say that the only way is to actually stop the project, which they actually don't want to do, is to sanction the German end users of the gas.
Huh.
And it says here that the State Department will imminently send its mandatory 90-day report to Congress listing entities involved in Nord Stream 2 that deserve sanctions.
And it says the Biden administration will waive sanctions on the corporate entity and the CEO overseeing the construction of Russia's Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
Angela Merkel needs liquefied natural gas.
Now, the obvious question that all of you are probably saying right now, especially those of you in beautiful West Texas, maybe Midland, Texas, maybe you are in Roswell, New Mexico, maybe are you in beautiful North Dakota, love my friends in North Dakota, or maybe you are in the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania or southwestern New York.
Why don't we use our own natural gas?
You see, Donald Trump's vision was to have America extract its own natural gas, and Germany, instead of getting it from Russia, could buy it from America, therefore fulfilling an America-first agenda.
America is the leader when it comes to oil and natural gas extraction on the planet.
We have private ownership of minerals.
Many of these other countries have the nationalization of their minerals.
We have greater technology, a greater work ethic, ability to transport it.
We are the leader when it comes to energy production on the planet.
And Joe Biden has made it his early stated goal to destroy oil and natural gas.
He said that in the debate.
Very few people believed him.
The media refused to cover it, but it's true.
Now, remember, Donald Trump said this.
He said that Germany will become dependent on Russian energy.
Angela Merkel is one of the worst leaders in the modern era.
I met a couple of Germans last summer and they just loved Angela Merkel.
They were conservatives.
Germans have this very strange loyalty to Angela Merkel.
I can't quite figure it out.
She's a disaster.
Cut 64.
Germany will become totally dependent on Russian energy if it does not immediately change course.
Here in the Western Hemisphere, we are committed to maintaining our independence from the encroachment.
I believe that speech was at a NATO summit.
It sounds like an official speech, not like something that was off the cuff.
It's a tactic as old as politics itself.
Accuse your opponent of conspiring to do something controversial while planning to do the whole time yourself.
As Democrats have said that Donald Trump was owned by Russia, while Mitch McConnell was owned by Russia, in reality, they are the ones that are now pandering to the Russian Federation.
And so we now have an activist press that is not covering this in the slightest.
This is the number one news story in the country.
What should be a call to action to revive America's ability to extract and transport our own God-given minerals, fracking and natural gas, which, by the way, is more environmentally friendly than people realize.
Natural gas is abundant, it's clean, it's easy to transport, it is light.
And what does Joe Biden do?
He destroys the Keystone XL pipeline and he is considering removing leases for new fracking and discontinuing leasing for fracking on federal lands.
So in Joe Biden's perspective, no Keystone XL pipeline, American jobs, no.
Yes to Nord Stream 2.
Joe Biden is putting Russia first.

Joe Biden is now doing the bidding of Vladimir Putin.
It's almost as if everything that they accuse Donald Trump of, they've been doing themselves.
So, what could the motive possibly be behind this?
Why would Joe Biden all of a sudden want to lift sanctions, according to Jonathan Swan's report on Axios, who's a very trusted reporter, on this very simple deal where you have a pipeline coming from Russia straight into Germany?
Donald Trump called this Cut 65.
Donald Trump in 2018 said it's sad that we're protecting all these countries and that we're going to go make a pipeline deal with Russia, not a deal with American liquid natural gas.
So here's the thing: we're going to play Cut 65 in a second.
But Germany needs liquefied natural gas.
Their big investment in solar and wind has failed.
It just so happens that it gets very dark and cloudy in Berlin.
And all those new refugees that Angela Merkel has brought in, they need energy too, cheap energy.
So Angela Merkel, who is one of the worst leaders in the modern era, who's a globalist-running Germany, has basically said, you know what?
I need liquefied natural gas.
I'll get it from Vladimir Putin, a sworn enemy of the West.
Cut 65.
Well, I have to say, I think it's very sad when Germany makes a massive oil and gas deal with Russia.
where you're supposed to be guarding against Russia and Germany goes out and pays billions and billions of dollars a year to Russia.
So we're protecting Germany, we're protecting France, we're protecting all of these countries.
And then numerous of the countries go out and make a pipeline deal with Russia where they're paying billions of dollars into the coffers of Russia.
Under Donald Trump, we were an energy net exporter with low gas prices and abundant natural gas.
It took five months to now get gas shortages and we now import.
We have more than we know what to do with here in this country.
Joe Biden and his administration have decided that you do not matter.
And instead, what matters is this abstract green energy goal that is pathologically and ideologically driven.
So what is driving this entire thing?
Why pander to the weak and probably corrupt Angela Merkel?
Well, first of all, Angela Merkel is a darling of the globalist class.
She always has been.
She kept the EU alive during the currency collapse, you might remember eight or nine years ago, where German guilt drove Angela Merkel and the entire German government to bail out Greece and Portugal.
And so Angela Merkel needs energy, but Angela Merkel also knows that the Americans, now under their government, they're not going to give it to her.
So she wants to pander to this vision of a utopian world without fossil fuels.
So her way of getting there is we might as well get Nord Stream done, which will be a cash handout to the Russian government.
And that cash handout will then result in her nation having cheaper liquefied natural gas, which is always amazing to me.
The environmentalists can never explain where this natural gas is going to come from.
It's either coming from our planet or not.
Instead, they act as if it's a completely different ecosystem that it's going to be coming from.
So why is this happening?
Well, I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that Hunter Biden, according to a Senate report, received a $3.5 million payment from an ex-Moscow mayor's wife.
Remember that?
That Hunter Biden was paid cash of $3.5 million from a wealthy wife of a Moscow former mayor.
Donald Trump never received such any payments from anyone Russian-related, but it seems that according to this 87-page document published by the United States Senate, it says, quote, Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Butorina, the wife of the former mayor of Moscow.
Is Joe Biden now making good on a promise that he was going to pander to the wants and interests of the Russian Federation?
What does Vladimir Putin possibly have on Joe Biden?
Now, these are fair questions because we had to go through this for years on a fake dossier that has now been exposed by every major media outlet that destroyed our - that divided our country, I should say, unnecessarily and gave smear merchants on cable television unlimited amount of unfounded fodder to investigate Donald Trump, indict and imprison his allies.

The New York Police Department says in the 28-day period from March 8th to April 4th, there's been a 95% jump in shootings compared to the same period last year.
Homicides have gone up 60%.
Rapes have doubled in New York City.
And New York City killings rose almost 40%.
And shootings have nearly doubled from their previous year.
Historically, crime is still far below the levels of the early 1990s when Rudy Giuliani fixed the city.
With a 97% jump in shootings last year and a 45% increase in murders, criminal carnage that has not been seen for 14 years.
In Brooklyn's Brownsville and Bedford-Suyvesant neighborhoods, Bedsty, there is a 170% increase in more shooting.
And there's a 151% increase in more shooting incidents.
And murder is up 94% in these parts of Brooklyn.
But according to Alexander Ecasio-Cortez, abolishing the police is the solution.
The 2020 increase is actually worse than the annual numbers because of the momentary drop during the virus.
It continued into this year, and shootings citywide were up 20% through February 14th, 2021, compared with the first six weeks of 2020.
As of May 2nd, 132 people have been killed in New York City, compared to only 113 this time last year, a 17% increase.
And there have been 416 shooting incidents compared with 227 this time last year, an 83% increase.
New York City and the state of New York are seeing an increase in crime, the likes of which we have not seen in 20 years.
The intentional unfolding of New York City is occurring.
I have a friend who has a son who's 11 years old in the Tribeca neighborhood.
He was walking home from school in broad daylight and was mugged by three criminals at knife point for his cell phone.
The cops barely followed up.
I have another friend who lives in the Wall Street area who said there are muggings every single night in the Wall Street area, and he does not feel safe going out at night anymore.
And those of you that know New York know that you used to be able to walk all throughout New York at any time and feel safe.
But New York is now turning into a criminal paradise.
So, with all of that background and New York unfolding in front of our eyes almost intentionally, chaos is the new norm.
What is the state of New York and their law enforcement arm doing about this?
What is the state of New York doing to try and address the rise in crime?
What is the Manhattan Attorney General doing to try to make the streets safe, to actually care about black lives?
What is the Manhattan Attorney General doing to try to make New York at least not some replica of a third world country?
Well, the answer is New York has dedicated millions of dollars and hundreds of people's time to continually investigating in search of a crime, by the way.
So, you have an investigation with no premise in search of a crime of the Trump organization.
Late last night, the Attorney General of New York, Laticia James, came out and said that they are now changing their civil investigation into a criminal investigation into Donald Trump.
As we have predicted many times on this program, they will not rest until Donald Trump is in prison.
They will not rest until there's any sort of counter move from conservatives where they think there is a cost to actually using the apparatus of an attorney general's office or the criminal justice system to go after political opponents that they don't like.
Cut 49, MSNBC reporting on this.
They were gleeful because finally their ratings are going to go up because they get to now focus on Donald Trump again.

Breaking overnight, former President Trump's business empire is now under criminal investigation by the state of New York.
Attorney General Letitia James's office said last night it is actively investigating the Trump organization in a criminal capacity.
The AG's office is looking at whether the company, based in New York City, lied about its property values to get loans and other benefits.
That's on top of a separate investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney focused on whether the organization engaged in falsifying records, tax fraud, and insurance fraud.
Sounds bad, right?
Well, you look into actually what they're investigating.
You now have the Manhattan Attorney General and the Attorney General for the state of New York joining together in a criminal investigation of the Trump organization.
Sounds really bad.
But then you look into what they're investigating.
It's actually laughable that while crime and rape and murders are up nearly doubling, rapes have doubled in New York City.
And what is the Manhattan District Attorney and the New York Attorney General, what are they focusing on?
Whether or not when Donald Trump gave benefits to his CFO, his chief financial officer, such as paying for his grandkids' tuition at a school, whether or not that was tax fraud.
That's literally what they're investigating.
They're also investigating a property by the name, I believe, called Sandy Springs of whether or not Donald Trump inflated the value of the real estate for a tax benefit.
If that is going to be the new normal, every single real estate developer in New York City would go to prison.
Real estate, by definition, is one of the hardest things to find value.
The value is who's going to pay for it.
Maybe you really want the house.
Maybe the market is hot and the market is down.
Of course, there's a value question and a valuation question.
They're not investigating Donald Trump for working with a foreign government.
They're not investigating Donald Trump for getting a $3.5 million wire from the mayor of Moscow's wife.
They're not investigating Donald Trump for flying on Air Force 2 with his father and then getting a billion dollars from the Chinese, our greatest enemy.
No, they're investigating Donald Trump of whether or not he gave benefits to his CFO that shouldn't have been taxed.
This is a tax issue.
They say it's tax fraud.
It's very serious.
Now, whether or not Donald Trump did something incorrect is actually not the point.
I don't think he did.
I don't know the facts of the situation.
But just looking at it, it's just so incredible.
You now have a monster of a criminal investigation with no suspected crime.
They're looking through every single person's financial records.
They will find something, especially if you're a multi-billionaire that's been in business for 40 years in the city of New York.
And find something they will, and indict they will.
So why are they doing this?
Well, they want revenge against Donald Trump for interrupting their revolution.
They want to make sure he's going to pay, and they make a public spectacle and example out of him for even daring to run for president in the first place and being an effective president, putting in judges, changing geopolitics, and making their takeover of the country that much harder.
But this actually leads to a much more fundamental question that's very important.
Do you actually think that the Democrats and the left will ever actually release their focus on the threat of the conservative movement?
Do you think they're actually ever going to move on from this?
Of course not.
In almost every single totalitarian country, they need a foil.
In the Soviet Union, it was the Kulaks, or it was the capitalists.
In China, right now, it is the Americans and the Westerners.
In order to justify power, you need an enemy.
Otherwise, then people say, well, why do you keep on having power?
No, you need, as what Orwell would write in 1984, the two minutes hate, where in 1984, Orwell wrote that it was mandatory for every citizen for two minutes a day to stare at the screen and get worked up about who they're supposed to hate.
Sounds like CNN, doesn't it?
That he knew that in order for totalitarian governments to continue to exist, that the anger and the fury must be fed every single day.
They need the persecution of the opposing party.
And they want to metaphorically scalp the biggest name in the world, Donald Trump, and they want to take credit for it.
For paying tuition for his CFO, for his grandkids.
Now, let me ask you a question.
What do you think is a bigger threat to the people of New York?
A doubling in rapes?
Homicides up 60%?
A 95% jump in shootings?
And killings up 40%?
Or the question of whether Donald Trump paid for his CFO grandkids' tuition for a very expensive school on the Upper East Side and might not have paid taxes on that?
By the way, most of those matters would be settled by a letter from the IRS: hey, pay the tax.
Not a monstrous multi-million dollar state of New York and Manhattan District Attorney joint investigation to crush someone who, by the way, has paid so much respect and taxes to the city of New York and a former president.
And this goes to a very sad but real, but just honest realization of our country.
We are no longer a nation of laws.
We're a nation of political will.
The reason this is happening is because there is an audience for this.
There is a demand for this.
Do you notice that they're mentioned in this investigation?
There's very little outrage from anyone.
Oh, yeah, it's fine.
I guess you did something wrong.
Alexander Hamilton predicted this.
Alexander Hamilton never became president.
He was actually shot by Aaron Burr.
He was the first Secretary of the Treasury, famously wrote the Federalist Papers alongside James Madison.
It was a very strict on immigration, too.
He's been glamorized by Broadway, and many of you have probably seen the play, but very few people know about Alexander Hamilton and actually what he believed.
But Alexander Hamilton predicted this: that the courts and the justice system would always conform to the will of the majority.
That it would not be an impartial system of laws.
Instead, it would be a nation of political will.
This was his great fear.

Let's go to cut 50, Representative Madeline Dean on the New York Attorney General Criminal Investigation, the Trump Organization, Cut 50.
It's not surprising to me.
I think the walls are finally closing in on the truth about the Trump organization and what has happened.
You saw that we in Congress tried to exercise our oversight responsibility into Trump finances, tax returns, appraisals of properties, and those kinds of things.
And the Trump administration thwarted us at every turn.
We're going to see now through the use of the DA and the Attorney General in New York.
We are now going to see through the use of the DA and the Attorney General one of the greatest political persecutions we have seen using the criminal system, the criminal justice system in our country's history.
So why are they doing this?
It's the same reason why Bashar al-Assad and Vladimir Putin and Mao and Benita Mussolini and any sort of autocrat that wants to hang on to power will never admit to the people that the threat is gone.
They never give that speech.
Do you notice that the autocrats, the collectivists, they never give permission for the people to release their hold on the threat of the other?
Of course not.
That would instead justify some form of a period of peace.
And once you have peace, then autocracy and monarchy and oligarchy and the ability to be in control, you lose your mandate to govern.
Now, the Democrats realize that the thing that is keeping their party together, the only thing that's keeping their party together, is the two minutes hate.
Is the unifying perspective that in every person in the Democrat Party that you might disagree on socialism or you might disagree on how many foreigners they should bring into America, but instead keep giving us power because we will go eliminate the scourge of Donald Trump and his followers and his allies.
Do you think they'll ever actually stop?
Will they release their focus on this threat?
And why are they so threatened by a man that is now golfing at Mar-a-Lago?
That's a deeper question.
I addressed that yesterday in the villages.
I spoke in the villages, Florida, and it's one that I'm going to actually explore in the next couple of weeks.
I'm going to talk about with a familiar name and face that you guys all know, which I believe the 1990s put forward some very destructive policies, such as we never should have gotten away from making stuff in our country.
The fact that we deindustrialized our economy and that we sent manufacturing overseas was one of the great errors of public policy in American history.
And Donald Trump called that out.
And the people that stood to benefit from that, they don't just want to indict Donald Trump.
They want to indict his ideas.
Let me say that again.
They do not just want to indict Donald Trump.
They want to indict the fact that Donald Trump dared to challenge internationalist trade that only benefited the Chinese Communist Party.
They want to indict the fact that Donald Trump said, wait a second, why don't we just try to have a conversation and qualify who is coming into our country and for what reason?
They want to indict, and they want to make a public example of Donald Trump daring to challenge the fact that we were having adventurous wars overseas.
Donald Trump was actually building a political movement that, despite what they said they hated about him, his tone and his tweets, and you might disagree with how he handled himself on all that.
That's fine.
What they really feared was a robust, long-term pro-American political movement that could unite the Bernie Sanders people and the plumbers and the welders, Hispanics and the blacks and the working class whites and the Christians and the Jews and all sorts of different walks of backgrounds of languages and religious and religion that just wanted a strong country that had some very simple beliefs.
That we want to make more stuff here.
We want to control who comes into our country.
That we should always put the interests of our own citizens first.
And that sending hundreds of billions of dollars to Afghanistan every single year was not in the best interest of the working class.
That's what they want to indict.
They want to put in prison the ideas of American restoration and greatness, and you must never forget that.
It's not about the person.
It's about the movement.
