| Now available on Apple Podcasts, Podcast One, Spotify, and anywhere else you get your podcasts. | |
| Hey, everybody. | |
| Today on the Charlie Kirk Show, we have good news to share. | |
| Positivity, optimism. | |
| What you focus on is what you hit. | |
| Where you aim is where you go. | |
| It's time for us to talk about the good news. | |
| Yes, we've talked about how the left is making record progress to fundamentally destroy our country. | |
| But I have some very unique and important good news to share with you. | |
| Let not your hearts be troubled, my friends. | |
| We are going to win. | |
| And the bad guys are going to lose. | |
| Email me your questions. | |

| It's a signed copy of the MAGA Doctrine. | |
| Buckle up, everybody. | |
| Here we go. | |
| Charlie, what you've done is incredible here. | |
| Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses. | |
| I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk. | |
| Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks. | |
| I want to thank Charlie. | |
| He's an incredible guy. | |
| His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created. | |
| Turning point USA. | |
| We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country. | |
| That's why we are here. | |
| I want to share some good news with you today. | |
| That's right. | |
| Good news. | |
| America's burning. | |
| Seattle's been taken over by terrorists. | |
| They're trying to take down the statue of Abraham Lincoln in Boston, Massachusetts. | |
| But I have some good news to share. | |
| So I was watching some of these rioters and demonstrations and some of all these young activists take to the streets. | |
| I was rewatching some of the footage today and yesterday, and I noticed there was a glaring piece of paraphernalia missing from their Burn the World starter kit. | |
| They had the mask. | |
| Many of them had their tattoos hidden. | |
| Others had their cardboard protest signs conveniently made with the right wordage. | |
| Everything that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez instructed them to do on her Instagram page, they basically followed it to a T. | |
| But amongst all these endless swarms of miserable marchers, I see lots of reason for generational concern. | |
| But more presciently, I actually see a sign of hope. | |
| I'm sure you're saying, Charlie, are you okay? | |
| Did I accidentally listen to the 1619 project? | |
| Am I listening to the podcast, which, by the way, helped us beat it by subscribing, typing in Charlie Kirkstring subscribed and hit five stars? | |
| Are you okay? | |
| Am I listening to some sort of Black Lives Matter podcast? | |
| You see hope? | |
| How can arsonist thugs harmonizing with clueless suburbanites give you promise and hope? | |
| What about these massive swaths of angry activists can give you promise for the future? | |
| It's not what I see, but what I don't see. | |
| In every election year, the repeated anger cycle and apology tour begins in our urban cities. | |
| Elections have consequences, Barack Obama told us. | |
| And the left doesn't want the consequences of elections to be them without power. | |
| From the outward appearance, it would seem that the left is more unified than ever. | |
| If you just mention the name Trump, the entire crowd reflexively turns into a flock of agitators and almost like a frenetic cyclone of squealing. | |
| Despite the agreed-upon shrieking of suburban social justice crusaders, those of us who actually love America are witnessing the lack of something that should motivate and compel you to hope-filled action. | |
| I've watched hours of this footage of all these types of demonstrations. | |
| At Turning Point USA, we have grassroots journalists on the streets. | |
| At Turning Point USA, we are actually live from Chaz. | |
| You guys can listen to our previous episode from an in-depth report straight from the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone. | |
| We have exclusive reports. | |
| We have been recording the movements of these swarms of social justice warriors. | |
| Now, the signage and the messaging that we keep on seeing is very predictable: Black Lives Matter, abolish the police, defund the police. | |
| I can't breathe. | |
| Say his name. | |
| Revolution is coming. | |
| It always happens during an election year that you see these massive protests stirred up by the media. | |
| So I asked our team at the Charlie Kirk show to dive deep, go through all the footage that was collected through all of our friends and all the different assets that we have. | |
| And I asked them to find just one person. | |
| Yes, one person with a Biden sign for president, a shirt, a hat, anything. | |
| Now, of course, I'm sure someone somewhere in all these protests had a Joe Biden love segregation shirt or whatever he stood for in the 1970s or 80s, or a Joe Biden for a president because he doesn't think you're black shirt. | |
| Or if you think Black Lives Matter only if you're a Democrat, whatever shirt that Joe Biden might profess, I'm sure some human being was wearing that. | |
| But the main point is this: where are the grassroots-made signs for Joe Biden? | |
| Why isn't all this rage translating into Biden advocacy? | |
| This is their moment, right? | |
| This is their window to burn it all down, and Biden can be their Roba Spear. | |
| I think these radicals have no appetite or interest in Beijing Biden. | |
| In fact, they actually disdain him. | |
| You see, you can have unlimited amounts of Simone Sanders or Alyssa Milanos and other clueless, foolish, paid sycophants who will continue to try to force-feed Biden to the resentful hordes. | |
| But they don't want it. | |
| Now, remember the lockdown protesters. | |
| Remember the protesters in California and in Michigan? | |
| See, those protests, everyone was wearing Trump hats. | |
| There was a direct connection to their spirit of rebellion against the lockdowns and a connection to Donald Trump. | |
| That sort of grassroots revolution was directly correlated with an election year call to action. | |
| Grassroots repudiations and physically assembled demonstrations, they're kind of like fireworks. | |
| You see, they start from the ground, they grow to an apex, they explode with a bang, they scatter, and then they disappear to just a memory. | |
| The energy from these revolts can have real political implications. | |
| Remember, the Tea Party movement was a throbbing middle finger, a full-forced rejection of Barack Obama and his sanctimonious, self-righteous administration. | |
| These moments rarely turn into full-fledged movements. | |
| In fact, they almost are guaranteed to metamorphosize into fractured, hyper-micro-fringe groups. | |
| However, right now in an election year, with every protester saying they hate Trump, that should be translating into advocacy for Joe Biden. | |
| Have you seen anyone convert a broken side of a cardboard box into a vote Biden sign? | |
| You cannot find in hundreds of hours of footage any type of organic or genuine excitement for Joe Biden. | |
| This is a dreadful sign for Joe Biden. | |
| He needs younger voters. | |
| He doesn't just need them. | |
| He desperately requires them to be vengeful, motivated, and activated towards electing Biden as the primary vehicle for social change. | |
| You see, the Biden campaign is incorrectly and confidently wagering that these flocks of bitter, newly motivated deconstructionists will automatically and enthusiastically translate their rage into votes and activism for Joe Biden. | |
| The Biden campaign is really misled here. | |
| And seemingly, they're far too relaxed when it comes to their organizing and mobilizing of an animated Democrat base. | |
| As we have discussed before on the show, the Democrat Party's path to victory requires the effective mobilization of resentments and people who think they are oppressed and aggrieved. | |
| This should give you hope for two major reasons. | |
| One, Biden statistically needs energized turnout. | |
| In order for Biden to replicate the 2012 numbers that Barack Obama achieved while Joe Biden was running as his vice president, he would need to win the youth vote nationally 67% to 30%. | |
| Now, Donald Trump did even better than Mitt Romney did in the youth vote in 2012. | |
| In some states, he actually even won the youth vote. | |
| Obama won at least 61% of the youth vote in the battleground states. | |
| Even if Romney was able to get to 50-50 with younger voters in the key states, he would have won the White House. | |
| Now, Mitt Romney's a Black Lives Matter activist, so it's a good thing he probably didn't become president. | |
| I'm not saying Obama was the better alternative. | |
| I'm just saying what's the difference between the two. | |
| It's important to recognize and realize that Biden, in order to beat Donald Trump, he needs energized turnout. | |
| But here's the second part of good news. | |
| And if you're like me, you want some good news right now. | |
| This is foreshadowing of an impending and currently postponed Democrat Civil War. | |
| There's a Democrat Civil War that we've talked about for some time. | |
| And it was suppressed and it was postponed due to the agreeable hatred of Donald Trump. | |
| Bernie Sanders was winning that Civil War. | |
| Bernie Sanders was marching his forces close to the Democrat Convention. | |
| In fact, many of us thought Bernie Sanders was going to be the nominee. | |
| In fact, we were gearing up to run up against Bolshevik Bernie Sanders. | |
| But then Joe Biden, despite not knowing what state he's in, being able to distinguish his wife from his sister, calling people lying-faced pony dog soldiers or whatever Joe Biden says, probably got that incorrect, but he probably did too. | |
| It's really important to recognize that the Civil War of Elon Omar, Alexandria Casio-Cortez, Ayana Presley, and all the insurgents within the Democrat Party, that's not going to go away. | |
| In fact, the lack of grassroots activism for Biden in the streets spells imminent civil war. | |
| Now, if we as Republicans could hold the line like we did against Kavanaugh and make this abolish police, racist narrative that the Democrats are pushing as our Kavanaugh moment where we stood for truth, we didn't give the left an inch. | |
| We said we are going to confirm Justice Kavanaugh despite the lies. | |
| Lindsey Graham came out of hiding and the entire establishment started to stand for truth. | |
| Susan Collins even stood for truth. | |
| If we made this moment our Kavanaugh moment, we would win. | |
| We'd win the argument. | |
| We'd win culturally. | |
| Instead, we're allowing the left to push us back endlessly. | |
| Now, if we are able to regather, regroup, play off, and stand for truth like we did against Kavanaugh, the left will devour themselves. | |
| When you have a mob that is not based in ultimate truth, that's not based in any form of organized thinking or reason, they will eventually devour themselves. | |
| They will eventually tear themselves apart. | |
| The only source of energy that the swarm has, that these hordes of resentment have, is their focus on conservatives. | |
| If conservatives force them backwards, if conservatives draw the line and say no more and we become unified, and I believe that's going to happen soon as soon as President Trump's able to return to his rallies and he can set the narrative and give people confidence and give them clarity on exactly the direction that our country and our movement is headed, the Democrats will be forced to engage in a friendly fire. | |
| They'll be forced to go into a circular firing squad. | |
| It's inevitable when you form a group that is around rage, anger, and resentment. | |
| There's no controlling that. | |
| There's no clear thinking there. | |
| There is a civil war happening in the Democrat Party. | |
| It's just quieter and it's postponed. | |
| There's been a stalemate. | |
| They want that civil war to happen when they have eliminated the Republican Party for good. | |
| They want that civil war to happen when there is no conservative movement. | |
| They want that civil war to happen when they have a California-style monopoly where basically the entire election is the primary, which is how it works in California. | |
| Some of these districts are so far to the left, so long gone. | |
| There is no general election. | |
| It's basically the primary. | |
| This is good news. | |
| It's also a call to action. | |
| Now is the time to organize, hold the line like we did for Kavanaugh, because the lack of enthusiasm, the lack of signage, the lack of vim and vigor for Joe Biden should give all of us incredible confidence that they have an enthusiasm problem, that they have a turnout problem. | |
| And whether it will translate into Joe Biden's support or not remains to be seen. | |
| But he is antithetical to everything that these activists are expressing and fighting for. | |
|

| So, if you're like me, you want some good news. | |
| And that was some good news that I shared: that Joe Biden is not trending nicely with the base of the Democrat Party, which is a great sign for Donald Trump. | |
| But here's some more good news: retail sales jumped higher in May as consumers returned to stores as coronavirus lockdowns were lifted across the United States. | |
| Retail sales surged 17.7% compared with the prior month, according to Commerce Department data released Tuesday, easily beating expectations for an 8% gain. | |
| Every single expectation they set ends up being wrong. | |
| Everything. | |
| It's like the experts are professionally incorrect. | |
| The numbers indicate a high degree of pent-up demand. | |
| This is a great leading indicator for the economy, everyone. | |
| Clothing and accessory stores, many of which were closed in March and April, reported the biggest percentage gain at 188%. | |
| Furniture store sales rose about 89.7%. | |
| And in May, unemployment fell as 2.5 million Americans went back to work, making the largest ever one-month increase in employment in United States history. | |
| This is what President Trump has been fighting for the entire time. | |
| He knew that reopening America would be good for the country and good for the economy. | |
| One of the reasons why the stock market has increased is we finally have trial results that were announced Tuesday that show dexametathasone, a widely available and cheap drug, can help critically ill Chinese coronavirus patients. | |
| The treatment reportedly reduced COVID-19 deaths in hospitalized patients by up to one-third. | |
| This is from the BBC. | |
| This drug is part of the world's biggest trial testing existing treatments to see if they also work for coronavirus. | |
| Had the drug been used to treat patients in the United Kingdom from the start of the pandemic, up to 5,000 lives could have been said, research shows. | |
| And this is one of the reasons why the market is soaring. | |
| When we think of the economy, we have to keep in mind of the global economy. | |
| The fact that this is a drug that can be widely available all across the world with less infrastructure is potentially a boon to the whole global economy, which will help America's economy, of course, as well. | |
| Apple is planning to open 10 stores in New York City and 200 of its 271 stores nationwide. | |
| It's the first time stores in New York City will be open since March when the company shuttered its locations amid the pandemic and a sign that business is picking up in the city. | |
| But by the end of the week, more than 200 of the company's 271 retail stores will be open. | |
| Apple requires customers to wear face masks inside their stores and it will provide masks to customers who do not have one. | |
| Whatever you think of Apple, and by the way, please subscribe to our podcast on Apple. | |
| This is very good news for the economy. | |
| Sports are also coming back. | |
| The NBA will return in late July with a 22-team format. | |

| Each team will play eight regular season games to determine seating before they move into playoffs. | |

| Now, the Washington Post has reported the games will be played at the ESPN wide world of sports complex at Disney World without any fans in attendance, which is too bad. | |
| No one will be able to watch LeBron James choke miserably live in person. | |
| Maybe he actually might play better with no people around him or worse. | |
| We'll see. | |
| The National Football League's season is still scheduled to begin on September 10th with no word yet on whether fans will be able to attend games and they should be able to attend games. | |
| Players are currently training remotely with the team's training camp set to open in July. | |
| That said, it's still highly unlikely that I'll be tuning in to watch any form of NFL action. | |
| I just, I'm not going to support an anti-American enterprise. | |
| I don't care if I love the sport. | |
| I will not support something that engages in blatant, anti-Western, anti-American activism. | |
| And by the way, if we can protest in Brooklyn and Los Angeles with hundreds of thousands of people, we should be able to watch sports in person. | |
| I won't be watching the NBA. | |
| I won't be watching the NFL because if they take a knee and if they protest our flag, I'm done. | |
| I don't care how entertaining that is. | |
| I'll go watch YouTube views of lectures on stoic philosophy, even though I like sports a lot. | |
| Not only that, but Roger Goodell just announced that he would welcome teams to hire the failed quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who's a social justice anti-American activist and is actually encouraging it. | |
| Thankfully, NCAA football is also on its way back into action. | |
| According to Sports 24-7 reporting, the NCAA cleared the path in a May 20th vote for its football programs along with men's and women's basketball to begin on-campus voluntary workouts as early as June 1. | |
| The SEC just moved to allow its schools to return to workouts on June 8th, becoming the first conference to do so. | |
| And my Ducks of Oregon have been back on the practice field effective June 15th. | |
| UFC has already had two full flight cards, and we are very successful on pay-per-view. | |
| And U.S. Open, China has just announced it will hold the tournament in New York City later this year. | |
| And in news that no one should care about, this is basically an anti-American garbage troop that they just march around and tell us to feel sorry for them all the time, is the National Women's Soccer League is set to actually be the first U.S. sports team to return. | |
| I won't be watching, and good luck kneeling. | |
| Expect plenty of players to be kneeling for America and hate to fill the stadium. | |
| I will be nowhere near that. | |
| I will be learning about why our country is great and how to save it. | |
| I will be watching college football unless they start kneeling and they start engaging in this nonsense. | |
| If they do, I hope they pull scholarships. | |
| I won't support it. | |
| I just won't. | |
| Any sport that gets engaged and get involved, you have a right to do that. | |
| People have emailed me. | |
| Well, Charlie, don't they have a right to do it? | |
| Of course you have a right to be foolish. | |
| I mean, you have a right to do really, really dumb things. | |
| I also have a right not to watch. | |
| I have a right to watch something else, and I have a right not to agree with it, and I have a right not to support it with my dollars or my views or anything. | |
| And so did Drew Brees, by the way. | |
| Drew Brees could have made a heroic stand for our country. | |
| And while we have veterans that storm the beach, unafraid of machine gun fire coming after them, you have Drew Brees that, yes, helped people in the inner cities of New Orleans. | |
| Yes, helped people through many times of suffering, but he's a coward. | |
| Now, he's a nice coward. | |
| He's a kind coward. | |
| He's a generous coward. | |
| He's a benevolent coward, but Drew Brees is no backbone. | |
| He has no spine. | |
| He stands against the mob. | |
| He's in his like sixth variation of his apology. | |
| He's going to keep on getting paid tens of millions of dollars. | |
| I hope it's worth it. | |
| I hope that bag of money that he's getting from the New Orleans Saints is worth him standing with no conviction, no clarity of thought, and not standing up against the anti-American mob. | |
| You know, if our country really comes to an apex point, Drew Brees could have been one of the reasons that could have prevented it. | |
| He has so much credibility. | |
| There's nothing wrong with what he said. | |
| Instead, he was bullied, and he's a coward, and I hope that no one ever follows his lead. | |
| I hope you guys follow his lead in charitable giving. | |
| I mean, he's very generous. | |
| He seems like a kind person. | |
| I'm not calling him a jerk. | |
| I'm not saying that he's a bad person. | |
| I'm instead calling him a coward. | |
| It's two completely different things. | |
| We need sports back. | |
| We need it more than ever. | |
| I have some more good news. | |
| I'm going to dispel some bad news. | |
|

| So Charlie, you might say, but with all the recent polling that's going in the wrong direction, how can you focus on good news? | |
| Well, first of all, we just need good news, okay? | |
| I really believe in the power of positive thinking. | |
| I believe if you focus too much on the negative and not the positive, you can just get yourself in an endless trap of negativity. | |
| And for those of you out there, I challenge you to be the best person you possibly can as a Christian. | |
| It informs me to tell you about the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, that makes you reborn, a total surrendering to Jesus Christ. | |
| And the gospel is the most important message for you. | |
| And Philippians 4.8, which I love, and I talked about this at my church service that I spoke at with Pastor Rob McCoy. | |
| And actually, we're going to be airing that as a podcast. | |
| And it's a great verse. | |
| And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. | |
| Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think on these things. | |
| And that's also a great thing to talk about to these Christian pastors that don't want to engage in the culture, that don't want to engage in the pursuit of truth. | |
| It says, whatever is true, it's not saying that there's a greater truth than Jesus. | |
| We know that the greatest truth is Jesus. | |
| Jesus is the embodiment of truth, which makes him so different than any other religion. | |
| But also, physics are true, math is true, statistics are true. | |
| And you also must fight against what is untrue. | |
| And these Christian pastors that think that they can stay out of the discussion of what is true and not true, they are basically disobeying the writings of the Apostle Paul. | |
| So look, let's talk about things that are true. | |
| The polls were wrong in 2016. | |
| They are designed to defeat our spirit, to keep us inside and feel like all is lost. | |
| We defied them once and we'll do it again. | |
| Plus, they oversample Democrats. | |
| This is true of the recent polling done by CNN. | |
| These are called suppression polls. | |
| They've been named for a reason because they're a common tactic. | |
| They try to use them to keep people from showing up. | |
| It's only June. | |
| The election is in November. | |
| That's an eternity. | |
| The president is still strong with his base. | |
| He has an enthusiasm advantage, which I articulated previously. | |
| The rallies are coming back and no one can match this. | |
| The economy is rebounding. | |
| And my goodness, I pray that Durham might actually bring some convictions. | |
| I encourage you to listen to our upcoming episode with Devin Nunez, which right now type in Charlie Kirk Show, hit subscribe to your podcast provider, leave us a five-star review. | |
| That way you'll know every time we drop a new episode. | |
| And we have Devin Nunez coming up later this week. | |
| Here's some more good news: We've beat the Democrats at the culture war once, and we can do it again. | |
| Again, I said this earlier: we need to make this our Kavanaugh moment. | |
| Lockdowns and abolish the police need to be our Kavanaugh. | |
| I tweeted this. | |
| Republicans in Congress are asking me how we should fight. | |
| Very easy answer: do what you did with Kavanaugh. | |
| Stand for truth. | |
| Hold the line. | |
| Get angry. | |
| Don't tolerate their deceitful tactics. | |
| Call them out. | |
| That is how you win, and the left loses. | |
| You did it once, now do it again. | |
| End quote. | |
| I have senators calling me. | |
| I have congressmen calling me. | |
| I have people in the executive branch calling me. | |
| They say, Charlie, you seem to be fighting right now. | |
| How do you suppose we fight? | |
| I say, You've done it before. | |
| You did it with Kavanaugh. | |
| You united the party, united the conservative movement. | |
| And public opinion actually grew in the favor of the pro-Kavanaugh advocacy. | |
| Why? | |
| Because the left will show their true colors. | |
| They started bringing in these insane people that were just making up stuff about Brett Kavanaugh. | |
| When the right is united, America flourishes. | |
| When the right is united, the Republic is protected. | |
| When we are divided and we are weak and we run to the hills, and people say, Well, we need something to unite against. | |
| Okay, how about this? | |
| Chaz. | |
| Make Chaz your Kavanaugh moment. | |
| Make the abolished police your Kavanaugh moment. | |
| Unfortunately, the conservative movement is an awful offensive movement. | |
| We're better defensive when they try to take something from us, try to take our guns, try to take our religious liberty, try to take Brett Kavanaugh. | |
| But now they're trying to take our country. | |
| And so this should be a very successful political moment for us. | |
| And we have an X factor that they do not have. | |
| We have President Trump. | |
| His instincts are second to none. | |
| He understands the American people better than the consulting class, the pundits on television, and all the prognosticators telling you that he's going to lose in November. | |
| President Trump gave conservatives a spine once, and he can do it again. | |
| President Trump taught us how to fight on the embassy in Jerusalem, taught us to fight on the Iran deal, the border. | |
| And he'll do it again in the same way. | |
| He created the best economy on the planet, and he will do it again. | |
| The fundamentals of the economy were strong before the pandemic, which gives us a great chance at a V-shaped recovery. | |
| If we were in a recession and we shut down, oh my goodness, I don't even want to know where we would be. | |
| He is the left's kryptonite. | |
| He knows how to make them overplay their hand. | |
| Defund the police is polling negatively with independents and moderates, and especially suburban voters. | |
| Other things that are polling terribly is that the world's going to end in 12 years. | |
| Ban all guns. | |
| Medicare for all. | |
| The entire platform of Black Lives Matter actually polls negatively. | |
| They might poll favorably because no one has fought against them. | |
| Imagine if Republicans didn't fight when it came to Brett Kavanaugh. | |
| Imagine if Republicans didn't hold the line with Brett Kavanaugh. | |
| He might have been at his nomination poll. | |
| There's still ample reason to believe that Trump's favorability with black voters, especially black men, is still historically high for a Republican candidate. | |
| On June 5th, Rasmussen put it at 40%. | |
| Now, I don't tend to believe that number, but let's pretend it's half of that. | |
| 20% could still alter the course of American politics. | |
| Democrats cannot win in a national election without more than 90% of the black vote. | |
| That's why they're doing what they're doing right now. | |
| The left is posturing because they control the media. | |
| They are acting bigger than they actually are. | |
| This is Solinsky's number one rule. | |
| Make yourself seem more powerful than you really are. | |
| We call this a silent majority. | |
| We call us the silent majority because the right behaves differently than the left. | |
| We tend to be quieter about our politics. | |
| Well, obviously not me, not my DNA. | |
| And also, Joe Biden is a historically bad candidate. | |
| He's failed twice before in his bids for president, barely registering any percentage vote of Democrat voters in his primary in 2007 or 2008. | |
| He's a proven and admitted plagiarist in his 1988 campaign, cratered after multiple instances of plagiarism, both in campaign speeches and all the way from his law school days. | |
| He's a proven racist. | |
| He said this. | |
| You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. | |
| Play tape. | |
| You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. | |
| I'm not joking. | |
| He also said, I mean, you got the first mainstream African American who's articulate and bright and clean, a nice-looking guy. | |
| Play tape. | |
| I mean, you got the first sort of mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and nice-looking guy. | |
| I mean, that's a story, bro. | |
| He said that you're not black if you consider voting for Trump. | |
| Play tape. | |
| It's a long way until November. | |
| We got more questions. | |
| You got more questions. | |
| I tell you, if you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, and you ain't black. | |
| He's defended segregationists, and he's likely the most corrupt vice president in American history. | |
| He sent his son to China in Air Force 2 and sold us out for that. | |
| Listen to our sister episode today. | |
| Rudy Giuliani goes into this. | |
| Ukraine. | |
| And we know all about the corruption around Joe Biden, including Iraq. | |
| That's right, Iraq. | |
| And Rude Giuliani dives into that. | |
| Make sure you check out that episode. | |
| Now, look, I don't want to make light of this, but he's in the middle of a well-documented cognitive decline. | |
| And there's one other piece of good news, and I think it's a great piece of evidence to show the tale of two Americas. | |
| One that is optimistic and forward-thinking, that wants to focus on flourishing and going to new heights, literally and metaphorically, and one that wants to riot and burn and scorch our country. | |
| The United States is back in the space game. | |
| In a public-private partnership with SpaceX, NASA sent two astronauts, Doug Hurley and Bob Benkin, into space on board Elon Musk's Falcon 9 rocket. | |
| Look, it's been multiple decades since a human took off from United States soil on a brand new launch vehicle. | |
| This is also the first time anyone has flown to space from an American launch site since the space shuttle program was officially retired in 2011. | |
| In 1969, when Apollo 11 launched the first men into space to land on the moon, it was, among other reasons, to gain an advantage against the Soviets in the Cold War. | |
| But today, America's in a new Cold War, one that seems to be leading into a very hot war. | |
| But it's not with a foreign nation. | |
| We are in the kind of Cold War with China, but mostly it's with ourselves. | |
| So while this could have been a uniting moment, it barely got any coverage from the media. | |
| We know whose side they're on in this war. | |
| While we were launching a rocket into space in a public-private partnership, which should have been a moment of celebration, minutes later, on network television, they showed the rocket launch and they went straight to the burning of our inner cities. | |
| We, those of us that believe in reason and decency and history, civility, civilization, Western society, logic, facts, we're trying to go to new heights. | |
| We're trying to build something new. | |
| But remember, the left has never built anything. | |
| The left destroys everything it touches. | |
| The left is a force of locust on society. | |
| The left is a corrosive influence on all cultures. | |
| They destroyed the Soviet Union and Russia. | |
| They destroyed China. | |
| They destroyed Southeast Asia. | |
| They destroyed the Korean Peninsula. | |
| They destroyed Rhodesia. | |
| Everything the left touches, they destroyed. | |
| They destroyed Cuba. | |
| They destroyed Venezuela. | |
| They destroyed Argentina. | |
| We are the builders. | |
| And I don't even mean conservatives. | |
| I mean those of us that believe in reason and facts and logic and history and perspective. | |
| The America that wants to go higher, that wants to get to something new, that's the America we must reclaim and strengthen. | |
| That's the America that I believe in. | |
| That's the America I fight for every single day on the Charlie Kirkstring. | |
| That's the America I'm afraid that we are losing rapidly and quicker than any other time in our country's history from within. | |
| We will grow stronger if we refasten our commitment to breach into the unknown, to create what's never been done before, to take massive risk, to go to the stars literally and metaphorically and figuratively while the other side wants to burn down buildings. | |
| I can't think of a better example that you can use with your friends. | |
| I can't think of a better example where you can turn to someone you know and you say, while those of us that love our country, not political, we were going to the stars trying to create something new and go to the unknown, that frontier spirit, while the other side, the unreasonable, the mob, the swarm, the horde, the unthankful, was literally burning, looting, stealing televisions, and murdering black police officers. | |
| That is the tale of two separate countries. | |
| I want the country that wants to go to space, that doesn't ignore our problems, but instead tries to fix them, that doesn't try to burn down our history, but acknowledge it and tries to learn from it. | |
| That doesn't try to tear down our statues, but tries to understand it and recognizes bad things that were done by people that came in our country before, but understands that America has made mistakes, but America is not a mistake. | |
| Understand that America's downfalls are universal, but our positives are unique. | |
| We are the most generous, benevolent, greatest country ever to exist in the history of the world. | |
| We are the greatest hope of humanity. | |
| Our country, our flag that J.J. Watt and Baker Mayfield want to kneel for, that flag embodies the pursuit of greatness, not the apology for something that happened 100 years ago. | |
| That flag embodies us going into the Korean Peninsula and pushing back communism so South Korea can exist. | |
| That flag represents the defeat of the Soviet Union, the Nazis, Mussolini, and hopefully eventually Mao's China, Pol Pot. | |
| That represents the liberation of billions of people. | |
| That flag, which the left now wants to burn, protest, delete, and kneel for, embodies a spirit of going into the unknown. | |
| It also represents all the lives that were lost to protect your freedom to be foolish. | |
| It represents all the lives that were lost so Baker Mayfield can go take a knee while being paid millions of dollars saying that there's oppression in our country while he has mostly black teammates that are all making millions of dollars. | |
| The continual focus on the boogeyman of oppression, the oppression Olympics, the apology tour rooted in anger and resentment will put us in a bitter place of civil conflict. | |
| Instead, the philosophy of Elon Musk, to go further, to go upwards, to go into the unknown, while the country is burning, that is the greatest dichotomy I can imagine. | |
| Remember Philippians 4, 8, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think on these things. | |
| America is excellent and praiseworthy. | |
| America is admirable. | |
| It's not perfect. | |
| Paul did not say what is perfect. | |
| Remember, he starts with whatever is true. | |
| What is he really saying there? | |
| Christ is truth. | |
| Christianity is the only religion where the Savior. | |
| We're the most important figure in the religion doesn't say true things, but is truth. | |
| Huge difference. | |
| Alpha and Omega. | |
| What does that really mean? | |
| Beginning and end. | |
| What it actually means is that everything Christ said is everything humanity ever needs to hear. | |
| Love your neighbor. | |
| Put other people before you. | |
| How to operate, how to act. | |
| It's not enough just to do good things, but surrender yourself to Christ. | |
| That is the good news of the gospel, and it can make your life completely and fundamentally change. | |
| And I encourage you to do it today. | |
| In fact, I believe that the commitment to Jesus, your Lord and Savior, is a necessary prerequisite to you living a full, committed life here on earth, but also into eternity. | |
| Surrender yourself to that. | |
| Think on these things. | |
| Paul ends that verse with think. | |
| The emphasis on thinking, not feeling. | |
| Feeling is important. | |
| There's plenty of feelings all throughout the Bible. | |
| But thinking cognitively. | |
| Descartes says, I think, therefore I am. | |
| The failure to think, you might not exist. | |
| Paul tells us to think on these things. | |
| Think what is admirable. | |
| Think what is pure. | |
| Think what is excellent. | |
| Think what is praiseworthy. | |
| Those things are America. | |
| And the left wants to destroy that every single day. | |
| They won't if every person listening to this stands for truth. | |
| A few good men and women can save America. | |
| We do not need 30%. | |
| We don't need 10%. | |
| We don't even need 3%. | |
| If just 1% of the American population stands up loudly, vocally, confidently, and proudly for the rich history that we have, this country can and will be saved. | |
| Think on these things. | |
| The peace of God, we will save our country. | |
