Okay.
Hello humans.
Hello, humans.
Alright, so this is a short video about business stuff.
Pure sleep.
Okay, so my this is just a little short thing about my pure sleep product for those who are customers and who may be and want to and care about it.
Pure sleep is a very great formula.
Alright, it uh it aids the getting to sleep, and even more, in my opinion, uh beneficial.
It aids you when you wake up.
There's no hangover, there's no uh residual sleepiness, you feel energetic and uh ready to take on the day, right?
It eliminates inflammation and does all this stuff that causes that effect in the morning that you feel better on getting up.
So it's a great formula, but it's a terrible product.
Absolutely just a bitch of a product.
And this is because of the formula that I came up for the to achieve the end result.
And so, what I did was that I've got all of these elements from which I want specific things to join up that we may achieve the effect that we get out of pure sleep when you wake up, right?
And so we have all of these ingredients, and technically speaking, the 100% of the ingredient is necessary, but it's not what I'm after.
The other stuff within any given ingredient, the other proteins, the other carbs, these kind of things, although there's minimal carbs, um, are not what I'm seeking.
It's these particular basically bioflavonoids that when they combine uh with the GABA and the other stuff, they produce a situation where your body is able to repair and recover from the um uh travails of the day previous, such that you'll be much better positioned for the for the coming day.
Alright, so um so as a product, you have different considerations than as a formula.
So, as a formula, I take you know, a little bit of this, a little bit of that, put it into a cup and I'll stir it up, and there we go.
It's good.
But when we've got to do this on a mass scale and achieve consistency throughout, it there's other things that intrude.
So when I'm mixing this stuff up at home, I don't have to take into account flow rate through tubing and potential heat effects in that tubing uh of the flow rate of the material going through.
I don't have to take into account uh all different kinds of things that are involved in the manufacturing process when you go from making it at home to trying to scale, right?
And so you'll notice if you're a pure sleep uh purchaser that we're continually running out.
We're attempting to we we have solved that, okay.
So um so today in this in this business note I'm announcing generation two of pure sleep.
Um so pure sleep formula was great, but as a product, it was really terrible because it caused problems all throughout the process, not only with the supply chain and having to get stuff from all around the planet, uh, but also uh within the processing of that material,
individually, you know, getting these various different kinds of things that don't really want to go together, and then grinding them all up and mixing them, and it's the grinding and the mixing that has become very very acute.
Um it's the bottleneck, it's the slowdown, there's just no getting around it.
In fact, it's gotten so bad that the woman that um owns the company that does the grinding told the people at Pure Bulk, I'm paraphrasing, uh but and to make a point, but basically she said, you know, if you ever bring me this crap again, I'm gonna get a stick and beat you about the head.
It was it's that bad for them, okay.
It is just hellacious.
The problem is this uh if you get into the grinding process, no matter what you do, you're gonna generate heat because this is a uh kinetic movement.
And now I've come up with some other mechanisms where you can actually mix with air, but even that generates heat, and we don't have the machinery to do this in quantity in any event, but in any but the uh the point is that all of our ingredients are very heat um sensitive and have narrow ranges.
So it becomes a an issue of on a hot day, or when you've had you know a lot of other grinders and stuff going in your factory, and thus the ambient temperature is higher, you're gonna have more shutdowns on our material because it has this sensitivity to the heat and can't get up over a certain level, you've got to shut it down, let everything cool down, and even even then these machines are water-cooled.
Um, you know, so so it becomes a real issue.
And then they have to stop and use manual labor to actually get the stuff to uncake and and all of this because of the nature of the material.
So um, so now this has been an ongoing problem.
This has been a problem that has beset me since I first started trying to take this thing out on scale and had to go and learn about all of this, uh all of these aspects of going that uh route, right?
Of making an actual product and delivering the product uh, you know, in a consistent manner and meeting expectations, etc.
etc.
So I I knew I was getting into that when I got into this business of saying, okay, this is really good, I like it, it helps people.
I've been making the pure sleep for myself, but also had uh started making it for individuals, everybody loved it, they wanted me to make more, and I didn't want to, so I decided, okay, we got to get someone to make it for me, right?
Get it commercial, so I don't get out of the mixing of this business.
Um anyway, though, so the upshot is that the uh the grinder says, no, not doing it anymore.
I don't care what kind of money you pay me, it's just not worth it.
And and we've been paying huge rates for um the grinding process on a kilogram level that we that are just killing us.
So pure sleep had had a has uh a razor-thin profit margin, just barely enough to bring it to market.
Um because of the nature of the problems in dealing with the production of it, as well as the types of materials that were involved.
So what I've done now, so I let me get back to that point.
I had anticipated, not the grinding problem, because it's always been a problem.
I didn't know it was just going to finally get to the point where it drove her crazy and she wasn't going to have it anymore.
But I should have anticipated that, but I didn't.
But I did anticipate that there were going to be problems with our supply chain because of the nature of the materials in pure sleep, and also because uh so many people bitching at me when it when it goes sold out that I um uh thought, okay, we've got to solve this issue, we've got to get out of this.
So over the past uh let me see, since March, something like that, uh I've been messing with uh the chemical analysis of what I needed to do.
And so I we had two really problem ingredients in here, and so what I've done is I've been able to eliminate those problem ingredients, and we've replaced them with um other ingredients that uh will provide the same uh chemical response in the body, biochemical response, right?
It and and actually it's gonna be better.
There's a couple of things in here that are better now.
So we're now into generation two of pure sleep.
We can't sustain generation one as it is now, and in fact, we've been told that by this grinder, and this is probably the only one willing to work with us that you know, nope, not gonna do it anymore.
Uh but the substitution that I had been doing in order to get us around future anticipated supply chain problems will aid us in the grinding process and eliminate that as an issue.
It'll also improve the product and um make it much more consistent and much more reliable.
One of the things I got rid of here was monk fruit.
Our problem with monk fruit, okay, so the initial thought on the product was to obtain a level of sweetness uh for uh taste, but also because the sweet part of it, okay.
So this is tricky.
Um they say five tastes, and I've heard other people describe seven.
I can I can agree on the five, okay, where you know, sweet, sour, etc., right?
Uh salty and and so on.
Um these tastes are uh biochemical um initiators, trigger switches, you know, like um uh uh like boom, you know, that kind of thing, right?
So when you get a sweet taste, it actually initiates a process in your body.
It's not simply the registering of that taste.
It's not simply the taking in of the of the glycose of in some form or sucrose in some form, right?
Uh it is more than that because it triggers off all of these processes.
That is part of the of the nature of pure sleep, is that it had to obtain certain things in order to be effective, because in order to be effective, you need to uh to effectively sleep, you need to lower the body temperature slightly before you start getting into this sleep phase.
So there's all these biomechanical processes that have to go on.
Um so I got rid of the monk fruit because it was just a real pain because it's not consistent.
No matter what we do, it we so the measurements in the range of sweetness from monk fruit are very wide.
Um the need at a production level at a manufacturing level is to reduce that width down to something that's consistent to where you know that you're not going to get bitched at by a customer that says, hmm, this batch isn't as sweet as the last batch, right?
Because the sweetness is necessary in triggering the response that you have to uh engender in the in the body.
So I'm I've gone through this whole process.
I've eliminated these two problematic um elements in the mix, and I've replaced them, and we've got a better mix.
One of the ones that I replaced that I got rid of the monk fruit, though we replaced it with organic sugars.
And these organic sugars are a better match for what we're going to do with the product because of the other two elements that are coming on in which uh provide uh some body support.
Okay, so they provide body support for sleeping through the night without things like digestion and kidney processing and these kind of things waking you up, right?
Um this is a big deal for older people.
So older people wake up frequently and you know, get up and go pee, that kind of thing, right?
Um these kind of issues have to be understood in a more holistic sense.
Like if your body's getting you up, you know, if you're in your 70s and your body's getting you up uh four times a night to go pee.
There's a reason for that that you don't want to have in if you avoid that and you were to uh to dampen that down inappropriately, you might actually incur an increased chance of urinary tract infections, right?
And so these kind of things have to be uh understood.
So over these past months, I've been looking at this and I've come up with a solution uh for the product that makes it better.
Taste is uh still the same, uh still gets you to sleep well, you still have the same uh perk you up in the morning effect and so on.
Uh without uh and okay, so then we've also reduced the um amount of material necessary for that same uh effect because monk fruit was very voluminous.
It is very very fluffy, very powdery.
And uh so we can reduce it with a very much smaller amount of sugars, reduce the cost because monk fruit is very expensive.
It's it's hard to get the kind of quality we needed uh in any way, shape, or form inexpensively.
Uh not true with sugars.
You can get very high quality sugars at very low cost.
Uh so anyway, and you also use very much smaller amounts because of the nature of what we're trying to do here.
So it's gonna be a better better formula.
It's gonna have um uh uh um hormone um triggers in the in the mix itself in terms of the drinking of it that are going to affect a more quality sleep, hopefully for uh for everyone, over a longer period of time without interruptions without inducing uh potential for uh unwanted side effects, so to speak, right?
Like dampening down the ability to the need to get up and go pee if that's what you need to do.
If your body says go and eliminate you need to.
Um but it and it also hopefully will reduce our costs.
So uh it's a long business notes thing, but in any event, um, so um this now uh at a practical level uh we won't have these out for a while, right?
This this next batch won't be out for a while.
The we have a new batch of pure sleep one, all right.
So generation one, pure sleep.
The last batch is on the coming out on the 24th.
Uh 24th or 25th of this month.
Um it's a metric ton, which is you it would seem a lot, but it'll sell out.
It'll sell out very, very rapidly.
Not like in a day or anything like that, but in a few days or a week, maybe it'll be gone.
Coincidental to this, they're having uh Pure Bulk is having a holiday sale starting on the Black Friday, 20% off on their uh selected items throughout the Pure Bulk catalog.
And so you probably need to take advantage of that.
But here's here's another biz note that we're gonna business note that as to how we're gonna organize this.
I can't tell you when generation two is gonna start up.
But once we've started generation two, we shouldn't run out anymore.
We shouldn't have any of these grinding issues, it should be a smooth flow all the way through.
We shouldn't have the grinding lady beating us over the head with sticks, telling us to go away, and so we should be thereafter able to keep supplying need.
So the guys at Pure Bulk and have asked me, and we we're gonna go ahead and do this deal, where once Generation 2 comes on, we'll have an opening special for it.
And you know, I don't know, maybe we can get it in before Christmas.
I just don't know how soon this can happen.
But the opening special on it is gonna be buy X number and get one free along with your uh your purchase because so many people are um uh recurring purchasers of uh pure sleep.
We thought we would throw the benefit that way.
Uh it will not necessarily uh result in new packaging or anything, uh, and we don't know at this point what our cost structure is going to be, but we do know that going to generation two, and the and the formula I've got there will greatly reduce the impacts of hyperinflation on our production.
And hopefully, as I say, we'll eliminate the issue of both supply chains.
Well, I know we'll eliminate the grinding as a problem.
It'll just go away with this new formula.
But and also hopefully, because we're gonna bring so much more of it back to uh North America, hopefully we'll be able to eliminate the supply chain issues affecting us in the future for continuing production of it.
And there's other small benefits to me in the sense that the formulation is is better, they're all hydrophilic, they all suck water out of the air, but uh this one is gonna be less so than the current generation of pure sleep.
So generation one, we're gonna have uh another metric ton show up on the 24th, um, and it'll go fairly rapidly.
Uh so just be advised.
And then we're already starting, as of you know, we had a business morning at uh crack of uh crack of dawn kind of stuff to discuss all of this.
Um just so that the customers won't be um left hanging as we go through the process.
They're gonna try and get this whole thing worked out as smooth as possible.
But once generation two is there, we're good.
Okay, so we shouldn't have any more production problems.
And so that's basically the biz notes on this.
Uh so they're having their purebulk is having their sale on Black Friday, uh, but the pure sleep will be back on the 24th.
There is no discounting on pure sleep ever because the margins are so razor thin because of all the costs we've got to get.
So, for instance, our grinding costs already have escalated over five times.
Or something like that, close to five times the cost.
And then she actually told him, I was hoping you wouldn't pay it.
I was hoping you guys would go away.
Anyway, so you know, and I understand, you know, I've worked these jobs when I was uh when I was a kid and just married, I worked a whole hell of a lot of um uh very interesting jobs where I had to do things with large paddles and big industrial equipment areas where I was covered up in a in a in a suit causing chemicals to go flying everywhere.
So I I appreciate her issues.
Um anyway, though, so pure sleep, there you go.
Uh we're gonna go into generation two.
I'll make an announcement when that's available.
Uh pure sleep generation one, the last metric ton will go on sale, uh, be available on the 24th.
