I've just finished watching Sandman's latest video about the UFO he saw, and I thought that I'd share something I've seen as well.
Now, I'm a big fan of conspiracy theories, alien encounter stories and stuff like that, but I always treat them like science fiction, because there's no proof.
You know, someone's saying it isn't proof.
But that doesn't mean that they're necessarily lying, and it doesn't mean that they didn't see something.
I believe Sandman saw something.
I absolutely do.
I can't tell you what it was.
I can't tell you any more than what he said.
And I would never presume to be able to say so.
But I thought I'd just relate what I saw one time.
And this is the only thing I've ever seen.
And I have no explanation for it.
So, a few years ago, well, when I was 27, my best friend died.
And we tried to have regular meet-ups on the date of his birthday to just honour his memory, the group of friends that I'm in.
And one of these times we decided to go and climb Mount Snowden in Wales.
And we did this.
It was an entire day's worth, obviously.
And we went via the Crib Gok route, which I have to tell you is terrifying.
It was the most terrifying experience of my life.
But we did it.
And we got to the top, absolutely shattered, and walked down the miner's trail back down the mountain.
And we were staying at a campsite that was quite far out in North Wales, near Snowden.
And I'm a city boy.
I'm used to light pollution.
I never get to see the stars, really.
And so afterwards, it was dark, and we were having a barbecue.
And maybe an hour into us having started the barbecue, I was standing there drinking a beer with a couple of mates, and I was just looking up at the stars, thinking, wow, this is a lot more detailed than anything I've ever seen.
And as I was watching, I saw one star that was travelling across the sky.
Now, it looked just like a star.
I couldn't have differentiated it between any of the other stars, except for the fact that it was moving.
My first thought was, oh, it must be a satellite, or perhaps the International Space Station, or something like that.
And on the brief, on the rough map I've drawn in paint is how things looked to me.
This is, you know, there was the night sky, it was black, obviously, and there were just stars dotted around.
I'm no astrologer or astronomer.
I think it's astronomer.
And I don't know anything about stars in any way, so I don't know anything about constellations.
But I'm pretty sure that stars don't generally move.
and it was moving quite rapidly.
If the picture you can see is the entire expanse of my vision, it moved from one side to the other in about a minute.
So I didn't get to watch it for very long.
And as I was watching it move, it was, again, going quite fast.
I pointed it out to a few of my friends, and one of them is a complete sceptic.
He thinks that the 9-11 attacks were caused by planes, that the buildings fell down because planes collided with their top stories, and then that caused the structural collapse of these two giant skyscrapers that were designed to withstand plane impacts.
So he's very much blue pill in that regard.
But we were watching it, and he thought it was probably a satellite or something, and I was inclined to agree.
Except when it got towards the far left of the field of vision that we had, it just turned on a dime and started going in the direction of the yellow, the white arrows that I've drawn on the sky map that I've drawn.
And at the same speed.
There was no change in velocity, there was nothing to imply that there was going to be a course correction.
And it just carried on going until it was out of our view.
beyond some trees.
And I've never seen anything like it.
And I can't explain it.
I'm pretty sure the satellites can't just stop and turn the other way.
I'm pretty sure the International Space Station can't just stop and turn the other way.
I have no explanation for it.
And I mean, I'm not expecting anything to come of this or anything like that, but I just wanted to share what I'd seen.
Because, honestly, I wasn't drunk.
You know, I'd had a couple of beers, but I wasn't insensible.
And I know that, obviously, oh, well, he was drinking.
It was, you know, he was exhausted from the day.
And, you know, I'm not saying I've had any kind of alien encounter or anything like that.
I'm just saying I saw a light that travelled from one side of the sky to the other and then just turned on a dime and started going in almost the opposite direction.
And I've got no explanation for it.
So yeah, it's just something that I've always wanted to share, really, I suppose.
