Episode 5169: President Trump Delivers A Historical State Of The Union Cont.
President Trump’s historic State of the Union framed his policies as a bulwark against Marxist Democrats, targeting Rep. Ilhan Omar for deportation while exposing alleged DOJ collusion and inflation manipulation. Critics like Stephen K. Bannon and Terry Schilling attacked a $4.5B "transgender industry," calling for federal bans on youth procedures amid Democratic circumvention tactics. Mark Beale revealed internal AI policy divisions, with Trump’s speech prioritizing taxpayer costs over tech regulation, mirroring 1990s free-trade anxieties. Mike Lindell, running for Minnesota governor, praised the SAVE Act but accused Democrats of corruption, linking it to his campaign’s confrontations with figures like Elon Musk and Keith Ellison—all while promoting MyPillow deals. The episode underscores Trump’s election-year strategy: uniting his base against perceived institutional threats while sidestepping tech debates in favor of cultural and economic warfare. It is Wednesday, 25 February in the year of our Lord, 2026.
Last night was a historic moment.
That was not a speech.
It was much more than the speech.
The totality of it.
It's only President Trump and his team can do.
The totality of it.
And it gets back to there's no persuadables in this country.
The sides are lined up.
It's how you turn them out.
And last night, he reinforced that this is a base election.
We're down here in Texas.
We can see what the Democrats are doing.
They get the joke on their side.
And last night, the president could not have put a bigger contrast and highlight.
You're either for this country, you're for this republic, you're for what's been bequeathed to us, that like every generation, we're supposed to make it as better than it was and do as much work to pass it down to future generations.
That's the superpower of the United States is a group of working class and middle class people that in his founding were kicked out of, as Bill Murray said in that movie, kicked out every decent country in Europe and came here and had a shot with a little guy never had a shot and created the greatest superpower that created more wealth, freed more people, fought more wars for other folks.
Never in history has this ever happened.
That's the genius of this country, what the Greeks called the genius.
And last night, the two sides, and he called them out, he set a trap and called them out in front of the nation and the world.
And they sat there with the big, dumb smiles on their face.
You see, Rokana, dude, you just got blown up.
Mark Kelly, blown up.
They knew they were getting blown up.
Of course, and Omar ought to be deported to smorning, denaturalized and deported, or put in prison, denaturalized, put in prison, and then deported later.
But she was a great prop last night, yelling and screaming, her and Taib.
That optics is amazing.
Dr. Navarro, on the nuts and bolts of it, on tariffs, on the economic policies, I know you work daily to assist the president in your assessment last night of not just the work that went into it, but how you think it came across, sir.
Steve, to use one of your terms, a massive class, what concerns me is how since 2016, the Democrats have debased our institutions in this country.
The idea that they would walk into that chamber, sit on their hands, or misbehave and get thrown out in the face of what has been a miraculous turnaround in our economy and our national security, I think should stun people.
Here's what we're in a race to November, Steve, between expectations and reality.
And I want to give you a little example from yesterday when consumer confidence came out.
What does that have to do with the state of the union?
Simply this.
The key number in consumer confidence yesterday was the expectation of people that inflation is going to run at about 4.5%.
Now, think about that.
We're in a world where inflation, the inflation rate is dramatically downshifting and we're down close to a 2% target.
So what that suggests is a wide gap between expectations and reality.
And it's that gap that the Democrats are precisely going to try to exploit going into November.
They're going to sit in their hands and stonewall and then call us murderers when the reality is a far cry from that expectation.
But people, it's almost like people during the Biden years had PTSD because they got so beaten down by everything that was thrown at them, whether it was the inflation surge, whether it was losing their jobs or getting murdered by legal aliens, or whether it was simply the world falling apart with example in Afghanistan.
And so what we have to do and what the president did very, very well last night is continue to explain to the American people what he is doing and how it is making things significantly better.
And he keeps saying, and I think this is 110% right, that if Kamala Harris had been elected instead of him, this country would be done over.
They said the thing, 64 or 65% of the American people, they did the flash poll agree with what Trump's saying.
This is a two-thirds, one-third.
President Trump called them out to their face and said, you know this from the Green Bay sweep.
He called them out to their face, said they can't cheat.
The reason they're not backing the bill, they can't cheat, they can't win.
He called them out to their face and they just sat there with a big grin.
He called them out.
He says the reason they don't back the Save America Act is obvious.
They don't want voter ID.
They don't want the purge of the voter rolls.
They don't want to stop the abuses of mail-in ballots because as we say on this show over and over again, if you can't cheat, you can't win.
And then John Solomon's got all this new information that's coming out nonstop about the J6 committee working with the White House and DOJ.
This is why you and I went to prison.
And I'm prouder of it now than ever because you saw the demons.
These are demons and criminals.
The J6 committee are a group of criminals.
The senior members of the Justice Department were a series of criminals.
The White House had a series of criminals there.
And in that audience last night were criminals.
They're criminals, the Samayan, all of it.
There's nothing to debate here.
It's not open for debate anymore.
It's only one side's going to win and one side's going to lose.
And the way you win is you got to put your muscle into the field and get everybody.
You have to, we have to have now truly an army of the awakened.
Because I don't believe, Peter, you made a very profound statement at the top.
Trump's supposed to be a disruptor.
He's supposed to be the destroyer.
He's the one that's rejuvenating and saving these institutions without Trump at craters because they're anarchists.
They're Marxist.
You said that you couldn't believe how you used the word debased.
And normally you and I talk about debased when you talk about a currency.
They're debasing American life.
They're debasing this American republic.
They're debasing everything that every generation in this country for what, 14, 15, 16 generations have passed down to the other generation.
They want to destroy it all.
And it's manifested in the 20 to 25 million illegal aliens they brought in this country.
And they couldn't stand when Trump said, not my administration, not me, Donald Trump, not DHS.
The American government's number one priority is to protect American citizens and not illegal aliens.
Can you please stand and show your support?
And they sat there, called out, walked into a trap and called out by the commander-in-chief, the president of the United States, the chief magistrate, and the chief law enforcement officer of this republic, Dr. Navarro.
Omar, Steve, we've got to get to the bottom of Omar because Omar symbolizes so much that is very wrong with the Democrat ideology, including the open borders without restraint.
What has to happen with Omar?
I mean, there's no way that you honestly acquire $30 or $40 or $50 million of wealth when you come from, and they use the word Donald Trump uses, a whole country like Somalia, which has essentially no government.
And they're a bunch of pirates.
They are.
That's their culture.
That's their organizational culture.
They're pirates.
And I think what really needs to happen with Omar and her husband and her brother, who she married, is there needs to be a very thorough follow-through money investigation from the time she got here and the time her brother and husband got here and figure out exactly how you acquire so much wealth.
And the other part of that is the whole insider trading of these pirates in Congress like Nancy Pelosi.
I mean, think about that, Steve.
The speaker of the friggin' house becomes a multi, multi, multi-millionaire many times over Peter Schweitzer.
He's breaking off the misery of the pandemic on down.
There will be a cavalcade of tariff-related actions over the next two to three weeks that are going to defend and protect American workers and the manufacturing base and do it in a way which is going to throw the burden and cost on them, not us.
Steve Peter and Compt, you're doing what you're doing, brother.
We'll talk about the Solomon Solomon's finding, the efforts of Fonnie Willis, that beauty.
Remember, she was trying to put Trump in prison.
Trump put all these other people in prison, too.
Those heroes and patriots in Georgia, which were going to get to the bottom of the stealing of the 2020 election.
And not Steve Bannon saying the commander-in-chief, the president of these United States, last night in the House, in front of the world, told them if they don't cheat, they can't win.
Where have you heard that before?
Think you heard this on this show?
The president of the United States understands it to the marriage because you understand what went on.
And the Democrats are down there trying to get those ballots back and trying to get the tabulators back.
Fonnie Willis, as John Solomon says, everybody, take those stories and push them out in collusion with Jamie Raskin and Liz Cheney and Nancy Pelosi, the J6 committee, and the DOJ, which sent Navarre and I to prison, and we're proud to go to prison.
We're not going to bend any of those scumbags.
And the White House, what people told you all along that they were in collusion and working together and Fonnie Willis down in Fulton County, because they thought they had Trump, they're going to get him on some state charges and get him down there with one of those rigged juries and a rigged judge and send him to prison to die.
This is the stakes here.
We're not talking about marginal tax rates or a difference in education policy.
This is about an enemy within that is festered and now is parasitic.
If he's prepared to stand in that breach and call it out, are you prepared to have his back with all his faults and things he's not doing?
I get it.
I get it.
It's not perfect.
That's why it's a human institution and he's a man.
Where none of us are perfect.
But you know what?
It's damn good enough.
As sure as the turning of the earth, if we do not destroy root and branch, these Marxists, this culture, this color revolution now, in this time and place, and not wait and not pass it on to another generation like these feckless Republicans.
Do it today, do it now, do it now.
Bruce Springsteen's going to take it out and rub your nose in it.
And who can believe that we're even speaking about things like this?
15 years ago, if somebody was up here and said that, they'd say, what's wrong with him?
But now we have to say it because it's going on all over numerous states without even telling the parents.
But surely we can all agree no state can be allowed to rip children from their parents' arms and transition them to a new gender against the parents' will.
Who would believe that we're even talking about this?
Deeper than DEI, you know, separate from the invasion of the southern border, so many issues of where they are debasing our institution, destroying the country, as Dr. Navarro said.
This, and I'm bringing it Terry Schilling and Terry Yu and Brandon Schowalter and some of the authors over with Tony Lyons, Sheila Matthews at Able Child, a handful of voices years ago started warning people about this.
And at first it was too crazy even to think about.
And last night, one of the centerpieces of President Trump and something that's so emotional, he said, if you're not saying these people are crazy and they will destroy the nation on this topic, sir, Terry Schilling, tell me why was that such an important moment in this speech, this historic, like I said, not even a speech, this historic moment last night, this historic event last night.
Well, Steve, I think if I were to boil it all down is that the Democrats and the trans, the $4.5 billion transgender industry have been deceiving the American people.
This industry is built on deceit.
And what President Trump is he is stopping the deceit, which is what we need to do.
He is exposing the lies.
You know, Steve, this happened in 2021.
Sage Blair was basically kidnapped from her parents by the state away from them because they wouldn't turn her into a boy or give her sterilization drugs.
They lied to us.
They told us that kids don't get sex changed in this country.
We don't do that.
Parents aren't losing custody over their children.
It was all lies.
And Steve, the big problem is, is that when it comes to deceit, it's worse than lying because there's a purpose behind it.
And when it comes to the transgender industry, the purpose behind it is to destroy the country by destroying the family and destroying the future of our country by destroying our children.
Our children should be protected at all costs.
I cannot be more grateful for President Trump and everything he's done for the movement to protect our children from this evil industry.
Steve, he's exactly right.
These Democrats that support this stuff that have been lying to us and deceiving us are evil.
They are crazy.
In what world do we give kids sex changes?
In what world do we take them away from their parents when the parents say, you're not sterilizing my children?
And in what world do the schools think that they have the right to do this to children?
This is the Democratic platform.
They think that your children belong to them, not you as a parent.
And that's what I'm so grateful for President Trump.
But Steve, this was the biggest platform ever given to any of these parents that have lost custody.
This is just one case, by the way, Steve.
I think it's important for the posse to understand that.
This is one case out of hundreds.
There are hundreds of parents across the country that have lost custody.
There's a parent actually that I know of that went bankrupt.
They had to decide not to no longer fight this case in court because all of their money got sucked up by legal fees.
This is what the Dems do.
They will destroy you if they oppose them.
And so we have them beat, though.
We have the president of the United States.
We have to make sure, though, that this crazy language, Democrats need to be branded as crazy.
And the transgender industry is the best way to paint them as crazy because Trump said what everyone says in their minds when they hear about kids giving sex changes.
Because a lot of people think, hey, President Trank came in and we had all these executive orders had this thing, you know, Tennessee shut down or certain hospitals.
I know a lot of people are saying, hey, it was such a great job you guys did with the Terry Schillings in the world and the President Trump's taking care of the transgender things over.
And I said, I don't think it's over.
I think we're making dents on it, but this is so deeply rooted.
They could not stand up.
This President Trump, he got angry.
He says, look at these people.
They're crazy on something based on this.
Where do we stand right now?
Where are you guys taking this?
And what do we need to get in back here?
Because if you don't get rid of this, this is one of these deep festering issues that's to the core of the radical.
This is the Marxist that there are no men and women.
There are no genders.
There is no family.
They're using this to destroy the family structure, which the Bolsheviks have always needed.
The cultural revolution with the Chinese Communist Party, the Bolsheviks, the core is always the family.
The underpinnings of the Judeo-Christian West and the family, that's what they have to shatter.
And this is the tool they're using to do it.
So where do we stand in this fight?
What do we have to do to have your back and President Trump's back?
So where we stay in this fight is essentially Trump has, what Trump did, and RFK Jr., by the way, also was critical to this, is they basically said that for hospitals to remain eligible for Medicaid funding, they can no longer perform any type of transgender procedures, hormone administration, or anything like that.
It's been hugely beneficial.
And that's why you see these lists of all these hospitals announcing that they're closing these clinics.
Steve, they're just leaving the clinics there.
They're not demolishing the clinics, right?
We need to demolish these clinics.
They need to be no longer existing, no longer standing.
But what they're doing is they're just locking the door and waiting for us to lose elections.
They want a new president because Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris, any of these types that are coming up, James Tallarico, they will give so much more funding to these transgender programs, it'll make your head spin.
They are waiting, playing the waiting game.
This is a $4.5 billion industry.
So in all, there's 27 states, by the way, that have banned these procedures for minors.
But in states like California, New York, and Illinois, they're keeping this going because they passed what they call blue shield laws.
And that allows them to mail puberty blockers, wrong sex hormones into the red states that protect their children.
They're playing the waiting game, Steve.
They've taken over the institutions, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics.
They still have power there.
They're waiting for us to lose the White House and to lose Congress, and then they're going to ramp it back up.
Steve, what we need to do is twofold.
First of all, we need to get on the phone to get John Thune to hold a vote to ban sex change procedures for minors in the Senate.
You see how much those Democrats were squirming in their seats there when President they're not comfortable with it.
They don't want this issue brought up, and they certainly don't want to be forced to vote on it.
Force every single one of these sickos to vote yes or no, should we allow for children to be sterilized through sex change procedures?
And secondly, Steve, we need to beat the crap out of these guys at the election on election day at the polls.
APP is going to spend $20 million in the midterms.
The bigger prize, though, is in 2028.
We can't let off the gas, Steve.
If we give up the Senate, if we give up the House, the Democrats are going to put all their garbage in there again, and then they're going to try and take back the White House.
And we'll be in a worse spot than we were in the past because we will have been exposed and overcome it.
So, Andrew, while you're up, now I'm going to ask a highly respected General James Seward to present Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolf and the great family of Sarah Bextram with the award created by our late great president George Washington himself.
It's called the Purple Heart.
Chief Warrant Officer Slover is still recovering from his serious wounds, but I'm thrilled to say that he is here tonight with his wife Amy, Eric, and Amy.
In recognition of Eric's actions above and beyond the call of duty, I would now like to ask General Jonathan Braga to present Chief Warrant Officer Slover with our nation's highest military award, Congressional Medal of Honor.
one more heroic American aviator, NAVY fighter pilot.
Royce Williams served in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, flying more than 220 missions.
In disguise over Korea in 1952, Royce was in the dogfight of a lifetime, legendary dogfight.
Flying through blizzard conditions, his squadron was ambushed by seven Soviet fighter planes.
It was his first aerial combat of the war, and despite being massively outnumbered and outgunned, Royce led the takedown of four enemy jets and almost destroyed the others, vanquishing his adversaries while taking 263 bullets to his own plane and being seriously hurt.
His story was secret for over 50 years.
He didn't even want to tell his wife, but the legend grew and grew.
But tonight, at 100 years old, this brave Navy captain is finally getting the recognition he deserves.
He was a legend long before this evening.
Royce, please stand up, and I will ask the First Lady of the United States to present Captain Royce Williams with his Congressional Medal of Honor.
Brian Kennedy joins me, one of our deepest thinkers on the MAGA side, one of our true public intellectuals.
Brian, last night, in the highest, in high relief, the heroism and patriotism of the best of our country, this republic, and in this deep pit of this cauldron of Marxism and chaos and anarchy and just absolutely everything anti-American.
I thought that was President Trump's greatest speech of all time because it was both brilliantly partisan, given the fact that the audience was, as you say, full of Marxists.
But he rhetorically, President Trump was saying to the American people last night, you have a nation of heroes.
Let me describe and present some awards to those heroes.
This is the kind of country you have that create men like this and women like this.
And that was a signal to the American people that you shouldn't be down in the dumps about anything.
You should be looking up at these heroes.
This is who we're fighting for.
You have a nation of heroes, and I am your champion, Donald Trump, against the communists and illegal aliens who would seek to destroy this nation and our way of life.
I thought he did that beautifully throughout the speech.
He wove in throughout the speech these heroes from National Guardsmen to an Olympic, you know, the Olympic gold medalist.
He even gave Holland Beck the Presidential Medal of Freedom, a goalie who did a brilliant job, by the way.
But the Medal of Honor winners, here are men who stood up for their country, who did great things for their country.
And he showed to the United States that this is the kind of country you have.
And I'm going to defend it, and I'm going to defend it against these crazy people on the American left who would seek to destroy it.
In that regard, I'd be surprised if historians don't call this the nation of heroes speech.
It was so perfectly written and delivered by the president.
And I thought Jim Rickards was right.
The theatrics were perfect.
But the message to the American people, I think, was profound.
And he was showing you what was at stake if we don't continue to win.
And I thought the president did a brilliant job.
I thought the one big takeaway I had was partly the Iran stuff that we talked about earlier with Rickards.
It does look like we're on path to go to war in Iran.
But I think the president laid it out in such a way as to tell the American people, I'm doing this for us.
This is not for Israel.
This is not for anybody else in the Middle East.
This is for the United States.
We have to make sure the United States is defended against these people in Iran who would seek to destroy us.
And I thought that was a very important moment, too.
He didn't mention anybody else.
It's not about liberating Iran and liberating the people of Iran.
It's about making sure the American people are defended against any enemy who would seek to destroy us.
And given the capabilities of Iran today, they have ballistic missiles that are capable, if you launch them from a ship, against the United States.
They have that capacity already today.
And if they can combine that with a nuclear warhead, then you could see Iran in very short order, not 2035, as some people mentioned, but in very short order, having the capacity to destroy the United States.
And so I thought that was an important feature of the speech, too.
I've got limited time, and I do want to get you back on because I may have some disagreements with that, but I have enough respect for you that and the others that take that point of view that I want to have on and we'll work through with the, you know, we put the treat of Parsis on here and we put the Kurt Mills's on here.
But people don't realize that Brian's been with us from the beginning.
He's one of the heaviest weights of public intellectuals and people don't understand what Brian does behind the scenes on everything from like fighting the stolen election, but Brian's always someone who comes in and rolls his sleeves up.
He's not just sitting there thinking great thoughts.
I want to go back to something.
Why Brian Kennedy, Steve Bennett's hair is on fire, running around yelling, screaming to a microphone.
You're very different.
You're kind of one of the sources of stability for the MAGA movement, particularly intellectually.
Just give me a minute or two.
We only got two, but give me two minutes on why you say in your discernment and judgment that this was President Trump's greatest speech.
We have states in the Union that are in open rebellion to the United States government and our efforts to try to deport 25 million illegal aliens.
Part of that group there on the left, they're supporting that open rebellion.
We're in a virtual state of civil war.
And the president, instead of trying to, you know, trying to ameliorate things, he divided the country in ways that were extremely useful.
In politics, it's useful to divide people if the other side has become unreasonable.
Here's President Trump with his common sense saying, are you willing to stand up? and put the American people before illegal aliens.
And, you know, that takes a lot of courage to do, actually, in this kind of a speech.
An everyday speech, you can maybe pull it off.
In this kind of a speech, that took amazing courage to be that openly partisan, demonstrating how the Democratic Party has been given over to Marxists, communists, and people who would seek to destroy the American way of life.
And so I was extremely proud of the president for being that forceful in that presentation.
A lot of times, you know, the pundits in the mainstream media think this is a moment for dignity and bringing the country together.
The country is not together today.
The country, part of it, is an open rebellion to the common sense policies of enforcing U.S. immigration law.
They brought in 25 million people illegally, and now they seek to keep them here in this country.
And President Trump is simply not going to have it.
And so that kind of forcefulness from the president last night, I thought was just perfect.
And as I say, I'm extremely proud of him for doing that.
This is this anthropic issue with Pete Heggs as in the Department of War.
Very complicated, but the American people have to understand this.
Mark is going to join us tomorrow because we're going to need time to walk you through this.
However, Mark, my phone is blown up this morning.
The dog that didn't bark, because people should know, behind the scenes, there's a massive fight going on in the imperial capital about artificial intelligence.
Mark Beale, last night, correct me if I'm wrong, the dog didn't bark.
President Trump's entire thing of artificial intelligence virtually was saying that I'm passing, like, we're going to, I'm going to do executive orders.
You're not going to pay for the data centers, electricity or the water.
There was no ringing, you know, of the tech bros' position on unregulated artificial intelligence, sir.
Yeah, hey, Steve, it was remarkable in that sense.
I mean, given the messaging really since day one of this administration on the importance of accelerating AI, I was expecting the president to kind of really lean in and make the case to the American people as to why, you know, the policy agenda that he's pursuing is the right one.
And then, you know, about a week ago, I even heard the vice president on Fox News talking, in my view, the first, in my sense, the first time, sort of more about the downsides and the tail risks of AI.
So I don't know if this is like a bit of a sea change for this administration where they've realized that on the campaign trail in the midterms this year, it's not great politics to be kind of talking about AI and all these various things that are kind of uncontrolled and unregulated.
And so I thought it was very notable that the president didn't really lean into AI and instead just basically told the American people that, look, we understand that we're going to be building these data centers and we're going to make sure that you, the working class, are not going to be the ones that are footing the bill for the tech industry.
I thought that was a very important message for what it said and for what it didn't say.
Given the knife fight, and people understand it's a knife fight behind the scenes.
Given the knife fight behind the scenes of what you and Brendan and all these other people, these heroes, Max Telemark, everybody's working on every day, it was pretty stunning, was it not?
It is an intense and escalating war on Capitol Hill over the future of our policy toward this incredibly important and powerful technology.
It is bare knuckled, just knockdown, drag out, winner take all.
And nobody seems to be to be backing down on this.
And I think the president, you know, in his speech is reflecting that fact that there isn't a lot of consensus here.
There's a lot of fear.
There's a lot of anxiety in the American people.
And they're scared.
And they want to see the government have a plan for how it is that's going to help ensure that as this disruption happens, that people aren't left behind in ways that I think echo the discussions around free trade in the 1990s, where the middle class and the working families were kind of left behind and big businesses were kind of given sort of carte blanche access to kind of to move forward and leave others people kind of holding the back.
We cannot let this happen with AI.
I think AI is here to stay.
We have to deal with it.
There can be amazing upsides to this, but we have to make sure that AI is serving human flourishing, serving the working class, serving the American people and not just the interests of a few folks in Silicon Valley.
We'll make sure you're up to speed on all the developments from the smartest minds in the business.
Mike Lindale, first, being one of the president's closest confidents and colleagues, colleague, your thoughts on this moment in history, not even a speech, but this event that took place last night, sir.
