| Well, the Russians actually from Moscow, one of their official, remember, they got these kind of official and semi-official information like TAS, others that kind of put out RT, that put out really their state media. | ||

| Any scenario for the deployment of NATO troops in Ukraine is categorically unacceptable for Russia and is fraught with a sharp escalation. | ||

| Read a statement from the foreign minister against the backstop of certain statements of Western countries regarding the possibilities of sending such a contingent. | ||
| So this is going to be a key negotiation area, right? | ||
| Particularly when you're talking about land, you're talking about the possibility. | ||
| One thing we've warned against is that, and it says right there in the Russian thing, there's so much bitterness, and there should be bitterness. | ||
| The people that should be the most bitter, I believe, are the citizens of Ukraine. | ||
| The citizens of Ukraine, the citizenship itself, to me, has shown incredible courage and valor. | ||
| And they've done what they've been asked to do, or in some cases, been told to do. | ||
| You know, they believe in the country, and that's fine. | ||
| We've said this is a problem between Russia, two Slavic entities, right? | ||
| One that believes that historically that this is not even a separate entity at all, the other that believes they are with modern history and they think they've been kind of misled by the West. | ||
| Professor Mersheimer, I think, has done an excellent job of explaining that to people. | ||
| Number one, as he said back in 2014, when Victoria Nuland and this crowd, Hillary Clinton, that whole crowd basically threw out a democratically elected government. | ||
| Now, when I say democratically elected, it was Putin's, look, it had a strong Russian influence. | ||
| In fact, people even say hey the Russians rigged the election well guess what our election was rigged in 2020 as hard as we tried we couldn't throw Biden out of office So they had a color revolution, the same color revolution they're trying to run right now in Hungary against Orban. | ||

| I don't want to hear any kind of rhetoric. | ||
| We want to see actions. | ||
| Orbán, that crowd, Orbán has not been to the White House yet. | ||
| You know, Zelensky has had like at least two visits. | ||
| I think maybe more. | ||
| He's had one, which was the complete meltdown, and then today. | ||
| Some of these other guys are on the second, third trip. | ||
| Macron looks like he should get an apartment across Lafayette Square. | ||
| But I digress. | ||
| Jack Pasobik joins us by phone right now. | ||
| Jack, I just read the president's statement that just came out that said, hey, the security guarantees are European security guarantees with America as a coordinator. | ||
| So we are making progress, okay? | ||
| We're making big progress. | ||
| But the Russians, as you pointed out, and I think only Pasobik's got this, the Russians came out today and said, hey, maybe it's the translation that you guys are not getting, but when you talk about security guarantees, that kind of rings like an Article 5 NATO. | ||
| If you put NATO troops in there, it's going to get this thing could escalate. | ||
| As we said, it's so much vengeance, retribution. | ||
| There's been so many dead, so many wounded. | ||
| They've now officially gave us today the count 950,000 Russians dead or wounded. | ||
| I think it's almost the same amount. | ||
| President Trump keeps talking about and commenting on a million dead Ukrainian troops dead or wounded. | ||
| And I think the number of civilians is up to 100,000. | ||
| So Jack Pesobic, you had a pretty big scoop there, sir, in alerting people to the fact that there's a long way for any buy- off in any part of this deal, sir? | ||
| Well, Steve, thank you for that. | ||
| And I think that does come, it should come as no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention to this problem set going all the way back to 2022, when it was the Russians who initially said no Ukraine and NATO. | ||
| And they were the ones raising the issue of seeing American soldiers training alongside Ukrainian soldiers. | ||
| We later found out about a dozen or so CIA bases that were operating on Ukrainian soil alongside the border with Russia because they understand that when Victoria Nuland, and if people have to understand Victoria Nuland and the previous members of the administration turned this meat grinder on, they always viewed Ukraine not as a country but as a launching platform for regime change operations within Russia, whether that be Color Revolution, Civil War or others. | ||
| That's always been their overall plan. | ||
| And so when the Russians see American troops going into Ukraine, that's something that certainly sparked their skepticism, to say the least. | ||
| So it doesn't surprise me that they would have come out and said absolutely not. | ||
| Plus, by the way, the MAGA base, the American First Base, wants no part of another war that has nothing to do with our borders. | ||
| By the way, Steve, I just wanted to call out, I'm not sure if you've seen this yet, the Financial Times is now reporting an exclusive document. | ||
| They're saying they've got the deal that Zelenskyy brought in with him to the White House and presented to President Trump today. | ||
| And he's asking for $300 billion in war reparations from Russia. | ||
| And he wants those frozen assets. | ||
| Yeah. | ||
| That's going to be, oh my God. | ||
| That's going to be a short answer, right? | ||
| Remember the frozen assets we stole from the Russian people. | ||
| Something we didn't do to the Nazis, right? | ||
| In fact, we got them. | ||
| We gave the Nazis a conduit to the world's capital markets. | ||
| That's why we allowed Switzerland to be neutral. | ||
| We have never done this to the Chinese Communist Party. | ||
| We never did it to Imperial Japan. | ||
| We never did it to the fascists in Italy. | ||
| We only stole the assets of the Russian people. | ||
| Yeah, that would be the same people that sacrificed 65 million dead in World War two as our ally and our principal allies, I might remind everyone, not the Bolsheviks, the murderous Bolsheviks. | ||
| I want to go something also they said of the three, but he also tossed $100 billion weapons purchase from the United States. | ||
| Unfortunately, we've got to put the money up, but he'll buy $100 billion worth of weapons. | ||
| This thing's so corrupt, it's unbelievable. | ||
| But I want to go back to what President Trump just put up, Jack, because you kind of get a better feel for this. | ||
| He said, and I think this is the one difference, and this is Trump as dealmaker, that what they've agreed to in the Oval and having these calls and talking to Putin, the parental supervision on the chaperones, that they're actually going to have a meeting just between Zelensky and Putin, a bilat, and then if that goes accordingly, then they'll have a trilat with President Trump as a third hand. | ||
| Your observations on that, sir? | ||
| Well, Steve, that's definitely something new. | ||
| We haven't seen, to my mind, even going back to the Minsk Accords, even going back to Priy Zelenskyy taking office, we've never seen a direct meeting between the leader of Ukraine and the leader of Russia. | ||
| And I certainly could see a lot of fraught, a lot of fraught skepticism from a security perspective, both of these countries. | ||
| I mean, this has been an incredibly brutal war with assassinations after assassinations playing. | ||
| I mean, they they killed Alexander Dugan's daugs daughter, for example. | ||
| So it's been an incredibly brutal assassination campaign with going after civilians, a lot of civilians being killed on both sides here. | ||
| So to see the two leaders meeting one on one, I think would be absolutely remarkable, given how personal this fight has been and how much animosity there has been between the two sides. | ||
| Could President Trump broker it? | ||
| He's the only one who could absolutely broker something like that. | ||
| And it remains to be seen, it does seem as though that's a separate meeting from this trilateral meeting, unless, of course, it may be one of the situations where he's going to be. | ||
| be, because it doesn't, just given the way he's written the tweet, and I don't have anything outside of this, I'm going to work my source chain in a minute here when we get off the show, but it seems as though that seems to be a separate meeting from the meeting of the three of them. | ||

| In fact, he thinks he tries to go out of the way in the true social post. | ||
| Here's my question to you. | ||
| How does Putin do that? | ||
| I mean, one of the things that's pretty obvious, right, he considers himself, like part of the G8. | ||
| Now he's been sent out so he sees the equivalent of, you know, the president of France or the head of Germany or the head of the United Kingdom or President of the United States as at least representatives of their countries or their nation states. | ||
| And he really thinks Xi, president Trump and himself are the three great powers existing in the world how did the president of the United States talk Putin into actually sitting down with Zelensky and giving that's a major that is a major status move for Zelensky to actually be in a meeting one-on-one with Putin representing uh representing uh Ukraine and representing the uh the issues in Ukraine particularly when they're still seemingly pretty far apart on | ||
| a lot of these fundamental issues like like security guarantees like land like you keep mentioning where the if the Russian army is to back up or if they stop right at the Dneper River, how does Putin give a status boost to Zelenskyy, a former actor, right, and comedian, when, when Putin comes out of the KGB and those guys are pretty they're pretty formal, sir. | ||
| Well, Steve, not only that, but I'd point out that there's been there have been a few statements that have come out from not high level, but media, I would say mid tier Kremlin officials pointing out again and again that Zelenskyy is beyond his legal remit, his legal mandate in all mat office. | ||
| And so the Russians have brought up the legalistic and the Kremlin bureaucracy is famously legalistic, bringing up the question of whether or not he has legitimacy to sign any documents with the Kremlin or the United States. | ||
| So huge legitimacy boost for President Zelensky. | ||
| And all, by the way, President Trump had mentioned this earlier, sort of made a joke about it, talking about the fact that Zelensky will have to stand for elections once the cessation of hostilities takes place because martial law will end and his term has ended, of course, President Trump. | ||
| making that joke that's going all over left wing Twitter today, saying, so all I have to do is start a war and I could stay in office indefinitely then. | ||
| Interesting. | ||
| And so it really is, I guess, Steve, when it comes to this, all I'll say is we're getting these very carefully worded statements out from President Trump, but there are the things that he is revealing to us, and I think there's a whole lot more that he has not yet revealed in terms of these negotiations. | ||
| We're just seeing the tip of the iceberg, and when President Trump is in deal mode, that's when you know he's not going to show all his cards until the appropriate moment. | ||
| I certainly wish we had not raised the flag up on alternative number five for Trump 20. | ||

| I want to go back to what the Russians said earlier about the security guarantees in the very careful way that the President of the United States just put it as truth social, talking about they were in the Oval Office after the larger meeting, and he said that the security guarantee would come from the, basically, the nations of Europe, from the European Union with coordination by the United States of America. | ||
| What's your read on that, sir? | ||
| Steve, I'm actually going back and I would take it back to even prior to what we saw today. | ||
| I think this is an explanation because President Navratski of Poland, who is someone that I got to see him at the inauguration, got to see him at CPAC Poland when he was running, he did not attend the meeting today. | ||
| And there were some questions about that. | ||
| He said, why didn't he come? | ||
| He was on the phone call the other day. | ||
| And he referred to this phrase called the coalition of the willing. | ||
| And he said, Poland is not part of the willing. | ||
| We are not part of this coalition. | ||
| So what it seems to me, Steve, is that I think this idea has been in the works for a couple of weeks now. | ||
| We've of course, do you remember when they were talking about that army of the EU a few years ago? | ||
| This certainly was an idea under Angela Merkel and others. | ||
| I think what we're seeing here is the countries that are making the security guarantee are the ones that were in the room. | ||
| And the countries that were not there are the ones that are not going to be participating in this, or at least it's going to be an incredibly controversial part of that. | ||
| Because think about it, they're not referring to NATO. | ||
| They're not referring to the EU. | ||
| EU directly. | ||
| They're calling themselves the coalition of the willing. | ||
| And certainly, you've got representatives of NATO and representatives of the EU, Mark Root and Ursula von der Leyen, who are there, but it's not a full representation. | ||
| So it seems to be that those are the countries that are going to be covering down the brunt of whatever the security guarantee ends up being. | ||
| I think this is probably what has been cooking up and is yet to be revealed probably until this true social post. | ||
| This so Macron has been working on something. | ||
| This is where and of course the EU does have this situation where if you become a member of the EU you get a security guarantee, you're not in NATO. | ||
| Quite interesting. | ||

| Can you expand on that and how important that is? | ||
| Well, that's a very off topic, just very quickly. | ||
| Mail-in ballots are corrupt. | ||
| Mail-in ballots, you can never have a real democracy with mail-in ballots. | ||
| And we, as a Republican party, are going to do everything possible that we get rid of mail-in ballots. | ||
| We're going to start with an executive order that's being written right now by the best lawyers in the country to end mail-in ballots. | ||
| Because they're corrupt. | ||
| And you know that we're the only country in the world, I believe, I may be wrong, but just about the only country in the world that uses them because of what's happened. | ||
| Massive fraud all over the place. | ||
| The other thing we want change are the machines. | ||
| For all of the money they spend, it's approximately 10 times more expensive than paper ballots. | ||
| And Paper ballots are very sophisticated with the watermark paper and everything else. | ||
| We would get secure elections. | ||
| We get much faster results. | ||
| The machines, I mean, they say we're going to have the results in two weeks. | ||
| With paper ballots, you have the results that night. | ||
| Most people almost have but most people It's the most secure forum. | ||
| So between paper ballots, very, very important, paper ballots, and I think maybe even more important, We're going to end mail-in voting. | ||
| It's a fraud. | ||
| Even Jimmy Carter with this commission, they set it up. | ||
| He said, the one thing about mail-in voting, you will never have an honest election if you have mail-in. | ||
| And it's time that the Republicans get tough and stop it because the Democrats want it. | ||
| It's the only way they can get elected. | ||
| Because with men and women's sports and with transgender for everybody and open borders and all of the horrible things. | ||
| And now the new thing is they love crime. | ||
| They're fighting me on the fact that I've made Washington, D.C. safe. | ||

| But it's very hard to cheat with mail-in voting. | ||
| As you know what happens in California, it's so corrupt where some people get five, six, seven ballots delivered to them. | ||
| We got to stop mail-in voting, and the Republicans have to lead the charge. | ||
| The Democrats want it because they have horrible policy. | ||
| If you have mail-in voting, you're not going to have many Democrats get elected. | ||
| That's bigger than anything having to do with redistricting, believe me. | ||
| And the Republicans have to get smart. | ||
| We're not going to have a country. | ||
| I said for a long time at rallies, you need borders and you need free and fair elections. | ||
| Those two things, otherwise you don't have. | ||

| You know, I did a segment on the BBC earlier, and they asked me this question from a MAGA perspective they said you got 20 seconds answer this question does MAGA support having troops on the ground in Ukraine for the the keeping the security a security assurance and I said absolutely not we're all for ending the war But I think as soon as you put American troops on the ground in Ukraine, you do jeopardize their safety. | ||
| So I surely hope whatever agreement they come up with, this security assurance does not include U.S. military troops on the ground. | ||
