April 2nd is a liberating day for our country.
We're going to be getting back some of the wealth that very, very foolish presidents gave away, because they had no clue what they were doing.
And April 2nd, I would have made it April 1st, but you know what April 1st is?
April Fool's Day, I figured.
You know, I don't like doing it, but I made it April 2nd.
It's a liberation day for our country.
Because we're going to be getting back a lot of the wealth that we so foolishly gave up to other countries.
Including friend and foe.
peter navarro
A beautiful industry.
shannon bream
I want to clarify, chickens aside, when you say a tax cut, how exactly is that going to work?
If you're talking about credits for people who are buying new cars, those kinds of things, millions of Americans are not looking to buy new cars, but they are worried about the thousands that are estimated to turn up in their everyday costs for things because the tariff cost has to be passed on by these importers somewhere.
peter navarro
Well, all right, let's work through the economics.
of this.
First of all, we're going to raise about $100 billion with the auto tariffs alone.
What we're going to do is in the new tax bill that has to pass, it absolutely has to pass, we're going to provide tax benefits, tax credits to the people who buy American cars.
This is a genius thing that President Trump promised on the campaign trail.
So that's going to happen.
And in addition, the other tariffs are going to raise about $600 billion a year, about $6 trillion over a 10-year period.
And we're going to have tax cuts.
It's the biggest tax cut in American history for the middle class, for the blue-collar deplorables.
And that is going to, if you look at this, but basically holistically, as they say, consumers and Americans are going to be better off, including all the jobs they get.
And then you have gasoline.
I don't know if you know this, Shannon, but during the Biden administration, gasoline prices were close to 40% higher, a full dollar higher.
andrew ross sorkin
If you take a working family, What do you make of the larger debate that's happened even over the last week or two now in the world that you inhabit, which is the legal world of law firms?
And I'm thinking of Paul Weiss and Skadden, which are settling effectively with the administration.
Other law firms like WilmerHale and Jenner and others that have gone to court and actually won.
Okay. Uh,
unidentified
everybody involved around that.
There's no question that some firms use their prestige and their brand to actually become a subsidiary of the DNC.
And they didn't take on representation of conservative causes and others.
Fortunately, uh, you know, that hasn't been our experience at Latham.
We did work for conservative causes.
Um, and so that's something that is a, uh, is a hot topic that, you know, we'll see how it all shakes out.
andrew ross sorkin
Welcome back to Squawk Box this morning.
BlackRock's Larry Fink releasing his annual letter to investors just moments ago.
It is titled, The Democratization of Investing.
He begins by referencing the anxiety about the economy that many clients feel right now.
His answer to that is, we've been in moments like this before.
In his words, quote, somehow in the long run, we figure things out.
In the letter, Fink shares his ideas on how to help get investors access to new more restricted parts of the market and how to enable more people to invest in the first place.
Specifically, he sees opportunities to expand access to invest in infrastructure.
That's an area, of course, that he's leaned into this year through a series of acquisitions that BlackRock has undergone.
He writes, quote, as we enter our century's second quarter, there's a growing mismatch between the demand for investment and the capital available from traditional sources.
So governments can't fund infrastructure through deficits.
The deficits can't get much higher.
Instead, they're going to turn to private investors.
He also addresses BlackRock's deal to acquire Panama Ports, which faces an antitrust review by China's market regulator.
And Fink predicts by 2040, the global demand for new infrastructure investment will be $68 trillion.
He also makes a call about what he thinks should be the future standard investment portfolio.
And this is pretty interesting, because instead of 60% of stocks and 40% of bonds, Fink now suggests 50% of stocks, 30% of bonds, and 20% in private asset areas that are now the focus for BlackRock's investors.
Okay. If folks had been
in private investments, you would have effectively enhanced your returns by 0.5% annually, which would have created on a cumulative basis something like a 14 or 15% increase in your overall assets at the time of retirement.
So the argument is that private investments have done better over time.
unidentified
What sort of private investments is he talking about?
andrew ross sorkin
I think he's talking about real estate, private equity, all of the things that historically folks have not been able to have access to.
unidentified
That you'd have to be a much higher income.
Crusades, nothing on DEI, ESG, climate change.
andrew ross sorkin
You know, if you really go back and look at the last three years now, he has not really moved in that space.
He had obviously been in that space in a very big way and has turned the opposite direction.
He would say, in large part, he would say, and I know you have other views of this, but he would say that he is always, that the letter that he writes historically has been reflective of what the clients have been talking about and advocating for.
And I think it's true that years ago, there were pension funds, by the way, pension funds especially in Europe and other places, that were pushing a lot of these issues, and that he was, he would say, reflecting of that perspective, And has now, a lot of these issues, he thinks are reflective of what the folks he's talking to.
unidentified
Believe me, he was a willing participant and a zealot.
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
Pray for our enemies.
unidentified
Because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
You're not going to get a free shot on all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big line?
unidentified
MAGA Media.
jake tapper
I wish, in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Vance.
One.
steve bannon
It's Monday 31 March in the year of our Lord 2025.
We could actually start this broadcast right now and we could continue all the way through the seven o'clock hour when we get off of our late afternoon early evening show and I could do nothing but every block hit another major story and we still would not have all the important news of the day.
That is how incredible Not just the news cycle the news cycle is incredible because of the actions being taken in the driver of the action Let me think about oh this guy named Donald Trump The president of these United States so a couple of the cold open magnificent cold open from our ever crack Staff here at the war room my producing staff and also the folks in the folks in Denver that we had the pleasure of doing the show from on from on
Saturday By the way, there were some folks, we had to get to the airport, we had to get a flight.
There were some folks outside the studio.
We didn't have time to do a meet-and-greet, but if you would get to the chat room and let Mo and Grace know who you are, I'll make sure, personally, we touch base.
Really appreciate you guys coming.
A very pleasant surprise, but we were quite late for a plane.
Okay. So many important things there.
Number one, Larry Fink.
The biggest asset manager in the world, trillions of dollars, as you know, driving...
And by the way, Andrew Ross Sorkin's, excuse me, the end is just a more progressive New York Times gobbledygook.
This guy's the driver of climate change, to force climate change through the capitalist system, to make sure the pension funds and the corporations bowed to him.
This guy, though, is a world conqueror.
Also, DEI, the number one guy on climate change, DEI, total surrender.
Total and complete surrender.
You have broken him.
Also, devil is due.
Governors like Governor DeSantis.
These governors really got focused on the pension funds in their state, knowing exactly what was going on.
A team effort, and Larry Fink is broken.
Oh, he just responds to McClellan.
No, he doesn't.
This guy's all puffed up, thinks he's a world, you know, world economic genius, you know, always on Trump's case.
Climate change?
Gone. DEI?
Gone. No longer required.
Remember, he's going to put it in all of his companies.
And even more importantly, he surrendered now on giving access to the masses of the inside deals that everybody else gets.
We're going to go all through that as we're on the eve of Liberation Day.
That was Peter Navarro with the massive tax cut.
President Trump's going to get the middle class and the working class with these massive job Investments coming from these corporations liberation days upon us and you're gonna be shocked shocked shocked When you see the executive order and you see exactly what President Trump's laying out That's why the markets are kind of in turmoil when I say markets in turmoil.
Did I ever mention gold was a hedge?
Do you think I mentioned that on here gold today?
31 16 that would be three thousand one hundred dollars one hundred sixteen dollars Yes, folks for those of you have been with us for a bunch of years and hey What did I tell you?
We're not here to tell you to invest in gold.
What we're here to tell you and teach you at the War Room is the underlying economic and capital market forces and geopolitical forces in the world that drive the search for a hedge against times of financial turbulence, right?
In a geo-economic and geopolitical reset, and that is what Donald John Trump is doing in a massive scale.
That's what happens.
Also, Latham& Watkins, the most powerful, even more powerful than Skadden Arps, I'm told, by the engine room in these law firms, because they're hooked up with Carlisle Group, the private equity swamp in Washington, D.C., right there.
Also, kowtowing to President Trump as he's breaking the builder of nations and the breaker of rogues, Donald Trump.
Let's go to Brian Glenn's at the White House.
Huge day today.
Plus, The Atlantic magazine.
And it's got some snarky stuff in it, but it's got a magnificent profile of Stephen Chung because it calls him the hammer for President Trump, our beloved Stephen Chung, and his motto is relentless aggression.
We know you dig that, Brian Glenn, because you are also a believer in relentless aggression.
What's happening at the White House today, bro?
brian glenn
Well, it's great to be here in the War Room, Steve, on this Monday in the White House as you've laid out in your cold open and the words just now, your intro, it's a big day.
I mean, the world markets are looking at the Oval Office and the Liberation Day that's coming.
Now, there's two sets of EOs today, Steve.
One at one o'clock here, local time.
That is closed to the press.
We don't have any indication what that could be.
But the one everyone's waiting for is at 5.30 here local time.
That is open to the press.
And today we are officially the secondary pool cam in the Oval Office.
So our cameras will be in there.
I will be in there and ready to find out how we can change the world here.
A stroke of a pen and watching the left freak out and listening to all of their analysts talk about what's going to happen is very interesting.
But going back to Stephen Chung, if I could circle back around.
This man has been relentless on the voice of Trump, and he has been relentless on the messaging, the style that he does it, the places he goes, everything from the OTRs to, you know, getting in a trash truck and going down the runway, Steve. The message is on point, and today, in the Oval Office, the world is watching as finally we put America first.
steve bannon
The first two guys I met on the 26th campaign when I took over were the great Andy Sarabian and Stephen Chung.
They were the heads of the rapid, in fact just the heads, they were the entire rapid response department.
Two warriors.
Frick and frack as I used to call them.
And Stephen Chung is the greatest.
He used to be here with us at the War Room.
Many years ago, just an amazing, amazing individual.
Just a hammer.
Always got Trump's back.
And of course, from The Atlantic Magazine, it's got to have snark in it.
But I think that the War on Posse, we've got it up right now on my Getter account.
I think it's a gift so everybody can read it.
I think if not, Grace will help me figure that out.
Brian, hang on one second.
I just got a couple more questions to ask you after a quick break.
We're going to go to France.
Remember, I keep saying their whole purpose of winning these elections in the next couple of days is to take the midterm, impeach Trump, eventually steal the 2020 election and send him to prison.
That's top of their agenda, folks.
Well, guess what?
It's the top of the agenda in Brazil with Bolsonaro, and wait for it, in France today, a blockbuster decision.
Marine Le Pen found guilty of this kind of trumped-up fraud charge.
Open question of whether she can run to be the president of France with the polling just like Bolsonaro She leads in the poll Bolsonaro leads in the poll President Trump all of it the legal global legal profession coming after the right next in the war room It's war on every front economic political psychological,
of course, they got these huge Vote Smart in Florida, one in six.
We're checking with that later in the second hour.
Also, Wisconsin.
So everything now is pitched a battle.
Brian Glenn, today back at the White House, the pressure, folks, you understand this executive order they're working on is quite detailed about what actually they're calling for in about reciprocity.
And my understanding is when you look at the math, when you add in the non-tariff barriers, which you have to, the American people are going to be shocked.
Now, I would have hoped that, and I recommend it, that the White House be more aggressive in rolling this out and explaining to the American people.
What you hear on TV, and this is why we have Spencer on so much, what you hear on TV is 99% just lies, either lies, false narratives, etc.
about tariffs.
Uh, and that suspension is so important.
But the White House, I think, beginning, that's why I think, I think President Trump, the 530 is going to be the executive order, because I think President Trump wants to sit there and explain what Liberation Day is and what reciprocity is.
I believe that is.
I'm not absolutely certain, so I would assume the one he calls you in for is that one.
And if not, he needs to do that.
We need to hear from President Trump.
He did it on the plane yesterday, but we need him in the Oval.
Take in five or ten minutes walking through the EO, I think, my recommendation.
And then, hey, take all covers.
Let the questions flow.
Brian Glenn, the pressure in the White House today is a pressure cooker because global markets are on fire right now, sir.
brian glenn
Yeah, and you know what the timing of this executive order at 530 if indeed That's what it is is obviously after the market So we'll give a day for the markets to kind of have that anxiety.
What's really interesting It's been a relatively slow day along Pebble Beach here in front of the White House press wise I have seen very little normally where we stand for the war room hits There's a lot of journalists around here doing their stand-ups that has probably been pushed to later this afternoon now I will say this I have noticed a lot of activity coming in out of the Roosevelt building here, a lot of cars calling up.
So as you said earlier, I would imagine the revolving door in the Oval Office to meet with President Trump and the phone has probably been pretty active today as every global leader, every CEO, any kind of market analysts have been really wanting to weigh in on this.
Kind of a nationwide campaign, if you will, Steve, of billboards that are slamming tariffs.
And they're all over the South.
I noticed here on Bench, Bus Bench, digital billboards here in D.C. as well.
They're trying to push us, yeah, big time.
And it's sponsored by Canada on the bottom of it.
It's a Canadian economic group there.
Just a mass public relations role on this to basically smear what he's going to do later at 530.
steve bannon
I think you have an eye opener on India and Canada and many other nations, but it's more than just Canada.
You've got the entire neoliberal order.
They're freaking out because they're freaking out seeing how corporate America is responding to this about bringing jobs back.
Hey, Larry Fink, he did talk about protectionism in his letter.
We'll get to more about that, but his surrender on climate change, his surrender on DEI, which is now brazen, and now he's talking about giving investment opportunities I think you're right.
Brian Glenn, how do people get to you?
unidentified
Thank you.
brian glenn
You can follow me at BrianGlennTV on Twitter, on Getter as well, on TruthSocial at Brian.
I'm going to try to do as much behind the scenes as I can on the days that we are the secondary poll, Steve.
What a big honor that is, and we can talk about it in this segment.
The WHCA, the article that just came out, and Steve, you probably push it out on your socials, I'll push it out as well, as big changes are coming here in the briefing room, and perhaps we might be sitting front center sooner than later.
steve bannon
One thing I've argued for years from the time he first took over in 1617, President Trump now, I think he's had a belly full of it.
I think he just had enough of Caitlyn Collins, enough of the Lent, enough of the snark.
He realizes this is not an honest media.
They're enemies of the people.
They're in there, you know, they ask the same cheap shot questions every day.
They're not in a search for truth.
That's what I keep saying.
So that's the case.
Put Caitlyn Collins in the back row.
Let's get some people up front that have an audience.
Let's get some podcasters.
Let's get some streaming services.
Let's get some people who are going to ask decent questions so people can get answers to and get information for their life and for their The understanding of politics, sir, Brian.
brian glenn
Well, Steve, what's going to be interesting is after President Trump lays out this plan, and I think he's going to do it in a very common sense way for Americans to understand about this Liberation Day.
Wait for it.
Someone's going to ask a question about Signal.
Someone's going to ask a question about Zelensky and Putin.
They're going to get off topic because he can explain it in a way that he can dumb it down to a fifth grade level so everyone can understand it.
And if it makes sense to them, let's divert.
Let's put you back on Signal, which I refuse to even talk about anymore.
I think it's a big deal.
distraction, but yeah, you're right.
Today is the day.
steve bannon
Yeah. What to talk about is the Washington Post released a briefing memo of Pete Heggs, about Pete Heggs and the Pentagon, and guess what?
Wait for it.
Taking on the Chinese Communist Party with a three island change strategy and making the Pacific more important.
Hey, gosh, I wonder where we heard that before.
We'll get to that later.
Brian Glenn, you're a hero.
We'll see you this afternoon at the White House over in the Oval.
brian glenn
You got it.
steve bannon
Our Brian Glenn, Real America's Voice, because of the non-stop coverage we give the White House.
And hey, what we do is just cut the camera on, let President Trump in here, all the snarky questions, we just show it.
And that's one of the reasons, not just the massive rise in our audience, but also the appreciation, I think, of other media and the White House over the type of coverage that Rob and Parker Sig are allowing us to have with Natalie and with Brian and Amanda Head, John Solomon, everybody.
Now, I want to go to...
Have you heard about these judges?
Have you heard about the judges?
Right now, the war of the weekend of President Trump, because it's the legal profession, it's the judges and the lawyers, and he's engaged in full-on battle with both.
We'll update that.
Bolsonaro is in court, I think again today, on trial.
They're going to put him in prison.
It's a show trial, and they're going to try to assassinate him in prison.
Today, a bombshell out of France.
At the time, and think about it for a second, Bolsonaro leads in the poll, Marine Le Pen leads in the poll, Donald Trump leads in the poll, Marine Pen found guilty on some trumped-up charge.
The great Jerome Revere is going to join us.
I want to play a short package and then bring Jerome in.
Let's roll it.
unidentified
Folks. Well,
us is our Paris correspondent Hugh Schofield who is at the courtroom.
Lots of developments to bring our viewers.
Hugh, let's start from the beginning.
What is the latest we've heard on the sentence?
Well, we now have, after a very very tense couple of hours, we have a definitive I think?
And this is the key point in all of this.
I think everyone, even she herself, expected to be convicted on the charges.
But the key question was what she would be sentenced to.
And there was a phrase, a legal phrase, which was at the heart of this, which is in French, execution provisor.
If those words were uttered by the president of the court, the judge, it would mean that this period of ineligibility would kick in straight away.
She uttered those words.
The period is five years.
And what that means is that Marine Le Pen cannot run in the next election in 2027.
Barring some legal twist of which I am completely unaware, and I'm not sure anyone can think of one, she can't run in 2027.
And that, of course, is an earthquake.
She's favourite to run in those elections.
favorite in the sense that she's by far the most popular single candidate in the first round of those elections.
It would be her fourth attempt to get the presidency, and at this fourth attempt, she would have the most high chances of winning it because the situation has been working in her favor.
And now, at a stroke, a judge, the judicial system has said, you can't run.
And that clearly has massive implications for her, for her party, but also for people who are worried about French democracy.
It's notable that several political leaders who are her opponents, Opponents have said in the last weeks that they hope she didn't get this automatic ineligibility because they say she's someone who we need to fight at the ballot box, not through the judicial system.
So even her arch enemy, Jean-Luc Mélenchon on the far left, has been saying he thought this possibility of an automatic ineligibility was wrong.
But there it is.
It's happened.
And quite suddenly, I would say almost unexpectedly, because a lot of speculation has been around the fact that the judge would be under pressure to sort of take account of politics and the ambience in the country and so on.
So unexpectedly, Marine Le Pen is suddenly out of the race.
And she's a very angry woman.
We saw her leaving the courtroom about half an hour ago.
She's now at party headquarters with a very, very granite-like face on.
She's been I'm joined there by Jordan Bardella, her kind of deputy, the man who will probably step in if she can't run, and will now therefore probably step in as a presidential candidate, and they'll be formulating whatever response it is that they're going to formulate.
She'll certainly appeal against this, but that won't be good enough because the appeal probably won't happen for a year and a half or so, and there's no guarantee that the appeal would overturn this sentence.
steve bannon
Okay, we're gonna take a short commercial break here.
Make sure you go to Birch Gold.
Jerome's gonna join us on the other side.
Take your phone out.
Text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N at 989898.
Get the official ultimate guide for investing in gold and precious metals in the era of Trump.
You need to understand this.
In times of turbulence for 5,000 years, Gold has been looked at as a store of value and a hedge against financial uncertainty.
Yep. I think the pattern is continuing.
Check it out today.
Short break.
Back to France in a moment.
unidentified
Back to France in a moment.
steve bannon
Remember, I said, I've said last week, I said on Eric Bolling, we did the changeover.
I said it at my speech in Colorado on, what, on Friday night, that they're trying to put Trump in prison, right?
And they hope he dies in prison.
Bolsonaro, they hope he's assassinated in prison.
Marine Le Pen, he got four years in prison today on trumped-up charges.
Jerome Revere joins us.
Jerome, walk us through These charges, because it hasn't gotten a tremendous amount of focus, because honestly, I didn't think it was a real thing.
And I've talked to you and other guys, it didn't seem, it seems this thing was so trumped up and so phony.
Remember, I talked to all my, I ran all the traps in France with you guys over the weekend, and to a person, the most sophisticated people I've known in France said, no, this thing will get some sort of suspended, things like that.
And you, but it shows you, and I said, hey, when these guys got you, they're going to, they're going to use any trumped up thing.
They gave her four years in prison.
They've banned her from running again.
Now I realize there's all kinds of things that can happen, just like with President Trump, but the reality, at least as of now, she can't run for office, and she's leading in the polls, and basically she has four years of jail time.
So tell our audience, what are the trumped-up charges?
How did this kind of come out of nowhere, even to the people that are most sophisticated?
What happened to the, I think there were 10 or 11 other people, 12 people around her that were also charged.
What happened to them, and what does this mean for France?
unidentified
Yes, Steve.
The most flabbergasting part of the decision is that the judges decided that the ban for her to run for election begins today, before she can make an appeal.
So whether she wins in appeal, whether she wins whenever, she's banned from now to be running for the next presidential election in two years.
Basically, the charges against her were that as a member of the European Parliament, she She hired people to work for her.
And instead of these people working in Brussels or in Strasbourg at the European Parliament offices, she brought them in Paris to work at the political parties.
And because she was the president of the party, as other members of the European Parliament did the same thing, she was deemed to have organized a scheme to embezzle the European Parliament.
Those are phony charges.
As you know, when you're a politician, An elected member of the European Parliament, you are a member of the European Parliament even when you are in your own country.
It makes no sense whatsoever.
The actual Prime Minister, Bayrou, was doing the exact same thing.
He went through a trial a couple of months ago and he was found not guilty of the same crime.
So these charges are designed so that she's kicked out of the presidential race.
Just yesterday in the latest poll, she was 12 points ahead of the next person running.
She's far ahead.
She's going to win the next presidential.
She was about to win the next presidential election.
And Macron's boys were very, very far.
steve bannon
Hang on.
I need you.
I need you to repeat this, folks.
This is a global problem.
This is exactly what Trump is facing here in the United States with these judges, these radical judges.
We told you that the legal profession is kind of their last bastion that they own and control, whether it's in Brazil, whether it's in the United States of America, whether it's in France.
In Israel, they got the same thing.
Bibi's trial, I think, was just called off moments ago.
The deep state there, and I realize Bibi's not everybody's cup of tea, but they're trying to take him down.
This is an organized, united front of these Marxist judges.
Once again, she's leading in the polls by how much, and she wants We'll be the next president of France.
And the whole thing, every headline in the Financial Times embezzlement, she had a couple of staffers that were assigned to her in Brussels in the European Parliament.
Of course, all these guys, they all take them back.
They're working at their own headquarters because they're doing the European Parliament stuff when they're in their own country.
And for that, and you remember, European Parliament was where Front National really started to get some traction.
That is what they're calling her for embezzlement, right?
That's the big embezzlement that's outlawed, giving her four years in prison for that, and also banning her from running again.
Jérôme, and how many points is she up, Jérôme?
unidentified
She's 12 points ahead.
She's polling at 37 when the next best one would be polling at 25. So it's the biggest lead she ever had.
Right now, as you know, France is very unstable politically.
Macron has lost all his momentum.
He's trying to Is Ukraine backing up through every type of phony argument that France is at war, is trying to put people together with him?
But in fact, French people do not believe in him anymore.
And Marine appears to be the only possible challenger.
And she's 12 points ahead.
12 points.
Massive lead.
steve bannon
Unbelievable. Jérôme, where do people go for your social media to keep up with this?
Because this story is now starting to explode across Europe and the United States.
unidentified
You can follow me on X at Jérôme, J-E-R-O-M-E, underscore Revere, R-I-V-I-E-R-E.
Thank you.
steve bannon
Jérôme, I'll reach out to you after the show.
Love you, brother.
Keep fighting.
One of the real warriors over in France.
I talk to all these guys, the smartest guys in France.
Nobody said, they said the judge is too radical.
She's up in the polls.
She's leading.
In all likelihood, she'll be this or like a third or fourth time running.
Front National is making, you know, it's the MAGA movement.
It's making progress.
They can't stop it.
Four years in prison.
Four years in prison.
Now, there's all kind of things.
She's not going to have to serve.
She's going to be home confinement.
But hey, they don't want her to run for president.
This is exactly what they're doing to Trump, exactly what they're doing to Bolsonaro.
Ben, Harnwell, I want you to give me some commentary here and then hang around because I'm going to go to Mexico with Burkwan.
We're on the trail of the cartel wars south of the border.
Harnwell, your thoughts.
You're up close and personal to all this.
Is this a united front of these neo-Marxist judges, whether in the United States, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Israel, Germany, wherever?
To basically thwart the populist nationalist uprise across the globe, sir?
ben harnwell
I noticed you used that expression earlier with the excellent, ever excellent Jerome Riviere.
Good morning to you, Steve, by the way.
I'm not sure whether it is a Marxist thing, and I'm the first person in the world to detect cultural Marxism whenever I see it.
I think it's more of a, and I know you have reservations about the term deep state, but But I think it's more of the deep state, the system, wherever it is in the West, trying its final hold up, if you will, if I can use that expression.
Something that you said repeatedly throughout the entirety of your public life, leaning on Andrew Whitebark, who leans on Gramsci, who leans on Nietzsche, is that the culture is upstream of politics.
And what we've seen since, say, 2008, since the financial Um, crisis, inverted commas, is that over the last sort of 15-20 years, the system, this deep state, has lost its hold over the cultural sphere.
And the right, massively, from the Tea Party onwards, through MAGA, dominated the cultural sphere.
So then what happened is that the deep state, the system, retreated to the political sphere, and it lost those fights, we started winning elections.
And now what you see here is this is their final battle.
This is what I would call, Steve, the Custer's last stand of the deep state.
This is where they are going.
They're going to go down.
They will lose this.
But this is their final chance, really, to keep their hold on power.
Why? Why are they there in the courts?
Why is this final battle taking place in the courts?
It's because they are unelected judges when all is said and done.
They are simply state bureaucrats.
State civil servants.
They wear robes.
They may have special titles.
They might sit in courts.
But they are state functionaries.
They're responsible.
It's the state that pays their salary, their pension, their health care.
The final analysis, they are always going to defend that system that pays them.
And that is why, when the system is under threat, they will dig deep down.
And, you know, we also mentioned Romania in the list with Carlin Georgescu, who's also been sidelined by the court, by an elected judge.
So this is what we're going to see.
Now, the question, Steve, is what are we going to do about it?
And I have some theories on that.
steve bannon
I tell you what, hang on for a second.
I want you to hold that.
We're going to put a pin in it.
I'm going to keep you around.
I want to go to Mexico.
I want to go cartel wars and come back to you about potential solutions.
Also, Matt Palumbo, who's Dan Bongino's right-hand man, is going to be with us a little later about this new entity called the Populist Times and also his work taking down the Chinese Communist Party.
But let's go to Mexico.
We've got Ben Berquam and Oscar Blue Ramirez.
Sir, first of all, I want you guys to be safe.
You're down there to cover the cartel wars.
And I just want to tell people the videos that Ben and these guys have are so violent.
We can't even show them.
They literally showed us outside their hotel at the square across the street or just right down the street, a human head that had been cut off as a warning sign.
unidentified
This is the epicenter of the war zone of the cartels between Los Chapitos and Los Mayitos.
This war hasn't been stopped and it hasn't stopped.
Just past week, more than 36 murders have occurred in just one week.
That means that five murders per day.
The murder rate has been increasing.
The insecurity right here in Culiacán is devastating.
It is like a curfew.
People disappear around eight or nine o'clock at night.
They go back to their homes.
You know, it's just a ghost town right here.
This is the epicenter.
And it has been since Donald Trump got into office.
Yeah, and Steve, you're looking at that footage right there.
That was last night.
This is an area of town, historic area of town, that is usually bustling till midnight over the entire weekend.
And as Oscar said, it's a total ghost town.
But as you referenced, where we're standing on this balcony, I can see the corner where the head was left.
This was just last week.
This was a message from the cartel to the people.
If you get in the way of the cartel, this is what's going to happen to you.
And this is the level of violence.
That's why President Trump labeling these guys terrorist organizations is so critical.
They are terrorist organizations.
You don't know if you live here or any of these cartel cities across Mexico, if you're going to walk out with your kids and you're going to see a human head or severed limbs or a body out in front of your house.
That's the level of insecurity to the point where the local police in about 45 minutes are going to be protesting because they're not safe.
Their own government isn't able to keep the police, the local police safe.
That's the level of insecurity down here that the cartels have created.
And that's what we're up against.
That's what the Democrats invited into America.
And that's what the Mexicans are now having to fight, finally.
steve bannon
I want to go back.
I'm going to hold you through the break.
I want to go back to when you say labs, what type of labs, Oscar, are you talking about, sir?
unidentified
Fentanyl, specifically fentanyl.
They just found a massive, the biggest laboratory So this is the way, the way you stop the fentanyl traffic is you're going to interdict it there at the railhead of where the actual labs are?
Yeah, that's right.
In fact, talking to local officials, there's clearly an American presence here.
In fact, some of the operations, there are American drones that are flying over for surveillance.
America is directly involved.
It's clear, again, unofficially on the ground here working with these guys.
And that's what's given them the courage to actually do what they're having to do against the cartels before this.
Basically, the cartels controlled everything.
Now you've got the Mexican government actually going after them.
The big question though is, and I was asking one of the local reporters here, is it going to make a difference?
And his answer to me was, we've arrested a lot of the heads of the cartels.
The problem is there's always somebody to step back up and take that position.
They don't think anything is going to change here until you start arresting the politicians that control the cartels.
And that goes all the way up to the president.
There's a reason why she's protecting El Mayo.
There's speculation that she's getting direct assistance from El Mayo.
There's a lot behind this, but bottom line is nothing's really going to change down here until you get every level of government held accountable for what's going on.
steve bannon
Hang on one second, guys.
Short commercial break we're gonna go back to Mexico about the cartel wars back to Rome about the deep state taking on everybody next in the war room You know folks asked me hey, how do you keep you know, how do you do this all the time seven days a week well One is because of the War Room Posse, the energy you guys exert, that we're honored to do this every day.
But the morning routine has a big old pot of Warpath coffee.
Also, Field of Greens, the real organic superfood.
Go to fieldofgreens.com, ban in 20. You get 20% off.

They got different ways that they taste, but I gotta tell you, there's no additives.
The one that's advertised all the time is not organic.
This process takes a lot longer.
You're gonna feel terrific, and you're gonna get a boost of energy.
How do we get rolling so early here in the War Room?
At 0-dark-30 to talk to Ben Harnwood and all the guys in Europe every day.
People in Asia.
Field of Greens, real organic superfood.
Go to fieldofgreens.com, put in Bannon20, you get a 20% discount.
Check it out today.
Okay, guys.
Mexico is controlled by seven families.
They control the politicians.
It's all a little bit of cosplay.
So what do you mean?
Break this down.
I felt like we finally, with all the focus, it looks like you're going to have some sort of kinetic activity, meaning military.
Where is this all heading?
Because now you're saying arrest the politicians, but the politicians are kind of interchangeable down there, right?
And they kind of do what the cartel—they're not controlling the cartels.
Don't the cartels control the politicians, guys?
unidentified
Yeah, it's kind of a mixed relationship.
So you have both.
There's an influence from the top, as you mentioned, the seven families, but there's also influence within politics as well, just to give you an idea.
So out of the murders that are done here, One in 10, less than one in 10 is actually solved.
When it comes to the DA, so it's not just the politicians, it's not just the president and the governors and the local municipal politicians, the DAs as well.
Most of these crimes, the murders, they don't even try to prosecute.
When it comes to kidnappings, 0%, approximately 0%, around 1% are solved, the kidnappings.
So there's really no punishment for what's happening.
Now, you'll take the head off the snake.
That's the big concern that people have.
Yes, they're going after them.
Yes, President Trump is doing more.
His influence is giving them the courage to go after these guys.
But the big concern is four years, eight years from now, if you don't take out the fundamentals, the foundation that built this entire thing, you're not going to change anything.
That's the big concern.
And as you mentioned, where do you start?
Is it the politicians?
Is it the cartel?
Is it the DAs?
It's every level of society.
steve bannon
So Todd Bensman, his theory of the case is, and you know Todd is a guy at the forefront of this, I think eventually Todd will end up actually in the Trump I think?
because he's so knowledgeable.
He says, hey, there's a two-prong attack.
One prong is what they call the company.
That's the politicians, the lawyers that work with the cartels.
It's the financing.
It's how they do the money laundering.
It's not just how they distribute drugs in the United States, but as they actually turn it into dollars and get the cash back that they can use it.
The other part is the kinetic part, and that is the Mexican military, the federales, and also U.S.
CIA, paramilitary, and eventually U.S.
military.
unidentified
Well, the problem, sir, right here is the way that Mexico is being pushed and Mexico is being handled in this, you know, politically in front of the world, what they're doing is just, they are only attacking two cartels and they're letting one just survive, and that is El Mayo, because You know, the speculation is strong over here.
Speculation is that Mayos Zambada politically funded the campaigns of AMLO, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, and also Clara Sheinbaum, the current president.
So the current seizures of drugs and the current attacks have been only to the CGNG cartel and also to Los Chapitos.
That has been that they are trying to dismantle those two organizations and ultimately, you know, let the other organization prevail.
That is the actual problem.
That's the problem right now, that they're trying to send the message to the Trump administration that they're actually dismantling all the cartels, but it's a complete lie.
That is what they're putting out there.
And Mayo Zambada still looks like he controls the country's decisions, and also he controls the dirty politicians, that that is the other problem that we have in Mexico.
That is the real cartel, the ones that they wear the suit and the tie.
steve bannon
Wow. Ben Berquam, your coverage, you and Oscar's coverage over the next couple of days, I don't want to give out where you're going to be because we may not end up seeing you.
That's how dangerous it is.
But just give us a sense of why you and Oscar are down there, where you're going to be going this week.
unidentified
Well, this is the epicenter of what's happening.
So you have to go, you know, Sinaloa is where a lot of this violence that we see even on our streets of America comes from.
So we're coming down here to expose that.
We're going to be heading to different locations around here.
to another undisclosed location to show what's actually happening here.
But to Oscar's point, this is analogous to what's happening in America.
The same thing is true.
If we don't take care of the activist judges, the traitors judges in America, we're never gonna get to the bottom and restore our country.
The same thing is true here.
We have to get to the bottom of it and hold the politicians accountable, get the bankers involved as Todd Bensman has talked about.
So we're gonna be doing that.
You can follow us, you can follow me on Real America's Voice.
We'll be reporting all week long from there.
Thanks to our sponsor, Patriot mobile for all the work use promo code grab when you do that or war room I don't know our band and I forget which one we're using right now, but Patriot mobile either way use it So we'll be down here covering that hitting different spots as we go and my social media is at Ben Burquam on everything Oscar blue, where do we get you sir?

Very dangerous what you guys are doing, but needed.
You're patriots and heroes.
Thank you guys.
unidentified
Yes, sir.

steve bannon
