That the sanctions were not fulsome enough.
I believe that we...
I believe that the previous administration was worried about raising U.S. energy prices during an election season.
And I am perplexed to see that...
National Security Advisor Sullivan, on his way out the door, is raising the sanctions level on Russian oil companies.
And indeed, the oil prices in the U.S. are up about 9% this month.
So what was good for that administration is being foisted on us.
scott bessent
But having gone from, I think, low-level sanctions to mid-level, Any officials in the Russian Federation are watching this confirmation hearing, they should know that if I'm confirmed and if President Trump requests,
unidentified
and as part of his strategy to end the Ukraine war, that I will be 100% on board for taking sanctions up, especially on the Russian oil majors, to levels that would bring The Russian Federation to the table.
The more you reduce carbon, the bigger your tax savings.
Now there is a big effort in the Trump administration to reverse it.
I think that's going to be bad for the economy, but it is going to be damn good for China because we are in an arms race on clean energy with them.
Are you going to be on the side of people who want to unravel this?
Senator Wyden, just so we can frame this for everyone in the room.
China will build 100 new coal plants this year.
There is not a clean energy race.
There is an energy race.
China will build 10 nuclear plants this year.
That is not solar.
I am in favor of more nuclear plants.
And I would note that the IRA, as scored by the CBO, is wildly out of control in terms of spending on the upside.
I believe these tariffs, you can call it whatever you want in terms of trying to gussy it up.
They're going to be paid for by our workers and small businesses.
All through the campaign, we heard they weren't, that foreign countries were going to pay it.
I think that's baloney.
It's going to be paid for by workers and small businesses.
So, your response.
Yes, Senator, I would respectfully disagree.
And the history of tariffs and tariff theory, optimal tariff theory, does not support what you're saying.
Traditionally, we see that the current, if we were to say use a number that has been thrown around in the press of 10%, then traditionally the currency appreciates by 4%.
So the 10% is not passed through.
Then we have various elasticities.
Consumer preferences may change.
And finally, foreign manufacturers, especially China, especially China, which is trying to export their way out of their current economic malaise, will continue cutting prices to maintain market share.
He basically offered up an academic...
Mumbo-jumbo to try to justify the Trump across-the-board tariffs that are going to clobber our workers and our small businesses.
I think President Trump recognizes that there is no such thing as free and fair trade, especially with China that cheats routinely and doesn't play by the rules.
They're talking about Canada and Mexico, too.
Well, we've got a free trade agreement with both of those, and so any tariffs would be bound by that.
We're going to trade around the world.
We're going to continue to trade with China.
We're going to continue to trade with Europe, with Africa.
You know, unless we've got sanctions on them, like Russia, we're not going to trade with them.
And those last two comments coming from GOP senators showing you that they are not concerned with Trump's threat to impose these widespread tariffs, even though many of them have been opposed to the idea of tariffs and have supported the idea of free trade for many years in the past.
But, Brianna, this also just shows how many of Trump's nominees are almost certain to get the job.
One person, though, to watch out for is Tulsi Gabbard, Donald Trump's choice to be the next director of national intelligence.
She has views that contradict and conflict with some views, including from the former Senate Republican leader, the current senator from Kentucky, Mitch McConnell, who I just asked moments ago if he's ready to support Tulsi Gabbard.
And, Brianna, he said, quote, I have not made any announcement on that yet.
And that came after he gave This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you've tried to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big line?
unidentified
Mega Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, Thursday, 16 January, Year of the Lord 2025.
Fall.
Total beatdown today.
unidentified
They call him Beast Besant.
steve bannon
That was the varsity versus the junior varsity.
Let me just put in perspective the confirmation in the preamble to the Days of Thunder.
Folks, you worked for this for four years, and it's pretty amazing how impressive it is.
Remember, the Senate is, well, you have all the clowns and you have the AOCs and the squad and all these people running around trying to get the microphone and you got Goldman and you don't have a lot of Hakeem Jeffries.
The Pelosi Democrats in the House are not known for intellectual heft.
The heft of the Democratic Party, the critical mask of their kind of, in the political class, Their brains, because they've got all the think tanks and all the universities, the faculties, but where you take that and apply it to affairs of state is in the United States Senate.
This has been an unfair matchup this weekend.
Scott Bessett, and I'm so proud of Scott, and particularly the team.
We know a lot of people on the team around him that put this together and prepped him, went through the murder boards, got everything together.
This was a massacre today.
You could tell, here's when you know it's working for us.
Number one, when MSNBC doesn't go live to a hearing, it's working for us.
They went live to the Pete Hegseth because they couldn't help themselves the other day.
When they're not following a hearing live in TV, really MSNBC more than CNN and the New York Times are saying they're tweeting it out every 30 seconds.
Or The Guardian, you know you got them.
The Democrats on the panel with Besson started to leave.
The questions were juvenile.
The questions showed a sophomoric understanding of economics.
And with Scott, you're talking about one of the bigger brains on Wall Street.
A macro guy.
And remember today, they were going to chop him up on Trump's tax cuts.
They were going to chop him up on trade and tariffs.
How are you going to finance that?
The deficit, the debt.
As you've seen Scott on the show many times, it was a tutorial to make complex ideas accessible to the everyday man and woman.
But the Democrats wanted to come up with an agenda and tried to chop block him and just got blown up every time.
Pam Bondi has a different style.
Same way.
Pete Hexas, different style, same thing.
Marco Rubio, different style, same thing.
We are now, and you got EPA, you had Zeldin at EPA, you had Duffy at Transportation.
We're now grinding through this thing of the, because I'm going to ask my crack staff, I don't think there's any hearings tomorrow.
I think it's, I think the last, check it out, maybe another day, a following day for somebody, but I think Thursday, it was Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, because a lot of these senators are going to, particularly Democrats, are going to get out of town.
This was full.
We owned them this week.
And I want to give a hat tip to the transition team and to the White House, the incoming White House staff.
This took a lot of coordination.
When you flood the zone, man, you've got these things juggling.
You're juggling murder boards.
You're juggling preparation, paperwork, all of it.
There was a few slowdowns.
We could have gotten a Bobby Kinnis.
unidentified
Christy Noem.
steve bannon
Christy Noem.
She was late.
Christy Noem tomorrow.
See, I don't like these doing solos, but hey.
Christy Noem can handle it.
Christy Noem was supposed to be on Wednesday, I think, and she got bumped for paperwork, but Christy's going to go tomorrow.
Good, bring it on.
Also, this is also, I think, worthy of note.
This is not just...
Typical Republicans coming in with little shades or gradations of what's going to change.
These are fundamental changes of the MAGA kind of populist, nationalist, America First philosophy.
And what do I mean by that?
And you can tell this has been years in the making.
This has been, you know, the America First Institute, Priorities Institute, our Policy Institute with Brooks.
This is...
Project 2025. The project that shall not say its name.
It's with Senator DeMint and his group at CPI. Many others.
At least a half a dozen groups who have been doing both policy work and personnel work.
This just didn't come out of nowhere.
The Democrats never took this seriously.
unidentified
Why?
steve bannon
Because they never thought Trump would win.
unidentified
Okay?
steve bannon
Never thought Trump would win.
Never thinking Trump would win is going to be a mantra to today's show because I'm going to get to in a minute the oligarch situation.
And nobody's addressed this, I think, as fervently as I have, but we're going to put a pin.
We're going to puncture the hypocrisy of Biden in this clique.
These policies and the way these people are trained and think of the world just didn't happen overnight.
And that's where the Democrats have no response to it.
They have response to the Republican version of the Washington consensus or the Republican version of neocon neoliberalism or neoliberalism, the neoliberal neocon worldview.
They don't have a response to this.
They haven't done the work.
Their staffs haven't done the work.
And they haven't given you enough respect to want to do it because they didn't think you were going to win.
They never thought that Marco Rubio would be up there as Secretary of State.
They never thought that Pete Hexens would be up there as Secretary of Defense.
They never thought Scott Besson would be up there as Secretary of Treasury.
They never thought that Pam Bondi would be up there as the Attorney General of these United States.
And Kristi Noem DeMar as Department of Homeland Security.
They never thought that in a billion years.
So why study it?
Why look at it?
Why pay him any attention at all?
If you notice in the campaign of Kamala Harris and Biden, they never take on the ideas of the America First movement.
They never take on the ideas of MAGA. As you know, we are huge believers here in the world.
Ideas have consequences.
Ideas have consequences.
And our ideas are the right ideas.
Because they comport with both human nature and common sense and what's best for this republic and her citizens.
This week you had Marco Rubio with a fundamental changing of how America not just looks at the world, how they interact.
They say, hey, the post-war international rules-based order is dead.
It's died by the greed and avarice and incompetence and malfeasance of the global elites, and particularly the elites in the United States and in London.
And in Western Europe.
He laid out a new vision and there was no response.
Go back and look at the questions.
There's no response.
Pete Heggs is talking about infusing the Pentagon and our military to get away from the bureaucratic, technological, military-industrial complex and restore the warrior ethos.
The warrior ethos, which once installed will change everything, including Not just simply how you fight wars.
What do you fight wars with?
Scott Besson today laid out, really, Trump's MAGA economic and financing.
They're two things.
An economic policy and then how you finance it.
No response.
People, I think it's in Oregon.
Wydens, conservatives out there, you got humiliated today.
That was embarrassing.
He's a goofball.
Look, when you don't know what you're talking about, Don't sit there in front of the world because every capital market guy, everybody's watching that because they want to see what the Secretary of Treasury thinks.
unidentified
Know what they came away from that?
steve bannon
Trump's a pretty smart guy.
Confident guy.
He's got a Secretary of Treasury that is perfect casting.
Calm, discernment, but unmovable on the principles underlying economics and finance.
Powerful day.
The third day in the confirmation process.
And I will tell you, folks, I'm not quite tired of winning, but really, what a day.
Short break.
joe biden
Farewell just tonight.
I want to warn the country of some things that give me great concern.
This is a dangerous concern, and that's a dangerous conversation of power in the hands of a very few ultra-wealthy people.
The dangerous consequences.
If their abuse of power is left unchecked.
Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power, and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms, and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead.
We see the consequences all across America.
And we've seen it before, more than a century ago.
But the American people stood up to the robber barons back then and busted the trusts.
They didn't punish the wealthy, just made the wealthy pay by the rules everybody else had.
rachel maddow
When we saw the White House today release what they call the letter, but was really about a hundred plus page long book explaining his his view of his own accomplishments during this term.
I had wondered, OK, well, they're not taking a lot of time in this speech.
They have spelled out the...
The list of accomplishments in writing ahead of this speech.
So maybe this speech is going to be for something else.
Maybe this is going to be a warning.
I did not expect it to be this stark.
As you said, he said, tonight there is an oligarchy taking shape in America.
Dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a very few ultra wealthy people.
A tech industrial complex that poses real dangers.
He talked about a tide of misinformation and disinformation enabling the abuse of power.
Not just saying misinformation and disinformation are bad on their own, but why are they there?
They are there to enable the abuse of power.
He talked about the free press crumbling, which put a shiver down my spine.
And then talked about how truth is being sacrificed for lies for the purposes of power and profit.
So this is important because he has essentially decided not to brag on the way out about what he did.
He did a little of that.
But really, he's taken this last moment to say, here is what we've got right now, and this is why.
This is not just dangerous because it doesn't sound American.
It's dangerous because this is what they're doing to you with this oligarchy, with this concentration of power, with what they're doing to the press and the truth.
And that is stark and sober, and like I said, it put a chill down my spine.
I think he's correct, and I'm glad he took this time to say it.
bernie sanders
When you have a small number of multi-billionaires who have enormous economic, media, and political power, would you agree with President Biden, who last night stated, and I quote, "An oligarchy is taking shape in America "of extreme wealth, power, and influence "that threatens our entire democracy, "our basic rights, and freedoms."
That's what President Biden said last night.
I agree with him.
Do you?
unidentified
Senator Sanders, I enjoyed our visit.
bernie sanders
Talk a little bit closer into the mic.
unidentified
I enjoyed our visit, and I hope you got my follow-up materials on the discussion, my previous writings on the tariffs and China.
And look, the three billionaires who you listed, they all made the money themselves.
Mr. Musk came to the country as an immigrant.
bernie sanders
I understand that, but what I'm asking you is when you have a handful of people like Musk, who will soon be part of the Trump administration and others.
When you have three people owning more wealth than the bottom half of American society, when these people have enormous influence over the media, when they spend huge amounts of money in both political parties to elect candidates.
What Biden said last night is we're moving toward an oligarchy.
I'm asking you that question.
Do you think, forget how they made their money, do you think that when so few people have so much wealth and so much economic and political power that that is an oligarchic form of society?
unidentified
Well, I would note that President Biden gave the Presidential Medal of Freedom to two people who I think would qualify for his oligarchs.
bernie sanders
This is not a condemnation of any one individual.
I'm just asking you, when so few people have so much wealth and power, do you think that that is an oligarchic form of society?
unidentified
Senator, I think it depends on the...
The ability to move up and down the...
bernie sanders
No, that's not really the answer.
I mean, even if you had that mobility, no matter who those individuals might be.
All right, but let me ask you another question.
steve bannon
Okay, I want to play that last one.
Questions for the audience.
Is Donald Trump taking power yet?
I know he's acting like the president because people were referring to the president, foreign leaders, business leaders, cultural leaders, all of it.
Why are they doing that as a sub?
Why are people doing that?
Because they realize Biden's illegitimate and has been illegitimate because Biden stole the 2020 election.
Let me just go back to one of my favorite topics because in the war room, we are right.
Oh, by the way, for the war room being the ones that pounded that and pounded that and now have, I don't know, 60%, almost two-thirds of people that are registered Republicans believe.
That the 2020 election is stolen because of how we've pounded it and put evidence out over years and years and years and they've seen with their own eyes.
And now an increasing amount of Democrats and I think almost 50% of independents.
They couldn't wait to toss this guy out.
With everything President Trump is doing and, you know, the trappings of power and he's acting like a boss, as Cain would say.
He is acting like a president, but he doesn't have the formal power.
He will have that at high noon on Monday when he takes an oath to heaven that he will faithfully perform his duties and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
Foreign and domestic.
In the last four years, has President Trump had that power?
No, he has not.
This is President Trump that they tried to send to prison with 92 felony charges.
President Trump in a kangaroo court found him guilty of 34 felonies.
President Trump who they tried to bankrupt.
President Trump who they tried to assassinate not once but twice.
President Trump, they went after his business empire and his family and just lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit.
And you read the Jack Smith thing the other day.
It's a nothing burger.
So answer the question, audience.
Has President Trump had any power the last four years?
And even as President of the United States, the peace and prosperity he brought with the administrative state and deep state every single day, of which we know were phony on him, did he truly have unlimited power?
In his first administration, what the administrative state and deep state took from him, fought him every inch of the way, and still had peace and prosperity.
The answer would be no.
So when Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden are sitting there just going off on oligarchs and oligarchy and oligarchy, who's had the power and allowed it to happen?
You.
unidentified
You, you, you.
steve bannon
This festered...
Because the Democratic Party wanted an oligarchy.
They wanted an oligarchy.
The tax increases on the wealthy.
In the first 30 days of Biden's only term, illegitimate regime's only term, they put forward the tax policy and never even got a committee hearing.
It was all performative.
Why?
The nascent oligarchs didn't want it in the donor class of the Democratic Party.
The Democratic Party is a billionaire, multi-billionaire donor class, lords of easy money on Wall Street, the tech oligarchs, right?
These are all Democrats.
They're all Democrats.
They're all Democrats.
We in this show are banned on every one of their platforms.
On YouTube, on Facebook, on Spotify.
On Instagram, on Twitter.
Oh, they put you back up on Twitter.
We haven't stepped into that.
We're banned everywhere by those guys.
And Biden and those guys were comfortable with it.
They loved it.
Look what we know from the FBI. Look what we know from DHS. Look what Darren Beattie and Natalie Winters and Raheem Kassan have shown you over and over and over again why it has to be in a criminal investigation.
They had FBI. They were inextricably linked state and crony capitalist power to create oligarchs.
That's if we had lost, it would continue on the 10th power.
Let me repeat again.
President Trump and MAGA have had no power.
None.
Zero.
The concentration of power for these individuals came on your watch.
It is a creation of you.
unidentified
And Rachel Maddow, it sent tingles down my spine.
steve bannon
I shouldn't do that.
Her voice is deeper.
unidentified
It sent tingles down my spine.
steve bannon
Chills down my spine.
Is that what it did, Rachel?
Is that what happens in the Maddow household?
You get chills, tingles.
I haven't seen you ranting about this until November 5th, ma'am.
A little bit on Elon because he kind of broke out.
I'm not defending the oligarchy at all.
I'm the one that's taking it on.
Okay?
What I'm saying is those that created it.
Those that nurtured it.
Those that wanted it.
Biden.
You're almost too hapless to be evil.
It's such a clown factor.
The whole thing, you go to the Pentagon today, out there you think it's Kaiser Wilhelm showing up.
People at attention, sailors, his farewell address to the Pentagon.
Why don't you go out to Arlington National Cemetery to those 13 dead that you murdered.
In Afghanistan, why don't you give your farewell address to them?
Why don't you sit over their graves and give your farewell address?
Get their parents out there too, and their husbands and wives and their children.
Why don't you do that?
Show me what a tough guy you are.
Don't go to the Pentagon.
Everybody's sitting there at attention, the troops and everything, disgusting, revolting.
The farewell address will be Washington.
unidentified
You...
steve bannon
Created these oligarchs.
You nurtured these oligarchs.
You wanted these oligarchs.
Short break.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
steve bannon
They created these oligarchs because they never thought we'd win.
They never thought we'd come back.
And now, instead of ever saying, oh, they got, you know, 10 of them are going to be up there.
I've just put up on Getter the...
It's like a trophy case.
They're not in charge.
President Trump's in charge.
President Trump's broken these guys.
They're running down to Mar-a-Lago like little boys.
He's broken these guys.
Look at Zuckerberg.
Do I agree with him?
No, I think Zuckerberg's a criminal.
I think Zuckerberg's got to be criminally prosecuted for the Zuckbox and other things.
God knows.
Right?
We're going to get to all that.
Being up on that stage means nothing except for the fact he's like a display truck.
He's like Teddy Roosevelt going in and seeing the big wild beast he used to shoot in Africa.
In sub-Saharan Africa, out on the northern plains.
He's got a big old buffalo head.
Instead of a buffalo head, he's got Tim Cook, Tim Apple.
They're going to be sitting in the back of President Trump, probably behind the cabinet or near the cabinet.
They're going to be on display.
Trump bagged and tagged them.
They're all there to pay homage.
Homage.
Because he broke them.
None of them were on our side.
None of them.
Elon started to come over after he brought Twitter and he saw what a mess it was.
He saw what they had done to it.
Not saying he's a free speech.
Absalom is farthest from the thing.
Ask Laura Loomer and others.
But he saw the corruption.
Was it called the woke mind virus?
He saw that.
The others didn't.
Bezos owns the Washington Post.
I rest my case.
More haters over there.
Now Bezos is trying to wash his hands of it.
They're leaving by the hundreds.
He's letting them go.
The top best ones are going over to the Atlantic.
Bezos is terrible.
But he's got to have them government contracts because he's going to be up there paying homage.
Right?
Tim Cook's going to be there.
Doesn't want those tariffs.
Doesn't want the tariffs from products made in slave labor by slave labor in China.
He's going to be trying to get something.
Got it.
He's at the trough.
I got it.
But he's on display, bagged and tagged.
Zuckerberg, who put a half a billion dollars of his own money to defeat Trump and then lied about it.
And then lied about it.
He may be the most dangerous at all.
I don't know.
I do agree.
They've created oligarchs that are techno-feudalists.
It's a problem.
It's a problem we're going to have to deal with.
But the problem, Donald Trump did not start that problem, didn't agree with it.
They came after him to destroy him because they were instruments of democratic rule.
Don't believe me.
Let's go back to their tax.
They're going to tax the wealthy.
They're going to do this.
If you're a Democrat, if you're a working class person, you're a Democrat, you're a sucker.
You're a sucker.
They created this.
Why'd they create it?
Because they could use it.
They could use it for ultimate power.
They could use that collection of nerd.
They didn't mind nerd rule.
They try to impose nerd rule on you in the pandemic.
They like nerd rule.
Remember a guy named Tony Fauci?
Is that a name ringer bell?
Is that a name ringer bell, a little dictator?
They dig this.
They don't care how many lives are destroyed.
Look what they did in social media.
Look what they did in deplatforming people.
It was so egregious.
This is what flipped Elon Musk.
After he got in, they started looking around the company.
And got rid of the executives that were the worst case, working with the FBI and others.
No, Biden, last night, we have no power and we've had no power.
It was on your watch.
Rachel Maddow, did that send us, I hope this sends a tingle down your spine.
Send a chill down my spine.
Why don't we send this down your spine?
You and MSNBC are one of the reasons for this.
All you would do is praise these guys and praise them over and over again and all the misinformation, all the terrible people they were throwing off, all the white nationalists, all the COVID deniers, all the election deniers on and on and on and on.
And why have they dropped all the things?
Because they understand it wasn't misinformation.
It was actually information.
And the American citizens weighed and measured it.
See, they think you're too stupid.
No, we've got to form the information.
We have to tell them.
We have to tell them.
We have to spoon-feed.
They ain't got to spoon-feed this audience.
Shove your spoon up your keister.
You created it.
And we have to deal with it.
And it will be dealt with.
But right now, President Trump's going to have them up there.
You know why?
They're all free speech platforms.
Everybody's up on most of them, Twitter being the exception.
But hey, it's Katie Barr the door.
Man, think what War Room could do.
We're banned everywhere, and we don't care.
I'm not calling Facebook.
Hey, we put us back up.
I'm not calling these guys.
We put us back up.
We don't care.
People will find great content.
This is why we're one of the top-rated podcasts.
We're nowhere.
You got to search to find us.
We bury the bone a little deeper.
We want the dogs to dig.
Got to show some energy.
Not just going to serve it up.
Nicole Wallace, she's about to crack Got a big old tear coming down.
Those oligarchs.
Nicole, you had the pom-poms out for four years.
Remember, folks, they're only doing this because they lost.
They never thought we'd be back.
They thought they'd buried us.
They thought they'd de-banked us, took the credit cards away, took the de-platform, remember that?
De-platform, demonetized all the Ds, the killer Ds.
Guess what?
It didn't kill.
It just made us stronger, more resilient.
Because that's what matters.
And we believed in this cause, and we believed in a man.
You know why?
Because he had the moral courage to come back, understanding everything that you guys would do to him, and he didn't care.
That's power.
That ain't playing around with some algorithm.
That's power.
Moral courage connected to then physical courage, as you saw in Butler.
That's power.
That's a gladiator.
That's something young men will follow.
And young women will listen to.
That's where we're here.
That's where we're victorious.
That's where we have the confirmations.
And look what he's brought.
Look at Rubio.
How good he's been.
One of the biggest neocons in the Senate.
Look at that hearing the other day.
Look at Pete Hexeth.
They mocked Pete.
Some guy sits on a curvy couch on weekends because he can't show up to work every day during the week.
Look how magnificent he was yesterday.
Cool as a cucumber.
Answering one response after the other.
Look at Ratcliffe.
Look at Russ Vogt.
Look at Scott Besson.
You won two masterclasses on the American economy and how we dig our way out of here by two serious gentlemen, not the group of clowns over there on the Democratic side.
Note to self, Democrats, take number two, pronounce the Latin, write this down.
You are not going to take back this country and govern it with the team that you're representing in the United States Senate.
It is a sea of mediocrity.
Not big intellects.
Not impressed.
And you guys know you have a problem.
That's why there were empty seats yesterday and Pam Bondi's looked like half the audience in the back was gone because they knew she wasn't going to crack.
All they're there for is to see them crack.
And that's why you see no footage because the footage doesn't dovetail into their narrative.
A new way of thinking about...
A new way of thinking about America's relationship to the world and the world's relationship to the United States.
A new thinking about what it is to have access to this country.
Of what external revenues are.
Of how people should get access to this market behind the golden door.
The market that is the United States of America.
A new way of thinking about intelligence.
A new way of thinking about revolutionary and military affairs.
The infusion of the warrior ethos.
By people who served in combat and served in these wars, these forever wars.
A new way of thinking, a new way to look at things.
Like maybe the frontiers of the United States for defense purposes are from the Panama Canal, the Darien Gap, up to the Arctic Circle.
And maybe we take Abraham Mahan's strategy and maybe we actually apply it.
To the Western Hemisphere.
Maybe we apply it up all the way to Greenland.
And we thwart one of the biggest threats to the United States of America.
The KGB's Russian Navy.
Particularly its submarine forces.
The same way he thinks of tariffs and trade.
And the centrality of trade in a nation that trades.
The centrality of trade in the economy.
And what do they fall back on now?
Oligarchs, concentration of wealth and power.
Okay, Obama started it with his version, the Geithner version of getting us out of trouble in the 2008 collapse.
That's what started the great concentration of money, of wealth, that led to the concentration of power.
And then, during Trump's first term, When you saw how we had used Facebook and other platforms, even Twitter, in 16, you had a meltdown in Silicon Valley.
Mike Benz and Darren Beatty were going to do a big movie about it.
We walked through and spent hours looking at the footage.
They had to go into, as soon as Trump won on the 3rd of November, they had to have these sessions, these trauma sessions at the headquarters of all these places.
To walk people back off the ledge?
Because the evil one Trump had won.
unidentified
The evil one had won.
steve bannon
And that's why in Trump's first term, they all turned against us violently.
And the Democrats used that and used that and used that.
And the way they stole the 2020 election and suppressed the information from the laptop from hell for everything, the phony mail-in ballots, what's social media?
It's your baby.
We have nothing to do with it.
We have absolutely no power there whatsoever.
And then in the Biden years, you've won it more and more and more.
Just not because Trump being defeated wasn't enough.
You had to spike the beast and you had to destroy this movement around him.
You had social media do it, and you made them wealthy.
unidentified
You're the ones that created the oligarchs.
steve bannon
And now we're the ones that have to deal with it, and it will be dealt with.
It will be dealt with.
But we don't need your whining, and we don't need your gnashing of teeth, and we don't need you pulling your hair out.
And Bernie, we don't need you sit there, you're a hapless old man, you had two shots of the Clintons, and all you did was a Pella fight.
You're a gutless, hapless old man.
Oh, minimum wage, minimum wage.
You did nothing.
You had two shots at Hillary Clinton and you lost both times and it wasn't even close.
You're a quitter and you're a loser and you're gutless.
Do not sit there with Scott Besson and lecture him on what an oligarch is.
You created it.
Anybody that's a Bernie bro and still follows that guy, you're an idiot.
The Democratic Party The political class and the donor class in back of it created the oligarchy and nurtured it because it worked for them as part of their governing model, as part of their business model.
And guess what?
A populist nationalist movement led by a man of moral courage and physical courage turfed you out.
And now you have the gall to sit there and go, oh, these guys are just all oligarchs, all Brayson oligarchs.
Your performance in these confirmation hearings show me you're not a worthy opponent.
You really have been gutted.
You really are wandering in the desert.
No leadership.
No intellectual leadership.
No chutzpah.
unidentified
No spark.
steve bannon
short break.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
steve bannon
Birchgold.com is bringing this to you.
Make sure you go to Birchgold.com.
Particularly, you saw Scott Besson and Russell vote the last two days.
Let's get up to speed and as smart as they are.
Go to the end of the dollar empire.
Make sure you check out the fifth or sixth free installment.
You're going to need to understand this.
Read them all because it's all about debt and deficits all leading up to this, which is modern monetary theory.
That explains kind of the idea about...
You're going to deal with the consequences?
This will explain the idea of how you got there.
This kind of radical idea that came out of France.
And we're going to pay for it.
A lot.
Because the lords of easy money on Wall Street and the half-witted political class here in Washington.
So he just kind of bought into it.
Yep.
Deficits don't matter.
We can run up.
And if inflation ever gets to be a problem, we just raise taxes.
Easier said than done.
But you have to understand it.
We make it very accessible.
Also, you can get to Birch Gold if you want to talk about 401ks, IRAs, all of that, what I call the instrumentality of how you get into precious metals.
There's many different ways.
Just take Bannon, text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, at 989898. Mike Lindell, brother, you're up and you're up early.
We'll get you in.
Tell me about the crosses.
David, is it Pac-Man?
What's his name, Pac-Man?
Was he making fun of you today?
Was he hurting Mike Lindell?
Was he being a bully to you?
mike lindell
He was up to his old tricks.
You guys, he's the most evil, probably podcaster that ever walked the planet.
I went on there, I'm trying to, just to get the word out on different things that I'm still out there fighting for election platforms.
And Steve, he kept trying to bring it back to, what was there a fraud in this election, Mike?
Your buddy Donald Trump, he kept doing that.
And then I told him about this being my 16th year anniversary of quitting all crack cocaine and alcohol and that, he did.
He just kind of brushed that off and then every question he had, he goes, quit giving me a filibuster.
I'd give him an explanation like, don't you care about your country?
Don't you care?
I mean, and I turned it in, it was almost becoming my interview, but you guys will have to all check that out.
I think I held my own against that evil guy, but we'll wait and see what he puts up.
I was on there two other times and he didn't do any cuts, so it'll be interesting to see if he cuts it out.
steve bannon
Mike talks, they're all upset.
Pacman's all upset.
He was on my kid sister about when she was trying to get the satanic clubs out of schools, right?
Right.
She still worked up over that.
She still worked up over that one.
But is he upset about you selling crosses on War Room?
mike lindell
I'm sure he is.
The rest of the media is.
I've gotten about six different calls about selling the crosses I wear.
It's like, okay, everybody asked for him.
And I told Pacman too, I said, before all this election stuff, I said, I was a crack cocaine addict.
When I came out of that, I went to prisons like I did two weeks ago, and speaking out to help addicts get from addiction to finding Jesus Christ.
He did not want to hear that, let me tell you.
I mean, it's like, what's so bad about that, of getting off of addiction?
And people ask for the crosses, but no, he's not real happy with the war room posse.
I don't know.
Maybe just you, Steve, for having me on here to sponsor the show and help sell the crosses.
They're made in the USA. There's women's and men's, everybody.
And it's a product that everybody asked me for.
And we were gonna use it originally for the LyndellRecoveryNetwork.org and to do them over there.
And I said, you know what?
The public's asked for them.
Let's bring it to the public.
And I'll tell you what, when I spoke at that prison, do you know how many of the prisoners that had crosses and they're wearing them outside of their shirt?
It's like, you can be proud of your Christianity.
You know, back when I was taking the phone calls, back in the day in 2010 and 11, where I was the only one taking calls, and they're going, you're only wearing that cross to sell pillows.
And I would literally send them pictures of me wearing my cross in the crack houses because I've always worn my cross wanting to be that person.
And so I'd sit there and witness to them.
steve bannon
Mike Lindell, hang over a second.
You started Frank's Speech in Lindell TV because you were banned and cut off of all social media platforms, essentially, correct?
mike lindell
That's correct.
That's correct, absolutely.
steve bannon
That's correct, okay.
You got banned everywhere.
And up until the time that you came, like to the time that you were identified as a President Trump supporter, and really after the 2020 election, when you, who are a novice to politics, saw all the stealing throughout the country, got involved, you were on the social media platforms up to that time, were you not, sir?
mike lindell
Absolutely.
I was on every social media platform.
And it's kind of funny you say that, but on Facebook, you guys, right before the 2020 election, Mark Zuckerbuck, I call him.
Took made me take my likeness out of all my pillow ads because I was so branded with our great real president.
So I literally could not run a my pillow ad if my face was in the ad.
But this is how bad it got.
After the 2020 election, when I started speaking out, let's secure our election platforms, and the election was stolen.
It was like I was wiped out of every single media platform.
Remember, on January 7th of 2021, 1.2 million Americans were deplatformed on Dorsey's crooked Twitter, Suckabucks Facebook, Vimeo, YouTube.
Anyone that spoke out about the election, the vaccine, or Jesus Christ was banned that day.
That's the day our voice went down to a little tiny dot, but we didn't die, everybody.
Steve, I think your show really kept that going, the voice of America, and expanded.
It's gotten so big, and I really think that what a blessing you are to our country that you were able to speak out back in January of 21 like I was, because you're the only one that kind of let me have, that I could come on the show, actually.
Everybody else had banned.
I was banned.
You couldn't even say my name.
I think if you said my name, they'd de-platform me.
steve bannon
Mike, hang on.
We're going to go to another hour.
I need you back on.
So let's reboot him and get him up in the next hour.
Here's why.
They banned everybody because they had the oligarchs on social media platforms, the Democrats.
They controlled it.
You know this.
This audience knows this.
People in our movement know this.
We went through this living hell.
We went through all of it, every trick they had.
They wanted that power, that state power, the ability of these crony capitals, of these oligarchs to crush any opposition.
Well, guess what?
We weren't crushed.
Not only were we not crushed, we came back and we won.
An historic victory.
And Zuckerberg, you can go down there and give us much money.
You can sit anywhere you want on that podium.
We're going to get you, and we're going to get you in prison.
You're a criminal.
What you did, you're a criminal.
You're nothing but a common criminal.
I don't care how nervous you are.
You get the best team of lawyers you've got, dude.
Because we're going to bring it.
You are nothing but a common criminal.
Short break.
