Speaker Time Text
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
Pray for our enemies.
Because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
I got a free shot on all these networks lying about the people.
dave brat
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
unidentified
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
MAGA Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room, here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
dave brat
Dave Brat in the War Room, sitting in for the great Stephen K. Bannon.
None of us can be Stephen K. Bannon, but we got a friend who's as close as you're gonna get.
Royce White gave just an out-of-the-park Homer Saturday show.
Please go watch it.
He was spot on.
He's got the courage like no one I've seen, and the communication skills, and he brings in issues.
The communists are always promising hope around the corner.
The hope never comes.
Not even the communists inflict the drag queens on their communities, right?
We get special attention, right?
This neo-Marxist stuff just attacks on race, He's rooted in the Judeo-Christian tradition.
That's what gives him his confidence, and I'm pretty sure his strength.
Royce, thank you so much for joining us on The War Room.
Why don't you give us a CliffsNotes version of what you did Saturday?
Because I thought it was just profoundly laced with truth, up and down.
God bless you.
royce white
Well, thanks for having me on, brother.
I appreciate it, and that's been the sort of signature of my campaign and my time on the political scene since The great Stephen K. Bannon first brought me on the war room and I appreciate the posse and all of the feedback and support and most off I appreciate the action.
We can really tell from being here in the field while campaigning the effect that war room and the war room posse has had on this country.
And, you know, saving this republic, which we are at that pivotal moment.
The cliff notes of my Saturday show was really we're being lied to and we get a chance.
We get a chance.
We get a choice right now to decide whether or not we have a country going forward.
And it really is that dire.
You know, every election cycle, politicians, candidates, which I don't really consider
myself a politician, but candidates come to the people and say, this is the most important
election you've ever been a part of.
I don't think it's any more true than it is right now.
And you can you can see now the fruits that are bearing from this communist Marxist takeover.
I know Steve and I talk a lot about the neocon neoliberal order.
I've since modified that, you know, that let's call it hegemony to include neo-marxism.
We have a neoliberal, neoconservative, neo-marxist world order and they all kind of play this round-robin-shell game to keep people caught up in these cultural wedge issues when the answers are really much more simple.
If you're not a citizen of a country, you have no rights.
If you have no rights, you have no freedom.
This is basic.
They want to give your citizenship up.
We have to stop them.
And we can stop at nothing until we do.
dave brat
Yeah, Royce, on the Saturday show, you were especially powerful on the race issues and said it like I've never
heard.
What's the polling going on and why does Trump have some superpower that no other Republicans ever had and, you know, hopefully forming a new populist A revolution that goes far beyond the old Republican-Democrat split and just favors America first.
What is he doing on race?
What's your message on race?
royce white
Well, that shift is twofold.
One, the false promises that have been given by the Democrats since the Civil Rights Act are running thin.
They're running thin on the black community.
They're running thin on minorities.
They're running thin on people who have any form of sanity and logic and reason left in this country.
If they would have just kept it about race, they might have been able to keep the wool over black people's eyes for a little while longer.
But the fact that they've reached so far with the LGBTQ agenda has shown them for who they really are.
And I know black men all around the Twin Cities, for example, where I am, call me every day and they say, can you believe what they're doing now?
And you know, Tim Walz putting tampons in a little boy's bathroom is part of it, but
it goes all the way back to Barack Obama prioritizing the LGBTQ agenda before black policy as well.
And you know, the, the referendum for this, this country right now is really, can we heal
the racial divide in order to save the Republic if we continue to allow them to divide black
I've been saying on my on my podcast, you know, you're not European.
I'm not African.
You're not European American.
I'm not African American.
I'm black.
You're white.
That's that's fine.
There's nothing wrong with that.
We're the fabric of this country, but we do have to heal a divide what Donald Trump presents as a unique problem.
In this American political narrative is that he was beloved by black people for a long time.
He was touted by them.
He was celebrated by them.
He was invited to all of their gatherings and now all of a sudden he talks about having a border and he's persona non grata or enemy number one.
I mean people will will accept that on face value for a while.
The other problem they have is we have a big internet and people are curious.
The human spirit is curious.
So people have now gone back and started to realize, wait a minute, they weren't always saying things about Donald Trump that they're saying now.
And Donald Trump, from a political standpoint, from an individual standpoint, has done what many Republicans have failed to do, and that is question the prevailing political ideology and status quo of this country.
Yes, we want to have the back and forth with Democrats, but we've never really questioned our own Our own troop.
Our own team.
And Donald Trump started off by doing that.
So that's paying dividends.
And because he was willing to have that genuine, authentic criticism of the Republican Party as a whole, it has now opened up a door for all people from all walks of life to see him as a real, authentic candidate.
And somebody who's willing to fight the power.
Not so much about party, but fighting the establishment and the status quo.
dave brat
Yep, right on the money.
Royce, you're also unique, and I think you've hit a real nugget that the Republicans have failed to hit.
The Democrats own every major city across the country.
They own all the schools.
In Chicago right now, the Illinois Policy Institute put out a report.
12% of the poor kids in Chicago can read at grade level in the third grade.
12% of the poor kids, right?
And so this used to be modeled as a city on a hill.
The bad news is the Republicans and conservatives and populists don't have many schools we can point to, and we should.
And that's not a put down.
The moms out there, Moms for Liberty, people are fighting like crazy.
The homeschool moms are doing great.
This is not a put down.
But I'm just saying they own the turf and we don't.
How do we, and that is the economy, right?
I did my PhD in economic growth and the kids are one third of the economy.
They're called human capital.
Plus they're made in the image of God.
And so why do you hit that nugget and why have so many people missed that?
We got Heather McDonald coming up.
She hits it too.
But you're one of the rare folks who speaks on behalf of the least of these.
How'd you choose that?
royce white
Well, first off, I've recently been inspired by the vice president pick of Tim Walz, who is the governor here, but as part of that Democrat hegemony that has controlled the Department of Education here in the state of Minnesota for decades.
And here in Minnesota, similar to Chicago, greater Minnesota has one of the most touted and highly rated Wow.
public education systems in the country, yet in the black communities like Minneapolis,
we have the second worst proficiency rating in the entire country. So one of the greatest racial
disparities in education in this country has come under Democrat policy. Now, you say, well,
how does that happen? Well, only a fool could look at a political and academic political class,
which is who runs our education system. The Marxists, the communists, they've taken over
They've had the universities for a long time.
Only a fool could look at that and say that it wasn't intentional.
Okay, and what people have to understand, the connection, Marxism, Communism and Satanism are inextricably linked.
They can try and make it out to be some political ideology all they want to, but when you go back and you read the early poetry of Karl Marx, He was deeply, deeply obsessed with the story of Faust and specifically the character Mephistopheles, who is a demonic character.
And the goal of Mephistopheles was to burn down existence itself.
They try and paint Marxism, neo-Marxism, post-modern Marxism as this remedy to the unequal distribution of resources.
Absolutely not.
Karl Marx is a Satanist and he used economics as a tool to gain political power and wreak the havoc that Mephistopheles sought to wreak in the story of Faust and that's exactly
what's happened in the black communities. I mean it's not a conspiracy theory
look at the product.
You know Carl Jung used to say you could look at the results and go back and
infer the motive. There's not a better motif for that than your American black
communities. Pure chaos especially in Chicago and it's not much better here
dave brat
in Minneapolis. Yeah hey Royce in closing I don't know if this is providential but
because of you I looked up Lion in the Good Book and the devil is known as the
father of lies.
And then so I looked up a text, found John 8.
And I want to put this into context, right?
Morning Mika and Joe, they talk about what Christians should do and how conservatives and populists don't know Jesus and we don't know love and we don't know this, you know, it's just so simple.
And we should just be quiet and go to our corner and do religion in a corner instead of out in the public square.
But I got this from Jesus, right?
The second member of the Trinity, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, very God of very God.
This is love from Jesus.
Mark 8, Jesus says, you, speaking to his enemies, who he could read, he could see in their hearts.
We can't see as clearly, so we show some humility, but we have to form judgments.
You are of your father, the devil.
And your will is to do your father's desires.
He was a murderer from the beginning and has nothing to do with the truth, because there's no truth in him.
When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
So that's Jesus, the author of love, and he really was, right?
The Greeks and the Romans knew nothing of love.
Jesus does come, offers his life for all of us in love, but then he speaks that way in love.
And so in closing, what do you make of this love that Christians should be loving?
And also a challenge, how do we fight while we love?
royce white
Well, look, love is truth.
God is truth and love is truth.
And we have the opportunity right now to save this country.
First, we have to redefine American politics and we have to do it by redefining ourselves and our own fears and prejudgments.
We have allowed the rift between blacks and whites or Christians and non-Christians to take a stranglehold on this country and its future.
Now Christians have to go out with their Bibles and patriots have to go out with their constitutions And minister.
And we can't blame the loss of Christianity or the failure of Christianity in this country, which Christianity is dissipating now in this country.
We can't blame that on the Satanists.
The failure to minister the value of the gospel rests on us as Christians.
dave brat
Amen.
Amen.
Honored to have you on The War Room.
Royce, you're an inspiration to all of us.
That's a call to ministry you just heard.
Some of the folks, if you're not into the religion piece, You just heard from Royce White.
The gospel has a strange way of emerging.
The truth emerges in many and diverse ways, and we're just especially thankful to have leaders like Royce White on our team sitting in for the Captain Bannon while he's in jail.
God bless you, Royce, and Godspeed in your race.
Thanks for being with us.
royce white
Thank you, brother.
God bless you.
dave brat
You too.
But now, Royce, superhero powers, I just love hearing him speak.
You can just hear the power, the leadership from the sports days ringing true now in the political realm.
Now we got someone that's been fighting the fight for years.
Back with Nixon.
Knows the political history better than anyone in this country.
Monica Crowley's with us.
Monica, we got a minute left.
Why don't you just respond to Royce and then we'll bring you back on the other side of the break.
monica crowley
Yeah, great to be with you, Dave.
Thank you so much for having me.
Although I must say, having to follow Royce White is not exactly a good time.
No, I am so proud of him that he is now the nominee for the U.S.
Senate out of Minnesota.
He's an extraordinarily important voice.
Not just on the political side, but also on the spiritual warfare side, which is something I talk about, I know you talk about as well, because we are dealing with secular political battles, of course, Trump versus Kamala, right versus left.
But above everything, Dave, this is a spiritual war of good versus evil, God versus the enemy, however you want to put it.
And I think more and more people have come to that understanding that there's something much bigger going on here.
And that animates our fight for this election and beyond in more important ways, in ways that we haven't seen in a very long time.
dave brat
Yep, Monica Crowley's going to be back with us right after the break.
We're going to go through some of the same bullets that Royce just covered.
The neo-Marxists are in war, right?
The one characteristic that stands out from Marxists is the rejection of God and therefore the rejection of any higher ideals.
Back with Monica Crowley for a sum right after the break.

Back in the war room, Dave Brat sitting in for the great Stephen K. Bannon.
I used to teach economics for 20 years.
Small liberal arts school.
Loved the students.
Loved being in front of them.
But teaching economics to 20-year-olds is a challenge.
I had to dance on the tables and do entertainment to keep them going.
On the War Room, I don't need to do that.
We have the best guests.
This show, what you just heard, Royce White, Monica Crowley, Heather McDonald coming up, If you're not sharing this with people, it's close to a sin of omission.
That's kind of a joke.
But seriously, folks, when Steve gets out of jail, I want this show cranking, right?
If you're not sharing this, it takes about 10 clicks on a computer.
Copy, paste, share your favorite segments with the friends where they hit, where they appreciate it and they'll follow the war room.
Let's keep this momentum going and make Steve proud when he comes back.
I want him to say, wow, I can't believe you guys did this.
Monica Crowley's back with us, another superstar, crowd favorite of the War Room, of course.
Monica, we're going to hit a little bit of the deep state and economics, but if you want to respond to Royce a little bit.
He covered the race issue and the lies of being told on the gender front.
Men, women, polling.
What's going on there, as best you can tease out from the polling and the politics when it comes to these gender wars?
monica crowley
Yeah, well, what's happening, as far as I can see from this early polling, Dave, is that it's a very predictable dynamic.
So you have the imperial media, and that's President Nixon's phrase, not mine, the imperial media, engaged in pure propaganda, as we have seen.
This is now, what, the 25th day where Kamala Harris has not held a press conference or taken really any questions from the press at all.
So they're in full protective mode.
But it's not just about protecting Kamala Harris in order to advance her candidacy and try to get her elected.
It's also about covering her record and advancing a different kind of narrative, the same one that they used to help elect Barack Obama.
They want to try to set up Kamala Harris as essentially Barack Obama in a skirt.
And they really have been targeting that message to women, and in particular, minority women and suburban women and younger women voters.
And from the breakdowns of the polling that I can see, it is working to some extent, because they're selling the idea of Kamala Harris.
They're not selling her as a candidate.
They're not selling her record, which is really the most radical.
She's the most radical vice president in American history.
And in many ways, the most radical presidential candidate in American history.
So they're clearly burying that.
And in lieu of that, they're selling this idea of Kamala Harris.
And I talk about it a lot today on my podcast, so I hope everybody will check that out on Rumble, because what I do on today's show is compare her to two pop culture figures as a way that the media is selling her as an illusion.
So, they're selling her as an historic first, and they're targeting that message to women, that don't you really want to vote for the first woman?
Hillary didn't quite make it, but Kamala has a real shot here.
She's a woman of color.
Don't you want to make history?
And that kind of emotional appeal is really getting some traction with women, particularly those demographic groups.
And so the way President Trump and his campaign needs to counter that, Dave, because this is a whole system effort to sell her.
Let me just take a step back and make a bigger point about the system.
The people have not been in control of this country since at least the JFK assassination, certainly through Watergate and beyond.
The system has been in control.
We've talked about the deep state.
Eisenhower called it the military industrial complex.
But there are so many moving parts to the system.
Yes, it is the dark shadowy aspects of the security state, law enforcement, DOJ, FBI, etc.
All of those elements that we know.
But it's also the imperial media.
It's academia.
It's the culture, meaning Hollywood.
And it's big tech, which is the newest component to all of this.
They've been in control.
And for the last several many election cycles, the system has put up A ghost on the Democratic side.
They run a ghost.
So they ran a ghost with Barack Obama.
And at one point, Obama even said, look, I'm a blank screen.
I'm like a hologram onto which the system is allowing the people to project their hopes.
They want to overcome slavery.
All of these things that went into the calculation of electing Barack Obama.
He was a ghost.
To this day, he's still a stranger, right?
In 2020, they ran a ghost.
In Joe Biden and this time around they're running a ghost in Kamala Harris and the media is doing the heavy lifting to keep her as a ghost so that your particular question about women is so right on.
It's about having women, which they hope will be the big swing vote to get Kamala elected, that they will project onto her.
their hopes. Well, we didn't make it with Hillary, but we can make it with her, etc.
And that's why I think the Trump campaign really needs to do a couple of things in terms
of focusing messaging for women. And it doesn't have to be on so-called women's issues. Women's
issues are American issues. And I would give you one critical example. President Trump
spoke yesterday in a very focused, tight, disciplined speech on economic policy. It
was a brilliant speech, OK, because he talked about his economic record the first term around,
delivering a robust economy through a pro-growth economic agenda.
Then he talked about what he would do going forward, including those new and creative policies, no tax on tips, which Kamala has ripped off, and no tax on Social Security benefits, right?
Which I'm sure tomorrow when she gives her economic speech, she's going to rip that off too.
Um, but I think, you know, I'll give you one core example of what I think President Trump and the campaign need to do to bring women back and get them away from being lost in the distraction of the identity politics and what they're trying to sell with Kamala, which is focus on inflation.
He did that yesterday.
I want him to continue doing that going forward, Dave, for one critical reason.
First of all, every American is being crushed by Biden-Harris inflation, and we have been for almost four years now.
But women in particular are the ones who go shopping for their families.
They're the ones buying the groceries.
They're the ones filling up their gas tank to bring the kids to soccer practice.
They're the ones buying the soccer uniforms for their kids.
Prices are They are out of control and they have been for a very long time.
People cannot make ends meet.
And if President Trump really focuses on that, that is going to turn a lot of women's heads.
Like, hey man, do I want a virtue signal by voting for Kamala or do I want to feed my family and make sure my kids have medicine this week?
and going forward into the future like they did under President Trump.
It's about who were you richer under? You were certainly wealthier under President Trump,
and he's going to do it again. I think that's how you get to a lot of women.
dave brat
Yep.
Yep, Monica, great analysis.
One more issue in closing is moral culpability of the press, right?
What you just said was brilliant in terms of the ghost running, right?
In the past, whenever Kamala talks about economics, right, she's got about a 45-second rant on inflation out in YouTube where she just says bread prices are higher 20 times in a row, and that's her analysis of inflation.
And so now, because that's her analysis of inflation, in order to control prices, she's going to go top-down, command-and-control, communist kind of thinking.
Her father was a Marxist economist, and she's going to do price controls.
And so the press, right, we're talking about morality here, the press is very complicit.
In about 30, 45 seconds, can you give us an analysis of the press?
We'll come to you briefly right after the break as well.
monica crowley
Yeah, no, absolutely.
Look, the press has been running cover for her forever.
Tomorrow you're going to hear from her in her economic speech where she's going to blame greedy corporations and price gouging for the fact that prices have been astronomical for the last three and a half years.
No, that is not true.
The press is going to cover for her on that because they're deeply involved in the class
unidentified
No.
monica crowley
warfare aspect of this.
But what has actually created the inflation, as Steve and Scott Besson and you and I have
been talking about for a long time, is the obvious, which is the massive expansion of
government and the massive expansion of government spending.
Eight trillion dollars over the last four years.
Part of that was COVID, but then they kept up the emergency level spending absent the emergency.
And that's why the system is awash in money and why you're paying more for groceries.
dave brat
Couldn't have been said better by Uncle Milton Friedman.
Too much money chasing too few goods.
Back with Monica Crowley right after the break.
Stay with the world.
Let's make Steve proud.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bamm.
dave brat
Back in the warm, Dave Brat, Monica Crowley, uh, closing out.
Monica, tell folks, how do they reach you?
And if you want to close up with your conclusion, why is it that we do need a president of the United States who can think in real time, right?
Kamala will give us an economic speech written by smart people on the left using rhetoric and poetry to soothe our emotions
and make us feel good about voting in that direction.
All political views are my own.
But so, so why do we need a president who can think on their feet?
When they get in power, does that have implications?
monica crowley
Well, I think what you started to see with Joe Biden, Dave, is that they, the system has moved the presidency
into more of a figurehead role.
And that there are system players and operatives and handlers who have certainly handled Joe Biden.
A lot of us suspect that it's been Barack Obama this whole time and the Obama machine.
and will probably be proven right on all of that.
But they've actually created a movement away from the unitary executive with the president
to more of a figurehead.
And that's where Kamala comes in.
Now look, she's going to give this economic address tomorrow.
It's going to be chock-a-block with more moderate kind of sounding policies and more moderate
sounding rhetoric.
She's going to try to convince you she's not for tax increases.
She's not for increased regulation.
She's for no tax on tips, ripping off Donald Trump, that she's backing away from Medicare for all and single payer.
All of those things are lies.
Her long record going back to California through the vice presidency belies all of that.
She is the most radical vice presidential candidate running for president, and she as president will affect all of these Marxist policies.
More of a massive expansion of government, more massive expansion of spending, universal healthcare, you know, socialized medicine.
All of the things that she's going to deny during this campaign and the press and the
system are going to cover for her, she is going to implement because she has shown her
hand throughout her career.
So do not believe a word she says for the next, what, 85 days and don't believe the
press spin on it.
She will lie through her teeth in order to get into office and then she is going to cloward
and piven implode this economy even more than it already is.
dave brat
Yep.
Yep.

dave brat
Great job, Monica.
You're a crowd favorite.
Thanks for being on.
monica crowley
Oh, my pleasure, Dave.
Thank you.
dave brat
You bet.
All right.
Next up, we have Heather McDonald, a walking think tank.
She wrote a piece in the Wall Street Journal a day ago.
I've had the privilege of knowing her for a few years and following her work at the Manhattan Institute.
She wrote a piece on the vice president candidate, Walz.
And the War Room loves receipts, right?
We don't like poetry and emotion to guide people.
We want rationality, receipts, and evidence.
So no one better that delivered the goods already.
And if you want to give us a CliffsNotes, Heather, welcome to the War Room.
Thanks for being on.
unidentified
Thanks for having me, Dave.
dave brat
You bet.
Give us a run through on Waltz.
Yep.
heather mac donald
The thing you need to understand about both Walz and Kamala Harris is that their worldview is defined by the belief that America is systemically racist.
That is a falsehood.
America was systemically racist.
Today, it is not.
Today, the reality is black privilege, not white privilege.
But they are convinced that when they look around America, they see white Americans as inherently, by virtue of their skin color, as racist.
And above all, when they look at law enforcement, And the police, they see a racist occupying force.
So the crime increase that this country has seen since the George Floyd race riots began in Minnesota and Minneapolis under Tim Walz, it spread.
We are living with the consequences of Tim Walz's belief that the police are oppressing Minneapolis black residents and Minnesota black residents.
When the race riots broke out In May 26th, George Floyd died in May 25th, 2020.
The violence, the anarchy in Minneapolis broke out the next day.
On Wednesday, three days afterwards, Mayor Jacob Frey, who's a lefty himself, asked Tim Walz to activate the National Guard because already the city was burning.
Small minority businesses were under attack.
They were being firebombed.
They were being looted.
People were weeping in front of their stores that had been completely plundered, their life efforts down the drain.
Walz took about 18 hours to respond.
It wasn't until the next day at 4 p.m.
that he actually activated the National Guard, and the Guard didn't show up for another half day or so.
By then, it was way too late.
The third precinct, the police house where the officers involved in the George Floyd arrest and subsequent death worked out of, had been completely overrun by vandals.
It was ordered evacuated by the mayor and was torched and almost burned down to the ground.
And the rest of the city was up in flames.
The day after Walsh activated the guard or the guard showed up, Walsh went on TV for a press conference to explain his decision to send in the guard and why it was so late.
And the reason it took him so long to decide to actually take the necessary steps to protect the entire livelihoods of the city of Minneapolis, to protect property, to protect lives, was because he was so worried that it would offend the rioters if he called in the police, the National Guard, because as we all know, law enforcement is racist.
His staff, was allegedly quizzing the National Guard about whether they had had DEI trainings, whether they were competent to work in so-called diverse communities.
And he basically, Walsh in his press conference basically said that the riots are a function of racism.
He said, in the ashes, we see decades and centuries of oppression.
He was sacramentalizing This vindictive, hateful, gratuitously nasty, insignificant, unjust vandalism and destruction that had gone on.
And since then, he has continued to double down on this phony and dangerous conceit that law enforcement is racist.
Every year he issues a George Floyd commemoration proclamation.
I don't need to tell your viewers Dave, that Floyd was a vicious felon, many times convicted.
He pled to aggravated robbery and assault.
He was high on a potentially lethal dose of fentanyl when he passed the counterfeit bill in a convenience store in Milwaukee that started the whole chain of events that led to his death.
But here's Walz having the whole state of Minnesota honor George Floyd because he sees him as a martyr to systemic racism.
In 2023, Walz passed further laws that would de-incarcerate, shorten sentences, make it harder to prosecute juvenile gang members.
And he's not just Tim Walz, the VP contender.
He is the heart and soul of what the Harris-Walz worldview and policymaking outlook and agenda is going to be.
dave brat
Yeah, Heather, you're a worldly philosopher, and so I love the allusions to worldview.
And so, you know, okay, systemic racism, right?
Okay, so that's still not the underpinnings, the underbelly of a philosophy.
He made 30 trips to China.
Kamala's dad is a Marxist economist, etc.
What are the underpinnings of the need to believe in this systemic racism?
unidentified
What's the deeper backstory?
heather mac donald
Well, I actually, you know, if you're saying that this is ultimately Marxist or communist, I think that's not really accurate.
I think this is a homegrown American hatred Or Western civilization's hatred for itself.
It is part of a suicidal impulse on the West part at this point, and unique to the West.
Every other civilization has committed genocide, or has tried to commit genocide.
If it has failed, it is only for lack of technology, not for lack of trying.
Every civilization has slavery, including Africa.
We would have not been able to have an African slave trade, but for the totally voluntary involvement of the Dahomey Kings, the Nigerian kings back then.
And there's parts of Africa that are still engaged in slavery.
But only the West feels like it is deserving to efface itself because of historical errors.
The fact of the matter is, Dave, only the West has given the world tools not only to overcome humanity's traditional penury, squalor, poverty, early childhood death, maternal death, disease, famine.
Only the West has given us the technological, the engineering tools to overcome that.
Only the West has given the rest of the world the ideological tools to fight for justice, to fight for equality of opportunity. And we don't complain about
cultural appropriation when other civilizations take our Bill of Rights, but it all began here. And yet the
West is determined to erase itself.
And that includes immigration policy, which of course is your calling card, but great replacement is real.
It is not a conspiracy theory.
Nobody came up with this as a theory, but as it is a reality where we intend to erase ourselves demographically and the whole systemic racism conceit just comes out of this bizarre, unjustified instinct on the part of Western elites
to try and declare themselves guilty of every sin under the sun.
dave brat
Yeah, I agree with you, Heather.
I'm still working my way through an answer, an ultimate answer to that question as well.
I don't think you can blame it on China.
On the other hand, you know, the Chinese and the Marxists certainly haven't imposed drag queens on themselves, right?
We have a unique ability to go beyond the reckless behaviors of straight-on Marxism.
On the other hand, The Marxist attack lines, you know, since World War II, I liked R.R.
Reno on the Return of the Strong Gods, who said that never fascism again and as a result we got to get rid of all metaphysical terms, which includes getting rid of human rights language.
We got to get rid of all the things we love, which include love for God, love for country, love for family.
That's in tune with the Marxist attack on the West.
But I agree that we've heightened it on ourselves.
Europe clearly has heightened the internal attacks out of a sense of guilt by electing, right?
The majorities in Europe are electing folks who agree with the thesis you just gave.
What is the remedy?
We got about 30 seconds before the break, but what's the remedy?
And hopefully you can stay with us after the break for a few minutes as well.
Heather.
heather mac donald
The remedy is telling the truth.
The remedy is not to cave to the phony idea that every racial disparity is the product of racism.
It's to tell the truth about the academic skills gaps, the behavior gaps, and not to agree to this idea that everything in our world around us reflects systemic racism.
I would just add to your valuable and worthwhile effort to distinguish us from China, let's also notice China is working fanatically to advance its math talent.
It is taking kids and throwing everything it's got at them, whereas we're saying if you've got math talent, we're going to hold you back in the wan and futile hope that if we hold you back from algebra, blacks will catch up.
They're not happy.

Back in the War Room, Dave Brout with Heather McDonald.
We got about five minutes with Heather to make a transition to education.
I've alluded in the past with Royce, Chicago schools were spending $20,000 to $30,000 per pupil.
The test scores are flat.
We're hiring more bureaucrats to do the ESG race and gender ideology.
And the illiteracy rate in Chicago for poor kids in third grade is 88% illiteracy.
We used to be able to count on our liberal friends.
Liberals used to care about the kids in the big cities and the schools.
They used to care about our civil liberties, etc.
What's gone wrong, Heather?
What's your diagnosis and what can we do about it?
heather mac donald
Well, we've gotten away from teaching the basics.
You know, there was a whole attack decades ago on teaching phonics and in favor of whole language.
That was a failure.
It's been admitted to be a failure now.
But there's been a belief that you can't have high standards because that will have a disparate impact on black students.
So we've been watering down our expectations.
Obviously, the credentializing for teachers is basically zero.
They have to know nothing.
Education school is just two long years of marinating and critical race theory and, you know, microaggressions and how bad it is to be white.
So the school system is definitely falling flat.
But, but Dave, the thing that most people don't want to talk about is family culture.
And that is also creating this mess.
You do not have the same fanatical attention to their child's involvement in school, the child's effort, whether he's doing homework, whether he's showing up in class in the inner city, as you do among Asians.
Asians are whooping everybody's ass.
The truancy rate for black students in California is four times that of white students.
And in inner city areas, it's going to be much, much worse.
So there has to be a revolution from within as well.
More black leaders have to stand up and stay.
Monitor your child's homework.
Do not let them run the streets.
Pay attention to teachers.
The other problem we've had began in the Obama administration, or accelerated in the Obama administration, is school districts being sued by the federal justice department and the federal education department if they have disparate rates of disciplining black students.
The only allowable explanation for such disciplinary rates that are more involved with black students is racism.
We're supposed to believe that teachers, the most left-wing group in the country, are out of racial animus, suspending black students in subordination at higher rates.
Well, the reason they are is because there's actually much, much higher rates of classroom disruption and violence when you have black male teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17 committing gun homicide at 10 times the rate of white male teenagers in that age cohort.
If the lack of socialization is that bad in the black home that their kids are committing these horrible gang drive-by shootings, what do we expect is going on in the classroom as well?
But now teachers are terrified that if they discipline students They will be accused of racism.
They'll put their school district under the thumb of the federal bureaucracy in a consent decree.
And so they're letting chaos run even worse in these classrooms, making it impossible to learn.
dave brat
Yeah, Heather, why don't you tell folks and go real slow on this.
How do they find you?
Read your great work.
You're a deep source of truth and knowledge and wisdom.
We appreciate you being on here.
So give people your coordinates.
How do they follow you?
And then in closing, if you want to tell the Republican Congress, all political views are my own, how they might want to pay attention to these kids who are made in the image of God and do a little something for education.
Your quick guidance there as well.
heather mac donald
Well, the best thing your viewers can do is get my recent book because that kind of sums up what I've been trying to say today in my entire thinking called When Race Trumps Merit.
But the easiest, another way to get sort of follow what I've been doing is my Twitter feed, and I don't even know what the handle is, but if you Google Heather MacDonald on Twitter, you'll find it.
As far as the Congress, I would say the most important thing they can do is get rid of every statute that has a racial disparate impact standard in it, require that federal grants be given exclusively on the basis of merit, not race, that they refuse to fund science agencies that are passing out federal science
dollars on the basis of race, not merit, and do everything they can to fight back against their
colleagues who claim that America is systemically racist and the reason that we have racial
disparities is racism.
No, it's not.
The reason we have racial disparities is the academic skills gap and the crime gap.
And those are the things that need to be changed, not telling white Americans that they're the source of all evil.
dave brat
