Speaker Time Text

Well good morning to all my fellow Americans.
It is an honor yet again to be sitting here in the chair in War Room where we are temporarily holding the seat for our good friend Steve Bannon as he is sitting in a prison for you and that's frankly something that I think he wears as a badge of honor but we should all be continuing to pray for him and in that spirit I want to open as I did last week with a Bible verse,
Isaiah 43, 1 and 2.
Fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name, you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.
And through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you.
When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned.
And the flame shall not consume you.
Now consider this scripture was said by our Lord through Isaiah at a time when he was consoling Israel at one of their lowest points in history during Babylonian exile.
And the point here is that God never abandons his children.
That's the point.
That's the takeaway.
And after a week like this one, in a state where we feel where we are here in this country, sometimes we need to think through that lens.
This place is called War Room for a reason.
That's why I'm here.
We also have to remember that Israel's exile is a cautionary tale for us as Americans.
They had every chance to turn away from the things that eventually brought on their own destruction, and they had every reason to do it.
We've always had the option to turn away and seek the truth, righteousness, and common sense that He has made available to all of us, both in our personal lives and as a country, before we have to face the worst natural consequences of our own actions.
As I said in a speech to some Texans yesterday, talking about paying the piper, well, the piper is here.
We're $35 trillion in debt.
Wide open borders decimating our country.
We're seeing the fruits of that every single day.
Volatility in the markets this week.
You're looking at your 401k.
You're wondering what the future holds for your children and your grandchildren.
The fact is, we are called to fight.
We are called to engage.
We are called, as Paul said, to finish the race.
And that's why we're here.
Just think about a handful of things.
Of more than 250 illegal aliens encountered on the terrorist watch list, DHS has released 99, according to a report that we just got through the House Judiciary Committee.
34 remain in custody.
Now, that's all concerning, but what about the other 120?
Well, they were removed, but guess what?
We have two million gotaways.
You think those guys just were removed and said, all right, peace out, we're gone?
No, they're removed and they've likely come back.
We have the United Kingdom in a preview of coming attractions to your country that are literally going into people's homes, as we saw videos put out over the last week, arresting them for hate speech because of something they said on social media.
Now, I want to be very clear.
Earlier this year, there was an anti-Semitism bill put on the floor of the House.
We should be rooting out anti-Semitism wherever we can, on college campuses and around this country.
But 21 Republicans, including myself, voted against that bill, and we received the scorn of a lot of people.
Well, guess what?
We were right to vote against that bill.
We do not want to empower the federal government to go after the American people and police speech.
It's deeply un-American, and you're seeing what's happening right now in the United Kingdom and what's happening here in this country doing that.
Look at trade.
We're going to talk about that some day.
Look at our economy.
Look at manufacturing.
Did you know that China makes up 35% of the world's manufacturing today?
America makes up only 12%.
We're going to talk about that today and talk about how that's destroying jobs.
How about energy?
We had 18 Republicans put out a letter in all of their infinite wisdom this week.
Saying we must save the Inflation Reduction Act.
That's the Inflation Reduction Act, by the way, that's driving up the cost of goods and services, that's empowering China, that's funding more solar panels and wind at the expense of American natural gas, which is our unique ability to produce energy and be energy independent.
And they put out a letter saying, no, no, no, we need to save this Democrat bill.
How about the kill switch?
19 Republicans last week voted against killing the kill switch.
That's something that would allow the government to shut down your car at any point they want to.
I turned 52 the day before yesterday and my son wanted to go play a round of golf with his dad, so I did that.
Have any of you driven around in those communist golf carts where they like shut them down because you might be in some sort of environmentally sensitive area when you're in the middle of the friggin' fairway?
Like, it's ridiculous.
They want to do that to your car.
They want to shut your car down on the side of the road because they can.
This is the truth.
Cars, by the way, are unaffordable.
The average price for a new car is $48,000.
A third of Americans make less than $50,000.
This is what you're up against.
But here's what we're going to do.
We're going to recognize that this election, this season, this fall, this time we're in as Americans, this is the biggest worldview election of our lifetime.
I've got a very dear friend on here who's been talking a lot about this.
You all know him, you see him all the time on The Blaze, my friend Steve Dace.
He's a good man, he's a good Christian, he's a smart conservative, and he's been talking a lot about it, and I'm going to introduce him here just to expand on this.
That we've got to take into account in this election that reality.
What you're seeing with the United Kingdom, and you're seeing the effect of the Muslim migration there, and you're seeing what's happening on the streets, and you see people protesting, and then they end up in jail.
You see what's happening here in our own streets, in our own country, and what's happening when you target Americans.
And if you're a pro-life activist, and you're a 75-year-old grandmother, you end up in jail for two years because you happen to want to pray in an abortion clinic.
That's what's coming to a theater near you.
You've got to wake up and understand, this is much bigger than this one moment.
It's much bigger than any one politician.
It's much bigger than me.
It's much bigger than Congress.
This is about a worldview.
What path are we going to choose?
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
Pray for our enemies.
Because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
You're not going to free shot all these networks lying about the people.
unidentified
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big line?
unidentified
MAGA Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room, here's your host, Stephen K. Bamm.
chip roy
Well, hey, everybody.
It's great to be here with you.
It's great to be sitting in the chair again, just temporarily holding it for our friend Steve Bannon here in War Room.
And I just want to open up with a quote from Alexander Frazier Tyler.
The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.
These nations have progressed through the sequence from bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back into bondage.
I think that is something that we need to understand when we're looking at this election, that this is a worldview election.
I've got my friend Steve Daison here who's talking about that, and I think it's important for everybody to understand whatever walks of life we're coming from, wherever we're finding ourselves in this election season, We're trying to save the United States of America.
We're trying to save our way of life.
We're trying to save freedom.
We're trying to avoid that which I just read, what every other nation state has done.
We can avoid that if we choose the right path.
This election is that.
It's a worldview election.
President Reagan in 1964.
Time for choosing speech.
We didn't choose correctly.
We choose the wrong path.
We chose the wrong path.
And now we've got to make the choice in this election cycle.
Well now I want to talk a little bit about one of the things that makes very clear the extent to which what Steve just said is correct, right?
This worldview issue.
Radical progressive Democrats want to remake our country, okay?
It could not be more clear if you look at the data.
Just this week, we saw that the Virginia Republican Attorney General said his office identified and removed over 6,300 non-citizens from Virginia's voting roll.
I want you to pause and think about that.
That's Virginia.
6,300 non-citizens that they had to remove from their voting rolls.
A study that we saw that was just conducted said a staggering 14% of non-citizens interviewed in Georgia said that they are registered to vote.
If that ratio were to hold true statewide, that would mean there are 47,000 non-citizens are registered to vote.
Now, that was a state that, whatever we think about the actual accuracy of the data, and we all have very strong concerns about the mail-in ballots and the fraud in Georgia, but it was carried on paper by 12,000 votes in 2020.
So you have 47,000 potential non-citizens registered to vote if you look at that study.
This administration has been importing illegal aliens to vote since day one.
This is why we introduced the SAVE Act.
This is why we put forward legislation to fix that.
This is why I would say Congress should be here in Washington right now to pass the SAVE Act as part of a continuing resolution to force Democrats to have to deal with that.
I wish the Speaker would call everybody back into town.
This week, next Monday, and say, let's pass it and send it over to the Senate and force that vote because we can't allow this to continue.
Meanwhile, we have, as I said earlier, a hundred people on the terrorist watch list who have been released.
Think about that.
The administration actually released them into our country.
The people that they turned away, we don't know that they haven't come back as gotaways.
So I want to have a friend of mine, Mark Morgan, who served in the Trump administration.
He's a great American.
He served in the FBI back when the FBI was worth serving in.
He actually stood up to try to put bad guys in jail.
He has been the head of Border Patrol for President Trump.
He knows everything you need to know about the border.
He knows everything you need to know about standing up for law enforcement.
He is my good friend, Mark Morgan.
Mark, how are you, brother?
unidentified
Chip, I'm doing great.
And hey, you're doing a great job, brother.
It's great to be on with you.
chip roy
Well, it's an honor to sit here again.
Steve's sitting in a prison for all of us, frankly, because he's standing up against the tyrannical government, and this thing's called War Room for a reason.
We're in a war, and you know that better than anybody in terms of the dangerous individuals that are being released into the United States, people on terrorist watch lists, criminals that are able to come out, people that are paroled in the United States, who killed Lake and Riley, who have killed You know, Rachel Moran right here, right up the road from D.C.
and Maryland, Lizbeth Medina, who was found in a bathtub, and her mom found her in her house in Texas.
I could go down the list.
You know it.
Can you lay out for the listeners the state of the border?
A lot of that's lost right now, right?
Because we don't see hordes of people gathering at Eagle Pass, but that doesn't mean that the border's not dangerously open.
That doesn't mean that we're not fully in danger right now in terms of this administration.
Just because they backed off, like the CBP One app, I looked online, it's been downloaded Yeah, Chip, look, and you mentioned a couple things that are very important.
because they've pumped the brakes a little bit for election season.
Could you please lay that out for the listeners, the state of the border?
unidentified
Yeah, Chip, look, and you mentioned a couple things that are very important.
When we talk about the state of the border, we can't just look at the past 45 days, right?
But that's what they want you to do.
And I'll talk about that in a second.
When you look at the state of the border, you have to look at the entire three and a half years.
In the last three and a half years, you talked about almost 11 million total nationwide encounters, plus another 2 million known guideways.
Who the hell knows how many unknown guideways?
We know that in that same time period, Border Patrol have apprehended 380 illegal aliens on the FBI terror watch list.
To put that in perspective, All four years under President Trump, that number was 14.
We know that in that same time period, Border Patrol have apprehended almost 53,000 criminal illegal aliens, including murderers, rapists, pedophiles, aggravated felons.
To put that in perspective, that's a 99% increase from FY 17 to 20 combined.
And we know about the drugs.
We know fentanyl and cocaine and meth.
You know, it's all coming across the porous border.
Last year alone, 28,000 Americans died from drug overdoses and fentanyl poisoning.
I could go on and on.
That's the state of the border the past three and a half years.
And real quick, right now, what this administration is wanting to do, it's another lie to the American people.
They're absolutely not being honest.
And you just highlighted one of those issues.
So they're saying, well, the numbers are going down.
Well, Chip, let's put that in perspective.
They're taking one element out of context, and that's just the southwest border, and that's just those that are illegally entering.
When they say that the numbers are going down, they're not talking about the northern border.
They don't include that, which is going up.
They don't include our coastal waterways, which those numbers are going up.
And most importantly, they do not count the ports of entry.
Those numbers, to your point, have skyrocketed almost 400 percent.
So what they're doing, it's a big shell game.
They're simply diverting those that used to illegally enter in between the ports of entry, and they're just moving them to the ports of entry.
It's a big lie.
It's a big shell game.
There's still chaos and lawlessness that's happening on our border now.
And the last thing that I'll say is, okay, so what do we do now?
What do we do with the millions and millions of illegal aliens that we've allowed into the country or snuck into the country?
They never talk about that as well.
chip roy
Well, let's paint a picture real quick, just so everybody understands.
And this is, as my friend Steve alluded to earlier, a really smart audience, right?
They follow the news, they understand the facts.
But I want to remind the audience, right, that this isn't mostly, mostly, this isn't about people who just walk across the Rio Grande, right?
Mostly, what they've done is, frankly, they being the Biden-Harris regime, Led by Kamala Harris, the so-called Border Czar, Secretary Mayorkas, they have been purposely organizing the release of individuals into the United States, okay?
They've released them through the abuse of our parole laws.
So if you're out there arguing with your friends, and they go, you know, this is not a thing.
Yes it is.
They are taking our existing parole laws and asylum laws, meant to be focused on a very small handful of people.
Because we're a compassionate nation.
We'll say, hey, you need to come in and get a kidney transplant.
All right, we can parole you in, you can do your thing.
You know, you're claiming asylum from actual religious or political persecution.
Great.
We'll take a few of you and we'll, you know, the baby on the doorstep, we'll take care of you briefly until you can go back home.
They've turned that into an operation.
They've literally turned it into an operationalized way to take people and put them into the United States.
And now they're doing it through other means, right?
Through refugee status.
If you could answer that for a little bit, and I want to hold you over the break and we're going to talk a little bit about where we're going to go going forward.
But go ahead.
unidentified
Yeah, Chip, look, you're spot on.
Look, I think you're one of the congressional members that knows more about this border than anyone else on Capitol Hill.
You're spot on.
Look, the Secretary of DHS, as well as former chiefs, have referred to their job now as a processing enterprise.
They've abandoned their law enforcement and national security mission as just simply being a federal travel agency.
chip roy
Well, hang on a second, Mark.
When we come back from the break, we're going to finish that out and then talk a little bit about how much this is trying to be done on purpose to transform our country and what we can do in January if we get it right in the election in November.
unidentified
War Room.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bamm.
It's great to be back with you.
chip roy
It's great to be again temporarily sitting in the chair occupied by Steve Bannon.
We look forward to his return right now.
We have Mark Morgan, my good friend, former FBI agent and head of Border Patrol for President Donald Trump.
And we're talking about the border.
And I teed him up right before the break to talk about the extent to which it is a purposeful effort by Democrats that they've operationalized the release of people into the United States for the abuse of parole and asylum.
Now, most of you know that because you're a smart audience, but I want him to be able to expand on what that means, why that matters, and then I'm going to go ahead and set up the next question mark, go right into it, about from there, what does it mean electorally, right?
Like, what do we do?
We win in November.
What is our marching orders?
And how does that compare of what we're going to get from the other side?
We know, right?
We're going to get more of the same, but worse.
But what we would do, let's be very specific about what we would do, and I think you can expand on that pretty well, but if you can go ahead and fill in those holes.
unidentified
Yeah, real quick, Chip, before the commercial break, you were talking about exactly what the Biden-Harris team has done as of late, especially.
This is very important because you keep hearing how the numbers have gone down.
Here's the reality.
It's just simply not true.
They diverted those numbers from in between the ports of entry to our actual ports of entry.
Let me give you two examples.
You mentioned the CBP-1 app.
They've applied it to four specific countries.
In the past two years, they've allowed over 400,000 individuals from those four select countries to fly in to one of 45 different airports rather than illegally entering in between the ports of entry.
And also at our southern border and our northern border, OFO now that oversees our ports of entry, they have seen an
average of over a hundred thousand encounters every 30 days.
That number used to hover around 15,000.
So they're not doing anything to stem the flow of illegal immigration, Chip.
They're just redirecting it.
chip roy
So if we do what we're supposed to do this fall, so voters are out there, we're out working
hard and we get President Trump elected and we get a Republican House and Republican Senate,
I mean, I'll lay out what my vision would be, right?
That on day one, the president would re-enact the Microprotection Protocols and Remain in Mexico program.
We would immediately use whatever authorities we can under Title 42 or otherwise to stem the flow and stem the tide and stop any of the releases.
We would immediately end the CBP-1 app and the abuse of the parole.
We would immediately end the abuse of asylum.
We'd immediately set out to expand what ICE has and get ICE more money to do the removals that need to be done.
You start with criminals and you start with anybody that you need to get out of this country and you start working through the process and you immediately need to pass legislation to make this permanent and to give the president greater tools.
It's not enough just to rely on the president.
Congress has to do its damn job and secure the border and we set that up with H.R.
unidentified
2.
chip roy
Do you agree?
unidentified
100%.
The only thing that I would add to that within the first 30 minutes is the president has to sign and declare a national emergency.
And then everything else you just laid out is exactly right.
I say this tongue-in-cheek.
The way to solve this is just to look at the shelf and pull off the binding that says Trump-era border security plan and reinstitute it with an injection of steroids.
And you just laid that out.
Because what you just described is the strategy of the overarching strategy of deterrence and consequence.
And then within that is a couple of additional areas.
The way we achieve that is through the application of resources and policy.
That's exactly why we were building the wall system.
That's exactly why we were instituting, as you just mentioned, the Remain in Mexico program, and we were aggressively pursuing removal of those who are in the country illegally.
Now, when you look to VP Harris during her time under this administration, what's been her stance?
She's fully supported and fully defended stopping wall construction.
We're going to be a sanctuary country, Chip.
And she has been a strong supporter of widespread amnesty instead of widespread removal.
So with Harris sitting in the White House, what you're going to get is, you're not going
to get the push for a sanctuary city or a sanctuary state.
We're going to be a sanctuary country ship.
That's where we're headed.
chip roy
So Mark, this is the most important issue for us in Texas.
I think it is arguably the most important issue for everybody across the country with the possibility of, possible exception of the inflation damage being done to the average American, American dream, the cost of housing.
But I think we need to make sure that people understand that what you just said, right?
Compare Harris and compare now Waltz, now that he's the vice presidential nominee.
And then what their record has been, right?
And what they would do.
So let's go down that list real quick.
On day one, you said declare a national emergency and execute on it.
Now, Kamala Harris has been the border czar now for almost four years, so Kamala Harris wouldn't do that, right?
Number two, in that national emergency declaration, you would immediately reinstate the Remain in Mexico program, the microprotection protocols, you would do what you need to do to stop the flow, immediately end the abuse of parole, immediately end the abuse of asylum, and do what you need to do, including the use of Title 42 or any other expansive executive powers.
Now, to be clear, not only would Kamala Harris not do that, Kamala Harris would be, along with Waltz, and along with whoever she would pick, maybe including maintaining Secretary Mayorkas, would continue these disastrous policies.
So again, we have a night and day worldview election coming up in November.
And we've got to understand, because people get frustrated, and they go out and they don't know what to say or do.
This is something you can say to the people when you're at your church, or with your family at the dinner table, when you're out talking to, you know, people in the community.
You can walk them through very clearly what a Trump administration would do to preserve and protect their country.
The fentanyl deaths, we could end the flow of fentanyl if we actually work to do it.
We could severely limit it.
We could stop terrorists from being released into our country.
We could stop criminals from being released into our country.
We can then get busy using ICE to go round up those folks, which this administration has basically gutted ICE, right?
We can't even use ICE right now to go extricate criminals from the United States.
So, I think people need to understand specifically what we would do, and specifically what they would do.
Am I missing anything in any of that characterization?
unidentified
No, look, Steve, your former guest said something that I wrote down is we may not recover based just on what the chaos and lawlessness that they've infused into our country the past three and a half years.
Chip, I'm concerned.
We may not be able to recover.
We have untold number of criminals in our country.
We have untold number of national security threats in our country.
And we have drugs in our country, enough fentanyl to kill every single American in this country multiple times over.
So as of today, I'm concerned about our ability to recover from three and a half years of damage.
If Harris gets back in the White House, her own rhetoric, her own comments gives us nothing but an indicator that she will continue these policies.
And if that's the case, our nation will not recover from four more years of this unmanageable, intentional, unmitigated chaos and lawlessness at our borders.
There's just a couple of contrasts again.
Harris, she supports widespread amnesty.
Trump supports widespread removal of those who are in the country illegally.
Vice President Harris has been fully supportive of dismantling ICE.
She actually said that entering the country illegally is not a crime.
Those are her own words.
And of course, we know that on day one, President Trump is not just going to give us the policies we need, but also the resources we need.
And again, HR2, I'm hoping that you're going to be there and you're going to be leading the fight, Chip.
We need the elements of HR2.
We need Republicans to finally come out of the shadows and be strong and show some political courage and will and get the policy across the finish line.
Because resources are not the sole answer.
We need both resources and a policy.
And I'm telling you, President Trump gets this because that's exactly what he did when he was president.
chip roy
No, Mark, that's exactly right.
And we need to have Republicans who stop giving excuses.
I'm already hearing Republicans say, but Chip, we're not going to have 60 votes in the Senate.
Enough of that.
We have an obligation to go give President Trump the tools he needs to get this done.
No excuses.
No excuses.
On January 20th next year, we get busy and Congress should act immediately.
And along those lines, could you expand and add to whatever you're about to say, we keep hearing people try to hide behind this ridiculous so-called bipartisan bill in January.
Can you please decimate, I know the audience roughly gets it, but remind them, because they keep hearing it, that this would have codified, it would have codified the disastrous Biden-Harris-Mayorkas policies, it would have codified releases, codified the asylum policies, codified the abuse of the laws to release people to the United States.
It's a fake bill that we were right to oppose, and President Trump came out and dropped the hammer on it, thankfully, and killed it in the cradle before it was able to get out.
unidentified
Chip, that's exactly right.
I couldn't have said it better myself.
Everyone that understands what we need with respect to secure borders that we just outlined here in the past couple of minutes was not contained in what I call the Lanford Bill.
It was not a serious border security bill at all.
What was, was H.R.
2 that we discussed, that the House passed back in March.
It's been over a year.
And so this is the big lie that gets me frustrated.
This administration, they keep talking about the Lankford bill as the bipartisan bill.
Again, it was a joke, but they failed to mention the H.R.
2.
It was the strongest piece of border security legislation that's ever been passed in either chamber of Congress, and I believe in our lifetime.
and it went across on the Senate side and Chuck Schumer threw it in the trash can,
refused to even put it on the floor for discussion.
So if the Republicans wanted this, the immigration and the border crisis,
this is so-called issue from November, then why did they pass the strongest piece
of border security legislation in our lifetime?
If the Senate would have actually passed it and the president signed it back in March,
Chip, I don't think we'd be having this discussion because I think 80% of the chaos and lawlessness
would have been stopped if H.R. 2 would have been on the floor and it would have passed.
chip roy
So Mark, I've got about three minutes for the next break and I'm gonna have my friend Victoria Coates.
I think you know Victoria.
She's a former Deputy National Security Advisor for President Trump, an expert on Middle East policy and foreign affairs.
You were in the FBI for a number of years before you worked in Border Patrol and worked in Homeland Security.
Can you lay out the concern that you have, that I know you have, and that I have, about the dangers posed to our country?
Because of what we're seeing with these wide open borders and the release of millions of people in the United States from all over the world.
I mean, again, those terrorist watch lists, I mean, the number of people that they came from, the countries that they came from, 36 different countries, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Somalia, Syria, Yemen.
These are not our best buddies.
Right?
These are not our friends.
And yet you have 36 countries, 99 terrorist watchlist people released into the United States.
We don't even know in the God of ways.
You watch what's happening in the United Kingdom.
unidentified
Right?
chip roy
You watch what's happening in London.
You watch what's happening in Europe.
Western Europe and Western civilization are under attack.
Our country is under attack.
Now, in your experience in the FBI, but even a step beyond that, as an American, culturally, in terms of who we are as a country, Do you agree that our way of life is under assault?
And that if we don't act now, if we don't win this election, but here's the important part.
If we win the election, deliver in January.
Congress has to stand behind President Trump and deliver to secure the border.
And with this minute and a half, can you expand on that?
I appreciate you, my friend.
unidentified
Yeah, look, if Congress doesn't do their job, we're going to keep, it's going to be rinse and repeat.
Anytime there's a change in administration, Everything that was inactive in the executive order is going to be undone.
So Congress needs to get off their ass and do their job once and for all with this border.
But look, to your perspective right now, just listen to the national security threat real quick, is that the terrorist organization, their commitment to bring harm to our homeland is alive and well.
In fact, the director of the FBI says he sees blinking red lights every single day.
He has warned us repeatedly about the national security vulnerabilities of the open border.
DHS's own report says the terrorist organization are looking to exploit the invasion level of illegal immigration crossing our border.
The issue isn't if or when the national security threat comes to our country.
Chip, it's already here.
And this administration is sticking their head in the sand at the end of the day.
And we know why.
This is about votes.
That's all this is about.
It's about perpetual political power, and they're jeopardizing our nation's safety and national security to get it.

Well, Mark, thanks for all you've done to defend our country.
Thanks for your service to the FBI.
Thanks for your service as the head of Border Patrol.
Thanks for what you're doing now.
If y'all don't know it, he's a great ally.
He's out there working alongside our good friend, mutual friend Tom Homan and others to make sure we get President Trump re-elected.
But importantly, let's have the policies in place that we know we need to have in place once we get back in power in January.
We need to actually do our job.
Mark, God bless you.
See you soon, brother.

Here's your host, Stephen K. Bamm.
♪♪ Well, good morning, friends.

Again, great to be sitting temporarily in the chair that Steve Bannon has been sitting in to fight for you.
And now he's fighting for you from a prison cell because he loves his country and he knows what's important in fighting tyranny.
And I've got a dear friend, Victoria Coates, who serves as Deputy National Security Advisor for President Trump.
She is an art historian.
She is a lover of baseball, even though it's the Phillies.
We'll forgive that part.
But she's a good friend and she's an expert on Middle East policy, but importantly just generally on national security policy.
And I want Victoria, especially on the heels of that great conversation we just had with Mark Morgan, about the danger being posed to our country.
And again, we set this whole thing up talking about this being a worldview election.
Right?
That we have different worldviews.
Okay?
And I started with my friend Steve Dace talking about that.
We now talk to Mark Morgan about the border issue and how it is purposeful.
They are using the law.
They are abusing the law to purposely release people to the United States and transform our country.
That's what's happening.
We see it in real time.
We just had a hundred people on the terrorist watch list released in the United States from countries from all over the world.
Not our friends, right?
Yemen, Afghanistan, from all over the place.
And so my question for you, Victoria, is you're a student of this.
You're a historian and you know Western civilization, you know Europe.
We've got this article where Tim Walz, the first big decision that Kamala Harris makes is to pick Tim Walz.
An avowed socialist, putting aside his dubious military background and the stuff that's been going on with those questions, he repeatedly hosted a Muslim cleric who celebrated October 7th and shared a pro-Hitler website link.
That article is out and about.
He has been open in what he's talking about, praising Ilhan Omar, saying, oh, I'm just, I get all emotional thinking about that we have Ilhan Omar in Congress.
Yeah, well, so do I, but for different reasons and from a different perspective.
Victoria, can you expand on the danger posed to our country with what's happening in this march against Western civilization, what we're seeing unfold on the streets of the United Kingdom, what we're seeing in Western Europe, and that that's coming to America if we don't act right now, this year, in this worldview election?
unidentified
Well, Chip, great to be with you.
I wish, for different circumstances, I wish Steve were on vacation rather than, as you said, fighting for us from a prison cell.
I was honored to serve with him.
In the Trump administration and President Trump's White House, and there's no one who fights harder for the American people.
So Steve, we're thinking about you and praying for your safety.
The issue you raise is critical, and I'm proud to have Mark as a colleague at the Heritage Foundation.
And one point I'd make about how we approach the border issue just generally, Is that for the left, this is some kind of abstract social experiment.
For the right, for conservatives, this is an issue of national security, which is why our president, Dr. Kevin Roberts, put the Border and Immigration Group into the Davis Institute, into the national security element.
of the Heritage Foundation, and I think that is the critical distinction.
We understand what is happening to our country.
And you look at Governor Walz and his record.
This isn't just an anti-Semitic issue, which it was.
The only reason they didn't pick Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, is because he's Jewish and because their base tends very anti-Semitic.
But this goes a step further.
By choosing Waltz, you're actually going with somebody who is pro-Islamist.
And this radical cleric that's in the Washington Examiner today, Assad Zaman, is somebody who is very much part of the Ilan Omar crowd in Minneapolis.
This is the very heavily Somali population that is highly radicalized.
And they are going to pander to this base.
They are not going to do anything.
to secure our border and to prevent additional terrorists from coming into our country.
And that's when things start to fall apart, and we are seeing it in real time in Europe.
I mean, fingers crossed we get through the next 48 hours of the Olympics in Paris without a major incident, but that's really by the grace of God, because we see what's happening in the United Kingdom.
We see the terror plots against Taylor Swift, of all people.
These people are coming for us, and if we don't take action, as you say, in November, if we don't pay attention to this election, we are going to be too far gone to recover.
chip roy
So, this march of Islam through Western Europe, the United Kingdom, if I understand correctly, if I remember right, it's about 6% Muslim, about 4 million.
And France is a lot higher.
Now, we're nowhere near those kinds of numbers here.
What would you make of what that means for the direction of our country in terms of making policies, right?
From Sharia law to the way we structure our society, right?
We just had Iraq where we had thousands of our brave men and women go fight for because our government asked them to.
And we just had Iraq vote to allow nine-year-old girls to get married.
Right?
I mean, I just, I can't, I'm just beside myself that this is actually a thing.
And that, you know, we have people over there fighting and dying so that we can leave that as the legacy.
My point there is, is that's what's coming to Western Europe.
Right?
That's what's coming our direction.
So the question here is, what do you think as we look forward and we're looking ahead to January?
We know how radical Kamala Harris is.
We know how radical Waltz is.
But crystallize for the listener here what you think is at stake for our country as it relates to our national security and the extent to which the globe is destabilized.
But it's not just random.
It's not just random.
It is purposeful.
It's driven.
There is an entire march on the way against our way of life.
unidentified
Oh, absolutely.
And, you know, Vice President Harris and now Governor Walz really represent this radical difference in approach.
And one thing that's really struck me, Chip, is coming up over the course of the next couple of months, between September 14th and October 7th, so just a three-week basically period, We're going to mark two really critical anniversaries, which I think can crystallize this difference in the minds of your listeners, which is on September 14th, we will have the five-year anniversary of the signing of the Abraham Accords on the lawn of the White House.
I was honored to be there to play a small part in setting those deals up.
The first peace deals between Israel, Bahrain, UAE, two obviously Muslim-majority nations, the first peace deals in 25 years, in a quarter century, such a joyful day, even in the midst of COVID,
to have peace breaking out.
That was the result of the four years that President Trump was in office.
Then fast forward three weeks to October 7th, we will have the one year anniversary
of the worst terrorist attack in Israel's history, which also killed dozens of Americans,
some of whom are actually still being held hostage.
And I expect we'll be on that one year anniversary, including Americans.
And so this is the difference in policy.
You can either stand strongly with Israel.
And one of the things I worked with Steve on was moving the embassy.
chip roy
Well, Victoria, thank you, and that was one of the great wins of the Trump administration.
Thank you for your service in the Trump administration.
Thank you for what you did along with President Trump to make sure that we were living in a peaceful world, peace through strength, not endless wars.
Have a strong military sparingly used.
Make sure you send that signal around the world, and that is how you make things work.
