That contrast, President Biden and you have both warned that democracy is at stake in this election.
That if Trump wins the second term, women's rights will continue to be decimated.
That international alliances will be frayed, that's to say the least.
That your work, rebuilding the middle class, will be destroyed.
That rights for minorities will be rolled back.
If the contrast is so obvious, what's going on?
Why does it pull so closely?
Why is the race so close?
These races are always close.
It's the election of the President of the United States.
And everyone in an election for President of the United States will critically examine all of the issues and make a decision.
unidentified
|
But at the end of the day, we're going to win.
We're going to win. | ||
You're confident? | ||
It's not going to be easy, and we're going to win.
I think, well, you know, if things don't work out, we could always move back here and be just fine.
We're going to win this election.
We have to win this election.
Literally, our country and our world depends on us winning this election.
That's what's going to happen.
Joining me now is Caroline Levitch.
She is Trump campaign national press secretary.
Caroline, thanks very much for being here on the show.
We played that to remind everyone that that was some of what they saw on the debate stage in 2020.
Of course, President Trump went on to lose that election to Joe Biden.
Can you tell us what Donald Trump is going to do differently on the debate stage this time?
Sure. | ||
Well, President Trump is well prepared ahead of Thursday's debates.
Unlike Joe Biden, he doesn't have to hide away and have his advisors tell him what to say.
President Trump knows what he wants to say, and he's going to relay his vision to the American people to make this country strong, safe, secure, and wealthy again.
He's been doing that across this great nation to all corners of this country.
That's why he was in Detroit, Michigan last week.
He was in Philadelphia for a big rally on Saturday night, and that's why President Trump is knowingly going into a hostile environment on this very network on CNN with debate moderators who have made their opinions about him very well known over the past eight years and their biased coverage of him.
So President Trump is willing to bring his message to every corner of this country, to voters, to ensure that he wins this election in November.
He looks forward to doing that and I know the American public look forward to hearing from him.
So I'll just say my colleagues Jake Tapper and Dana Bash have acquitted themselves as professionals as they have covered campaigns and interviewed candidates from all sides of the aisle.
I'll also say that if you talk to analysts of debates previous, that if you're attacking the moderators, you're usually losing.
So I really want to focus in on what these two men are going to do and say when they stand on the stage.
Now, we have a little bit of what Donald Trump, your boss, has said.
Maybe I'm better off losing the debate.
I'll make sure he says I'll lose the debate on purpose.
Maybe I'll do something like that.
I assume he's going to be somebody that will be a worthy debater.
Should I be tough and nasty and just say you're the worst president in history?
Or should I be nice and calm and let him speak?
So he's basically saying there, well, will I let Joe Biden win?
It does seem as though many Republicans have set the bar very low in terms of arguing that Joe Biden is basically senile.
Now you have people like Doug Burgum coming out and saying, well, President Biden is very accomplished, trying to set expectations in a different place.
What do you expect from Joe Biden?
Well, first of all, it takes someone five minutes to Google Jake Tapper, Donald Trump, to see that Jake Tapper has consistently... Ma'am, we're going to stop this interview if you're going to keep attacking my colleagues.
Ma'am, I'm going to stop this interview if you continue to attack my colleagues.
I would like to talk about Joe Biden and Donald Trump, who you work for.
Yes. | ||
If you are here to speak on his behalf, I am willing to have this conversation.
I am stating facts that your colleagues have stated in the past.
Now, I'm sorry, guys, we're going to come back out to the panel.
Caroline, thank you very much for your time.
You are welcome to come back at any point.
She is welcome to come back and speak about Donald Trump.
And Donald Trump will have equal time to Joe Biden when they both join us now at next early later this week in Atlanta for this debate.
Our thanks to Caroline.
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
Pray for our enemies. | ||
unidentified
|
Because we're going medieval on these people.
I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen. | ||
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
|
MAGA Media. | |
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
|
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
|
War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bamm.
It's Monday, 24 June in the year of our Lord 2024.
You're in the War Room. | ||
We had a lot of things we were going to start with today, given it's a historic week at the Supreme Court on politics, these wars that are expanding moment by moment.
But we have to go back just to good old-fashioned politics.
I've never seen anything like this in my entire life.
Caroline Leavitt, This audience knows Caroline.
She's been on the show hundreds of times, both as running in a congressional primary, as a congressional candidate, as spokesman for various PACs, for President Trump, and just a leading member of MAGA, of the Make America Great movement.
Now she is national press secretary for President Trump and his campaign.
Let me repeat that. | ||
She is national press secretary.
This is not a grundoon. | ||
This is not somebody just up there for an opinion.
This is one of the most senior officials in the entire Trump campaign and one of the most senior advisors to President Trump.
Caroline, thank you. | ||
And I've really got to say this.
Obviously, this clip's going around.
This happened this morning.
Everybody, the feedback I get from all the War Room Posse and from everybody seeing this is just your, as always, your total class, total composure, discernment, all of it.
We're so proud of you, of how you represented the President, how you represented MAGA, how you represented yourself.
With Cassie Hunt just out of control.
But I want to get to the heart of it, is that how are we possibly having a debate with a network that's so biased that they show absolutely no respect to the President's National Press Secretary when you were bringing up what we refer to as news items.
It is a news story and a news item that Jake Tapper hates President Trump and has a history of it on social media.
Same with Dana Bash. | ||
How can they not address that?
And why are we in Atlanta, ma'am, with CNN, who controls the microphone on Thursday?
Caroline Levin. | ||
unidentified
|
Steve, it's great to see you.
And we're in Atlanta on Thursday because President Trump delivers on his promises, and he said, Repeatedly came from him.
He will debate Joe Biden anytime, anywhere, anyplace.
And so here we are. | ||
We're headed to Atlanta Thursday night.
But CNN showed their hand with me on their network this morning.
The fact that they cut off my microphone simply for repeating words that Jake Tapper himself has said lies about President Trump.
Jake Tapper can go on the air and spew those lies all they want.
But when I simply try to repeat them, which is relevant because he's a moderator at Thursday's debate, they cut me off and kicked me off.
It was honestly shocking what occurred this morning.
But it shows that this is not going to be a fair debate on Thursday.
And President Trump knows that, Steve.
He knows that. | ||
He knows he's going into a lion's den.
It's going to be a three-on-one fight with Crooked Joe, who's been getting doped up and hiding away in the woods at Camp David all week, and Dana Bash and Jake Tapper.
But it just speaks to President Trump's determination and resolve.
This was his decision. | ||
He's determined to go for it and bring his winning message to voters across this country, and God bless him for doing it.
Okay, I want to get to the facts of Tapper and Danabash, but I would never correct Caroline Leavitt, and I certainly would never correct the National Press Secretary of President Trump, but they didn't cut off your mic.
They dumped you and went to another break.
I've never seen such disrespect.
They have never in the history of television, ever, Ever taken a national press secretary and treated her with such lack of respect.
Cassie Hunt owes you an apology.
CNN owes you an apology today.
And we don't get that apology to Caroline Leavitt and to the Trump campaign and to MAGA today.
President Trump should cancel this.
It's not three-on-one.
They have the entire news apparatus because she had to produce.
You know, Caroline, you've done so much TV.
She had a producer in her ear saying, you know, cut her off, cut her off, cut her off.
Because you had the facts.
Tell me, what is your beef?
What is Caroline Leavitt's beef with Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, ma'am?
unidentified
|
Well, I thought you were going to ask what my beef with Kasey Hunt is.
I was going to say, I don't have any.
I've never even met this woman.
I was brought on the program to simply talk about debate prep.
And again, we thought it was fair game to bring up past statements that Jake Tapper especially has made about
Donald Trump in the past.
For instance, after Joe Biden was installed in the White House, Jake Tapper said that
the long national nightmare of Donald Trump's presidency has finally come to an end.
Jake Tapper was one of the lead voices pushing the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax, which we
now obviously, we always knew it all along, but CNN has been forced to admit that was
manufactured by Hillary Clinton and the Democrats.
Jake Tapper allowed Joe Biden to lie on CNN years ago, and I wanted to bring this up this morning, but time didn't allow.
I hope CNN will ask Joe Biden if he wants to correct himself when he said on CNN four years ago that the Hunter Biden laptop was disinformation.
Jake Tapper allowed him to spew this lie. Jake Tapper has pushed the
Charlottesville hoax lie that they've been ramming against President Trump for years. He
also has frequently compared President Trump to Hitler. So this is a guy who has clearly
made his opinions about President Trump. No, it's not me making that up. This is who he is.
He's an anti-Trump leftist who's a former Democrat staffer. Yet he's given the privilege of
hosting this debate. | ||
And so I thought it was worthy bringing those comments up.
Clearly, CNN doesn't want their audience to know the truth about Fake Tapper.
They want people to believe they're truly the most trusted name in news, yet they can't even handle a spokesperson for the leading candidate in this race bringing up facts and truths about what one of their debate moderators have said.
Let's go back to that, to the incident itself.
You brought up facts. | ||
It's not insurmountable for CNN to argue, I'm not saying it's correct, but why did they go to the nuclear option?
If you go back and deconstruct that, literally a producer's blown in her ear immediately.
They're so sensitive to this.
Caroline, you were off.
I think they made the decision in 15 seconds.
Why are they so sensitive to the fact that they would take the, let me repeat, she's not coming on as a supporter of Trump.
She's not coming on as a former congressional candidate.
She's not coming on as one of the top people in the MAGA and the Trump movement.
She's coming on as the National Press Secretary for Donald J. Trump and his campaign.
Which they would treat everybody else, they'd get down, oh you guys are so special.
What was it that you said that she wouldn't even take as a news person, well let me hear those facts, let me deal with that.
But to not just cut your mic off, but to dump you from the show and essentially go to a panel or a commercial break, ma'am.
unidentified
|
Well, they are triggered by the truth.
That's what it comes down to.
CNN is a propaganda network for the Democrat Party and for Joe Biden.
They have pushed endless lies about President Trump, like I said, from Russia hoax to the Charlottesville lie to the Hunter Biden laptop.
They've covered for Joe Biden over the last several years.
They don't talk about his crisis at the border, honestly.
They don't highlight the migrant crimes that are ravaging this country, taking the lives of innocent Americans.
They don't honestly take a look at what's going on in this world with war in Ukraine, war in the Middle East because of Joe Biden's weakness in foreign policy.
They blame Donald Trump for all of the problems that the American people are facing, even though he hasn't been in office for three and a half years.
And so, again, they try to pretend like they are this unbiased news network, but it just simply is not the case.
And again, I think it just speaks to my boss's And President Trump's determination and courage to walk into an atmosphere like that on Thursday night and still being willing to go to bat.
And when he gets punched, he punches back 10 times harder.
But again, whether Cassie Hunt just simply couldn't handle it anymore, whether there was a producer in her ear, which if you look back at the clip, it does seem like that was the case.
She clearly showed CNN's cards.
I mean, she literally proved our point by dumping me off the air.
It was shocking. | ||
And, you know, Steve, as you know, when you do these television hits, my monitor actually didn't show me her body language.
So I didn't realize how fragile she was getting.
And I thought I was still on the air.
So I was talking about immigration and inflation and our message moving forward with her question, what she wanted to know.
And then I get the producer in my ear saying, hey, sorry, we cut you.
I went upstairs and watched on my own television.
Wow. | ||
It was shocking, to say the least.
Caroline, can you just hang on for one second?
Because this will be the most watched television program maybe in history this Thursday.
As you know, we've been quite strong advocates here in the War Room about what are we even doing here?
And they proved it today.
The control room controls this.
It's not President Trump going to three-on-one.
He's going in against an entire media apparatus, one of the most powerful media apparatus in the world, that are setting a trap for him to come in there and to control it because Biden can't take Trump on himself.
We're gonna take a short commercial break.
The National Press Secretary for President Trump and his campaign, Caroline Levin, will join us after a short commercial break.
unidentified
|
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bamm.
To show we're equal opportunity on this, it's not just about CNN.
We're going to pivot in a second and go to Fox and what Fox is pulling over the weekend with Karl Rove and these bogus numbers and all this.
We'll get to it in a second.
This is not because CNN is a left-wing propaganda arm.
We're going after Fox too.
So I just want to be sure everybody knows, equal opportunity here.
This is also, let me be blunt about this, this is not about Jake Tapper.
This is not about Dana Bash.
This is not about Cassie Hunt.
This is not even about Caroline Leavitt.
Take the personalities out.
These are about billets and about institutions.
The institution of CNN owes the National Press Secretary for Donald J. Trump and his campaign an apology.
The producer, the segment producer, Cassie Hunt, CNN, the CEO, they owe an apology.
And they owe a commitment that that will never happen again, no matter what the topic is.
If that can't be it, then why?
In the campaign, Caroline, you have Jason Miller, Stephen Chung, Chris LaCivita, Susie Wiles.
You have experienced, practical, no-nonsense, let's get on with it, right?
Let's get it done. | ||
Low-cost operation, as you know, low overhead.
Uh, senior people, and I think it's now time the senior people got a way in here, not to protect you, but to protect the institution of Trump's campaign and what is going to be the second term.
If we let them get away with this, this just shows them, yeah, okay, fine, you can just take punches on Trump's second term because they're coming.
This Thursday debate is totally 100% rigged.
They've got control of the microphone, and now they'll show you, and please tell me where the unreasonable debate is.
I would like you to repeat, National Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt, just Jake Tapper's, the couple things you put out about Jake Tapper a minute ago, and please tell me public that that is not worthy of a discussion, not to be cut off.
Just repeat that, just do the Jake Tapper thing again, will you Caroline?
unidentified
|
Yeah, most heinously. | |
He has compared President Trump to Hitler multiple times on various occasions.
He pushed the Hunter Biden laptop Russian collusion lie, which we know was not a smear campaign by Russia, like Joe Biden and Jake Tapper like to say it was real.
Jake Tapper has never apologized for that.
Jake Tapper was one of the lead voices in the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax, the Charlottesville lie that has also been debunked just yesterday by a left-wing fact checker.
And Jake Tapper described President Trump's presidency as a long American nightmare.
Those are his words, not mine.
These are opinions that he has made evident on CNN, on air.
Yet they don't want spokespeople and defenders of the president to go on that same network And bring them up.
It is you know it speaks to a larger problem we have in this country.
Steve as you were just pointing out that we have an entire institution in this country the fake news mainstream media that covers up the truth and pushes lies in the bias of omission is arguably the most dangerous bias of all because they will refuse to just Let anyone talk about these truths that they don't want their audience to know, whether it's truths about Jake Tapper, whether it's truths about migrant illegal criminal aliens who are brutally raping and murdering innocent civilians across this country.
You know, they they don't want to report on those facts because they don't want Americans to know about them.
And it is it's a quite it's quite scary.
It's communism, really.
An organizing principle, when you talk about businesses and you do financial analysis and talk about financing businesses, you always go back to what's the organizing principle of this business?
The organizing principle of CNN is a hatred of Donald Trump in the MAGA movement.
To the core of their being, they hate, not disagree, not have policy differences, they hate Donald J. Trump.
And they hate the MAGA movement.
Now, Caroline, I've known you for many years.
You're not somebody who's ever going to defend yourself.
You're just going to get on with it.
But I tell you, for this audience, we need to now, we need to contact the Trump, like I said, the Trump team is pound for pound, as best as you could ever get.
These are hard-nosed, tough people.
This thing with CNN, Caroline Leavitt, in all her class, in discernment, in judgment, today approved a point that Cassie Hunt, one of the rising stars over there, right, for their big early morning show, one of their rising stars, and the producer in her ear, made an institutional choice Not to actually discuss and debate facts, but to not just cut the mic, but to totally dump, with no respect, they've not contacted her.
This is not acceptable.
It's not acceptable as an institution.
It's not acceptable for the Trump second term.
It's not acceptable for Trump's campaign today, for the institution of CNN.
And let me say the quiet part out loud.
Donald J. Trump gave CNN, from a business perspective, a life preserver.
It is a dying business. | ||
It's sinking. | ||
It's missing its numbers.
And Trump went and said, CNN, you can do it first.
It'll be the most watched political event, I think, in modern history.
And President Trump graciously Graciously, because he's a class guy, went and did that and essentially bailed out.
What he's doing on Thursday will bail them out for the entire year.
And you see the raw hatred and disrespect they have for MAGA, for the American people, even from people on the left that should have had the opportunity to hear Caroline Leavitt and have Cassie Hunt blow her out of the water.
unidentified
|
Right. | |
Caroline, how do people follow you and follow this?
Because this is going to be a firestorm right now, I can guarantee you.
I've never seen our audience more upset about anything here recently.
Where do people go to follow you at the campaign on social media?
unidentified
|
Well, thank you. | |
And we love the War Room and the War Room Posse.
I'll tell you, Steve, I go on a lot of TV shows, but no TV show has a more loyal audience than yours.
When I'm in the grocery store in my home state of New Hampshire, wherever I am, people come up to me and say that they're part of the Posse and they watch this show.
But you can follow our campaign at Trump War Room, Team Trump.
You can follow me at KLevittNH, as in my home state of New Hampshire.
And we appreciate what you do so very much.
We don't expect an apology.
From CNN, for the record.
I'm sure they'll continue to defend their veteran journalists who are so honest.
By the way, you're beloved by this audience.
The reason is you've been a fighter since you came on here many years ago as a very young woman.
No, we have to have it or you don't show.
I think it's it's institutionally because this is deeper.
This was not cutting off Caroline Leavitt.
This was dumping the Trump campaign on what are issues of the day.
How can you possibly expect that these things will be fair?
They either apologize to the campaign, they apologize to the president and they apologize to you or let them let them get Joe Biden.
Let's see what kind of audience they draw with Joe Biden up there, ma'am.
unidentified
|
They won't have one, that's for sure.
They need President Trump.
They need him for his ratings, and as you mentioned, it's their entire business model to talk about him.
And one more thing on Jake Tapper.
He is the host on CNN who has also not just—they haven't just dumped me, they've dumped President Trump's speeches all the time.
He'll be mid-speech, and Jake Tapper has clicked it off and said, enough of that.
Like, he can't stand to hear President Trump talking about making this country wealthy and safe and prosperous again.
They have such a disdain.
For President Trump and for MAGA, as you said, it's clear as day.
And the fact that they try to pretend like people are stupid enough to believe that they don't is honestly laughable.
Caroline Leavitt, we'll have a lot more to say throughout the day, ma'am.
Thank you for your class and smarts and toughness.
Thank you, ma'am. | ||
unidentified
|
Thanks, we'll see you soon.
This is the young generation of MAGA right there.
She represents the young generation of MAGA.
I hate to say, let's go back to the old saying, no good deed goes unpunished.
President Trump threw him a life raft.
It's not possible for CNN to make it unless they had something like this.
President Trump gave him the biggest bonanza, the biggest windfall in In modern media business history.
You're taking a network that can't give away its advertising.
Why can't it give away its advertising?
Have you seen the primetime of CNN?
Have you seen the primetime of CNN?
Who... I mean, Aaron Burnett's whole show now is fetishizing about my prison sentence.
Come on, ma'am. | ||
It's like, it's not that big a deal.
Okay? | ||
It's not that big a deal.
This is what they pass for news today.
The immaturity, lack of judgment, lack of new sense, total bias, and it's not just Trump.
They hate the American people.
They're too awfully, awfully... Remember, CNN really thinks they're the party of Davos' network.
They're much more comfortable in London, reporting from London, reporting from Davos, from Milan, from Rome, from Paris, or from more exotic locales throughout the world, where they think they're the modern version of the BBC.
This is what they've always done, this big global network, the leader in global news.
unidentified
|
CNN sucks. | |
Here's how you know it sucks.
We curate both of them, and we play 90% MSNBC.
Why is that? | ||
Because they're only 100 times better than CNN.
Don't get me wrong, they hate us, but they do a professional job in their hatred.
They do a very good job about breaking down MAGA and what they perceive to be the evils of MAGA and the evils of Trump and the evils of all of it.
And it's well produced and informed.
And I tell people, if you're MAGA, you can learn a lot by watching MSNBC.
Now, you've got to get through the hate, but once you get past that, you'll start to learn some things.
The most ridiculous is when they have these 30 people panels because they don't have confidence.
They don't have confidence in their producing ability for news.
You don't need 30 people on a panel saying two things about a debate.
It's ridiculous. | ||
It's stupid. | ||
It shows you lack self-confidence.
It's a channel and a network that has no self-confidence in what they do.
This thing is totally rigged.
They must apologize to the Trump campaign.
It's not just Caroline Leavitt, it's the National Press Secretary.
Never in the history of media, ever, have they ever cut off and dumped a National Press Secretary that was actually sitting there talking about things that are facts.
Those facts about Jake Tapper are incontrovertible.
Now, you can spin it, you can have a thing, and Cassie Hunt should have done that, and they should have been prepared for it.
They weren't prepared for it.
And to know they're not prepared for it shows you how unprofessional they are, and how much they hate Trump, and how much they disrespect MAGA.
This morning you got pure and complete and total disrespect.
So why should the President of the United States, who had the 2020 election stolen, why should he walk into a trap, and they're basically near their corporate headquarters down there, a trap with no audience, and they control the mic?
The same Yahoo Schmendrick in the control room that cut off and dumped Caroline Leavitt will have control of President Trump's mic and ability to cut away?
No. | ||
No. | ||
Impossible. | ||
Impossible. | ||
It's totally rigged. | ||
Short break. | ||
We're going to take on Fox next.
unidentified
|
The stakes are for journalists if Trump is re-elected.
Is that something you worry about and you've been focusing on your show?
I think about it. | ||
Kash Patel, who's a key Trump spokesperson, who may have a cabinet position if Donald Trump becomes president, has said, we will go after journalists civilly and criminally.
Which I think is interesting.
What you see in places like the ones you described, other parts of the world, two things.
One is they do sometimes go after journalists criminally.
This has happened to Maria Ressa in the Philippines who has won a Nobel Prize for her work in terms of criticizing the government.
We hear stories about it at the Committee to Protect Journalists.
You know, journalists who walk around their own countries always with a bulletproof vest because they're worried about the government.
But the harassment is another department.
It's the idea that suddenly you're getting audited or suddenly your family's getting phone calls or threats.
You don't have to implement laws.
You just have to scare enough journalists off to say, go cover something else.
Go back to covering economics like I did.
Go cover sports. | ||
Go cover Cooking, or whatever the case is, don't cover us critically.
But this fits into something that Donald Trump has been saying about going after his enemies.
He uses the term retribution.
I am your retribution, which sort of mocks what Mussolini said.
I'm your avenger. | ||
So I do think about this.
I think if you fall into the category of critic, that might mean journalist, might be an opposition leader, might mean prosecutor, might mean witness, might mean juror.
Alright, now I know a lot of these folks who also shared your same concerns about Donald Trump have sort of said, alright, we're rallying around Donald Trump.
You had said, though, that would not be the case with you.
You had said that he's a populist and an authoritarian narcissist, that character is too important to me, and it's a job that requires the kind of character he just doesn't have.
That's pretty strong. | ||
Yeah, that's the way I feel.
I agree with that. | ||
I don't support Biden either.
I think his policies are terrible.
I hate the fact that I feel I've got to write in a Republican like I did the last time in 2020.
I voted for him in 2016, hoping that there was going to be a different kind of person in office.
And I do think character is a really important issue.
If you put yourself above the Constitution, as he has done... But what happened?
What turned you on? | ||
Is this the whole January 6th thing?
That's a part of it. | ||
I think it's a contribution of factors.
But I think it really is just character at the end of the day.
And the fact that if you're willing to put yourself above the Constitution, an oath you swear when you take office in federal office, whether it's president or a member of Congress, you swear an oath to the Constitution.
And if you're willing to suborn it to yourself, I think that makes you unfit for office.
Well, so I want you to start out with that Fox News poll.
I know it's only one poll, but this would suggest, with some other evidence, that there's been some movement towards Joe Biden since the felony conviction of President Trump.
You agree? | ||
I agree. | ||
In fact, take a look at the evidence.
Here it is. | ||
These are the polls since June 1st.
If they're in red, Donald Trump won them.
If they're in blue, Joe Biden is leading.
And if they're in green, it's a tie.
And take a look from the first of the month where it's Trump up by one, Trump up by two, Trump up by one, Biden up by one, a tie.
Trump up by two, Biden up by two, tie.
Biden up by two. | ||
So there's been a trend since the May 30th guilty verdict in the New York case.
In fact, if you look at the real clear politics national average, which is 11 polls, national average, it's Trump up by one half of 1%.
And if you look inside that, the 11 polls, number nine, excuse me, number 11 has them up by five points.
And excuse me, number nine has him up by five points and number 11 has him up by two.
When those get moved out, assuming that we continue to see close numbers, we're likely to see that lead dissipate because the most recent polls have had Biden ahead.
Karl Rove goes on and says Trump's not going to win in November.
So you've seen this is Fox making their move.
Cash Patel joins us. | ||
Cash, obviously from Brother Velchi's, and all weekend they're pounding Cash Patel as a principal thinker of the MAGA movement and President Trump.
You've got an explosive story exclusive on The Gateway Pundit, specifically about a sitting member of the board of directors, which you broke here a little bit on, I think it was Friday or Saturday, about Paul Ryan, a board member at Fox.
And people should understand this.
CNN has set a trap for President Trump on Thursday, and they should either apologize, and President Trump should be a no-show, and should show no respect to him.
Don't even tell him. | ||
Just don't show. | ||
Let him have Joe Biden up there and see how that plays.
See what their advertisers say about that.
But Fox is even worse. | ||
They're pushing the narrative now, before the sentencing, that President Trump cannot win re-election.
And they've got a board of directors member who's driving this, Paul Ryan.
Talk to me about the crimes of Paul Ryan, because what you're talking about, I think, is a crime, Kash Patel.
It's great to be with you, Steve.
And look, what I want to focus on is Speaker Paul Ryan, who said character was the reason he did not vote for Donald Trump and will not support Donald Trump.
Well, let's look at your character, Speaker Paul Ryan, and rewind the tape to 2016.
And I remind your audience, Nobody knew the depths of Russiagate then.
Nobody knew that the FBI, the Hillary Clinton campaign, the DNC, and so many others in the media collaborated to unlawfully surveil Trump's campaign.
It was being done under the cabal at the FBI, DOJ, and mainstream media.
But once the Steele dossier was leaked by BuzzFeed in January of 2017, Paul Ryan, as Speaker of the House, ordered his Select Committee on Intelligence to investigate fully all matters related to Russia collusion and the Russian investigation and the Steele dossier.
And this again was before anyone knew that the FBI FISA's against Trump campaign were soaked with remnants and lies from the Steele dossier.
So I was brought on as a chief investigator and our mandate was simple.
Find out the truth. | ||
Who is connected to the Steele dossier?
Who paid for it? | ||
How did it get to the FBI?
Anyone had a relation for it.
We put 70 witnesses under oath in the latter parts of 17 and 18 to get this information.
But here's the kicker. | ||
Paul Ryan and his chief of staff were one of the first people at the end of 2016, early 2017, to get the entire Steele dossier.
They got their eyes and ears on the entire Steele dossier.
As Speaker of the House, he ordered us to investigate the Steele dossier and never told us he possessed it the entire time, or at least its contents.
And his Chief of Staff then would go on the air and issue the ultimate DC deflection by stating, oh, I didn't get it from Christopher Steele directly, and this was resulting litigation in British and American courts for my investigation of Russiagate that forced Jonathan Birx, Paul Ryan's then Chief of Staff, to say, but I did know about it.
You mean we reported to you, the Speaker of the House, and his Chief of Staff directly, as is pursuant to the chain of command in Congress, and you sat there and lied to us for a year every week when we told you we were taking apart the Steele dossier page by page?
You had it? | ||
We would have asked him who gave it to you.
Why did you take it? | ||
Why didn't you tell us? | ||
Was there money involved?
There's so many other questions, and this guy Paul Ryan wants to talk to us today about Donald Trump's character.
You, as the Speaker of the House of the United States Congress, lied to the American people and jerry-rigged an investigation before it ever started because you despise Donald Trump.
You have an ultimate failure.
In a leadership position in service to this country, and your character has been blown open completely by your unethical, unlawful, and untruthful conduct.
And Speaker Paul Ryan and his Chief of Staff and others need to be put under oath immediately.
Immediately. | ||
And didn't he also force one of the smartest guys I've known about intelligence, Devin Nunez, didn't he force Nunez, knowing what he knew about the Steele dossier, and didn't tell the intelligence committee chief investigator, didn't tell the Republican head chairman of the committee, he then forced Nunez to recuse himself and turn it over essentially to Shifty.
I was there. | ||
I got, I think, grilled For over 20 hours or 25 hours, something like that, in front of the House Intelligence Committee.
It was, I can tell you, it was run by Shifty Shift and Swalwell.
The Republicans just kind of sat there with the goofball that's over at Fox now that did the Benghazi screw-up.
They were just sitting there like little lambs.
Didn't Paul Ryan force Nunes off to turn it over to Shifty Shift and to Swalwell, sir?
Well, now we know the depths of it.
I didn't know this at the time.
Again, reminding your audience, in 2017, at the end of 2016, beginning of 2017, we hadn't exposed Russiagate yet.
The Nunes memo that we would write would come a year later.
I quarterbacked 70 interrogations under oath.
Everyone on the Hillary Clinton campaign, from John Podesta, Mark Elias, Fusion GPS, and Steele's partners, we questioned them under oath.
We reported that to Paul Ryan and his chief of staff.
Every single week, every time I wanted a subpoena, every time I wanted to take any action, I had to go to the Speaker because that was a chain of command.
It was his select committee on intelligence.
He gave the mandate, but he rigged it before the investigation even started.
And then after the investigation started, Chairman Nunes was forced aside temporarily.
And now we are starting to learn the depths of the depravity of the Speaker of the House, then-Paul Ryan.
And we should start talking about his character since he likes to throw that in our face on the mainstream media about how we don't have character.
The only thing I've ever cared about is the truth.
And the only thing I ever cared about at Russiagate and the deal I made with Devin Nunes was whatever we find, because I didn't know Donald Trump then and had never spoken to him, whatever we find is the truth and we're putting it out.
It is just shocking even to me to find out that Paul Ryan hid from us.
Us, his chairman and his chief investigator on Intel, who ran Russiagate, hid from us the truth, and his chief of staff and him lied to the world about it for years.
The day of reckoning has to come, and the media must call him out for it, whether it's MSNBC, CNN, Fox, or anywhere else.
The truth is the only thing that matters, and we now have caught the Speaker of the House destroying the truth for political personal gain.
And so I'm done listening to him about his lectures of character in Donald Trump.
Cash, where do we get, you got the new movie Governor Gangster's coming out.
We're going to announce a bunch of details of the premiere this week.
All your writings, everything, where do people go?
Well, yeah, just go to ActCash on TruthSocial.
Check out the op-ed, Steve, that we just launched this morning.
Thanks to our partners at Gateway Pundit who had the courage to put this out there, and you in the War Room Posse for blasting it out.
I can't stress enough, the Russiagate investigation was the most consequential oversight investigation of our times.
And the individual that authorized it, Paul Ryan, then Speaker of the House, rigged it before it started because he and his team got their hands on the Steele dossier before anyone knew anything about the Steele dossier and lied about it for years.
Check it out at ActCash on Truth Social and over at Gateway Pundit and the War Room Posse.
Let's go pound the truth and the pavement for Donald Trump.
Yeah, Jim Hoff's got it up.
So, Mo, Grace, Carly Bonet, Elizabeth Everett, let's pound this.
We've got to drive this.
We've got to drive this narrative.
Amazing piece up there, Cash.
Thank you so much. | ||
Thanks, brother. | ||
Government gangsters, Cash Patel.
Cash was the chief investigator, and I'm telling you, the guy is incredible, knows what he's doing.
Congressman Bob Goode joins us.
Congressman Goode, I am more freaked out now on Monday morning than I was on the first day of this, and I'm concerned about November when I see what's happening.
Just get us up to date. | ||
On the facts and details of, it looks like a fiasco in Virginia 5 to run a primary, sir.
Yeah, the bottom line is we can't certify this election.
There's great concern of inappropriate activity relative to the biggest city in the district, Lynchburg City.
They did not secure their drop boxes.
There's no accountability for when those boxes were opened.
They were apparently left to be stuffed for two or three days after the election.
There's no accountability for who opened those, how many ballots came out.
And actually, you've had both sides In the city council races, those supporting me and those supporting my opponent who've acknowledged the lack of integrity, lack of security with the drop boxes in Lynchburg, again, the biggest city in the district.
I won that city, but we didn't win it by the margin we thought we would.
Apparently, it's my home base, my home city where I grew up.
We have overwhelming support there.
You've got all kinds of other things.
We've got data concerns that we can demonstrate where the trends and the data just don't make any sense.
I'm not going to get into particulars on those because we don't want to tip our hand to the opposition.
Bottom line, Steve, this has exposed our vulnerability for November.
Our elections are not secure.
Our processes in place are designed for those who are honest, those who are fair, those who want integrity.
It'd be like running a bank, Steve, with no locks on the door, no security, no guards, nothing like that, and assuming no one would ever steal money from the bank.
That's how our election processes are working, or I should say not working right now.
And so this race, as you know, has national implications.
Conservatives across the country, millions are furious about this race.
Hundreds of thousands in Virginia.
Unfortunately, if my opponent were to prevail, it would impact the president in Virginia.
It would put this seat vulnerable on the Republican side in November if my proponent were to prevail.
So we're going to do everything, Steve, to try to block certification this election, to have a full investigation of the The evidence of some potential malfeasance here, and make sure this election actually reflects the intent of the voters who legitimately and legally participated.
Congressman, just hang over for one second, just got a couple more questions.
This has, I gotta tell you, Virginia's potentially in play for President Trump in November, but guess what?
You have to have an election that people— Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
So Congressman Goode, what is the certification process?
I thought canvassing was finished today.
I don't know how you certify when you have all these discrepancies in Lynchburg.
And people got to get this sorted because November, Virginia's in play.
In the 5th district, it's absolutely critical.
And a huge turnout of MAGA in November is critical for President Trump to be competitive and maybe even take Virginia.
If you take Virginia, you've changed the dynamics of the entire race, sir.
You're exactly right, and we're going to be making the legal challenge in the next couple of days to demonstrate that Lynchburg, the biggest city, can't be certified.
There's other concerns across the district with the results, but Lynchburg is the big key.
That can't be certified.
There's no confidence in Lynchburg's results from either side, quite frankly, on the city council basis, along with the congressional basis.
See, but we cannot win if we're going to elect swamp creatures.
And look, just look at who's supporting my opponent.
It is the Paul Ryan, Kevin McCarthy, Eric Cantor types, the swamp folks, the rhinos for whom the endless wars allegiance to the industrial military complex.
That's who's funding my opponent.
That's who's supporting my opponent.
Vote very differently than me in Washington.
I hate to be crass about it, Steve, but we depleted resources trying to win this primary.
We believe we did win the primary, even though we're vastly outspent.
I need help funding the recount challenge, the challenge to the certification, the challenge to getting a hand count, a paper ballot match to this, Steve.
So go to bobgoodforcongress.com slash recount.
Support this effort if you want true conservatives to win and not swamp creatures, because that's what this race is about on a national basis.
Congressman Good, thank you very much.
Appreciate you. | ||
And we'll stay in touch.
Make sure we follow you on social media.
Keep up with all the updates.
Thanks, Steve. | ||
Appreciate it. | ||
I can't emphasize enough.
Now, this is actually going to another level of problem.
Because the state, when the Yunkin race, remember MAGA turned out for Yunkin like 120% because it was so important symbolically.
Uh, and those, I don't think there were issues there.
Now you get a federal, now you get a federal where you got, uh, you know, Congress and you're going to have it a presidential in, uh, in a Senate race.
You got hung cow, they're running, uh, in for the Senate, but you got this, you know, and the Commonwealth is back in play.
And Hey, I'm the guy that told Trump in 16, I don't think we're that close.
We're, we're, we're wasting time.
We're burning daylight being down there.
President Trump wanted to focus on Minnesota as other ones, obviously Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, where President Trump knew and had a feel because he's a field player.
That's like in golf, he's a field player.
He knew that we were very close in all three of those and we're going to take them.
He turned out correct. | ||
He was also all over me about Minnesota, of which I was saying, hey, let's focus on what we got.
You know, and he was right on that.
We spent that, we spent one day in Minnesota.
Why? | ||
Because Paul Ryan told us we could not come to Wisconsin on the Sunday before the election because we're going to lose by three to five points and he didn't want to be associated with it.
We told him it was wrong and he was adamant.
That's the type of guy, that's character, baby.
And when it counts, that's character.
I just think character.
As soon as I hear that, I think character.
And President Trump won, won Wisconsin.
And almost came within an eyelash and won in Minnesota.
And he was absolutely correct.
If we'd spent more time in Minnesota, we would have won that too.
Virginia is that now. | ||
The Commonwealth of Virginia is in play.
And President Trump, and if you put the Commonwealth of Virginia in play by September, October, it totally changes the field dynamics of this race.
And now we got to make sure this thing's high and tight.
There can't be any questions.
First off, we can't allow them to steal it.
Number one. | ||
And number two, when President Trump wins, it has to be incontrovertible.
Because they're going to come.
You don't think they're going to come.
Nobody asked them, hey, you going to accept the election?
You think Jamie Raskin is going to accept the election?
Yeah, check in with us on January 6th.
When it comes to certifying the election with Jamie Raskin and these demons.
Do I have Payaletta up? | ||
Is Mark Payaletta with us?
So Mark, I'm going to hold you to the break.
First off, this is one of the most historic weeks in the history of the Supreme Court, and therefore the country, with the scale and number and importance of decisions coming out.
I'm going to get to that in a second.
It's hard to shock me, brother, but the unrelenting attack, and they say we're the anti-institutionalists, the unrelenting attack on the institution of the Supreme Court and then particularly a couple of originalist Thanks Steve.
is breathtaking. They're relentless in that giving up and finally today in the
pages of the Wall Street Journal you push back. Can you give me, can you walk
us through your analysis that's in the Wall Street Journal this morning?
Thanks Steve. The left is determined to do everything they can to destroy
Justice Thomas including making the most dishonest chart I've ever seen.
There is a story that went around a couple, about a week ago, a little bit more, about how Justice Thomas allegedly accepted 4.2 million dollars in gifts and then they compare it to other justices and it's every single aspect of this chart is false and deceptive and dishonest.
You know, they count his gifts literally going to their friends Harlan and Kathy Crow's home in the Adirondacks as a As a gift, I think it was worth over $600,000, right?
They count as a gift Justice Thomas going to an event to speak at a civil rights conference in 2022, but they valued at $68,000.
but they valued at $68,000. But they don't count the 230 trips that Justice Breyer took,
including 17 funded by the Pritzker family, the billionaire Democrat Pritzker family,
to fly them all around the world. And then the valuation of these gifts is just absurd and
beyond absurd. They say that Justice Thomas's trip, again, with his friends to Indonesia,
was a gift of $500,000, right? Because they calculated it as him chartering the boat
and the plane by himself. I mean, just absolutely absurd numbers.
They count a scholarship that was set up in Justice Thomas's son's name, didn't get any value from it, didn't get any money from it, as a gift to him for $35,000.
But they don't count a gift that Justice Ginsburg received of $1 million that she distributed to her favorite charities and, by the way, made them promise to keep it secret.
So, they've literally constructed this chart to make Justice Thomas look, you know, terrible.
And that's what they do.
They want to undermine the court.
They want to undermine all the conservative justices on the court, but in particular, Justice Thomas.
And that's what's so despicable and so outrageous about this.
And it gets what they count on is that the truth never catches up with these lies.
OK, they rely on what they rely on ProPublica.
OK, ProPublica is so shoddy in their reporting.
They talk about this Hang on.
Mark, hang on. | ||
I want to go through the details of this.
I'm going to take some time.
Just stick around. | ||
We're taking a 90-second break.
Mark Paoletta, one of the finest individuals this country has ever produced.
Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, Clarence Thomas.
This is Clarence Thomas' court.
Here's what they hate about it.
The progressive left hates that a black man, who happens to be an originalist on the Constitution, basically is, it is his court.
And they are out to destroy him.
Short commercial break. |
