| If you look back to the founding of this republic, and that's what we're fighting for. | ||
| This republic that was formed, what, 250 years ago? | ||

| We want to call our own shots. | ||
| And we're prepared to walk away from the biggest empire, what would be the biggest empire in the world to do that. | ||
| That revolutionary generation of Jefferson and Adams, Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr, four of the most important of the Founding Fathers, and I realize Aaron Burr is kind of the black sheep of that, but at the time, remember he came within a couple of votes of being President of the United States. | ||
