I've witnessed so far in my couple hours in there.
First of all, Michael Cohen is the prosecution's star witness.
This guy is a convicted felon who admitted in his testimony that he secretly recorded his former employer, that he only did it once, allegedly, and that this was supposed to help Donald Trump.
jd vance
Reasonable, sensible person believe anything that Michael Cohen says.
unidentified
I don't think that they should and I actually think that his testimony is going to hurt with any reasonable juror and hopefully we have a few of those.
I want to say two other things here very quickly.
Number one, The thing that the president is prevented from saying, which is a disgrace, is that every single person involved in this prosecution is practically a democratic political operative.
The judge inside, his daughter, is making millions of dollars Running against Donald Trump, raising money for Donald Trump's political opponents.
The number three person to the Department of Justice, Biden's Department of Justice, left to become a local prosecutor to go after Donald Trump.
And of course there's Alvin Bragg, a Soros-funded prosecutor who promised to go after Donald Trump and now is doing exactly that.
Now look, Whether you love Donald Trump, whether you like Donald Trump, or whether you're a Democrat or don't care about politics, what's going on inside that courtroom is a threat to American democracy, ladies and gentlemen.
We cannot have a country where you get to prosecute your political opponents instead of persuading voters.
Joe Biden's entire strategy is to try to distract from inflation at home and war overseas with this sham trial.
I just want to live in a reasonable country where we try to persuade voters in our politics.
We don't try to throw our political opponents in jail.
So, this is a disgrace, and I wanted to be here to show some support for my friend.
First of all, I'm disappointed in the courtroom.
I'm hearing, Mr. Trump, Mr. Trump.
He is former President Trump.
Give him some respect.
I mean, that's what that place is in there.
It's no respect.
Here's what I'm seeing too.
It is depressing.
That courtroom is depressing.
This is New York City.
The icon of our country.
And we got a courtroom that's the most oppressing thing I've ever been in.
Mental anguish is trying to be pushed on the Republican candidate for the President of the United States this year.
That's all this is.
He's been here a month.
He's been here a month.
I am disappointed in looking at the American, supposedly American citizens in that courtroom, that the DA comes in and he acts like it is his Super Bowl.
And I guess it is, to be noticed.
But that's what's happening in this country.
A Republican candidate for President of the United States is going through mental anguish in a courtroom that's very depressing.
Very depressing.
I'm glad to stand by President Trump.
I'm a friend of his.
I'm here more as a friend than backing him as candidate, as president.
The country has said for New York, I mean New York, that a judge who is highly conflicted at a level that nobody's seen before can possibly just think of it and you should go out and check it out.
But we have a corrupt judge, and we have a judge who's highly conflicted, and he's keeping me from campaigning.
He's an appointed New York judge.
He's appointed.
You know who appointed him?
Democrat politicians.
He's appointed.
He's a corrupt judge, and he's a conflicted judge, and he ought to let us go out and campaign and get rid of this scam.
Every single legal analyst, even CNN, Even MSDNC is saying, there's no case here.
Thank you very much.
When's the next time you'll be on a campaign show instead of mingling with wealthy donors?
What do you mean, frequented?
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
Pray for our enemies.
unidentified
Because we're going medieval on this, people.
steve bannon
President Trump got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
unidentified
The people have had a belly full of it.
steve bannon
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you've tried to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
MAGA Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved!
unidentified
War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bamm.
steve bannon
It's Monday, 13 May, the River Lord 2024. Another day that will live in...
And also, I'm going to be doing a lot of research on the future of the United States.
Legal system, let's go.
Directly outside the courthouse in Manhattan, our own Andrew Giuliani.
Andrew, just, this is a trial, it's in search of a crime, and today you had the chief clown Michael Cohen in there for about, I guess, six, seven, eight hours.
Give us an update.
unidentified
Steve, you had the prosecution, right from the very beginning of the day, call Michael Cohen.
There was some talk about whether they'd call a witness before him.
Michael Cohen came out, and the prosecution has yet to rebuild Cohen's credibility.
They've asked Cohen all different kinds of questions with regard to his relationship with President Trump,
what he did for President Trump, all different things regarding the alleged repayment
of Karen McDougal, the Playboy playmate, all different things regarding the repayment
for Stormy Daniels.
They tried to back it up with text messages, with call logs, but the thing that we've seen so far,
up until this point, Steve, is that it still relies on the word of Michael Cohen
connecting Donald Trump to these alleged repayments at this point.
Also, a couple notes here, and a colleague pointed this out, and I thought it was very, very, very, very good.
I mentioned to you this morning that President Trump was recorded by Michael Cohen on a voice memo that President Trump did not know about Michael Cohen coming into his office regarding the $150,000 payment to Karen McDougal.
That would certainly be a violation of the attorney-client privilege.
But even with that being said, That voice memo did not actually, in my opinion, have anything incriminating on there.
It was a little bit inaudible, but President Trump didn't seem to say anything that in any way would have incriminated him.
On top of this, The alleged questioning was something that the statute of limitations expired on and it was an underlying misdemeanor.
Later this afternoon, Mr. Cohen presented, said the district attorney presented a piece of evidence that Michael Cohen claims Allen Weisselberg wrote saying that he was going to gross up his repayment Think about the taxes that would be taken out there.
$160,000 because Cohen was owed $180,000.
Think about the taxes that would be taken out there.
Cohen says that that's from Weisselberg, but again, it depends on the word of convicted felon,
perjurer to Congress, and serial liar Michael Cohen.
And right now, the prosecution has not done anything to show any evidence where Cohen is not the linchpin.
Cohen's word is not the linchpin in this entire case.
steve bannon
Andrew, talk to us about Tommy Tuberville.
unidentified
J.D.
steve bannon
Vance and Tommy Tuberville came to the sticks afterwards to make some comments.
J.D.
went through the logical deconstruction of this bogus case.
Senator Tuberville took a very different direction and talked about the psychological warfare against President Trump in this dingy courtroom, the lack of respect, kind of the arrogance of the prosecutor.
Your thoughts?
unidentified
Yeah, I made a note on exactly what Senator Tommerville ended up saying at the Stix, as a matter of fact, earlier this morning.
I had noticed that every time that Mershawn greets President Trump, good morning, Mr. Trump.
Todd Blanch ends up saying before Mershawn comes out as they are making the introductions,
saying who they are representing, Todd Blanch, Emile Beauvais, Susan Nicholas,
attorneys for President Trump.
Mershawn responds by says, good morning, good morning, Mr. Trump.
And to me, it's the exact point that Tommy Tuberville is making.
It's a backhanded slap at President Trump.
It's a backhanded slap at the tens of millions of people that elected President Trump.
And sadly, it's in line, I believe, with Mershawn and his family, how they have profited,
how his family has profited, his daughter making over $90 million
for the consulting firm off of Democratic candidates and PACs, including Kamala Harris,
$37 million from Adam Schiff and from Joe Biden as well.
So I think it's a great point by Tommy Tuberville.
steve bannon
Do you see Bragg in this crowd, Colangelo?
Are they circling around the crime now?
Are they trying to narrow it down on Cohen's testimony about exactly what they're going to focus on as far as election interference goes in the 2016?
Because this is like the most ludicrous thing I've ever heard.
But do you see some sort of strategy from the prosecution here?
unidentified
Yeah, you do.
And you heard a couple of different times this afternoon Michael Cohen saying the reason why this was repaid was because there was a presidential election coming up.
So you can see that that's exactly what they're trying to do.
They're trying to make that connection.
They're trying to say that there was election interference here and the payment would not have been made without that.
Now that goes in contrast to Pecker's testimony, David Pecker, who ended up saying that they had done this for Hundreds of celebrities, right?
Talking about celebrity, not talking about anything with politics.
It goes in contrast with Hope Hicks, who said that this would have been embarrassing for the Trump family.
Talking about how President Trump's motive of the alleged payment was actually family and keeping them out of the press and keeping himself out of the press.
Because it would be embarrassing.
Michael Cohen is obviously trying to say that the reason why, the motive for President Trump making this payment was because of the presidency.
In terms of Alvin Bragg, he has been in the courtroom this morning, he was in there, he was not in this afternoon, and this is two days in a row that Bragg was in there.
The first time that Alvin Bragg has been in the courtroom with a witness of note.
He wasn't in with Hope X, wasn't in with Keith Davidson, or with Stormy Daniels.
He came in on Friday, But he was there, front row, with the district attorneys, with the assistant district attorneys, for Michael Cohen.
steve bannon
Let's do some scheduling here.
President Trump court is out on Wednesday.
President Trump is going to his son Barron's graduation, I think on Friday.
Do you think the prosecution keeps Cohen up tomorrow and Thursday?
Is it another two days of testimony by the prosecution to lay out their case?
unidentified
Murshan actually asked the prosecution that, as we were leaving, the prosecution said that we will probably go into it at some point tomorrow.
That's what they said.
At some point tomorrow, questioning will likely wrap up.
Doesn't mean it's a commitment that it will, but it will likely wrap up, at which point the Trump defense team will then start questioning Michael Cohen.
So that could happen at some point tomorrow, late morning.
Could be late after, could be in the afternoon.
It could be Until Thursday, when the defense gets the opportunity to cross-examine.
But Steve, you probably know this as well as I do.
I wonder just how many documents are going to be presented by the defense team showing Michael Cohen had lied In the past.
I can imagine this could be a very, very long cross-examination just because I think it's very important that the defense shows the jury that Michael Cohen had been caught in so many lies in the past.
It'll be very interesting to see if Judge Marchand tries to move that along or allows the defense to continue to present all the different lies that Michael Cohen caught himself in.
steve bannon
Well, it's also your point that they haven't tried to build up his credibility at all in front of the jury.
They're just starting cold with the facts.
That's what I find quite interesting.
And if they're telling the judge they may wrap up tomorrow before the Wednesday or before the Tuesday evening court break that doesn't come back to Thursday, I find that pretty surprising since this guy's the linchpin.
I don't believe they're calling miss December the playmate bunny.
I think they've already said they probably are not going to call her with only two days up of, of Cohen.
I'm kind of shocked by that.
And particularly the fact that they haven't tried to rehabilitate this guy and what people think is a, now they will get a chance after the cross examination.
Any thoughts on that before we bounce Andrew?
unidentified
Yeah, you're right.
Karen McDougal won't be called.
I think it may just be an impossible task.
Again, Cohen, just a few short days ago on his podcast, had a white shirt of President Trump behind bars.
And the judge just on Friday was begging with the prosecution to get Cohen to be quiet Prosecution said they've reached out many times and Cohen just won't listen to them.
So the prosecution might just realize that it's an impossible task and they may seem disingenuous to the jury trying to do that.
So they may just be presenting Michael Cohen, warts and all, for what he is to the jury and hoping that the jury is so biased going into this that they look beyond Michael Cohen, perjurer to the United States Congress.
steve bannon
Andrew, where did we get you?
What's all your touch points on social media?
unidentified
Yeah, at Andrew H. Giuliani.
We're live tweeting.
We're live truthing from the courtroom there.
We'll continue to do it here as this Trump show trial continues.
steve bannon
We'll be there for the show trial tomorrow.
Thank you, Andrew Giuliani.
Okay, times of turbulence.
You got President Trump up in every poll.
You got President Trump up in every crosstab.
You got President Trump up with every demographic in all the battleground states.
They're getting more and more desperate.
Times of turbulence are upon us, particularly if you look forward for the next year.
To the election, between the election and inauguration day, and then the first hundred days of President Trump's second term.
You know what a hedge against turbulence is?
unidentified
Gold.
steve bannon
Birchgold.com.
Slash Bannon.
Go there today.
mike davis
Check it out.
unidentified
I think calling a bimbo porn star is pretty offensive, and I'd like to ask you what you make of the trial in terms of the possibility that actually, in a way, that Donald Trump could benefit, certainly from his base, but benefit, because you might have heard Anthony Zurcher saying that it is having an impact on the campaign, but it may not be a negative one.
mike davis
You just had a bimbo porn star come out and accuse President Trump of trying to have a threesome with Stormy Daniels.
This woman is so credible that the prosecutor doesn't want to call her in to be a witness?
unidentified
Let me just ask you a question.
You think...
steve bannon
OK, we cut that too tight.
I got to have that longer where she calls with Mike Davis says, well, what do you think she is?
And her response is a film actress star, Mike Davis.
I tell you, Mike, it's a it's a guilty pleasure of mine.
I watch that over and over again.
That is, I think, go down in the annals of British Broadcasting Corporation as maybe The greatest trolling on an interview ever.
But I digress.
I digress.
Although it's a joke.
This trial's a joke.
I mean, how can you take it seriously when you see the great Michael Cohen up there today babbling on the on the witness stand and Tommy Tuberville, the great senator from Alabama, summed it up.
This is just a farce.
It's a sigh up on President Trump.
This is a guy that they have in this this basically this cage.
Four days a week and he still goes to Wildwood, New Jersey and draws a hundred thousand people on a chilly and very windy Saturday afternoon.
Mike Davis.
mike davis
Yeah, Steve.
So we've said for 22 months since the Mar-a-Lago raid that this election interference, this lawfare and election interference by President Biden and these Biden Democrats would backfire.
And what, we're in week five of this bogus criminal trial in New York, and you have New York Times polling coming out.
That shows President Trump is crushing Biden in every swing state.
This is gonna be a tsunami election if we continue down this path.
These Democrats thought that they were going to meddle in the Republican primary and get the Republicans to nominate a weakened, wounded Trump and destroy him on November 5th.
And we've made that backfire.
We've made that backfire badly on these Democrats.
Now Trump is going to beat Biden like a drum on November 5th, as we've predicted and made happen over the last 22 months.
steve bannon
Okay, Mike, so the federal judge is jumping in, in the, in the Mar-a-Lago raid, as you called them, appellate courts jumping in to hold Fannie Willis accountable.
But now finally, with enough bayonets to the back, We have a weaponization committee on Wednesday bringing in a couple of lawyers, and now we're hearing that they're doing a markup right now of a contempt for Garland for the Biden videos on his deposition, not turning him over to the House.
Walk me through exactly—the House should be taking massive action, and you're having kind of fits and starts and sharply worded letters and reports and all this.
It's not cohesive.
It's not a coherent plan right now.
But you maybe you can see the makeup or the outline of a plan.
What's going on in particularly these two events this week?
mike davis
Well, yeah, I mean, they're nice.
But what needs to happen is you have these Biden Democrats have President Trump in a Manhattan courtroom for the last month instead of the campaign trail.
Why aren't these House Republicans putting Alvin Bragg and Matthew Colangelo and Big Tish James and Big Fanny Willis and her dumb unqualified boyfriend Nathan Wade and Jay Bratt and Jack Smith and Jonathan Su and all these other Democrat operatives, these Biden Democrats who are running this republic-ending election interference and lawfare.
This is a criminal conspiracy under 18 U.S.C.
section 2 So, 241, Conspiracy Against Rights, and these Democrats, these Biden Democrats, have walked through an open door for the last two years.
And the reason they've walked through an open door is because Republicans have not put up a fight.
House Republicans have not put up an effective fight, right?
You have two U.S.
Senators taking the time to go up to New York today to provide their support of President Trump.
Yet House Republicans can't put these Biden Democrat operatives in a chair for a staff deposition and get their documents, and God forbid they hold a public hearing.
What is the excuse for not calling in Matthew Colangelo to sit in a chair for a staff deposition, for example?
What is the excuse for that?
He was deployed from the number three office in the Biden Justice Department.
If President Trump talks about the fact that Matthew Colangelo got deployed from the number three office in the Biden Justice Department, if President Trump merely posts a news story that mentions Matthew Colangelo's name this corrupt, Manhattan judge Juan Marchand who donated to Biden and whose adult daughter is raising millions off of this unprecedented criminal trial over which her corrupt father is presiding.
Trump goes to jail.
Trump can't respond to Stormy Daniels, a porn star who's changed her story more than her sex partners in her porn scenes.
And Michael Cohen, this disbarred convicted perjurer, and felon who's changed his story.
They are online trashing Trump as the star witnesses.
They're raising money on TikTok with Michael Cohen.
Michael Cohen's peddling his book.
Stormy Daniels is peddling her porn sites on Twitter.
They're trashing Trump.
If Trump responds, he goes to jail.
If Trump talks about Lauren Michaud, the judge's daughter, Raising millions of dollars off this case, requiring Judge Berchand's recusal under New York statute, Trump goes to jail.
If Trump even mentions that this Manhattan jury pool voted 87% for Biden, Trump goes to jail.
This is an illegal, unconstitutional gag order on a criminal defendant who happens to be a former president and the leading presidential candidate, and where the hell are the House Republicans?
Why are they not issuing subpoenas for witnesses and documents right now?
We are in week five of this trial.
Where the hell are they?
steve bannon
Tell me about Andrew Giuliani said at the beginning that Cohen was up on TikTok the other night trashing Trump with a, he had a t-shirt on that showed President Trump, I think, in orange jumpsuit behind bars and the prosecution said, well, we can't control him.
I thought that's what a gag order was about.
So the prosecution couldn't have witnesses out trashing somebody to the general public.
How does that work?
That Cohen could go out and the prosecution go, well, we tried, tells the judge, well, we tried, we can't control him.
mike davis
The judge should have issued a gag order on Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen, the witnesses in this case.
The whole point of a gag order is to protect the criminal defendant.
It is a limited time, place, and manner restrictions on free speech rights to ensure that a criminal defendant has his constitutional rights protected during a criminal trial.
These Biden Democrats have turned the Constitution on its head by gagging criminal defendants.
If Trump obstructs justice, By tampering with witnesses.
There are statutes that you can charge.
You can charge him under the criminal statutes.
But to put this vague and overbroad gag order, prior restraint on his constitutional rights to speak out, especially during a presidential campaign, is clearly illegal.
It's clearly unconstitutional.
It is a criminal It's not like it'd be hard for the judge to issue a gag order for someone like Stormy Daniels.
I mean, let's just face it, she's used to gag orders.
steve bannon
Mike Davis, how can people get you on Article 3?
I want to tell the audience we're going to be pounding every day and we're pounding behind the scenes to make sure that the House, you know, Johnson's like, oh, it's nothing I can do.
I can't shut down the FBI.
I can't defund anybody.
There's a lot you can do.
And we're going to continue to pound and pound and pound this Wednesday.
Weaponization is just the first step.
But we hope quite soon we're going to have a real House Judiciary Committee come forward and start letting subpoenas fly and start to have the back of President Trump.
Because what's happening right now is destroying our system.
And the American people are telling you through the polls that they've had a bellyful of it.
They're fed up with it.
Mike Davis, Article 3, your action, action, action.
You got any other observations, Mike?
mike davis
Yeah, we're in week five and Jim Jordan's weaponization committee is just putting lawyers on the stand who have just opinions about the case.
Like, give me a break, Jim Jordan.
Get the real witnesses on the stand.
Get Matthew Colangelo and Gary Stern at the National Archives and Jay Bratz.
And Jonathan Sue, let's get the real witnesses on the stand instead of this show trial that you want to have among House Republicans.
We already have a show trial in New York.
We don't need a show trial in Washington, D.C.
People can go to article3project.org.
You can donate there.
You can take action there.
One of the action items you can take is supporting Congressman Andrew Clyde's appropriation riders,
champions by Article 3 projects, to light up both of your home state senators and your
House representative and tell them to pause all this funding, federal funding, for Jack
Smith and these three state and local prosecutions of Trump.
They waited seven years for this Brad case.
They waited three years for these other three cases.
They're timing these trials for the presidential election.
They can wait until after the election to go after Trump.
This is lawfare and election interference.
If they want to prosecute Trump, do it after the election.
Let the American people, instead of these Democrat prosecutors and judges and witnesses, No, we have to have a massive investigation here, all the way from Arizona to Michigan to Georgia, and of course, the federal cases also.
Mike Davis, thank you for coming on.
Thank you for being on Point of This.
Let's turn up the heat on House Republicans.
steve bannon
No, we have to have a massive investigation here, all the way from Arizona to Michigan
to Georgia, and of course, the federal cases also.
Mike Davis, thank you for coming on.
Thank you for being on Point of This.
Thank you.
This is a disgrace.
There should be so much action taking place in the House.
The counter narrative here is the vast criminal conspiracy against President Trump, and it's
up in your grill, whether it's the number three, Lisa Monaco, the number three to Lisa
Monaco and Merrick Garland, secunded up there, Matthew Colangelo.
Whether it's Jack Smith, what he did to entrap President Trump on the classified documents, from Arizona to Michigan with the state AGs dead, all the coordination, all the coordination with MSNBC and all the commentators and observers up there.
All of it.
And it's quite simple to get this rolling.
And we need this rolling.
We need it rolling now.
We need the subpoenas to fly.
Wednesday is a kickoff, but once again, that's just lawyers talking about what their thoughts are on the case.
It's fantastic.
But it's got to be a lot more than that.
And the markup on Garland's about the audio is fine, but it's not enough.
And we're not going to just sit here and have some sort of performative effort satisfies.
It does not.
Short break.
All right, back in the warm in a minute.
Patrick, I don't know, he's written 10, 12, 15 books.
Tons of bestsellers.
He's kicking off his book launch for The Young Vanquish.
He said one of the most important book launches he's ever had at Appomattox.
They gave a talk and there were war room posse members up there that went to dinner afterwards.
So many came up to him after the event.
They were so nice, so interested, so really dialed in.
And then you heard Field Grinch.
Remember, one of the things we do when we have sponsors, we want to make sure you have access to the CEOs.
So we had Myles Grimard on.
And, you know, Myles, these people have sponsored so many shows and they had a staff meeting the other day and the staff brought up And when people call in or people are emailing them, making
contact with them, when they use the promo code for War Room, promo code for Bannon, he says,
these people are the nicest people.
They want more information. They're just fantastic. The other night I gave a speech,
honored to give a speech in front of the Palm Beach Republican Club. And I think 80% of the
audience were War Room Posse listeners.
It was just incredible afterwards, the feedback on the show and how interested you guys are in the information and continue to put out information.
So just honored to do this.
We're building a huge and vast community, not just across the country, but across the world.
It's really all about you.
We provide a platform to give you information and analysis you're not going to get anywhere else.
We combine, as you know, capital markets, macroeconomics, geopolitics, national security, the details of grassroots politics here, all the way to the deck plates of the precinct strategy and school boards.
Also, we bring in the top thinkers in the MAGA movement.
One's going to join us in a minute, Dr. Carol Swain, but to talk to you about the most important, not just issues of the day, but how they drive things.
Going forward because we're just not here to report kind of what's hot in that to take, to do hot takes on, on the news today.
But I really want to, I really appreciate this audience and particularly when we get feedback from our sponsors all the time and said, these guys are so they want to immerse themselves in information.
They're so polite.
They're so nice, but they, they have, they're curious.
They're curious.
And that's one of the great things about this audience.
Birchgold.
We're going to announce something a little different on Birchgold on the end of the dollar empire.
We've had such a huge demand for it.
Now we've got five free installments.
Remember, we go out of our way to make sure all the content here in the world is free and ubiquitous so you can get it and share it.
Jane Zirkle is going to be talking about polling in a second.
One of the ways we've changed the narrative with President Trump is you guys being forced
to multiply.
What does that mean?
Just getting information and sharing it.
This is one of the things I told Palm Beach, the Palm Beach crowd the other night, and
there were a lot of big donors there and a lot of very successful people and a lot of
people that had money.
And I told them, right now, it's not your money.
It's your engagement.
It's your engagement of self and your being into this fight.
And to become a force multiplier and change the people in your circle around you.
Now, as I keep saying, get up in people's grills, show them the information.
Do not back down.
It's having a massive impact.
This is the whole tectonic plate shift against the corporate media, against all the cultural institutions, against the universities, against all of it.
It's working.
It's working, and they know it's working.
That's why one of their smartest guys, Fareed Zakaria, was on CNN yesterday on his weekly show, and he said, hey, look, I was dead wrong.
I didn't think we'd be here with Trump.
But we're wrong, and this is not working.
And right now, Biden's not going to beat Trump.
And there's not major course corrections.
Be prepared for a second Trump presidency.
He said it in a little classier way than what Jim Carvel said.
And these are some of the smartest guys on their side of the football.
Mark Penn.
Huge article, I think it was up in The Hill the other day, just said, hey, this is not working.
There needs to be a major course correction.
Why?
Because you, this audience, we are relentless about putting this information out.
So make sure you go to birchgold.com slash Bannon, get The End of the Dollar Empire, all five free installments, and talk to Philip Patrick.
We lay it the macro case here, but you've got to talk to people that know the details, not just know the instruments, but know the microeconomics of it.
So talk to Philip Patrick and team why gold has been a hedge for, I don't know, eight, 10,000, 8,000 years, I think it is, of man's recorded history.
Dr. Carol Swain.
One of the smartest public intellectuals we have on this side.
You've been in a firefight.
You're an Ivy Leaguer and have had a firefight with the Ivy League.
My question is, you're seeing right now, you're seeing the payback of having Marxist professors, Marxist faculty senates, Marxists that get tenured, these administrators that are even worse than Marxists combined with the Sharia supremacists to have a witch's bruise in these college campuses.
They even walked out Jerry Seinfeld, poor Jerry Seinfeld tried to give a Commencement at Duke, and I think, I don't know, 10% of the students walked out.
The pro-Palestinian, which is the most anti-American movement I've ever seen.
Your thoughts, Dr. Carol Swain?
carol m swain
Well, I mean, this revolution that we see playing out on the college campuses, it's been a long time coming.
I think back to my Princeton years in the 1990s, when there was so much about critical theory and postmodernism and people talking about, you know, the critical race theory.
We saw that all these theories during the Obama administration, that they literally took over the colleges and universities.
And the parents that complained about critical race theory and DEI, they became aware in 2020.
It was going on much longer than 2020.
And what I saw gradually happen was that the conservative professors They were either ousted or circumstances were made so difficult that many chose to leave.
I was among the ones that decided to take early retirement in 2017.
I don't regret that because I believe being part of the war room, being part of this vast army that I have far more influence in the world now than I would have had on that college campus where I was being stifled.
steve bannon
There's no doubt.
I mean, you're one of our leaders.
You've particularly...
Singled out Professor Gay at, I think it is, at Harvard.
You're going to pursue that.
You think that's a combination of anti-Semitism, plagiarism.
Tell me about your fight.
You continue your fight at Harvard.
You were actually the first to bring up the plagiarism situation there.
Where do we stand with this?
Because if you can't get the intellectual integrity of these Ivy League universities, particularly at the highest levels, correct, then you're not going to have a university.
carol m swain
Well, first of all, my pursuit of academic integrity is bigger than Claudine Gay.
I mean, she's just a pawn in something that's much larger.
We know that all the college and universities, the major ones, have plagiarists on their faculty.
Not all of them are racial and ethnic minorities, but quite a few that Chris Rufo has exposed.
Our racial and ethnic minorities.
And what's happening is that the colleges and university administrators are trying to make the argument that everyone plagiarizes, that it's common and it is not common.
And what they are doing in the process is lowering academic standards for everyone.
There will be a negative ripple effect that will hurt K-12 education unless people stand up.
And I am standing up.
I have a legal team.
They did contact Harvard University.
Harvard University responded that the plagiarism of my work was fair use and that if I pursued it, it would be a frivolous lawsuit and I would have to pay court costs.
And I intend to pursue it.
I've also been told that a successful case will cost more than $100,000.
So I'm using Give, Send, Go, a Christian platform to raise money for the legal expenses.
I've already invested part of mine, but there will be a lawsuit against Harvard.
I believe we will win it.
And they try to bully people, especially people like me.
I don't think they've done their homework.
Obviously, they don't know who I am.
They have not read my work.
They have not read my work and compared No, they got the wrong person.
steve bannon
Dr. Carol Swain is tough as boot leather.
Here's why, when they use the excuse where everybody plagiarizes something, nobody ever accused you of plagiarizing.
They plagiarized your work because you had belt and suspenders and great original research.
That's why she used your work, correct?
carol m swain
Well, you know something, if you look at Roland Fryer.
Glenn Lowry, Thomas Sowell, all of us are racial and ethnic minorities that came from the underclass.
You know, we were the poor ones.
But we have creativity.
And so we were successful.
We worked hard.
Claudine Gay went to Phillips Exeter Academy.
She has an undergrad degree from Stanford.
She has the Ph.D.
from Harvard.
And it's not clear she ever had an original idea in her life.
And it's been my experience that universities have favored racial and ethnic minorities who had the right pedigree.
The rest of us, I guess, were too rough around the edges for them.
As I pursue a lawsuit against Harvard, it really isn't about me.
It's not about Claudine Gay.
It's about something much bigger.
Harvard University needs to be held accountable because they've done so much damage in the world and they don't seem to care about the anti-Semitism.
And if you think back about Harvard's history, the quotas against Jews in the 1930s, you know, that sort of came out of Harvard.
Harvard has always had a problem with anti-Semitism, and right now they have just—the Marxism has taken over.
The standards have been ejected.
If people care about Harvard and institutions of higher education, now is a moment that we can turn it around.
And we are winning because it was announced today that the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, they're ending their DEI programs and they're going to use the money for campus police.
And I believe other places will.
Go ahead.
steve bannon
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, unanimous board of trustees, two and a half million dollars left in the pool for DEI said, hey, we're going to give this to public safety, campus safety, and no more DEI program.
unidentified
Boom.
steve bannon
Now, I'd like to see them go into the faculty.
I want to go back.
How can they argue fair use?
They took your original research.
Well, they have not read my book, Black Faces, Black Interests, the Representation of African Americans in Congress.
And what Claudine Gay did was basically frame her dissertation around ideas in my book.
used it as her own and never mentioned.
How could they say that's fair use?
carol m swain
Well, Dr. Slane.
They have not read my book, Black Faces, Black Interests, the representation of African Americans in Congress.
And what Claudine Gay did was basically frame her dissertation
around ideas in my book.
And she was trying to write a canter.
And so there are about five places in her dissertation where she's drawing on my work and my ideas
and not citing me.
But I would argue that had it not been for my prize winning book, Black Faces, Black Interests, the representation of African-Americans in Congress, cited three times by the Supreme Court, had a huge impact on the field of representation, she would not have been writing that dissertation.
Her early work was based on my ideas and In some of the work, she has the obligatory cite in the bibliography, but she did not acknowledge the work.
And there's no way that the people at Harvard read my prize-winning book and her dissertation and would argue that, you know, it's fair use.
What I think is that they just try to bully people.
They never want to settle, but they're running to the wrong Negro.
steve bannon
First of all, can I hear the deplorables again?
You just named Dr. Lowry, Thomas Sowell.
Who are the deplorables you just named?
I'm going to hold you to the break.
We've got 30 seconds.
unidentified
Who?
carol m swain
Roland Fryer, the brilliant economist there that she tried to destroy him.
He's still there.
And it's just so many other bright minorities.
And I know some that, you know, that their work was stolen by people like Claudine Gay.
Got away with it.
They tried to pursue it.
They were told to be quiet.
And most of the people that Claudine Gay plagiarized, I believe there are about 20, they all said it was okay, except one anonymous person and me.
It is not okay.
It's never okay.
And I don't go away quietly.
But I do need people, you know, that follow me on Twitter and places.
If they want to donate, there's a way to donate tax-free for larger amounts, but also the GiveSendGo can take smaller donations or it can take larger donor-advised funds.
steve bannon
Hang on one second.
We're gonna hold you through the break.
They clearly don't know your life story.
You're tough as boot leather.
Short break.

We're going to have you back on.
I think I got an idea how to get this thing rolling, but right now, I want to know where you go to your news site, where they go to your books, where they go to your social media, all of it, because you're putting up great content all day long, ma'am.
carol m swain
Well, I'm engaging with people on X, but I'm also on Getter, Truth Social, And you can give as good as you can take.
Dr. Carol Swain, look forward to talking.
I'll talk to you later tonight.
Thank you, man.
But the excitement happens on X because it allows a lot of give and take.
steve bannon
And you can give as good as you can take.
Dr. Carol Swain, look forward to talking.
I'll talk to you later tonight.
Thank you, man.
I love you.
That woman is a flat out public intellectual fighter that will never back down.
She's truly a jewel.
She's like a Phyllis Schlafly type.
They only come along a couple every generation.
Jane Zirkle, this all manifests itself in numbers.
This is why Donald Trump is leading among young people.
All these demographics.
Walk me through some math.
unidentified
Yes, well, this is devastating for the Democrat Party because this is what they have been relying on for decades.
President Trump is leading in five critical swing states.
All swing states which President Biden won back in 2020, and I say won with quotation marks.
However, he is tied with 18 to 29-year-olds now.
We have been talking about this youth vote coming around for quite some time, and we're really starting to see that manifested here.
He is also tied among Hispanic voters.
That Hispanic red wave is really strong right now for President Trump.
And the big news here, this is the highest number of support for Republican candidates The 1964 Civil Rights Act, President Trump is up more than 20% with black voters, and that is absolutely historic.
And this polling comes right off of what we saw last month with the Harvard Youth Poll, where only 9% of young people approved of the direction of the country across the board in swing states.
voters strongly disapprove of the job that Joe Biden is doing, and that's largely being
driven by the economy, the lived experience.
And listen, no amount of student loan debt forgiveness is going to sway young voters
here because it is that lived experience.
It's the fact that they can't afford to buy a home, that they can't afford to put food
on the table, that they can't afford to put gas in their car.
And so it's going to be quite an interesting race to the finish line, because the Democrat
base is absolutely imploding here.
steve bannon
Thank you.
Jane, we have you go all around the country.
I know you're just down at the border.
Give me your sense, just because you hang with young people all the time, your sense beyond the numbers.
Are you getting this sense also from young people?
unidentified
Oh, 100 percent.
I mean, it's really discouraging to look at college campuses.
I know in particular we were just talking about George Washington University, and I believe it was a day after I was on with you that we saw this absolutely awful video of the faculty walking hand-in-hand with students to walk out and protest in support of Palestine.
But the reality is, I mean, well, of course, George Soros is, A, paying a lot of these protesters.
But these outrage culture issues are just not taking precedent with young people anymore because of the economic issues, the inflation, the taxation, everything.
It's sort of the young people's awakening to the real world here, and I think it's goes beyond colleges too, because of course, college really
isn't the real world, as we see young people half the time don't even know what they're
actually protesting for.
And it's nice to see that my generation is stepping away from the climate cult, the outrage
culture of everything, that this fad really is just sort of the next left-wing thing.
But it is a very far left-wing thing, because particularly with the Israel issue, it showed
in the Time-Sania-Siena polling that when it comes to Biden voters who plan to not vote
for him again, it's because of the Israel issue.
And particularly with young voters, the Israel issue was really towards the bottom of what
they cared about.
Yeah.
steve bannon
Jane, where do people go to get you on social media?
unidentified
