I ask. | |
Zelensky, coming again.
Desperately needs the money.
I heard you say, I'm way too early.
Man, we better give him the money.
And you've got the world now, as Zelensky's saying, I desperately must have this money or Ukraine is toast in this war, number one.
And you've got the world looking and saying, man, if Donald Trump gets elected president, they're seeing these polls and the fact that Trump's, if not the favorite, even neck and neck with Joe Biden.
They're saying the first thing he's going to do is dump out of NATO.
And the first people are going to feel that.
Yeah, it is a frightening moment, and when you think about this optic of the President of Ukraine needing to come to Washington to sort of prop up what ought to be the most obvious set of
military support in the modern history, given how cost effective it is to take out Vladimir Putin, it is a sad moment.
I think it's possible to have separate debates.
In fact, congressional Republicans tried to force an Israel alone aid package just a couple of weeks ago that Democrats blocked in the Senate.
So we can have separate debates.
I think we need to have separate debates.
But on the Ukraine question in particular, everybody knows, everybody with a brain in their head, Jake, knows that this was always going to end in negotiation.
The idea that Ukraine was going to throw Russia back to the 1991 borders was preposterous.
Nobody actually believed it.
So what we're saying to the president and really to the entire world is you need to articulate what the ambition is.
What is $61 billion going to accomplish that $100 billion hasn't?
We have to remember, Jake, Ukraine is functionally destroyed as a country.
The average age of a soldier in the Ukrainian army right now is 43.
That's tragic. | ||
That's older than me. | ||
I'm 39. | ||
If this thing goes on a little bit longer, the average age of a Ukrainian soldier is going to be older than you.
And then a year later, it could be Wolf Blitzer.
That is a tragedy. | ||
What does it look like? | ||
unidentified
|
I don't like this age graph.
I'm sorry, Jake. | ||
unidentified
|
I'm 54, for those wondering.
We're getting to a place where we're going to be functionally on the hook to pay for Ukrainian pensioners, to rebuild the entire country.
We need to bring the killing to a stop, and that's what American leadership should be doing, not writing more blank checks to the war.
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
|
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
You're not going to free shot all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen. | ||
And where do people like that go to share the big line?
MAGA Media. | ||
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
|
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
|
War Room, here's your host, Stephen K. Babb.
Okay, welcome. | ||
It is Monday, 11 December in the year of our Lord 2023.
We've got a lot going on, but we're going to start with something quite vital and urgent, the situation in Ukraine.
And the reason it's vital and urgent, and we're starting today with everything else we've got to cover, and we're honored to have Senator J.D.
Vance in the war room today.
And I don't know in what environment we're working in.
Zelensky's on a plane and coming here tomorrow.
Look, this is now a debate, a needed debate in the Senate, in the House, about the American empire, what's going on here, spending, but Ukraine is part of this.
I'm offended. | ||
You saw Stavridis and this clown show over at Morning Joe that have been dead wrong since the first day of the war.
We told you how this was going to end.
Give him a situation in Biden-Blinken that he can come over here and intrude himself in what is really domestic politics now in the United States.
Senator. | ||
Look, Steve, it's gross.
You have a foreign leader coming to the United States like we're some sort of geopolitical salvation army.
That is not the role of the United States here.
Is to hand out money to every beggar who comes into our country and demands that we fund their foreign conflict.
This is, step back a second Steve.
We'd understand that Republicans for once in this town have actually stood pretty firm the last couple of weeks.
on the question of border security and said you're not going to get another dime for Ukraine unless you do something serious about the American southern border.
So Zelensky is parachuting into this domestic political debate about prioritizing our own border.
He's not here to tell us anything we haven't heard before.
He's here to badger and browbeat Speaker Johnson and Senate Republicans into foregoing our negotiations on border security In order to write him another blank check.
I've never seen anything like this.
This is not Churchill coming in the midst of World War II.
This is literally a guy begging for a handout and telling Republicans to stop negotiating over your own border security.
I'm offended by it. | ||
As a United States Senator, I'm offended by it.
We should be focused on our own border and be having that debate.
We don't need Zelensky to parachute and tell us how to run our country.
Particularly, I want to get to the Tapper thing in a minute, because that was the best description of our situation, geopolitically, financially, security.
Jake Tapper sitting there, and of course you were throwing a few heckles, right, with the Wolf Blitz.
Because I do. | ||
And Jake Tapper sitting there like he's never heard it before, he's like in shock.
But go back to the Senate.
There was at least some movement, and I've opposed this.
I don't think we ought to hold our border hostage to give money to Ukraine.
However, I can at least, I like the attempt to bring the real border security up.
Was it not basically, totally and completely rejected by the Democrats?
Look, it has been totally and completely rejected by the Democrats, and we actually stood together.
We have 49 Republicans, all of us, voted against cloture on the President's supplemental package.
One of the first times I think Republicans have used their leverage in the minority in the United States Senate.
But here's the basic idea.
The Democrats are desperate to get more money to Ukraine.
Republicans, at least most of us, are desperate to get real border security.
So that's the negotiation that's happening.
You want your thing, you better give us our thing.
By the way, it's the most important issue.
In the country, of course, is the American border.
That is where Zelensky is coming in here, is in the middle of this domestic political negotiation between Democrats and Republicans.
Biden, I guarantee what happened is Biden or Blinken called Zelensky and said, Republicans actually are caring more about the border than they are about your country.
You got to come in here and badger these guys and heckle them and make them feel guilty about actually governing their own country for once.
I want to go back to the TAPR thing yesterday.
You laid out the case. | ||
I'd love you to go through it again.
This is about the eastern Russian-speaking border in Ukraine.
All these promises that were made.
And Mershheimer said this.
We now have, I don't know, 75,000 casualties.
The country looks like Dresden.
There's no possibility that you're going to get Crimea back or those eastern provinces.
In fact, over the weekend, all the talk out of the British papers is that the Russians are now looking at a winter offensive, maybe even a strike in Taykiv.
Why does it seem CNN and these people don't even under... When you're laying out these basic facts that are indisputable, it's like the first time Jake Tapper ever heard it.
Look, Steve, it is a fantasy land these people are living in to think that you're going to go back to the 1991 borders of Ukraine.
There is no chance. | ||
There is no military possibility that will be happening.
I've been saying it for a year and now finally at least some people in the press are starting to listen to me.
Now, here's the crazy thing.
When you talk to people in Europe, when you talk to diplomats, we've had diplomats and heads of state come and visit our Senate office, you hear five different things from five different people.
One person will say it's time for negotiation.
One person will say we've got to push it back to the 1991 borders.
One person will say we've got to retake the land bridge to Crimea.
These people have no idea what the hell they're trying to accomplish, so why are we going to write them 61 billion dollars when they don't even know what it's for?
Has anybody walked the Senate through?
Because it's just not $61 billion.
We're $113 billion. | ||
Correct. | ||
This $61 billion is for this year.
The point you made that's not made enough on mainstream media is that we're now in the situation of underwriting their pensions, underwriting the entire government.
It's $61 billion now, but just like Afghanistan, it's another $61 billion after that, another $61 billion after that.
unidentified
|
Correct? | |
We're going to be a half a trillion dollars in this thing before Trump gets back to office.
Oh, absolutely. | ||
We're going to be asked to rebuild their entire country.
That's after funding another $100, $200 billion in military conflict.
There's $300 billion on top of that to rebuild the country.
Then we've got to pay for their pensioners.
We're getting easily a half a trillion dollars in the hole for the Ukraine conflict by the time this is done.
At the very same time, you have people in this town saying we need to cut Social Security.
There are people who would cut Social Security, throw our grandparents into poverty.
unidentified
|
Why? | |
So that one of Zelensky's ministers can buy a bigger yacht?
Kiss my ass, Steve. | ||
It's not happening. | ||
So what's going to happen?
They're going to have a power play tomorrow.
What's going to happen?
And how is this going to play out when we know that the Ukrainian military, there's a big rift now inside of Zelensky's government.
How are you guys going to handle that when he comes, where the elephant in the room is that his own government's coming apart, particularly his military high command, which is saying, hey, we don't want to be left on the hook for this thing.
It wasn't our recommendations like at Bakhmut and other places.
We need to have some negotiation or at least have some rationality that the Russians could have a big counteroffensive in the winter.
Were you asking what should happen or what is going to happen, Steve?
Because these are two very different questions.
What is going to happen is that this guy is going to give a speech.
I would be shocked if we even get an opportunity to ask any real questions.
At least the folks... He will come to the Senate, you're saying, by himself.
He will come to the United States Senate.
I'm sure there will be some advisors there.
But here's what we should be asking.
We should be asking, why is your own government, why are the leaders of your military, the leaders of your parliamentary party saying, you need to negotiate?
Why are you throwing priests in prison?
Why are you saying that this is a war for democracy when you guys have suspended your presidential election basically indefinitely in Ukraine?
We should be asking tough questions here, but that that doesn't happen when Zelensky comes to town, Steve.
It's really sick. | ||
Look, I don't mind him coming to America and making his case.
What really bothers me is that American political leaders, I hate to say it, way too many Republicans are unwilling to actually hold this guy's feet to the fire and ask them the tough questions.
If we're going to write you more money, which of course I don't think that we should, what are you trying to do with it?
Are you going to let some of those priests out of prison?
Are you going to not arrest American journalists?
Because right now they have an American journalist in a Ukrainian jail.
None of the tough questions get asked, which is why I don't think this is fundamentally about America re-evaluating or asking tough questions about the Ukraine policy.
This is about a guy coming to beg and to guilt trip the United States Senate.
I don't like it. | ||
Why is it, when you have all these guys in the Senate been around forever, is it take someone like you that's coming for your first term, and it made some magnificent speeches, but this is the first time you've actually been inside the apparatus, that you're one of the rising stars, and the reason you're a rising star is the intellectual firepower you're putting on the program.
How can that happen? | ||
The Senate was supposed to have all these guys have been doing this for years.
Steve, because they all go through the same institutions, they all go through the same schools, the same backgrounds, and they all get programmed to think a particular way.
I hate to say it, Steve, a lot of what goes on in foreign policy wisdom in Washington D.C.
is these guys are so desperate to get the invitation to the Munich Security Conference in February.
They get to go to the fancy parties and they get nice dinners.
So the Atlantic magazine has tremendous power up on campus.
It absolutely does, and it affects the way that these people think.
They've gone through 30, 40 years of training to be conventional instead of to ask tough questions.
Every single American Republican should be asking right now, why is our country in decline?
Why are we $30 trillion in debt?
Why are we funding a conflict that has no end in sight?
And unfortunately, I do think sometimes it takes people from the outside, whether it's me.
Of course, that was the entire story of the Trump presidency, is sometimes you need outsiders to come in and shake some things up.
This is a real problem, Steve.
It's funny. | ||
I got invited to the Munich Security Conference, and I was talking to my national security guy.
I said, I thought they only invited the guys who repeat the conventional wisdom.
I think even the Atlantic folks, the sort of the Western Alliance people, are waking up to the fact this doesn't make any sense.
There's a story today in the Wall Street Journal, Steve, the Wall Street Journal reporting that the United Kingdom thought about selling off museum pieces to help support the Ukrainian conflict.
This is insanity! | ||
The Financial Times of London has their poll, nearly half of Americans, and the questions weren't asked right.
Half of Americans say we've given too much Ukraine, we've got to back off.
And by the way, if more Americans heard what you had to say with Jake Tapper, which you've got to get out, the number would be 80-20.
Real quickly, only got a little over a minute.
A lot of talk of the future cabinet, the team around Trump.
President Trump gave you a number of shout-outs on Saturday night.
You were down here doing Senate business.
Everybody's talking about at the dinner, you're on the short list to be VP.
What say you, sir? | ||
Look, honored to be considered and I want to help the President however I can.
The thing I remind the President and also a lot of people who talk about VP is what our party really needs is actually America first people at all levels of government.
You need people in the Congress.
You know Steve better than I do.
That one of the problems of the first Trump administration is the president was being fought by members of his own party in Congress and the Senate.
So I can be a great advocate there.
Of course, if he asked me to be his vice president, it would be a great honor.
But I think I'm a most effective advocate for the people of Ohio and also for the agenda in the United States.
And the people in East Palestine, Ohio.
J.D. | ||
Vance has represented them from the beginning.
Senator Vance, how do people get to you?
Social media, all of it?
unidentified
|
J.D. | |
Vance 1 on Twitter. | ||
I'm on all the social media sites, jdvance.com, if they want to come and follow along.
Thank you, Steve. | ||
Please from MAGA and from the America First crowd, please do more CNN and MSNBC.
Your voice, you can tell, Jake Tapper was an absolute shock.
We need you on Morning Mika.
We've got to get out there, Steve.
We've got to actually take the message everywhere because it's the winning message.
If we have to go on offense, we want to go on offense with Senator J.D.
Vance of Ohio. | ||
Sir, thank you. | ||
Honored to have you on here.
Short commercial break.
We're going to go back to New York.
President Trump's going to be in court today.
He's not going to testify.
He's already talked enough.
He's said enough. | ||
This judge is crazy. | ||
Boris Epstein and the team, the legal team, will brief us after a short commercial break.
unidentified
|
right back in a moment. | |
I want to thank Senator Vance for taking time to come here.
Very important with everything we've got going on.
NDAA, the impeachment vote on inquiry on Biden.
Of course, Zelensky drops in the middle of this.
Absolutely outrageous.
I agree with Senator Vance, who's the most even-handed guy on this thing and level-headed.
I want to go to Manhattan now, New York, Boris Epstein.
First, Boris, you're there with the President.
He's made a decision. | ||
Which I strongly advocate is the right decision not to go back in front of this, I don't know, Nazi judge.
Moscow showed it. | ||
Boris, you know about the Moscow show trials.
Is there any difference in this judge in the Manhattan case and then what Stalin had in 1935 of the Moscow show trial, sir?
Steve, honor to be with you.
Honor to be with you. | ||
And it was a great honor to see the one and only Stephen K. Bannon in Manhattan on Saturday, historic night with President Trump.
Giving a powerhouse speech and talking about this weaponization of government, of law enforcement, and the gutting of our justice system.
And Steve, you're right.
I know from family firsthand experience what it is like to live through Stalinist show trials, what it's like to live through a system where there is not a true independent judiciary.
And no, there is absolutely no difference between The targeted law enforcement, the persecutions by prosecutors that is happening now, what was happening under Joseph Stalin in the 1930s, and the rigged judges.
It is literally the same thing.
You've got prosecutors with one goal in mind, right?
The ends justify the means.
As Joseph Stalin says, show me a person, I'll show you a crime.
Vyshensky was one of his main prosecutors.
Same thing is happening here all across the country.
You see it obviously here.
in Manhattan, Manhattan D.A., and the corrupt New York AG.
You see it in Georgia, Fulton County D.A., Farney Willis, and of course, with the one and only Durange Jack Smith.
What is happening is a complete breakdown of the American system of government, and their target is one person, one individual.
That's President Donald J. Trump.
And why? | ||
Because he's dominating full-spectrum dominance all across the board in the race.
Saw it this morning, the Iowa poll.
President Trump up over 50% in Iowa.
And guess what? | ||
In the October poll, Tim Scott and Bergen, between the two of them, had 10 points.
Seven and three, respectively.
Eight of those went to President Trump.
So anybody out there who thinks that the Republican electorate is going for anybody else but President Trump, that this MAGA party is going to back anybody else but President Donald J. Trump, you're kidding yourself.
And nationally, at the general election level, President Trump crushing it in Georgia in a CNN poll, crushing it in Michigan, full-spectrum dominance.
And the American people see right through these Stalinist show trials, Steve.
They see right through this weaponization of law enforcement, of targeting President Trump.
And they're backing the president because they need him.
They want him to save our country.
Boris, CNN, the screaming headline on CNN, and you know it had to hurt them to do this, that Trump is up in Georgia and in Michigan.
Think about that for a second.
This is a place, by the way, he's being persecuted by Fannie Willis in Georgia.
And the electors, the alternative electors, are all being prosecuted in those both states.
He's leading in both those states.
Yet today, and the Wall Street Journal poll was amazing, Trump up, the cross tabs were insane with President Trump getting from minority voters, from young voters, I mean it's virtually every category right now.
Yet, on the morning show on Fox, Fox and Friends, they're touting Nikki Haley's, you know, her poll, the same Murdoch poll, the poll on, you know, about her versus Biden.
Your thoughts? | ||
It's absolute nonsense.
If you look at any of the independent polling, the Emerson polling, even the CNN polling, President Trump beats Joe Biden by higher margins.
The Morning Consult, consistent polling, President Trump dominating Joe Biden, while both the sanctimonious and the South Carolina governor, Burt Brayness, President Trump, Calls her.
She gets crushed by Joe Biden.
Again, why? | ||
The MAGA electorate, which is 99% of today's Republican Party, is not going to go and back any of these Uniparty candidates.
Rhonda's sanctimonies have been exposed.
Exposed as just another Uniparty show.
And with Nikki Haley, how do you know whatever she's saying is true?
She says one thing one day, oh, I'm not going to run against President Trump.
Now she's running. | ||
I'm telling you this, Nikki Haley's donors are calling me saying, we're going to be with you once President Trump wins.
Hey, you know what? | ||
My response to them is, that's going to be too late.
But the bottom line is, even our donors know, they know for a fact, that only President Trump could win the primary and can win the general.
And that is also reflected in that Des Moines Register poll.
The Des Moines Register poll, which is not friendly to BAGA, not friendly to President Trump, but again, has him up.
Steve, that poll has President Trump up by the largest margin in the poll's history.
With this little time to go before the actual caucuses.
Why? | ||
Because the electorate in Iowa knows, just like across the country, that President Trump is the only one to beat Joe Biden, to beat whoever the Democrats put up there, to save our country, and in fact, with everything going on from the Middle East to Ukraine to the disasters all across the country, all across the universe, to save the world.
Des Moines Register has President Trump over 50%, so this is a done deal, and as Boris brings up, every time somebody peels out, the backup vote by folks is President Trump, so it's only going to increase.
Boris, before I let you go, Saturday night was extraordinary in that President Trump, and I thought it was like seeing Frank Sinatra, the Chairman of the Board, he was, his personal stories On so many different levels, and his thoughts and insights to what he has to do, when he went off the script of the speech, the speech itself was great, but when he went off, was probably, you know, for almost an hour of it, and told not just the personal stories, but gave his insights into what needs to be done.
Pretty extraordinary.
Gavin Wax is going to be in here later.
I mean, the New York Young Republicans Club, down at Cipriani's, absolutely historic event.
Do you agree? | ||
They knocked it out of the park.
Gavin Watts did a great job.
The New Yorkian Republicans did an amazing job.
Steve Yu, of course, bringing your support and your supporters to the event.
President Trump called out your name repeatedly because you've been there from the very beginning.
You've been there and you were, as President Trump said at the event, Push came to shove after that event in October of 2016.
You said 100% that Donald Trump will win the presidency.
You turned out to be right, President Trump being there.
Again, also thanking Rudy Giuliani, the greatest mayor in America's history, Bernie Kerrick, an American hero.
The feeling in that room was so vintage 2016, and President Trump delivered one of his absolute signature powerhouse performances.
You're right, it was a little bit like Sinatra at the Sands, combined with strength on substance, on policy, and leading us to where this country and the world need to go once President Trump is back in office in January 2025.
Boris, thank you. | ||
How do people follow you now more than ever?
You're with the President today.
People need to keep up with what Boris is thinking.
Steve, thanks so much again.
Honor to be with you. | ||
Honor to be with Aposti.

Boris, thank you very much.
Honor to have you on here.
I want to turn now to a frequent contributor here at the War Room, and we normally call her out to come on to help us with matters of history, the Constitution, current events, as it applies to the direction of this Republic.
But I'm bringing in Dr. Carol Swain today for something totally different.
Dr. Swain, there's quite a controversy.
Chris Rufo might have brought it up.
Everybody's focused on Stefanik and these presidents of the Ivy League schools about the anti-semitism, the weak responses they got, all that.
But it turns out over the weekend that the president of Harvard, and having gone there and graduated from there, it's shocking.
I'm still gobsmacked, so I want to get you on this morning.
And thank you for carving out time to actually see if this is true or not.
I think Rufo and some other people came up with the fact that Dr. Gay actually plagiarized sections of her Ph.D.
from your writings, ma'am?
Yes. | ||
In 1993, I published a book, Black Faces, Black Interests, the Representation of African Americans in Congress.
That book won three national prizes, was cited by the Supreme Court on three occasions, three different sites, and Library Choice magazine selected the book as one of the outstanding books of its year.
And so that book, there was a sentence and also part of a paragraph where she used the word, but she did not put quotation marks around it.
And there were other people, Frank Gillian, I believe, and another political scientist whose work was also borrowed from.
And I personally I could be more willing to forgive that, maybe that was a mistake, but I'm more concerned that her whole research agenda that earned her tenure at, I believe she was at Stanford first, and then she was hired and promoted to full professorship at Harvard, it really builds on my research.
And she does not acknowledge that in her articles she has A whole list of people's, of quote, of citations, but she doesn't really acknowledge the fact that she's trying to refute my work.
She's trying to build on my work.
It's like her whole research agenda came from black faces, black interests, and the impact of my work.
And I believe that her committee and the reviewers and the people who have pushed her along, they are as much to blame as she is.
We've got about a minute.
I want to hold you through the break.
But how could this happen?
Your work, I mean, you became, you were a tenured professor at Princeton.
You became, that work was such a seminal, that work was so seminal.
How could they've overlooked, how could she think she's going to steal pieces of it in the research and get away with it?
And how could the board and others, particularly after her thing came out, miss this?
Give me 30 seconds of that and then I'll hold you.
How could this have been missed up until now?
She did get away with it.
And there's a white professor that did something very similar.
And I believe that when you have a conservative thesis, I was a Democrat at the time, but among some liberals, my work was not very popular.
They did not care. | ||
They did not care. | ||
They have always rewarded the left and punished people whose ideas strayed outside the mainstream.
Dr. Swain, can you please hang on?
We're going to take a short commercial break.
We're going to bring Dr. Carol Swain back.
This is a controversy that I think has to be rectified.
I think it has to be rectified in the next 24 hours.
I don't understand how she can remain, even regardless of her debacle presentation in front of Elise Stefanik and the committee the other day.
This, to me, is just as serious.
Harvard is going to be a place of any kind of intellectual reputation.
Short commercial break, Dr. Swender, join us on the other side.
unidentified
|
Okay, there's so much going on this week.
I don't know how they're going to get out of town on Friday, but hey, we're going to work it every day.
Okay, there's so much going on this week.
I don't know how they're going to get out of town on Friday, but hey, we're going to work it every day.
The biggest thing is this, is this, uh, the financial crisis.
And of course, now we're hearing that, you know, the Senate Democrats are saying you can't have any budget cuts at all.
They'd be catastrophic.
It's all about this handshake deal.
The Lee story up on the Hill is about the handshake deal with McCarthy.
I think I've got something on Getter about that, the McCarthy deal.
This thing's a debacle.
And they're saying Johnson is going to propose a one year CR.
Please, Speaker, don't, don't, don't do that.
And they say, well, it has 1% cuts.
We need so much deeper than 1% cuts.
This is just a fiasco. | ||
Check out birchgold.com slash Bannon, End of the Dollar Empire.
Now more than ever, it's totally free.
You need to get it up to speed.
The four installments, we're working on the fifth.
But also it's time to ask Philip Patrick and the team, what are the driving forces that keeps taking gold up to record highs?
Make sure you get the answer.
And then sit back and get a big pot of Warpath coffee, particularly the dark roast, Warpath.coffee.
Slash Worm, get the discount.
Get the Dark Roast Mariners Blend.
If you've never tried Dark Roast, it's too bitter, it's too tarsh, this French Roast.
No, try this. | ||
Just try the Dark Roast.
They got all kind of, if you like mild roast, breakfast blends, they got it all.
But I'm a devotee and advocate, and I've worked with Tej Gill and the team over there, the Navy SEALs, for over a year, year and a half, to get this blend right.
Check it out. | ||
Have a big drink of coffee and sit there and contemplate and think.
The show is to give you information and access so you can think.
You make your own decisions.
You're free men and free women.
Dr. Swain, I just want to go back and hit this one more time because to me, let me ask you, you're one of the, you know, when I look at somebody that lived Christianity, I look at Dr. Swain.
You are, you have a big heart.
Tough mind. | ||
You're very tough-minded, but you have a big heart.
Do you believe, ma'am, that Dr. Gay, that she has violated enough the premise of intellectual honesty and truth, given your work and her borrowing from your work and plagiarism of your work and your research over many, many years, that she should step down from Harvard on just this alone?
Let's leave aside the anti-Semitic.
Just this issue alone, she should step down as president of Harvard?
Well, based on her record, she would not have been tenured at all based on the work that she produced, because it's not original path-breaking work.
And so, as far as the pattern of plagiarism, I think there are more things that have been disturbing about her leadership, and I do believe that she should step down, as well as the remaining Professor that has not resigned because they are not people that have the moral fortitude to lead young people.
And it seemed as if they used the same coaches because their responses were very similar.
And we can do better in America.
And as far as I'm concerned, they're pretty much destroyed the Ivy League.
Dr. Swain Lane, one last thing.
This has all come up about anti-Semitism and the responses and the issues of Intifada and these shouts, but isn't it true that conservatives, I mean, And quite frankly, Dershowitz and these guys, all big ACLU guys, they pushed DEI.
DEI was everything. | ||
You were one of the lone voices.
And people should understand, Dr. Swain walked away from Princeton, etc.
Isn't this deeper than just anti-Semitism?
This, really, the new Gestapo at these Ivy League schools against conservative voices like yourself?
Well, I can tell you that they have lowered the standards to a whole new low.
It's like that low. | ||
They have jettisoned any standards.
Old-style affirmative action allowed racial and ethnic minorities to get their feet in the door, but you had to prove yourself.
And that doesn't seem to be the case today.
All you have to do is mild their talking points.
And so the white progressives are the real winners.
Everyone else is a loser.
And Dr. Gay and some of the others have become poster children for my book, The Adversity of Diversity, because When we look at what they have made of society, whether it's corporations or the colleges and universities, everything is in decline, and it's because of the lowered standards and the social engineering.
We need to stop the social engineering.
We need to hold everyone to the same standard.
We need to go back to our civil rights laws and the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution, and then we'll be okay.
Dr. Swain, now more than ever, people need to get your book, but they also need to get to your news site and your writings and your social media.
This is why I'm so proud of having you on the show for so many years.
When it gets down to a national debate and the key moment about the intellectual leadership of this country, You're right in the middle of the mix.
They stole your work. | ||
They stole your work to get ahead.
They stole your work to get ahead, and now they've lied about it.
How do people get to all your writings, your books, your news site, all of it?
Well, Steve, I am on Twitter at carolynswayne.com, and I intend to stay until they kick me off.
And my website is bethepeoplenews.com.
And I also have a site carolmswayne.com and I believe that there's power talking to everyone and not just preaching to the choir.
And I do know that people have changed their minds and hearts because of some of the dialogue that takes place on my site.
So I'm out there, you know, fighting the fight as I feel led to do so.
And I have no ill will towards Dr. Gay.
I believe that the progressives are as responsible as she is because they set up the situation.
They allowed it to continue.
They're the ones who hand out the rewards.
I might add white progressives.
When people talk about race, remember these are white progressives.
unidentified
|
White progressives that have done this.
Dr. Swain, we love having you on here.
You know the audience loves you.
One of the reasons everybody loves you, you're so gentle and so nice, but so intellectually fierce, and you never back down.
I think that's why people admire you and love you so much.
So thank you very much for coming on today.
We're going to continue to focus on this all throughout this week, ma'am.
Thank you so much. | ||
unidentified
|
Take care. | |
You see, Carol Swain's a quality person.
Incredible intellect and incredible work.
And look what they've done.
The president of Harvard should step down immediately.
This is beyond the anti-Semites.
That's bad enough. | ||
But what she's done and what's been exposed and what Chris Ruffo has exposed and more is going to come out.
If you've done it once, more is going to come out.
But it shows you, you have the caliber of person of a Dr. Carol Swain.
And what do they do? | ||
They drive Dr. Swain out.
Remember, she was a tenured, early tenured professor at Princeton.
Princeton, you know, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, the big three.
And that may be the toughest to get into as an undergraduate now.
So, it just shows you. | ||
Stole her work, plagiarized her work, and now they're lying about it.
Jack Posobiec, thank you so much for coming on.
Brother, we got a big, huge event, and I want to make sure everybody... The thing on Saturday for the War Room Posse, we had a huge War Room Posse turnout at the New York Young Republicans Club annual gala.
It was amazing, just incredible.
President Trump was like I've never seen him before.
But we have another big event this coming weekend, and then Monday and Tuesday afterwards, the War Room is going to be there.
Talk to me. | ||
We need every person in the Phoenix, and don't miss this.
Number one, They're going to be great events.
You're going to learn. | ||
You're going to meet people.
We're going to have, you know, we're going to do meet and greets.
We're going to do sidebars, but you're going to have a ton of fun.
It's Saturday night and I'm not a big name of these galas.
I go to almost none. | ||
The only one I really commit to every year is the New York Young Republicans because of Vish Burrow and Gavin Wax and what they've done to turn that around.
But Jack, that was just absolutely a blast.
Tell me about Turning Point USA.
We got to have a massive turnout there.
Well, Steve, this event that's taking place at Turning Point USA in Phoenix.
Remember, this is Maricopa County, okay?
So, at this event, this is going to be the gathering before the storm, very much in the same way that the New York Gala became the gathering there.
At Saturday night, we were up there.
President Trump was there.
When Alexander went to invade Persia, before he invaded Persia, 333 BC, Alexander held a series of banquets with his generals, with his lieutenants, to get them ready to prepare for what was to come.
This is Alexander and the Macedonians.
That was Trump at that gala on Saturday.
That's going to be this AmericaFest.
Out there, these are the banquets where the Macedonians are gathering forward because we are about to march into Persia.
We are about to go up against the Persian Empire.
Darius, all of it, and he will lead us.
President Trump will lead the Macedonians to victory.
That's what this was. | ||
And so they go, you know, Steve, I don't know, maybe you'd be, I don't know, Steve, I guess would be like, you'd be Ptolemy, right?
I guess up there. | ||
And then so, so Gavin, I guess is Hephaestus and you just, you know, you go down the list of, um, we could, we could argue.
All I want is yours. | ||
Bars, of course, is Patroclus.
All I want is all of it. | ||
I just want my share to be Egypt.
It all works. | ||
Yeah, just get Egypt. | ||
It all works. | ||
It all works. | ||
It was extraordinary. | ||
That means you get Nefertiti, you get Cleopatra, you get all of it.
It'll be great. | ||
So we're walking through, and of course we can argue over who Achilles is, but when we go through that event on Saturday night of Alexander and the Macedonians, then the next gathering coming forward, the really massive event, this is going to be Phoenix.
The reason, Steve, that it's there, that Charlie holds it there, that's Maricopa County.
Because we know that Maricopa County was the ground zero of the steal of 2020.
That one county, more than any other county, was the one where we know definitively That this was taken away from the president, that it was taken away from the patriots, and it was taken away from the people of this country.
That is why it is incumbent on every other patriot, every single patriot within the sound of my voice, if you can get there.
It is this weekend, the 16th to the 19th.
We have everyone. | ||
Tucker is coming. | ||
I will be there. | ||
Steve, you will be there.
Charlie will be there, and Patrick Bette David.
We're doing all the shows.
Tim Poole on Timcast. | ||
All of our shows will be live.
All of our shows will be there, public, so you can walk up, you can see the war room, you can see human events.
I'm not sure exactly if Tucker will be doing his show live, but I know Tim Poole will be doing his show live.
Patrick Bette David. | ||
Of course, all the people here, Real America's Voice.
This is the gathering, the full gathering of the Macedonians prior to our march into Persia.
So count yourself among that number, count yourself among the people who stood in the breach when America hung in the balance, and come to AmericaFest.
You go to AmFest.com, you can use promo code POSO if you want to, or you could use any other promo code, I don't even care for this one, to get money off of your ticket, because we want everyone, as many people as possible, to come into that building My brother's flying out.
It's going to be a family affair.
Everyone needs to be there because this is it.
We are going to put our battle plan.
And you notice, by the way, that President Trump revealed some of that battle plan on Saturday night where he talked about we are going to put states like New York into play.
We're going to put New Jersey into play.
We're going to put states like Virginia in play.
Now we've got the CNN poll that says Michigan.
That Trump is dominating in Michigan.
We got the Des Moines Register poll that says Trump is in the primary.
The Des Moines Register, which is the gold star poll of Iowa, says that President Trump is over 50%.
Over 50% in Iowa. | ||
So to Bob Vander Plaats, the $95,000 man, and everybody else out there, alright, why don't you go and take your money and set it all on fire because that's about as good as how you've done.
You know what? | ||
Turn around, make the endorsement, drop out of the race, put that money towards a ballot harvesting operation that we can run across the country in these blue states because we are going to put the blue states in play.
And President Trump revealed just a little bit of that strategy on Saturday night when he was meeting with his generals, with his lieutenants.
Alexander and the Macedonians, and clearly that is going to be his strategy going forward, that we are going to put every single state, this is a 50-state strategy he's laying out, to put this into play to force the Democrats to spread their money.
Including New York City.
Hang on one second, Jack.
I gotta get to Alex Jones back on Twitter.
Jack, just hold for a second.
Short break, Gavin Waxman joins, and we have a surprise guest in the War Room.
Back in a moment. | ||
unidentified
|
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bowne.
Okay, make sure you don't get caught up in the CCP's shutdown of the supply chains.
Biden's going to put out some worthless executive order, but Jace Medical came up with a solution off of Rosemary Gibson's book.
Go to Dr. Sean's team at jacemedical.com.
Do not let the CCP's control of the pharmaceutical supply chain from mainland China affect you.
Go to jacemedical.com today.
Frank Gaffney. | ||
So I've got Gavin Wax on deck.
I've got Pasobagam coming back, too.
Frank Gaffney's going to join us at 11, and here's why.
I've got a team. | ||
We're going to go through the NDAA, which is a total disaster, totally woke and weaponized.
But we're also going to start naming names on these field-grade officers that Tommy Tuberville's fight of why they can't be further promoted.
And Gaffney's going to be on.
But in doing that, we have a guest here just dropped by, Congressman Matt Rosendale from Montana.
Associated Press, sir, is breaking a news story.
We just had J.D. | ||
Vance sitting right there a few minutes ago about this outrageous that Zelensky's coming in the middle of this debate about border security.
I can't even describe to you what the story says.
Zelensky is going to this afternoon address the United States military.
The Biden regime is allowing a foreign leader to come in here during an intense debate, an intense debate really about domestic policy of our border for national security.
And they're allowing a foreign leader to come and address our military.
This is outrageous. | ||
And feel great officers and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Should put your letters of resignation in before you allow this happen.
This is direct involvement in politics.
This regime is out of control.
Matt Rosendale. | ||
unidentified
|
They are absolutely out of control.
They started this a year and a half ago.
When they allowed Zelensky to address a joint session that was in the auditorium, okay, the Congressional Auditorium, and they started playing movies for us about these beautiful streets, the streets of Ukraine, and how they looked three days ago, and then they would show after they were bombed out what they looked like.
You talk about an organized, orchestrated campaign of propaganda, it is disgraceful and now they're going to address our military?
The supplemental that Biden is trying to push through, a hundred and six billion dollars I think, sixty billion of which they're trying to launder through Ukraine.
By the way, to have to pay for their pension funds, people here don't have pension funds, they don't have health care, you're paying for health care, pension funds, all of it.
We've already decided there's no money for Ukraine, now they're trying to throw in some bells and whistles on the border to try to bribe us, hold our border security.
unidentified
|
It's not for border security!
It's not for border security!
I've been down to the border several times, and the Border Patrol will tell you, don't send more money down here, because you're going to do one of two things.
Either build housing, so that the illegals can stay right here on the border, and provide social programs for them.
Or you're going to hire more Border Patrol people, travel agents, so we can process people faster and get them into the country faster.
Either way, it is an incredibly bad idea.
The folks in Montana, where do they stand on this more money for Ukraine, no money for the border?
unidentified
|
They are not going to stand for it.
The folks in Montana are ready to start having some bus caravans to travel to the southern border to help our friends and allies in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California to protect the border.
That's where the people of Montana are.
Big announcement from you about President Trump.
Tell us about it. | ||
unidentified
|
We came out, we've been telling President Trump that we want to help him any way we possibly can and to put my support behind him in the way that it would be most beneficial for him and we announced this morning 100% support of endorsing
President Donald J. Trump, because he's the only person that's going to get us back on track to make America great again, to focus on the things that are going to help our country, and he's also the only person who's going to go against the trifecta.
Joe Biden, Mitch McConnell, and Chuck Schumer.
You're too much of a gentleman.
But in the war room, last week, one of the most outrageous tweets I've seen from the Republican Senatorial Fund run by Danes put out that for your fight against McCarthy, that you were a Democratic operative.
I called Danes out, and it's not about you, it's about Danes.
Danes, I will meet you anywhere in Montana, I'll meet you anywhere in the country, you can come here in the War Room and we'll play fair, play nice, but I will rip your face off about your record and what you said, and you're a gutless coward for putting that out and not coming out personally.
And why don't you just come out and personally attack Rosendale?
And stop hiding behind the NRSC.
Just be a man. | ||
Montana is known as a state of men, right?
I mean, strong women, strong men, patriots, America first.
unidentified
|
Your word is your bond. | |
Salt of the earth to make, in a vast wilderness out there, to make that state what it is, just incredible.
The history of the people out there, and to have someone like Steve Daines is an embarrassment.
What's your response, not to Daines, but to them calling you a democratic operative, for basically defending this country in our budget?
unidentified
|
This sounds like Zelensky's propaganda to go out there and put information out like, the people of Montana have elected me several times over.
They know me. | ||
They trust me. | ||
And because some Democrat organization is taking shots at the National Committee's poster boy, how in the world they can transmit that into or project that onto me?
That's what it was all about.
You mean the Administrative State guy, the government contractor?
unidentified
|
Yeah. | |
Government contractor's got no chance.
unidentified
|
Because somebody's out there telling the truth about what his background is, all of a sudden I'm benefiting from it, and I'm a Democrat operative.
It's laughable. | ||
Even the most liberal publications and media outlets in the state say it's laughable.
We've got two minutes left, but I've got to talk to you about this week.
Why are people going home?
I know you want to go back to Montana, but why are we leaving with the budget?
You know, now we're talking about a one-year CR sometime in January.
You've sat down a brief, Speaker Johnson, we've got about a minute.
What are you telling Speaker Johnson he needs to focus on?
unidentified
|
I have told him that we need to focus on delivering our 12 appropriation bills, putting them into the Senate.
The remaining ones, we only have, I think, four of the appropriation bills remaining to put into the Senate, and then say, have a nice Christmas, guys.
We've done our job. | ||
I'm tired of people that say Chuck Schumer says that he's only going to do this, and Chuck Schumer says he's only going to do that.
The reason that he gets away with that is because we need Bold, strong, principled leaders that walk in and say, Chuck, here's how it's going to be.
See ya! | ||
You've endorsed President Trump today.
Where do people go to your website, social media, all of it to get more?
unidentified
|
I need support now more than ever because the National Republican Senate Committee is going berserk.
They're going after my staff, they're going after my contributors, and they're going after my vendors, the people that are helping me run a campaign, not formontana.com.
unidentified
|
MattFORMontana.com. | |
The folks coming after Rosendale and this great staff he's got, these patrons, have stood up in the breach on McCarthy from the beginning, from January, and would not bend.
Daines and that entire crowd, you're nothing but Mitch McConnell's bitch, okay?
Let me be brutally frank, and anywhere, anytime, bro, you want to do it, just contact us.
Just anywhere, anytime.
On any topic. | ||
Okay, we're going to take a short break.
Thank you very much, Congressman.
Gavin Wax from the New York Young Republicans Club.
Of course, the Jack Posobiec, Frank Gaffney talking about the NDA.
We've got a lot to do in the second hour, even be more lit.
We'll see you back here in about 90 seconds.
unidentified
|
Spread the word all through Hong Kong.
We will fight till they're all gone.
We rejoice when there's no more. |
