Together, we're taking on some of the most menacing forces and vicious opponents our people have ever seen.
No matter how hateful and corrupt the communists and criminals we're fighting against may be, you must never forget that our nation does not belong to them.
unidentified
This nation belongs to you, Front Row Joes.
donald j trump
This is your home.
This is your heritage.
And our American liberty is your God-given right.
unidentified
If you look at the U.K.
event, which I was part of, the U.K.
government took the bait, took the ideas, decided to lead.
They're very good at this.
And they came out with very sensible guidelines.
And because the U.S.
and the U.K.
have worked really well together, there's a group within the National Security, NSC here, that is particularly good at this.
And they got it right, and that produced this EO, which is the longest EO, I think, in histories of executive orders.
Which says that each of the aspects of our government are to get organized around this.
If you look at what we're doing collectively, it's not enough.
We're not claiming this is the end solution.
donald j trump
Just this week, Biden's Homeland Security Secretary even admitted that they are weaponizing artificial intelligence to target American citizens for political speech.
Did you hear that?
He admitted it!
unidentified
Well, at least he was honest.
donald j trump
When I'm re-elected, I will cancel Biden's artificial intelligence executive order and ban the use of AI to censor the speech of American citizens on day one.
alejandro mayorkas
We are looking at how we can harness AI to advance our mission, to your first question, Ina, and then also defending against the adverse use of AI, whether that's in the context of disinformation, whether that's in the context of reducing barriers to the development of biological weapons, for example.
unidentified
That is something that we're very keenly focused on and that the President's executive order speaks of specifically.
Aren't a huge portion of the threats facing us people that are no longer guided by facts within our own borders?
I mean, it seems to me that domestic terrorism fueled by people who have a different understanding of facts, to put it mildly, is one of the major threats facing the country.
Well, one element of it is false narratives.
I was going to say, don't they think an election was stolen?
False narratives.
But the most predominant source of that violence is actually ideologies of hate.
donald j trump
But Joe Biden is not the defender of American democracy.
Joe Biden is the destroyer of American democracy.
It's him and his people.
They're the wreckers of the American dream.
The American dream is dead with them in office.
It's sad.
We had such a dream.
We had such an American dream.
We had such an incredible administration.
But it died when these people came into office.
joe scarborough
It's just staggering that people that I know, people that I grew up with, could still even consider voting for this autocrat.
unidentified
Joe, I'm glad you went through the litany of authoritarian intentions that Donald Trump has for a second term, because any one of those items, just as a standalone, is jaw-dropping and unacceptable and illiberal.
And put together as a whole, it's so disturbing and is why this Atlantic essay collection is so important.
What you see of Trump big picture, though, all of these ideas that he's pushing, it's the reasonable outcome of the move into political extremism and how Donald Trump is trying to radicalize his followers to the extent that he can do pretty much whatever he wants to.
And so far, he's been pretty successful in that, you know, there's some polling that suggests that one in five Americans, that they are radicalized to the state of An extremist by the same indicators that we would have used when we polled post 9-11.
Extremism and terrorism in the Middle East.
And it's incredibly scary that so much of the country is being divided in this way for political expediency and for power.
And that's why it's important for those who do care about democratic institutions to keep speaking out.
donald j trump
When day one, I will sign a new executive order to cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity and other inappropriate racial, sexual or political content on our children.
And I will not give one penny to any school that has a vaccine mandate or a mask mandate.
And this is one I can't even believe I have to say.
unidentified
I will keep men out of women's sports.
I will fully uphold the Second Amendment, and I have done that.
donald j trump
I will protect innocent life.
We will restore free speech.
We do not have free speech.
And I will secure our elections.
Our goal will be, as I said before, one day voting with paper ballots and voter IDs.
Very simple.
And by the way, do you know how much money you save on the machines?
you'll be spending one-tenth or less to get better elections, safer elections.
But until then, Republicans must win so I can get that job done.
If you want to save America from crooked Joe Biden, then get every patriot you know, make sure they're registered Republicans, and get them out to vote.
unidentified
You say Donald Trump, if he is re-elected, it will be the end of the republic.
What do you mean?
He's told us what he will do.
It's very easy to see the steps that he will take.
People who say, well, if he's elected, it's not that dangerous because we have all of these checks and balances, don't fully understand the extent to which the Republicans in Congress today have been co-opted.
One of the things that we see happening today is a sort of a sleepwalking into I think, you know, what you're sort of, what you're sort of getting at here is Christian nationalism, right?
I read the, I haven't read the book yet, but I read the piece that you put out in The Atlantic about it that ended with the pastor who took over for your father, who was trying to fight the takeover of Trump in the, in the church.
You asked him what's happened to the evangelicals in America and he said they love America too much.
It's like they're, is that what we're dealing with here?
Is this what, what this, what the evangelical, or at least for some evangelicals that are supporting Morphed into Christian nationalism?
I think so.
And listen, Christian nationalism is a loaded term and it means different things to different people.
So I think clarifying in this context what the definition is, is helpful.
At the end of the day, if you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are called to a citizenship in heaven.
And you are called to be a part of the kingdom of God.
And we are warned as Christians throughout scripture, Old Testament and New Testament, prayers and epistles, all the way through.
It's not ambiguous that your identity is rooted in heaven.
Your identity is rooted in following Jesus.
Unfortunately...
I think this love of country, which can be healthy to a point, over-realized among some of these evangelical Christians, has sort of merged two kingdoms into one, and has created this belief that somehow, if America falls, then God himself is defeated.
When, again, as Christians, we believe that Jesus triumphed over the grave, so there is no such thing as defeat.
When you begin to think of America as almost this covenant nation, that God has ordained us, God has blessed us, and you are fighting for God by fighting for America, that is Christian nationalism, and that is what has infected much of the church today.
You're better and it works. Mine worked. And then, no?
Well, the former president finally got around to some campaign promises amid lots of cheering, as you heard.
Many untruths.
The 2020 election was not rigged.
It was not stolen.
steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
I got a free shot on all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
unidentified
MAGA Media.
jake tapper
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
It's Monday, 4 December in the year of our Lord, 2023.
Boy, I gotta tell you, I gotta give a hat tip to the team in Denver and particularly The very hard-working War Room production team that put together, I think, maybe the best cold open we've ever had.
First, we took President Trump's historic speech.
The speech on Saturday was quite historic.
He turned the tide.
It was an inflection point.
He turned the tide.
And pointed the guns back onto the Biden regime.
There's all this nonsense about, you know, fascism and anti-democracy when they're obviously the fascists and are building an industrial state led by technology and capital.
Tonight, it's beyond suppression of First Amendment.
It's beyond just information.
This is not about just suppressing information.
This is about total abject control.
This is the CCP model actually more perfected with American technology and American capitalism.
That's what last week's Monday conference on artificial intelligence was there to celebrate and to push out to all the elites in the country what had been done with this executive order.
President Trump, very systematically on Saturday, in really a historic speech, went through everything the Biden regime has done to take away your rights.
And not simply that, but to control you.
Not simply to control the narrative, but to start to control people in this country.
It's getting more and more obvious, and President Trump is now going to make that a major part of the campaign.
Here's the reason.
Biden can't sell.
You've seen all the stories.
We've put them on Getter all weekend.
They can't sell Bidenomics because, obviously, it's a total disaster.
In fact, the House Democrats don't even want to use the term Bidenomics anymore.
He can't push His national security or foreign policy because this war is breaking out all over we're getting sucked into you've got the United States Navy destroyer and God knows why we're in the Red Sea because that's just a shooting gallery taking incoming from Persian militias the Houthi militias down the tip of Saudi Arabia are shooting at commercial vessels but particularly shooting at United States Navy combatants like we're sitting there trying to get a Gulf of Tung King
And so you've got last night the Venezuelans, only by 95% to 5%, passed a referendum to essentially take over half of Guyana, of which they're going to do militarily to get the oil resources now that they realize that Guyana is the new Saudi Arabia.
Of Latin America.
So Biden's got nothing to sell.
His performance when compared to Trump's peace and prosperity, he's loosened by 10 points or more.
So their only thing they've got is, oh, Trump's a fascist.
Trump's supporters are fascists.
They're all Hitler youth.
And Trump's the anti-Democrat.
Obviously, that's a total lie.
And President Trump threw down Hart and walked through it to the fact That the war room posse, your voice was heard.
The first thing he's going to do, he's going to rescind, as Schmidt said, the longest executive order ever written that ties in and makes artificial intelligence central to every aspect of the government.
This is something they worked on with MI5 and MI6.
That's the UK event that Schmidt's talking about.
President Trump said, hey, suck on this.
The first thing I'm going to do is rescind that executive order.
And this is why I don't know why the House is not having hearings that are lasting 18, 20 hours a day to get these folks up there and keyhole them exactly what they're working on.
And where's the money going?
It's just an executive order.
The House still has the money has to come from the House.
What is going on?
President Trump just his story, but then the end was the beauty.
That's Tim Alberta.
He's a total establishment hack.
He wrote one of the dumbest books ever on the change of the Republican Party, really to the eyes of Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan.
But now, because he's an ex-preacher's son or something, and as you know, most of the problems in the evangelical church come from sons of preachers, just as the congregants, particularly the female ones.
He's there, and he's a son of a preacher, and so he sits there and goes, The problem we have, here's the problem we have, the central problem in the country is that MAGA loves America too much.
You're too patriotic and you love the country too much.
They're saying their congregation, the problem in the congregation, yo dude, look out there of what's happening to this country, of the depravity out there.
The problem is not your congregation loves America too much.
The problem is your congregation, because of your example, the Catholic church's leadership's example, people are not in the pews anymore.
And they're not in the pews anymore because you think love of country is a mortal sin.
Okay, not that we don't have a covenant here.
We're the New Jerusalem, and we are going to fight to make sure it stays the New Jerusalem.
They don't like it, and they can suck on that because we don't care.
Okay, short commercial break.
We're going to get to much more about this.
We're going to break it all down, plus updates on geopolitics, the economy, capital markets, gold, everything next in the War Room.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bamm.
steve bannon
If we can get the clips, I want to play the Tim Alberta clip one more time and I want to play the Trump clip.
I like to play the Alberta clip first, if we can do that, guys.
Just tell me when you're ready.
Let's hang on for one second.
I want to do something.
Okay, gold closed at $2,089.
We're not here to give you personal financial advice.
We always talk to you about that.
What the show's trying to do with our sponsors And being selective is things that can potentially impact your life, whether that's the patriot economy, whether that is the preparation or the self-reliance part of the economy, whether it's health, those types of things.
Later today, we're going to talk about credit card and credit card debt.
Over a trillion dollars of credit card debt now at 30% APR.
The single biggest reason they say that the generation under 30 is not going to be able to get ahead because they're just on a treadmill right now.
And if they get a bonus at the end of the year, that bonus is just basically pay down some credit card debt and then to keep going.
But the gold situation, I think you have to, we try to lay out the macro and I think we've got a pretty good track record.
The most important thing is for you to understand why gold is where it is.
Understand that.
Whether you make a decision or not to add it to your portfolio, put some of your pension money there, etc., allocate your resources, or even if you don't have a lot of money, if you say, hey, maybe instead of putting it in a bank, I put it in gold, that's a decision for you.
What's important for you is to understand why gold is where it is.
As a member of the War Room Posse and as, you know, the tip of the spear, this cadre that is changing the direction of the country and therefore the world, and that's happening.
Remember, you're the lead kind of battalion of the Trump movement.
You're always there to do the work.
You're always there to do the nitty-gritty, whether it's precinct committee or whether to be the pressure campaign in the House, and we're going to have to get on another one on that.
We're going to talk about it in a minute.
It's all you and so it's important for you to understand this not just for your personal life, but also for your community and the direction of the nation.
That's what we've done.
It's been totally free.
I think it's two years now two and a half years.
We've been doing the end of the dollar Empire because we saw as soon as Biden came in and what they're spending what they were doing the southern border the first couple days and what they were doing.
With pushing forward when we didn't have a drop in aggregate demand, all this massive spending and massive spending programs, that inflation was going to explode, that was going to trickle down into the bond market, it was going to trickle down into the capitalization of the banks, all of it.
And so we wanted you to understand what it meant for us to be the prime reserve currency.
Why did we have the ability to even run these massive deficits, which are going to be huge and now are structural and in perpetuity?
So the end of the dollar empire does that.
It's four installments.
We're doing a fifth.
Right now, we're working with Philip Patrick and the team, and it'll be out hopefully before the holidays, maybe at just the beginning of the year.
But the third, I want you to read them all, but the third is the most important for right now, which is the debt trap and to understand what these deficits mean.
Because remember, we've gone through a while where they had this radical theory called modern monetary theory, came up by some French guy, said deficits don't matter.
Deficits don't matter.
If you ever have a problem, you just massively raise taxes.
Of course, you know that that's not All that's not true.
And it's gotten us into this situation, what we're in.
But I also want you to talk to Philip Patrick and the team and get on the phone with them and say, hey, I understand that.
But tell me why the central banks throughout the world, the BRICS nations, which are clearly now you see aligned in a geostrategic challenge to the West.
And they're making alliances that wouldn't normally be made.
This is why the Muslim Brotherhood, which is a Sharia supremacist organization, and the Persians, which have their version of Islam, which is Sharia supremacist.
Why the Turks?
Why the restoration of the Ottoman Empire, which Erdogan thinks he's a historical figure to do.
The KGB in Moscow clearly run and thought through strategically and underwritten by the Chinese Communist Party, now the Venezuelans.
They voted last night 95 to 5 to essentially take over half the nation of Guyana.
And as we had the special on the Monroe Doctrine, in the old days nobody would think about doing things like that.
In the new days under the Biden regime, of course, they're going to do it.
So this is why, for 5,000 years in mankind's history, gold has been a hedge.
It's one of the reasons it's driving this intensity about gold today.
But you have to make that decision.
But what we want you to do is understand it.
Understand it first.
So that you can be conversant about it so that, and particularly as MAGA goes forward and we win the 2024 election, you know, just think about it.
If you read the fourth installment about why we got off the gold standard, why President Nixon did that, Over a weekend in August of 1971, you will then kind of question the figure, hey, Steve, you told us about executive orders aren't actually laws.
This was done in an emergency executive order.
It's been around now for what, I don't know, 50 years?
So the questions start coming hot and heavy about what really isn't going forward.
Do we go back to the convertibility at some price of the United States dollar into gold?
The really beginning of the fiat currency was then, and everything that's happened economically to the middle class and working class since that time, since August 1971, has not been good.
Right now, this talk about inflation and the phony discussion of inflation, you hear everybody saying, well, you know, inflation's not, Biden's done it, it's been such a great thing.
But you look how it's looked at, where they take out rent and food and they just look at, like, televisions and computers.
You realize it's a phony analysis.
What you really should be looking at is purchasing power.
There's an article this weekend, and I put it up on Getter.
If we can pull it out, I want to make sure Grace and Mo push it out to everybody.
And then you should be a force multiplier and pull it out, and push it out.
What's killing people is really the devaluation or the default, whatever you want to say, on our currency and on our bondholders.
This lack of drop in purchasing power I think is 19 or 20 percent right now since the Biden regime took over.
That's why people in their lived experience of their lives sitting there going, hey, I don't know about you guys, but inflation to me is like 30 or 40 percent.
If you don't think you're being crushed, this credit card debt, because remember, credit card debt is an unsecured loan.
It's unsecured loan to you by a bank or a credit card company.
And quite frankly, it's exploded out of control because during the good times when interest rates low, you know, college kids or people first start and you pick up the mail every day and you had another credit card with $5,000, you know, credit, let me just had to sign it.
Well the chickens have come home to roost on that.
I think the credit card debt's 1.2 trillion dollars and now APR is 25 to 30 percent.
That means you're just, you're just, you're falling behind every day.
You're falling behind every day.
Part of the MAGA solution that we're, that we're trying to work through is how do the working class and the middle class, how are they able to get control of their lives?
That's what this show, as a platform, we hope to be, a still point in a turning world.
This is why last week, when nobody else was talking about it, we very much focused on that Axios.
Remember, Axios is really the, it's Mike Allum and Van Der Hey, and they were the guys that worked at the Washington Post, and they created Politico.
They then sold it, I think, for a billion dollars or a couple billion dollars to the German publishing company, and then they started Axios.
Axios is kind of, Snippets of information with clips and connections, but it's way the even more than morning Joe It drives the narrative because it's the conventional wisdom of the imperial capital and so when they had their They had their love fest last Monday.
I think it was in Washington DC.
We said this is going to be important so Joe Allen we had a whole team and what we heard shocked even the war room team and
Here is a completely thought-through, completely thought-through way to change the administrative state, change the deep state, so it absolutely can use the greatest advances in technology that have all been funded by your dollars, your tax dollars, your pension funds, and tax dollars have gone to these research universities, maybe a lot of your alma maters that you love, to use that against you, to control you.
The executive order Is by far the most fascist executive order I have ever read and he's sitting there black bragging about and talking about the uk event This is something that was driven during the during the pandemic by mi5 and mi6 mi5 and mi6 one is the internal intelligence service of the British Empire.
The other is the outside, their CIA. They're working with, he says, they really know how to do this, they really know how to...
This is how a small island country controlled the largest empire in the world at one time and still controls a vast swath of the financial and business community throughout the world.
And so in reading that executive order chilled us to the bones because they set in the right up front.
We're going to incorporate artificial intelligence every this is Schmidt's comment every aspect of government every aspect and it's not an endpoint is just the beginning.
And President Trump, I think, has had enough.
I think that's why that speech in Iowa at Cedar Rapids will be referred to and will go down in the history of Trump and the Trump movement.
He basically had a belly full and said, OK, Biden, you can't run on anything else.
If you compare the two track records of the men as presidents, one legitimate, one illegitimate.
But if you compare the peace and prosperity of the Trump years to the absolute failure in every aspect of Biden, they know they can't run on that.
And the conventional wisdom is telling that they're trying to push out, they're trying to push out Biden right now with the help of the Murdochs, the help of the Murdochs to push up Newsom as an alternative.
They will do everything.
And that's why we're in the cold open.
What did we end with?
We ended with Fox News finally having to cover one of the Trump speeches, which they hate to do.
They hate it.
But finally covering President Trump's speeches because there's nothing else to cover in Iowa.
What, it's the sanctimonious running around in a living room with six people?
You know, Nikki Haley, who doesn't even have a ground game there, because they want to downplay Iowa because they know she's going to get slaughtered there.
They actually, when President Trump's sitting there, they cut away and they say, well, look at the announcement.
Well, falsehoods like the lies about the 2020 election.
No, Murdoch's.
You helped rig the 2020 election by what you did by calling Arizona early, and we know you didn't win Arizona.
They didn't win Arizona.
You started the domino effect.
It's one of the reasons it gave them the permission to shut down the voting, because Fox had already called Arizona.
No, the Murdochs are in on it, up to their neck, and this is what you get when you have foreigners running a major TV network.
Do foreigners run major TV networks in the United Kingdom?
Do foreigners run major TV networks in Australia?
No, they do not.
And the reason is, they don't want it.
They want their citizens running that.
Okay, we're gonna take a short commercial break.
We got a lot to get through.
Historic.
In this audience, in your efforts, in your phone calls, President Trump has deemed his first act is to rip up and rescind the executive order that puts artificial intelligence not just to control the narrative, but to control your life.
President Trump said, no, I've had a belly full of this.
Biden is the destroyer of democracy in this country, and it will not happen while President Trump draws a breath.
Donald J. Trump on a roll.
Peace and prosperity.
Short commercial break.
Back in the warm in a moment.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Vance.
steve bannon
Okay, you are clearly changing the direction of the country.
This speech on Saturday is to cut off Biden from what they think is the one thing they still got going, which is say President Trump's a fascist, President Trump's this.
We'll do an up or down vote on that.
We're going to lay out the facts of what Biden and the illegitimate Biden regime.
Why are they illegitimate?
Because they didn't win the 2020 election.
Suck on that, Murdoch's.
You're the worst people in the world.
You want to know why the country's so screwed up?
Because they gamed the controlled opposition for decade after decade after decade.
Liz Cheney!
Liz Cheney!
You can't... These people... Liz Cheney came out, her second excerpt from the book, I've got it up on Getter, she says her dad, her dad told her right before January 6th, Darling, protect the Republic.
This is a war criminal.
This is a war criminal who did more to destroy this country by lying about Iraq that he knew more than the airhead Bush that there were no weapons of mass destruction and look the American people in the eye and lied.
All those combat deaths, all the PTSD, all the casualties, the $7 trillion as analyzed by Brown University's group that focused on that, all of it on his shoulders and the doofus that he put in office.
Oh, protect the Republic.
Trump haters from way back.
Darling, protect the Republic.
Well, look, lady, we're getting into the J6 stuff.
That's one of the things we're going to talk about.
Matt Rosendale is going to join us.
We're going to get into the J6 stuff, and we're going to see how much you and folks in Congress protected the Republic and why your committee, the cover-up committee, why you didn't grill Ray, why he was never interviewed, all of it.
It stinks to high heaven.
And you're going to get your day.
You're going to get your, as we say in the Navy, your turn in the barrel.
Ma'am.
Protect the Republic, dear.
That's good, from a guy that's gone out of his way to destroy it in the 21st century.
Why am I jacked up today?
I had Warpath coffee.
You want to get jacked up?
Get your Warpath, warpath.coffee slash war room.
Best dark roast ever made.
Get a big old pot of it first thing in the morning.
Get all jacked up, ready to come on the war room and get you folks some information that you used throughout the day.
So when you're talking to Philip Patrick and the team over at Birchgold, go to birchgold.com slash band.
And when you're talking to Philip Patrick, get a cup of coffee, cut the phones off, cut the show off, cut all of it off the TV, all of it.
Sit there and think.
That's the best thing you got is your brain, your brain, your heart and your soul and your spirit.
With that, we're going to save this republic.
Congressman Rosendale, gold is at an all-time high, or at least it was when we started the show.
I think there may be some profit-taking, as we say.
But it's an all-time high, close to it.
response to the out-of-control, feckless leadership of the Uniparty and our oligarch leaders on Wall Street and Silicon Valley, because we're still having deficits of $2 trillion that the Chinese Communist Party won't buy our bonds anymore.
The Japanese have got enough of them, so we just got to print cash.
You're one of the hawks of the hawks up there of cutting this.
I'm not feeling it right now.
I see that we're talking about impeachments, but it feels like a shiny toy.
I see we're talking about January 6th, but it's not enough effort.
I really don't see that anything's happening.
And not just that, I don't see people are putting in the time and hours.
Out in Montana, particularly your district, folks out there know how to put in a work day.
Those are 16 to 18 hour days, six days a week, and they take Sunday off because of the Sabbath.
But people are grinding out there.
I don't get the feeling they're grinding on Capitol Hill.
I'm not feeling it.
So make me feel better.
Are we going to have massive cuts to this budget right now?
We'll take our stand here and fight and make sure we save this Republic, sir?
matt rosendale
Stephen?
We need Warpath Coffee distributed around the nation.
We certainly need a lot of it distributed around the United States House of Representatives.
We have brought hundreds, literally hundreds of amendments to the appropriation bills, me and the small group of people that you continue to bring onto your program to reduce this spending, and 86% of those amendments have been killed By Republicans.
Republicans have the majority.
And the shame of it is, okay, the total spending is going to approach $7 trillion.
If you take supplementals and everything out of there, we're still at $6.5 trillion.
The discretionary spending, the part that Congress actually works with on an annual basis, is about $1.6 trillion.
$1.6 trillion. If we eliminated 100% of that, we would still be spending about $500 billion a year more than what we are collecting.
And these people can't get it in their minds that we need to reduce spending.
So when we bring amendments forward to reduce $10 million here or $1 or $2 billion over there, It's not just an act of trying to change the trajectory, but it's where those dollars are going, Steve.
Those dollars are going to pay agencies to attack the American people.
It is absolutely insane that we can't get the Republican Party, the very people that go across the nation, and they campaign on a daily basis on reducing the size and scope of government, reducing the spending, and when they have an opportunity to do so, they're very, very Well, we can't cut there and we can't cut there.
I can tell you, I have meetings on a daily basis with different organizations across the nation.
And when they come into my office, my staff will tell you.
We start the conversation off with, I can't give you any money.
We have major spending problems and at this rate, Our national debt is going to escalate from the $33 trillion that we owe right now to $50 trillion in five short years.
steve bannon
Hang on.
I don't need five years.
I don't need 50.
It's not $33 trillion.
It was $33 trillion on September 18th.
It is now at $33,900,000,000.
I looked this morning, I think $8,800,000,000, $9,900,000,000.
It's going to cross $34,000,000,000 before 18 December.
That means within 90 days we added $1,000,000,000 to the face amount.
at 900 billion. It's going to cross 34 trillion before 18 December. That means within 90 days we added 1 trillion dollars to the face amount that will never pay one penny off. Our kids and grandkids will be working away to pay What do these folks not understand about that?
We've added a trillion dollars in 90 days, so all the talk about, you know, in 2030 and 2035, the reason that we have 1.2 trillion in credit card debt at 30% APR is because of this deficit.
This has caused all the problems, and now it's crowding out capital.
People are going to start getting crushed on this.
They're already started.
Automobile loans, mortgages, second mortgages, all of it.
What don't these country lawyers up there in the House on the Republican side, what did they understand about just basic mathematics?
matt rosendale
They don't get it.
I can't tell whether they don't believe that it's going to cause us the financial collapse that we all have been talking about.
Or they don't care because it just makes them uncomfortable in this given moment in time, Steve.
I cannot comprehend it.
Because I look at this and see that between the national debt and our southern border, there's a lot of really bad issues.
But those two issues are what is going to destroy our nation.
And so every single conversation that I enter into tries to address it.
steve bannon
You have one of the largest congressional districts in the world, and you have a congressional district that has what I call the salt of the earth.
If you can make it up there in that part of Montana, you have the original spirit of the pioneers that built this country.
Those folks, when you're in Montana, What did they say about their economic life?
It's not some time in the future.
The working class is being crushed by this right now, and the middle class is starting to get crushed, and under 30 you're screwed.
Do your folks in your district understand that in their lived experience?
matt rosendale
They do, and you know something?
Here's the interesting part.
They are self-sufficient enough, most of my constituents, That they're going to survive this whole mess a lot better than the folks that are in Chuck Schumer's district, I can guarantee you that.
They're going to survive it a whole lot better than the folks down in Kevin McCarthy's district, I can assure you of that.
Than Mitch McConnell's district.
My folks know how to survive.
unidentified
Okay.
matt rosendale
But when you see, as you stated earlier, the value of gold at an all-time high, we've seen the downgrade of the dollar, our credit rating, twice over the last 12 months.
These things aren't just market conditions that affect the investors in Wall Street.
That is absolutely going to affect how people survive in our country.
What happens to the grocery bill, the gasoline, what happens to the school system?
It's going to impact every aspect of their lives, and my people are going to survive it a whole lot better than a lot of these other folks.
So when I go in there and fight, it's truly for everybody.
steve bannon
The American Redoubt.
We'll get into that later in the week on a breakdown of Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, these places that are central to the future of this nation, the direction of this nation.
Let me play something.
We had Congressman Burleson on the other day.
Let me just play a short clip from him.
I want you to respond.
eric burlison
What I would want to say is that if the Speaker is not going to come forward and say no to the Senate and do another continuing resolution, if he's going to allow for all these clean FISA renewals and all these other things, we are going to say no for him.
unidentified
And what that means is it means violating the norms and voting down the rules.
But if that's what it takes, that's what we're going to do.
If it means taking a trip to the border and denying them the majority, then that's what we're going to do.
At the end of the day, we're here to save America.
steve bannon
Hold it, so let me get this right.
You're going to vote down the rule or are you actually going to vote?
This is amazing.
Burleson's saying, hey, he's going to do guerrilla warfare with others if the Speaker doesn't get his mind right.
I know you've been a big supporter of the Speaker.
You're also one of the leading deficit hawks up there.
What say you, sir?
matt rosendale
I told Speaker Johnson to his face on Thursday and then again on Friday, I reiterated it, that we will use every tool that is available to us in order to preserve this republic.
And I intend to do so.
And that we are not going to go along with business as usual.
We laid out our expectations.
We fought very hard back in January to have single subject legislation.
We're not going to go along with this Christmas tree approach to try and take FISA and attach it to the NDAA and to force something through.
FISA, I mean, I could spend an entire program with you on that very piece of legislation, Steve.
There are so many flaws and problems, and when I hear the intelligence community trying to tell leadership about how necessary this is, they want to spy on everybody.
You talked about AI and the executive order earlier.
They want to spy on every single American across this nation, and that would absolutely leave our founders aghast to think of the information that is utilized and gathered about American citizens right now at this point in time.
And so we have to keep all these things separate.
We have to rein in that spending.
And I, as proven by my votes in the past, will use every tool that is available through the legislative process to make sure that we don't allow the American people to get screwed again.
steve bannon
Last thing before we leave, we've got to bounce.
Are you for not going home for Christmas and staying up there as much as you want to get back to Montana and the great folks there, but stay there, work all the way through January 19th to get this thing sorted?
matt rosendale
I have said many times over, and I'll say it again, I will stay here as long as necessary to make sure that we put the reforms in place to protect the American people, to make the cuts that are necessary to the spending, to protect the American people.
I will stay and work.
I've been here till 2, 3 o'clock in the morning proposing amendments on the House floor to reduce this spending.
I will do whatever is necessary.
steve bannon
Congressman, how do people get to you?
Social media and your website?
Where do they go to find out more about Matt Rosendale?
matt rosendale
At RepRosendale.
I keep it real simple.
I'm here so I can only talk about the official site at RepRosendale.
That is where you can find us for all the platforms.
steve bannon
Congressman, honored to have you on here.
Fight on, sir.
We got your back.
matt rosendale
God bless you.
I'm sure we'll talk before then, so Merry Christmas anyway, Beth.
steve bannon
Yes, sir.
Merry Christmas.
Great.
The folks in Montana, you got a real fighter there in Rosendale.
Short break.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bass.
steve bannon
You know, Congressman Rosendale just made a good point.
Maybe we should get Warpath all the way delivered up there so you can get these folks jacked up.
We need urgency.
We need action.
We need work.
We need hours.
I'm a big believer.
You know, they did an interview.
We'll get it up over the next couple of days.
I think it was Esquire.
I did an interview, and they talked about when I had my own firm, and one of the questions I used to ask people when we were, because we had a certain house style, just like we have here at War Room, and the people who work at War Room, particularly the folks in Denver, and Rob Sig, I'm a big believer in gym rats, and people that, you know, the young guys that were sweeping the gym at nine in the morning, you know, from the movie Hoosiers, and play basketball all day, and then close up, and lock up, and clean up.
I've always been a huge believer, particularly for young people, when you're in a craft or a guild and you're learning your trade, learning your profession, just, you know, stick to it.
Being around, hanging around means a lot.
I don't like people to watch the clock, never have, wasn't raised like that.
I used to have a question, the second or third question I'd ask you when we were interviewing people, I'd say, tell me about your personal life.
And if that answer went more than 60 seconds, the cone of silence came down and it was like, next, let's get this thing done.
I'm not interested in your personal life.
I'm just not.
That's for you and God bless you.
But in the 12 o'clock high mentality, it's about the mission, it's about the objective.
You have a duty, you've signed up for something, you committed to something.
What I want to hear is your commitment to see it through, your commitment to the objective.
Our task and purpose, our objective, is quite simple.
To save this republic.
The New Jerusalem, Tim, Alberta.
That we do have a special covenant about this country.
What it's represented, what it means.
And we will fight to the bitter end to restore this.
And that's why we're winning, and that's why we're ascended.
And that's what they hate.
They're going to use every part of technology, every part of capital, everything.
To depress you, to get you looking at misdirection plays, chasing shiny toys.
We need work and we need work up on Capitol Hill now.
They should cancel the Christmas holiday.
They should work every day except for Christmas morning and then have a religious service.
You know, maybe have Hanukkah the night before and, uh, Christmas morning, have a religious service, uh, at the Capitol and televise it nationwide.
It'd be very inspirational.
And then go back to work to solve these multiple crises.
The nation thing.
That's what's it.
You can't, it's not business by usual.
The problem I got with Johnson is kind of business as usual.
It's not good enough.
You're a good man.
You have a biblical worldview.
Wake up to that worldview.
Read Revelations, particularly the chapters that talk about come and see.
Just read that.
Peter Navarro, help me out here, brother.
Haven't had you on in a while.
Tell me about the financial condition, the capital market.
You saw President Trump turn his guns on Biden.
Give me your thoughts and observations.
peter navarro
Yeah, Steve, look, I would be remiss in not starting off with two observations.
The first important word That came away from Trump's speech, as I watched her cold open, was heritage.
unidentified
That is a beautiful, beautiful word.
peter navarro
And I think you could base a whole campaign on how the left is trying to take away this country's heritage.
And the other thing I want to say is that, irony alert, the highest of irony, Steve, those people are trying to put you and me, Trump and everybody in Trump world In prison and under their spying justice system, intimidate and they're accusing us, us of wanting a dictatorship?
Are you friggin kidding me?
And yes, Steve, they are destroying our economy.
Let's let's break this down.
It's like this.
These financial markets right now are so awash in money that we're seeing A rally in the stock market, which is illusory.
We're seeing all sorts of things happen in a way which totally ignores, totally ignores the plight of middle America, common Americans.
I sent you a chart over the weekend that had all the different boxes where inflation has gone up by mega double digits.
These are the realities that our country is dealing with.
The working class, yeah, they might have a job right now, but their real wages and standard of living are going down.
All these young folk, which flock to the Bernie bros and the Bidens and this, that and the other thing, they are coming to the realization that they'll never buy a home, they'll never buy a car, they'll never have the life that we had in the past.
And they're going to be just the gig economy slaves forever because of the irresponsible way.
The last thing I should say, Steve, on top of all of these financial problems that we're facing, I'm getting the strongest whiff of wag the dog here.
When I wake up in the morning and I see hooty rebels sending rockets out into the Persian Gulf and the United States military Being the policeman there!
steve bannon
Hold it!
unidentified
That worries the hell out of me!
steve bannon
That worries the hell out of me!
By the way, I patrolled the Persian Gulf in the North Arabian Sea.
As bad as that is, this is the Red Sea.
The Red Sea's tiny.
They're in a shooting gallery down there.
They're putting American assets in Iraq.
We still have bases there.
They're getting shelled every night.
Now you've got combatants.
They're looking for a Gulf of Tonkin.
Do you disagree with me?
They're looking for a Gulf of Tonkin situation here?
peter navarro
What's going to save Joe Biden?
What is going to save Joe Biden right now?
Okay.
It's going to be a wag the dog war going into November where we shift the focus away from the Israeli-Palestinian issue and make Iran the latest big evil.
You can see that coming when you see charts in the New York Times about all the attacks On U.S.
bases in Iraq, from Iran, you see ships there providing all sorts.
I mean, we don't have a strategy or a plan.
Remember, Steve, the mission, OK?
It's not about dictatorship left.
It's about three basic things.
It's about fair trade, a level playing field for the American worker.
It's about securing our borders for both economic and national security.
And last but not least, and this is the Dick Cheney rant you did, which was beautiful, because Liz is the poison of that spawn.
It's an end to endless wars.
It's not the rich class whose kids are going over and coming back in body bags or with their arms and legs missing.
It's MAGA.
It's the people of this country who are in the mainstream.
All we want is our democracy back.
Because we don't have that now.
We have a weaponized Justice Department.
We have a Congress out of control.
We have too many meek, meek Republicans there in the House of Representatives who are not using the power that God gave them in the last election.
And we are in a situation which is totally intolerable.
steve bannon
Peter, hang on one second.
We're going to take a 90-second break and come back with Navarro on the other side.
Export Selection
