| Now he gave an interview last week, we covered this very heavily on the war room, surrounding the fallout from the comments that President Zelensky had made in the run up to the NATO conference in Vilnius. | ||
| He'd said that a lack of a timetable was absurd. | ||
| He said that American legislators had said that basically the West isn't Amazon and that Zelensky should be showing more gratitude. | ||
| Well, there was an interview by Ambassador Prystaiko on Sky News in the UK. | ||
| And I have to confess, by the way, I'll make a quick aside. | ||
| I didn't see this interview. | ||
| It's been memory hold. | ||
| However, someone who did see it was President Zelensky, and he was asked, the ambassador, what he thought of Zelensky's sarcasm. | ||
| He asked if it was sarcasm when Zelensky said, should he get up every morning and personally phone the UK Defence Secretary and thank him. | ||
| Comments which had gone down, and we reported this on the War Room, comments had gone down very well. | ||
| And Chris Dyko had said, you know, that there was a hint of sarcasm. | ||
| But I don't think that kind of sarcasm is healthy, he said. | ||
| We don't have to show the Russians there is something between us. | ||
| They have to know we are working together. | ||
| If something happens, Ben Wallace, the UK defence minister, can call me and tell me everything he wants. | ||
| So here was the ambassador trying to defuse a tense situation between the UK and presumably also the Americans and Ukraine. | ||
| And Zelensky fired him. | ||
| He fired him yesterday. | ||
| He phoned him up and sacked him. | ||
| So, the first thing I want to point out, in the article that Denver very kindly just had up on the screen from The Guardian, everything is sourced, thank you so much Denver, everything is sourced in this article. | ||
| You know, you've got the Amazon comments, you've got the sarcasm comments, you have everything in there, apart from the actual Sky interview itself. | ||
| It has been completely memory hole. | ||
| This is the UK media, which is I think the UK mainstream media, worse than the American mainstream media, if it were possible, in holding the British public misinformed as to the nature of what is going on in Ukraine. | ||
