| And I would argue that there's probably a few other Republicans, right, running for president who might feel the same way, who are hoping this provides at least some kind of opening for them. | ||
| Having said that, how much is the Biden White House depending on this to provide an opening, given the fact that he's still underwater in his own poll numbers, and that the poll numbers showing him in head-to-head matchups with Donald Trump aren't exactly comforting for the Democrats? | ||
| Yeah, first briefly, one last point on the Republicans. | ||
| Asa Hutchinson has already called for Trump to drop out because of this charge. | ||
| We'll see if other Republicans, impending charge, we'll see if other Republicans follow suit. | ||
| They're not going to be able to make the claim that this makes Donald Trump unfit, because as discussed, so many Republicans still like Trump and don't mind even January 6th. | ||
| Their argument might be electability, though. | ||
| I'd watch for that to see if some Republicans I'm going to say, look, hey, we like Donald Trump. | ||
| Maybe January 6 wasn't that big of a deal, but this might hurt him next year. | ||

| As for the White House and the Biden reelection campaign, no doubt they believe this can only be helpful. | ||
| They're not going to say anything. | ||
| They will maintain their vow of silence like they did for the last Trump indictment. | ||
| But the contrast is plain as day. | ||
| And they're going to play this, you know, even implicitly. | ||
| or allow their surrogates perhaps to play up the idea that this makes Donald Trump unfit for office. | ||
| And even if they don't make the direct call to make that declaration, they believe it is simply understood. That they will contrast President Biden governing, doing the will of the people, versus Donald Trump likely facing charges for trying to upend our very democracy. | ||
| They think this certainly helps Biden heading into a re-election campaign. | ||

| His poll numbers, they're not great. | ||
| But by most measures, they're still ahead of Trump's in a head-to-head matchup. | ||
| And that they, people close to the president, the current president, believe this moment, this January 6th potential indictment will only add to that. | ||

| Look, your father's coming back in January 2025, but the country's not... I mean, we need to move now. | ||

| Listen, I love to see it. | ||
| I like seeing an emboldened House of Representatives where we have some control, where we can push back against this insanity. | ||
| You know, my only concern about an impeachment of Biden is that you end up with Kamala Harris, which, you know, if you've been watching, that could actually be worse. | ||
| But of Merrick Garland weaponizing the DOJ this way, of the FBI and Chris Wray, I mean, these institutions, Steve, are corrupted beyond repair. | ||
| There is nothing you can do to fix them within the framework that they exist, in my opinion, right now. | ||

| Again, just look at the difference in the way—even they tried treating me with Russia, Russia, Russia, which we all know is made up and nonsense. | ||

| There is no longer equal justice under the law. | ||
| There's a set of rules and laws if you're a Biden or a Democrat radical elitist, and there's a set of rules for everyone else in this country, including God-fearing, blue-collar, hard-working Democrats in America. | ||

| Is there a single American who believes that Donald Trump would be getting indicted over these things if he were not running for president again and if he were not the leading contender for president again? | ||

| They indicted them for trying to make sure that the electors were totally certified. | ||
| They're trying to send a message now even in the states. | ||
| That if you're a MAGA supporter, if you're America First, if you just believe in the rule of law in this country and fair and clean elections, you are exposing yourself to be indicted on felonies, run up millions of dollars in legal fees, and lose your job and go to prison. | ||
