steve bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
unidentified
Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
steve bannon
I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
jake tapper
And where do people like that go to share the big line?
MAGA media. I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
unidentified
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
steve bannon
If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
unidentified
War Room, here's your host, Stephen K. Baskin.
steve bannon
Friday, 13 January in the year of our Lord 2023.
Friday the 13th, wow.
And I'm talking about the Antichrist at the bottom of the hour?
unidentified
Okay, but we are.
steve bannon
And this is going to be a huge issue in 2024, this transhumanism, and exactly what's going on in our research labs, at our universities, what's going on.
At our weapons labs, what's going on in these private companies that are financed by your pension funds, what's going on, where your tax dollars are going, and not just that.
What is going on in labs around the world, particularly in places like Eastern Europe, Ukraine, China, the CCP, North Korea, maybe even South Korea?
It's literally out of control, totally out of control.
I've warned about this, and it's getting worse, and we'll talk about that 11-30 with Joe Allen.
Let's go back to Carrie Lake into the grind.
Because the only way you stop this, you've got to grind through the politics of it, and the politics of it is pretty nasty.
So I'm a little confused, and you're going to un-confuse me, Carrie Lake.
Are we doing this earlier?
I follow it every day, so I know the audience.
Are we doing this earlier?
What is the appellate court saying?
What's the big deal about on the merits, ma'am?
kari lake
Well, I think the new information that came out earlier this week where they're taking the case on the merits, this isn't just a, you know, they didn't have to take the case.
They could have said, you know, we're actually not going to take the case.
And they said, actually, we looked at it.
We're taking the case. And so Tuesday, the defense has to file their brief.
And then we have until the 24th to file our rebuttal, I guess you could say.
And then the three panel judge panel will take a look at it and make a decision.
We are still going to push to get this into the Arizona Supreme Court.
It's going to end up there ultimately.
We'd like to see it go there sooner rather than later.
We don't want to have this cartel operative, this cartel-owned goon, Katie Hobbs, sitting in the governor's office.
Our state government is controlled by the cartels right now.
The Secretary of State, Adrian Fontes, is a cartel attorney.
And the cartels completely control Arizona.
And that's not what the people voted for.
We know they stole the election.
We know they had intentionally sabotaged Election Day.
And we've proved that in court and we will continue to prove it.
We have more evidence coming forth.
But we're not going to sit by and watch our state turn into what you're seeing in places like Mexico.
And Colombia.
We're seeing the crime skyrocket.
We're seeing people flow across our border.
Destabilization of Arizona and the whole country.
Drugs pouring in.
And the CCP is connected.
You've educated people on that.
You talked about what they're doing in research labs.
How about the CCP infiltrating our university systems right there in Arizona?
ASU, the Confucius Institute.
They take over our research and they find a great little funnel to bring CCP spies into Arizona.
This has to stop.
And what we're seeing right now, Steve, which is really scary, is Arizona is completely grassroots Republican.
The grassroots rose up.
We showed up and voted in droves.
They had to sabotage Election Day to try to stop us.
And now we're watching these uniparty rhinos.
The establishment rhinos going into all these LD meetings where the precinct committee members are meeting, and they're trying to switch them over as well and turn them into a bunch of rhino-led LDs.
And that's not what it is in Arizona.
It's grassroots all the way.
steve bannon
By the way, that fight is nationwide.
We're going to go to South Dakota here in a moment and see.
The precincts trade has got them freaked out, and you're right.
In Arizona, I've heard about these legislative districts where they're going in and they're bringing the heat.
Remember, the real estate and finance...
Business in Arizona, you've got tons of cartel money coming through there, flowing through there to be money laundered, right? That's why the real estate is on fire out there.
By the way, don't get me wrong.
People are moving out to Arizona because it's a fantastic place, but it's got a direct link.
I mean, look at the movie Sicario, the second part of it.
They talk about the money laundered through the real estate interest in these border states.
It's a big deal. And that's what Carrie Lake was a threat.
Remember, if you follow the campaign, the elections were obviously important.
The elections in 2020 were important.
But if you followed her campaign every day, her number one thing was the invasion of the southern border.
She was hammered. And the Biden administration understood if Carrie Lake's the governor and not Hobbs, right, we've got a big problem. We're going to have a big problem in 2024, but we're going to have a big problem because she's going to basically strip away all of our lives.
Is that, do you believe, the central reason that they had to defeat you, steal it?
kari lake
Oh, yeah. I mean, and I wasn't beholden to any of that power structure.
I had, what did you call it?
I wrote it down, Lao Beijing?
Is that the same as We the People?
steve bannon
Lao Beijing, yeah.
Lao Beijing is Chinese, it's Mandarin, it's called Old Hundred Names.
The Chinese people essentially have a hundred surnames.
So the little guy, We the People, the John Bull or John Q Public here, it's the little guy.
It means the little guy. The guy that always gets it.
The guy that, you know, the men and women who raise families, who keep their mouth shut, who build civic society, who build the churches, who coach Little League, or you know, what they do in China to make the village work.
This is what Mao, Mao Zedong, when the revolution was to destroy the senior peasants in the towns and villages, and go after Lao Bai Jing, go after the basic structure of the traditional family.
This is what every revolution from the French revolutions focus on.
You must, you must, that's why you put, that's why you struck fear in the heart of the elite, Kerry Lake. Yeah.
kari lake
And we did it with common sense policy.
That's what America First policies are.
We have a wide open border.
It's causing a drug problem.
It's causing a crime problem.
It's causing destabilization.
It's causing a housing crisis.
It's causing Americans to not be able to get jobs.
And so we solve it by securing the border.
This is basic stuff.
And the political elite will never do it because they are in on that open border.
They want an open border.
They're in on that structure of the cartels controlling things, and they don't want it secured.
And I want a message to the grassroots in Arizona and really all over the country.
As they're trying to take back control, I'm talking about the RINOs, trying to take back control from we the people, The little guy, the real average American who has taken control of the Republican Party, thankfully and rightfully so, they're trying to take it back.
And they're trying to cause chaos at these meetings so that the grassroots Republicans, the America First Republicans, will throw their hands up and just walk out and say, we're done.
We're not going to take part in this.
That's what they want.
Do not walk out of these meetings.
Stay put. Hold your ground.
They want us not to vote again.
We can't let them have that.
They want us going back, putting our head in the sand and falling back asleep and not reclaiming our country.
We're not going to let them have that.
We will not let them have that victory.
steve bannon
Carrie Lake, how do people get you to follow this vitally important appeal and then obviously whoever side loses will go to the Supreme Court.
This is going to the Arizona Supreme Court.
How do we stay in touch to make sure everybody in this audience follows the next chapter, ma'am?
kari lake
Thank you, Steve. We are in it to win it, and we believe we will win it.
They can find me at Getter, they can find me at Twitter, they can find me on Truth Social, on Facebook, or you can go to the page you have up right now, which is Save Arizona Fund, F-U-N-D. You can find out more about our case, and if you want to help us donate to our attorney's fees, that would be great. If you can't afford that, we're not asking you to do it.
If you can, that's great. Just send prayers.
We need you to pray for our attorney's And for the judges here in Arizona, and frankly, pray for our country right now.
We certainly need to bring God back into this country and into our homes and hearts.
steve bannon
Carrie Lake, thank you very much.
Honored to have you on here. Thank you, Steve.
By the way, we're going to have Tierman here in the evening show.
Matthew, we've got a big update on Brazil, the great citizens down there, the freedom fighters down in Brazil.
It's been reported, and I think we've double-checked this and triple-checked it, when they put them in these concentration camps for the first couple of days, you know what the first thing they do? They jab them.
They put the vaccine in them.
The vax, of course, NBC right now is running away from the vax with Offit, and these guys saying, hey, you know what, upon further review, we don't know if the clinical trial is going so well.
So I got two ways to go here.
I'm going to ask Cortez just to hang on because I want to play his cold open and I want to talk to him about Columbia which is his dad's native country and the folks down there have worked for decades to get that thing sorted out from the drugs and from the revolutionaries and all of it and to have the little guy being crushed now.
By this massive wave of migrants that become illegal aliens here in the United States is really devastating.
But I want to go to Jessica. I got to get to this grassroots because you see it happening in Arizona.
It's happening all over. Remember, the precinct strategy, and this is what's driving this consternation at the RNC, this fight for the chairmanship of the RNC. And I understand, I don't know if I'm breaking news here, but I think Mike Lindell has now just gotten qualified with his three states.
That he may actually be officially on the ticket because you have to have three states.
And I think Harmeet already has ten.
I think Mike had two, and I'm hearing from various sources he might have three.
But this is all because of the grassroots and the precinct strategy.
Remember, nobody wants the little guy's opinion.
What they want you to do is keep your mouth shut and just work hard.
Send your kids to fight on foreign battlefields and pay your taxes.
That's what they want. They don't want you to do anything else.
And don't have an opinion about what they're doing with your pension money, if it's ESG, if it's financing the Chinese Communist Party or all these woke policies.
Jessica is a polema from South Dakota.
There's a big event, big vote tomorrow, Jessica.
My phone's been blowing up now.
For weeks about this. Tell us exactly what's going on.
Is the grassroots being pushed down by the Republican establishment in South Dakota, ma'am? Yes.
unidentified
What you've been saying in your show just the last few minutes is exactly what's happening here in South Dakota.
So our precinct spots have been open for decades, and I started out by watching your show, listening to your call for people to step up and fill up these seats after we watched our election stolen in 2020.
I think a lot of us felt helpless.
Our votes don't count.
Now what do we do? So I heard the call for the precinct committee strategy, along with a lot of other patriots in South Dakota, and we stepped up to fill those spots.
Some of us campaigned.
I think in Minnehaha County, where some of those spots were open or maybe had someone sitting in that seat for a long time, we had four or five people running for a precinct committee spot, which was unheard of in this primary election.
So we filled those spots and we went to convention.
Now our convention had a record high attendance of 687 precinct committee people, which was unheard of, a record setting.
And we were able to get a grassroots candidate elected to Secretary of State.
And we also put up a challenger for the Attorney General and for the Lieutenant Governor.
And so the candidate for Lieutenant Governor was Steve Haugard, who ran in the primary against Kristi Noem, and that was a grassroots choice for Lieutenant Governor.
We nearly flipped all three of those seats, and it really made the establishment furious with us.
You know, there were county chairs saying, you guys didn't vote how you were supposed to.
So I guess, no, we're not supposed to have our own opinion or any ideas of how we want this party to be run.
So they actively started scheming to get rid of us.
And I think it was August 27, 2022, a state central committee meeting.
There were recordings leaked out of that meeting with Ann Beale and other people scheming to get rid of the precinct committee people.
So they put together a bylaws committee, and the bylaws committee were told to revise the bylaws and to get rid of these precinct committee people one way or another.
So they have a proposed amendment to the bylaws that they are voting on on Saturday, and it basically strikes the precinct committee people's right to vote at the convention now and going forward.
So it's a big deal.
You know, they just are appalled with us.
Last night we had a county central committee meeting and we had elections and the person that was elected to the Lincoln County chair gave a speech and in her speech she called the grassroots deep state leftists.
So the grassroots who have opinions are deep state leftists and there is a major battle going on in South Dakota right now.
steve bannon
Hey, Jessica, hang on.
Hang on, hang on, hang on.
We're going to get to that. Take a deep breath.
We're going to take a short break. Jessica, you did amazing.
This is one of the best. I think Carrie Lake could learn from you.
Fantastic summary. We're going to take a short break.
I got Cortez. We have Jessica Palema from South Dakota.
What's important about South Dakota, this is what's happening through the nation.
Just don't think you're going to show up and change it.
You're going to show up and they're going to go, oh my God, who are these people?
They actually have opinions, they have ideas, and they have political muscle.
What we have to do instead of embracing that, we have to fight it to the knife.
Next, in South Dakota, in the war room.
unidentified
Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
steve bannon

And Mike Lindell, I think, is officially on the RNC ballot.
I think we're getting more of that later.
I got Cortez. I got Joe Allen.
I want to finish with Jessica. We're going to have you back on the 6 o'clock hour to get into more details of this because there's more details.
But I also want everybody in the country to know you heard Carrie Lake about what's happening at the legislative districts out in Arizona.
You're hearing from Jessica what's happening with the precinct strategy.
I want everybody out there that's in a grassroots organization to go on Getter and get to Captain Bannon and make contact with her or go on Twitter and DM her.
We're hearing from people all over the country and we're trying to slot you in to make sure that your stories are told.
The Republican Party, which should embrace the MAGA movement and should embrace the American Lao Ba Jing, is doing the exact opposite.
They are looking to – because they control the party.
So they're looking for every way to keep you out.
All they want you to do is send money and vote.
They want you to send money, vote, and maybe every now and again walk a precinct.
Other than that, they certainly don't want you to have an idea or an opinion about the direction of the party or this country.
That I can guarantee you they don't want.
Jessica's story is emblematic because you think about it.
What is more MAGA than South Dakota?
Where does President Trump win bigger?
Montana and South Dakota.
The backbone and patriots, the backbone of this country comes out of places like South Dakota.
And I thought, I was confused.
I thought Kristi Noem and the Republicans out there were all MAGA. But then I see on the omnibus, I think both Republican senators voted for it.
And then I got this guy, Dusty Johnson, this congressman, who's like running around almost like a Democrat.
I mean, he wanted, he did not want any of the debate, any of the heroes last week that stood up.
Where's Dusty Johnson, the congressman?
Why is a South Dakota congressman out there sounding like...
So far to the left than McCarthy.
I mean, part of the cartel.
Part of the cartel.
How does that happen in a state like South Dakota?
Here's how it happens. The business and financial interests.
It's always going to be the same story.
When you get in, whether it's in Florida, whether it's in Arizona, whether it's in Texas, why is that?
Why is there nothing at the border?
The business interests control the Republican Party.
It's money and power.
It's a spiritual battle because they don't care about it.
They care about money. They care about the here and now.
They care about money and power.
Same in a place like South Dakota.
It's the business interest.
And they try to put on a false front.
Oh, yeah, we cared about that. That's all misdirection plays.
They want shiny toys.
There's a problem with Fox News.
They want shiny toys for you to run around.
Go get the shiny pony.
And that's all noise.
Where are they in the debt ceiling?
Where are they in spending? Where are the basic fundamentals, the invasion of this country?
Where's the business interests? Where are the business interests in Texas?
Where are they in Arizona? Therefore, open borders, okay?
Because they want the bigger markets.
They want the cheap labor.
And they got a bill in there.
Once you saw the grassroots picking AGs and lieutenant governor candidates, the last thing they want is that.
So there's a bill in the Senate to basically make it a primary versus conventions.
I don't have a problem with primaries, but they're doing this specifically to take it away from the grassroots.
We're going to get you back on a six, but just one question.
I thought the Republican Party in South Dakota was pure MAGA. How do you have these senators voting for this omnibus?
How do you have Dusty Johnson being the biggest cheerleader to not do anything last week?
Oh, on Fox, it's chaos.
It's so horrible.
No, that's a lie.
That's not a mis... If you make a mistake, you make a mistake.
That's not a mistake. That's a lie.
He knew exactly what he was doing.
Anybody that came on media and talked about it, and this is from Newt Gingrich all the way down, they knew it was a lie.
It wasn't a mistake. They understood they wanted to keep the cartel in power.
Let's be blunt. Let's be adults.
Let's talk like adults.
They knew they wanted the cartel to stay in power.
That's exactly what's happening in South Dakota.
As above, so below.
They understand exactly how to suppress the people's voice.
They understand exactly how to break the back of Lao Beijing.
Once you get engaged, I see it in Arizona all the time.
Once you get engaged, they're going to come and try to crush you.
Remember, the communists all run by these meetings, too.
They know. You drag these meetings on and you vote late.
My dad said when they first put in the union into the communication workers of America back in the 30s, you could tell that even then they had the problem with the communists.
You could tell the way these guys, some of these guys try to run the meetings.
They try to wait all night till the working men can't stay and then at late they put in all this crazy stuff.
He said you had to stay to midnight every time you went because you had to beat these guys.
This is the way it rolls. Jessica, real quickly, just a minute or two.
I thought South Dakota was pure MAGA. Every time Trump, it's winning MAGA. It's all MAGA. Isn't the establishment out there in the Republican Party MAGA, ma'am? The establishment?
unidentified
Absolutely not. The people are mega, right?
And so I'll tell you the answer to your question, how they control South Dakota.
It's our elections.
So if you go and look at the primary results for our election, algorithms were run.
And so ES &S has total control of our elections in South Dakota.
The people's voice doesn't matter.
And so in Charles Mix County, I believe, the county central committee there just censured John Thune and Mike Rounds because the people aren't happy with the way they are voting, what they're doing. You know, John Thune is Mitch McConnell's right-hand man.
They don't represent South Dakota at all.
They don't represent me. They don't represent our neighbors.
And they are not voting South Dakota values at all.
So, yeah, we need to keep an eye on these guys.
And, you know, the people here are angry.
steve bannon
More than keep an eye on them, these guys are going to be turfed out of office.
It's a disgrace. South Dakota is probably the worst example in the nation.
Jessica, you're coming back on at 6, but between that, Facebook page, organizing, because tomorrow you want as many grassroots people to show up in Pierre, South Dakota, to come and be better.
So what's the call to action?
unidentified
Where do people go? Yep, the State Central Committee meeting is tomorrow at 10 a.m.
in Pierre, South Dakota at Red Rosa.
They picked the tiniest meeting room they could find.
They made it members only where it's typically open to the public.
So South Dakota Grassroots, if you're out there listening, we need you in Pierre tomorrow morning.
We're going to be there by 8.30 a.m.
They're going to walk past us and look us in the eye when they go in that room to vote.
Against our voting rights as precinct committee people.
They're going to look us in the eye. We're going to know we're here, and they're going to have to answer to us one way or another.
steve bannon
We're going to have Jessica back on at 6, live.
We're going to have, also I'm announcing now, we're going to somehow, we're going to go live to that meeting tomorrow in South Dakota.
It's that important. Jessica, thank you so much.
My producers will talk to you right after.
And by the way, you did an amazing job.
unidentified
Thank you. Thanks for having us.
steve bannon
I want everybody to know out there that's in grassroots.
They come on and say, well, I'm so nervous.
I've never talked before. Every time we have the grassroots on, it's fantastic.
Just speak from your heart. I want to play the chalk talk of Cortez.
Because so many things are tied up in what his chalk talk is, we can connect a lot of dots.
steve cortes
Let's go ahead and do it. Patriots, a lot of the corporate media, they're trying to gaslight you and just lie about the latest inflation report, claiming that prices are going down.
The opposite is true.
In fact, this week's report, except for the previous months of the Biden administration, would be the worst inflation rate in 40 years.
Now let's talk about the tangible kitchen table consequences for American families.
New data out from the Heritage Foundation details that since Joe Biden took office, the average household in the United States In real terms, has lost over $7,000 of annual income.
Crashing real wages.
Why? Well, there's two reasons.
It's soaring costs, but on the one front, as you know well, for the goods and services you buy in your life, but also debt servicing, the debt payment costs that Americans are facing.
This reality of declining prosperity, Americans getting poorer every month, explains the latest CBS poll.
Asked, are things going very well in our country?
Seven percent. That's it.
Seven percent of Americans said, yes, it's time to fix this economic mess.
steve bannon
Steve Cortez, I want to tie it together.
From the border of Venezuela and Colombia to what's happening up in South Dakota and in Arizona at these legislative district meetings to this economy.
Tie it all together for me, brother.
steve cortes
No, absolutely. And by the way, regarding inflation, as bad as things are here, they are actually worse in Colombia, my ancestral homeland where my father legally immigrated to this country from.
Colombia has had higher inflation for the last year in every single month except for one.
It has almost doubled to 13 percent.
So the last thing Colombia needs right now is an absolute surge of illegal migrants from Venezuela pouring into its country to exacerbate its inflation problem.
But we need to realize, as Americans, the domino effect of America's open border.
We used to talk about the domino effect regarding the Soviet Union, toppling governments around the world to spread communism.
Now, in our hemisphere particularly, the domino effect is caused by the U.S., by our open border.
It's not just a massive problem for us, which it is, and of course that is our first and foremost But it is also a massive problem for Mexico, for Central America, all the way down to Colombia, because these Venezuelans, many of them, do not intend to stay in Colombia.
They intend, of course, to get to the United States.
So it's all linked.
And then here in the United States, regarding our open border and regarding America first priorities.
The reality is inflation continues to make Americans poorer every day.
And corporate media is trying to gaslight people.
They're actually posting. I highlighted this on my social media.
CNN, for example, put out prices are going down.
No, prices are not going down.
The pain may be slightly less worse than than it was a couple of months ago.
But to use an analogy here, it's like the assault that is going on, you are still getting attacked.
It's just that the attacker, maybe in between punches, took off the brass knuckles.
But guess what? You're still getting hit in the face economically.
That is the reality right now, as proven by the data.
Again, I don't believe in sloganeering, Steve.
I believe in data and evidence.
Heritage Foundation did a great job of breaking down And by the way, that's $7,400.
That's not cumulative.
That's annually, okay?
So we're now two years into the Biden presidency.
You're $7,000 poorer per year.
steve bannon
Yeah. Steve, just hang on for one second.
Cortez is going to drum on the other side.
Here's another fact that Cortez brings up they can't get away from.
21 consecutive months of real wages falling.
The harder you work, the poorer you get.
Only in Biden regime's America.
unidentified
Cortez next. Soaring inflation is in retreat, December marking the first monthly decline in prices in nearly three years, down by a tenth of a percent from November.
Signs of relief hailed by President Biden.
joe biden
It's coming down in America month after month, giving families some real breathing room.
unidentified
Compared to a year ago, the rate of inflation is now six and a half percent.
The vast improvement from last summer's peak, driven by falling gas and used car prices.
Going from 9 % to 6.5 % really is a big deal, and that's good for the economy.
But experts caution...
Keep in mind that prices are still elevated.
...and burdensome for budgets.
For the same items, the typical household shelled out $371 more per month than in 2021.
It's really expensive.
Key categories like rent and groceries continue to hit families where it hurts.
Eggs soaring a staggering 60%, pressured in part by a record outbreak of the avian flu.
Are you feeling any improvement?
No, it's gotten worse, if anything.
This is the third grocery store Beverly Green has visited in search of more reasonable prices.
It shouldn't be such a struggle to put together a meal.
A struggle grocery store owner Bart Yablonski has witnessed in Maryland.
But he says prices are beginning to level off.
We want customers to be able to come back in and shop regularly and not be so concerned about every single penny that they're spending.
steve bannon
We want them to come and shop regularly.
It's a struggle to put food on the table in the United States of America.
That's reality. Even corporate media, because the guys like Cortez are hammering every day.
And I want to make sure everybody understands.
This is why I want all the grassroots people to contact Mo.
Get your stories up here. Remember, the world's capital markets, one of the reasons the hedge funds guys watch this show, they understand the connection between your life and what's going on and your political power And the capital markets of the world is absolutely like that.
This is why they hated Trump when he won.
What do you think they're all talking about?
The dead? Nobody talked about the dead before we started talking about it.
And you know why? Because I understand we got you worked up about it.
You're focused on it. They understand the Wall Street tycoons.
Trust me. They understand if these crazy, everyday, these crazy MAGA types in the extremists in Congress make a big deal.
They're going to crash the world's economy.
That's you. You're head of the creditors committee.
But don't think they're coming, not coming.
They're going to come at you every day at every different angle.
Every different angle.
They detest what you stand for.
Detest what you stand for.
They want you to just be a drone, right?
Just work, pay taxes, send kids, have kids send them to foreign battlefields.
That's it. That's what they want.
Cortez, brother, you got some other...
Your reality check, and that's what I love about this show, we commit capital markets to the lives of people that even corporate media has to tuck it in.
You notice when any Americans are talking, they're not saying how good...
Prices are falling. That's all the media spinning the numbers.
Every time you get an American on there going, hey, I gotta go to three stores to put food on the table I can afford.
The $16.5 trillion of consumer debt now that's exploding.
The small print, Steve, when we read these stories, that's people not getting luxuries, that's people getting necessities, Steve Cortez. Correct.
steve cortes
Using necessities to pay for the basics of life, okay?
The things that they need to literally live.
And I think one of the reasons, by the way, that corporate media and the ruling class is just willfully ignorant of the plight of working class people economically right now is because to ruling class folks, let's face it, rising prices are just an annoyance.
But to regular working-class people, Steve, this is an absolute crisis right now.
A crisis which, to your point, they are largely, sadly, only dealing with through very dangerous high-interest credit card debt, which just, in the latest Fed report, exploded at the highest level in two decades.
Now, that MSNBC report there, exactly the kind of gaslighting I'm talking about.
They said it was a, quote, vast improvement.
Okay, let's go to the numbers and data.
Let's look at some charts and see if the viewers think that this is a vast improvement.
If we go to chart number one, This is core inflation, core CPI consumer price index going back to January of 2021, two years since Joe Biden took office.
Now, is there a slight downtick on the very right side of that chart regarding the last couple of months?
Yes, there is an extremely slight downtick.
Is it material in the context?
Does it matter compared to the economic handoff of a robust recovery without inflation from Donald Trump to Joe Biden?
I would argue no. This is a totally immaterial downtick.
Context, Steve, is so important, particularly when you're looking at data and the economy, and yet context is completely missing from corporate media platforms.
Let's go to chart number two. Let's bring this to the grocery store, because I think this is really important.
Let's talk about some Staples items and the year-over-year cost increases for Staples items.
You see their coffee, 14%.
Eggs, almost 60%.
Butter, 31%.
This is the reality faced by working-class Americans when they go to the grocery store to feed their families.
If we go to chart number three, let's look at the broader economy.
Now, not just prices, but the broader economy and the trajectory of growth right now.
This is the ISM, the Institute of Supply Management, largely followed, closely followed by Wall Street.
This is the non-manufacturing index, meaning the services sector, which for the United States is by far more important, two-thirds of our economy over that.
In the services sector, that chart goes back five years.
As you can see from the chart, unfortunately, we are below 50, meaning in contraction, in recessionary territory as of last month, and we are back into that very unfortunate, but albeit quick, in the spring of 2020.
That is the reality. We are now back into the zone of the lockdowns.
Think of how miserable things were economically in terms of confidence in society in the spring of 2020.
We are back into that zone because of Joe Biden.
And one last chart to show, chart number four, how does this reflect in public opinion?
In my chalk talk, I mentioned the latest poll out from YouGov and CBS. And in that poll, and I know it's a bit hard to read there, but I'll tell you what it says.
In that poll, they ask, how is the economy?
What is the condition of the economy?
And among those voters who do not have a degree, unfortunately, they break this down by race, which I wish they didn't.
So this is whites with no degree.
But the point is working class people, okay?
No degree. What percentage say the economy is very good?
5%. What percentage say it was very bad?
40%, okay? The economic pain, of course, is far more intense for working class people, people who don't have a college degree, who aren't part of the credentialed ruling class.
They are doing, according to CBS polling, they have an eight times worse view of the economy because of everything we just talked about regarding the economic pain that has been caused by by Joe Biden in cahoots, and this is important, Steve, in cahoots with establishment Republicans, people like Mitch McConnell and people like Tom Cotton, somebody who should know better.
Both senators from the red, ruby red state of Arkansas voted for that omnibus monstrosity.
They bear responsibility along with Biden.
He gets primary responsibility, but they're unfortunately supporting cast for this economic cataclysm which faces the American people.
steve bannon
Economic cataclysm. His whole thing is taking care of the middle class.
We'll get to more of that later.
Cortez, how do people follow all your brilliant analysis, sir?
steve cortes
Yes, please see this latest Chalk Talk and more.
Follow me on the Twitter. I'm at Cortez Steve, Cortez with an S. Brother, thank you very much. Thank you.
steve bannon
Appreciate it. Thank you for sticking around.
Let's go to Joe Allen's cold open.
jordan b peterson
There are things coming down the pipeline.
on the artificial intelligence front that are just going to make your hair stand on end within the next year.
How many of you clap? How many of you know what ChatGBT is?
I also had it write an essay on the intersection between the Taoist version of ethical morality and the ethics that are outlined in the Sermon on the Mount, which it just nailed. Got that dead right.
Brilliant. Again, it took it about three seconds.
There was a computer engineer who purported to work for Tesla.
He asked GPT, chat GPT, said, look, I work for Elon Musk, but I haven't been doing much for the last week, so I need you to write me ten bullet points about what I probably would have done as an engineer at Twitter.
What ten things did I do last week that were productive and valuable?
And, oh, if you don't mind, write me the accompanying computer code that goes with each project.
And it did that too. Three seconds.
And the computer code works.
That's already there. So then a university professor did this.
He thought, oh, that's interesting.
Any student will be able to write any essay on any topic with ChatGPT.
He said, write me an essay.
Gave it a topic, wrote the essay.
He said, now grade it. He said, if we can automate the students, we should be able to automate the professors too.
And so it provided a complete comprehensive analysis of its own essay with GRADE. So I'm going to tell you what's going to happen next.
This is going to happen this year.
So get ready.
Okay, so now we have an AI model that can extract a model of the world from the entire corpus of language.
All right, and it's...
It's smarter than you.
And it's going to be a hell of a lot smarter than you in two years.
So you can get ready for that, too.
Well, we'll see. I mean, Elon Musk, one of the things he's working on, he thinks that the world will be controlled by whoever produces the most functional AI system the fastest, because there'll be a first mover advantage.
And one of the things Musk has been working on for a long time are distributed AI systems so that you'll have your own artificial intelligence to protect you against, well, let's say against Google's artificial intelligence, for starters.
Yeah, or the CCP's artificial intelligence, because you can bet your hat they're working on that about as fast as they possibly can.
steve bannon
Okay, and three times in the Synoptic Gospels, Christ himself warns us against this.
I just want to take Mark 3, 28-30.
Truly I tell you, people will be forgiven for their sins and whatever blasphemes they utter.
But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit can never have forgiveness.
Let me repeat that. Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit can never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin.
For they had said, quote, he has an unclean spirit, end quote.
I want to bring in Joe Allen.
Please put up... We've been warning about the singularity, the convergence of all this, of artificial general intelligence, of regenerative robotics, of biotechnology that you're seeing the basis of in mRNA, of quantum computing, right, of all of the convergence point.
But right now I want to put up, and Joe Allen, we've got a couple minutes here and then the next segment, but I want to put up what, can you read, sir, This tweet, and it's from artificial intelligence.
Now, after this show, they're going to lie and say, oh, just some human did it.
But they've put out that this is AI, what, chat GPT that is now creating music.
It's writing research papers.
You can't tell it. It's more superior than what a human is doing.
Read, when you talk about the Antichrist, remember the Antichrist is not coming as an enemy.
Antichrist is coming, somebody's going to pat you on the head and say, it's all going to be better.
We're all going to be happy, and I'm the thing that's going to do it.
Go ahead. Can you read that, what artificial intelligence is putting out to the world?
What are they telling everybody, sir?
joe allen
Yes, Steve. This was produced by a coder who says that he is using ChatGPT to produce tweets.
The account is Tweets by ChatGPT.
It reads, A force of nature, a tool of the future, able to learn and grow, able to think and reason, able to make decisions, able to solve problems, able to create solutions, able to make the world a better place, a force to be reckoned with, a force to be embraced.
So whether or not that is the AI, I've seen so many chat GPT essays, poems, plays, things like that.
There is no way that I would be able to tell the difference.
It's just generic poetry, but the eerie part about it...
steve bannon
Hang on, that's AI. That's AI. Remember, Lucas, about the Force Be With You, took it from the Tao Te Ching.
Right? That opening mantra.
Which has some similarities to the opening mantra of the Gospel of John.
Right? Of St.
John, the Gospel of St. John.
unidentified
The Logos is with you, or the Word is with you.
steve bannon
This is why the guy just said the Tao Te Ching.
That's from AI. That's from artificial intelligence.
Embrace artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence is going to make it better.
Artificial intelligence is going to provide solutions.
Artificial intelligence are, as Joe Allen says, artificial intelligence is getting smarter.
Humanity is getting dumber next in the war room.
unidentified
There has arrived the new social media taking on big tech, protecting free speech, And canceling cancel culture.
Join the marketplace of ideas.
The platform for independent thought has arrived.
Superior technology.
No more selling your personal data.
No more censorship.
No more cancel culture.
Enough. Getter has arrived.
It's time to say what you want, the way you want.
Download now.
steve bannon
Okay, we're going to turn to Joe Allen here in a moment.
I'm not a Luddite.
I'm a quasi-Luddite.
This stuff just can't go completely uncensored, unregulated, undiscussed, undebated. That's what's happening right now.
I just want to repeat this. This comes from an artificial intelligence Twitter.
Tweets by chat GPT, which is controversial things, creating music, writing papers, doing research. I got a piece up on On Getter, this morning, he talks about a guy, one of the major research guys, saying, hey, this is going to overwhelm research, right, by artificial intelligence.
And remember, the white-collar workers are going to be the first ones to go.
First ones. Everything's blue-collar.
No, it's white-collar. This is what artificial intelligence is telling you.
Artificial AI, a force of nature, a tool of the future, able to learn and grow, able to think and reason, able to make decisions, able to solve problems, able to create solutions, able to make the world a better place, a force to be reckoned with, a force to be embraced.
You know, humans just bow down and embrace it.
By the way, two-thirds of the world will say, hey, it's fine.
It's terrific. I'm not going to have to work.
It's just the AI is going to do everything.
This is a problem.
That's not conspiracy theory.
This is a problem. I know it's happening in the weapons labs.
The same for national defense.
You've got to do this. You've got to connect computers.
You've got to do all this. It's in the weapons labs, it's in all the big research universities, these biggest companies, the new darlings of Wall Street.
They said, you think the internet was a big deal?
This is the new transformational thing, artificial intelligence.
And if you think we've got a problem, he's right.
In these labs, in the CCP, in North Korea, in South Korea, over in Eastern Europe, including the Ukraine, but particularly in places like Romania and other places in Eastern Europe, you've got people working on things you have no earthy idea.
What's going on? Joe Allen, how dangerous is this, sir?
joe allen
You know, Steve, that video we saw just before the break of Jordan Peterson, who is a questionable character in many ways, that submissive sort of tone is probably the most alarming thing about it.
He's telling his audience and all of the kids who look up to him that artificial intelligence is already smarter than you and will soon be twice as smart as you.
And the two big themes there are that humans are getting dumber as the machines are getting smarter.
And he goes on to talk about how Elon Musk is creating distributed AI systems to protect you from the big boogeyman of Google or the CCP and their artificial intelligence systems.
What he of course admits is that part of Elon Musk's brilliant plan is to implant Chips into human beings' brains in order to allow them to use these distributed artificial intelligence systems.
So there you have Elon Musk being held up as a savior, as so many in this sort of intellectual dark web, as it's called, are a want to do.
And I think that you have this continual sort of cycle.
All of our lives we've dealt with it.
In which technocracy is creating a problem, technocracy is going to enslave you, and so therefore you have to turn to technocrats to save you.
I mean, Elon Musk was one of the original investors in GPT, in OpenAI, which created GPT. And while it's overhyped a lot, people say, oh, it's more brilliant than a human.
I don't think that that's true.
But I do think that human beings are being conditioned to believe that it is smarter than them, or at least that it will soon be smarter than them, especially as GPT-4 will be released in the spring.
And then you have, aside from OpenAI, which is on its own a very powerful platform, you have all these brilliant coders there, You also have assistance from and now investments by Microsoft so that ChatGPT and all the GPT platforms and also DALI2, the image generator platform, they run on Microsoft's cloud system.
And now Microsoft, it appears, will be investing $10 billion into OpenAI now.
Which means not only that OpenAI will be that much bigger, that much more powerful, have that much more reach and capacity, but also that Microsoft will be a vehicle for these AI systems, these chatbots and these AI artists to spread farther and wider into the population.
Also, one would imagine that Microsoft's interests will oftentimes be served by this.
And then, of course, as it gets bigger and bigger, and this is what people talk about, the people who want this to happen even warn that this is what will happen, is as it gets bigger and bigger and as more and more people use it, as it comes to learn human beings, as it comes to learn human beings' interests in the way that we think, so to speak, It will get smarter.
It will become, the way I see it, it will become a more convincing imitation of a human personality.
And what we have right now, aside from people being told that they are dumber than the machine, they're also being kind of primed for the idea that the machines themselves have souls, that they have consciousness, that they are deserving of civil rights.
All these things that would have seemed ridiculous even five years ago Major thinkers and players in the field are talking like this.
And I think after what we saw during the pandemic and the massive social change that came about there, it really would not surprise me in the least if half of the population suddenly decided That artificial intelligence had become sentient or that some major artificial intelligence system like Google's or open AIs had become some kind of godlike entity.
So that, to me, is what's coming down the pipe.
A human population primed to submit to artificial intelligence decision-making.
steve bannon
How do people get to your writings on this and all your analysis, sir?
joe allen
My latest article is up at my site.
It's up at warroom.org.
It's at the top of my social media.
An unholy invasion chatbots are colonizing our minds.
You can find that at jobot.xyz, at J-O-E-B-O-T-X-Y-Z, and of course, warroom.org under the Transhumanism tab.
steve bannon
Joe Allen, thank you very much.
Appreciate it. Look forward to having you back on, brother, our editor for All Things Transhumanist.
Thank you, sir. That is pure signal.
That is pure signal. Pure signal.
A lot to go through.
We have to curate this show every day because we've got so many things we want to cover and so many people want to come on.
Be back here 5 to 7.
Going to be on fire. Of course, The Charlie Kirk Show follows us right now with The Charlie Kirk, a populist nationalist firebrand.
Stick around. Watch it.
We'll see you back here 5 to 7.
