| So, Delta Airlines, Coca-Cola, UPS, they have given the marching orders to people like Governor Kemp. | ||
| And I firmly believe that one of the reasons that he and Raffensperger and others refused to seriously investigate the massive malfeasance of the 2020 vote there Is because of the protestations from those very companies. | ||
| So, the people of Georgia, the good people of Georgia, the deplorables have to seize control. | ||
| They're not going to give it over the establishment. | ||
| We have to seize it at the ballot box, and that is going to happen tomorrow. | ||

| Absolute implosion, meltdown, target loss, 25% of its total value in one single day because the American consumer right now is so anxious and so imperiled because of Biden's inflation. | ||
| Okay, against that backdrop, what does Joe Biden do? | ||
| He flies over to Asia and on foreign soil, and this is sadly fitting, on foreign soil, he signs a $40 billion boondoggle to send money that we do not have over to a highly corrupt nation of Ukraine to escalate a conflict in which we have no U.S. | ||
| national interest and a conflict that is exacerbating an already existing Biden-Pelosi-McConnell inflation surge. | ||
| So again, connect the dots among all these stories. | ||
| Georgia, Switzerland, Asia, Ukraine, all of it is interconnected. | ||
| But I want to give encouragement to the American people, and particularly to the deplorables in Georgia. | ||

| Let me illustrate it with a couple of key stock market metrics in a Chalk Talk. | ||

| This is a better gauge than the S&P 500 or the Dow Jones Industrial Average of where Main Street is. | ||
| This is a domestic Main Street economy of middle to small size firms. | ||
| Over the last six months, it has lost a quarter of its value because of this inflation. | ||
| Conversely, let's look at Shell Oil, this Dutch and British energy behemoth. | ||
| What has it done over the last six months? | ||
| Gained 35%. | ||
| So it is martini time at the London headquarters of Shell, but it's misery on Main Street. | ||
| That's the economic reality. | ||
| By the way, all weekend, all they're talking about now is the reality. | ||
| You've got Larry Summers is out trashing these guys non-stop. | ||
| And Summers came to this much later than you did, Cortez. | ||
| So give us your update on both inflation, stagflation, recession, the overall picture of the economy. | ||
| Because Larry Summers is clearly running right now. | ||
| To replace Janet Yellen as Secretary of the Treasury. | ||
| Biden's got to get rid of this entire economic team. | ||
| Somebody's got to be the fall guy for this. | ||
| He's going to start chopping heads quickly. | ||
| And Larry Summers, who months after Ewan Navarro called this, is taking credit for actually trying to steer the Biden administration the right way. | ||
| Steve Kortes. | ||
| Well, Steve, listen, we're happy to have the former Treasury Secretary and former President of Harvard drafting off of us, essentially. | ||
| Better late than never, I guess, for Larry Summers. | ||
| Look, he doesn't tell the truth, but he tells a bit of the truth, which you don't get from really any other Democrats. | ||
| Here's the scenario. | ||
| The inflation scenario, the inflation outlook is only going to worsen, unfortunately, particularly if you look at energy markets. | ||
| And again, this was a terrible situation before the crisis of Ukraine. | ||
| And because of the insistence of Biden to escalate this regional struggle into an international event. | ||
| Because of that escalation, it is exacerbating what was an existing Biden-Pelosi-McConnell inflation quagmire. | ||
| You know, I pointed out there in that Chalk Talk, though, not everyone suffers from inflation, and a lot of the folks there in Davos are doing just fine, thank you, right now, because of inflation. | ||
| Let me give you another example. | ||
| It's not just foreigners who are doing well, of Americans who are doing well because of inflation and because of escalation, and I put this in my newest Substack article, Raytheon. | ||
| If we look at Raytheon stock, and this is true of really any defense contractor, I'm not just picking on them, Raytheon stock over the last six months is up by 5%. | ||
| Now, compare that to the retailers. | ||
| I mentioned previously the carnage in Walmart and in Target. | ||
| The retail index as a whole, as a group, traded by the ticker XRT is down 40% in the last six months. | ||
| If you look at that chart there on the bottom line, that's XRT. | ||
| That is the retailer ETF pronounced move from the upper left to the lower right of your screen. | ||
| Raytheon, in the blue there, has seen some selling. | ||
| But it is still up over the last six months, still up by 5%. | ||
| So think of that, Steve, a 45% performance chasm. | ||
| You have been absolutely wrecked in retail names, reflecting the weakness and the anxiety of the American consumer who literally cannot afford full gallons of milk anymore, buying half gallons. | ||
| We know that from the CFO of Walmart. | ||
| At the same time, the defense contractors, the defense conglomerates, They're doing wonderfully. | ||
| And they are, believe me, if not physically, they are symbolically in Davos, making sure that this conflict continues to escalate in Ukraine. | ||
| These are the priorities, the perverse priorities. | ||
| of the establishment in Washington, D.C., of Joe Biden, as well as a lot of collaborators. | ||
| There was a tweet out over the weekend that I thought was really shameful from John Cornyn of Texas. | ||
| You know, the great people of Texas, such a red and patriotic state. | ||
| It's such a shame that they're represented by people like Crenshaw and the Bushes and John Cornyn. | ||
| Cornyn put a tweet out where he retweeted national review of all publications to justify his vote. | ||
| For this escalation in Ukraine and for this absolute budget-busting boondoggle that we are sending $40 billion that we do not have to further escalate our own inflationary problem and further escalate the war in Ukraine. | ||
| You know, these are their priorities. | ||
| So sadly, Steve, my honest outlook for the administration is as bad as the economy is, and it is terrible and it is going to get worse, I'm not so sure that they care that much. | ||
| I mean, I mentioned earlier that Kemp takes his orders in Georgia from the massive Atlanta multinational corporations. | ||
| Well, this White House, Biden et al, they take their orders from the Davos folks. | ||
| And if the CEOs of companies like Royal Dutch Shell are doing well, I'm afraid that people like Biden and his surrounding aides are not that interested in what the deplorables think. | ||
| It is pretty amazing that you don't see anybody in Davos sweating any bullets about this. | ||
| You've got nothing but carnage coming up for the middle class and the working class. | ||
| But, you know, Klaus Schwab, as he starts the day, saying, hey, we've got this. | ||
| We're in charge. | ||
| We're building the future. | ||
| He's laid it out in the Great Reset. | ||

| in a good financial place. Now, news to John Harwood, who by the way is really unfortunately maybe the worst representative I could think of, of being lost in a media bubble. These media mavens who only live in this bubble world on the Acela corridor between Washington, D.C. and New York and have no idea what regular Americans are experiencing and the very serious anxiety that they're facing right now. | ||
| For him, for a highly paid establishment New York media maven to make this kind of statement and by the way defended over and over because he got a lot of flack for it online and he is doubling and tripling down on this. | ||
| I think is, again, representative of this massive chasm, of this gap between where the ruling class is and where regular Americans are. | ||

| So, let's show a chart here of consumer sentiment. | ||
| And this chart goes back a year. | ||
| This is consumer sentiment as measured by the University of Michigan, who's been doing this for decades. | ||
| This is the gold standard of consumer confidence in the United States. | ||
| As you can see from that chart, it is decidedly from the upper left to the lower right. | ||
| This is just over the last year. | ||
| For some context here, by the way, this gauge of consumer sentiment under Donald Trump hit the highest level since the early 2000s. | ||
| It hit two decade highs under Donald Trump. | ||
| We are now, as we speak today, at a one decade low on consumer sentiment. | ||
| And Steve, this is, I think, also important context. | ||
| We are significantly lower today than we were during the spring of 2020 lockdown months. | ||
| So think of that. | ||
| Think of how frightening the world was in so many ways in March and April and May of 2020, how little we knew about the virus at that point and how locked down society was. | ||
| We are now significantly more pessimistic as a society In terms of consumers than we were then. | ||
| So, John Harward, you know, memo to you. | ||
| Maybe get out of the Acela corridor. | ||
| Maybe go out and talk to regular Americans. | ||
| Maybe pay attention to this kind of data because it is telling and it is damning. | ||
| Americans know very well That they are not in a good financial place. | ||
| They know that they cannot afford the essentials of life right now, Steve. | ||
| We're not talking about luxuries. | ||
| We're talking about food and gas and rent. | ||
| This is what good places are. | ||
| The Walmart guy, the CEO said, hey, we can tell we got a big problem here because they're not buying gallons of milk, they're buying half gallons. | ||
| So John Hardwood, that's how good the children of America are doing. | ||
| They're getting cut off a half of their milk because their families can't afford it. | ||
| Two-thirds of the American people live paycheck to paycheck. | ||
| Our study out the other day, 40% of the American people are having trouble sleeping at night over, wait for it, economic anxiety. | ||
| This is the kind of elite media, this is, God, it's unbelievable, but they're the best thing that ever happened to us. | ||
| Real quickly, The Putin sanction on food. | ||
| These guys didn't plan when they got involved in this. | ||
| Instead of de-escalating immediately and thinking about second and third order impact, they haven't done it. | ||
| And now, I got to tell you, the world is hurtling towards a famine. | ||
| That's what's going to happen. | ||
| A famine. | ||

| It's a matter of famine. | ||
| It's literally a matter of death. | ||
| So, the consequences of this globalist interventionist madness are already dire, and they're likely to get catastrophic, Steve. | ||
| You know, remember the Arab Spring. | ||
| Largely emanated from a massive rise in wheat prices. | ||
| When you raise the price of staples like wheat, that sustains so much of the world, and the very basic foodstuffs that they consume on a daily basis, when you elevate those prices massively, and when you make fertilizer as expensive as precious metals, you are asking for an incredibly combustible situation. | ||
| I don't think any of us know, frankly, the eventual outcomes, but we know this, they're not going to be calm for the world. | ||
