COVID is driving a dour and exhausted national mood.
There are New York Times columnists asking what Biden's thinking, questioning this strategy of this staggering presidency, liberal Maureen Dowd, demanding more from an administration she largely supports, while liberal Jonathan Schaetz says Biden and Democrats have to rethink COVID safety trade-offs, like how ongoing school closures impact children and working families when it's not year one anymore and the pandemic sometimes feels like it has no end in sight.
Um, in terms of this reset that is being reported, do you think that the White House needs a new strategy?
Is that the problem?
Well, you know, when I hear people talk about, uh, we need a reset, we haven't gotten things done.
We're not doing a good enough job talking about what we have gotten done.
First of all, in the most, the American recovery plan, and then in the infrastructure bill.
And we've got to do a better job of talking about the kinds of programs we have passed and they're going into our communities.
There are a lot more things we need to get done and we need to figure out how we're going to get them done and stop focusing on two senators that aren't going to go along.
So how is it that we're going to get the majority of votes?
We need to get some really important programs yet done this year.
I'm tired of everybody saying we haven't gotten anything done.
We've gotten a lot done in the last year.
All right. So this is Doug Schoen and Carly Cooperman in a piece called A Year Into His Presidency Biden is Pulling at an All-Time Low. And it says this. Biden and congressional Democrats need to dedicate their focus to viable legislation that addresses voters' top issues of concern. The administration has spent too much time wrangling members of their own party without success to pass policies that ultimately alienate key voting groups like Hispanic and Latino voters. And we've seen the drift in support. Only 28 percent
of Latino voters support the president at this point. So when he talks about the need to focus on top issues of concern.
And when we poll those, it's the economy, inflation, the border, COVID.
Would you like to see this White House more focused on crime, I should point out, is also one of the top issues.
On those issues, more head-on?
Quite frankly, that's what the American people are talking about.
I don't disagree with what that article is.
I would argue that we have been doing some things, but You know, I'm pushing my leadership again today.
I've got a plant closed in my district again today for another week because the chip shortage.
We need to pass the chip legislation.
The president wants it.
The Senate's passed it, which is unusual for the Senate.
To do anything.
We need to get it done in the House.
We've got to address the supply chain.
Any Democrat that doesn't talk about inflation and it's being real is making a mistake.
It is real.
But there are things we have done and we've got to keep doing to bring that down.
If we don't talk about those issues you just talked about, we are going to lose the election.
But I think we will, Ken, and you're going to see some things pass Congress that will address them.
You know, when you look at a White House and how it's functioning, OK, let's let's jump in here.
steve bannon
That's that's Debbie Dingell is the congressman there.
Just so we can deconstruct this.
Remember, she can't connect dots.
The roaring inflation is because of the broken supply chain that Buttigieg and the White House will not address.
Also, the recovery plan Through napalm on the inflation fire.
Larry Summers says that.
Steve Ratner says these are Democrats, okay?
Also, there's two things that Debbie Dingell talked about would not have happened unless the collaborationist Republicans in the Senate had bailed Biden out.
Today, all they're going to talk about is how to federalize elections, steal elections, and steal more elections with, you know, no voter ID, all this fake mail-in ballot, all of it.
By the way, the Fort Worth paper, I've got to get this to the production staff, 53% of the mail-in ballot applications, I think in Tarrant County, article in the, I think it's the Fort Worth Star telegram, 53% rejected.
Rejected.
Under the new text, it'll reject it, all the mail-in ballots.
So they're up here today just having, I don't know, a messaging vote or some symbolism capped by Joe Biden's four o'clock press conference.
That's going to be a doozy.
We're going to be doing all kind of analysis on it at five o'clock in the five o'clock show.
We're focused on a massive sweeping realignment of American politics.
It's happening this November, but the work is happening every day right here.
And we're going to focus on the Hispanic vote.
We're going to focus on the border and reality.
And Debbie Dingell, remember, right there, the buried lead is she gave support for Doug Schoen's memo.
This memo of Schoen was brutal.
It said the Democrats are way off track and this historic crushing of Biden, the illegitimate regime of Biden, is of historic proportions.
29% of Hispanics support what Joe Biden's doing.
If you look at economics, we have Cortez on here with all the math.
I think it's 2% of Hispanics think he's doing a great job in the economy.
Okay, we've got a lot to get through today, a lot more analysis here, but I want to bring in Ken Cuccinelli, former Deputy Director of Department of Homeland Security under President Trump, also a former Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia, and now a fellow senior fellow over at the Center for Renewing America.
That's Russ Vogt, Ken Cuccinelli.
These are Trump hammers.
Okay.
These are guys that understand the Trump movement and the policy.
Ken Cuccinelli.
Ken, first off, before I get you into what you're here today, because it's brilliant what we're going to talk about and what you guys, policy-wise, are putting forward.
Just your assessment, you heard Debbie Dingell, you know, you're a guy that came very close to being governor of Virginia, of the Commonwealth.
Walk us through where the Democrats are today in the eve of the first year of the Biden administration, sir.
unidentified
So it is real interesting and you sort of implicitly touched on it.
The two things Debbie Dingell pointed to as their accomplishments, Americans today understand are helping drive inflation, which is at the worst level it's been in in years.
And you and I know the government even cooks those numbers.
When you take out things like energy and food, you don't get real life.
How does this matter in my life?
Is this really measuring the inflation going on?
It's much worse than the numbers.
And the two things she points to as accomplishments are contributing to the driving of that inflation.
And one of the things that has impressed me so much about the American people, and they impress me a lot, is the connection.
Ordinary Americans get the connection today between government spending and driving inflation.
They know they're just printing dollars to do it.
And to say Democrats aren't addressing ordinary Americans' concerns is a diplomatic understatement, which is driven home as they continually circle back to trying to steal the elections at the federal level that they're going to continue on today.
It's so disconnected from American reality, even with respect to elections.
It's amazing.
I'm convinced.
All of this will slow down in February when Chuck Schumer gets past his primary registration date and AOC doesn't register to run against him for the U.S.
Senate in New York in 2022.
I am convinced that that is what this is all about.
It's about Chuck Schumer fending off his fear of an AOC primary challenge.
steve bannon
Wow.
That's, that's Barry Lee stuff right there.
Brilliant.
Look, you're a practical politician.
You've been Attorney General of the Commonwealth.
Just as a practical, let's, let's take our partisan hats off, be dispassionate.
The math as you've seen it on these approval numbers, right track, wrong track.
We had the Chuck Todd piece yesterday that showed they're getting slack.
As a practical politician, when you look at the numbers of Joe Biden and the Democrats, what's your assessment?
unidentified
Well, Well, you know, we'll see again, like 93 and 09.
Virginia doesn't make America go in a direction, but it's sort of the canary in their coal mine.
And a red train is coming in November.
The question isn't whether they'll take the House.
They will take the House.
There is a question with the map, whether the Republicans can take the Senate or not.
And of course, you've got to have good enough candidates to do it.
But the momentum is one way.
And the momentum is one way because Americans understand fundamentally when things work and when things don't work, again, to take the partisanship out of it.
And at the end of 2019, we, just before COVID rolled around, we achieved the lowest poverty rate in recorded history.
Poverty rate.
Poor people.
We're doing great under the policies that President Trump moved forward.
And of course, he was always very, really brought about.
We spent more time under 8% black unemployment in the Trump presidency than the rest of your and my life combined.
And that's real achievement for all the folks that, you know, the leftists like to paint him as, and all of us.
As hating, and it's quite the opposite, really.
But that's a function of what works and what doesn't work.
And we're living through what doesn't work.
steve bannon
This is why we have you on today, because we make the argument we've won more elections we've lost since 1968 and lost the country.
It's also about people and policy.
And that's why what you and Russ are doing, the Center for Renewal in America, and I want to get to the policy part.
That's why we say we have an opportunity, unique opportunity, to shatter the Democratic Party in November.
So shatter it and really destroy it in its current thing.
Let AOC and the progressives go be the new Green Party, but shatter the Democratic Party and demoralize their donors.
OK, and 100 seats, 100 years.
The way we're going to get there is policies.
The way we're going to get there is 50 percent.
Remember our benchmarks, 50 percent of the Hispanic vote overall and 50 percent Of the African-American male vote, okay?
And that's going to come through policies.
Ken Cuccinelli, you guys are coming up with cutting-edge, innovative, MAGA policies at the Center for Renewing America.
Walk us through this whole situation with the invasion on the southern border, which is one of the reasons Cortez is going to be on here to analyze the economics of immigration.
We've got Ben Burquam down at the border.
The whole first part of the show is about this.
Later in the show, by the way, we've got Steve Stern coming in from South Florida.
with Michelle Terras who's leading the Jexit movement, that is Jewish Americans who are leaving the Democratic Party. So we're going to get to all of this, building a coalition for 100 seats for 100 years. Ken, walk us through what you're talking about, the border, and what the states can do so we just stop whining about the Biden administration, sir.
unidentified
Right. So let's leave aside the incredibly bad numbers at the border for the moment, unless it's accept them as a reality that we have to contend with. And as you just hit it, Steve, are we going to keep whining about this White House?
Or are we going to do something And if for those border states who are willing to do something about it, and the willingness is the big question, here is the solution.
And we've put it out at Center for Renewing America.
And not surprisingly to you, knowing Russ and I for a long time and to others, this comes from the Constitution, not statutes.
It's delivered to you courtesy of James Madison and the Founding Fathers who wrote the Constitution.
So here it is.
The federal government has agreed upon its creation, created by the states, to guarantee three things in the states.
You will find this in Article 4, Section 4.
The Guarantee Clause guarantees a Republican form of government, protection against domestic violence, insurrection within the states, and the third guarantee Every state is against invasion.
Every state is guaranteed by the federal government against invasion.
Well, they are failing that federal obligation on the southern border.
Alright, so what do you do?
So they're failing that obligation.
That's part one.
Unlike the Republican form of government, and unlike the protection against domestic violence within states, There is another constitutional provision that directly speaks to how to handle invasion.
It's in Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3.
Literally the very end of Article 1 of the Constitution.
People will remember this from their civics classes being called the Compacts Clause.
That's where you find it.
And it's a list of things that states, stay with me here, cannot do without Congressional permission.
One of them is, cannot wage war.
But there is an exception.
Unless actually invaded.
Unless actually invaded.
Setting the other 46 states aside, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California are clearly being invaded across our southern border.
And if you look at how the founders wrote it, they didn't talk about just nation states.
They didn't talk about just Britain and Spain, in this case Mexico, Bringing their armies over the border, but lawless bands, pirates, Indians.
This was open-ended as it relates to what the invasion could be.
And of course we have drug cartels, human smugglers, criminals, and ordinary illegal border crossers coming over that border.
And all of those different subgroups negatively affect all our states, but especially the border states.
And so when this happens, under Article 1, if the state Commander-in-Chief, the Governor, say Greg Abbott of Texas, Doug Ducey of Arizona, are the obvious places to look, may use these war powers to stop the invasion, to repel the invasion.
And to be clear, no one's talking about bombing bridges in Mexico.
steve bannon
Hang on one second.
We'll hold you through the break.
Ken Cuccinelli, Center for Renewing America.
a stunning policy prescription next in the war room.
unidentified
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room Pandemic.
Here's your host Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon

But these are massively discounted.
So go to MyPillow.com, promo code WORM.
Action, action, action.
Let's go back to Ken Cuccinelli.
So, Ken, look, and I tell people, you know, vote was OMB, Ken was over at DHS.
When those guys walk in, you know, they're quoting the Constitution about, hey, here's what you can do, here's what the founders laid out, here's what the OLC, here's what they're going to back you up with an opinion from the Justice Department that's going to win at the Supreme Court travel ban, folks.
And Cuccinelli knows the Constitution backwards and forwards.
So it's all constitutional.
He's going to lay it out.
That's where this thing is.
So people say it's so radical.
It's actually ties back to what our framers thought was appropriate.
How did what what a great because we're going to go to the board.
We're going to go down to Texas here in a second, Ken, with the great Ben Burquam, our investigative reporter from Real America's Voice, been down there.
Well, Abbott and particularly Ducey, these are not exactly fire breathers when it comes to this border situation that's been festering for a long time, right?
It's only that under President Trump, your guys' policies, Trump's policies stopped it for a couple of years and allowed us to at least catch our breath and figure out what's going on.
The invasion's going on and for political reasons, Ducey and Abbott are taken seriously.
But what will you recommend?
You and Vought over there at your center, what actions do you recommend these guys take?
unidentified
So here's what it looks like.
And let's be real clear.
I want everybody to understand this is not immigration law.
This is using constitutional self-defense powers of state.
So what does it look like?
A year ago today, I was deputy secretary at DHS and we were returning over 85% of illegal border crossers in under two hours.
And states should duplicate what we were doing at that time.
And what they should do is the following.
You stop illegal border crossers on their tracks, physically if you have to.
You thumbprint them, take their picture, and there's a handheld technology.
Many of the border sheriffs already have this stuff.
You sort of bag them and tag them, and literally take them straight back to the border.
Give them a bag of water and food, and push them back across the border.
Don't go to a facility, which keeps your costs down.
No holding them overnight.
Nothing of that nature.
Nothing that increases your logistical burden.
Take them straight back over the border the way they came.
And that's it.
Again, we did this for 85% of illegal border crossers in under two hours.
It uses manpower and it requires political willingness.
To lay hands on people to do it, and that's as simple as it needs to be.
steve bannon
Okay, okay.
Hold on, hold on.
I'm going to put a pin in that.
Because this is the most humanitarian policy, and here's why.
It breaks the back of the business model of the cartels.
Remember, when you open this border, it's not humanitarian.
You are empowering some of the most evil people on earth that monetize the human trafficking.
And this is then, it gets to the kids, the children, the women, all, and we can walk you through, you know, ad infinitum, the issues regarding that.
This, this is why the Biden administration's a partner in the human trafficking business of the cartels, and the cartels are making more money than they made on drugs, than they made on drugs.
And, and Ken, real quickly, you got to go back and give me that stat again about what you and President Trump, walk me through that statistic again.
unidentified
85% within two hours.
Sure, when the public health order hit, it gave us flexibility we hadn't had before that is very close to how states would operate under their constitutional power.
So we were returning between 85 and 90 percent of all illegal border crossers, and we still had historically high numbers, but we were managing them and getting these people out in under two hours.
Under two hours.
And until governors do that, for instance, Texas is doing a lot of dressy things, including building wall, and building wall's great.
But Mark Morgan will tell you, Tom Homan will tell you, I'll tell you, that wall won't do anything without the political will to return people back over the border.
It's all window dressing until you are willing to put people back over the border.
steve bannon
The way you're doing this on a constitutional basis, so with Abbott and Ducey, what would you recommend, and then I'm going to ask this audience, what you're recommending this audience, besides the fact of going to your site and getting the paper and reading it, we're going to push it out on all of our platforms and maybe having a webinar.
unidentified
Yeah, so what they got to do is, this is live right now, this whole concept is gaining traction.
I've been arguing this Quietly to those in power in Texas especially, but also in Arizona for two years.
And it's taken a long time to build any momentum.
When you look at the press conference Russ and I had in Arizona last week, over a third of the entire Arizona General Assembly joined us.
And other people were supportive but couldn't be there.
That caucus, now they're closely divided in their House and Senate, but the Republicans in the legislature in that state in particular, A very high proportion of them are ready to put money in the budget for the manpower and the resources Ducey would need to execute his responsibility as Commander-in-Chief of Arizona.
And thus far, he's been unwilling to do it.
But in his State of the State last Monday, he literally said, the federal government isn't protecting the border.
We will protect the border.
We will stop the invasion.
He didn't say how he was going to do it.
This is the answer, Steve.
Right here, given to you courtesy of our Founding Fathers.
steve bannon
By the way, this is why we're going to win South Texas.
This is why those Democratic congressmen have been there forever retiring.
This is why Trump did so great in the Rio Grande Valley.
We're taking this show to the Rio Grande Valley.
Working class Hispanics in this country have been brutalized by the cartels because of this.
Brutalized.
unidentified
Absolutely.
steve bannon
This is the way you stop it.
This is winning on the pot.
First off, it's winning on the Constitution, number one.
It's the right thing to do.
It's the ethical thing to do.
Go ahead, Ken.
Sure.
unidentified
You're absolutely right.
Know what we don't talk about enough, and it really pisses me off.
This invasion hurts American poor people the worst.
That's who gets screwed the most.
And nobody cares about those poor people.
Well, I care about those poor people.
I know you do.
That's who has helped the most by enforcing the border.
Give our poor people a chance to get jobs.
Let employers complain about wages having to go up.
Those wages are going to Americans.
That's who I want those wages to go to.
God bless them, and I don't care if they're Hispanic, black, white, purple, or green.
If they're Americans, we should be protecting their labor market.
That's part of what happens here, and that's why poor people are getting screwed the most by these open borders policies, and it needs to stop if we want to help our own poor people help themselves.
steve bannon
Ken, how do people get to you on social media?
How do they get to you down at the Center for Renewing America?
We're putting the policy papers up all over and I'm blowing them up, but how do people get to you?
unidentified
AmericaRenewing.com, they can find the policy papers.
I'm still just on Twitter, Ken Cuccinelli.
I've abandoned Facebook, I haven't done anything else, but on Twitter I rail.
And as I said, AmericaRenewing.com.
steve bannon
Okay, perfect.
And we, you know, I think what we need to do is set up a webinar where Ken Cuccinelli walks through the Constitution and links together.
This will be huge.
We'll set it up.
Ken Cuccinelli, thank you so much.
Honored to have you on here, brother.
unidentified
Good to be with you.
steve bannon
That's how you get to 100 seats right there.
You're going to protect, you have the back of working class Hispanics and African Americans in this country, and you're going to win 100 seats.
They're going to lose South Texas.
Remember, the three Democrats of the nine that fought Pelosi on the Build Back Better out of the box.
Remember, they had to get the CBO score.
Remember, they didn't want to do a CBO score.
Three of the nine were the guys from the Rio Grande Valley.
You know why?
They understand they're going to get the tables run on them.
Let's go down to the border right now.
Ben Berkwan.
Ben, is there any truth to what Ken Cuccinelli's talking about, sir?
ben bergquam
100% and first off I want to start by, God bless Ken Cuccinelli, he laid it out so perfectly.
Arizona and Texas have not just a right but a duty to protect their citizens and they have a constitutional obligation to do that and the authority to do it.
I was driving through Texas from Del Rio down to La Jolla yesterday and I saw what Governor Abbott is doing.
He calls it the Operation Lone Star and To be blunt, it's an absolute joke.
You've got National Guard troops stationed about every mile along the road doing absolutely nothing.
Nothing to stop the invasion coming into our state.
All optics.
It's all political.
If Governor Abbott wants to do something, take them off of the roads, put them on the border, and have them turn the rafts around.
Have them push them back across.
They are national guards.
Their orders are to protect the nation in each state.
That's what they should be doing.
Ken Cuccinelli is 100% right.
And just to tie into that, talking about the working class Hispanics, I was down with La Jolla PD.
It's not just people coming across for For better jobs.
It's mostly that.
It's not just people coming across the river that want a better life.
But it's also the cartels.
The cartels are now in America.
I'm getting stories from these guys that would terrify every single American of cartel members fleeing for their lives from the cartel in Mexico, coming into America, and then committing more murders in America.
This is ongoing every single day because of the Biden border invasion, the Biden border disaster.
And the governors have a duty to do what Ken said.
steve bannon
Hang on.
You hang over.
I'm going to get Cortez in here to break it.
But Burquam, you stay right there.
Burquam was good enough in his reporting.
You know, I had the opportunity, and I don't want to talk about the town, we'll get back to that maybe in another episode, but I talked to a sheriff of a county, and the deputies, they don't have enough squad cars, right?
And we got some donors who may donate, because the state of Texas is not giving them the resources they need!
And all the crime is against working class Hispanics in South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley.
The sweeping The crushing and destruction of the Democratic Party is going to be led by the Rio Grande Valley because of this invasion.
Whoever has the Hispanic working class back is going to win a sweeping, sweeping, sweeping victory in 2022.
Short commercial break.
Cortez is going to lay some math down on all this when we get back in the War Room.
unidentified
War Room.
Pandemic.
steve bannon
With Stephen K. Banham.
unidentified
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon

We're on the eve of the first anniversary of the illegitimate regime taking control here in Washington, D.C., and yes, elections have consequences, and stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.
We know the catastrophic consequences.
We go through it every day here on this show, and today Joe Biden's going to stand in front of the media.
Let's see the media represent today.
Let's see, let's see you represent.
Let's see you represent in some hard questions, not softball questions.
And please, don't waste our time on wag the dog.
We're going to have Harnwell on here from Rome in a second.
All they're talking about over here right now, this morning on the newscast, they've even given up on the voting rights and stealing it.
They know that's dead.
It's all about Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine.
It's wag the dog.
We're going to, we are not going to, the American people do not support going to war, sending combat troops.
Young men and women, the sons and daughters of the deplorables, to the Ukraine, okay?
This is ridiculous.
And the Biden administration is trying to take the eye, and you got all the great thinkers, all the people that are, you know, your betters, they're talking geopolitics and geostrategy, it's all crap.
Okay, what they're trying to do is divert your attention away from the debacle that they've made the American economy, the invasion on the southern border, and the most, the biggest disaster they got, the biggest disaster they got is with the CCP virus.
The right hand doesn't know what the left hand's doing.
Okay, let's go to Steve Cortez.
Steve, your analysis, you and Navarro were the first guys to say stagflation on the afternoon of the 20th of January of 2021 when Biden said, guys, here's the policies, we're going to reverse the Trump stuff, here's what's coming.
Today we're much more, but you added another part of the equation.
As you said, you said, hey, hang on, hang on, hang on.
It's not just going to be the inflation that's going to be rippling because of all this out-of-control spending in the supply chain, correct?
It's going to be also immigration is going to add to that.
Steve Cortez, you've heard Cuccinelli, you've heard Berkman.
Take it away, sir.
steve cortes
And again, Steve, as I keep saying, for Republicans, for the America First movement into 2022, do not major in the minors.
Let's stick to the things that really matter.
And they are the two I's.
They are inflation and immigration.
And they are linked.
And that is an important point here.
And why are they linked?
Because when you have a situation in the United States where real wages are crashing, and we now have 10 months in a row of real wages, meaning adjusted for inflation, meaning real life.
Yes, maybe your pay is increasing, but it's not increasing to the extent that your costs are increasing.
At the gas pump, at the grocery store, everywhere in your life.
That means your real wages are declining for 10 months in a row because of the mismanagement of this economy by Joe Biden and Pelosi and Schumer.
Americans are literally working to lose ground, to get poorer every month.
In that scenario, Steve, The worst possible idea is to import millions of new workers into the United States.
Illegal migrants, economic migrants, to come into the labor market and compete unlawfully and unjustly against American workers, further depressing wages.
But that is the situation we have right now.
I want to put this in historical context, because Steve, you know, I always like to show up with the data.
So let's take a look at the data.
I think a lot of Americans don't realize this.
Going back And let's look, this chart goes all the way back to the mid-1800s, the percentage of America's population that is foreign-born.
And this chart is from Pew Research.
I think a lot of Americans probably don't realize that we are very near, right now, an all-time record high.
We have about 45 million foreign-born population people in the United States right now that is just under 14% of the total population. If you look back historically we're getting near the all-time highs which we hit in the late 1800s at 14.8 we hit 14.7 percent then again a little over a century ago in the early A couple of points that I think are important to make here, Steve.
A hundred years ago, during that massive wave of immigration, we had number one an insatiable need for manual labor in this country.
Number two, we demanded assimilation.
And number three, there was no safety net, no government safety net at all for these new arrivals.
Now, none of those three circumstances are the case today.
In fact, it is quite the opposite.
And yet, we are closing in on a record foreign-born population of the United States.
By the way, let's look, I talked about the highs.
Let's look at the lows from that chart.
In the 1960s into 1970, we had about 10 million foreign-born People in the United States.
So we have four and a half times that many in raw numbers and it was about 5% of the population.
So we have almost three times that much.
In percentage terms.
Now, does this make sense for the United States?
And Steve, I'm not anti-immigrant.
I am the son of an immigrant.
But I also believe that we are doing too much immigration, number one.
It's fueling inflation, number two.
Depressing real wages right now for Americans.
And number three, I think that it is high time to do what we did roughly a hundred years ago.
We need a moratorium, a pause on even legal immigration.
We need a pause on worker visas because we are not doing it right.
That's an absolute must.
I think that is a baseline, bare minimum for America First candidates and America First policies.
But I think we need to go further than that, Steve.
We need a moratorium, a pause on even legal immigration.
We need a pause on worker visas because we are not doing it right.
Let's assimilate legal immigrants to the United States better.
Let's allow wages for American citizens to rise again.
Real wages.
steve bannon
Okay, hang on a second.
I want to make sure everybody understands this.
This is a con by the global corporatist, okay?
This is by the Chamber of Commerce.
What they want is to crush working class.
They want to flood the zone with cheap labor, and that also destroys your schools, destroys your hospital systems, because they're not going to pick up the tab.
They're going to make that the state's problem, and that goes in the back of taxpayers.
Working class Hispanics and African American working class people are the target.
They want to flood the zone with cheap labor, but at the high end, at these visas and all this crap with Silicon Valley, this is all the woke oligarchs want higher operating margins.
They want higher operating margins by not hiring American citizens, but by flooding the zone with overseas labor.
Right, and look, I'm the chairman of the Republican Hindu Association.
We love India, we love the Lao Bajing in China, but on these tech jobs, you just can't flood the zone with overseas labor.
American citizens have to come first, and the way to do it is to implement the plans that Cortez are talking about.
Steve, if we did that, you'd start to see the rising wages across the board that you had in the Trump administration.
Is that correct, sir?
steve cortes
100% and let's remember that 2019 was probably the best, not probably, it was the best year for American workers in all of U.S.
history.
The last year before the CCP virus hit the United States and the world like an epidemiological Pearl Harbor.
But in 2019, you had 6.8% overall wage growth, fantastic wage growth, with very tame inflation, by the way, 2% or lower inflation.
So it was real wage gains for working class Americans.
And here's the best news about what the America First Trump policies did.
Those who had previously lagged, working class people, minorities, They leapt to the front.
They were, in fact, outsized gains.
Everyone did better, but they did the best of all.
We can get back to that, and part of that, Steve, is eliminating illegal migration.
That's, again, a bare minimum.
That's an absolute must, getting control of the border.
But also, again, we need to be bold and we need to go further.
It is time for us to take a pause on legal migration.
It is time for us to end these various worker visa programs, H-1B and similar.
Let's raise Americans' real wages again.
If we do that, we are going to be the majority dominant political movement for decades ahead.
steve bannon
This is the 1932 realignment right here.
This is the beating heart of it.
This is why you look at the math.
All the math.
The Hispanics have had a belly full of this.
A belly full of it.
They understand that this is crushing their community.
These are hard-working, traditionalist families.
Okay?
I want to pivot.
Let's play the cold open.
I want to play the chalk talk.
Can we play the chalk talk from Cortez?
And I want to get Cortez back here on the inflation part.
Let's play it.
steve cortes
Inflation on a lot of people's minds today tanking financial markets and polling from CBS shows that Joe Biden is underwater 40 percentage points on this topic of inflation.
70% of Americans disapprove of his handling of the surge in prices.
One aspect of Biden's inflationary spiral that almost never gets talked about by the corporate media is the effect of vaccine mandates on inflation.
Millions of workers were precluded or discouraged from getting back to work, many of them in key supply chain occupations like trucking and logistics.
But don't take my word for it, because the Jobs Creators Network recently did a survey of business owners, small business owners in America, and they asked them this question.
Do VAX mandates make it harder to find workers?
A supermajority, 61% overall, said yes, they do.
And this is really telling.
Among minority Small business owners, that number is well higher.
72% of Black and Hispanic business owners say Vax mandates make it harder to find workers, reflecting the understandable Vax reluctance in those broader communities.
But here's the takeaway for all Americans.
Remove the Vax mandates to help alleviate Biden's inflation.
steve bannon
So, Steve, the administration, one hand saying one thing, the other hand saying another thing.
You got the Supreme Court getting blown up and now they're going to come back at the state level.
Walk us through where we stand with all this.
steve cortes
Listen, I think this is so crucial and it never gets talked about except on your show, basically, Steve.
Tens of millions.
We had a partial victory of the Supreme Court and we should be happy about that, right?
Biden's onerous mandate on private employers.
But tens of millions of Americans are still today subject to these unscientific and unjust Vaccine mandates as a condition simply to get a paycheck.
All of the military, all healthcare workers, and many giant private employers are doing it.
I pointed this out on my social media.
One, for example, is Citibank, which is particularly galling to me.
Citibank says you either get the vax or you get fired, and it's particularly galling, I think, because Citibank, like every other big bank on Wall Street, was saved by the American taxpayer when they needed us during the credit and housing crisis, and they are paying American citizens back.
By saying, unless we invade your personal health decisions, we are going to fire you as a consequence.
But it's also, Steve, it's not just unjust.
It's also incredibly inflationary, particularly in those key businesses that I mentioned, things like trucking and logistics.
There's a lot of vaccine reluctance among those workers, and they were not working at full capacity.
It created log jams in the supply chain, which have still not worked themselves out.
And again, it's not my opinion.
Look at what business owners tell us.
That survey, by the way, I highly recommend getting into the numbers of that survey from the Job Creators Network.
It's a fantastic organization run by Alfredo Ortiz.
They d behalf of small business owners tell us overwhelmi to find willing workers.
I that minority owners are p about that issue.
mandates make it harder I find it very fascinating are particularly concerne same survey by the way, S them broadly, are you con restrictions impacting your business 82%.
82% said yes.
So all the various restrictions are harmful for business.
But the VAX mandates for employment, which again are still afflicting tens of millions of workers today, that is incredibly inflationary.
So this inflation surge under Joe Biden is by no means just bad luck.
It's not happenstance or circumstance.
It is because of failed policies, primarily his incredible amount of spending and borrowing, then the immigration surge into this country, and lastly, the VAX mandates.
steve bannon
Cortez, hang on for a second.
Okay, we're gonna take a short break.
By the way, if you watched The War Room ten days ago, we talked about the mother of all supply chain meltdowns in the ports of China with Ben Harnwell, our head of international.
Wall Street Journal finally got it today.
Wall Street Journal's story basically reports what Ben Harnwell talked about ten days ago.
We're gonna keep Cortez.
We got Burquam at the border.
We're gonna go there.
We got Ben Harnwell in Rome.
Walk us through this supply chain disaster that's building up in China.
It's going to affect you.
You think you got inflation?
You ain't seen nothing yet.
Transitory that!
Janet Yellen.
Be back in a moment in the War Room.

Do I have the Washington Times piece?
Let's get up.
The Washington Times inside the Beltway.
In the Washington Times, the one conservative broadsheet in town still.
Great paper.
They've got, if you can put it up, Real America's Voice, Right Side Broadcasting, I think Newsmax Streaming, and Getter.
Had over a million viewers on Saturday night on President with Fox News wouldn't cover.
They had over a million viewers, and they did the analysis to compare and contrast it to the evening audience at CNN, which I think is 750,000 people.
It was bigger.
That's how the streaming services are getting so big.
But remember, right side broadcasting the real America's voice getter.
Getter is going to be fully deployed over the next couple of days.
We've got the March for Life on Friday, normally 500,000 to a million people come, many of those young people, that's going to be on Friday, and then on Sunday you've got this amazing, huge They're expecting tens of thousands, so we'll see.
It's going to be from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial.
Speakers are going to be at the Lincoln Memorial.
This is going to be quite an event.
We're going to be all over both of these events.
So, correspondents in the field with Rural America's Voice, War Room will be all over it.
We've got Getter, all of it.
But we want to thank the Washington Times.
for really doing that analysis.
It's really important.
We've got this story and we'll put it up on all the sites right now.
I want to go to Ben Berquam.
It's been so good.
He's got so much to do today, but hanging at the border for us.
Ben, you heard Steve Cortez, you heard Ken Cuccinelli, you're down there in the field dealing with these law enforcement officers, the Border Patrol, Brandon Judd, all of them, these heroes and patriots that are trying to stand up for American citizens while we're being overwhelmed by an invasion.
In conjunction with the worst people on earth, and that would be the Mexican cartels, the drug cartels are now human trafficking cartels, and the illegitimate Biden regime is in business with the Mexican cartels.
They're the junior partner to the cartels in this.
Ben Burquham.
ben bergquam
You're exactly right.
Two things, Steve.
Back to Ken Cuccinelli's point.
Over 75% of the illegal invasion that's happening is happening on the Arizona and Texas border.
If Governor Abbott and Governor Ducey did their duty and secured their border, that would force all of that through New Mexico and California.
That would force these Democrat leftist open border states to have to deal with it.
But I would take it one step further because this invasion is not just on those four border states on the South.
It's every single state across this nation.
has the duty and the right to stand up to protect their own state from invasion.
So when they're crossing into Texas and they're being shipped to Florida or to Arkansas or to Louisiana or to any of these other states across the nation, they have a right to stand up on that same constitutional ground. But I want to end this today talking about the working class folks down Now, I'll tell you this.
It's very difficult to get interviews by locals down on the border.
We get them.
We get locals to talk.
But I was talking to a restaurant owner last night, and he was telling me his story, his family story.
His brother was murdered by the cartels 10 years ago.
They begged for his life.
They begged to pay a ransom to get his life back.
And the cartels told them, there's no amount of money you can pay.
Then they begged to get his body back.
And the cartels told him, if you keep asking questions, your entire family will be next.
unidentified
Yeah.
ben bergquam
That is the fear that exists down on the border.
If we have representatives that have the courage to stand up and say we are not going to let what happened in Mexico, Mexico is controlled by the cartels virtually now.
If we if we have representatives stand up and say we are not going to allow that to happen to America.
We have your back.
You are going to see an uprising like you've never seen before in America by Hispanics on the border.
They're going to stand up and start fighting back.
But right now, they don't know who has their back, and that's why they're quiet.
They're waiting for somebody to stand up and stand with them.
Look, we do.
steve bannon
These are Republicans.
ben bergquam
We do.
steve bannon
Hang on, hang on.
This is the problem.
The problem is the Chamber of Commerce is in business with the Republican establishment.
The Republican establishment in these states wants that cheap labor.
We have their back, and this is what's going to be the realignment.
That's right.
That day is over.
ben bergquam
That's right.
steve bannon
And this is why Abbott and Ducey, you know, Ducey, you know, the darling of the McCain faction out there, the anti-Trump, never Trump facts, stand up and do your job.
Don't give me a state of the state where you say you're going to stop the invasion.
Step up and take action.
And Abbott, we're tired of the optics.
It's all optics.
It's all phony.
Okay?
We want action, action, action.
We're going to get the posse involved in this.
We're going to start pushing this.
These are Republican-controlled states.
I don't want to hear... California and New Mexico, different deal.
Okay?
But California... Texas and Arizona, and that's also the beating heart, even more than Florida, I think.
Of the Trump movement, particularly Arizona and in Texas.
And it's not acceptable that we've got this situation.
Burquam, how do people follow you on your travels over the next couple of days?
I know you've got a new series coming out.
How do people follow you, get to you on social media?
ben bergquam
Yep.
Real America's Voice.
We've got our new show coming out.
It's going to be explosive.
It's called Law & Border.
It's going to be coming out in the next few weeks.
It's going to be incredible.
And to the Rio Grande Valley and to the people across America, to Steve's point, we have your back.
We have your back.
We're going to continue to stand and fight no matter what.
You can get me on social media, FrontlineAmerica.com, and then all social media, Getter, CloudHub, all the rest of it, at Ben Berquam.
steve bannon
But I think the border patrols, 80% Hispanic, and these Hispanic sheriffs and deputies down there in these counties in the rear of Grand Valley are heroes.
They are outgunned, they're outmanned, and nobody's got their back.
When we have conversations, Ben Burquam sets up after hours where I'm talking to these folks and they say we don't have patrol cars, we don't have vehicles, we don't have the infrastructure to be able to take this onslaught of a paramilitary organization like the cartels in the state of Texas not helping them.
And you've got to get donors, and donors are prepared to do this, to buy them a couple of squad cars.
This is not acceptable.
And this is on our plate.
I'm tired of people whining about the Biden administration.
I'm tired of whining about Democrats.
This is where we take action, action, action.
Texas and Arizona are MAGA states.
Ben Berquam, thank you so much.
We're going to take a break.
We're running behind because we're on rants here.
I've got Cortez.
We've got major news with Ben Harnwell out of Rome.
We've got Brian Kennedy about China and the Olympics.
I've got the great Steve Stern and Michelle Terrace.
Michelle Terrace is one of the leaders of this thing called JEXIT, which is Jewish Democrats leaving the Democratic Party and coming over to MAGA.
We've got it all in the next hour.
And by the way, As a payoff for sticking around, we got Joe Allen.
Gonna blow your head up some more about the metaverse in transhumanism.
All in the next hour.
Hang in.
