Health officials are investigating more than 100 possible cases in the US.

Coronavirus has killed more than 100 people there and infected more than 4,500.
We have to prepare for the worst, always.

And so look, what Biden has to do at this point is unify his Democratic caucus and come up with a plan.
And Democrats tonight, right now, at this hour, are scrambling to do this, to come up with a plan to fund the government and separate that from the debt ceiling fight, which they can take up.
A couple weeks later on the calendar, their urgent mission for Democrats right now is to ensure that the government remains funded come Thursday when that money runs out because they know they have the majorities in the legislature.
They have obviously the executive branch.
And if the government were to default, if there were to be some sort of a government shutdown, It would be on the Democrats' watch, and they would suffer politically for it, to say nothing of the human toll of the government shutting down.
Even if Republicans' intransigence and the decision today, of course, not to pass that bill by Senate Republicans, even if that's the reason for the shutdown, Democrats know they're going to bear the brunt of the blame, and so they're scrambling now to show that they can govern competently and put together some sort of package that will pass by Thursday.
So, Lisa, let's pick right up where Phil left off.
What is your reporting on the Democrats' backup plan?
And let's go further back.
Could all of this have been avoided in recent history?
Well, right now, there isn't a backup plan.
That's what Democrats are trying to figure out as we speak.
And I have to say, Brian, you know, I was on your show a week ago, and I feel like we're having the same conversation this week as we had last week.
It was clear then that Republicans would not vote to raise the debt ceiling.
Democrats argue that they should, that this has long been a bipartisan thing, and it was during the Trump years, and that some of the spending that was incurred, Republicans signed off on during the Trump administration.
But in fact, at least funding the government could have been avoided had Democrats just passed a simple bill to do that.
They could have gotten some Republican support, and then they wouldn't have found themselves And in this situation, we're under the gun to fund the government while also negotiating, of course, this infrastructure package, the entirety of Biden's domestic agenda and the sweeping economic package.
So there are a lot of things coming together at once.
And it's really a difficult moment for the Democratic Party.
And it's not an overstatement to say that Biden's pretty much his entire domestic agenda right now is at stake.
in Congress and there doesn't seem to be, at least at this moment, a clear pathway out for the administration or the Democratic Party.
It is Tuesday, 28th September, Year of Our Lord 2021.
We are in historic times.

And they're on a mission to jam this through.
And they know this changes generationally.
The scam is finally completely up, cards up, right?
But we've jammed them up.
They're absolutely totally jammed up.

On this generational stuff they were trying to slide in there, people, in particular the Republicans initially, and the corporate media on the right, Conservative Inc., took the bait, and they're sitting there yammering on about, you know, the 3.5, well should it be 1.2, and should we get Kyrsten Sinema, and should we get Joe Manchin, and the one point, and the infrastructure, we got all these guys.
No, stop, stop, stop.
They need to give us a plan on the basics, how they're going to run the basic government.
Where's their appropriations bill?
Where's their budget bill?
And now they want to do the old three-card money on the continued resolution.
Just kick the can down the road like they've done for years and years and years.

And now they're jammed up.
And Phil Rucker said the quiet part.
Phil Rucker is a hardcore leftist over at the Washington Post.
Just wrote one of the most brutal books on President Trump.
It came out a couple of weeks ago.
Makes the Woodward book look like a high praise for Trump, Rucker's book.
And he said the quiet part out loud.
They understand when the government shuts down at midnight on Thursday, what we've been saying for weeks, they're going to own it.
They own the House, the Senate, and 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and it's going to have a tremendous blowback.
They're in total, complete collapse, free fall.
They have no political capital.
Normally you need supermajorities and massive political capital and three things.
Supermajorities, massive political capital, and the reason you have those is because you've made a case to the American people and the American people support this overwhelmingly.
What they say is, so people, they really support all these individual programs.
Well, hold it, when you cherry pick them and kind of spin them in these polls, you know, maybe when it first sounds, yeah, do I want free stuff?
Sure, I want free stuff.
But when you walk the American people through it, they don't support it at all.
In fact, what was it?
Only 40% of the American people support, in this poll yesterday, support increasing the debt ceiling.
So right now, This audience, the War Room posse, the War Room audience has changed history.
Everybody on Capitol Hill is talking about it.
You have bombarded at a level that hasn't been seen and even surpassed.
The Obamacare fight, for those that remember, back in 2009, that led to the sweeping victories in 2010, but this goes back over a decade to Nancy Pelosi.
You know, her first term as Speaker.
The first time a woman had been Speaker of the House.
This is why they're all talking today about her last battle.
This is her last battle.
The people are going to stop this is you, because you're going to have, you put steel spine into the Republicans and they hold fast, so they hold the line.
None of this can get through.
And it'll all collapse.
It's collapsing as we speak.
And now they're going to try to bite people off right now.
And I think they had a conference meeting.
What I'm hearing is they had a, Republicans had a conference meeting this morning and say, hey, we're going to hold the line and force the Democrats to see if they got the votes.
And AOC, I think somebody just tweeted out, AOC, just said, hey, she's not voting for this infrastructure.
But here's the thing.
We've jammed them up right now on the continued resolution of the debt ceiling.
They have not put forward a plan on how they're going to fund the basics of the federal government.
And not have us have trillion dollar deficits in perpetuity.
Look, I've worked as an investment banker long enough.
Remember, when you're an investment banker, every time you look at a business model, and everybody in the audience knows this, that's put together a business, it's always the third year everything's great.
Right?
Well, I'm not really hitting my numbers now, but in the third year, that third year is heaven.
Everybody wants to live in the third year.
Third year, the rocket, right?
Everything's up.
It's like the Afghanistan pitches we used to see at the White House.
18 months we got this thing.
18 months.
Right now, live, you've got Millie, the traitor.
You've got Austin, the incompetent.
And you've got McKenzie who are testifying right now.

When you look at the plan, you sit there and go, well hang on for a second.
There's a trillion dollar deficit now and in perpetuity.
Remember, taxes as a part of GDP is fluctuating between 17 and 19 percent.
Because everybody tell you, if you raise the tax rates, and don't get me wrong, I'm all for raising the tax rates on the global world corporations, yes.
And I want to limit their ability to do stock repurchases, all the scams they do to put money in their pocket while they're de-platforming you, they're de-banking you, they're crushing you, these world corporations.
They're the worst demons in the world.
I got no love for those guys, but just I'm telling you the practicality of getting around tax code.
It's about 19 or 20 percent.
The gap is between the transfer payments, which are about to explode.
There's a thing in the New York Post today we'll put up.
We haven't gotten into this in a while.
Remember, the face amount of the debt is $28.3 trillion.
That's the face amount.
That's what they're going to explode here with the $16 trillion.
But the contingent liabilities, when I say contingent, a lot of these are kind of money good.
People will tell you, depending on what your discount rate is, there's $100 trillion to $200 trillion of liabilities.
I think Social Security, if you look at some of the actual aerial tables, Social Security, I think it's $113 trillion starting in a couple of years.
And the New York Post has got a great analysis piece up that we'll show you, that we'll put up.
We're trying to get the author on here.
People haven't talked about this in a long time.
This is what this city's about.
This city's about money and power.

Yeah, so yesterday they threw Lieutenant Colonel Scheller in military prison or break because he violated a gag order, an unlawful gag order, which they threw on him after he made his first video asking for accountability from our leadership.
Not only did they give him that gag order, you know, they started systematically taking apart his life.
They relieved him of command, they took away his retirement, and they started going after his family.
So He posted something this weekend and Monday morning he went to check into work and now he's in military prison.
We've been through this system before.
We saw this coming.
You have Lloyd, Austin, and Millie right now testifying and we'll see how that goes.
They're probably just going to try and sweep that under the rug for the deaths of the 13 service members.
And not only that, for the botched drone strike, the last drone strike we did in Afghanistan, which killed seven children and some adults, and nobody's being held accountable for that.

But hang on a second, they got... Milley is, remember, he's senior military advisor.
Since they restructured it in the late 80s, when I was actually in the Pentagon, there's a different command structure with the Joint Chiefs.
Joint Chief's now Senior Military Advisor to the Commander-in-Chief, to the President.
And you got Austin, who is in charge of the withdrawal from Iraq under Obama.
He's now a General, but he got waived and he's Secretary of Defense.
But McKenzie, the Marine General, is the Combatant Commander, right?
He's directly... You can say everything you want about Secretary of Defense and spin Milley and do all this stuff.
And by the way, Milley, just read Peril.
Don't take Steve Bannon's word for it, and don't take Bob Woodward's spin on MSNBC and CNN and all the stuff.
I actually recommend you gotta buy the book and just read Millie plotting with Nancy Pelosi.

So, but, McKinsey Scheller's real grief is with the chain of command of the combatant commanders that Jeopardy!

And so McKenzie's testimony, that's why he's in the brig.

They put him in the brig to shut him up because McKenzie's testifying today in the Senate and tomorrow in the House.
That's why Colonel Scheller is in jail.

And another reason they threw him in the brig as well is because they know Lieutenant Colonel Scheller is emblematic of how all the veterans and all the active duty members feel right now.
And they want to make an example out of him.
You speak out against this elitist leadership, then you're going to get thrown in prison.
You know, all of us Are struggling with what we've watched in Afghanistan, how poorly it was handled, how incompetent it was.
And Lieutenant Colonel Scheller was the only one who would stand up and ask for accountability.
And he did so in active duty uniform.
Um, you know, he's a hero to me.
Uh, he's, he's courageous and, uh, we're going to keep, we're going to stand beside him as, uh, you know, we continue to fight this.

You know, the last drone strike we did killed seven children and three adults, yet Nothing is being said crickets, you know, but if somebody below you in the chain does something they're gonna hammer you No, no McKinsey just kind of shrugged his shoulders.

They just did this because they had to have a show that said he was doing something.
Senior Chief, here's the question folks have.
Given everything you and your wife have gone through, And in all the almost putting you away for life, destroying your family, trying to destroy your family, actively trying to destroy your family, you could have kicked back.
What is it about Colonel Scheller that's gotten you engaged so deeply in this that the Pipe Hitters Foundation has really taken this up as a cause celeb?

And this Lieutenant Colonel Scheller is a type of individual that we want to stand behind.
He has integrity.
He has honor.
He has served 17 years in the Marine Corps honorably, and all he did was ask for accountability.

This is the type of leader that we need in the military and in the Marine Corps, and yet here he is sitting in military prison for speaking the truth.

What is different today is that they are not operating in a system where there is an opposition party that's being constitutionally responsible.

So that, for example, if the people of America see that the government's irresponsibly spending money Unsustainable debt that the dollar is going to go down in value that inflation is going to skyrocket They will change their behavior in a way which will make that happen for example They'll push for more wage hikes to keep pace with inflation.
They'll invest less so What that theory means for this current crisis is that we can break the back of inflationary expectations, and therefore the coming crisis, if we can break the back of the Biden regime and the Pelosi regime's attempt to spend us into oblivion.
So that's what the stakes are.

So stagflation right now is a product of many things.

The only thing we should be doing is implementing the Trump economic plan.
And at the top of my list on that is the Buy American, Hire American.

Or chips that can't get to our auto factories in Detroit.
The centerpiece, Steve, the centerpiece of cracking the stagfation problem and growing again is going to be Buy American, Hire American.
