Excuse me, I keep calling him General, but my Secretary of Defense.
The fact of the matter is, I have not seen that.
Matter of fact, the exact opposite I've gotten.
The exact opposite thing is we're acting with dispatch, we're acting, committing to what we said we would do.
Look, let's put this thing in perspective here.
What interest do we have in Afghanistan at this point with al Qaeda gone?
We went to Afghanistan for the express purpose of getting rid of Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, as well as, as well as getting Osama bin Laden.
And we did.
Imagine, just imagine, if that attack, if bin Laden had decided with Al-Qaeda to launch an attack from Yemen.
Would we ever have gone to Afghanistan?
unidentified
What is your current estimate for how many Al-Qaeda are inside Afghanistan?
I haven't seen an estimate on that.
I don't know that we have an exact estimate.
We don't have military intelligence estimates about how many Al-Qaeda remain in Afghanistan.
We know that Al-Qaeda is a presence as well as ISIS in Afghanistan and we've talked about that for quite some time.
We do not believe it is exorbitantly high but we don't have an exact figure for you.
As I think you might understand, Jen, it's not like they carry identification cards and register somewhere.
We don't have a perfect picture.
Our ability, our intelligence gathering ability in Afghanistan isn't what it used to be because we aren't there with the same numbers that we used to be.
But the President just said that there is no Al Qaeda presence in Afghanistan.
That does not seem to be correct.
What we don't think is, what we believe is that there isn't a presence that is significant enough to merit a threat to our homeland as there was back on 9-11 20 years ago.
Why do you continue to crush the Taliban, Mr. President?
Why do you continue to crush their pledges, Mr. President?
One more question, Mr. President, please.
There are thousands of people surrounded the airport.
The Camp Salavan, Camp Veron, the military entrance, all of them have been closed.
So you're beating the people, smoking fire gas at them.
There's no way that people get in.
So this is a complete failure.
What the President has been saying, it contradicts the situation.
My journalist is telling me from the airport.
One of my journalists met inside the airport and the other one has been beaten and still outside.
So the reality on the ground is that the administration has literally failed.
This footage video you see, it is from my journalist who wanted to make his way out.
The U.S.
Embassy has issued them these passes or they call it visa passes.
The problem is not the Taliban.
The problem is our capabilities.
U.S.
forces and the and the Afghan security forces, they cannot control the crowd.
We're talking about thousands of people.
18,000 left 6,000 screen last night.
Right now, everything is closed.
So what we see all these footages, they're being beating.
And here's another thing.
Over 90% of these people have never worked for the US government.
Their family is not in the US.
So it has been a mismanagement of this program.
You know, this should have been done a long time ago.
We literally failed.
It has been a terrible leadership, and I think still the president, he admitted his failure, and he's still not regretting what is happening on the ground.
You know, yes, there are a lot of brave American souls on the ground, but if the leadership is not working, if the strategy is not working, how are you going to save Safely bring these people home.
You know, on the crowd, my journalist told me there are a lot of American citizens with green cards, even with a U.S.
citizenship passport, and the NGOs.
Past 24 hours, 15 C-17s arrived with several hundred more troops that allowed us to get to that 5,800 number, and also some supplies.
As of 0300 Eastern EDT today, this morning, and for the previous 24 hours, 16 C-17s and one C-130 departed Kabul.
These flights contain nearly 6,000 passengers, including a couple hundred American citizens.
steve bannon
Okay, we didn't even have time to give our Open.
You're in the War Room.
It's Friday, the 20th of August, the Year of Our Lord 2021.
It is the seventh month anniversary of this, I guess, regime.
I don't even know what you call it.
We could have played Two hours of mash-up.
We want to give you a taste of what's out there.
And the liberal media is all over Biden.
I've never seen... By the way, Captain Bannon is here as co-host.
I've got in-studio co-host Cortez, who saw this today and says I've got to come over and talk about it.
Steve, you're a policy guy and understand capital markets and know economics better than anybody.
You're also a messaging guy.
But here it's not a message, it's action.
And that's what we want to show, the lies and misrepresentations.
We had five of the cuts we had to pull at the last second.
Right.
About the 169.
Biden, he's just, he's not even making stuff up.
He has no idea.
So give me your assessment of where we are, sir.
steve cortes
Here's my assessment.
This month so far of August, and we're only 20 days in, we're only two-thirds done, it has been the worst month for any president in American history.
And I don't think I'm exaggerating to say that.
I want to back that up with data and evidence.
And I think there are three main reasons, three created crises, that have gotten massively worse, or in the case of Afghanistan, really begun in this month just of August.
Think about what's happened in the last three weeks on inflation.
We got literally the worst producer price index number ever.
Ever.
7.8% price rise.
Then we look at the border.
212,000 illegals trespassing into the United States.
Those are the ones that we know about.
The worst number in two decades, despite the searing heat of July at the border.
That makes that number even worse.
And then, of course, the absolute implosion in Afghanistan.
I think when you put inflation together with porous borders, with a Biden border crisis, together with the disaster in Afghanistan, this is the worst month for any president in the history of the United States.
steve bannon
And this is why you talk about 3 November of Doug Mastroianno at the bottom of the hour.
He has no real solid base.
There's no floor to this.
There's no floor to this number.
steve cortes
I put this out on my social media, on my Getter.
Please follow me there.
I'm at Steve and also Twitter.
I put out that, you know, the good book, the Holy Bible, says that the wages of sin is death.
Well, the wages of a stolen election Is this regime, okay?
This is the wages, this is the result of a stolen election, is that we have a regime that is this incompetent.
And by the way, last night on my show on Newsmax, I had the great Dinesh D'Souza on, and he's really quite a wordsmith, and he gave a great line, I think.
He said that what Joe Biden has done, he has combined the incompetence of Jimmy Carter with the malevolence of Barack Obama.
He's the two of those mashed together, and I think that was a very eloquent and correct assessment of who Biden is and what he's doing.
And I'm telling you folks, You know, sometimes when you're in the moment, it's hard to have perspective, right?
But I think, you know, you're a student of history, Steve, and I think you'll back me on this, that you'd be hard-pressed to come up for a period of time in all of American history of 46 presidents to find a worse stretch than August has been for the American people and for Joe Biden.
steve bannon
And these are not small things, not like guys have a bad run.
steve cortes
One of these would be terrible.
steve bannon
This is an economy that is imploding before your eyes, and the worst, from what Trump did in 19, it peaked in 19, with the economy for the strivers, for the working class people.
Now you have the most unfair tax of all, inflation.
unidentified
Yes.
steve bannon
And they're about to try to jam.
They've called him back next week because they've got to jam through these spending bills to try to save themselves, right?
To pay people off.
Also, the invasion.
The invasions, it's unbelievable.
The numbers are so big.
And now, their project.
He says we're there to kill Al-Qaeda.
You were the Senate Foreign Relations guy for 10 years and 4 years as Vice President.
All 20 years he's either been a fan of the Senate Foreign Relations or the Vice President of the United States.
He's been a major player and he's the biggest nation builder of all.
This is their project that's coming down around them.
steve cortes
He opposed the only good thing that we did there in the last 18 years or so, which is killing Bin Laden!
So he literally, he has everything wrong, right?
He supported two decades of nation-building, but he opposed the best thing that we ever did during that stretch, of course, which is SEAL Team 6 taking out Bin Laden.
So he's been, as Robert Gates, his own Secretary of Defense, when he was Vice President, said he's been wrong on every major foreign policy decision for four decades.
That's his Secretary of Defense, not Steve Cortez.
And by the way, You know, Steve, watching that general right there, that Marine General, I don't know how he could even get those words out of his mouth to say we've evacuated 6,000 people, about 200 were American.
What an absolute disgrace!
200 out of 6,000 people are Americans?
That's your prioritization over there in Afghanistan?
By the way, Steve, this isn't just me, you know, this reaction isn't just coming from Steve Cortez or Steve Bannon.
steve bannon
The polling is starting to show us that, and if you like, I can get into some of those numbers and give you I want to get into, and particularly I want to get into, and we're going to go back to the press conference in a second, but I want to get into, I want to talk about first the polling number of The Economist, remember, and of course my mailman threw it in the mud.
The Economist, which is one of the tip sheets for the party of Davos, their poll, not a War Room poll, not a Newsmax poll, an Economist poll, Hispanics.
What do they think of Joe Biden?
steve cortes
Economist's YouGov poll that came out.
I really couldn't believe this almost when I read it, Steve.
I'm kind of a poll nerd, so I mean, there's 255 pages.
I read them all.
And you very rarely in these polls, because the United States is such a big and diverse country, you very rarely see zeros, okay?
I mean, you can ask any question and get a couple percent to say sure, you know, and to raise their hand.
So they asked, is the economy, you know, excellent, fair, poor?
The percentage of Hispanics, and I put this out on my social media and I circled it so that people could see it because it's just stunning to me, The percentage of Hispanic citizens in this country who describe the economy as excellent is zero.
Zero.
It's the same as John Blutarski's grade point average in Animal House.
It is zero point zero.
It's almost impossible to have that little excitement about the economy.
But what does that tell me?
That Hispanics, who by definition are mostly working class strivers, the most entrepreneurial segment demographic in American society, by quite a long shot actually, something The Democrats see these polls as well.
I'm not the only one.
and the entrepreneurs have no confidence in this Biden economy and they are being crushed by this Biden inflation.
Now look, the Democrats see these polls as well.
I'm not the only one.
They know what's going on, which is why they are trying so hard right now on an absolute bull rush to get everything they possibly can get through now, their radical agenda, which is why if the Republicans would just man up and look at these polls that I'm talking about, it doesn't even take when I say man up though, it doesn't even take that much It's actually the kind of easy political call right now.
steve bannon
Just don't be a collaborator with a failing regime, okay?
Don't be Vichy Republicans.
Don't be back in the Afghan army, okay?
Don't be back in the Afghan army.
Mo, I want to bring you here for a second and we'll turn back to Steve about this press conference today.
Tell me about, you reported this morning, you had great insights from your contacts there, about British and French actually going out, commandos, special forces, going out into Kabul, getting their people and bringing them back in, a host of reasons the Americans are not doing it.
But Joe Biden tells this fairytale thing, 169, there's a mission to get 169 in, we didn't have enough time to play the tape, but Barbara Starr lights up Admiral Kirby, says, hey, tell us about the mission, how many guys, and Kirby goes, well, No, I'm not so sure.
He looks around, I don't really have the facts.
She goes, you don't have the facts of this mission?
He goes, I actually think they were outside the gate and we just let them in.
Mo, what are you hearing about people going into actually the city and taking American citizens and getting them to safety in Kabul Airport?
maureen bannon
My sources on the ground are saying that that is a false statement coming from President Biden.
There's no confirmation that that is actually occurring.
There has been guidance put out that the U.K.
Special Forces, as long as U.S.
citizens are at the rally point, where they're picking up their personnel, that they will bring them to the airport.
But there is no U.S.-led mission into the city to get our citizens and bring them to the airport.
And we saw that in the Pentagon press briefing, where they said that And they believe that they're right outside the gate.
steve bannon
Steve, so let's talk about this briefing this afternoon.
That's not what you... right before he announces, because War Room lit him up this morning, he's not going to Delaware.
He's actually going to stay in the White House, right?
What did you think about his press conference and the questions and just his demeanor?
steve cortes
Well, first on the optics, let me say this, because the substance is more important, but on the optics, the fact that he had Vice President Harris and he had Secretary Blinken behind him with masks on, it just drove me crazy.
What a terrible, weak visual, okay?
These are vaccinated people.
They're not in a crowded space.
Uh, and yet they're wearing masks for performative theater purposes.
I think it's unfortunately indicative of how this whole White House operates.
But more importantly, on the substance part, Steve, uh, it was very clear.
Number one, he was not asked terribly hard questions.
Uh, he certainly did not give honest answers to them.
I mean, he just didn't.
I mean, Chris for honest.
unidentified
Yeah.
steve cortes
I mean, you know, saying for example, uh, that Americans have no problem getting to the airport.
Even corporate media, even MSNBC and CNN immediately lit him up.
Clarissa Ward, who I think, by the way, credit where it's due, I think she's doing some great reporting over there, and she immediately said, are you kidding?
She said, we could hardly get here, and we're press, right?
I mean, we're known, and we're press, and you know, we have abilities that regular civilians obviously don't have.
She said, there's no way that Americans can get to the So it was terrible on the optics.
It was even worse on the substance.
I'm telling you, Steve, this is a presidency that is spiraling downward.
It's terrible news for our country, but it's also political opportunity.
And we in the America First movement need to realize that, and we need to convince and cajole and, if necessary, pressure the Republican politicians, the legacy officeholders in this town, to steal up and to realize just how weak and wobbly Joe Biden is.
This is the worst month Of any presidency in all of American history.
And again, it's the 20th.
I don't know what can happen in the next 11 days, but it scares me to think about it.
steve bannon
We're two-thirds through.
As Afghanistan spins out of control, the economy spins out of control, the border spins out of control.
We're going to have a couple of mothers on here.
They're going to go and strike a nationwide strike at the moms about the vaccines.
His handling of COVID spins out of control.
This shows you there was no due diligence.
There was no due diligence done by the media.
They did not allow the American people really to weigh and measure this guy, and they're the ones, the social media oligarchs and the media, and the corporatists, Wall Street, foisted this guy on the country, and this is what we have, ladies and gentlemen.
See it in bright, bold color.
Short commercial break.
Be back with Steve Cortez, Captain Ben, and In The War Room in just a moment.

Tonight on Newsmax, the great show at 9 p.m.
The co-host right here is Steve Cortez, Jen Pellegrino.
It's a fantastic show.
Love the folks over there at Newsmax.
You always do your Chalk Talk, which I love.
I love it every time.
But a little preview.
You threw down hard, so let me challenge you.
steve cortes
Sure.
unidentified
Okay?
steve bannon
Because you're a numbers guy, and that's what I love about you.
You just said that Joe Biden had the worst month in the history of any president.
steve cortes
Correct.
steve bannon
And you laid out a couple of big verticals.
You're a guy that backs it up with the math.
Let's back that up.
steve cortes
Sure.
No, and let me back it up because I'm not the only person who thinks this, clearly.
A lot of American citizens, even if they're not that politically involved, they're awakening to their reality, right?
They know how much it costs for them to fill up their car, how much the grocery store costs.
They know that perhaps their child, a high schooler, is being pressured into taking a shot that mom maybe doesn't want for junior.
To have to go back to school, so they know what's going on.
And to give you the numbers on this, this is a little sneak peek on my Chalk Talk for tonight about the crashing popularity.
steve bannon
Newsmax has a little more sophisticated graphics and the board and everything like that.
unidentified
In the boardroom, this is a working class show.
steve cortes
We kind of use almost like a sports board, like a telestrator, you know what I mean?
A little bit of John Madden, a little bit, on TV, but in politics.
But let me give you some numbers here.
And I think there's two polls that are worth talking about that are very recent.
The Ipsos poll last week versus this week.
In just one week, mind you.
I mean, in just a week, Steve.
Last week, according to Ipsos Favorability, Biden was plus 8.
51% approved, 43% disapproved.
Great rating, okay?
Plus 8 is fantastic for any politician.
He was plus 8 last week.
It has completely flipped.
It's moved 11 net points.
He is now, as of this week, released yesterday, he is now 46% approved, lost 5% on the approval, and he's up to 49% on the disapproval.
Gained 6% or, you know, lost or gained, I mean added to the number of disapproval.
So he went from plus 8 to minus 3 in a week.
In the same poll.
Now, you might say, OK, hey, maybe the poll's goofy.
Possible.
Possible.
But let's also look at Susquehanna.
This one just came out, and I think this is fascinating.
His approval in Susquehanna for the first time in the history of that poll went below 50 percent.
He is down to 49 percent.
So not too different from Ipsos' finding at 46 percent.
By the way, CNBC's at 48.
So right now, the polling pre... Now, again, Important caveat.
Pre-Afghanistan, the polling seemed to be, you know, he was definitely losing a lot of momentum coming from the 60% area into the upper 40s.
But 49% was what they found for the entirety of the poll, which was taken between August 12th and August 18th.
But here's the really critical part, Steve.
And I think this is the most important number.
38% approval only of people who were polled in the last three days.
So while Afghanistan was imploding on August 16th, 17th, 18th, 38 percent approval per Susquehanna for Joe Biden.
So I know you've talked about this a lot, I have as well.
We both have been saying he's going to at least 40, you know, I think at least.
When I look at that Hispanic number to connect this with our last conversation of the last segment, the Hispanic economic approval number of zero, zero, okay?
When I combine this trend on overall approval with the issues polling, it tells me that this guy is in A death slide in terms of popularity, and he doesn't have a base.
Remember that.
There is no Trump base.
Listen, Obama had a base.
He absolutely did.
He had people who adored him.
He had a rock star quality to a certain segment of America.
Not to me, but to a certain segment.
Be the first to admit that, okay?
Trump had that, you know, and then some on steroids.
Biden doesn't have that.
There are no fervent, rabid Biden fans.
They just don't exist.
steve bannon
Elections have consequences.
Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.
You're about to see this.
The reason is people didn't get a chance to do due diligence.
They didn't know this was what he was going to do.
They didn't know what his plan was on the economy, on the border.
steve cortes
Because oligarchs like Zuckerberg prevented the American people from knowing the truth.
By the way, I use the phrase stolen election quite a lot, and I think it was stolen via drop boxes and via mail-in ballots, but I think it was also stolen By the oligarchs and by their tactics to censor information from the American people.
We know that, for example, just on the issue of Hunter's laptop, just that issue alone, again, polling tells us that enough Biden voters tell us that they would have changed their vote to a degree that is more than sufficient to move those three very close states of Arizona, Wisconsin, and Georgia back into the Trump category, which would give us an electoral tie, which he would have won in the House of Representatives.
So, yes, look, A lot of buyer's remorse going on right now from Biden voters.
A lot of them, unfortunately, didn't have the information they should have had.
And it's not all their fault if they're not politically astute.
steve bannon
And this is what the numbers are showing.
Since there wasn't 81 million of them, that's where these numbers are going to fall.
I'll tell you, I've said from day one and whenever it's curled up on the afternoon, seven months ago, I said, hey, This is not going to be nine states at it.
There's not going to be 50 Supreme Court justices.
Just get out of the fetal position.
We hammer this guy.
He bleeds political capital.
You get to the low 40s, you can't get anything done.
We jam him up.
Gets to the high 30s, it's over.
But now, I'm telling you, with these types of crises... Headquarters in Susquehanna.
steve cortes
We're in the high 30s.
steve bannon
The high 30s, I'm telling you, I see, it's not beyond because he has no base, he stole this, he's illegitimate.
You could see a two-handle in front of this thing.
You could see a 29, which would be unprecedented.
Nixon walking to the helicopter was a 33, right?
You don't get a 20.
I don't think Hoover, even the rudimentary stuff you had then was a 20.
steve cortes
Nixon never had a month like this.
No, not in the worst days of Watergate.
steve bannon
Hoover never had a month like this.
Hoover had some bad months.
steve cortes
His problems were contained to Watergate, right?
I mean, pretty able president outside of Watergate, right?
You're right, Hoover.
Massive problems on the economy.
But he did not have three concurrent created crises of this magnitude created.
steve bannon
This didn't happen.
By his own actions.
steve cortes
This is a happenstance, not bad luck.
steve bannon
And this is why the thing about him being old and not on top of the optics, and now the reality, he can't handle these complex crises.
You know, he can't multitask, right?
One's obviously overwhelming him.
Nancy Pelosi, you may hate her, but she's smart and tough.
This is why, we've worked through the summers here, August has not been a recess month for years, right?
She's called everybody back, which is unusual, for next week.
They've got to jam through the infrastructure and the $3.5 trillion, and worry about the debt ceiling.
steve cortes
Listen, they see these polls that we're talking about.
They're not dumb, especially not...
I'm not so sure I'm going to give Nancy the credit, but I think her staff is incredibly crafty and incredibly strategic.
And yes, they realize that the window's closing, right?
I mean, this is not going to pass next year, that's for sure, in an election year, and they know the window's closing on this legislative session, and they see these same polls that we see.
That's why it is critical for Minority Mitch McConnell and worthless Lindsey Graham and And the House side as well.
steve bannon
Kevin McCarthy, they need to... McCarthy stepped up last night on 5.
steve cortes
And he's getting there, yes.
steve bannon
He's throwing down hard.
We gotta give a hat to McCarthy.
But by the way, you gotta start convincing some of these Democrats.
But in the Senate, you can't have 19 collaborationists.
steve cortes
No, we absolutely can't.
And listen, here's the thing.
Although the tactical decisions of the Republicans in the Senate have been just miserable.
unidentified
Right.
steve cortes
And have, unfortunately, let Biden out of a corner.
Again, use a boxing analogy.
He was wobbling in a corner.
It wouldn't have taken much to deliver a political knockout punch.
Instead, they let him out of the corner.
They let him refresh himself for a little bit.
But here's the good news.
We're not out of options.
We have fewer options, unfortunately.
But we're not out of options because of the debt ceiling.
And if the Republicans have the guts, and President Trump has been very adamant about this, very public about this, that they have to show the guts to defend the American people on the debt ceiling.
The inflation situation in this country is absolutely out of control.
It is crushing regular Americans.
You know, listen, very wealthy people, inflation to them might be annoying, but it doesn't change their way of life, right?
The investment banker, the Silicon Valley executive, to fill up his luxury car, it costs twice as much, it annoys him, but it doesn't change his life.
But to a single mother who has a long drive to her job, you double the price of gas, you send the price of food up 30%.
That is crushing to them.
It is absolutely crushing.
And that's what's happening right now in America.
We have serious inflation for the first time in a generation in this country.
And Steve, again, we were talking about history before.
Getting back to history, I think there's an important point for us to realize.
Terrible things happen in societies because of inflation, historically.
We have already, right now in the United States, a very polarized country, right?
We are a very disputatious society right now.
steve bannon
You've said this for a long time.
steve cortes
And if we throw inflation on top of that, okay?
You've said this for a long time.
It scares me what could happen.
I don't think terrible things can happen.
Argentina was an incredibly sophisticated and advanced and wealthy country.
And inflation turned it into a basket case, which it has been now for almost a hundred years.
And inflation created Don't think terrible things can't happen here.
That's how important inflation is, I'm telling you, Steve.
Which is why we need those Senate Republicans to find some backbone and stand up for the American people.
And it's politically easy now!
It's not even like you're walking out on a plank giving these poll numbers.
steve bannon
Seven months ago, when we had you on here talking about this, at the start of this, you said, look, we're going to go back to the 70s and stagflation.
You could see right now this guy's economic policies.
You had it as a called shot.
When you see that team, you've got about a minute.
You see that team around him, the kind of feckless foreign policy guys, and you see the economics guys.
How does this play out over just the next couple of weeks, given that you don't have a lot of rock stars in that group and not a lot of strong personalities?
steve cortes
No, they certainly don't.
And they have people who either don't understand economics or frankly just don't care because they're just more interested in raw political power and middle-class people be damned.
The middle-class people will have to deal with it.
steve bannon
You don't believe this inflation is transitory?
You told me from day one.
steve cortes
That transitory is the most overused phrase in all of Washington, D.C.
No, it's not transitory.
It is structural.
It is 100% structural.
We're seeing it month after month after month.
By the way, just to that point, Steve, how often do prices go down for goods?
How often does that happen?
Do you walk into a store and say, it has permanently gone down?
Not just a sale item, but it's permanently gone down?
It doesn't happen, right?
So the idea that there's no stickiness to this inflation, to me, is ludicrous, particularly given that the Fed, unfortunately, doesn't have the backs of American workers either.
They're more than happy to be fully politicized and play ball with their old colleague, Janet Yellen, who's now gone across to the political side at Treasury.
It's a really dangerous situation.
steve bannon
The other thing I want to mention is that Powell's up for renomination.
What, in a month?
My call is Janet Yellen goes back to the Fed.
She hates Treasury.
She's done a terrible job.
I don't think they renewed Powell.
Although, Powell told them everything he wanted.
He's going to keep interest rates at zero past the election.
This is catastrophic.
We are driving off the cliff rapidly.
steve cortes
The Fed's totally politicized, and I believe that the Fed, for decades, basically since Volcker, all it has really cared about is its institutional political power.
It's not trying to defend the real prosperity of the American people.
If it were, by the way, what Powell would be doing right now would be what Volcker did in the early 1980s, because we have a similar inflation situation.
And that was brutal, by the way.
It took guts.
steve bannon
But it made President Reagan.
That's what made the Reagan Revolution.
Okay, short commercial break.
Doug Mastriano, the Colonel's back.
He's got some comments about what happened today in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Colonel Mastriano, next in The War Room.
unidentified
War Room Pandemic with Stephen K. Bannon.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room Pandemic.
Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
steve bannon
Okay, Telegram, the forums, the live chat, all of it's on fire because of Cortez throwing down here the worst month in the president's history.
We told you just combat this by standing up to it and they're going to implode and they're imploding.
You know why?
They're incompetent.
Okay, they're totally and completely incompetent, and the press and the oligarchs did not let the American people do due diligence.
The American people, they're doing their due diligence right now, and they're voting.
Hispanics in this country, about Biden's handling of the economy, excellent, zero point zero.
Like Steve said, it's mathematically impossible, you don't even see those.
Tonight, nine o'clock on Newsmax, you and Jen Pellegrino, you're going to have a deeper drill down on what you just walked us through.
unidentified
Exactly.
steve bannon
Powerful, powerful, powerful, Cortez.
Okay, today on live TV, in the morning show, we had a good old-fashioned throwdown, right?
It was Colonel Doug Mastriano, and then it was Jake Corman, the President Pro Tem of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Senate, then Mastriano came back.
So, Colonel Mastriano, the complaint of Jake Corman is that you weren't doing your job, you weren't doing any heavy lifting, you were coming on War Room, you were going around giving speeches, You were being a show horse, not a workhorse, which is not the way I know you.
Because if you had not had the hearing in Gettysburg, we wouldn't be getting a report from Arizona early next week.
We wouldn't be having Fulton County throwing a receiver ship in Georgia.
Nothing would be happening.
So tell us what actually happened and what's the reality here.
Are we going to get a forensic investigation, which is the way it's got to be termed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania?
Is that going to happen, sir?
doug mastriano
Yeah, first off, the allegations of, you know, not working for this. What an absolute nonsense. It's like Orwellian newspeak here and no one's worked harder in the Senate and almost everybody knows that as a fact. And so we're pressing forward here. We worked our tails off to give a good lay down on how we're going to move forward, tactically, strategically and constantly. Jake was laying out obstacles. It's a typical tactic with their fancy
consultants, just lay blame on the things you're yourself are guilty of obstructing and nothing can be further from the truth.
As he's working behind my back, as he's waylaying my legislation, as he's telling the people in Harrisburg, don't give them my campaign, which I don't need their money.
And as he is constantly kicking his can down the road on an audit and forensic investigation, as he's constantly making up an excuse, I'm obstructing.
You know, I tolerate it with his attacks on me, with his games, with him pulling the rug out from underneath me for my forensic vote.
And I still work through that.
But there is a point, Steve, where it came that it was just a big game for him and there was no way ahead.
So that's why I came to the public.
The people have to judge me based off my actions.
Talk is cheap.
And that's exactly what the other side is.
It's a bunch of baloney.
steve bannon
Okay, real quickly, he committed on national TV to back these subpoenas.
Are these the ones that our audience said, hey, we love Mastriano.
If he says it's the way he's got it done, that's the way it has to be.
Is there anything, is there any bait and switch here?
Or do you believe Corman, he's got this new Air Force guy on this other panel, other committee, they're going to pitch to.
Is that going to be the same thing you're working on?
And what people want Is to get out of the politics and just get to enforce subpoenas so people can get the information so we start a process like you have in Arizona and like you have in Georgia.
Is that going to happen?
doug mastriano
And exactly as I tried on the 6th of August until Jake Corman himself called up my committee members told them to vote and cancel my reservation for the hearing room and locked me out of it.
So this should have been rolling weeks ago and it's because of him that we're at a stalemate here.
He's only playing this right now because he's been publicly called out and people have to make their own decisions here.
But he's the reason why this is delayed.
I have a lot of misgivings and doubts that it's going to be done correctly and because it has to be done with integrity.
And as he even said to me and several other senators in May, Mastriano has to lead this forensic investigation because he's the only one to have any credibility on the other side of it.
So, you know, what he does, we'll see.
But I seriously have my doubts.
steve bannon
So what action are you going to take at Colonel Mastriano?
unidentified
Yeah, we back.
steve bannon
Colonel Mastriano, what action are you going to take?
doug mastriano
Yeah, I'm pressing ahead.
Be aware that he stripped me of my staff in Harrisburg.
It's a bit daunting.
Next will be my committee chairmanship.
He's already threatened to take that away, which I was very clear that he's going to play this political game here.
So I'm going to keep on speaking.
steve bannon
Hold on, besides speaking, can you call a committee meeting and just have a vote?
Can you publicly call for a meeting and have a vote Monday or Tuesday?
doug mastriano
Yeah, I can call for it, but he's going to take the room away from me.
I have to reserve the room through his office.
And the same tactic they played on me two weeks ago, they canceled my reservation and locked me out.
And so that's the game he's playing.
He controls the keys to all the hearing rooms, and therefore I won't be given access to any room that has an actual vote.
This is ridiculous.
I can't believe You know, I served my country for 30 years.
I'm no better than anyone else here, but I love my country.
I'm doing this job here because the people like him have run our country into the ground.
And you're right.
He even took credit for the Gettysburg hearing.
He never even bothered to show up to it.
It's just funny how these politicians work.
Just do your darn job.
Stop listening to your consultants.
Get up, get out of your chair there and make a difference here.
Our state needs to do a forensic investigation.
It should have happened months ago.
And when he finally has somebody that's stepping up, leading the way, of course, he pulls a rug out from underneath him because he can't control him.
steve bannon
Colonel, how do people follow you on social media?
You're a big hero to the war room posse, and trust me, they're going to have your back.
So how do people follow you in this fight?
doug mastriano
On Facebook, Doug Mastriana fighting for freedom, and of course on Twitter and elsewhere, same name as well, Senator Doug Mastriana.
steve bannon
Colonel, thank you very much.
doug mastriano
Thank you.
steve bannon
Keep fighting.
By the way, we've got to get a full forensic investigation, what it's called.
By the way, it is an audit, but they've got to, for legal terms, call it that.
steve cortes
Listen, I think those two, Corman and Mastriano, they've got to sit down together, perhaps with somebody to mediate, really.
steve bannon
Like a guy like Donald J. Trump.
steve cortes
Somebody like that.
Somebody like you could do it.
I mean, really, they've got to mediate this and figure this out because it is way too important for the American people to be worrying about being locked out of a meeting room, right?
unidentified
I mean, we just can't have those kinds of... We can't hinge on that.
steve cortes
Yeah, we can't have that kind of student council, you know, nonsense.
And by the way, I'm not saying that to criticize Mastriano.
steve bannon
Not at all.
But I'm just saying these two clearly... The games have got to stop.
steve cortes
We've got to get serious about this.
steve bannon
Because Shapiro and these guys are serious.
The other guys, people may not like them, but they're serious, tough, smart people, right?
Shapiro's going to block this every step of the way.
So you've got to get together and we've got to punch through this.
We said, look, signal not noise.
We said on August 15th.
The firestorm that you're about to see, and this is another one Biden's coming right at him, is the American mothers.
When you got to go back to school, and Fauci's been talking about vaccinating the kids and using the school, going back to school, as a forcing function between the mask, CRT, but the mask and vaccinations.
You're going to have it.
You were all over that in mid-July, correct?
steve cortes
Yes, so I put an article up on July 13th, even in liberal states, this was the title of it, even in liberal states, get ready for schools versus parents over masks and vaccines because I saw what was happening even in liberal or left-leaning jurisdictions and I knew then and I know now that this is going to continue to be a firestorm, that you've got a lot of very protective mothers who very understandably
Do not want to be told under compulsion by a school district that their teenager, who is not statistically vulnerable to dire effects of the virus, that that teenager has to get an experimental jab in their arm simply for the right to go to school or at least to go to school without wearing a mask.
steve bannon
Okay, we've got from the Children's Health Defense, we've got Stephanie Lucrecio and Amy Vilello.
Amy, Stephanie, thank you very much for joining us.
Stephanie, let me start with you.
You guys are calling for direct action.
Are you calling for a nationwide strike of mothers?
And why are you calling it?
What's the purpose and what do you hope to accomplish?
unidentified
So we are calling for mothers to be the people who are Making their kids their priority.
So Walkout Week, The Parents Rising, is about peaceful non-compliance for parents who are fed up, myself included, with these ridiculous, nonsensical mandates to stand against them by keeping their kids home the week of September 13th.
We're encouraging anybody who is having issues with this to pull their children out in peaceful non-compliance and to organize in their communities to discover the power of homeschooling.
steve bannon
Amy, let me ask you, what is it, I mean, is it the mask mandates?
Is it the potential for the vaccines?
And if the kids don't get them, they gotta sit in the corner, they gotta be othered?
I mean, what is the principal beef?
We understand there's a lot of conflicting information, different school districts have things, governors are trying to get involved, you're getting conflicting guidance from CDC and the White House, but at the end of the day, Amy, what is the beef of the American mother.
And why do you think you need to take such dramatic action of actually basically calling for a nationwide strike against the schools?
unidentified
The fact is, is that as parents, we do not co-parent with the government.
You know, we are the ones in charge of our families, our children, and should have every right to raise them in a way that we know is safe, to keep them healthy, and to keep them protected.
And there's an abundance of evidence out there now.
We know the masks are harmful.
We know that they don't work.
We know they're ineffective.
And parents everywhere should have that right to send their children to school without masks.
And in many states and many districts, that is just not happening.
In addition to that, you have parents everywhere worried about the potential for the vaccine mandate for this experimental injection that is currently harming and killing people.
If you just look at our government-funded database, the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System, We have over 13,000 deaths reported already and over 600,000 serious adverse reactions.
So parents everywhere have a concern and they don't want the government telling them how to raise their children and telling them what their children can do with their body.
steve cortes
And Amy, it's Steve Cortez here.
You know, I want to ask you about this point too.
Isn't it possible to be totally pro-vaccine but still be against the mandate?
I mean, in other words, and I know there are some parents out there who are very much anti-vax and I understand some of their arguments.
I myself am not anti-vax.
But my point is, can't you be pro-vaccine and at the same time say it is totally wrong to have a mandate upon children and parents?
unidentified
Absolutely.
There are parents everywhere who may not comply and do the whole schedule, and this one is incredibly concerning.
And, you know, what has happened to, you know, my body, my choice?
Why is that all of a sudden thrown out the window, you know, given what's happening right now?
Parents should have the right to decline them.
steve bannon
Stephanie, let me ask you, is that, have you gone through enough, I mean, I tell you the school board, it just seems, it's what's happening in France, and it seems like kind of extreme action, maybe it's called for, but have you guys gone through all the hoops now and you just said, hey, we've had enough, they're not listening to us, they're blowing us off, we feel we need to take direct action, we feel we need to get our kids out of school and make a statement on a nationwide basis, is that it?
unidentified
Well, yeah, we've been engaged in this fight for medical freedom and parental choice for quite a while.
Obviously, the pandemic and COVID has escalated this fight for parents because it's just growing every day with the requirements they're trying to enforce on our children.
And the truth is, you know, like Amy said, we don't co-parent with the governor.
We don't co-parent with Dr. Fauci.
We don't co-parent with the Board of Education.
And we're seeing parents storm these BOE meetings with passionate, scientifically-based data and facts to show why these mandates are not only ineffective, but they're actually harming our children.
And we're being met with just blatant opposition and not making any changes based on parents' feedback.
So yeah, at this point, I think taking some really coordinated, unified action is what exactly is necessary to make change.
steve bannon
Okay, we're going to have you guys in the room for this.
Amy, can you give us what site can people go to?
How can they find out about it?
What's the information?
We've got about a minute.
Walk through resources people can look to right now to start to get this on the calendar.
unidentified
Absolutely.
You can visit us at ChildrensHealthDefense.org and take a look at Walkout Week.
We're going to have a pledge there for parents for them to commit to their participation to understand what this is about.
And really, all we're trying to do is provide tools and resources for parents to know that they do have a choice.
And, you know, many parents feel like their backs are up against the wall.
They don't know what to do.
We want them to actually explore homeschooling that week, and we'll provide resources to do that so that parents realize, you know, you're in control of your child's health and there are other alternative education methods out there.
steve bannon
Amy, Stephanie, thank you very much.
This is a populous uprising.
I tell you, when the mothers of America start to get engaged, that's when things are going to change.
Trust me.
This is a big run-up to this.
13th September, the entire week, we're going to be covering it non-stop.
I want to thank you, too.
The first of hopefully many visits here to the War Room.
Really honored to have you on.
unidentified
Thank you for having us.
steve bannon
You know, Cortez, guys talk, women act.
Biden has no worthy idea of vouching these guys.
steve cortes
Once you've gotten the moms activated, look out, right?
I mean, an army of moms who are committed to protecting their children, that is a powerful force in society.
steve bannon
I said it.
It was the current race theory, then the mask, the vaccines, game changer.
They're going to be all in on this.
Short commercial break.
Cortez, we'll be back in a moment in the War Room.
unidentified
Pandemic with Stephen K Banham.
The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.
War Room.
Pandemic.
Here's your host Stephen K Banham.
steve bannon
Okay, we got a lot to go through and not much time.
Tomorrow, the speech in Alabama.
Getter's going to be doing all kind of special content around that.
We're going to be doing tomorrow morning from 10 to 11.
We've got Dr. Malone.
We've got Dr. Homer, Dr. Tyson, Dr. Lee.
We're talking vaccines, right?
What's the reality?
What it means for you?
What it means for your children?
We're also going to be talking about Afghanistan.
It's going to be packed.
steve cortes
Steve, by the way, do you know how fire that Alabama rally is going to be, considering what Joe Biden is going through and what he's putting the country through?
steve bannon
He starts the week, Trump starts the week by calling for his resignation.
That's never happened, and this is before this week.
You know, tomorrow is going to be fire, do you agree?
steve cortes
It's going to be an absolute fire rally.
unidentified
Yes.
steve bannon
And hold it, Mike Lindell's the opening act.
He's one of the opening acts.
You got Mo Brooks.
Mo Brooks had a good week.
Mo Brooks is going to be there.
This is going to be, they're talking, I don't know, 30, 40, 50,000 people in Alabama.
It's going to be crazy.
And President Trump is going to give, I think, very serious remarks tomorrow.
It's not going to be your typical rally because of what's happened.
You know, he came out today and said this week will live in infamy for the United States.
President Trump's taking this very, very, very seriously.
I think President Trump's also got a couple, three comments about what's going on in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
He's spending a lot of time on that.
Getter's going to be all over it.
Make sure you go to Getter.
Make sure you go to MyPillow.
Promo code Worm.
Okay.
We pride ourselves on tomorrow's news today.
That's where we talk about things like pandemic months, months, months, sometimes years in advance.
And we've said in Signal Not Noise, the most important thing besides rewinding and destroying globalism, And the globalization, the party of Davos, the global elites, because we're nationalists, we're populists, to get our country back and to make it a place that's a paradise for middle class and working people, okay?
Actually, more important than that is this thing of transhumanism because we're hurtling towards a point driven by science and technology that's out of control and nobody supervising it that's going to lead to this thing called the singularity.
On the other side of that is what they call transhumanism or the post-homo sapien.
And people say, Bannon, your hair is already on fire.
So we hired Joe Allen.
He's done terrific.
But today on Drudge, The lead stories are all about Tesla, these robots, and how far down they are.
People don't understand.
They're advanced chip design, robotics, artificial intelligence.
This thing is converging in with biotechnology.
That's why you have the mRNA.
So, Cortez, you're sitting there worried about, you know, 11% wage increases for blue-collar folks.
How do you see that today?
Give me your thoughts.
steve cortes
No, listen, so if you're right with your prognostications, and I think you are, this is just another reason to be super concerned about wages.
And it's another reason, I believe, why we need to have, even for legal migration to the United States, I think we need to have a moratorium.
steve bannon
I think this is a time for a lot of reasons, including... On Afghanistan refugees that fought with us?
steve cortes
On everyone, but for those Afghan refugees, listen, if there are brave, and there are a lot of brave people who helped us over there, we do owe them something.
We do not owe them a ticket to the United States.
They should stay in region.
We have bases all over the place.
We have allies, or supposed allies, all over the place.
steve bannon
Qatar said, hey, at 10,000, I got enough.
Remember, they stopped the flights earlier.
I got enough.
I don't think 10,000 is going to be enough.
steve cortes
And by the way, looking at the experience of Europe with Afghani migrants, the idea of 100,000 Afghani migrants coming to the United States, no way.
Not a smart idea.
steve bannon
I want to bring up a point.
When President Trump got there, the biggest problem we had was blue on green.
These are highly vetted, top military guys in the most secure compounds shooting guys in the back.
Just saying those facts.
I want to bring in Joe Allen very quickly.
Joe, give us a quick summary.
You're writing a piece up.
We're going to put it on war.org.
It's on your site right now.
But when you see Drudge all day, he's got basically, there's not going to be any human work.
All the work's going to be taken over by robots.
There's nothing for mankind to do.
Give us your summary, sir.
joe allen
Yes, sir.
So thank you for having me.
And I think what we're seeing is a tiny, tiny part of a much broader picture.
We're seeing unfold before our eyes a civilizational transformation in which artificial intelligence is anticipated to rapidly exceed human intelligence, in which human beings are going to be expected to hybridize with machines in order to keep up with that advance, and in which all of the sorts of day-to-day work that we did traditionally as human beings going back 10,000 years or 150,000 years, depending on how you look at it, this is all
Expected to be swept away.
So this Tesla bot that Elon Musk announced yesterday at the AI Day, the Tesla bot is intended to take over dangerous, repetitive, and boring jobs.
And I don't know anyone who doesn't want to at least do fewer tasks that entail danger, boredom, and repetition.
At the same time, I think it's undoubtedly emblematic of the direction, the general trajectory that we're going towards.
Predicted as far back as 1920 by Karel Capek in his Rossum's Universal Robots, when he coined the term robot, in which human beings, regular human beings, the populists, the working class, human beings are replaced by humanoids, automated humanoids, and our value plummets to zero While our new neighbors, who never die, come to replace us.
Now you can see a more detailed write-up of this at my site, joebot.xyz, or my social media, Gitter, Twitter.
And Gab, JoeBotXYZ, but it's absolutely astounding the, I think, the audacity that these people have in celebrating what ultimately amounts to the eradication of the roles and the traditions that have heretofore brought us to where we're at.
steve bannon
Joe, thank you very much.
We're going to have you back on tomorrow to drill down.
This is why we've got Joe as a major contributor now to War Room.
This topic is so serious.
This is transformational.
steve cortes
Right.
You know, and one of the reasons, you know, it's interesting what Joe mentioned there.
One of the reasons that these people are willing to just effectively try to replace regular working class folks, regular human beings, is because they're godless.
It's because, you know, this is atheistic, secular humanism on steroids, right?
Taken to its ultimate conclusion.
But let me ask you this, Steve.
What's the policy response then?
So what should we be doing?
steve bannon
Well, I'm a Luddite.
First off, I want everyone in the audience to embrace this.
It's your tax dollars, because the government, DARPA does a lot of this, plus, you know, it's your pension fund money.
Once again, the tragedy here, the Greek tragedy part of this, is that the deplorables paid for it.
Their pension funds, no, their pension funds, right, drove this, and their tax dollars.
So, by their own hard work, And what they were able to save up was used actually to destroy the working class and middle class of this country.
You saw it first in globalization.
The second one, transhumanism, is going to be to the tenth power what that is.
unidentified
Right.
steve bannon
Because now they're going to sweep it all away.
Nine o'clock tonight.
Newsmax TV, we're going to have a bigger drill down.
You're saying Joe Biden, the worst month of any president in the history of the republic, you're going to lay it out tonight.
steve cortes
Yes, and I will give my reasons why, and I will explain why so many Americans have buyer's remorse over Joe Biden.
steve bannon
Including the ephemeral 81 mayor, we can't find them.
That's why he's got no floor to this.
Okay, tomorrow, another, this is going to be, we're going to have Dr. Malone, we're back with vaccines, we're going to have reports from Afghanistan, we're going to be talking about the economy, we're talking about the debt ceiling, talking about all of it.
Also, the mother's revolt in this country.
See you tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
in the War Room, and then we're going to talk about President Trump's going to give an incredible speech tomorrow at this rally in Alabama for Mo Brooks.
Export Selection
