| I'm happy to tell you what's going on in France. | ||
| As you can see, the images I put together, a little montage of the demonstrations that took place last Saturday on July 31st. | ||
| You say the French have a history of being passive. | ||
| Well, I can tell you at the moment about half of France. | ||
| Is succumbing to the measures that we're facing at the moment and the other half is resisting. | ||
| So the people that you see in the streets are a mix of French citizens. | ||
| Some have been vaccinated, some have not, but they're all out there fighting for freedom, which is at the heart of all of these measures. | ||
| They're infringing our basic human rights that they refuse to see them trampled. | ||
| So the outpouring of humanity into the streets And I don't know if you have heard, just one hour ago the Constitutional Council announced its verdict on whether or not these new health measures are even constitutional. And the crowds are gathering as we speak right in front of what's called Pari Royale, which is right near where the Constitutional Council is. If I can interrupt for a second. | ||

| So as a healthy individual, according to the Constitutional Council, I must now, if I want to go have a drink with my friends in a bar, sit outside on a terrace in Paris at a cafe, I'm going to have to show proof of | ||
| One of three things that I have been vaccinated with two doses for at least two weeks that I have a PCR test that's less than 48 hours old proving that I don't have COVID-19 Or, this is my favorite, I have to prove test results that are positive, showing that I have the antibodies, which means I got the COVID and I survived. | ||
| All of those things, one of those three things, and in some cases, if you're vaccinated, you may still have to show a PCR test result just to go have a pizza with my friends or to go visit someone who might be sick in the hospital because they're restricting access to the citizens. | ||
| To go into everyday places. | ||
| This is all coming here to the United States. | ||

| This is not a situation where our Navy is ready to defend the United States and our interests on the seas. | ||
| The PLAN, the People's Liberation Army Navy of China, knows this. | ||
