| I want to talk very quickly about Fauci, Fauci's involvement, this thing of gain-of-function experiments, NIH, and were they the funding source? | ||
| And if he's the funding source, shouldn't he be the guy that's overseeing this stuff that was happening in the Wuhan lab? | ||

| So Fauci He was the one pushing for gain-of-function research in China, for the Chinese, not for the Americans. | ||

| How did they exacerbate this in the last two weeks of January and the first two weeks of February of 2020 that made this explode to a global pandemic quickly? | ||

| They shut that country down tight. | ||
| But they also left their airports open for international flights. | ||
| And what effectively they did over a 60-day period was, first, they allowed hundreds of thousands of Chinese nationals to fly around to places like Milan and New York and everywhere in between. | ||
| To effectively seed and spread the virus. | ||
| Essentially, they guaranteed there would be a global pandemic simply by that action alone. | ||
| Now, we know that they knew that there was going to be a pandemic because the other thing they were doing during those 60 days was vacuuming up all... This is murder. | ||
| They vacuumed up all the personal protective equipment. | ||
| Now, please understand this. | ||
| China is the factory floor of the world. | ||
| Generally, they are a net exporter big time. | ||

| So when The first responders and the frontline health care workers in Milan and New York and Chicago and New Orleans, there simply wasn't enough. | ||
| There was a scarcity. | ||
| And then they had the nerve to try to sell it back to us at seven times the price. | ||

| It's like February 9th. | ||

| The N95 is the one that you need for the health care workers because the N95 is basically a number that says what your filtration is and that's like the gold standard. | ||

| We know that China did that, and now, once the pandemic got that genie out of the bottle, we've also seen them exploit the pandemic for geopolitical purposes, taking Hong Kong, basically trying to advance their geopolitical agenda by giving PPE to some countries, sometimes where they just bought it from to begin with. | ||
| I mean, it's heinous stuff. | ||
| The fact that the CNN, MSNBC, John Berman, Morning Joe, these people, the fact that they do not talk about this. | ||
| Here's something funny for you. | ||
| They'll talk about now the Brazilian strain of the virus, the South African strain of the virus, and the UK strain of the virus, yet they still won't refer to this as the CCP Wuhan virus. | ||
| This is the most successful Pearl Harbor attack that's never been covered by the press in history. | ||
| You're saying even if it leaked out, because Dr. Yan and others, Miles Guo, they think it absolutely sent out, but I'm from the leaked out, inadvertently, because of their incompetence. | ||

| Could you walk us through what this Pew study says about the awakening of the American people to the threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party and China as long as it's controlled by them? | ||

| You know, a Pew study came out a couple of days ago, last Thursday, and the findings are very stunning. | ||
| The awakening of the American people is underway, it's in full swing. | ||
| Nine of ten Americans view China as a competitor or enemy, and nearly half believe that the United States should seek to limit China's power. | ||
| Some other findings. | ||
| 67% of Americans have, in quotes, cold feelings towards China on a feeling thermometer. | ||
| A couple of years ago, it was 46%. | ||
| It's up by about 21 percentage points in two and a half years. | ||
| And around two thirds of Americans describe economic relations between America and China as somewhat or very bad. | ||
| And here's some other things. | ||
| You know, I think Steve, Peter, a lot of the populist conservative Republicans have seen the threat of the Communist Party of China for years, but it's incredible how rank-and-file Democratic voters, even though they're not explicitly saying so, have Are seeing the threats from the Communist Party. | ||
| For example, when it comes to dealing with global climate change, at least 79% of Americans think China is doing a very bad job. | ||
| And 85% of Republicans and 67% of Democrats think protecting jobs of American workers should be a priority, like a top priority. | ||
| And 62% of Republicans and 67% of Democrats believe in preventing the spread of weapons of mass destruction. | ||
| And, you know, here's a couple of other interesting findings. | ||
| 90% of American adults think that the Chinese government does not respect the personal freedoms of its people. | ||
| And when asked whether America should prioritize economic relations with China or promote human rights in China, 70% of Americans choose human rights. | ||
| Even if it potentially harms economic relations. | ||
| And Steve, Peter, here's some what I call cognitive dissonance. | ||
| You know, when the Democrats were surveyed, 80% of Democrats believe that reducing spread of infectious diseases should be a top US priority. | ||
| And 70% of Democrats believe dealing with global climate change should be a priority. | ||
| And, you know, Peter is a legend and a visionary, and back in 2006 in his book, Death by China, he had put forth the risk posed by, you know, zoonotic viruses, viruses with jump From other animal species to humans and much of them emanating from China. | ||
| So if Democrats think that spreading infectious diseases or reducing the spread of infectious diseases is a priority, I mean, all roads lead back to China. | ||
| And same thing with dealing with climate change. | ||
| You know, President Trump pulled out of the Paris Climate Accord and President Biden rejoined. | ||
| But if you look in the last year, Steve and Peter, China has added 15 Hoover dams worth of energy capacity in coal. | ||
| So, I mean, there's a big cognitive dissonance between the Democratic Party's priority to reduce or deal with climate change and the Chinese Communist Party just subverting everything with impunity. | ||
| And couple of final things to close out and then we can have a discussion is When it comes to dealing with China, only about half of Americans have confidence that President Biden will be able to deal effectively with China, even though about 67% of them have confidence in him to improve relationship with America's allies. | ||
| So, and the last thing, this is back to Xi, Only 15% of Americans have confidence that General Secretary Xi Jinping will do the right thing regarding global affairs. | ||
| So my takeaway from all of this is, you know, the populist movement gets stronger by the day. | ||
| And if anyone's tested positive for globalism, populism is a vaccine. | ||
| Dave, hang on for once, that's fantastic. | ||
| I want to turn to Peter. | ||
| Since you've been laboring in this vineyard for many decades, what is it that Dave just walked through, particularly the tectonic plate shift you're seeing now, what does that tell you? | ||
| Tells us that even as of this day that the elites in this country are far removed from the populists and the nationalists and just Main Street America. | ||
| Well grab me there and Dave, you kind of buried the lead kind of two-thirds into your statistics, was the issue about jobs. | ||
| I mean, to me, that was what it was all about. | ||
| I think that, historically, one of the top achievements, perhaps the top achievement of the Trump administration, was to transform the thinking about communist china uh... dramatically uh... with the american people to basically move away from the globalist elite economic engagement kumbaya ship our jobs offshore view of the world | ||
| To, I think Dave, you said something like over 90% now see China as some kind of strategic threat or enemy. | ||
| That's a profound, that's a profound change because it leads to policy changes. | ||
| Perhaps, that's an open question. | ||

| Without the mainstream media really making this a top issue, this is people's lived experience in the Midwest. | ||

| Why should someone in Wichita, Kansas or Wauwatosa, Wisconsin lose their jobs because of some scientist futz around with bad viruses in Wuhan? | ||
| So this is the great issue of our time. | ||
| For example, a tree in America does not rely on the root and soil system of China. | ||
| So why should An American citizen, their livelihood, and even their life, rely on what's happening halfway around the world. | ||
| So, when you look at, you know, Peter's great point, you know, this leads to a profound policy shift. | ||
| For me, the no-brainer issue which will unite large numbers of Americans, Republicans, Democrats, people of all political persuasions, Is a issue of drugs and food. | ||
| So food and drug safety can be a big uniting issue. | ||
| I mean, Peter mentioned the point last year, where China hoovered up PPE, as it led flights from China all over the world. | ||
| I mean, and then one of the most gripping images for me last year in April was you had half a million dollar ER surgeons paid half a million dollars in New York who were forced to put on a grocery bag or a garbage bag on their face because we lack the capability to produce PPE and that needs to change. | ||
| And same with the raw materials for drugs. | ||
| 80 to 100% of raw materials come from Asia, most of it from China. | ||
| So the wealthiest Americans across the political spectrum, across the business spectrum can't guarantee that the drugs they're taking are safe. | ||
