| You and your team, which is spectacular, are sitting there watching this Lola Palazzo on TV, this TV extravaganza, which is quite effective because it's untethered for fact, it's untethered with logic, it's made by, you can tell, TV people, but it's wash, rinse, repeat, wash, rinse, repeat. | ||
| What did you find? | ||
| You found a pretty big scoop. | ||
| Congressmen sitting there putting up information that's patently false. | ||
| Is that correct, sir? | ||
| Yeah, it is correct. | ||
| Eric Swalwell, who two or three years ago was selling us the Russia collusion story that fell apart when the facts finally came out, was selling us another good one yesterday. | ||
| So we noticed he put these two tweets up of two pro-Trump women who were coming to Washington for the rally and they were both mentioning, and he said, they were talking about bringing the cavalry to Washington. | ||
| Bringing the cavalry to Washington is a military term. | ||
| A cavalry is a military brigade that comes in on horse. | ||
| We've known that. | ||
| There's only one problem. | ||
| Nobody noticed it in the trial. | ||
| Eric Swalwell clearly didn't have his dictionary nearby, but we noticed that the word wasn't cavalry. | ||
| It was Calvary, as in the hill where Jesus died, the location of the crucifixion. | ||
| Uh, uh, Webster calls Calvary, you know, a public display of the crucifixion. | ||
| So he completely misinterpreted these tweets. | ||
| So we reached out. | ||
| I'm so, I'm so, I'm so shocked. | ||
| I'm so shocked that Democrat congressmen and their staffs missed that. | ||
| I'm so shocked. | ||
| They didn't see, they didn't know the difference. | ||
| They couldn't check the Bible. | ||
| They could have checked the dictionary. | ||
| They didn't check either, pretty clearly. | ||
| But here's the thing. | ||
| We reached out to the woman and said, what did you mean by this? | ||
| And she said, I was talking about a prayer meeting. | ||
| We had a prayer meeting January 5th in Washington. | ||
| And I was talking about Calvary, Jesus, the crucifixion. | ||
| We were all going to pray. | ||
| I said, did you even go to the Capitol? | ||
| Nope, I wasn't at the Capitol on January 6th. | ||
| We did our prayer thing on the 5th. | ||
| Do you have any witnesses? | ||
| She brought her pastor on, Brian Gibson. | ||
| He said, listen, I was there when she tweeted it. | ||
| I said, are you using the right word? | ||
| He said, yeah, I mean, Jesus, we're going to have a prayer meeting in Washington. | ||
| He said, okay, good. | ||
| Good use of the word. | ||
| No one, not a single impeachment manager, reached out to this woman before using her tweet. | ||
| After he did this yesterday, after Swalwell did this, this woman started to get death threats. | ||
| She had to go into hiding. | ||
| She says she just hired a security firm to protect her because people are trying to go out and harm her now because Eric Swalwell made her famous. | ||
| With false words. | ||
| And words matter, right? | ||
| The number one rule as a prosecutor is never ask a question at a trial you don't know the answer to. | ||
| Never bring in a witness that you don't know what they're going to say. | ||
| He didn't do any of his homework. | ||
| In many ways, I was talking to some lawyers and senators who just broke from the trial and they said, this is like the glove doesn't fit moment in the OJ Simpson trial. | ||
| Major blunder. | ||
| It's going to come boomeranging around probably tomorrow when the Trump defense team gets their chance to tell their side of the story. | ||
| Do you think, John, you do this for a living, you're the pro's pro, obviously, do you think they care? | ||
| I mean, isn't so much of it super cuts that tie together things President Trump might have said a couple years ago? | ||
| I mean, today, actually, I think they rolled out Charlottesville, which Steve Cortez, you know, crushes on his thing and his reason that he was let go of CNN. | ||
| Aren't they just rolling out everything? | ||
| I mean, do you think Swallow and these guys, any of them care? | ||
| It's just, it's just a wash, rinse, repeat. | ||
| This is propaganda. | ||
| They've got broadcast TV. | ||
| This is why, you know, God bless, I love the conservative media guys, but you're just wrong in this. | ||
| You can't look the other way. | ||
| You can't dismiss it because they're on broadcast TV and they put it on a loop. | ||
| So if somebody comes in and watches a half hour, they're going to get the orange man bad, orange man dangerous, you know, orange man, Russian collusion, right? | ||
| Russian collusion all of it. | ||
| They bring up all the hits that go into the greatest hits. | ||
| So yeah, how effective you think they've been? | ||
| Well, let's just say this. | ||
| Within a half hour of my story coming out, I heard from jurors. | ||
| That's who matters, right? | ||
| The Senate jurors right now. | ||
| This is supposed to be a real proceeding. | ||
| Obviously, it's not a real proceeding. | ||
| There's no evidence. | ||
| There's not even an enforcement of accuracy. | ||
| But it does affect the jurors. | ||
| And some of the senators reached out to me, said, I can't believe this. | ||
| This is like, you know, how stupid do you have to be? | ||
| We're senators. | ||
| Could you at least get your words and facts right? | ||
| And so for the audience that matters for acquittal, because Donald Trump's going to be acquitted now twice, it looks from all my reporting, it does matter there. | ||
| And the matter of the people who are saying it, they didn't care if Russia collusion was true. | ||
| They didn't care that what the motives of Christopher Steele were or who was paying him. | ||
| They haven't cared about the truth for a long time. | ||
| But in this jury setting, it should matter more importantly to the American people. | ||
| This is a stop. | ||
| It's a small story that tells people we keep getting sold a bill of lies. | ||
| And at some point you got to hold them accountable. | ||
| John, I want to talk about starting tomorrow. | ||
| The President's defense comes up. | ||
| I think Jason Miller confirmed it. | ||
| For the two days, they're only going to take one and they're going to wrap it up. | ||
| Right. | ||
| Isn't the rule here, because you follow it, is to use up every second if you just got to repeat it and repeat it? | ||
| I mean, the Democrats never leave a second on the ground. | ||
| They take every possibility of getting on the media. | ||
| You've got a massive platform. | ||
| Even if you can just wrap it up, wouldn't you recommend to the President, I know he thinks very highly of you, you know him very well, wouldn't you recommend, hey, take the second day and just say it over again? | ||

| The Trump defense lawyers have been watching senators so bored they're reading their phones and doing other work. | ||
| Maybe the news media has been enamored by this and the TV audiences, though I don't get a sense these are drawing big large audiences, but they are reading the jury and the jury is so disinterested in this presentation. | ||
| Why? | ||
| Not a single witness was brought forth that said, I took Donald Trump's words to mean I should storm the Capitol. | ||
| Not a single witness. | ||
| They have not presented a single evidence of something that the Senators already know. | ||
| This attack was pre-planned by people, not by Donald Trump. | ||
| And third, they see errors like this. | ||
| I think the Trump team is reading the jury, which is the only thing that matters at the trial, and saying, you know what? | ||
| Why prolong this? | ||
| They have figured out this is a farce. | ||
| Let's get the President acquitted quickly, and then we can go and do all the media stuff we want. | ||
| We'll do a victory lap. | ||
| We're twice impeached, twice acquitted, twice innocent. | ||
| I think they're going to rest on that. | ||
| I think their bet is that the American, this is what they're telling me, the American people are tired of bogus impeachment, tired of dramatic emotional stories, absent of facts, and we're just going to let this go, because once acquitted, we're going to go on offense. | ||
| We'll have to see how it plays out tomorrow, but I'm hearing they're not even going to use up four hours. | ||
| Well, I will say that if that's their opinion, they're just as incompetent in that as they've been in this trial. | ||
| That is just dead wrong. | ||

| The effort to get the TransCanada Keystone Pipeline shut down cost 11,000 jobs with one stroke of a pen. | ||
| The $15 minimum wage, according to CBO nonpartisan, 1.4 million jobs erased. | ||
| Anthony Fauci every day gives us a different answer. | ||
| Double mask, don't mask, go on a cruise, go on a cruise, don't go on a cruise. | ||
| We need to hold all of these people accountable for their words, their actions, and then follow the money. | ||
| Everything in Washington has a moneyed interest. | ||
| There's somebody that wants the TransCanada pipeline shut down. | ||
| We're going to figure out who that is. | ||
| There's somebody that wants the $15 wage. | ||
| It isn't everyday Americans because our poll shows people are opposed to a $15 minimum wage hike right now. | ||
| So, we're going to follow the money, and where the money is, we're probably going to find a lot of scandals, a lot of quid pro quos. | ||
| You saw in the AFL-CIO leader Trumpka's comments this weekend, he thought he had a quid pro quo. | ||
| He was going to get Joe Biden elected, and he was going to get jobs, and he got stripped of 11,000 jobs right out of the bat. | ||
| That's where the story is. | ||
| Joe Biden is a retail politician. | ||
| There's money behind every decision. | ||
| Last thing, I want to go back to Fauci. | ||
| You guys have probably done one of the best jobs of categorizing Fauci's recommendations over time and how they've, you know, kind of, he's moved the goalpost. | ||
| How long do you think it's going to take and what policies do you see? | ||
| Is it vaccinations, opening the schools, the continued lockdowns, the masks? | ||
| Where do you think the Biden administration is going to sit there and go, this guy, everything the Trump guy said is absolutely correct. | ||
| This guy is radioactive. | ||
| He really doesn't know anything. | ||
| He's kind of a clown. | ||
| When do you think that happens? | ||
| Do you think it happens? | ||
| And what policy vertical should people really be focused on? | ||
| Yeah, you know, it's a great question. | ||
| I've been covering Fauci since the early 2000s when he was working for George W. Bush. | ||
| I did a whole story about how he put foster children at risk. | ||
| He took foster children and used them as drug guinea pigs in an AIDS drug treatment thing. | ||
| They couldn't get real parents to donate their children to this medical experiment, so he took children without parents, without wards protecting them, and he subjected them to a drug treatment. | ||
| And he was ultimately reprimanded for that. | ||
| There's many other things that happened. | ||
| Tony Fauci and his game have been known for a long time. | ||
| I think the more they let him talk, you know, Trump was smart and kind of reined him in so he didn't have mixed messaging. | ||
| I think the more they let them talk, the more they're getting confused by what he says every day. | ||
| I bet you by summer or fall, they'll be looking for a new director. | ||
| It's a very important agency overseas. | ||
| It's been badly run for a long time. | ||
| The more he talks, the more he confuses the American people. | ||
