And while Trump's Save America ads grip millions of eyes, Biden's base falls, yet Trump's continues to rise.

The soldiers dignifying Trump in the ad is by design.
Trump is deepening his base of military devotees, both troops and generals with their patriotic creeds.
They've all seen the stube screw up and view Trump as the true commander-in-chief.
You had got to the point where you felt it was safe enough, that you could have a withdrawal in such a way that you're leaving in place the pieces where the Afghan army and enough air support that they would be able to keep the peace, keep control, and keep the Taliban at bay.
You did make adjustments to your policy.
