		So Target is now removing certain pride items after they faced pushback and criticism.
		All of the items that are being removed are within the pride section.
		You should be taking a look at some of those pride items now.
		When you look at those items, the problem is that some customers pushing criticism, particular styles that they're outraged with.
		In particular, we see that there is a bathing suit that was sold in, quote, a tuck-friendly style.
		There has been particular outrage that the same style has been made for children in children's sizes.
		Target has told the Associated Press that that is not true.
		In a statement, Target telling Fox Business, quote, Since introducing this year's collection, we've experienced threats impacting our team members'sense of safety and well-being while at work.
		Given these volatile circumstances, we are making adjustments to our plans, including removing items at the center of the most controversial behavior.
		Our focus now is moving forward with our continuing commitment to the LGBTQIA plus community.
		This all follows reports from Fox Digital that Target made an emergency call to certain managers on Friday in some of their southern locations to move their pride year from the front of the store to the back of the store.
		There is outrage on their part.
		This year, it's just exponentially more than any other year.
		The Target insider continued, I think given the current situation with Bud Light, the company is terrified of a Bud Light situation.

		Target has been doing this and has been on board with this for a very, very long time.
		This is not anything new.
		And it's something that's annoying.

	Now, this is far worse than Bud Light, so Target deserves it worse than Bud Light, and we're going to get to Bud Light here in just a second.

		And also, how far away is it from Joanna and Chip Gaines' displays?
		This is my personal little conversation with a couple that my wife is obsessed with.

		Joanna and Chip Gaines are traditional Christians.

		They're insanely wealthy.
		They have a line called the Magnolia.
		It sells like houseware items and stuff.

		But I think Joanna is the one who wears the pants in the relationship.

		You thought Target was just a place to go buy Starbucks and get some knick-knack for your kid, some book back-to-school supplies, gallon of milk.
		Nope.
		No, no.
		They're going to weaponize your dollars against you and use them and launder them into something that you no longer believe.
		That's why the pushback needs to happen and must happen.
		Ladies and gentlemen, the Target boycott is already having an unbelievably profound effect.
		If conservative moms just stopped shopping at Target for like a month, you'd crash their stock.
		They'd never go back.
		If Joanna Gaines had bravery and just stood up and sent a tweet saying she disagreed with satanic items being sold next to hers, we'd win.

		When they decide Joe Biden is polling low enough and inconveniently enough, they'll swap him for Gavin Newsom, Hillary Clinton, or Michelle Obama.
		But Gavin Newsom is having a panic attack on Twitter this morning.
		CEO of Target, Brian Cornell, the guy you just heard.
		Blabbing about left-wing causes and using Target to sell them.
		He's selling out LBGPT alphabet community to extremists.
		This is a real profile on courage, Gavin Newsom says, from his lair, from the Joker's lair inside of a cave somewhere.
		This isn't just a couple of stores in the South.
		This is a systemic attack on the gay community happening across the country.

		And one of the rules that beer companies are supposed to follow is they're not supposed to market to kids.
		Remember the whole Joe the Camel thing?

		Dylan Mulvaney, a massive percentage of Dylan Mulvaney's audience are kids.
		And Budweiser was trying, I believe, with this ill-fated marketing attempt to target teenagers.

		There's another video where Dylan Mulvaney is singing, My name is Eloise and I am six.
		There's another one where Dylan Mulvaney is shopping for Barbie dolls.
		These are clearly things aimed at teenagers and even children younger than teenagers, which violates the rules.
		And so we're calling on the Beer Institute to investigate the degree to which Anheuser-Busch knowingly was marketing to children in going down this road.

		I assume there's going to be a video element to this as well, but this is a wild move by a presidential candidate.
		Now we're going to get into what I believe about DeSantis versus Trump here in just a second.
		But I'll just begin by saying, good, this will put a dagger into the heart of the corporate press more than any other specific thing.
		What Elon Musk is doing on Twitter is he is unleashing citizen journalism, and that is the greatest existential threat to corporate hegemony over what they believe facts and narratives are.
		Those facts and narratives are, of course, aligned against you.
		They are untrue.
		They are fake and false.
		And the reason why a Bud Light boycott or a Target boycott works is because we have platforms like Twitter where you can tell the truth.
		And you can evaporate the lies.
		And so it is a powerful and important thing that Ron DeSantis is doing this.

		In 2016, the best thing to ever happen to Donald Trump was a crowded primary that got bloody, that got brutal, that sharpened Donald Trump into a man who could take on and ultimately defeat Hillary Clinton.
		You should be desirous of this.
		It makes Donald Trump a better candidate.
		Donald Trump in the arena, in the war zone, is the candidate that wins.
		That's the candidate that makes all the news when he goes on CNN.
		Donald Trump does a million interviews.
		A lot of them don't make huge news.
		When Donald Trump walks into CNN and has somebody standing athwart him and challenging him, well then that's when Donald Trump really truly shines.
		And so you shouldn't, there is no divine right to rule in America.
		It should be a challenge every single time.
		And what Democrats are doing right now are sabotaging their systems.
		Joe Biden's not even going to go to Iowa or New Hampshire.
		They're sabotaging their electoral system in order to try and effectively rig it.
		For their preferred candidate.

		He's getting involved.
		So I'm like, OK, are you saying that Joe Biden should be in a Twitter space with Elon Musk?
		Because I'm sure Elon would be down for it.
		Now the onus is on Joe Biden, because actually a former Trump supporter.
		And now Democrat said, oh, I'd like to see this as well.
		And Elon said, happy to do it.
		So now the onus is on Joe Biden and all of the Democrats have to now cheer him on and say, OK, get on a Twitter space.
		So could you picture, you know, Joe Biden can't answer a question without a note card.
		Now he's going to be, number one, figuring out Twitter.
		Number two, trying to figure out the Twitter space.
		And then number three, taking unscripted questions from Twitter users.
		I don't imagine that would go well for him.
		And then another user quoted one of my tweets and asked if they would do it with Trump or RFK and then also Biden.
		And Elon had also said that he would hold one with RFK or Trump or Biden.
		Again, he reconfirmed that.
		So he says, okay, so that kind of eliminates all the questions that people are having if he was favoring a certain candidate, if this would be an unfair advantage, because he's open to the idea of having conversations with all of the major candidates.

		Elon Musk has addressed Trump through meme.
		He's addressed Trump through interview.

		Elon Musk really wants Donald Trump back on Twitter.

		And a lot of Twitter employees I spoke to at HQ, that was the number one question because they see the content I post.

		And I'm like, it seems like everyone wants him back on.
		And I think one of the best parts about DeSantis announcing on Twitter is this might just be the thing to force Trump's hand to rejoin the platform.
		Because he wants a competitive primary.
		And now it's basically FOMO, fear of missing out.
		Now, you know, DeSantis is on Twitter.
		So it's going to be in Trump's head saying, OK, I have to get back on Twitter now.
		So I think this is going to force his hand.
		And I think we'll see him back in the next month or so.
benny johnson ▲ ● ▼		So I want to get to content moderation and the new Twitter CEO, but I would like to pin down an important point here.
		And whether you're a Trump fan or a DeSantis fan, I think that's...
		I made myself pretty clear on what I believe.
		I really believe in the Kaiju fighting Godzilla kind of thing.
		I think that's valuable.
		That's because I'm from Iowa, and I've seen Mike Huckabee, for instance, pull it out against Mitt Romney.
		Mitt Romney was supposed to win in 2012, and then Mike Huckabee comes from behind.
		There's value in fighting.
		There's value in messaging.
		There's value in all this for everyone, and the best for our party.
		Rules of the jungle.
		Politics is pain.
		So putting all that aside, and putting the actual candidates aside, What Elon Musk is doing here is, I mean, this is a murder.
		This is a cold-blooded murder of the corporate press.
		There is not a single network, MSNBC, there's not a single network, Al Jazeera, any, I don't know, what's the most left-wing network?
		They would take Ron DeSantis' announcement, every one of them would give Ron DeSantis an hour live to do his announcement and say whatever he wanted to say.
		So they had the pick of the media spectrum.
		And they said, Twitter.
		That is huge.

		Twitter is the media now.
		And, you know, they're forcing them to, you know, Instead of the reverse, getting their news from Twitter, like tweets and stuff, and then broadcasting it, all of these media companies are now going to have to cover Twitter as the primary source for where they are getting the news.

		Never in our history have we seen a time where the citizen journalists and people on Twitter actually have the power.
		Nobody could...
		Get the DeSantis interview, I guess.
		And he chose Twitter.
		So, you know, it really it's a night and day from 2020 when, you know, Republican candidates were actively being suppressed on the platform.
		And, you know, we saw another piece from The Atlantic.

		So she's actually going to be on a Twitter space.
		I'm not sure the date, but that's the thing I like about Twitter is they're very transparent.
		They're like, OK, people are freaking out over this.
		I'm going to hold a Twitter space and call people up to the stage and you guys can ask her questions.
		They did similar.
		Elon did a couple spaces in the beginning, like when people had questions about the algorithm and like changes to everything.
		So he was actually asked about this yesterday at the Wall Street Journal Summit as well, about what her role would be about content moderation or advertising.
		And here's what he had to say.

		So, but the general principle is do whatever we can to enable free and open communications between people, provided they're not, like I said, breaking the law.

		If anyone has been in Twitter jail, it's when you're locked out of Twitter for 12 hours.
		So instead of that, and like, you know, we've as a team have been, you know, locked out on accident.
		And instead of that, you'll be able to appeal it, but you won't be locked out of your account.
		So you yourself can make a statement and say, OK, I think Twitter made a mistake here and still be tweeting from the account and then they'll reverse it.
		But that's, and I talked to, I mentioned that to Elon as well, and he said, I want to even be, you know, careful that that doesn't get too restrictive.
		But that's the direction they're going in.
		Instead of, you know, permanent suspensions and even temporary suspensions, they want to take, like, tweet-level actions, so it's not going to suppress accounts.
		But the reason that it's still necessary is, you know, calls to violence or whatever, they want those.
		Off the platform as soon as possible.
		So that's why some action is still necessary.

		Because when you defund the police, and when you turn cities into war zones, you actually kill black lives.
		And I haven't seen Patrice Kalures or any of these people leaving their all-white mansion-gated neighborhoods to go into the city blocks where I used to live in Washington, D.C. Where black people, because of the BLM riots, were being killed on my doorstep.
		Having their houses burned down.
		Having their dogs killed.
		I have it all on my ring camera.
		Freaking play it on the show every once in a while.
		That is making black lives hell.
		And that's what BLM succeeded at.
		These people are frauds.
		They deserve to be investigated fully by the IRS, and we hope that that happens.
