Thank you.
We are live, live, live here on a Friday night and as always we are so thankful for each and every one of you that is going to be a part of this broadcast this evening.
We appreciate you so very much.
A big welcome.
To all of our new listeners, we're getting a lot of new listeners here on FOJC Radio.
And welcome to the Underground Church YouTube channel here on FOJC. Want to do a little mail call?
And I want to give a shout out to Adam and Stephanie.
We see you there.
Yes, we do.
Glad you're in the house tonight, Adam and Stephanie.
And also, we want to do a little mail call here.
And we heard this week from Melanie in Indiana.
And for some reason, Melanie, Sister Dawn, is saying awful nice things about you.
Yes, she is.
We heard from Simcy and Terry in Pennsylvania, Carl in Minnesota, James in Ohio, Richard in Alabama, Stacey in Texas, Wendy in Nevada, Dennis and Diane in Ohio, And Omar in Kentucky.
And Omar wrote that he would like for us to do a broadcast on the new moon.
Well, Omar, this Sunday night on Sunday Night Live, Brian Reese and I, we're going to be talking about the new moon, the Philadelphia Experiment, time warps, alien wormholes, Wooly boogers and tadpoles.
We're going to have it all on the table this Sunday night, so tune in this Sunday night for FOJC Radio Sunday Night Live.
We heard here a little note from Rich and Mickey, and once again, thanks to all of you that write.
I really enjoy reading the letters, and I think since I mentioned that, I'll give the address.
If you would like to write to me and Donna here at FOJC Radio, you can do that at Followers of Jesus Christ, Post Office Box 671, Tell City, Indiana, 47586. And we love hearing from you.
A letter here from Rich and Mickey, and it says this, The Lord just keeps blessing me more and more, answering my prayers and molding me into the FOJC I was meant to be.
I still catch every midnight ride that I can, and I really like the new shows with the fella from Kentucky with the 3D glasses.
His name escapes me at the moment.
And Dan B. Well, Rich and Mickey, let me introduce you to that fella from Kentucky with the 3D glasses, Mr. Brian Reese himself.
Brian, come on and introduce yourself to Rich and Mickey and everybody.
Hello, everybody.
I didn't know I was going to be impromptu coming in here abruptly into the program tonight, but welcome to FOJC Radio, Friday Night Live with David Carrico.
These are not 3D glasses.
A lot of people think I'm incognito and think I'm just putting up a front or for entertainment, but it's not for entertainment.
I've spoken about it, I don't know, several times.
I try not to, you know, drag it on too much, but speaking of, if there's a person with a letter...
I have vision issues.
I actually had an accident and these are not for entertainment purposes.
These are from Actually, the eye doctor.
So if that clarifies or, you know, kind of the rumors or whatnot, maybe that'll help with the confusion.
But I appreciate the compliment that you like the content and everything that I put out.
So I appreciate the compliment.
But these are not just for entertainment purposes.
These are literally for vision issues.
So a big shout out to you all.
Thank you all so much.
And Brother David, thanks for plugging me in here at the beginning.
Well, and I just want to say that we love that fellow from Kentucky with the 3D glasses.
Mr. Brian Reese is awesome.
He can do anything when it comes to this stuff.
Just like that beautiful thumbnail on the broadcast tonight, Brian is just absolutely awesome.
And that's all we can say.
All right.
We heard from James in Ohio.
He says, thanks again, Brother Dave.
I have been brainwashed.
For over the years, with the millennial reign teaching and the rapture mess, it is always good to be reminded what Jesus said.
And James, I was too.
As most people in America, dispensationalism is so prevalent, and I think the term there that James used, brainwashing, is pretty accurate because when Jesus can say That everyone's resurrected at the same day and some man can say the resurrections are a thousand years apart and you follow some man instead of Jesus?
You're brainwashed.
Let's just call it like it is.
You're brainwashed.
And that's what we're about here on FOJC. We're going to follow Jesus and everyone else can follow whoever they want to follow.
But we've made up our mind who the man is that is the truth.
um very nice letter uh this is from terry and i'll just read a little bit so brother david i have a question i have this one particular friend who does not receive anything that i tell her If it does not line up with what she knows,
she loves the pagan holidays, and she believes that the Jewish people are God's chosen people, I explained to her that the born-again believers are now the Israel of God, showed her scripture, especially Matthew 21, 33-43, but she doesn't believe it.
I spent time with her today at a funeral for a friend's mother and she started telling me of a news report that five or six bombs had been heading for Israel and that God had stopped the bombs from killing any Jews.
She started telling me that God had protected them in order to make her point That they are his people.
I'm wondering, is God protecting them?
And thank you so much, Terry, for your letter and a lot of nice things to say there.
But that brought something most definitely to my mind in the Bible.
And if I can find my Bible here, here it is.
And it's in the book of Numbers.
In the book of Numbers, it's in the 22nd chapter, and verse 32 and 33. And it's the story of Balaam and his ass.
And it says in verse 32, And it
says right here that Balaam was perverse, yet God actually moved on that little animal to save Balaam's life.
And God is often and all the time merciful and gracious to people that don't deserve it.
God has been gracious to Israel.
God has been gracious to America.
But that does not mean that we deserved it and it does not mean that the judgment of God is not right around the corner as it was with Balaam and so it will be with America and with Israel if they do not turn.
And it also reminds me of another scripture in Deuteronomy 31 and 29. For I know that after my death, this is Moses speaking, ye will utterly corrupt yourselves and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you and evil will befall you in the latter days because ye will do evil in the sight of the Lord To provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
And here in the King James Bible, we have the prophecy that in the latter days, evil will befall Israel.
And because it is in the word of God, we know that that's a sure prophecy.
And when we see the way that Israel is going with their immorality, the rejection of Jesus Christ, that judgment is certain.
But like I say...
There are many instances of grace toward Israel, toward the United States.
And also, I want to show them this is why there's so much brainwashing concerning the nation of Israel.
And I want to read Deuteronomy 31 29. I just read it from the real Bible, the King James, that good old black book.
It says in the NIV, and notice that the prophecy in the last days is taken out.
In the NIV it reads, for I know that after my death you are sure to become utterly corrupt and to turn from the way I've commanded you.
In the days to come disaster will fall on you because you will do evil in the sight of the Lord and rouse his anger by what your hands have made.
So in the days to come, well that could have been AD 70, that could have been any one of the many judgments in the time of the judges that fell on Israel.
But in the real Bible In the last days, evil is going to befall Israel.
And certainly, I do believe that it is not very far away.
Well, with that, I want to thank each and every one of you that prays for us and that studies with us and that supports us with your gifts and with your kindness.
We do appreciate it from the very bottom of our heart.
Tonight our message is entitled preparing to suffer and I'm just this has just been the best tabernacles ever I believe uh we've just had such a joyous time fellowshipping and preparing um our broadcast and special times and this Wednesday we will have our roll call and uh uh Brian,
what time are we going on Wednesday?
Can you remind me?
I forgot.
Okay.
All right.
Thank you, Brian.
6 p.m.
Central.
And I tell you what, if you still want to be a part of this, You can go to FOJC Radio, the special events page, and we have our Choose You This Day campaign.
And we have had such a response from many, many foreign countries.
Pretty much every state in the United States now.
It's just really touching.
And hundreds.
And we're going to be having our rowdy friends on to help us read these names.
We're going to rejoice and we're going to have a roll call.
And basically what that is.
When you choose you this day, you are standing for the holidays of God, his holy days of God, the holy days of Israel, and against the pagan holidays.
And it's going to let us know, though many of us aren't privileged to have people around us, That are taking a stand and believe like we do.
And though many people that have taken a stand are taking a fall now.
They're backing up on the things they once claimed to believe and stand in.
But we're taking a stand.
We're not taking a fall.
And we're going to have a roll call.
And I mean, there's hundreds of names.
I mean, there's hundreds.
And it is just such a blessing to know.
I don't know the exact number.
It's well over 500 that have stood up.
And are taking a stand.
So it's going to be encouraging us to know that there is a remnant of the Israel of God that will not bow the knee to Baal, that will stand strong on the doctrine of Christ and the commandments of God, and will stand up to be that remnant that will Witness to the world in these last days.
So it's going to be an exciting time this Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
And there you go.
And for anyone that did not catch it, There was a great broadcast just last night with Agent 505, Jillian Stone and Don Winders, a really beautiful Tabernacles presentation.
That's there for you if you'd like to enjoy that during this great time of the feast.
So, God is good.
God is good and we're going to get into his good word and we're going to begin By turning to the book of Hebrews.
And by the way, I don't have my little black New Testament here.
And if maybe one of my little friends there in the next room could bring me my black New Testament, I would be so thankful.
The book of Hebrews, chapter 6 and verse 12. That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Not to be slothful.
Now that word slothful, that means lazy.
And a lot of people are lazy.
They're too lazy to study.
They're too lazy to do the things they need to do to have the victory.
They're too lazy to pray.
Let's just get real here a little bit.
We've got to call out this lawfulness and this laziness.
Hang on just a second.
Thank you so much.
Well, we'll wait until David gets back and he's getting his other Bible there.
And we just want to thank you all for being here.
Hit that like button, hit that subscribe button, share this thing out here at FOJC. We really appreciate it.
And we're honored to have everybody here tonight, here on Friday night.
Your time is valuable.
And we're very thankful for it that you come here and join us here on Friday night.
So I think Brother David's coming back in here in a few moments.
But it's just an honor to be part of this.
Even though I'm on for a few seconds or a few moments or a few minutes, but like Brother David alluded to earlier, make sure you join us for Sunday Night Live.
It's going to be a really good program, a really good broadcast, and I really would appreciate it if you all join us on Sunday night.
It's...
7 p.m.
Central Time and 8 p.m.
Eastern Time.
So it's going to be an epic program.
And you'll really enjoy it.
So hopefully Brother David will come back here in a few moments.
Here he is.
He's back.
May the word of my little black testament comes hurtling under the door.
There you go.
So, I want to read from Jonathan Flavel.
Jonathan Flavel, one of my Puritan friends, he wrote in the 1600s and We're going to be talking about preparing to suffer.
And this text in the Hebrews talks about being followers of them who through faith and patient inherit the promises.
And if we would think about that, Of the 12 apostles, there was only one that didn't die a martyr.
And they tried their best to kill John.
They threw him in a pot of oil, didn't kill him.
They put him in prison.
He was probably just about 100 years old and he still got out.
So I tell you what, he took a licking and kept on ticking.
And Jonathan Flavel, is very very qualified to write on this issue.
His father was a Puritan minister and his father was arrested and jailed for preaching the gospel and in prison Jonathan Flavel's father caught bubonic plague and died in prison.
Now that could have made Jonathan Flavel bitter But it just made him better.
And George Whitfield said of Jonathan Flavel that there was never a light for Christ burned any brighter in England than this young man.
And it's sad to say that probably few people even know his name today.
But we're going to introduce his writings to you a little bit as we've featured him before.
uh on FOJC. He is one of the one of my go-to guys but I want to read from this is from volume six of his complete works and it's the this writing is entitled preparations for suffering and I think this is most appropriate right now for us right now.
He wrote this He said, If we could go today To
the Colosseum in Rome, the stones are still stained red with the blood of the martyrs.
They gave their life rather than to deny Jesus Christ.
It reminds me they would not burn incense to Caesar and they would rather have been torn to shreds with lions Than to deny Christ.
It reminds me in the book of the Maccabees there's the story and it's so touching of the family that they told this woman that if she didn't eat pork that they would kill her children and they killed her children in front of her one by one and she would not compromise.
The truth of God that she was standing on.
This sounds strange to the ears, like Brother Flavel said.
When we think that we know these early martyrs exist, we know that they give their lives for Christ, and yet When the Bible speaks of us having the same faith of those that inherit the promises, how often do we think that it many, many times has caused the ultimate price to be paid?
The men that gave us the King James Bible, William Tyndale, When they killed him and burned him at the stake, the last words out of his mouth was his prayer, oh God, open the king of England's eyes, and he did.
And the God of heaven reached down into that Catholic Stuart dynasty and touched a man that authorized The actual correct translation of the Word of God.
Let me tell you what, the Word of God is truly sealed with the blood of the martyrs.
In James the fifth chapter and the tenth verse, take my brethren The prophets who have spoken in the name of the Lord for an example of suffering, affliction, and patience.
And I think of Jeremiah who stood up and at the time when the Babylonians were coming down on Israel, Jeremiah said, this city's gonna fall.
The Babylonians will conquer you because you will not repent.
They threw him in the dungeon.
They threw him down and he was in the miry clay.
And Abedlamech, the eunuch, came after the city was taken by the Babylonians and they laid down, they tied the cloths together and they lifted him up out of that pit.
The people of Israel put him in the pit, but yet the people of God brought him out.
Take him for an example for those that will go against the grain and they will call out our nation and the nation of Israel for their sins and call them to repentance and tell them that it's not going to suffice to try to put some kind of a political band-aid and try to smear it over and say, and to repent, well, we'll repent on these three, but these three, we're going to keep them.
Because that's going to get us some votes.
Yes, it will.
I tell you what, it's not going to cut it.
It's not going to cut it.
And this is the situation we're in.
And I think each and every one of you know it.
The Spirit of God is calling to repentance.
And the Spirit of God is also calling to separation.
And the Spirit of God...
Is calling out and prophesying of the judgment to come and telling the Israel of God that now It's the time for us to prepare to suffer.
And now you need to either prepare to suffer or you need to prepare to compromise.
You need to make your mind up.
You're gonna stand for God or you're gonna make your mind out.
You're gonna whore out and you're gonna go along with this beast system.
And a lot of people, they'll stand strong so far.
And then they'll go so far, but when it really gets hot, they bail.
You know, they're gonna bail.
Well, there was a lot of people that have never bailed.
Jeremiah didn't bail.
The early martyrs didn't bail.
The Puritans didn't bail.
They even under the point of the loss of their property and the loss of their life, they did not budge.
They stood strong and they stood fast.
They were like a tree planted by the rivers of the water.
That's what God is looking for now.
And he's given the warning.
You're either going to prepare to stand or you're going to prepare to fall and your eternal soul hangs in the balance.
In Acts the 21st chapter and the 13th verse, the scripture says this, Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart?
For I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
He was ready, you know, and a lot of you can see these ministers and the preachers and thank goodness I don't watch them anymore.
And it's just a real blessing not to watch them.
But they'll get up in front of the congregation.
They'll get everyone whooped up.
Are you ready?
It's time to get ready, ready, ready.
And everyone goes, you hear the big yell, the big enthusiasm.
But when the Bible talks about being ready, Paul said, I am ready to die.
Are we ready?
Are we ready to die?
Are we ready to go all the way?
Jesus said, he that endureth unto the end, the same shall be saved.
And in Matthew 24 and verse 44, Jesus said this, therefore be ye also ready.
Now when people hear this verse, I bet they think of all kinds of things.
And if you'd ask people ready for what, You know there's only one correct answer and of course we need to be ready in every aspect but we need to be ready to die.
You need to make your mind up right now.
Are you in all the way or is there a place where it's going to get too hot for you and you're going to bail?
This is the sifting.
This is the seed.
This is the separation of the tares and the wheat.
When it gets hot The dross gets burned out, and let me tell you what, the heat's heating up, and you ain't seen nothing yet.
These are the days of the separation.
These are the times when the Israel of God is going to take a cold, sober look at what's ahead, and we're going to prepare to endure unto the end no matter what.
Praise God.
Matthew 24-44, I'm going to read it again.
Therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh.
Be ready, and be ready even to die, if the Lord would require that of us.
You know, and if you think about it, What better way to die?
Would you rather die a martyr for Christ or would you rather die of cancer or some other way?
I don't want to be boastful here, but I'm just being honest.
I'd rather die a martyr than any way I could think.
I mean, what better way to die for Christ than as a martyr?
Think about it.
The book of Acts chapter 20 And I'm going to begin reading in verse 18. And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons, serving the Lord with all humility of mind and with many tears and temptations which befell me at the lying in wait of the Jews.
And now And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you.
Now, there's a lot of people that will keep back things.
You know, there's a lot of preachers aren't going to tell you that you might have to die.
You know, you might have to die to stand up for Jesus because, you know, there's a guy out there.
He was teaching, well, you can take the mark of the beast and still be saved.
So you can deny Christ and still be saved.
You know, and they're teaching a lie.
They're teaching a lie to people that's going to cause the damnation of many, many souls.
But that's our goal.
We don't want to keep back nothing.
We're not holding back.
Let me tell you, it's too late in the game to hold anything back.
It's time for the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
If people don't like and all the time we get grief over the stands we take for the Word of God, It's not gonna cause us to budge, not one bit.
We're in it.
We're in it to the end.
The only way, and I'm not being boastful in the flesh, I'm just being honest.
The only way they'll shut me up is to kill me.
As long as I have breath, I'll be proclaiming, thus saith the Lord, and I'm not gonna hold back.
Anyone to listen to us, we ain't holding anything back.
Now it's time to let it all out.
Now's the time to preach the real gospel because there's real people that need to hear the real gospel and the transforming power of Jesus Christ today.
This is the day of salvation and this is the day that the Lord hath made for us to once again broadcast over the airwaves the saving power of Jesus Christ to save, to heal, to deliver.
That is the Jesus that we serve.
Whatever problem you have in your life right now, Jesus is the answer.
Reach out to him.
Call upon him now and he will meet you where you are and save your soul.
God be merciful to me, a sinner.
Repent and believe the death of Jesus Christ on the cross was the payment for your sin debt.
Call upon the Lord.
Call upon the Lord.
And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you and have shewed unto you and have taught you publicly.
And from house to house, testifying both to the Jews and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Repentance and faith.
Jesus said, repent and believe the gospel.
There's that R word.
Repent, repent, repent.
Paul didn't hold back the word repent.
Today, there are preachers all over this land.
They're holding back that word repent because they know if they got up and told their congregation the truth, they'd be out the door and then run up somewhere else where someone would tickle their ears and tell them what they need to hear to make them feel good.
Repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
And now behold, I go bound in the Spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there.
I want to read the note in the Reformation Heritage Study Bible.
And this is a good note, of course.
I wouldn't want to read it if it was a bad note, would I? But it's very good what they had to say on this text.
And it says here, Bound in the Spirit, possibly under necessity or obligation by the Spirit.
Paul was under a solemn burden to go to Jerusalem and suffer according to God's will.
Now, The way you can know if you're really called of God or not If God has called you to do something, you'll do it no matter what the obstacles, no matter what the obligations, and no matter what the cost.
And if you try not to do it, it's gonna be there.
The Spirit of God is gonna have it in your mind.
It'll be in your heart.
You will not be able to walk away from that which God really calls you to do unless you just totally backslide.
And throw your soul down the abyss.
I want to read something else here from Jonathan Flavel.
And Brother Flavel said this, I am ready.
That is, God hath fitted and prepared my heart How true is that?
Our flesh would never do it.
It's got to be the Spirit of God that's going to move upon men and women to prepare their heart to stand for Jesus no matter what the cost.
He goes on to say, Secondly, I am ready.
That is, my will and resolution stands in a full bent.
My heart is fixed.
You cannot therefore study to do me a greater injury than to discompose and disorder my heart again by casting such temptations as these in my way to cause the flesh to rebel and the enemy that is within to renew.
It's opposition.
When I was a young believer, I had a preacher give me some very good advice that's always stuck with me.
He said, to serve the Lord, it takes a made up mind.
And that's what it takes.
You got to make your mind up.
You got to know what truth is.
You got to know where you stand in relation to the truth.
And you have to know what you're going to do.
To deny the truth.
And that's just the way that it is.
That's just the way that it is.
And that's what this message here is about tonight.
Preparing our hearts to suffer.
And in Psalm chapter 57, and I guarantee you that the Bible tells us, you all know it, that there's going to come a time When we're not going to be able to go down to the grocery store and buy, unless we take a mark to be able to participate in this beast economy, that day will come.
And people are going to be shut out of the medical system, and they're going to be shut out of the Just the buying and selling.
That's what it says in the Bible.
So we have to prepare our hearts now, make preparations, and we have to decide what it will take.
Well, I'm going to hold out until they take away my Medicare.
I'm going to hold out until they keep me from going to the grocery store.
You got to account the cost here.
Now is really time to count the cost and prepare our hearts to stand for Jesus Christ, no matter what.
And that's what it's all about.
Psalm chapter 57, and I want to read verse 7. My heart is fixed, O God.
My heart is fixed.
I will sing and give praise.
That's what our heart needs to be.
Our heart needs to be fixed.
And if God has indeed called us unto something, our heart is fixed.
We will do what God has called us to do, no matter what the opposition, no matter what it looks like.
We will do that which the Lord has called us unto.
Psalm 112 and verse 7. He shall not be afraid.
Well, let me read verse 6 with it.
Surely he shall not be moved forever.
The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings.
His heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
Would you be afraid of evil tidings?
If you woke up to turn on the television to see mushroom clouds and nuclear exchanges going on, I believe we'll see that day.
Will your heart be fixed?
Are you ready to be calm in those evil tidings knowing that the Lord has taken care of you spiritually and that you have done all that he has told you to do in the way of preparing yourself for this evil day?
Above all things, God wants us to be steadfast and unmovable.
The scripture in the great epistle to the Corinthians in the 15th chapter and the 58th verse, Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast Unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain.
Steadfast, that means you know the truth, you're standing for it, you're not going to budge, and you're going to abound in the work of God.
You're not Like Jesus said that the one that puts their hand to the plow and looks back is not fit for the kingdom because if you're plowing and you're looking back, you're going to have a real crooked furrow, aren't you?
And that's the way a lot of people are.
They're trying to serve God with a double mind.
They're all over the place.
It's time to get planted.
It's time to be steadfast, unmovable.
Just like it said with John the Baptist, Jesus said, what did you go out in the desert to see?
A reed shaking in the wind?
Someone that's gonna be blowed about by every wind of doctrine?
Someone that's gonna wet their britches every time the devil comes at them?
He stood strong and Jesus Christ has given us the Holy Spirit For each and every one of us to stand strong in these evil days.
In the book of Psalms chapter 1, the very beginning to that great book of Psalms, we're going to have a little bit of beatitudes.
Blessed is the man That walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord.
That lets most of them out right there, doesn't it?
And in his law doth he meditate day and night, and he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season.
His leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Praise God!
Look at your neighbor and say, Get planted!
It's time to get planted.
Get planted in Jesus.
Get planted in the truth and stand there like a rock.
Don't budge.
Always abound in the work of the kingdom of God.
And I'm talking about the real kingdom.
Yes, I am.
Revelation chapter 1. Revelation chapter 1. And let's read the fifth verse.
Revelation chapter 1 and verse 5 and from Jesus Christ who is the faithful witness and the first begotten of the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood.
Now as I always tell all of you there's truth in the English If you're reading the King James, that is.
And there's also truth in the Greek and the Hebrew.
And they don't contradict one another.
Now, let's do a little word study here.
Let's look that word witness up.
And that word witness in the Greek, it's 3144 on the Strong's.
And that word is martis.
Now, well, that sounds an awful lot like martyr, doesn't it?
Well, I'll read you, and this is the Strong's definition.
It says, witness, by analogy, a martyr.
Okay, so Jesus, now, and you see, the very word witness, there were so many.
They took the early Christians and they said, you're going to have to burn incense to Caesar.
If you burn incense to Caesar, you can go your way.
But if you don't burn incense unto Caesar, you see them lions up there?
Well, they're going to have their way with you.
And untold, thousands and thousands of believers chose.
To die a martyr.
And you see, that was their witness, wasn't it?
Their witness was what brought about their death.
And this is why we have the connection of the Greek word martyrs with witness.
And Jesus was the faithful witness, wasn't he?
He would not deny.
He came to speak the words his father gave him.
And he did not hold back a thing.
Everything the father showed him, he spoke to give us the truth.
And he died for it, didn't he?
He was the faithful witness and he was indeed the faithful martyr.
Now let's look at the book of Acts chapter 1. And we're going to see another place where this Greek word martis is used in Acts the first chapter and the eighth verse.
But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and under the uttermost part of the earth.
And everybody said amen but Do you know when it says ye shall be witnesses unto me that that's also the word martyrs and not every Christian is called upon to be a martyr but you might be you might be and that's the thing you have to be willing you have to be willing in your heart if need be to give your life for Jesus Christ so you know You'll be witnesses unto me, even unto the death.
Even unto the death, you're going to stand for the truth and bear witness.
Now, let's look at 1 John chapter 5. 1 John chapter 5. And in 1 John, the fifth chapter.
And we're going to read the 10th verse.
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself.
Praise God.
He that believeth not God hath made him a liar because he believeth not the record that God gave of his sons.
He that believeth on the Son of God hath a witness in himself.
Can I get a witness tonight?
You know, it reminds me of that commercial, what's in your wallet?
Well, what's in your heart?
Do you have the martyr in your heart?
Do you have the martyrs in your heart?
Or do you have hippie Jesus in your heart?
Do you have once saved, always saved Jesus in your heart?
Do you have the Jesus in your heart that says, No sin you can ever commit can separate you from me.
If you deny me, it's all good.
No, the real Jesus said, he that endureth unto the end, the same shall be saved.
The real Jesus is the martyrs.
What do you have in your heart?
Do you have hippie Jesus?
Do you have dispensational Jesus?
Do you have Jehovah Witness Jesus that's a little God?
When people say they believe in Jesus, we have to say, Ma'am and sir, we need to fill in the blanks to see just what Jesus you're talking about.
Are you talking about the sinless virgin-born savior that when he walked the earth, every word he said was true?
Is that the one you're talking about?
The one that said, take your yoke upon me and learn of me.
To follow Jesus, the one that said, if ye continue in my word, ye shall be my disciples indeed.
That's the Jesus I'm talking about, the one that will save, the one that will set free, the one that will give you the Holy Spirit to enable you to be a witness in every situation, even unto the death, praise God.
And our flesh recoils and our fear rises up.
But let me tell you, in our flesh, none of us have that ability.
But in the power of the Holy Ghost, He can change you and I unto the believers that were just like those that stared down the lions in the early church, like the Puritans that suffered the loss of their life and their property to stand for the truth of God.
Let me tell you, we serve a mighty God, and we have a great big God, and we've got a little bitty devil, so don't you forget it.
Amen.
And don't you ever forget who you have in your heart.
We have the martyr in our heart, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that suffered and died for us.
He hung nude on a cross for us.
He hung naked before those that mocked him, that he might purchase our salvation and send that precious Holy Spirit back unto us.
That we could have the honor of serving the living God even under the point of death if need be.
And what we might say, and this is the way that one writer put it, he said the very lowest level of faith that is acceptable with God is that faith which is willing to die for Him if need be.
Mark the 8th chapter.
And the 38th verse.
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words.
Now we can hammer this nail home.
We've been teaching.
I did a three series on the millennial reign.
I brought out John 5 27 through 29 where Jesus said everyone is resurrected.
Let me just read it.
Let me read it.
I brought it up twice.
Let me just read it.
John chapter 5, verse 27, 28 and 29. Marvel not at this for the hour is coming in the which all that are in the grave shall hear his voice and shall come forth they that have done good under the resurrection of life and they that have done evil under the resurrection of damnation.
Jesus said the righteous and the wicked are resurrected at the same time.
Are you going to be ashamed of his words?
Are you going to believe him?
Are you going to be ashamed of his words and go along with some little Johnny Jack Leg preacher that's going to teach exactly the opposite?
If you do, like we said at the beginning of this broadcast, you are brainwashed.
You're not only brainwashed, but you're tricked to the devil.
Who's tricking us to put these teachings down our throat that are going to literally rob us of spiritual life.
They're going to literally take the truth and the spiritual fiber out of us instead of preparing the Israel of God to stand and suffer and endure unto the end.
They're telling you, well, don't worry.
Once saved, always saved.
Don't worry.
You're going to be raptured.
Don't worry.
The kingdom of God isn't here.
It'll be an earthly kingdom when he comes back.
Lie, lie, lie.
And every lie of the devil is to leave you unprepared and naked and unarmed for the attacks of the devil.
Each and every one of them.
Yeah, get your Bible.
That's easy for you to understand.
I say, let's get us a Webster's 1828 and quit being slothful and let's look a word up or two.
Let's look a word or two up if we have to.
That's what I say.
Mark chapter 14. Mark the 14th chapter.
Mark chapter 14 and let's look at the 30th verse.
And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, that this day, even in this night, before the cock crowed twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.
And I want to say that each and every one of us We've failed the Lord, haven't we?
All of us.
Me, you, and everybody.
There's always been those times when we should have stood up and we sit down.
There's been those times when we should have spoke up and we shut up.
There's been those times when we've not been always abounding in the work of the Lord.
Well, let me tell you what, the Apostle Peter is right there with us.
He denied the Lord three times, but yet he found repentance and he found the Holy Spirit.
There was something that changed Peter, and it was that same verse we read.
Let me turn and read it again.
There was something that transformed Peter from a coward to a man of God.
He was crucified upside down.
He gave his life for Jesus, and in Acts chapter 1 and verse 8, This is what happened to him, but ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me.
I say that to us all, that all of us have failed him.
We've all fallen short, but I'm telling you what, there's a mercy seat In the third heaven tonight, there's a mercy seat that we can come boldly before that throne and we can come to that throne of grace.
It's not the throne of loss because we've broken it and we can't keep it perfectly, but it's a throne of grace where the shed blood of Jesus is the propitiation on the mercy seat.
Run to the mercy seat right now.
Run to the mercy seat where we can find grace and forgiveness.
We have a God of grace.
He will love us.
Into the kingdom.
He will reach down and he will put ointment on our wounds.
He will reach down and speak kindly in our ear those words of love and the wooing of the Holy Spirit to draw us back into the love of God and the safety of that secret place of the Most High.
And when you have the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost Isn't, you know, and let's just get real here for a minute.
Most men and women that stand behind pulpits on a Sunday morning, they're cowards.
They're cowards.
I have had so many preachers tell me, just on the issue of Freemasonry, you know, I'd have my, you know, I actually thought When I found out the truth about Freemasonry that I could show these preachers and man, we'd have a revival here.
But you know what I found over and over that say, well, yeah, this is right.
This is terrible.
I'm going to preach on this, but never comes out of their mouth.
Cowards.
They're cowards.
They're not going to speak up on anything that's going to cost them financially, and they're hirelings.
They're hirelings.
They're there for a paycheck.
They are hirelings, and they're not going to do anything in the greatest majority of cases that's going to do anything that's going to hinder that Which gives them stability.
2 Timothy 1 and 7. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear.
Fear is one of Satan's biggest weapons, and he wants to put fear on you to back down, shut up, compromise, go the easy way.
Oh, over here, you know, maybe once saved, always saved is true.
Just go over there and quit fretting with all this stuff about living holy.
The Bible says, without holiness no man shall see the Lord.
But You know, let's just listen to a little of this once saved, always saved.
That sounds pretty good and that carnal man, he's gonna love that and he's gonna want to go to that because then you can be a coward.
You know, you can be a coward.
The believers that chose to burn incense to Caesar, they went back home to their families and they enjoyed the little carnal pleasures that they enjoyed.
But let me tell you what.
There is a God.
There is a God.
There is a heaven.
There is a hell.
There will be a day of judgment.
And this old black book is real, let me tell you.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear.
If you're a coward, don't blame God for it.
If you have the spirit of compromise, don't blame God for it.
That's a spirit, all right, but it's not the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Ghost will cast the fear out of you.
The book of Proverbs says the righteous are bold as a lion because we know the God that we serve.
We know the God that we serve, and we know that the Lord God omnipotent reigneth, not a bunch of cowards up in here.
Revelation 21 8 says the cowards are going to be the first ones in the lake of fire and when people start dropping into the lake of fire everyone's going to have to line up behind these coward hireling preachers because I guarantee you they're going to be the first ones to plop in the lake of fire.
They're not only going to take themselves to hell but they'll take everyone to hell that's foolish enough to listen to them.
Amen.
I want to read something else here from Jonathan Flavel.
Amen.
And I tell you what, have I run everybody off yet?
Praise God we got a few people in here hopping and popping with us.
Welcome to FOJC Radio.
Welcome new people.
Stick around to see what we're all about because we want to see The Holy Ghost and fire break out and see people born again, devils cast out, people set free, come into the truth, renounce sin, forsake false doctrine, and that's what's happening right now.
Praise God!
God wants to raise up warriors for God, not a bunch of cowards.
Amen?
Jonathan Flavel, he said this, To what grievous sufferings did the Lord give up those precious servants of Christ,
the Waldenises and Albigenses, who received the light of the Reformation about the year 1260, when the fogs of anti-Christian darkness overspread the earth, a people sound in judgment, as appears by their letters, catechisms and confessions, which are extant.
A people of simple, plain, and inoffensive behavior, yet with what fury and rage did that impious Pope Pius persecute them to destruction, driving them into the woods and mountains, except the aged and children that could not flee, who were murdered in the way.
Some famished in the caves and clefts of the rocks, others endured the rack for eight hours together, some beaten with iron rods, others thrown from the tops of high towers and dashed to pieces.
And what the whore of Rome did, the Waldonises lived in the mountains of Italy and they were in France and Switzerland and other places also.
But they lived in the mountains and it was just impossible to ferret them out.
They were too well protected up in the mountains.
And what they did Under the guise of making a treaty with them, they tricked them and lured them out.
And then they just set upon them with a horrific slaughter of thousands and thousands.
That's what the whore of Rome did.
And did I call them whore?
Yes.
And that's even too nice a word.
And if you think That the doctrine of Rome and the Council of Trent has changed?
It has not.
And right there, where the Vatican is today, right across the parking lot, underneath the parking lot is still the torture chambers where they tortured the saints and all the equipment.
It is still there.
All of the instruments of the Inquisition are still right there underneath the pavement, the parking lot of the Vatican.
Yes, it did.
And it is just so, it needs to move our heart.
And I tell you what, I could bring out, I have the Fox's Book of Martyrs is so good.
And I have another huge volume called The Martyr's Mirror.
And of all the believers, it's hard to even think about the way and the perverse sick way that these men and women of God were tortured.
And it's so inspiring, the character and the courage they had to give their life for Christ.
We need to be reminded of it.
We need to be reminded of it and we need to be reminded of what the Bible really says And of what really is ahead for the Israel of God.
And I don't do that to scare anybody.
I do that to encourage us, because like I say, my goodness, if you could choose the way you die, well, if you could choose, well, would you rather go with cancer, car wreck, gunshot wound, or die a martyr?
You know, I say, let's go, let's be a martyr.
I say that, yeah, let's do that.
If need be.
If need be.
Colossians chapter 1 and verse 24. Paul said, who now rejoice in my sufferings for you and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church.
Now, you really need to sit with this one.
This is a good one.
Of course, they're all good, aren't they?
But let's read it again.
Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, this is Paul speaking, and fill up That which is behind in the afflictions of Christ.
Paul was actually saying that Jesus suffered while he was on earth.
And you know, it was on the Damascus Road where, you know, Paul said...
He said, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
And he said, well, you know, Lord, I'm persecuting these believers.
And wow, the body of Christ, these believers are the body of Christ.
And the great revelation of the body of Christ came to the Apostle Paul, which he had a little say about that over in Corinthians, didn't he?
But that was Paul's point.
That now, as the body of Christ, he and the children of God, we are continuing to fill up the sufferings that Jesus Christ would suffer if he was here because he is indeed present in us.
And when we live like Jesus lived and when we say and teach what he says, just like the Word of God says, yea, all that shall live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Amen.
Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church.
I'll read the explanation of that in Scott McKnight's commentary.
On the epistle to the Colossians, he said Paul's sufferings include routine verbal opposition and abuse.
Routinely, and it gives the scriptures Acts 13.45, 14.2, 17.13, 18.6, and 19.9.
He was regularly abused and bad-mouthed and put down.
Verbal abuse all the time.
Trumped up false accusations, 21, 27 through 29. People bad-mouthing.
They made up stuff about him.
Legal or not, 18, 12 through 13. Physical expulsion from cities, Acts 13, 50. Attempts on his life, Acts 14, verse 5 and 6. Beatings, Acts 21, 32. And betrayal by fellow Christians, 2 Timothy 1.15 and 4.16.
And Paul said, I count it all joy because I'm filling up.
He goes on to say, these sufferings complete the lack and the sufferings of Christ.
I fill up what is still lacking in regards to Christ's afflictions.
And if you stand where Jesus stands and if you live The way he tells us to live.
I guarantee you, you shall suffer persecution.
Revelation chapter 6. Revelation chapter 6. Revelation 6 will begin in verse 9. And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on the earth?
Excuse me, avenge our blood on them that dwell in the earth.
And white robes were given unto every one of them, and it was said unto them that they should rest for a little season until the fellow servants, also their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Now, I want to read, let's read verse 9 too.
This is so cool.
It says in Revelation 6 and 9, Now let's just get a picture of this for a moment.
There is an altar.
Yes, there is an altar.
There is a third heaven where Jesus Christ sits by the right hand of the Father.
There is an altar there that when we pray, the angels stow incense on the altar, and it comes up as a sweet-smelling savor.
Now, just get this picture.
The Bible says that the streets and the pavement is like pure glass, pure as crystal.
Now, here's what we got, friends.
There's an altar there where the angels minister before the Father and the Son.
Jesus is at the right hand of God.
There's an absolutely clear, transparent floor, and underneath that is where the martyrs are.
They're looking up.
And they're seeing the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost and the angels of God.
You talk about a grandstand seat right there under ground zero of the ruler of all things.
They're right there beholding it.
This is the blessed blessing that God has for the martyrs.
It's absolutely amazing.
And when you really think about that, It is just absolutely beyond comprehension.
Amos chapter 9. Amos the prophet chapter 9. That should let us know, well, you know, maybe dying of murder might not be so bad.
Amos chapter 9, verse 9 and 10. For I will command and I will sift the house of Israel.
We are in the time of the sifting, my friends.
The sifting is going on.
It is the time of the sifting and the separation of the tares and the wheat.
For lo, I will command and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a seed.
And yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.
All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword which say the evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.
The sinners are saying right now this evil will not overtake us.
Judgment won't happen.
Things will go on like it always was.
We're gonna win the election and everything will be fine.
Let me tell you, my friends, All the sinners of the people, they are going to die.
Jonathan Flavel said this, Jonathan Flavel said this, Affliction is a furnace.
To separate the dross from the more pure and noble gold.
Multitudes of hypocrites, like flies in a hot summer, are generated by the church's prosperity.
But this winter weather kills them.
Many gaudy professors grow within the enclosure of the church, like beautiful flowers in the field, where they stand during its peace and prosperity in the pride and bravery of their gifts and professions.
But the wind passeth over them, and they are gone, and their places shall know them no more.
To allude to that in Psalm 103, verse 16. And there you go.
How true is it?
Now, 1 Corinthians 11, 19. 1 Corinthians 11, 19. For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
I'll read Adam Clark's comment on that scripture.
In 1 Corinthians 11 and 19, and he said this, I'll tell
you a little story here.
The first part of my christian life very early on in the 70s i was in the church of god of cleveland tennessee now there was a church that split off and yeah that's it i mean this church split off that church split off this church but the church of god of prophecy split off of the church of god of cleveland tennessee and there was and it was over uh an interpretation about divorce and remarriage was
the heart of it And every doctrine's profitable, but their twist wasn't quite right.
But anyway, there was a guy, his name was A.J. Tomlinson, and the people that followed him, they followed him blindly, and after he died, they believed he was going to raise from the dead.
Now, he died in the summertime, and as any of you good folks from Tennessee know, it can be a bit warm down there in the summer.
And they had him down there, and they had him in his coffin, and summer was rolling on, and old AJ didn't rise from the dead, but he did get distinct just a bit.
And finally, the state of Tennessee come in and made them bury him.
And I say, good for you.
Good for you.
So, you know, this is just craziness.
This is just craziness, but that's the way it is.
These things are there for a reason, and it's not always a bad one.
I heard, well, I'm not saying more about that, but there was a sermon I recommended by another man that I thought really hit it on the head.
But anyway, we know what the word of the Lord said.
Let's read Amos 3.7.
In the book of Amos, chapter 3 and verse 7, It says, Surely the Lord will do nothing, but he reveals his secrets unto his servants, the prophets.
And I want to read something else here that Jonathan Flavel had to say.
And Brother Flavel said this.
He said, Thus, when he was about to bring the flood upon the world, He gave 120 years, warning of it before it came.
Genesis 6-3.
And when he was about to draw Sodom, he saith, Shall I hide from Abraham the thing that I shall do?
Genesis 18-17.
And when the storm was just ready to fall, their own historian tells us, A voice was heard in the temple saying, let us go hence, which voice Tactius also mentions in his annals, affirming it to be more than a human voice.
And he's now talking about the miraculous signs that happened in AD 70 when the temple was destroyed.
He goes on to say, telling them God was departing and that it was accompanied with a rushing noise.
As of persons going out, there are extraordinary warnings like the signs have been given to divers other nations by dreadful eclipses of the heavenly bodies, portentous comets, earthquakes, and other signs of judgment.
And there you go.
I want to say this and also I want to read from Josephus here.
I have Josephus here handy and I want to read some of the things that Josephus said about the signs and wonders that took place in AD 70 and then I'll have a few things to say about those that say that Jesus returned in AD 70. Just got to do it.
You know it do.
But Josephus wrote this.
This is on page 741. He said, nor did any one of them escape with his life.
A false prophet was the occasion of these people's destruction who had made a public proclamation in the city that very day that God commanded them to get up upon the temple and that there they should receive miraculous signs of their deliverance.
So there was a false prophet there saying, yeah, all them signs and wonders, that means you're going to be delivered.
Go to the temple.
Every one of them died that obeyed that false prophet, and that's where it's going to be today.
People that obey the false prophets, they're gonna die.
Yeah, that's right.
He goes on to say, Josephus writes, Thus, there was a star resembling a sword which stood over the city and a comet that continued a whole year.
And I did a broadcast with Dan Badandi.
We talked about a pulpits on the trumpet judgments.
We're going to be talking a little bit about this new moon Sunday night with Brian.
Yeah, we are.
We're starting to have some stuff happen, aren't we?
And he goes on, he says, Chariots and troops of soldiers in their armor were seen running about among the clouds and surrounding cities.
So there was a lot of stuff going on and it's amazing to me that just like that false prophet that tricked people going into the temple, that the amazing signs that happened in AD 70 means that Jesus returned in AD 70. Now, just a couple scriptures.
Nobody Should be fooled by this demonic nonsense.
Matthew 24, verses 26 and 27. The scripture says here, Wherefore, if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert.
Go not forth.
Behold, he is in the secret chambers.
Believe it not.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east and shineth even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.
Jesus put that scripture in the Bible so we won't be fooled by false prophets.
He said his coming will be from the east unto the west like lightning.
When you see the sky light up with lightning, you don't miss it.
He also said, No man will know the day or the hour.
You should not anyone be fooled by these charlatans, but still they are.
In Revelation chapter 1 and verse 7, the word of the Lord says this, Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him, and all the hindrance of the earth shall wail because of him.
Even so, amen.
Jesus said, his coming will be like lightning from one end of the heaven to the other, Every eye will see him.
Well, in AD 70, nobody saw him return because he didn't return.
The only ones that saw him return was the demonic imagination of that warped Jesuit mind that made this demonic doctrine up.
Don't be fooled.
Jesus said, every eye will see him when he returns.
Praise God.
Now, just like there was a false prophet That fooled the people into going into the temple.
There was a true prophet that stood up and prophesied in AD 70. And everyone that heard this true prophet, their life was spared.
And I want to read from Eusebius Church History.
This is on page 138. I'm reading from the Antony Cine Fathers series.
And it says this.
But the people of the church in Jerusalem had been commanded by a revelation, vouchsafed to approved men there before the war to leave the city and to dwell in a certain town of Perea called Pella.
And when those that believed in Christ had come thither from Jerusalem, Then, as if the royal city of the Jews and the whole land of Judea were entirely destitute of holy men, the judgment of God at length overtook those who had committed such outrages against Christ and his apostles and totally destroyed that generation of impious men.
The Lord will do nothing except He reveal it unto His servants the prophets.
And I tell you what, there are some people that if they would tell me If the Lord showed them something, I would listen.
But let me tell you what, that list is very short.
And it's not going to be from these little pot-and-pan prophets you see on TBN and Daystar.
Uh-uh.
Or these people, these green-haired prophets on the internet.
I tell you what, it's time for the people of God to seek him for yourself.
And if you are seeking him, when true words of God do come forth, the spirit of God will bear witness in your heart and you will know that you know.
Yes, that is right.
That is right.
Let's look at 1 Corinthians chapter 10. 1 Corinthians chapter 10. And I'm going to begin in verse 5. 1 Corinthians chapter 10 and verse 5. He said, but with many of them God was not well pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
And this of course is referring to the children of Israel in the wilderness.
Now these things were our examples.
Now, notice here that the book of Exodus is in the Old Testament.
The book of Corinthians is in the New Testament.
And here, the book of Corinthians is saying that the things that happened to the Israelites are an example from us.
So instead of saying, yeah, that's the Old Testament, no, that's an example unto us.
This is the newsflash for the modern American church.
Idolatry is still a sin.
Newsflash.
Disobedience is still a sin.
Newsflash.
This is a big alert for you, but it's true.
You need to consider it.
Going on.
Now these things were our examples to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.
Neither be ye idolaters.
Idolatry is still a sin.
Yes it is.
Even Paul said so.
As were some of them, as it is written, the people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.
Amen.
We need to realize that the things that were written in the Old Testament about idolatry and sin, they are still just as true today.
The only thing that has been changed is that Levitical way of worship, and even all of those things that were in that Levitical worship system, each and every one of them is a beautiful picture of Christ that would come and die for the sins of the world in the book of Acts.
In the book of Acts, the seventh chapter, Let's look at verses 42 and 43. And it speaks of the sin that the children of Israel did when they were wandering in the wilderness.
Acts chapter 7 verse 42. Then God turned and gave them up.
He gave them up.
What a terrible judgment.
This is the worst thing that can happen when the Holy Spirit deals with you on a certain thing.
You keep persisting and then God gives you up.
He just lets you have your own way.
Then God turned and gave them up to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the Book of the Prophets.
O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts of sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?
Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch and the star of their god Rimfan, figures which he made to worship them, and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
There's a captivity coming.
That is going to be beyond Babylon.
That is going to be for those that do not take seriously the Word of God.
Jonathan Flavel said this.
He said, they that will not bear the golden yoke of Christ.
And of course, Jesus said, take my yoke upon you and learn of me.
They that will not bear the golden yoke of Christ shall be galled with the iron yoke of men.
What a statement!
They that will not bear the golden yoke of Christ shall be galled With the iron yoke of men, nothing more provokes the anger of God than the adulterating of his worship.
We talk about this all the time, the mixtures, and my goodness, it, oh, There's never a time when this is more apparent than in this time.
This is truly the time to choose you this day who you're going to serve.
Now's the time to stand up and say no to this pagan devilment that this is nothing but a mixture and abomination to God.
It is truly time to stand up and say no.
He goes on to say a man will bear a thousand infirmities And I'll read the text.
In the book of Ezekiel, In the book of Ezekiel chapter 6, and we will read verse 9. It says here, The Lord is literally heartbroken with their whorish heart.
And there's that uncomfortable word, They are adulterers and whores because they will mix the worship of the true God with that of paganism.
It breaks God's heart.
It breaks God's heart.
I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes which go whoring after their idols, and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
And how true it is.
And there's a word, isn't it?
It says here, for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
Well, let's read some scripture here.
Let's go to the book of Leviticus, chapter 18. Let's begin in the 27th verse.
For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled, that the land spew Read
Jeremiah 10. The practice of cutting down the tree and decorating it is called A custom and its abomination which were committed before you that you defile not yourselves wherein I am the Lord.
The prophets say that when Israel commits abomination that it breaks God's heart when they go a whoring after other things.
Now we read the text where we are to take That was in the New Testament and it says to take the prophets for an example.
Are we going to take the prophet Ezekiel as an example when he says that when people commit abominations that it breaks God's heart?
Or are we just going to redefine abomination the way we want and not really look at what the Bible says of what abomination is?
It's time not to hold back anything, isn't it, my friends?
Time not to hold back anything.
Let's go to Deuteronomy chapter 18. In Deuteronomy the 18th chapter and let's begin in the 9th verse.
When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
There shall not be found among you anyone that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
For all that do these things are an abomination Unto the Lord.
Leviticus 11.11 Leviticus chapter 11 And verse 11 And the scripture says this And this in Leviticus 11 This is the chapter on clean and unclean foods, and it says in verse 11, They shall be even an abomination unto you.
Ye shall not eat of their carcass, not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcasses in abomination.
And that word abomination is used in Leviticus 11 and other places.
So I tell you what, I've shared with you that which the Lord put upon my heart for this evening.
I have not held back anything.
And I have delivered my heart to you this evening.
And I tell you what, I just don't feel like stopping.
Just got to say a couple more things.
I want to read something else that Brother Flavel said here.
He said this.
He said, When the clouds of judgment gather over our heads and grow blacker and blacker as theirs did upon them and do upon us at this day but they took no notice of it.
Now let's look and you see he's talking about When Israel, all the judgments and the signs he gave to Israel of old, and all the signs and judgments that he gave in AD 70, let's look at Isaiah 26 and 11,
Isaiah chapter 26 and verse 11, and it says this, Lord, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see.
How many people today, when God is lifting up his hand in judgment on America, they don't see it.
They don't see it.
They don't get it.
And that's the way it's always been, that there's going to be the majority of people When God moves, that they're not going to see it.
They're not going to understand that there is a God that is in control, that's going to bring judgment.
Lord, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see.
But they shall see and be ashamed for their envy at the people.
Yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.
And truly, the fire of our enemies will devour our nation.
And also the nation of Israel.
It is in the word of God and it will indeed happen.
Isaiah chapter 42 and verse 24. Who gave Jacob for a spoil and Israel to the robbers?
Did not the Lord?
It was the Lord!
That gave over Israel to judgment over and over.
And just like Moses prophesied, there will be evil befall them in the last days.
He against whom we have sinned, for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.
And one more thing here from Brother Flavel.
He said the persecution of God's faithful ministers and people were another sin that procured and a sign that foretold the destruction of their nation.
And I want to give you a scripture in 2 Chronicles chapter 36. And I want to read verse 15 and 16. And the Lord God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers rising up the times and sending because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place.
But they mocked the messengers of God and despised his words and misused his prophets until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people till there was no remedy.
And that, my friends, is where I'm going to close this message for this evening.
As always, With tremendous thankfulness for all of you that were a part of this broadcast tonight.
God bless you all for being a part.
Like I say, welcome new listeners to FOJC.
And I'm going to have my friend and fellow worker, Brian Reese, he's going to come on and he's going to update you on what we're going to have going on here at FOJC in the And it's going to be a hopping and a popping.
Brother Brian, come on and speak to us.
Hello, everybody, once again, and thank you, Brother David, for another wonderful program here on Friday Night Live.
I'm still here, David.
All right, well, I guess Brother Brian is stepping away here.
Oh, I think I'm on mute.
I'll just try to give you a little update here.
I'm on mute, David.
I was on mute.
Oh, okay, Brian's muted.
There he is.
All right, here he is.
I think everybody could hear me besides you, Brother David.
Forgive me, for some odd reason, I got disconnected.
But...
Yeah, everybody, thank you, Brother David, for your time tonight and the message that you brought here on FOJC. And what an honor it is to always run the back end here on this program this evening.
But guess what?
Before we move on with the announcements, tonight we've got one announcement.
Brother Dan is going to be doing an MKUltra slash Halloween program.
I think he's going to have a special guest on there, Ms. Cheryl.
I met her not too long ago, a few weeks back, and I know that they'll be bringing a very interesting program to the Spiritual Warfare program on the Dan Bedoni Show.
So go over there in like 25 minutes and check out his content on the Dan Bedoni Show.
Give a big shout out to Dan and Ms. Cheryl for coming on as a guest on there on the Spiritual Warfare Friday.
What a blessing and honor.
And get into the stuff, the announcements as far as FOJC and whatnot.
We're going to have Sunday Night Live.
It's going to be popping, like David always says.
We're going to be doing, we mentioned it earlier when we had a little intermission period there.
A few moments back during the program, we was talking about Sunday Night Live, 7 p.m.
Central Time and 8 p.m.
Eastern.
Welcome to my show!
And don't forget also, on Monday night, we're going to be having a Season 2 on the DLC channel.
Brother David will be presenting a Season 2 of The Daughter of Christ.
And yeah, I'm looking forward to that also.
But you're looking forward to Sunday Night Live.
And Brother David also, like he's talked about on Wednesday, check that out, hear what we've got going on.
Choose you this day.
And I think I might have covered everything, Brother Dave, if I didn't.
Forgive me.
And is there anything else that you want to say that I might have forgot about announcements?
And you can just close this out.
But thank you all so, so very much.
Hit that like button.
Hit that subscribe button.
We're so, so thankful.
Like I said earlier, your time is valuable for you all to come on here on a Friday evening here.
Especially on Tabernacles here.
We're celebrating Tabernacles and then going tabernacling and then doing online and streaming and doing all kinds of different things and trying to work here and navigate around everything and what a blessing it is.
But Brother David, I'll give the floor back to you.
What an honor and thank you so much, Brother David.
And I see Brother Dan in this chat tonight.
Hey, Brother Dan.
And I'm going to have to watch the Dan Badandi broadcast tonight.
He'll be on at the top of the hour.
And the young lady he has on there, Ms. Cheryl Beck, she is the real deal.
She's been through MKUltra, and I like her.
I like that young lady.
And make sure to stay up for that tonight, coming up at the top of the hour.
And I'm going to have to get with Dan.
We've been bumping on Mondays.
His replay in our DLC has been butting heads there, so we're going to get that squared away, so we're not going to be bumping up on our Monday broadcast.
So I tell you what, my heart just overflows with the love of God, with all He's doing.
He's saving souls, and the gospel's going out, that saving message of Jesus, to save and set free.
And with that, Until next Friday night, 6 p.m.
Central.
High five and good night, everybody, from FOJC Radio, Friday Night Live.
