Thank you.
transmission you are the resistance the Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com And welcome to TruthRadioShow.com I'm your host, Dan Badanti.
Welcome to this in-depth comprehensive study of the Bible, 1 Thessalonians Chapter 2.
So if you missed Chapter 1, I would stop right here, go into our playlist and watch Chapter 1 so you can understand what's going on, because we like to read the Bible in context.
And once again, like always, we like to do this Bible study approach.
Number one, we pray for wisdom and understanding.
Read the Bible in context and let the scripture interpret itself.
So let's pray right now.
And Jesus, Yeshua Messiah, we love you so much.
Thank you so much for everything you do for us.
And once again, we ask you to forgive us of the individual of our sins that we made and committed today.
We are sorry for the sins we do.
Just help us repent, Lord.
And I pray that you could pour your blood upon us all for the remission of the sins we do.
And we repent with all our heart and soul, Lord.
We love you so much.
And Heavenly Father, we come before you once again and ask you once again to deliver us to Holy Spirit.
The great teacher, the great comforter, to have him write your word upon our hearts today, 1 Thessalonians chapter 2.
To really understand and know your word and have the power behind it.
It was like chapter 1 talked about, Paul was saying the power behind the word and the Holy Spirit.
So we ask you to help us understand and see and feel and know that power behind the word here.
Not just the text but the power behind it.
And the Holy Spirit to write it upon our hearts.
We love you so much, Father, and we pray that you can protect us all from the forces of evil, and to give us great wisdom and understanding, and to comfort everybody that needs comfort in any which way, and we love you so much.
In your mighty name, Amen.
So, like, once again, if you missed Chapter 1, please go back and watch that.
Very important to do that, because we like to, you know, this way you have a clear understanding of what's going on.
So we read the scripture in context.
We don't just read through it.
I think it's 20 verses in this chapter here.
And normally it would take, like I say all the time, probably like 2 minutes to read it.
We don't do that.
We go in depth and pull out as much information as possible in each verse.
So we read it in context because context is key and let the scripture interpret itself.
In other words, let the Holy Spirit work through you to do that.
So if you got a Bible open it up and especially at ShakenWakeRadio.com for audio auditions.
Thank you Annie on Shaken Wake for carrying broadcasts on your awesome channel.

On our YouTube channel here, we got the King James Version here up on the screen.
So, once again, Paul's letter to the Thessalonian church.
Chapter 2.
For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance into you, that it was not made.
So, let's see what we don't... Entrance, like, you know... Entrance... Bible... Again, when you work... Well, excuse me.
Tongue-tied.
When you look up a meaning of a word, make sure you always put Bible meaning when it comes to the Scriptures.
Entrance in the Bible means multiple, including entrance to a city, symbol of strength.
Which, yeah, in this case it'll be... Entrance, which is a symbol of strength.
So for yourselves, brother, know our entrance unto you.
So the simple strength to them and to us with the Word, right?
That's the Word that's not in vain.
So, you know, you don't want the Word to be in vain, right?
You need to know the strength behind it, as Paul pointed out in chapter 1.
But even after that we have suffered before and were shamefully treated, as you know, at Philippi, We were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
So, even though they were suffering, being mistreated, suffering, you know, persecution and all that stuff, they boldly spoke in our God to speak to the gospel to you.
So, basically he's saying, through God, speaking, let me rephrase that, God through us, He's saying, spoke boldly the gospel, preached the gospel of God with much contention.
In other words, they were dealing, they were contending with the devil.
They were contending with scoffers.
But it doesn't matter what they were going through, they're saying, all the turmoil they were going through, they boldly spoke the word of God.
For our extortion was not of deceit, nor of uncleanliness, nor of guile.
So this goes on to today guys, and I pointed out in the last chapter too, that we gotta bully speaking the word.
Doesn't matter what the world throws at us.
And guess what, like I said in the last chapter, if you're being persecuted or ridiculed for speaking the word of God guys, or being made fun of, wear that as a badge of honor, because that means you're doing your job.
Verse 4, "...but as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but of God, which trieth our hearts." So, let's examine this, right?
He's saying, as we're allowed from God to be put in trust, like, no, it's God trusted us to preach His word, he's saying, the gospel.
Even so, when we speak, and it's not pleasing to men.
And just face it, right, when we all read the Bible, right, the first time, like especially Matthew, all of it, when Jesus starts speaking the words of red, He nails it down.
I mean, if you don't feel convicted, even now, like, you know, much as into faith I am, every time I read through the book of Matthew, I get convicted.
And as human nature, you don't want to be convicted, you don't want to be wrong, you don't want to be called a sinner and all that stuff, right?
Jesus convicts you, then they book him out to you.
It's not pleasing to men.
But God... Even now as faithful believers, it's still, you know, by human nature, right?
But we love it.
Because it knocks us down a pedestal.
It humbles us.
So, which tries our hearts, you say?
Because they went to hell.
Plainly speaking, they went to hell to bring the gospel.
People try to stone them.
I mean, all kinds.
Look what they did to Jesus.
Look what they did to Stephen.
The Jews, right?
They went to hell.
Live in hell.
Because it's not pleasing the men, the gospel.
You go out in the streets today, right?
LGBT rallies to preach the gospel, you get attacked.
But people do it with braveness, because they don't care about their selfness.
You know, they don't care about their self, um, health.
As long as they... A lot of these preachers out there, they're great.
These street preachers.
They know they can get killed or, um, attacked.
That's only if God allows it to happen, by the way.
But they don't care about their own health, because they want to bring the Word of God.
That's how the apostles were.
They gave up their lives to follow Jesus.
So, you say, when we preached, right?
When we went out preaching, we didn't use flattering words.
We didn't take people's answers.
We didn't disguise ourselves.
Well, covenants is the 10th commandment, right?
That you should not cover.
We didn't want things that other people had on ourself.
God is witness.
We just preached in the Word of God.
We were witnesses of God's testimony.
The Gospel.
Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, not yet of others.
While we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.
So, we didn't, you say, we didn't, you know, like today, we don't, like me right now, I'm not doing this for my glory.
This is for the glory of God.
Well, I'm not seeking glory.
Paul says the same thing.
When he went around preaching, right?
I didn't do this for glory.
For me.
Neither of you.
I'm not, you know, the same, you know, the people listening now, right?
I'm not preaching, I'm not teaching this for my glory or your glory.
Or anybody else's.
And when we might have been burdensome, yeah, people don't want to hear the truth.
You know, all of us don't want to hear the truth sometimes, right?
It's burdensome, right?
But as apostles of Christ, teachers, but we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherished her children.
So being gentle is like bringing the Word of God.
You don't swear and yell at them.
Even if they're cursing you, spitting in your face, be gentle.
Meekness shows, oh man, let me give you my example.
I know it's hard to bite your tongue, oh man, trust me when I tell you.
That's why I don't think street preaching is my calling.
Because I'd probably lose my cold punch somebody.
And that would be 100% ungodly to do.
Because you're supposed to be gentle.
And show love and kindness and mercy when you're doing something like that.
Now it doesn't mean that you get attacked in the street, walking down the street, you're not supposed to defend yourself.
That's not what that means.
When Jesus says turn the other cheek, it doesn't mean to be a push-over.
So if somebody insults you, especially the word of God, you know, be blessed.
Take it as a badge of honor because you're doing your job.
And remember, it's not that person necessarily that's attacking you.
It's the devil in them that's attacking them.
They're victims, guys.
Understand that.
If you're out there preaching and somebody attacks you, guys, don't take it personally.
It's not them individually, it's the devil in them that's confusing them.
So my hat, and oh man, I have so much admiration for those street preachers.
If you're out there a street preacher, God bless you.
You deserve, you know what I mean?
If there was any glory for us, you would definitely be the ones who deserve it.
You guys are on the front line.
Those are the true warriors of Christ right there.
I can't say enough about our street preachers.
That suffer a persecution and everything else.
God bless you guys!
May you guys get crowns and rewards and stuff from heaven for that.
Me, I'm just a guy behind a microphone.
That's it.
So we're saying, so being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls.
Because you are dear to us.
So he's talking to the people of the church here, of Thessalonians.
So being affectionate and desiring of you, like Paul's affectionate, he showed affection and desire for these people here, right?
And we were willing to have imparted, so I don't know what imparted means here, because again, you've got to understand words change.
Imparted, biblical meaning is to give or grant something.
All right, so impart means to give or grant something.
And so we were willing to impart, so to give or grant something, aren't you?
Okay.
Not the Gospel of God only, right?
Not just the Word of God, but our own souls.
In other words, giving up our own souls to Jesus, to serve Jesus for His purpose.
And it's not you're giving these people your souls, no.
You're giving it to the Lord.
The sacrifice and everything to bring the Word of God.
Because you are daring to us.
For you remember, brethren, our labor and treasure, y'all.
You know, the hard work they did.
And the test trials and, you know, all the stuff that came with it.
Because it's not a pretty sight, guys.
You know, it will be a pretty sight in the end when we're in the kingdom of God.
But right now it's not, because you're gonna suffer.
Jesus said that, you know, you will be persecuted for my name's sake.
I'm not gonna blow smoke.
I'm not going to tickle your ears.
I'm going to tell you the truth.
I've suffered a lot of trials and tribulations and all that stuff over the years.
But you know what?
This lifetime is nothing but a breath, when you really think about it.
When you're eternal with the Lord, it's going to be rewarded for you.
So he says, remember, brethren, our labor, our hard work, The persecution we suffer and all that stuff.
For labor night and day because we would not be chargeable unto any of you.
What does that mean, we would not be chargeable unto you?
In other words, you know, the Lord tells us to be a watchman.
If we don't warn people of the dangers to come, right?
He's gonna acquire our blood.
But if we warn somebody, hey listen, it's like, hey listen, what you're doing is wrong, right?
You need to change.
You're not judging them, you're telling them what you're doing is wrong, right?
And, at least you warned them, and their blood will not be upon your hands.
So, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you.
In other words, like, yeah.
Hard work, day and night laboring, like working for the Lord and trying to bring the Word of God to them.
You warned them, right?
So, you're not going to be charged...
You know, for many of them, right?
If they don't believe.
We preach unto you the Gospel of God.
And at the time, the Gospel of God was what?
The Torah.
And even now, it's the Torah.
I know a lot of modern day churches don't believe that.
But you know, what do they talk about?
There was no New Testament back then.
You talk about the Torah.
As he's going, the Word of God is being written.
So obviously, yes, the New Testament is the Word of God as well.
But right now, he's talking about the Torah.
You are witnesses in God also.
How wholly, and justly, and unblameably we have ourselves among you that believe.
Plain and simple.
We're witnesses of the Almighty God.
And I'm blameable.
They can't blame you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
You know, if you tell a gay person about what the Bible says, how are they going to blame you for that?
That's what God says.
It's not what we're saying.
God's saying that.
We just recite what God told us, right?
It's just one example, you know?
And we behave ourselves among you exactly, right?
So as you know, how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you.
As the Father does his children.
In other words, pump you up!
Encourage you!
Comfort you!
Because, you know, these types of trials and all that stuff with persecution.
You get despaired sometimes.
You're like, oh man, you know, you feel depressed, down.
Exhorting you and that's lifting you up.
Comforting you, like the Holy Spirit does, right?
Charge you, in other words, encourage you.
Give you the strength to go on.
We all need that sometimes.
I need that a lot.
It's either somebody that the Lord uses to do that to me, or the Holy Spirit does.
That you walk worthy of God, who has called you unto his kingdom of glory.
So you walk worthy, what's that mean?
Lead by example.
Don't just say I'm a Christian, or you know, follow Jesus.
Don't just talk the talk, you need to walk the walk too.
For this cause also, thank we God without ceasing." So thank God without ceasing.
Don't stop thanking God.
Because you received the Word of God, which you heard of us, you received it not as the Word of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God, which effectually works also in you that believe.
So don't receive it as of men.
In fact, like I say all the time, don't receive this word from me.
As I'm speaking, it's the Holy Spirit through me that's writing upon your hearts.
For you, brethren, became followers of the churches of God, which in Judea and in Christ Jesus.
For you also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have the Jews.
So understand that.
You know what I mean?
Because they suffered.
Things of your own countrymen.
Your own countrymen persecuted you.
Them, I'm sorry.
Even as they have the Jews.
So Paul's, you know... This is like lifting up the church right now.
He's saying... Yeah, you gotta go through these test trials and you did go through it, but don't give up.
Keep the faith.
Keep the fight.
Who both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets and have persecuted us.
And they pleased not God in our country, contrary to all men.
So you talk about in Judea, right?
The Jews killed Jesus.
They had him put to death.
They were responsible.
Pontius Pilate went to bat for Jesus.
The Romans didn't want to kill Jesus.
It was the Jews that forced him to do it.
The elders, not all Jews, whatever.
Not all people say, oh, it's all... You know, being anti-Semitic, no, it's nothing to do with that.
They did, that's what the Scripture said.
It says who both, they killed Jesus and their own prophets.
And they persecuted us, which they did.
Because they killed Stephen, and they ended up killing Paul.
And going after the other apostles.
And they please not, they don't please God.
But they're in contrary to all men.
Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that we might be saved.
Oh, look at this!
Oh, oh, look, what's this?
Because I, the last chapter I mentioned about the warning of these people going out now.
There's a new movement going out to say salvation is only for the Jews.
But why is Paul saying the Jews forbid them, the apostles, to speak to Gentiles that they may be saved?
To fill up their sins all the way and for the wrath that is come upon them to the utmost.
So the Jews persecuted them and forbid them to speak to the Gentiles.
They didn't want the Gentiles.
They said we're the only ones of God.
When Jesus offered salvation to everybody.
Because yes, the Jews were the God's promised people.
They didn't keep the covenant, they broke the covenant so many times.
Then when Jesus came along, salvation was now offered for the Gentiles.
That's why he went to the Hades when he was dead.
To redeem the lost souls.
But when we, brethren, being taken from you a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavored in more abundantly to see your face with great desire.
So being taken from you a short time in presence.
So Paul's saying like, you know, because Paul's not there.
You know, they were taken away from them being a presence.
You know, so he writes this letter.
Well, not in high, he's saying, but in end of word, end of word, I'm sorry, the more abundantly we see your face with great desire.
So he's seeking, you know, to see them, you know what I mean?
So, wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again, but Satan hindered us.
So, Paul's saying, like, because right now Paul's in jail, writing his letter.
Wrote his letter for them, right?
He's saying because Satan hindered him, that's why he's not dead.
Because he said, I abundantly seek your face with great desire.
In other words, I want to be there.
I wish I was there to tell you this in person.
But because Satan hindered him, he's in jail and he can't do that, right?
For what is our hope?
Our joy or crown of rejoicing?
What is it?
Are not even the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ that is coming?
So he's asking us, right?
Our hope and joy and crown of rejoicing, right?
Should be the coming of Jesus Christ.
For you are glory in joy.
So be glorified, be of joy!
Because when we're studying the word, guys, we're in the presence of Jesus right now.
When two or more gather in his name, right?
Yeah.
There is a Lord.
And we're studying, this is a church.
Especially the premiere going on right now, right?
There's at least, I know there's definitely more than two people in the chat room at the live premiere.
This is a church.
We're in the presence of the Lord, and we should rejoice and be glory and full of joy at the coming of Jesus Christ.
He's coming soon.
It's amazing stuff, guys.
