If you are receiving this transmission, you are the resistance.
Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com Shalom and welcome to the Dan Bedani Show on TruthRadioShow.com and welcome to the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 10 in this in-depth comprehensive study of the Bible.
So before we begin, like always, we do a specific Bible study approach.
Number one is to pray for wisdom and understanding.
So join me in prayer guys right now for wisdom and understanding.
Jesus Yeshua Messiah will come before you.
Thank you so much for everything you've done for us and continue to do for us.
To vouch for us and be our advocate, Lord.
Thank you so much.
And we confess our sins individually to you, sins, trespasses, any transgressions or abominations.
We ask you for forgiveness and we plead your blood upon us, Lord.
And Heavenly Father, we ask you to give us divine wisdom and understanding today and to help us understand your word today, 1 Corinthians chapter 10, that you may write these words upon our hearts today with the Holy Spirit.
And we pray that you can protect us all from the forces of evil.
And just bless everybody here, Lord.
In your mighty name, Amen.
And what we do, guys, is read the scripture in context, because context is key.
And let the scripture interpret scripture.
And if I sound redundant, I apologize, guys.
But this is what we must do over and over again.
Because even at times, I still got to remind myself to do these things as well.
Because we get wrapped up in things and everything else.
And we forget the simple things, the basics.
This is what a Bible study approach should be.
And, um, yeah, again, you know, we say all the time, don't take my word, everyone else's for it, read it for yourself, in which we're going to do it right now.
If you turn, take, open your Bibles, I'm sorry, turn to 1 Corinthians chapter 10, and let's get on with the study here.
And so again, Paul, his letter to the Corinthians, the church of Corinth, because he's trying to bring unification in the church.
But let's start off here.
So moreover, brethren, I would not That you should be ignorant How that all our fathers were under the cloud and all passed through the sea Talking about you know, the exodus, right?
So if you missed the last chapter, uh, any chapters before this I would highly suggest just shut this video off go watch chapter one and uh All the way up to nine to catch up what's going on So this is paul continuing.
Yeah And again, moreover brethren, I would not that you should be ignorant.
He's saying, I would hope you wouldn't be ignorant.
That's what he's saying.
Don't be ignorant.
How that our fathers were under the cloud and all passed through the sea and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea.
The cloud, what's that mean?
That cloud's like the cloud that God used to protect them from the scorching sun during the day.
When they fleed Egypt, when God freed them from Egypt.
And in the sea, which is the Red Sea, where God had Moses' pot from, to get all the Jews to safety from the Egyptians going after them, right?
And did all eat the same spiritual meat?
So, and these talk about, again, the exodus, right?
And did all drink the same spiritual drink?
For they drank the spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.
So it's amazing, isn't it?
People say, well, this happened before Jesus was born.
How could that rock be Jesus Christ, right?
Paul, he has explained it in Dirty Excellence, right?
Yes.
And if you don't know by now, if you've been following these series, guys, and how we taught here, what the Bible says, Jesus didn't just come into existence through Mary.
You know what I mean?
A lot of people think that Jesus just came into creation through Mary, right?
No, that's not the case.
He was manifested in the flesh through her, that's all.
He didn't become a creation.
Jesus walked the face of the earth, guys, for thousands of years before he was even born.
When God said, let there be light, he is that light from creation.
He talked to Moses, he talked to all the prophets.
I know it's hard to believe, and a lot of people can't comprehend that, but yeah, that's how it went.
He had to be manifested in the flesh to fulfill the will of God to die for us.
So again, Jesus didn't come into existence through Mary.
A lot of people don't understand that.
And it's hard for the carnal mind to understand these things.
Because we're so limited by laws that we set and everything else.
None of these things apply to God.
So once again, he says, yeah, don't be ignorant.
And he goes, how is it that our fathers in the cloud and the pastor in the sea were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and the sea?
And did all eat the same spiritual meat and all drank the spiritual drink?
And for they drank of that spiritual rock that followed them.
And that rock was Christ.
Jesus is here now forever.
In the past and the future.
Both many of them God was not well pleased.
For they were overthrown in the wilderness.
And we all know what happened there.
When a lot of these people didn't have patience to wait for Moses.
You know, this really irritates me.
I don't mean to go off on a tangent, guys.
But I gotta do this every time.
Yeah.
Alright.
You got let out of, first of all, the exodus, right?
When it first happened, right?
When the angel of death came over and killed all the firstborns of Egyptians, right?
You see supernatural things happen, automatically you should be sold, right?
Yeah.
In other words, I believe in you Lord, I'm not gonna question it, right?
They leave Egypt.
And they, excuse the language, bitch, complain to the moon that they didn't have, all they had was man on set.
So God gave them meat to eat.
And they still grunt about that, right?
So Moses goes up on a mountain because they couldn't wait and have patience.
They built a golden calf, which bowed, to serve a false god.
And yeah, and God destroyed those people that did that.
Because God was not pleased, as he says here, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
And they were very much overthrown.
Now these things were all examples.
To the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
So Paul is bringing up the old times, the old scriptures, saying, yeah, these are examples of what we should do, and what we should not do.
Example that we should love Jesus and God, right?
An example we should not do is lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
Neither be idolatrous, This is where it gets me when people say, oh, the Ten Commandments are no longer valid.
Well, why is Paul telling you don't be adulterous?
Idolatrous, I mean.
That's the second commandment.
Do not commit adultery.
Idolatry, I'm sorry.
Idolatry.
Worshipping idols and, well, statues and all that, right?
Yeah.
Don't bow to them or anything like that.
Paul's saying don't do that.
As with some of them, as it is written, referring to what?
The Old Testament.
The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.
Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day, three, and 20,000.
Neither let us tempt Christ, as some...
I'm not...
I can't think we're not doing the math, guys.
I apologize.
But I was like pondering on this for a minute.
So, it fell in one day.
Alright, yeah, okay, I'm sorry.
So, I was... Here we go.
So, they fell in one day.
These people... When I was saying how they went up on... When Moses went on the mountain, and they lost patience, they built a golden calf.
Well, during the celebration, during the golden calf, They had sexual orgies during school.
That's why he's talking about fornication.
They'll commit idolatry, which is God hates idolatry with a passion.
If you've read through the scriptures, you should know when it comes to idolatry, that's the second commandment.
God hates it with a passion.
He's destroyed entire cities for committing idolatry.
And not only did they commit idolatry, right?
Worship false gods.
They committed fornication, sexual orgies and everything else they committed during their little escapade.
When Moses came down, he threw the tablets down and he was pissed.
I can't come up with a better word, I'm sorry.
But he was pissed.
And God was even worse.
God wanted to just destroy them all, but Moses pleaded for the people, the good people, that didn't do the stuff.
So that's why God's like our, you know, Moses taught everybody who follows Baal, basically, you stay, you stay over there, and anybody that chooses to serve the Lord, come on this side.
And once the people who wanted to serve the Lord came on this side, God destroyed the rest of them.
The evil people, right?
They had them destroyed, right?
So, and they fell in one day.
So all these people fell in one day, and he said three and twenty thousand.
So it's 320,000 people in one day.
Because they choose not to follow the Lord.
They choose to commit idolatry.
And commit fornication and disgusting stuff they did.
Okay, and I'm not even going to get to details.
You just use your imagination.
Right?
Uh, 320,000 people fell.
Or slaughtered.
Because they refused to follow the Lord.
After all God's done for them.
And this is what bothers me the most.
Not only God didn't say, alright, I'm gonna give you a pillow, I'm gonna give you food, right?
Alright, you want meat?
I gave you meat, right?
I gave you a cloud to follow you so it could keep you shielded from the sun.
From the scorching sun.
At night, I gave you a pillow of fire to keep you warm.
I gave you water in the middle of the desert.
You think that would be enough?
And when it came to the Red Sea... When... Every one of them seen the Red Sea split.
Soon as they got across the Red Sea, the Red Sea crushed their enemies.
That alone should have sealed the deal.
I would have been like, uh, I'm never gonna disobey you again, bud.
Never, never.
After seeing all that, being through all that, are you kidding me?
And if I was there and I seen these people, uh, you know, with the cav and everything else, I would have probably smacked half of them.
Actually, all of them.
I would have smacked them right in the face.
Are you guys serious?
After all we've been through, you want to sit here because you're impatient because Moses is taking so long?
That you want to serve other gods and commit fornication before this disgusting idol?
You deserve what you get.
That's exactly what I told them, if I was there.
And they got what they deserved.
320,000 of these people died.
Because they thought they knew better than God.
After all God did for them.
It amazes the hell out of me.
It really does.
And I know I brought this up a couple other times too, guys.
I apologize.
But I have to bring this stuff up.
Because especially for new listeners and everything else.
This is what Paul is talking about.
And the thing is, today, guys, none of us have seen any of this stuff.
And I'm not saying we're better than them.
No.
Not at all.
But we choose to believe.
As the apostles talked about too, I forgot who it was.
No, I'm sorry, Jesus told them.
Yeah, Jesus told the apostles before he left, right?
He said, listen, you guys seen first hand me of what I can do and everything else, right?
And yet you still question me.
And he mentioned that people in the future are going to believe me just because of blind faith.
But you guys are here to see me do all these things and miracles.
And the people in the future are not going to see that.
But they're going to believe more than you.
That's what gets me.
And again, I'm not saying we're better or nothing.
But you know what I mean?
Here we are thousands of years later.
These people have been through this stuff.
And just reading it alone, it's like, wow.
I feel ashamed even when I send it.
I really do.
Because after all the Lord's done and still gives mercy, it's amazing.
It really is.
So sorry for the little tangent there.
destroyed of serpents.
So, neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, ye were destroyed of the destroyer.
Thank you.
Don't do these things he's saying.
God destroyed those evil people.
And the faith lost in them, the gods.
Now all these things happened unto them for examples.
Yes.
And they are written for admonition upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Wherefore let him that thinks he stands take he lest he fall.
So if you think you know it all, you think you know better than God, just like the 320,000 Jews, that they knew better than God, when they chose to do this disgusting stuff to idols and everything?
Before idols and all that?
Yeah.
You gotta fall.
Even thousands of years later, here in 2023, going into 2024, same thing.
Think you know better than God?
Well, guess what?
Every person throughout history that thought they knew better than God has failed miserably.
And it's led to nothing but death and destruction.
God knows better.
Hashtag God knows better.
I love using that against scoffers.
Instead of arguing with them guys, just put hashtag God knows better.
Anywhere out there has no temptation taken you but such as common to man But God is fatal.
Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able?
But will be able the temptation also make a way to escape that you may be able to bear it?
So this is very important to understand, right?
We all go through temptations, right?
Very important verse here.
Every one of us go through temptations.
And Satan picks the one that you're weakest at.
To put you in the very vulnerable place, right?
Now, what Paul's saying here, right?
When you suffer these temptations, right?
And you be tempted... God's only gonna do... let it happen as much as you can stand it.
But will the temptation also make us a way to escape?
That you may be able to bear it.
So, if you're tempted, right?
And most guys here, guys, let's play it simple.
Sexualities are our biggest temptations.
I know years ago, when I was tempted sexually, right?
And I don't know how I got out, okay?
Well, actually, I do, it was the Lord.
The Lord provided me a way to get out, a way of escape.
Now, I'm telling you, this was temptation.
Yeah, just use your imagination, right?
The Lord provided a way for me to escape it.
It was hard, but the Lord provided me a way to escape it that I was able to bear it.
And I am so thankful that that happened.
I really am.
And I'm using my example.
So think of the thing that you are the weakest at when it comes to sin.
Right?
And you're tempted with something.
Some people it's money.
You say you found an envelope, right?
It has a person's name on it.
Or in a place where you can just envelope or deposit things, you know, a hundred grand in it.
And yeah, you can maybe get away with it.
Then the temptation is like, oh, just take it.
Nobody's going to know.
And probably they won't know.
Maybe they will.
Who knows?
But God always provides, He always provides a way to escape it.
That you may be able to bear it.
So always pay attention to that.
I understand that.
And if you need more clarification guys, put it in the comment section.
Not the live chat, but the comment section.
And I'll definitely help you out with that.
But remember, no matter how bad the temptation is, there's always a way to escape it.
Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from my ill treat.
And back to here real quick.
Yeah.
There's always a way to escape it.
And he won't tempt you more than you can handle.
Anyway, we're for, my dear beloved, to flee from idolatry.
So, for you dispensationalists out there, oh, the Ten Commandments are abolished!
Really?
Why is Paul telling you to keep the second commandment?
This is what the second commandment is.
Do not commit idolatry.
That's commandment number two.
I know in the Catholic Church that doesn't exist, because they removed commandment number two, made number ten into nine or ten, and moved the rest out.
And I'm not here picking on the Catholics today, but I'm just saying.
That's what the truth is.
So, the second commandment, do not commit adultery.
Why is Paul telling you don't commit adultery?
Well, I guess the commandments are still law.
And I'm not even going to go down that road because I did it a million times on these series.
Jesus kept the commandments and taught man to do so.
Anyway, I speak as to wise men.
Judge ye what I say.
The cup of blessing which we bless is not the communion of the blood of Christ.
And he's asking, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ?
So the cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ?
The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
For we being many are one bread in one body, for we all are partakers of that one bread.
So again, to remind y'all, the purpose of the letter, the first Corinthian letter here, is to bring unity within the Church of Corinth, because the Church of Corinth is divided, remember?
And Paul's trying to bring unity into the Church, and also addressing many other issues as well that's going on in the Church.
Again, we ought to be one bread and one body.
If we were, all of us are partakers of that one bread.
Remind you, he's speaking to all believers here.
Behold, Israel after the flesh.
Are not which they eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?
So the people who eat of the sacrifice obviously are partakers of the altar, right?
What did I say then?
What did I say then?
That the idol is anything?
Or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is anything?
But I say that these things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils and not to God.
And I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
So, yeah, this is Paul saying don't eat or partake anything to do with things that are sacrificed to False gods and idols, right?
Which was, uh, the common thing was pork.
The swine, the pig, the hog.
These were the key animals that were used to be sacrificed to false gods, even to this day.
And you cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of the devils.
You cannot be partakers of the Lord's table and of the devil's table.
You can't serve two masters.
You can't.
You know, love one, hate the other, or hate one, love the other.
And do we not provoke the Lord to jealousy?
Are we stronger than He?
So, do you provoke the Lord to jealousy?
And you know, God said He's a jealous God.
His other name is jealous too.
A lot of people miss that term.
You know, God's got many names and titles, right?
One of them is jealous.
And do we not product a lot of jealousy?
Are you struggling with any?
Of course not.
No, we don't.
And no, we're not struggling with that.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient.
All things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
So, and I want to take, because people, especially dispensationals out there, they'll take this one verse to a whole different meaning.
So, Paul is not saying he can do whatever he wants.
It's not what it says.
So let's read in context.
Let no man seek his own, but every man's of another's wealth.
Whatsoever sold in shambles that eat, asking no questions for conscious sake.
For the earth is the Lord's, in fulfillment thereof.
So I always want to point that out because you'll get dispensations out there.
Especially ones that say the Ten Commandments of Baal Shem Tov.
They'll do this for us out there.
Oh, oh, all things are awful.
Really?
So you can go out and kill people and everything?
That's not what Paul's saying.
He's not saying it's lawful for him to go commit adultery.
Not at all!
If you're going to understand Paul, you could never take one verse.
This, where you take one verse and another demonstration to read the Bible in context, because context is key.
Like we pointed out in the beginning here, right?
Context is key when it comes to Scripture.
There's a perfect example of that right here.
One verse?
Yeah.
People take that out of context.
They do it all the time.
Paul's not saying he can do whatever he wants.
That's not what this says.
But again, let no man seek his own by every man's and another's wealth.
Whichever is sold in the shambles, they eat, asking no questions for conscious sake.
For the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.
If any of them that believe not bid to your feast, and you disposed to go, whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no questions, for conscience's sake.
But if any man says unto you, This is offered in sacrifice to idols, eat not for the sake that showed it, for the conscience's sake.
For the earth is as the Lord's, and fulfills thereof.
So what is he saying?
So this is the context.
Paul's not saying you can do whatever he wants, okay?
Because they'll say it when it comes to the food.
You know, the diet laws, whatever.
They'll say, oh, Paul says it's all lawful, you can eat whatever you want.
You can go eat pigs and everything else, yeah.
That's not what he's saying.
If you get invited to a feast, and that we brought this up, I think, um... I think the last book, too, was something similar to this.
Uh... If you get invited to somewhere and you... They hand you dinner, right?
Just eat it.
Asking no questions for conscious sake.
Don't just, just eat it.
Even if it's unclean, just eat it, right?
But!
If the person tells you, oh, this is offered into sacrifice to the idols.
Now you're like, no, you don't eat it.
For his sake, that showed it, right?
And for conscious sake.
The earth is the Lord's and the films thereof.
In conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other.
For why is my liberty judge of another man's conscience?
For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of, that which I give thanks?
That's his question, right?
Whether, therefore, you eat or drink, or whatsoever you do, do it all in the glory of God.
And give none offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the Church of God.
Even as I please all men and all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that ye day may be saved.
So, what is Paul saying here?
Right?
Let me use today's terms.
Just say, you got invited to a friend's house, right?
A friend's family dinner, right?
So, you want to go show an example.
Well, you know, I'm a Christian, whatever the case, right?
We're going to show an example.
So, the family prepares a meal, right?
They invite you to the home, whatever the case, and whatever is going on.
Just eat the food.
Don't ask questions, just eat it.
Even if it's pork, whatever the case, just eat it.
And just give thanks to the Lord.
That's it.
You know what I mean?
That's what Paul is saying there, right?
But, If it comes to a point where somebody brags about this, it's like, oh, you know, we, you know, we, you know, the Bible, you know, somebody says, oh, you know, the Bible says it's against the law.
We, you know, brings it up.
That's like, uh, yeah.
Offering food to sacrifice, uh, uh, sacrifice idols, right?
These, uh, you know, unclean meat, uh, meat and stuff.
Yeah.
Then you're supposed to say no.
I just hope I'm making sense here.
And if I'm not, please put it in the comment section guys.
Cause I don't, I don't want to goof this up here.
So I hope you get the point what Paul's trying to say.
He's not saying it's okay to continue to eat pork and everything else as you want.
No.
He's saying if you go somewhere so you don't offend people, because what you're trying to do is you're trying to, uh, what Paul's trying to do is please everybody, right?
Not seeking his own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
So Paul's just trying to help people.
In other words, if you go to your friend's house, and you want to bring them to the Lord, right?
They were all eaten, right?
And if you just come out and say, oh, God forbids us to eat all this stuff and all that, you're going to turn a lot of people away.
Now, what are you talking about?
Because these people are not even saved yet.
They're not going to understand that.
And unfortunately, that's not how it works, right?
Then later on, if you save these people, then later on you can give them the do's and don'ts.
But you can't hit them over the head with the Bible, so to speak.
That's what Paul's saying.
He had to humble himself for everybody.
The Jews and the Gentiles both.
So, again, if this does make sense to you, and it's very important to understand this, feel free to contact me.
But again, when Pu'al says all things the law for me, but they're not expedient.
And if you want to know what expedient means, because I forgot expedient.
It's an action of convenient and practical, although possibly improper or immoral.
So that's exactly what that is.
So convenient and practical, although it's possibly improper or immoral.
So, yeah.
All things are lawful for me says, but all things are not expedient.
All things are a loaf of meat, but all things are edified not.
They don't have, you know, so.
Yeah, so Paul's trying to say here again, right?
Just, if they hand you food, just eat it.
Yeah, because you're trying to witness these people, whatever the case.
I hope I'm just making sense here.
I just want to really nail this down.
So you can understand what he's saying.
He's not saying it's okay to go around eating unclean food.
That's not what he's saying.
Because again, what the Bible says, if any of them that believe not bid you to feast.
So you're saying unbelievers, right?
If an unbeliever is right, your goal is to wake them up.
Your goal is to bring them to Christ, right?
So if the unbeliever bids you to feast, no, it's invite you for dinner.
Right?
And you be disposed to go.
In other words, go.
They invite you to dinner, you go for dinner.
Whatever they set before you, eat it.
Don't ask no questions for conscience sake.
Because if you... If you say, oh what's in this lasagna, right?
I love lasagna, right?
So, my boss made me a lasagna and she gave it to me, right?
And it was the same thing, yeah.
Don't ask what's in it.
I could ask what the meat was.
Could be pork, it could be beef, you know what I'm saying?
For conscience's sake, don't ask.
That's what he said.
You get invited to an unbeliever's house and you try to witness to them.
Right?
They invite you for dinner.
He says, go to dinner.
And whatever they said before you eat, don't ask questions.
But!
But!
As somebody points out, this is offered in the sacrificial titles, don't eat it.
Plain and simple.
Cause your goal here, right?
Is not for your own profit, but the profit of many that they may be saved.
Plain and simple.
So I hope I explained that right.
And if I didn't, guys, please contact me in the comment section or email at truthradioshow at outlook.com.

And it's in-depth compared to the study of the Bible.
