If you are receiving this transmission, you are the resistance.
Declaring war on the New World Order.
truthradioshow.com Shalom and welcome to the Dan Bedani Show on truthradioshow.com and welcome to the 1 Corinthians book here and our in-depth comprehensive study of the Bible Welcome to chapter two.
So if you missed chapter one, please go back and watch in our playlist before we continue here.
So thank you all for joining us here.
And we do a specific Bible study approach, like always, to pray for wisdom and understand is number one and most important.
So let's do that right now.
So Jesus here, shall we come before you?
Once again, asking you for forgiveness of our sins, trespasses, transgressions, or abominations that we may have committed.
And please be with us, Lord Jesus, and thank you so much for going to Calvary for us.
Thank you for everything you've done for us.
And we plead your blood upon us, Lord.
We plead your blood upon our hearts, and our minds, and bodies, and souls, and our spirits, that we may accept your Word, because you are the Word made flesh, Lord.
And Heavenly Father, we come before you and asking you for divine intervention and wisdom and understanding and to give us the Holy Spirit to write your word today upon our hearts, in this case 1 Corinthians chapter 2 and comfort everybody that needs comforting and that's going through any kind of anguish, mental, physical, spiritual, emotionally.
We ask you to be with us, Lord, and comfort us all.
And we ask you to protect us all from the forces of evil, protect us broadcast, protect your word so we can minister in these dark times, Lord, in these end times.
That's going to bring the best times of all when your son returns to us through the clouds of great power and glory.
We ask you in your mighty name, we praise you.
Amen.
And that's like so uplifting, it really is.
When you pray to the Lord, you feel like invincible, like no.
Not that you're invincible, but you just feel that because of the Holy Spirit, because of God and Jesus, you feel the power.
And you're like, yeah, nothing evil's gonna do to stop you.
In Jesus' name, of course.
And what we do, guys, is we description context.
Very important.
Context is key because, again, like you said in the last chapter, many ministries and whatnot, churches and religions take Bible verses out of context every day and cause division.
And let Scripture interpret the Scripture.
Lean not on your own understanding.
So, as we go to Chapter 2 here, and we encourage you to open your own Bibles, 1 Corinthians Chapter 2, and remember, this is Paul writing a letter to the Church of Corinth, because there's a problem going on.
There's major division being caused in the Church of Corinth.
And he's telling people, you need to stop this, and we need to be of one mind and one judgment.
And like I said, the prior chapter here, Like today, the churches today, they're majorly divided.
Because of religious dogma.
And because Satan has infiltrated churches.
Causing division with different doctrines and different beliefs.
And when we all, if we all said, you know what?
Sorry to sound repetitive from the last chapter, but if we all said, I'm no longer a Catholic, I'm no longer Episcopal, I'm no longer whatever, you know, thousands of denominations Christian.
I am just a follower of Jesus Christ.
If we read the scriptures for what it says in the context, we'd be all on the same page.
We'd be all of the same judgment.
There would be no quarrels amongst us.
Especially dispensationism, guys.
They have corrupted the minds of so many.
Completely polluted the doctrines.
It's disgusting what they've done.
So I hope these letters to Corinth, the Church of Corinth from Paul, deal with the same stuff back then.
Helps us all today to stay on the same mindset.
And Paul says, continuing, "...and I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellence of speech and wisdom, declaring it to you the testimony of God." So he said, because again, you have the Jews and Greeks, right?
The Jews always wanted a sign, the Greeks always wanted wisdom.
They had, you know, scribes and philosophers back then, whatever.
But he's saying, I didn't come to you with any of that stuff.
I'm just here to declare the testimony of God to you.
I'm not going to sit here and show you a sign.
I'm not going to sit here and have perfect speech or wisdom.
And that's, you know, this relates to me too, because I get criticized all the time because I misspell words.
I mispronounce them constantly.
I stumble.
I butcher up names all the time, you know, and I'm not the perfect speaker.
Never claimed to be, never, probably never will be.
And that's what I'm doing here.
I'm just declaring the testimony of God.
I'm not here to give you a perfect speech or read this perfectly.
I'm going to butcher half these words.
I'll admit it.
I have no shame in admitting it.
I'm not an articulate person at all.
I'm just a testimony in the word of God, just like Paul's doing here.
Because I'm not here telling the Greeks.
I'm not here to give you wisdom and speech of wisdom.
I'm here to give you the wisdom of the Lord.
And I'm not here to show you signs and warrants.
I'm just here to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Same with me.
Because I know I get criticized by people about, you know, the way I speak and everything.
But, you know, it is what it is.
And, you know, if you could do better, come do it.
That's all I have to say.
And Paul says, For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and keep Him crucified.
So Paul's saying, I don't care, like, what you people think.
I'm not here to give you wisdom or science or anything like that.
You know, if I am determined not to know anything among you.
In other words, yeah, I don't care.
I'm not gonna, you know, this is what I'm here to do.
I'm here to save, you know, talk about Jesus Christ and his crucifixion.
You know, what Jesus could do for you.
So I'm not gonna get, you know, babble while I just do different things.
I'm here to teach the word of God.
And he even said in the past chapter, I'm not here to baptize people or any of that stuff.
Again, he's not criticizing baptism.
He said he's not there to do it.
His job is to pass the gospel of Christ.
That's all his job is to do.
So he's once again declaring the testimony of God.
That's all he's doing.
And he's telling me, you're not going to hear any great speeches of wisdom from me.
You're not going to see any wild signs and wonders from me.
I'm just simply here to give you the gospel of Jesus Christ.
And I was with you in weakness and in fear, and as much tremble.
So when you trembled, when you were weak, and yeah, when you feared, I was with you.
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, But in demonstration of the spirit and the power.
This is so awesome because I'm not, you know, I'm not at all comparing myself to Paul, guys.
You know, these guys did such wonderful things for the Lord.
I would never in my life, okay, even try to even remotely match me to be in anything like these guys.
These men were much better than I ever was.
You know what I mean?
I'm just saying, this is what I go through.
Yeah, people criticize me because of not having the taste in words and whatnot, right?
And wisdom and all that.
But yeah, this is the same what I'm dealing with, right?
My speech, too.
So was Moses.
He had bad speech.
But Paul's saying, in my speech and preaching, was not enticing words of men.
So because the thing, another thing too, like this is why I like Paul, because I, this reminds me of me as well, because I don't tell people what they want to hear.
Paul's saying, I'm not here to tell you, I'm not to entice you with different things.
I'm not going to promise you.
This is what the word of God is, like it or not, plain and simple.
It's not going to be, uh, oh, uh, flowers and glory.
Hardcore truth is the truth.
Again, my speech and preaching was not enticing words of man's wisdom.
He tells you the straight up truth, and the truth hurts a lot of people.
He's not there to tickle people's ears, and I'm not here to tickle people's ears either.
We're just here to give you the Word of God.
But in demonstration of the Spirit and power, we use the power of the Holy Spirit to demonstrate the Word of God.
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
In other words, yeah, who cares what the wisdom of men think?
These scholars out there, these professors or scientists, if they, you know, the so-called scientists, whatever.
Who cares what they think?
We're in the power of God.
God is much more stronger than them, much more smarter than them.
God knows best.
Hashtag God knows best.
Well, God knows better.
That always ticks people off when I do that.
You know, you got these evolutionists and whatever.
Oh, this and that.
You know, guess what?
Oh, you know, this scientist said this and it proves God wrong.
Nah, wrong.
Hashtag God knows better.
That just goes, that goes right up their rear ends.
I love it.
And Paul says, how about we speak wisdom among them that are perfect, yet not the wisdom of this world.
Know of the princes of this world that come to Nott?
Let me see what Nott means.
N-O-U-G-H-T.
Nott mean in the Bible.
This is what a Bible study uses, guys.
Look words up that we don't know.
So Nott is a sense of nothing, et cetera, in translation.
Words of a colonel don't know any words.
All right, so it's in a sense of nothing.
So that we come for nothing, alright?
So this is what he's saying.
How about we speak wisdom among them that are perfect, yet the wisdom of this world, nor the princes of this world, that come for nothing, to nothing.
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom which God had ordained before the world unto glory, or glory.
So, let's not speak wisdom in the world, who cares?
How about we speak wisdom of God?
Wisdom in the world is full of lies and deceit and stupidity.
Just because a person has a diploma on the wall says they're a scholar or a master or something, doesn't mean they're smart.
The wisdom of God is where real people become wise.
Remember what the Bible says.
It's written, right?
As it is written.
The Bible says, Those who profess to be wise are fools.
The people of the world are fools that profess to be wise.
Remember that.
But we speak the wisdom of God and the mystery, even hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory.
In other words, all the way God ordained it through the world unto our glory.
Which none of the princes of this world knew.
For they had not, they'd known, they would have not crucified the Lord of Glory.
So he's saying that if these people that crucified Jesus, if they've known of this glory, and actually listened to the Scriptures, they would have never crucified Him.
But as is written, again, here we go, how many times have we seen this?
And I'm going to point out, every single time.
Sorry, this sounds redundant to people when watching these, but I'm going to say it all the time.
How many times has Jesus said this?
How many times has Paul said this?
As it is written, we went through the whole book of Romans.
Paul said this quite a bit.
Jesus said it, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
As it is written, what does that mean?
Again, remember, there's no New Testament then.
This is the Torah and the Old Testament.
You know, the churches today say, oh, don't worry about the Old Testament.
No, you do worry about the Old Testament.
Because you will never, ever, ever begin to even understand fully the New Testament unless you know the Old Testament.
Because when he says that it's written, how would you know what he's talking about?
So referring, making reference to what?
The Old Testament.
He says, "...eye has not seen, nor ear heard." So, your eye hasn't seen, your ears haven't heard.
"...neither have entered into the heart of man." The things which God has prepared for you, them that love Him.
So, people of this, you know, the heart of man, right?
They have not seen or heard which God has prepared for them, that love Him.
But God has revealed them unto us by His Spirit.
What's that?
The Holy Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, yep.
Yeah, the deep things of God.
As we're learning today.
As we're speaking right now.
Well, as you guys are listening, I should say.
And I'm learning as I go along, too.
I'm not an expert in the Bible at all.
all i'm just going along with the scripture says and letting the holy spirit guide me so god reveals these things to us by his spirit That's why He went.
What do we do?
We pray for wisdom and understanding.
That's why we do this stuff, guys.
And we call upon the Great Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit.
For the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.
We are getting to the deep things of God, right here.
Stuff that the churches don't teach, they'll just read through the scriptures.
They'll read one or two verses, jump to another chapter, or another book, back and forth, frog hop all over the Bible, to paint a story that's not there.
Searching the things of God, these deep things, is reading the description context.
Understand what the words mean, and what it meant back then, the whole nine yards, as we do today.
In the series here.
For what man knows, the things of man, save the spirit of man, which is in him.
He's questioning, is the spirit of man, which is in him?
Even so, the things of God knoweth no man, but the spirit of God.
So if you try to understand this, I was saying like, yeah, you say the spirit of man, which is in him, is it in us?
But even so, the things of God, you know, no man knows.
I'm sorry, God knows no man.
But the spirit of God.
So we need the spirit of God for wisdom.
The Holy Spirit.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
So you see what he's saying here?
And I'm not condemning anybody that wants to go to college or anything like that, guys.
I'm not doing anything at all.
But you gotta be careful because the indoctrination in the public school systems, the education system, But I'm saying, right, you want to know true wisdom and understanding, guys, it's through the scriptures that we're reading here today.
We don't need to go get a PhD or a master's degree to understand this.
We don't need to be deemed a quote-unquote scholar by society or a priest or a pastor to be able to do this.
No.
The Holy Spirit's our teacher.
Nobody can teach the Word of God better than the Holy Spirit.
Because the Holy Spirit's the only one who can write this upon hearts, guys.
Not your pastor or some college professor.
And the thing is, half of them don't understand the spiritual applications of the scriptures.
Again, we have... Now we have received, not the spirit of the world.
We don't receive, you know, like today, right?
We're not receiving the spirit of the world.
But the spirit which is of God.
Holy Spirit, that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God.
Which things also we speak.
Not in the words which man's wisdom teaches.
This is awesome.
This is so awesome because this is like everything I talk about on my shows.
Like Spiritual Warfare Friday and all that stuff.
And I always tell people we need to learn wisdom from the Holy Ghost.
Not what the world deems, you know, these colleges and all that stuff.
The Bible academies and all that.
No.
Again, which things we also speak, not in the words of man's wisdom, you know, man's teachings and all that, but which the Holy Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
So this, I got goosebumps right now, I really do, because this is here, okay, this here is everything I've been talking about for a while.
That's why I'm constantly, constantly saying you can't learn the Bible through academia.
You can't learn it through a Bible academy.
You need to learn it through the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Ghost teaches better than anything.
Comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
Because people don't understand, you know, when people study the Bible in school, and which is great, you know, again, I'm not a cadaver.
But just because you got a piece of paper on your wall that says you're a scholar or a master at it, doesn't mean you're an expert.
I'm not an expert either.
There's spiritual applications to the Bible.
That schools cannot, they don't even know about.
They can't even teach nor fathom or even comprehend such a thing.
Again, this is awesome.
This gives you goosebumps, yeah.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God.
That's why I just got that saying.
It's awesome.
The natural man that goes to the college and all that, yeah.
They don't receive the things of the Spirit of God.
Yeah, sure, some of these guys can memorize scripture better than I could, but it's not written upon the hearts.
They don't know how to apply it spiritually.
The thing is, guys, yes, you need to know the scriptures, and you need to know the spiritual applications of how to apply it spiritually.
Because if you don't know how to apply the Word of God spiritually, it's useless to you.
There's so many people out there that know the Bible, okay?
Well, they think they know it.
They can recite it left and right, but they don't know the spiritual applications or know how to apply it.
The natural man receives not the things in the spirit of God.
They don't.
For they have foolishness unto them.
Him.
Yeah, the spirit of God.
They think, all right, we're just going to learn the scriptures.
But they can't understand the spiritual application of it, so it's foolish to them.
Neither can we know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Like I said, though, we can't know the Word of God without spiritual discernment.
That's why we pray for that at the beginning of the show.
This is awesome.
And I want to be honest with you guys.
I have not read this chapter.
When I first started this, I read the first chapter.
And what I did was I did the video of the first chapter.
I cut that and went right to the second chapter.
And I did not pre-read this ahead of time.
I read it years ago, obviously.
But I did not read this.
And this is giving me goosebumps right now because this is exactly how I teach.
Exactly the way Paul did.
That's why I can relate to this man.
And again, I'm not at all comparing myself to Paul or anything like that.
I would never call myself an apostle or a prophet or anything like that.
I am a servant of Jesus Christ.
That's all I am.
Nobody's special.
When it comes to humbleness, I have no problem humbling myself at all.
This is just awesome.
I mean, this is like really everything I teach.
And I'm going to repeat it one more time.
So, which things we also speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, right?
We don't teach what man teaches.
But teach what the Holy Ghost teaches us.
Comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
But an unnatural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God.
They don't receive the Holy Ghost.
For they are foolishness unto them.
The things of the Holy Spirit to mankind is foolishness.
Remember in the last chapter, Paul says, what they think is foolish is more wise than them, and what they think is weak is more stronger than them?
Now, yeah, they say, well, the last chapter, what the world thinks of God as being foolish, right?
God's more wise than them.
What the world thinks God is weak, right?
God's more stronger than them.
So, but the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him, Neither can they know him, because they are spiritually discerned.
They, you know, these things need to be spiritually discerned.
But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet himself is judge of no man.
What does that mean?
And last I have to talk about being on one page and being on the same discernment with judgment and all that.
Right?
Let me go back to that chapter real quick.
Right, yeah.
So this is chapter 1.
So this is chapter 1.
Because now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that you shall speak the same thing, and that be no division among you, and that you may perfectly join together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
Now going back to chapter 2.
But he that is spiritual judge of all things, yet himself is judge of no man.
So we don't worry about man judging us.
I could care less what man does to me.
The only person you have to worry about is the Father.
That's it.
At the end of the day, that's what I tell people.
I could care less what people think of me.
The only one I have to impress at the end of the day is Heavenly Father.
But anybody else I have to say and think, I could care less.
That's the attitude we need to have.
And for who has not known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ.
He's asking, who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?
Who?
That's his question, right?
But we have the mind of Christ Jesus.
And again, when he said to be, over the last chapter, when he said to be of one mind and all that, and no division, because the Church of Corinth was going through the same problems we have today.
Forty different, you know, at the time, well actually it's ten times worse than it is back then.
There's so much division in what people, you know, in the so-called Christian community.
Forty different thousand denominations of Christians, that's ridiculous.
I'm Episcopal.
Oh, I'm a Baptist.
I'm a Piscopelian.
Whatever that is.
You know what I mean?
A charismatic Christian.
I'm a, you know, assembly of God Christian.
I'm a Catholic or whatever.
How about you stop saying, you know, get out of those religions.
Stop saying those things and get out of these religions.
Say, guess what?
I'm a servant of Jesus Christ.
I'm a follower of Jesus Christ.
I follow the Bible.
That's it.
And we will all be on the same mind.
But this is awesome, man.
This gave me goosebumps, yeah.
Talk about the Holy Spirit.
And now we have received, not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit of, which is of God, the Holy Spirit there.
This is awesome, man.
It really is.
This gave me goosebumps here.
So guys, if you've got any questions or comments, please put it in the comment section.
And we'll see you for Chapter 3.
This is going to be a good book here.
First Corinthians.
And yeah, these are, I think, six chapters in this?
I believe.
Hang on a second.
Sixteen chapters.
Which is like relatively a short book.
So we'll see you for chapter 3 and it's going to be exciting.
But if you've got any questions, comments, or concerns, anything, not in the chat room, but in the comments section, please put it there.
And don't take my word or anybody else's word for it, really, for yourself.
Challenge every spirit, challenge me.
