Declaring war on the New World Order.
truth radio show dot com and welcome to the show on truth radio show dot com and welcome to the book of romans chapter 14 We got just two more chapters after this to complete this book.
16 chapters in general.
So again, welcome to the book of Romans chapter 14.
We do this in-depth comprehensive study chapter by chapter.
So let's begin, guys.
We do a specific Bible study approach like we always do.
Pray for wisdom and understanding.
The most important thing to do.
So let's do that right now.
And give thanks to our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
Thank you so much, Yeshua Messiah.
Please forgive us of the individual sins that we committed.
Individually, I'm sorry.
And we ask you for divine intervention, Lord, that you can help us understand your word today.
And Heavenly Father, we come to you and thank you so much for everything.
Thank you for the gift of salvation.
Thank you for life.
Thank you for the offer and just the chance to be in your kingdom with you.
And we pray for everybody that needs praying for that's within your will.
And please protect us against the forces of evil.
And we ask for the Holy Spirit once again to write your word upon our hearts today.
And that's our Romans chapter 14.
We love you so much.
Thank you so much.
In your mighty name, Amen.
So now we do guys, I'm sorry, we read the scripture in context, because context is key.
Like we just proved in the last chapter there, you can see how important context is.
You take your time reading the scriptures.
If you don't know what a word means, go look it up.
No shame in doing that.
You have to do that because now you can fully understand.
We proved that as well at the last chapter.
So, but description interprets scripture as we did again at the last chapter.
So actually, the last chapter we did, right?
We proved, right?
Just reading the scriptures, right?
The re-description context is key, right?
Context is key.
And we proved that description interprets description.
Like, at first we come upon The armor of light, we could at the time guess it could be the Holy Spirit, could it be Jesus?
But two verses later, it stated it's Jesus Christ, the armor of light.
So let's turn to chapter 14 guys.
I'm very excited.
I mean, this has been a great book, really has.
And a lot of people told me that Paul is hard to understand.
And I guess Peter said the same thing.
So, but it's been going pretty good.
This one I had to stumble with, guys.
I had to talk to John Hall.
We went through this thing, like, with a fine-tooth comb.
This chapter here, because I didn't know what was going on.
So, when John told me that the setting here, right?
Now, the setting here, where Paul is, right?
He's sitting and eating before scribes, before Pharisees, before Gentiles.
Yeah, probably before some juice lost.
So, there's a bunch of people eating from all different walks of life, if you know what I mean, right?
So, he's having a dispute with all these people about the dietary laws.
So, at first I was like, wait a minute.
When I was reading this, I just read through it and I'm like, wait a minute.
Is Paul saying it's okay to eat pigs and all that stuff?
But when, you know, I went to him, he's like, no, it's not at all.
He's having a conversation with people who do eat these things, right?
So keep that in mind, so you don't confuse yourself.
Because at first I was like, confused for a minute.
And I know the Bible doesn't contradict itself.
And I know Paul didn't support eating unclean meat.
So, let's begin.
Him that is weak in faith will receive you, right?
But not doubtful disputations.
And disputations is like a dispute, I believe.
Hang on a second.
second-- hey, guys.
I've got to reconnect my internet.
All right, there we go.
We've got the internet back.
So here we go.
Disputation, right, is to debate or argument.
That's what I kind of thought it was, but I want to be sure, right?
Disputations, because sometimes when it's spelled differently, it could mean something different.
So yeah, him that is weak and have Faith will receive you, right?
But not doubtful to disputations, which is arguments and debate, right?
So, as you can see, yeah, this is a big argument and debate going on here.
And, yeah, not paying attention to this last time I read it.
Of course, it was all fair.
I didn't understand the rest of this, right?
So, Paul's getting into a debate, okay, with people, again, scribes, Pharisees, Gentiles, all kinds of people, right, about eating, things they can eat, right?
So he says, for one believes that he may eat all things.
So that would be like the Gentiles, that would be like the certain, you know, pagans and all that.
Forgot to mention there's pagans in there too, guys.
Gentiles, pagans, Pharisees, you know, all kinds of people there, right?
So, for what he's saying, some of you may believe you can eat all things, right?
Another who is weak eats herbs.
So, it's a vegan, right?
So, here's Paul calling vegans weak.
They are.
I mean, they're weak people.
Maybe, I'm not saying they're mine, but most vegans, they have no strength.
There's barely any protein in the food, you know what I mean, the vegetables and all that.
You have to eat a lot of vegetables to get that much protein, right?
So, in general, a vegan is a weak person.
That's what Paul's saying too, right?
Yeah, he's talking to his people here.
And you can see the different groups of people he's talking to.
So again, I have to mention one more time, I left out a couple of people.
So you got vegans here, you got gentiles, you got pharisees, you got pagans.
And I imagine a couple of people, Jews are there as well, whatever the case, right?
So you got people, all these little different groups, right?
You know, these vegans too, you know?
So he goes, let him, Let not him that eats despise him that eats not.
So, you get all these people that are dead for the police, right?
Like, look at today, right?
I'm not saying all vegans do this.
A lot of vegans do.
Yeah, they want to be vegan.
That's their right to do that.
I respect that.
If you want to be a vegan, go for it.
I have no qualms with that.
It's none of my business.
But, some of these people go way beyond.
Way beyond, okay?
It's not alright you guys eat not eat meat right but now you want to force it down afterwards.
You have people just marching into restaurants that sell steaks and everything trying to shut the place down and calling us murderers because we don't eat meat.
But yes, Paul's saying don't despise people because of what they eat.
Or it's like us people who do eat meat decide to go in and despise them in our vegans.
Or us who eat clean meat despise the people who don't eat clean, right?
And vice versa.
So don't despise people for what they eat.
And let not him which eat not judge him that eats.
For God has received him, right?
So this is not saying it's okay to eat, okay, unclean food.
That's not what that's saying.
Don't despise each other, right?
That's God's deal.
If you got a brother there, you know, the Lord, and he's over there eating bacon every morning, like sausages and all that stuff, don't despise him for it.
Let God work that out with him.
You can advise him, but that's it, you know?
So look at this, right?
So don't judge another man's servant, whatever the case, right?
For his own master makes him stand or fall.
false.
Yea, he shall behold him up, for God is able to make him stand.
So look at this, right?
So don't judge another man's servant, whatever the case, right?
For his own master makes him stand a fall.
So people were like, yeah, if you want to go to the people who like eat food that's offered up, or that's not food, that's not food.
That's not food.
In the Bible, you gotta understand too guys, when you, the word meat is food that's clean.
The Bible never said any which way, right?
That unclean, unclean animals or meat, meat's something you can eat.
It can also be fruit as well.
So, don't judge another person, right?
Because his beliefs, the way he is, this master, right?
He's gonna make the guy stand or fall.
And he shall be holding up, right?
For God is able to make him stand.
So, if you're trying to help somebody with their, you know, dietary law, don't judge them enough and don't hate them.
Like, let God work through them.
Because God is able to make them stand.
And if they're not doing good at all, they're gonna fall.
So one man esteemed one day above another.
Another esteemed every day alike.
Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
Because again, you got people that are persuaded in their mind, I can eat pork and bacon, right?
Another one's like, oh, I can eat vegetables only, right?
I can eat steaks and everything else, right?
Yeah.
So let every man be persuaded in his own mind, right?
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord, right?
Which the day?
It's the Sabbath.
The day is the Sabbath, the seventh day.
And he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he does not regard it.
Right?
This is the fourth commandment.
So, those of us who do regard the day, you know, honor it, right?
Anyway, get the exact, if you want to put that.
It's always important to get the, if you're unsure.
Now it kind of, yeah, it's a third person singular, simple, present, in that form or regard.
So yeah, he's talking about other people with their regattas.
To notice favorably or with acceptance, to hear and answer.
He will regard the prayer of the Institute.
So you get an idea of where God flees, right?
So those who honor the day, literally, the Sabbath, they honor it unto the Lord.
And he that regards not the day, the people who don't honor the Sabbath, to the Lord he does not regard it.
So, you're not doing it for the Lord, because the Lord tells us, yeah, to keep the Sabbath day holy.
This was established on the day of creation, Genesis chapter 2.
The seventh day of creation.
Long before the Ten Commandments came along.
And it just was reiterated into the Ten Commandments.
It's not abolished, and we're like improved over and over again.
Especially when we get to Hebrews, you're gonna see what we're talking about.
So now, it says, He That eats, right?
Eats to the Lord for giving God thanks.
And he that eats not to the Lord, he eats not and gives God thanks.
He's not.
Yeah, so basically what it's saying, if you eat of the Lord, right, which is clean food, and you give thanks, right?
For he gives thanks, God thanks, right?
So if you're eating something bad, you're not going to give God dicks right?
And if you do, whatever the case, God's not really going to approve.
And I hope I'm making sense guys.
If I'm not, just let me know in the comment section.
If you need more clarification on this, I hope I explained it right.
Sometimes it's like, when I don't, people point it out, which I am happy to do.
If you don't understand this guys, or you think I'm not pointing it out right, please put it in the comment section, and I'll get back to you with the comments.
So, for none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself.
And that's pretty much self-explanatory, right?
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord.
And whether we die, we die unto the Lord.
And whether we live, therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
So we're the Lord's creation, right?
Which is true, the dead in Christ are in paradise, right?
And he's the Lord of them, and he's the Lord of us who are living.
But why does thou judge thy brother?
are in paradise, right?
And he's a lot of them and he's a lot of us who are living.
But why does Doe judge thy brother?
Why does Doe set a norm to his brother, right?
So, and see what a not is.
is a sense of nothing.
Zero, which is usually a number zero.
So yeah, nothing.
All right, so why?
Why do you judge your brother?
Why have you no sense of... Yeah, alright.
Nothing for your brother.
Like... For we... Sorry, guys.
For we shall all stand before the judgment of the seat of Christ, right?
So, why are you going to judge your brother?
Why have you said nothing... Like, think of nothing of your brother, right?
For you shall stand... We all shall stand before the judgment of the seat of Christ, right?
So yeah, you don't judge people for what they eat.
You know, we don't judge people.
We eat to sin, not to senders.
That's kind of about what he's saying, right?
And he says, for it is written, right?
Bringing up what?
The Old Testament.
The Torah.
For it is written, as I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall confess to God.
So, what does it say there?
Does it say that it's okay to eat all this stuff?
No, it's not saying that.
He's trying to tell everybody in this setting here, right?
Well, they're all eating dinner, you got people from all walks of life, right?
Vegans and Gentiles and pagans and everything else, right?
He said everybody, all of us are going to give an account to the Lord on Judgment Day.
Don't judge a brother.
Yeah, it's good to say, hey, if you follow Christ, maybe you should be eating and stuff.
This is what the Bible says.
That's all you do.
You don't judge them.
And let the Lord work through them, you know what I mean?
So, let us not therefore judge one another anymore, but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block, or an accusation, occasion, sorry, to fall on his brothers away.
So, a stumbling block, it's like basically you're putting an obstacle in front of them, right?
Or an occasion.
So, let me see what occasion means in the Bible.
Because, again, things sometimes mean a little bit different.
A time of conception or offspring.
Let's make sure I got this right here.
For a particular time, especially marked by a certain circumstances or occurrence.
All right.
So, again, this is what a Bible study is, guys.
No shame in trying to learn what a word means.
Especially, you got to understand, too, because sometimes the words back then, like when the King James Bible was written here, some words meant different things than they do today.
So, always understand that you should check the meanings of these words sometime.
So, yeah, let us, don't judge, therefore, one another anymore.
But judge his rather that no man puts a stumble back or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
Right?
Okay.
And I know I am persuaded by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself, but to him that sustains anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
So, we're just saying, people are going to say, well, he's saying everything's clean, right?
There's nothing unclean of itself, right?
No, Paul's talking about what God deems clean.
There's nothing unclean of itself, right?
He's not saying that pigs are unclean now.
But he goes on to say, but to him that esteems this, anything to be unclean, to him it's unclean.
So esteem this is to think, to reckon, all the connections in regards to honorable or valuable, right?
Okay.
To reckon, to think, right?
So, but to him that thinks anything to be unclean, to him it's unclean.
But if thy brother be grieved what thy heart there meet, now walkest thou not charitable, Destroy not him with thy meat for whom Christ died.
So, yeah, that's plain and simple.
You don't judge the person.
But, you know, when you have, uh, you like, you set your, hang on a second guys, let's get distracted over here by this other computer.
So, um, there's a lot of distractions today.
It's crazy.
It's like some of these videos when you try to do it, you got all these distractions going on around you.
So I apologize about that.
But yeah, if your brother grieves with thy meat, right?
Now walk is still not charitable.
charitable.
So let's see what charitable is.
It's the highest form of love, signifying reciprocal love between God and man that's made manifested It's an unselfish love of one's fellow man, right?
So, yeah, going back to the last chapter, he says the love one another, right?
So if your brother grieves with your meat, you eat, right?
Now love can still churnable, right?
In other words, show love for the person, right?
Just don't destroy him with the meat for whom Christ died.
Let not then your good be evil spoken of.
So don't go and yell, you know, criticize him and everything else, right?
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
So again, like, you know, so understand what's going on here, right?
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, right?
So understand what's acceptable to God.
What he deems clean and is approved of men, which unfortunately men approve of eating things that are not clean to God.
See what's going on here?
So again, he's in the midst of a bunch of people that are doing different things.
Vegans, and meat eaters, and people who do eat meat, but they only clean.
And other people who eat animals that are offered up to sacrifice for false gods.
So understand that, and where he's sitting here, right?
He's talking to people of all kinds.
You know, they eat whatever, right?
Well, he says, in these things that serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
So, you got clean and unclean right here.
So, edify another.
What does that mean?
To help one another.
So edify another.
What does that mean?
To help one another.
You're not judging them, but you are saying, hey guys, listen, you're walking with Christ now?
Yeah, alright.
So, I understand you eat pork and all that stuff, okay?
Not judging for you, do not, right?
But you need to understand we need to edify each other, right?
What I'm going to do is I'm going to show you the scripture that talks about this, right?
Then you read the scripture, read it for yourself.
Then, you know, whatever you do from here is up to you.
I mean, it's your deal with God, not mine.
I'm not going to judge you because you're eating something, you know, that's unclean.
Be peaceful with the present.
This guy I used to work with, for example, right?
At the radio station, right?
He was like, real cool with us, right?
So he come later on to say, hey guys, I gotta tell you something.
He's like, I don't know if you wanna go hang out with me, or whatever, be around me.
I'm gay, right?
And I told him, I was like, well, this is what I'm gonna do for you, because you're a Christian, right?
So I had him read the scriptures, right?
I gave him the scriptures to read.
I said, just do this, right?
And he goes, after he got done reading, I said, you read it?
He goes, yeah.
And he goes, all right, that's what I'm going to do, right?
I'm not going to judge him.
He's like, that's what the Bible says, and I'm going to walk away from it.
Yeah, it's like, he goes, oh, you know, because the Westboro Baptist Church was all over the TV, you know, saying God hates gays, and I know God hates gay, you know, like the act of it, right?
But salvation's offered up for everybody.
We all need to repent.
That means to turn away.
And I told them, the Bible wants us to repent and just turn away from these things.
But however, you wash your hands of that, we're not to judge them after that.
If they understand the Scriptures now, that's their deal with God.
You know what I'm saying?
Same thing if somebody's eating unclean food.
You show them the Scriptures.
That's edifying another, right?
We're edifying them.
That's it.
You don't judge them.
You don't put a stumbling block before them and make them hate you.
Because the thing is, if you make them hate you like that, like the scripture just said here, right?
If you make them... Where is that?
Oh, I stumbled.
If you make them hate you, or you put a stumbling block, they're not gonna believe.
They're gonna walk away from the faith, right?
So, you need to show them what the scripture says and let the seed, what you're planting, right?
Let God grow that seed.
You can't grow that seed for them.
God's got to do that.
The Holy Spirit.
Because it says, "...let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things whereof one may edify another." Right?
For meat destroys not the work of God, all things are indeed pure.
Again, okay, all things is of God.
But it is evil for the man who eats with offense.
So you need to read this whole thing, you know, so... For the meat destroys not the work of God, and all things are indeed pure, but it is evil for a man who eats with offense.
Do you see what this is saying?
So right away, somebody's saying, whoa, whoa, whoa, look at this.
Paul's saying all things are pure in the deep world.
All things of God.
Right?
Because it goes on to say, because it is evil for man who eats with offense.
When you're eating unclean food, right, you're offending God.
And again, you know, you don't cause a stomach bug for them.
But however you need to tell them the truth, and that, you know, don't... After you tell them the truth, just, you know, walk away from it.
Let them deal with it with God.
You know what I'm saying?
So all things are indeed pure of God.
But it is evil for that man who eats with offense.
And eating unclean food is offensive to God.
Because he wouldn't spend chapter after chapter after chapter Of explaining what's clean and what's not clean.
And again, apostles, right?
Jesus himself, they never ate unclean stuff.
It is good neither to eat flesh nor to drink wine, or anything whereby thy brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak, right?
So he's talking about vegans here, right?
Oops, sorry.
So he's not saying it's not good to eat or drink, you know, eat flesh, right?
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I mean, forget everything I just said.
I just messed up on that.
So it is neither good to eat flesh or drink wine, right?
So, again, these words are very, very critical to understand.
I almost goofed up.
I apologize, guys.
So let me restart this part, right?
So it is because that one word, right, that one word, So look at the word here, it's flesh, right?
That's not meat.
Eating flesh, in other words, he's saying about eating things that are unclean, right?
So it's not good to eat flesh, right?
Things that are unclean, or drink wine.
And people say, well, Jesus drank wine.
No, he's talking about getting drunk with it.
Right?
Drinking it stupidly, right?
So, no, anything whereby thy brother stumbled or offended or made weak, right?
So, he's saying don't do these things because it's going to make you stumble and offended or made weak.
Sure, it's good to have, you know, a sip of wine, but that's what he's talking about.
Have you faith?
He's asking.
Have it to thyself before God.
Happy is he that condemneth not himself in the thing which he allows.
And he that doubts is damned if he eat because he is not of faith for whatsoever is not of faith in sin.
So, that's the closing right there.
Thank you.
So if you have people that doubt your faith, it's in heat, right?
Because if it eats, it's not of faith.
Whoever is not of faith is sin.
So in our faith, we're not supposed to be eating unclean stuff.
Which therefore it's sin.
So, again, you've got to understand what's going on with Paul.
He's sitting before people, you know, vegans, pagans, gentiles, different types of people, right?
They eat different things.
And he's telling them, because everybody's arguing at this point, right?
About what's good to eat, what's not to eat.
Vegans are saying, how dare you people eat the meat!
Then you got people yelling at vegans, and then you got meat eaters yelling at each other for eating clean and unclean food.
So Paul's trying to get everybody relaxed and say, all right, don't judge, don't yell at everybody for what they're eating, right?
If you, you know, that's between you and God.
And he's trying to reach out to people too, you know, without pushing them away from the faith.
That's what's going on here.
So if you've got any questions or comments, I know this was a little difficult, okay, to understand.
Because this chapter right here stumbled me, and I'm like, well, all right, I gotta keep reading it.
Then I had to call John Hall and meet him.
I had a Bible study on this.
So when he explained to me this is the way, you know, Paul is, he's sitting there before dinner, before all these different people, right?
So I'm like, oh, okay, that makes sense now.
So he's addressing everybody with their own day.
And he's telling everybody you should give thanks to God, no matter what.
And let the Lord work through the person.
But again, at the end, he that doubts is damned if he eat.
So if you doubt, okay, what you eat, you're damned if you eat it.
In other words, if he's in there, what I'm like, I'm just gonna eat it, and you're doubtful of if you should eat it or not, because you eat it, it's not a faith, right?
And whatever is not a faith is sin.
What's sin?
Transgression of the law.
Right there, right?
Hang on a second, I forgot what the rest of this is.
I don't usually jump over the Bible like this.
Look!
Alright, check this out, right?
So, what's the law?
The law is to prevent you from eating unclean food, right?
And now the laws weren't abolished because Jesus said so.
So again, He that doubts what you're eating, right?
You're not eating of faith.
You're taking a chance, right?
Whoever is not of faith, right, is what?
Of sin.
What is sin?
Whoever commits a sin is transgression also of the law.
For sin is transgression of the law.
That's 1 John chapter 3, 4.
Plain and simple.
So this year really helped me a lot, because he's saying if you're a sinner and you're transgressing the law, right?
In the law, you can't eat unclean food.
And you know that he was manifested to take away our sins, and in him there's no sin.
Whoever bites on him sins not, and whoever sinneth has not seen him, neither known him, right?
So if you're over there swallowing down all kinds of, you know, I eat shellfish once in a while, I shouldn't be doing it, but if I eat a bunch of shellfish, I mean seafood, I'm sorry, I come across a piece of shrimp or something, I eat it, then I'm like, oh, darn, you feel convicted later, right?
So nobody's perfect, I still got stuff to work on.
But it's not an excuse because when I do that, I'm living a sin.
And I gotta repent for that.
So I hope this clarifies what we're talking about here, right?
So, and I doubted at first, which was eating that, you know, the shellfish, right?
I stopped eating most of it.
It's just the shrimp, you know, that's, uh, sometimes I'll take a couple pieces, you know what I mean?
And I know I shouldn't be doing it now, but God forgive me for that, but yeah.
But if I eat of faith, I'll avoid the stuff.
And I definitely avoid all kinds of pork, that's for sure.
But whoever is not of the faith is in sin, right?
The sin is transgression of the law.
Plain and simple.
So after all this reading here, you understand that, yeah, it's not condoning eating bad stuff.
And Christ is a scepter of God.
These things are served as Christ is a scepter of God and approved of men.
So yeah, if you got any questions or comments or anything, I know it's a little tricky today.
So please put them in the comment section and I'll get back to you.
Not the live chat, but the comment section.
So thank you all for tuning in here.
We got two chapters left to go in this book of Romans.
