Was Jesus Tempted By Satan? Debating A Bible Scoffer’s Post

So I want to create this video and please pardon the beeping in the background.
The building, the fire panel in the hallway is beeping for whatever reason.
Nothing's wrong.
I want to show you this bloke here, this guy who claims that Jesus was tempted, right?
And this is Sheikh Adam, and he's a contributor in this website, this Facebook page, Book of Revelation and Bible Prophecy Church by Revelationscriptures.com.
So, these open debates, whatever the case.
So, I want to show you this guy here.
What he does too is he uses occultic esoteric symbolism for his profile.
This is a common theme when you see these Bible scoffers out there.
They'll have stuff like this, right?
And I'll try to show you the others later.
But the thing is, they know down well what they're doing, right?
And the thing is, they know the scriptures and they know how to manipulate the scriptures too, right?
So, his meme today, right?

So anyway, he tries to make a case, right?
And his case is, it is proved in the Bible that Jesus was not divine, right?
This is what he's trying to say, right?
So, is Jesus God?
Can he be tempted, right?
So, he puts out the fact, right?
This Bible verse, James 1.13.
For it is not possible for God to be tested by evil, right?
We'll show you what these verses say.
And that's true.
This is 100% true.
And this is how Satan works, right?
They use scripture.
And the thing is, Satan, the demons, the fallen angels, people who work for them, you know, humans out there, they know the Bible.
And unfortunately, they know it better than most Christians today.
And yes, this is 100% truth.
Now put something truth in there to mis-screw it with something that's a lie.
Now, he put Jesus was tempted by Satan.
It's not a question.
He just says, hey, Jesus got tempted by Satan, right?
Puts Matthew 4, 1-11, right?
So now, at face value, most people are going to see that that don't know any better.
Oh, wow.
You know what?
Oh, man.
This guy might be on to something.
It's either a Bible contradiction or, you know what?
I guess Jesus was not divine because he was tempted by Satan.
But does Matthew chapter 4 really say that?
Now, again, if you challenge us to verse 113, which we're going to do right now, right?
Let's go to...
This is James chapter 1, verse 14, right?
And it says, Let no man say when he is tempted.
I am tempted of God.
For God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempted by any man, right?
Now, notice how they only put a half the verse on it, right?
But still, it's regardless, it's true, right?
So we get the fact that James 1.13 does in fact say that, right?
So, somebody might, if they go challenge it, they'll say, alright, this is one verse, let me go read it, right?
And a lot of people are lazy.
They'll say, you know what?
I heard about the story about Satan trying to tempt Jesus.
I guess it must be true, right?
Is this truth or is this a contradiction?
What?
No.
Again, these people know the Bible.
They know how to manipulate it, right?
So, now, let's...
Before we give our opinions about anything, right?
Let's just go to the source.
And I know most people won't read that.
Like, in the churches today, right?
You'll have some pastor out there, some clown on TV, right?

They'll throw something out.
Oh, the Bible says this in Matthew, whatever, you know?
They know darn well most people are not even going to go bother reading it.
They know that, right?
And that's the problem.
Because people don't know the Bible on their own.
They don't know how to read the Bible on their own.
And they're too damn lazy.
That's the problem.
And I'm being blunt.
I don't care.

Matthew chapter 4, let's read it, right?
In context.
Now, in this particular situation, right?
The context of what this is talking about, the temptation, right?
Is chapter 4, 1 through 11. The rest after 11, Jesus went into Galilee because he heard that John got arrested.
He was thrown into prison, right?
So, let's read this in context.
So, let's see if Jesus was tempted by Satan.
Was Satan successful?
Right?
So then when Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
So to be, right?
It doesn't say he was tempted.
To be tempted of the devil, right?
The devil's going to try to tempt him, right?
So we're going to show you the rest.
The whole thing with this says, right?
And when he had fasted for 40 days and 40 nights, he was afterward hungered, right?
He was tired, hungry, thirsty, the whole night.
Imagine just being in the wilderness, in the desert.
Forty nights without no food or water.
Yeah.
Just imagine that.
I mean, I couldn't even go two days, to tell you the truth, in the desert, especially, without food and water.
So, when a tempter came to him, that's Satan...

And could have Jesus turned that to bread?

So was Jesus tempted?
Satan tried to tempt him.
Now what did Jesus say, right?
Jesus answered them back and said, it is written.
Now, here's the thing.
I bring this up all the time, guys.
If you don't know the Old Testament, don't bother reading them now.
Because I don't know how many times Jesus and other churches say, oh, just read the New Testament.
No, you're not going to know the New Testament unless you read the Old.
Because Jesus refers to the Old Testament and the Torah.
So anyway, Jesus answered Satan and he said, it is written, right?

Man shall not live by bread alone, but every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Now, was Jesus tempted here so far?
No.
He resisted that temptation, right?
So, Satan again tries to tempt him, right?
He takes Jesus up into the holy city and sets him up on the pinnacle of the temple.
So, they're up on the roof of the temple.
In Jerusalem, right?
So, now Satan said unto him, if you be the son of God, cast yourself down.
In other words, throw yourself off the building.
Jump.
Because Satan says, oh, because again, Satan knows the Bible too, right?
Just like these EU people, right?
He says, oh, for it is written, he shall give his angels charge concerning you.
And in their hands they shall bear thee up.
At least at any time you wouldn't even dash a foot against a stone, right?
In other words, he's saying, which it is, it's true, it is written, that the angels will be protecting Jesus in the flesh, right?
So if Jesus did fall off a building or a mountain, the angels would catch him.
So, is Jesus going to be tempted by this, right?
Well, Jesus said, hey, and Jesus could have very well leaped off that, and no harm would have happened.
He wouldn't even dash the sword.
But Jesus told him, it is written again, Thy shall not tempt the Lord thy God.
Right?
And this should be enough.
This should be enough to shut these blokes up.
Right?
Nope.

And again, Satan, the devil, this is his third temptation now.
Takes Jesus up to an exceedingly high mountain, showing him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them.
And he said to him, right, all these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me, right?
Now, I know some Bible skeptics out there, some people who just limit God and these spiritual beings to human limitations.
Now, can anyone just go up to any mountain in the world and see all the kingdoms of the world, even with a telescope, right?
The best telescope in the world.
Can we do this?
Absolutely not.
But again, you've got to understand these are spiritual beings here.
They have the ability to do this.
And if you don't think so, you're limited to God's power.
Right?
I'm going to get to your comments in a minute, guys.
So, this happened.
So, Satan's shown Jesus all the kingdoms of the world.
Remember, the Bible does say that Satan is the ruler of this world, the prince of this world, until Jesus returns, right?
Because he was cast here.
Until Judgment Day.
So, Satan's saying, I'll give you the whole world, Jesus.
You can worship the world.
I mean, I'm sorry, everybody will worship you.
All you have to do is fall down and worship me.
I'll give you everything, right?
So, and Jesus, what did Jesus tell him?
Get behind me, Satan, for it is written, right?
Thy shall...
Worship thy Lord, thy God, in him only thy shall serve, right?
Referring to the first, what?
The first commandment.
Have no other gods before me.
So, what happened after that, right?
The devil said, oh, I failed.
Three big temptations, I'm trying, there's probably more, but three giant temptations, right?
He would have gave Jesus the world, right?
Jesus said no.
And right here, verse 11. Then the devil departed him, left him, right?
Just left.
And behold, the angels came and ministered unto Jesus.
Glorifying that he resisted the temptations of the devil.
So now, let's go back to Mr. Shake Adam, right?

So I want to, you know, demonstrate this here.
So, now looking at this meme again, right?
Is Jesus God?
And can he be tempted?
And his big thing was, oh, it is proven from the Bible that Jesus was not divine.
So he's trying to say that Satan, because it says right here, Satan tempted Jesus.

And try to make it look like it was successful.
And he puts the truth here.
And that's what the evil does.
They use some of the truth, right?

Jumbled up verses.
They do this all the time.
They do this in false ministries.
They do this on the televangelist shows and all that.
And Satan does it himself.
And these Bible staffers do this all the time, right?
You've got to really be careful, right?
Before you mouth off these people, really examine us before you do that.
And you've got to clearly see, right, clearly, that this whole thing Jesus was tempted by Satan, right?
No such thing happened.
None at all.
So this was my response to this guy, right?
So, again, this guy says, oh, it is proven from the Bible that Jesus was not divine, saying Jesus was tempted by Satan, right?
So what I wrote to him, and I don't hold back, so sorry for the shakiness here.
So I said, it is proven that you are using these two verses out of context.
Also, if you bothered to read Matthew, all of it...
In the context there, you would see that Satan was not successful in tempting Jesus.
And when Satan tried to tempt Jesus, Jesus told him, For it is written that you shall not tempt the Lord thy God.
So read verses before making dumb memes next time.
And I mean, really, do you people ever bother reading the Bible?
All these things, I mean, while shake Adams, learn how to read things correctly.

This is the biggest problem with things like this because people do not read the Bible.

And if people go to the churches, tell me how many people in your church are lazy?

And they know most people are not going to challenge it.

The Bible says in Genesis that the earth was created first.
Okay, that's Genesis 1. Earth was created first, and the sun, moon, and stars were not created until day 4. So let that, and also it talks about a firmament, and there's what is between the firmament.

And what we call space is a firmament, and there's what is above the firmament and below the earth.
That's what the Bible says.

So next time somebody tells you, oh, bow is Lord too.

So, and he said, let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
What does that mean?

This was all water at one point, and he divided it.
The firmament is the division between the waters, from above and below.
The Bible says, and God made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament itself.
So above what you call space is water.
It's not maybe, it could be.

How is there already grass and trees and all that?
How is there all the seas and all that stuff?
How is there land?
How is this all possible?
There's no sun, moon, and stars yet.
And God said, let there be lights now.

Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven and divide the day from the night and let them be for signs and for seasons, for days.
Now, yes, guys, and you bring this up, people say, oh, no, we're supposed to stay away from astrology, right?

The stars and all that in heaven are supposed to be used by Christians For signs and seasons and all that stuff.

So, it is not a sin for people in the scriptures to be using the stars and the seasons for prophecies and seasons.
For fortune telling, yes it is.

Anyway, so, let them be for the lights of the firmament and to give light upon the earth, and it was so.

And God set them in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth, right?
Now this is day four here, right?
And to rule over the day and over the night and from the darkness that God saw that it was good, right?
And now, and even in the morning, we're the fourth day.

So what happened here?
On the fourth day, what?
You've seen all the, you know, what you call planets and clusters and galaxies, all form, right?
And the great light to rule the day...
The greater light to rule the day is what?
The sun.
The less late to rule the night is the moon, right?
So, for people who don't believe in this, right?
For four days, how did the earth exist?
Now, take notice, right?

Notice how NASA and the world scientists preach the exact opposite.

Notice how they say there was a big bang, the universe was formed, the galaxy was formed, then our solar system, then the sun, then the earth, right?
That's what they say.

And not only the Bible says this, guys, every ancient culture on the planet has the same cosmology of the earth.

I used to correct the teachers on my exams and everything.
I actually read my senior high school science exam.
Because we do one on astronomy.
I actually went because the teacher got everything dead wrong, what I thought was.
And I thought it was a cat's meow.
Come to find out I was just more indoctrinated.
So when I come across biblical cosmology, for me, it was the hardest thing ever to get over that block.
And things started making sense.
The Holy Spirit reached out to me and things all automatically started making sense.
And even from a scientific point of view now, science does back us.
I gotta do a show on this.

God bless you you know not and you see that today a cultic pagan holiday Western I know people up there say the 4th of July is an occultic holiday.
Well, there's a lot of occultic holidays, but remember too, guys, just remember, again, they like the pervert holidays.
Like April 19th, right?
Patriots Day?
It was the day when we fired the first shot.
After that, they started doing false flags on, you know, the evil people started doing false flags on April 19th.
So, I wouldn't say the 4th of July itself, the celebration is, because remember, it was God-fearing people that founded this country.
The people themselves.
And I know some of the founding fathers were deists, some were in the occult and all that, but for the most part, this was founded by Christians.
So, you know, celebration, you know, just to honor the birth of our nation is not an occultic thing.
You know what I mean?
And even if it does fall on a pagan holiday, we're not honoring that.
You've got to revere that.
You know what I mean?
You're going to venerate, I'm sorry.
If you venerate July 4th for the pagan reasons, then you've got a problem.
But if you was like, all right, we're going to celebrate the birth of our nation, there's nothing wrong with that.
And I don't...
I mean, I love the flag and all that.
I respect it all, but I don't worship it myself.
You know what I mean?
I worship Jesus Christ.
I should have done a show on that, too.
