The Clarence War on the New World Order TruthRadioShow.com Shalom and welcome to the Dan Bedani Show on TruthRadioShow.com And welcome to the Book of Acts, Chapter 15 If you missed Chapters 1-14 I encourage you to go watch those first before we start here
So, this is Chapter 15, an in-depth, comprehensive study of the Book of Acts.
So we go chapter by chapter, like usual, and most important, guys, before we even begin, we do a specific Bible study approach, and number one here is praying for wisdom and understanding.
This is very important, guys, to follow these steps here.
So, number one, let's stop.
We're in prayer to our Lord and Savior, Yeshua Messiah, Jesus Christ, we come before you.
And please forgive every one of us, individually, for trespasses, sins, abominations, or anything that we may have committed evil, Lord.
We pray that you can cleanse our heart, our mind, our body, our souls, and cleanse us from all sin, to make us pure before the Father.
And thank you so much for going to Calvary for us.
Thank you for everything you do for us.
We love you with all our heart and soul.
In your mighty name.
And Heavenly Father, we pray before you and ask you to give us the Holy Spirit to write your word upon our hearts.
The book of Acts chapter 15 today.
To write your word upon our heart and to give us divine wisdom and understanding so that we don't lean on our own understanding but get the direct teachings from you, Heavenly Father.
And we pray to comfort everybody that's going through anything, any problems, spiritual, emotionally, physically, whatever the case, we pray that you can comfort them, heal them, Lord, and encourage us all, and protect us all from the forces of evil.
In your mighty name we pray, amen.
And also, guys, read the scripture in context.
Very important.
Context is key.
Let the scriptures interpret scripture.
So, actually, you know what, guys?
I know you hear this a lot, but take a screenshot of this.
This Bible study approach.
Take a screenshot of this.
So every time you read the Bible, this is very important to go through.
Because what it does is it clears our minds.
It clears any sins that we have, whatever the case, you know, confessing to Jesus, of course, you know what I mean?
And it gets us right before the Father.
It gives us that technique, if you want to put it that way, to indulge into the Scriptures.
This way we get fully spiritually charged up and we get a clear conscience and everything that we can go into the Scriptures, dive into them, and completely understand them.
And people listening at ShakeAwakeRadio.com, thank you for tuning in to Audio Edition.
And if you're on our YouTube channel here, we got the King James Version of the Bible.
And if you don't have a Bible, if you're not on the Video Edition here, open up your own Bible.
If you do got a Bible, regardless, open it up.
So we got it up on screen, King James.
So turn to Acts chapter 15. And as you know, this is a continuation from 14. This is a continuing ministry of Paul and Barnabas.
And the other apostles.
So, just keep that in mind.
So, again, if you want to refresh in chapter 14, go for it, because this is a continuation of that.
So, let's go 15 here.
And a certain man, which came down from Judea, taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, you cannot be saved.
Because remember, this is a transition going on, right?
The Old Covenant into the New Covenant.
Now, I want to point out the old covenant, the new covenant, I'm sorry, doesn't cancel out the commandments.
I want to point that out because modern day dispensational churches teach that.
That you don't have to follow none of the commandments, none of that stuff at all, which is heavenly natural.
Not at all.
Highly natural, I should say.
I want to point that out, but this is what their customs were at the time because the gospel of Jesus is still spreading throughout the world.
The Middle East going into Asia and everything else, and also Europe, I'm sorry.
So, yeah, alright.
So, the Gospel's still spreading, right?
And a lot of people are still learning about Jesus, right?
And they're accustomed to the laws of Moses.
Right?
So, these people saying, yeah, you cannot be saved unless you get these things done.
That was the old laws, right?
Right?
Now, when therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and a certain of them should go to Jerusalem and to the apostles and elders about this question.
So to discuss this, this is a question here about being saved, right?
In Judea, they were teaching, yeah, you have to follow the Lord's Moses.
You can't be saved unless you're circumcised.
And that's what they're saying, right?
But however, in being brought on their way by the church, right?
They pass through Phineas and Samaria, declaring a conversation of the Gentiles.
So, this is a conversation I talked about, being circumcised and not to be saved, right?
And they cause a great joy into all the brethren.
And when they were coming to Jerusalem, they were received with the church and the apostles and the elders.
Now, mind you, the church is we the people, right?
Go follow Jesus.
We're the church.
We're not a religion.
We're not anything like that.
I got to all the time emphasize that.
It's not the Catholic church, okay?
The Catholic church didn't exist at this point.
And I know the Catholic Church loves to make up false history.
And I'm not just bashing them.
I'm bashing every religion out there.
Every single one of them.
We don't follow religion.
We follow Jesus Christ Himself.
Through the Word of God.
So the Church is us.
The believers.
Not Catholics, not Episcopals, not, you know, evangelist Christians or anything like that.
We, the people, follow Jesus without none of those religious labels, without none of that religious dogma.
We follow the Bible, not dogma.
It's a big difference between the two.
So, and when they come into Jerusalem, they were received of the church, right, the believers, and the apostles and the elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.
Declaring that the message of God, right?
But there rose up a certain of the sect of the Pharisees, which believed, saying, that it was needful to circumcise them and to command them to keep the laws of Moses, right?
Now pay attention to this.
So the Pharisees, there's certain people in the Pharisees say, listen, to keep the commandments of the laws of Moses is a must, right?
And the apostles and elders came together to consider of this matter, right?
So this was a big deal, right?
Do we still get circumcised and all this stuff?
And we know by the grace that we're saved, absolutely, right?
And when there had been much disputed, So there's a big dispute going on at this point, right?
Peter rose up and said unto them, Men and brethren, you know how that good while ago God made a choice among us, right?
That the Gentiles by mouth should hear the word of the gospel and believe.
And God, which known in his heart, bear them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost even as he did unto us.
Very important, guys.
If you notice through the scriptures, too.
That's why we ask for the Holy Ghost to teach us and write the word upon our hearts, right?
That's because that's what they did.
I would never, on my own, okay?
I don't care if you're a Bible scholar either.
And I always have a problem with the academia world.
I really do.
And I'm not discouraging people for doing that, but you know what?
The academia world, yeah, they cannot teach you this.
The Holy Ghost is a must, okay, to learn and really know the Scriptures.
You need the Holy Ghost, not a piece of paper from the university, college.
I've got to emphasize this all the time, you know what I mean?
Look, they constantly, the apostles constantly called upon the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Ghost led them.
So again, it says, and God, knowing the hearts, bear them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost.
Remember Jesus said to comfort them?
When he left, there'll be another great comforter.
That's the Holy Ghost.
Giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us.
And put no difference between us and them.
Purifying the hearts by faith.
So this is, um...
What was this?
What was up here?
Yeah, so this is them saying...
Peter, I'm sorry, right?
I lost track who was talking there.
Peter was telling them that it put no difference between us and them, purifying the hearts by faith, right?
Our hearts are purified by faith.
Now, therefore, why tempt God to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we are able to bear?
Talking about, you know, the Jewish fathers and the ones of Moses and the apostles who are keeping the word of God, Jesus, right?
But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved even as they are.
And that's what it is.
Grace is what saves us, guys.
Not works, but however, guys, and don't let this mistake, because this is what the dispensationalist people do, right?
The teachings of John Nelson Dobby and Cyrus Schofield.
They'll say, oh, you can do anything you want.
Literally, you can do anything you want.
Grace is not a free pass to sin.
I don't know.
Anybody that tells you that is a liar.
If it's a free pass to sin, you tell them they're a liar to their face.
Why?
Because the Bible says so.
Because what is sin?
Sin, according to the scriptures, right?
Sin is transgression of the law.
Violating the law.
Even people say by grace, it says no whores and whoremongers, stuff like that, adulterers and all that are going to get into the kingdom of God.
Grace is not a free pass to do what you want.
And nowhere in the Bible does it say any such thing.
The law only applies to you if you break it, right?
So, if we're not breaking the law, it doesn't apply to us right there, right?
We don't have to worry about it.
But if we're breaking the law purposely, yeah, we all do, okay?
We sin and everything else, right?
But we pray and confess them at the end of the day, right?
But the people out there who willingly do it, and they get told then, I personally, okay, a witness to this, right?
I've been into these dispensationalist churches.
I literally, right, heard a pastor tell anybody, right now, if you accept Jesus Christ as you say right now, it doesn't matter if you go out and kill or rape somebody.
You're going to heaven.
You can go do anything you want.
No, that's not what the Bible says.
This is very important, guys, because most Christians today are led by this dispensational garbage that's going to land them in the pit of hell.
And that's exactly why he says only few are going to enter.
Now is the gate to destruction, right?
Now is the way to heaven.
Only few are going to enter.
That's among us Christians too, guys.
Not everybody who claims to be a Christian is going to heaven.
Jesus himself says that, right?
And that's the most fearful thing you can hear, right?
As you think you're a believer, right?
And all of a sudden you get the door slammed in your face.
I'd be gone.
I never knew you.
And that person's going to say, I cast the demons away for you, Lord, in your name.
I've witnessed the people in your name.
And Jesus says, hey, I never knew you.
What do you think he meant by that?
If you're going around claiming you're a Christian, right?
Yeah, you can do great things, right?
Help people, wouldn't bring them all that.
But if you're out there willingly, okay, breaking the law, thinking, oh yeah, I'm saved by grace, I can do whatever you want.
You think you're going to get into the kingdom of heaven?
You got another thing coming.
That's not what the Bible says.
And I'll challenge any dispensationalist on that.
Any one of them.
That is blasphemy, that is totally nonsense.
I used to defend that crap, and I can't believe I did because I had no basis to defend it.
Other than the religious dogma I was taught when I was younger.
This is very serious stuff here, guys.
I've done entire shows on this stuff.
On the Spiritual Warfare Friday shows.
And again, but we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we shall be saved even as day.
Amen to that.
And imagine that.
Almighty God just giving us grace.
Imagine that.
Just like, believe me.
Repent.
Okay, repent.
And that's what the churches leave out today, guys.
The big word called repent.
Repentance, right?
They don't have this in the churches no more.
Half the churches.
Oh, we say by grace you can go do what you want.
Repent means to turn away.
Why would Jesus say repent if you can do whatever you want?
Does that make any sense?
No, it doesn't.
So it's high time we all started listening to the Bible instead of these blokes behind the pulpit.
This is why it's very important to read the scriptures for yourself, guys.
And let the Holy Spirit teach you.
There is no greater teacher than the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit teaches me all the time.
I'm learning right now as I'm going along as well.
The Holy Spirit is a great teacher.
He's better than any professor, any priest, any religious leader, any teacher, all combined in the world, times a million.
This is something you cannot learn through academia or seminary school or anything like that.
When you got that, like right now I get that feeling in my gut that there's a spiritual fire going on.
That's the Holy Spirit speaking out against this garbage.
This is very destructive, guys.
People need to understand that.
That, you know, people believe you can do whatever you want because you're saved by grace, right?
And yes, we are saved by grace.
That's what the scripture says right there.
But it's not a free pass to do what you want.
You still got to repent.
In verse 12, Danai, all the multitude kept silence and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
Amen.
He said, all the things we did, we healed people, casted out demons from people, in the name of Jesus Christ.
All these wonderful things they've done.
And after that, they held their peace.
In other words, they, all right, I heard enough, thank you, and they kept silent after that, right?
So James answered, saying, men and brethren, harking on to me.
Simon has declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles to take them out of the people of his name.
I buffed that up, guys.
I'm sorry.
Let me read that one more time.
So Simon had declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles to take them out of them a people for his name.
And to this agree the words of the prophets as it is written.
Now, this is another thing I'm going to say.
And I'm going to sound redundant because if you've been watching these series, guys, you're going to be like, yeah, I don't know how many times Dan said this, but, you know, I have to say it again.
Alright?
As it is written.
Alright?
Again, back to the modern day churches, right?
What do you hear all the time?
Read Matthew through Revelation.
Repeat, repeat, right?
Could completely cancel out the Old Testament.
As it is written.
So...
How would you know what James is talking about?
As it is written.
To what?
There was no New Testament back then.
They talk about the Torah and the Old Testament, right?
So if you don't know it, okay, how do you go to verify what James is talking about?
How many times does Jesus say this?
As it is written.
If you don't know the Old Testament, don't even bother reading this.
Because they're going off the Old Testament, the Torah, and the Old Testament.
The Torah is the first five books of the Old Testament.
The books of Moses.
So this is important, why we need to read the entire Bible.
From Genesis to Revelation.
Because if you don't know the Old Testament, you're not going to know the New Testament.
I don't care how long you study it for, you are not going to know it the way you should.
And if you don't know the New Testament, you're definitely not going to know the Old.
Both of them go hand in hand.
And it's amazing how they correspond with each book, and it's so amazing.
As it is written, keep that in mind, right?
Referring back to the Old Scriptures.
And again, Simon had declared how God, at the first, did visit the Gentiles, right?
To take them out of them, a people for His name.
And to this agree the words of the prophets as it is written, verifying the words of the prophets.
And at this I will return, and I will build up again the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up.
So, how are you going to know what a tabernacle of David is?
Those are just strictly New Testament people.
Who is David?
What's the tabernacle of David?
You're not going to know any of that, okay, unless you know the Old Testament.
What is he building up again?
That's why you need to study.
We're going to get into the...
You know, when I started the series, I did start in Matthew, which I should have started in Genesis, but I am going to get to the Old Testament after this.
That was Paul planning on me.
You know, it's like, let me just...
Because I did the book of Jude for the fun of it, right?
It's a great book, right?
And I'm like, let me just try Matthew, right?
Went to Matthew, went to Mark, Luke, John...
Now we're to Acts.
So I'm going to complete the New Testament and I'm going to go to the Old.
To show you, then I'll verify these things.
It's amazing.
You can verify things in the New Testament and the Old Testament.
And you can verify things in the Old Testament and the New Testament.
Simply amazing.
It's one giant book.
It's the Word of God.
And none of it contradicts the other.
So again, this is James saying, After this I will return and I will build up the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, and I will build up again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up.
That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and the Gentiles upon whom my name is called, says the Lord, does all these things.
So he's to call upon everybody.
The Jews and the Gentiles.
All to come together under the name of Jesus Christ.
Known unto God are all His works from the beginning of the world.
Look.
Beginning of the world.
So if you didn't know the Old Testament, how do you know what the beginning of the world is?
Huh?
Yeah.
Right?
And wherefore my sentence is that we trouble not them, we don't give them trouble, right?
Which from among the Gentiles are turned to God.
So the Gentiles convert, right?
Here's the thing, right?
This is the contention.
Are you saved by circumcised?
Because the Jews say you have to be circumcised to be saved, right?
Because there was the laws of Moses, right?
And there's a contention now.
You've got the Jews and the Gentiles.
Gentiles are being saved by grace.
When they grew up, they didn't have to be circumcised and all that stuff, right?
But they're saved by grace because they just came to the Lord.
So this is what James and Barnabas and Paul are trying to tell these people.
Listen, some of us are the Jews custom, yeah, and some are not.
So you can't tell a Gentile because you're not circumcised, you're not saved.
That's not how it works.
I mean, they're saved by faith.
They don't have to go through all the rituals that we did Because they're not Jews, you know what I mean?
and they are new into the water.
But that we write unto them that they abstain from pollutions and vitals.
And from fornication, and from ding strangled, and from blood.
What's this mean?
This is very important.
This is some spiritual welfare going on here, right?
I'm going to explain this in a minute.
For Moses of the old time has in every city them not preaching, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day.
It's the Sabbath, right?
Now, let's go back.
Yeah, verse 20, right?
And again, this is...
James, okay?
James talked about this, right?
And he said that we write unto them that abstain from pollutions, right?
And are vitals.
From fornication and the things strangled and from blood, right?
So, you have people saying, well, all that stuff, all the Jewish stuff is abolished.
No.
It's not abolished.
Even to this day, you're not supposed to eat animals that have been strangled.
You're not supposed to drink blood.
And people are insane.
I have to say it.
They're completely insane in these churches today.
Oh, that's just for the Jews.
So you mean to tell me you can eat the same from pollutions?
That's what that is.
It's like from eating unclean animals that have been sacrificed to false gods.
Like pigs.
Pork, right?
Pollutions of idols and fornication.
That's like sexual sin.
Oh yeah, if you did all these things, yeah.
Right now, you come to the cross, right?
Believe in Jesus, that you're a brand new person.
You're born again, right?
So all these things are erased from you.
But it doesn't mean you can keep doing it.
This is some serious stuff here, guys.
Pollutions are vitals.
That's sacrifices offered up there to unclean animals.
And God's not going to make animals unclean just for Jews.
That's for everybody.
That's even before unclean animals were forbidden long before the Ten Commandments.
Long before a Jew walked the face of the earth, God talked about unclean animals.
Why would he classify clean and unclean Clean is so you can eat if you have to, right?
Unclean, you're not supposed to eat.
And it's not just a customary thing.
As many physical ramifications and spiritual ramifications involved have eaten unclean animals.
And in fact, in the Bible, it's not even considered food.
Now we learned in a couple chapters ago that, I think it was with Peter, that God did offer him a bunch of these animals and some were unclean, but God made those animals clean.
Those specific animals.
So he could eat.
But he never said all pigs from now on are clean.
Never said that.
And if I'm confusing anybody, please put it in the comment section and I'll get into better detail, get you the rest and all that stuff.
But yeah, so abstain from pollution of vitals, right?
And from fornication, sexual sin.
That's whores, whoremongers, homosexuals and all that stuff.
That's what it is.
And from ding strangle, right?
That's animals.
Like when you kill an animal, you chop the head off, whatever the case.
But you don't strangle him because it does something to the blood when you strangle somebody.
Right?
An animal.
And now check this out, right?
From blood.
We're not even supposed to touch blood.
And that's why the meat's supposed to be well cooked, not bloody.
There's spiritual ramifications for this, guys.
That's why people in the occult drink blood.
Yeah, granted they drink a lot of ammo blood today, but yeah, they drink child's blood too.
It's called adrenochrome.
Or any kind of sacrifice that's offered at the time.
It depends on the festival.
And if you want to see how sick...
Let me see here.
Let's see.
Let's see if I get this near...
Oh, where is it?
Oh...
I had it saved somewhere here.
Oops.
Hang on a second.
Let me back that up.
So, this is a...
Now, I've got to remind you, right?
Every form...
There's many levels of Satanism.
I'm not saying every Satanist does this stuff.
There's different levels.
Right?
But this is generically at the top, okay?
The list of satanic holidays.
Now I'm going to show you, right?
The type, this is the date, the celebration, the type of kind of ritual, right?
This one in particular, right?
This is Satan Windball Day, right?
It's a blood sacrifice, right?
Now the usage is an animal or in or a human sacrifice in dismemberment.
Male and female, right?
And it specifies the age and everything else.
And some ages go down to infants.
Any age here, this is very disgusting stuff, right?
Infant male, this is the blood sacrifice here at Christmas Eve, right?
Which has nothing to do with Jesus, we know that, right?
The blood sacrifice to receive body parts as Christmas gifts, infant males.
This is real stuff, guys.
So this is why blood, look, blood and sexuality, right?
All the rituals, right?
Blood, demoral here, which is very disgusting sexual acts, right?
Orgies, blood.
Orgies, blood.
Look at all that, right?
That's satanic rituals, right?
This is like high...
I'm not talking about people from the Church of Satan or anything don't do this stuff.
They go more science view of the satanic temple.
This is high level satanism, right?
And high level witchcraft does this stuff too.
Depends on the sect, whatever the case is.
But yeah, this is exactly why, right?
What does it say yet?
Fornication...
Abstain from fornication and strangle things from blood, right?
And as you can see, this is exactly what they do.
And a lot of times they either slice the neck of the victim or strangle it.
Because it's a direct and it's always to do with blood.
What they do is they have sexual encounters with the sacrificed person, right?
Or the kid.
And the kid or the person, like, so full of adrenaline, right?
That's when they kill the person after that, and they ingest the blood and some of the body parts.
This is real stuff, guys.
And people go, oh, this don't work no more.
Yeah, it does.
Very much so it does.
Nothing science fiction about this stuff, guys.
Why do you think the Bible talks about this?
And this is why we do these videos, guys.
There's so much content, okay?
This one verse, this one verse...
We're just pulling this right apart.
This is why God forbids this stuff, guys.
Abstain from pollution of idols, right?
These animals sacrifice unto idols and false gods.
Like battle worship and everything else is disgusting rituals they do.
Fornication, right?
They're committing fornication in these rituals, right?
Kids and all, right?
Even animals.
From strangled things and from blood.
The ingestion of blood could transform you guys.
And no, it's not just a vampire thing.
This is real stuff.
This is why God forbids you to consume blood of any time, right?
It doesn't matter, animal or whatever, you know, human.
Because it spiritually transforms you.
And you notice why, check that out, right?
The blood of Jesus Christ.
This is the opposite.
Everything they call is mirror image to what God does, right?
God, at the time, you know, before Jesus, there was blood sacrifices to be relieved of sin, right?
Now, it's the blood of Jesus Christ, right?
But in the satanic world, they still use the blood, but in a different way.
God says, don't do these sexually perverse acts.
They do the sexually perverse acts.
He says, don't address the blood of humans and animals.
They do that.
As a matter of fact, there's hundreds of verses in the Old Testament talking about this very thing.
About not ingesting blood at all.
This one verse here, you can sit here for a good 20 minutes explaining this stuff.
Right?
So this is what we're doing.
It's pulling the context out of what we're talking about here to show you this is why these things are forbidden.
So, again, go back to the modern day church and say, oh, no, no, Dan, Dan, Dan, calm down.
We're saved by grace.
It's okay.
If somebody's out there doing stuff, it's okay.
No, it's not.
Not at all.
You think God's going to allow you?
I don't care if you just got saved today, right?
If tomorrow if you go out and do this stuff, you think he's going to allow you in this kingdom?
Are you out of your mind?
Going out there eating food to offer up to false idols.
Committing sexual fornication on everybody inside, right?
Doing all these rituals and all that.
Yeah, you got another...
I'll shut up.
Because it just aggravates me that people just...
You know what I mean?
You need to read the Word of God.
The context is full of this stuff.
So moving on, verse 21. For Moses of all time has, in every city, them that preach him being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day, right?
That's every Saturday.
No, not Sunday.
That's a Catholic thing.
Saturday, right?
Then pleased it in the Sanchez for the Jews because the Sabbath day, if you go to Genesis, right?
Genesis chapter 2. It says, God sanctified the seventh day and made it holy.
Forever.
Forever.
They didn't change after Jesus.
This is Jesus well after, you know, he's gone now, right?
He ascends to heaven, and is here.
Do you see them anywhere saying, oh, Sunday?
No, they keep saying the Sabbath, and all through the New Testament.
They'll keep hearing Sabbath, Sabbath, Sabbath, referring to the Sabbath day.
The Sabbath was not abolished.
It's not just for the Jews.
It was established long before a Jew walked the face of the earth.
The Sabbath was established when Adam and Eve were on this planet.
So, I don't want to hear it's just for the Jews.
No, it's not.
It's for everybody.
It's God's day.
Okay?
It's not the Jews.
Okay?
It's God's day.
It was later reiterated as the fourth commandment with Moses.
But thousands of years before Moses, it was established by God himself.
So then pleased in the apostles and elders, when the whole church to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch, with Paul and Barnabas, namely Judas surnamed Barnabas, and Silas, the chief among the brethren.
So I want to apologize ahead of time, guys.
I'm probably going to botch up some of these names, especially the names of the cities.
I listened to this ahead of time.
That's why I try to get the names right.
So I apologize ahead of time.
So sending green in and like, hello, and all that, you know, just salutations, right?
For as much as we have heard that certain which, I'm sorry, certain which went out from us have troubled with your words, subverting your souls, saying, you must be circumcised and keep the law to whom you gave so much commandment, to whom we gave no such commandment.
So he said, we didn't give this commandment.
And mind you, there's a difference between the Gentiles and the Jews, right?
Because the Gentiles, that doesn't mean you don't disregard the law either.
That's not what it means.
That's where the confusion comes in.
See, the Gentiles didn't grow up with these laws.
They didn't have the laws of Moses.
Because they didn't know Moses.
Right?
So, you gotta separate the Jews from the Gentiles.
Right?
So now, if you're a Gentile, right, you come into, which means you're not Jewish, you believe in Jesus Christ, right?
Well, guess what?
It comes, everything that comes with it, right?
It doesn't mean, alright, now I'm a believer in all that stuff, right?
It doesn't mean, yeah, I'm going to disregard the laws.
From that day forward, you keep the laws, you know what I mean?
And you keep them to the best you can.
Don't eat garbage, you know, like the pigs and all that.
And the circumcised thing, I don't know if, I mean, if you're not circumcised, it's not going to get you in hell.
You know what I mean?
You get the faith of Jesus, you're a new person at this point.
But it doesn't mean you won't commit fornication and eat disgusting stuff either.
You know what I mean?
So it seemed good to us being assembled with one accord.
That's all together.
With one accord.
That means all of us together with one common goal here.
You know, if we're all together singing praises of God or praying with one accord.
That's what that means.
To send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul.
Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Which means men who put their lives on the line literally.
For the name of Jesus Christ.
And one day, which very soon, in some parts of the world, people are putting their lives on the line.
Being threatened and everything else, and beating everything else, just for preaching the Lord Jesus Christ.
And today, we suffer persecution already from doing that.
We get killed, all kinds of stuff, right?
When we have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.
So, whatever he told you, he's saying, right?
Judas and Silas are going to say the same thing.
For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things.
So, what is he saying?
He's not telling the Gentiles, now you're going to go out and get circumcised and all that stuff.
No.
Well, you're a new person now.
From this day before, yes.
Believe in the, you know, by faith and grace, right?
But don't sin...
You know what I mean?
Just don't sin.
Try to live the best you can.
Follow the commandments.
Now, because it goes on, right?
And again, for it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, there's always communications with the Holy Ghost.
You know what I mean?
That's why we all the time pray for the Holy Ghost to help us.
I love the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Ghost is my boy.
You know, my brother.
I love the Holy Ghost.
I'm always talking to him.
And it seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these things necessary.
So, like, if you're a Gentile, you just converted, don't worry about it.
Right now, don't worry about nothing.
You converted, that's it, okay?
Now from this day forward, right?
That you abstain from meat's offer titles, look, you abstain.
This is the proof right there, and this destroys the dispensationalist for you.
Right?
And they're saying, it seems good to the Holy Ghost and to us to lay no greater burden than these things necessary, right?
That you abstain from meats offered to idols.
That's pigs, guys.
This is a new believer now.
Don't eat pigs.
Don't eat unclean animals.
And from blood, don't drink blood.
And from things strangled, don't eat animals that you strangled or something.
And from fornication.
From which if you keep yourselves, you shall do well, fear you well.
Boom!
Right there.
Boom!
That's the mic drop.
The nuclear bomb that completely eradicates the dispensationalist doctrine.
Because they're going to tell you, oh yeah, you can do whatever you want.
Go eat.
Yeah, if you sin, if you continue doing sexual fornication, you're saved by grace, so it don't matter.
Yeah, you can eat pigs, and in fact, they have pig roasts at the churches.
That is abomination.
One church, they were having a pig roast.
I'm like, are you kidding me?
You're supposed to be the house of God, and you're having an animal offered up to idols and false gods?
This is right in the scriptures, guys.
The apostles are telling us, okay?
Yeah, alright.
Let me narrate this one more time, so you can understand this.
The Gentiles are coming to Christ, right?
Learning the Word of God, right?
The Jews, however, for all their lives have been following the laws of Moses, right?
So now, we've got this discrepancy going on.
And this is what the apostles are addressing.
From the Holy Spirit.
You've got this big discrepancy going on.
Now the Jews are saying, how could they be of God?
They didn't have been circumcised and they didn't do this and that, right?
No, because they're Gentiles, they didn't know those things.
But what they're saying here is, right, they just came to the Lord.
By grace they've been saved.
They are a new person now, right?
And they're saying right here, to lay upon no greater burden than upon these things, necessary things, right?
In other words, don't worry about it.
If you're not circumcised, you just come to the Lord, don't worry about it.
And if you ate all this stuff before and all that, don't worry about it, because you're a new person now, that ends today.
Right?
Don't put these burdens upon you that you didn't know enough about at the time, or you didn't follow, right?
You're a new person, now you come to the Lord, right?
Now, from this day forward, right?
That they abstain from meats or for titles.
So if you're a new believer, guys, and obviously 99% of us are Gentiles, you know, considered, you know, because we're not Jews, right?
Now, okay, now, you're not supposed to eat meats offered to guidance, right?
That's pig and all these unclean animals.
And also the Old Testament lists all the meats.
The animals and everything that are unclean.
Right?
Now we abstain from eating meats or fertilizers.
Right?
Now we keep from drinking blood.
Right?
And now we don't eat things that are strangled.
And now we stop committing fornication.
From which you keep yourselves, you shall do well, fear you well.
Boom!
Right there.
So when they were dismissed, they came to Anitope, and then when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle.
Which when they had read it, they rejoiced for the consolation.
You know what's funny?
I forgot what epistle is.
I apologize.
So...
Oh, the Epistle of Jude, that's what it is.
It's a synonym to a book of the New Testament as well as the Christian Bible.
Traditionally attributed to Jude, the brother of James.
Alright, so yeah, this is James talking, so he's reading his brother Jude's piscine.
So reference to the book of Jude, basically, right?
Yeah.
So, which they had read, rejoice for the consolation.
And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, extorted, not extorted, extorted the brethren with many words and confirmed them.
In other words, yeah, confirmed them.
And gave them many words to, yeah, confirm what they were saying, right?
And after they had tarried their space, They will let go in peace from the brethren and to the apostles.
So now it's standing to please Silas to abide there still.
And Paul also in Barnabas continued to antidote, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord with many others also.
So they just got done settling this big debate.
You know what I mean?
Because the Jews are like, how could these Gentiles be saved?
They're not circumcised and do this side of that, right?
They didn't follow the laws of Moses.
We just discussed this, right?
And the apostles, with the Holy Spirit, right?
Because it says, with the Holy Spirit, just settled this great debate.
And this is a very important chapter.
I think most churches actually study this chapter.
Instead of reading a couple of verses and going to another book.
That's what they typically do, right?
Now, read in context.
Because already we learn, okay, if we haven't learned already, that grace is not a free pass to keep sitting.
And here's another thing too.
If you go to the book of Deuteronomy, right?
Check this out, right?
The old Israel at the time, right?
When God ruled Israel, he told people of other countries, right?
You can come into the land of the Lord, right?
But what do you say?
You didn't have to be a Jew.
You could be anywhere, right?
If you want to come into my land, what are you going to do?
Leave out the abominations of which you came from.
Don't bring those practices into my land.
Like today, right?
If you want to put this in today's aspect, right?
Spiritual Israel.
Every one of us who believe in Jesus Christ are grafted into spiritual Israel, right?
We can't bring the abominations that we once did into that kingdom of God.
We can't bring fornication into there.
We can't worship false gods in there.
Anything we want like that.
We can't bring that stuff into God's land.
Just like in Deuteronomy, the one that talks about this, right?
He told everybody that came from anywhere, you're welcome to come into the land of God.
But leave the abominations of the nations out.
Divination, witchcraft, all that stuff.
Leave it out.
Leave it out sacrificing your children.
Passing them through the fire and all that.
Doesn't that say that?
This is why it's very important you don't know the Old Testament.
This is why these people do this, right guys?
They know strategically what they are doing.
They know most people don't know the Old Testament.
And they don't encourage you to know it.
This way they can interpret the scripture any which way they are.
If you didn't know the Old Testament, you would know anything we talked about today.
As it is written.
Very important.
That's why this is important, guys.
And I am blessed to do this.
I'm just so humbled at this.
Because I'm learning this stuff as I go along as well.
The Holy Spirit just talks to me and I just let it go.
Let it loose, I should say.
Not let it go.
Let the Holy Spirit loose and just work right through me.
Speak right through me.
I invite the Holy Spirit to keep just doing that.
Speak right through me in this.
Get this information out.
In verse 36, in some days after Paul sent him to Barnabas, let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached to the word.
Of the Lord and see how they do.
So they want to go back to these cities that they already preached.
They just want to go check on everybody.
How they're doing, right?
And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.
But Paul thought not good to take him with him.
Who departed from the Pamphia and went not with them to the work.
So the Holy Spirit is actually probably directing Paul who to take where and who goes where, right?
And the contention was so sharp between them That they departed asunder from one another, and so Barnabas took Mark and sailed to Cyprus.
So maybe there was a little dispute, I don't know, it says contention was shot between them, and they probably had some heat with each other.
Or two of the Holy Spirit could have been directing them, saying, no, I want you, because the thing is, the Holy Spirit sends certain people to certain places for a certain reason, right?
Reasons that we may never know, like how it works today, right?
God will say, Dan, I want you to go here and do this, right?
And you're like, what am I going there for?
You know what I mean?
But you don't know until you do it, right?
So whatever that means, so there's a purpose that Paul and Barnabas and whatever, John, they went to certain places for a certain reason, right?
And Paul chose Silas and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.
And he went to Syria and Sicilia and Confirming the churches.
Cilsia.
I'm sorry.
Not Cecilia.
Cilsia.
Cecilia is in Italy.
Confirming the churches.
Right?
And so going back to where they preached before just to check on everybody.
So continue on to chapter 16 at the next video.
I hope I made myself clear here.
But let's talk about earlier.
