And today we are on to chapter 7. So if you missed chapters 1 through 6, they're in our playlist on our YouTube channels and also available on TruthRadioShow.com, our website.
So before we get going, guys, we'd like to do a specific Bible study approach.
Number one is to pray for wisdom and understanding.
So you know the drill by now watching all the series here.
So let's do this.
So Jesus, thank you so much for everything.
And we come to you and ask you for forgiveness of our individual trespasses, sins, transgressions, and abominations that we may have committed.
And wipe us clean, Lord, with your precious blood.
And Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to ask you for your divine wisdom and understanding and ask you to give us the Holy Spirit, the great comforter, to write your word, which is the word, I'm sorry, the book of Acts chapter 7, write it upon our hearts today, Lord.
And Heavenly Father, we ask you to protect us all from the forces of evil, comfort those who need comfort in any way, and we ask you to be with us, Heavenly Father.
We love you so much, and we are ever grateful for everything you've done for us, for your creation, and for everything that you've created for us.
And most of all, we're grateful for the sacrifice you made, so we may not perish, but have everlasting life through your Son, the Son of Man, the Son of God, the Yeshua Messiah, Jesus Christ.
In your name, amen.
So that being said, guys, we read the scripture in context.
This is very important.
Number one is to pray for wisdom and understand.
That's the most important thing.
Number two is to read the scripture in context because context is key.
This way you cannot misinterpret it and let the scripture interpret itself and let the Holy Spirit work to you.
That's what we do all the time.
So, if you've got a Bible, guys, please open up to chapter 7. If not, it's up on the screen.
We do use the King James Version.
So, we recommend the King James or something older, like Geneva, whatever the case.
So, open the Bible up in Acts chapter 7. So, before we go on to chapter 7, guys, I want to point out where this is.
Okay?
If you missed chapter 6, please go watch it.
But I'm going to review it real quick here.
It was a very short chapter.
Only 15 verses.
So, verse 15 is about, I'm sorry, chapter 6 is about Stephen, the newest apostle.
He became the 12th apostle.
And so, this guy was full of faith and power.
He did great wonders and miracles among the people, right?
This is what the Bible says.
So, once again, when these Jewish leaders, priests and elders and all that, they see this happening, right?
They brought Stephen, they arrested him.
Because mind you, they just got done killing Jesus, right?
For all the stuff he's done.
And they're trying to suppress big time, suppress this movement going on.
So they brought Stephen before them in the council, right?
Right?
So now, Stephen's, like, being literally held on trial.
Now, mind you, these people want Stephen dead.
If you miss chapter 6, I'm sorry, 5 and 6, you'll understand what's going on here.
Please review them, if you haven't, then you'll understand what's going on here.
So, he spoke great wisdom, and they appointed the Holy Spirit, told the apostles to appoint him as the new apostle.
And mind you guys, there's, what, hundreds of disciples The disciples were the people doing the work of God under the leadership of the apostles.
Right?
So this movement has grown huge.
And at this time, again, chapter 5, we'll just show you how they literally witnessed everybody in the synagogues and the temples and everything.
And they were getting so many Jewish people to convert over.
Now, the elders are ticked off.
They're like, we just got done killing Jesus.
What in the heck is going on?
These people are at it again.
So they took Stephen into custody.
He's the new kid on the block, per se, right?
New kid on the block, doing his wonderful things for God, and they took him into custody.
And what they did was, this time, right?
They appointed false witnesses on Stephen.
They lied to say, before the council, that this guy spoke blasphemy words against the holy place and the law, and he's trying to change the words of Moses, the laws of Moses, and also destroy the temple.
It was all a lie.
And all that said in the council looked steadfast onto him.
They were staring at him because they saw his face and had been the face of an angel.
So Stephen's face lit up.
Literally lit up.
And everybody's just like at awe that this guy Stephen, he's staring at him and he's got a face of an angel.
Which is a radiant glow.
So the high priest, right, asked if these things are true.
You know, all the charges brought up against him and all the false witnesses, again, they're accusing him of trying to change the customs of Moses and saying he's going to destroy the temple.
Stephen never said any such things.
Nor did any such things.
It was a lie, all of it, right?
And changed the law and all that stuff, right?
So Stephen's face stood up like an angel, right?
Because the Holy Spirit was with him.
So the chief priest, the head priest, right?
The high priest...
They ask if these accusations are true.
So Stephen stands up in his defense, right?
Stephen, now this is going to be a little long, guys, because he's bringing up the days of Abraham and Isaac and Moses.
And it's amazing how the scripture is because you can literate, okay, in the scripture, right?
Cross-reference, book to book, chapter to chapter, Old Testament, New Testament, they go hand in hand.
You cannot have a Bible without one or the other.
You know, it has to be both, I'm sorry.
Old and New Testament.
You can't know the Old Testament unless you know the New.
You can't know the New unless you know the Old.
It's actually one Bible.
It's plain and simple.
And here's the thing, I say this all the time, right?
What I'm about to read here, right?
If you do not know the Old Testament, because unfortunately most churches today, they're like, oh, don't worry about the Old Testament.
You know, the dispensationalist churches and the prosperity churches.
Don't worry about the Old Testament.
Just read Matthew through Revelation.
No, you read Genesis through Revelation.
Because if you don't, you never got to know what Jesus talks about when he says, as it is written.
What is he referring to?
What's written?
He talks about the Torah.
In the Old Testament books.
So if you don't know those, you're not going to have a clue what Jesus is talking about, right?
So any pastor or church out there that tells you that the Old Testament is null and void or whatever the case, right?
You tell them they better go back to school or something.
Pray to God and get wisdom because they're liars.
I don't care how long they've been priests or pastors, they are liars.
If they tell you, anybody like that, that the Old Testament is not important.
Yes, it is.
Especially we're going to read here today because this is bringing up the Old Testament.
Yeah.
This is Peter.
I'm sorry.
This is Stephen on trial.
All the accusations against him, right?
Now, Stephen's face lit up.
He was full of the Holy Ghost, right?
The Holy Ghost is speaking through Stephen right here, right?
So he says, right?
He keeps saying Peter.
Stephen says, Men, brethren, and fathers, Harkin, the God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Sharon.
Now, bringing up the Old Testament, because this is what the Jews are supposed to go by, right?
So he's bringing up the laws and the old scriptures, right?
The Torah.
Right?
And trying to explain to them You'll see what I'm talking about.
He's trying to explain to him what happened to Moses and all that.
It's the same thing that's happened to Jesus and everything else.
Yeah, and about Stephen.
It's about to happen to him, right?
So he says, he said unto him, Get thee out of the country and from the kindred, and come out to the land which I showed thee.
Now again, this is Stephen speaking all scriptures to the high priest, right?
And it goes on for a little while.
And then he came out of the land of Chaldeans and dwelt in Sharon.
And from hence, when his father was dead, he removed him from into this land where you now dwell.
And he gave him none inheritance into it.
No, not so much as a set in the foot.
So he promised that he would give it to him for possession.
So, in other words, exchange either gold or silver or cattle, whatever the case is, for a possession that's like you would do exchanges, you know what I mean?
And to his seed after him.
And a seed is your child.
And the Bible, when it says seed like this, it's referring to your child, your offspring.
And yet he had no child.
As of yet, he had no child anyway.
And God spoke On this wise, and that his seed should sojourn in the strange land, that they should bring them into bondage.
Slavery, right?
And to treat them evil for 400 years.
And why did this happen?
And we're going to get to that.
So why were the Jews for 400 years in bondage?
And this is what Stephen's bringing up to the Jews right now, right?
The abominations that they did, they're doing it again, right?
So...
And in the nation, this is Stephen still talking, right?
Talk about Abraham and all that.
And the nation to whom they shall be bondage will I judge.
So, yeah, the nation which God's going to judge, right?
Said God, after they shall come forth and serve me in this place.
And they gave him the covenant of circumcision.
And so Abraham begot Isaac and circumcised him the eighth day, and Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot twelve patriarchs, right?
Which means begot is to, it's like a seed, having children.
And the patriarchs moved with envy, sold Joseph to Egypt, right?
This is bringing up all Old Testament stuff, it's awesome.
But God was with them.
So, and the other thing too here, I'm not trying to go off the subject here, but...
The other thing is like Joseph being sold into Egypt by his 12 brothers there.
It was part of God's plan.
God needed Joseph.
I know it sounded mean to some people.
They sold Joseph.
Remember Joseph with the coat of many colors?
The coat of many colors there?
And they were jealous of him because his father gave him the coat of many colors.
So they told his father that he was killed by a beast or something.
And they end up selling him as a slave into Egypt.
But God was with him, right?
And he delivered him out of all his afflictions and gave him favor and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and made him a governor over Egypt in all of his house, right?
So he made Joseph a very powerful man in Egypt.
It was for a reason.
Right?
And now there came a dearth over the land of Egypt and Shannon, a great affliction.
And fathers found no subsistence, right?
So basically it's like a plague, whatever the case is.
Not a plague, but a pestilence-like.
That killed off a lot of crops and all that stuff, right?
But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.
And don't worry guys, we're getting to the point where Stephen is coming with us, right?
Stephen's educating them on the old days.
And at the second time, Joseph was made known to his brotherhood.
And Joseph's kindred were made known to Pharaoh.
So, if you remember the story of Joseph, right?
They sold Joseph when he was young into slavery, into Egypt, right?
He became a governor now.
So now, this is funny, right?
His brothers came to Egypt for corn, right?
Joseph recognized his brothers, but his brothers didn't recognize him yet.
So later Joseph said, hey guys, remember that guy, your little brother that you sold to Egypt?
Yeah, that's me.
I'm a governor now.
So they're like, oh man, but the thing is Joseph, he showed mercy on them.
He could have had them arrested.
He could have had them slayed easily.
But he didn't do that.
He forgave them because he knew God had a purpose for him being there.
So Joseph's kindred, which is his brothers, was made known unto Pharaoh.
So Pharaoh realized all night, these guys are Joseph's brothers.
Then sent Joseph and called his father Jacob to him.
So his father Jacob and all his kindred, three score and fifteen souls.
That's a lot of people.
So Jacob went down into Egypt and died.
And he and our fathers were carried over into Shashem, And laid the septica that Abraham's bought for some of money of the sons of Amor, the father of sin.
So they laid the body in a septica that they bought.
But when the time of the promise drew 9, which was the exodus of Egypt, right?
Which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt.
They were getting huge.
The people of Egypt, sorry guys, tongue-tied today.
The people of Israel were growing.
And remember, they were captive in Egypt.
They were growing by multitudes.
400 years, that would grow a population big time, right?
Till another king arose, which Joseph, which wasn't Joseph, knew not Joseph.
The next king that rose didn't know Joseph.
So the same dealt subtly with our kindred and evil entreated our fathers.
So they cast out their young children to the end they may not live.
So if you remember the rule of Egypt, right?
Because Egypt, I'm sorry, the Jews were growing by leaps and bounds.
I mean, they were having children left and right, right?
The new king of Egypt, the pharaoh, right?
He got scared because his advisors told him, hey, these Jews are growing by leaps and bounds, okay?
They are multiplying.
They could overthrow us.
We've got to be careful, right?
So what did he do?
Have all the firstborns killed.
To quell down the Jewish population.
So in which times Moses was born, because remember what he called for all the deaths of the firstborn, right?
Except Moses, what did they do?
They put him in the basket.
His parents put him in the basket and floated him upriver, right?
And was exceedingly feared and nourished up in his father's house three months, right?
And when he was cast out, So this is Moses in the basket as a baby, right?
Because, again, they're killing all the firstborns.
I'm sorry, all the newborns of the Jews.
And the parents, Moses' parents there, they, out of fear, they put Moses in the basket because they're trying to hide him because they're going door to door killing babies.
That's what the Egyptians are doing.
So remember, when later on, okay, when people said, why would God kill the newborns of Pharaoh, right?
Right?
And during the plagues, during the Exodus, right?
Well, this is why.
It's retribution.
This is before that took place, right?
So, what happened was they put Moses in the basket, float him up the river to pray for him.
You know, it's like you put him in God's hands.
So, Moses floated up the river and Pharaoh's daughter took him up and nourished him as her own son.
So, she seen this baby in the basket in the water.
She took it.
She fell in love with the baby.
And she told everybody that was her own son.
It was a Hebrew, you know, a Jew, a Hebrew, right?
And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was mighty in the words and in the deeds, right?
So being the son of the princess, right?
Of course Moses is going to grow up and have great power in Egypt.
And when he was 40 years old, right, it came into his heart to visit his brethren, the children of Israel.
So Moses grew up in royalty, right?
And he just wanted to go, he realized he was a Hebrew.
So he wanted to go, you know, see his brethren.
Because he knew he wasn't Egyptian, he was Hebrew.
He was told he was a Hebrew eventually, you know.
So he wanted to go see his people.
So he was down in the, you know, to keep the slaves in the cities and all that.
So he saw one of them suffer wrong and defend him.
If you remember that account there, the Egyptian...
The soldier was beaten the heck out of this old slave at the point of death, right?
So Moses took up a rock and killed the Egyptian soldier and avenged him that was oppressed and smote the Egyptian and killed the Egyptian, right?
For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hands would deliver them, but they understood not.
So basically, he smothered them, and that's when Pharaoh found out that Moses killed one of his soldiers to defend an Egyptian.
He flipped out.
He totally turned against Moses.
Didn't even want to hear anything Moses had to say.
So we could go down to all these stories.
I mean, Joseph and Moses and all that.
Yeah, Ruby FR was doing that.
But this is just bringing up highlights.
Stephen bringing up highlights to the Jewish priests on his trail here.
And the next day he showed himself unto them as they strove and they would have sent him once again saying, Sirs, you are brethren.
Why do you wrong one another?
One to another.
And he that his neighbor, one thrust him away, saying, Who may thee a ruler and judge over us?
Wilt thou kill me and do this to the Egyptians yesterday?
Then fled Moses, saying, and was a stranger in the land and made it, where he begot two sons.
And 40 years were expired, and there appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai an angel of the Lord in the flame of the fire in the bush.
So again, once again, this is Stephen explaining all this to the Jewish council.
Stephen's on trial right now.
They want Stephen dead.
And they're making up false lies and accusations against Stephen.
This is Stephen defending himself.
This is coming from the Holy Spirit, though, that's working through Stephen.
So when Moses saw the burning bush here, he wandered at the sight, and he drew near to behold, and the voice of the Lord came unto him, saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
Then Moses trembled and dressed, not behold.
Just not behold, right?
And then said the Lord to him, Take off your shoes from your feet.
And place them where you stand as holy ground.
So the place you stand as holy ground, tell them to take off your shoes.
And I have seen and I have seen affliction of my people which is in Egypt.
And I have heard their groaning and come down to deliver them.
And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.
So this is the Lord telling Moses, I'm going to send you into Egypt.
I heard all the afflictions, I heard all the pain, and it's time to free my people.
And I'm going to send you, Moses, to Egypt.
This Moses whom they refused, saying, who made thee a ruler or a judge?
So again, at the time, the Jews themselves were like, oh, yeah, who made you a ruler or a judge?
They're not taking anything Moses has to say seriously.
And the Egyptians don't want nothing to do with Moses because they exiled him from outer Egypt, right?
But the same did God.
oops my bad the same did God sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush So Moses asked and God said, hey, they're not going to listen to me.
The Jews, they're not going to listen to me and certainly not the Egyptians.
And God said, yeah, don't worry about it because I'm going to make you a deliverer.
So he brought them out, and after he showed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, in the wilderness of 40 years, so all the stuff we all know happened, the split in the Red Sea, freeing them from Egypt, and all the things that they did for the Jews during a time in the desert, right?
A pillar of fire at night to keep them warm, a cloud over their head to keep them shielded from the sun, gave them food in the desert, water, and everything else, right?
And this is that Moses which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me.
You shall he, yeah.
Let's talk about Jesus.
And this he, I think he's talking about Jesus, because yeah, he talked about the prophet and the son of God, Jesus, you know, that comes eventually.
Because remember, Jesus appeared to Moses to give him prophecy.
Even though it was thousands of years before he was born, and I've got to say this again, Jesus always existed long before the creation of the earth.
He was just manifesting in the flesh.
That's all he was.
He didn't just magically become into existence when being pregnant.
I mean, being pregnant and married.
No.
When he was born from the womb, he came into the flesh in the world.
But he was always there long before the creation of the earth.
He talked to Moses and Elijah and all the prophets before him.
Anyway, this is he that was in the church in the wilderness and with the angel which spoke unto the Mount Sinai and with our fathers who received the lively oracles to give unto us.
And to whom our fathers would not obey but thrust him from them and then the hearts turned back again into Egypt.
So this is where Stephen's bringing this up.
Yeah, when Moses was leading our people out of the captivity of Egypt, right?
Yeah, they started moaning and complaining about everything, right?
And they were saying to Aaron, make us gods before us.
So while Moses was on the mountain, Mount Sinai, receiving the Ten Commandments, right?
He was up there for a while.
So the Jews became impatient, and they told Aaron, make us gods to go before us.
As for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we want not what has become of him.
So, in other words, we don't know what became of him, because Mary was up there for like 40 days.
So, a couple of weeks go by, and they're like, yeah, he's not coming back.
He didn't go there with no food or nothing.
He's not coming back.
He's dead up there.
So they give up faith, and that's Aaron, who was leading them at the time, when Moses was away.
Make us a God that we could see, that we could touch.
Because Moses, yeah, we don't know what became him.
So then they made a calf in those days, which is a moloch, right?
Baal.
Baal, moloch, it's a golden calf, right?
And orphans sacrificed unto the idol.
So they sacrificed unto this idol.
They rejoined in the works of their own hands.
So they made this big golden calf.
And did animal sacrifices on it, and all kinds of sexual disgust in this, so I'm going to leave it at that.
Yeah, on to this idol.
Then God turned and gave them up to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets.
O you, house of Israel, you have offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of 40 years in the wilderness?
But yet you took up the tabernacle of Moloch and a star of your god, Raphael.
This is right from the book of Amos, right here, chapter 5. Right there, it's referenced in Amos chapter 5. So those people out there that think that six-pointed star is the star of David, yeah, I wouldn't even be wearing that if I was a Jew.
I don't care if you're a Jew or a Christian.
You have no business wearing that disgusting star.
That is not a star of David.
David never had a star.
That's why the book of Amos 5 says the star of your God knows it's a low case G, your false God.
When you see a low case G, that means it's a false God.
God, our Heavenly Father, has a capital G. Anyway, he said, you took up the tabernacle of Malak, the star of your God, Raphael.
Figures which you made to be worshipped them, and I will certainly carry you away beyond Babylon.
God was ticked off.
That's why a big majority of the Hebrews were slain after when Moses came down from that mountain.
There was hell to pay.
They've seen a lot of these people dancing naked in front of this disgusting statue.
And I want to point out to you guys more on the star.
I did two shows, two entire spiritual warfare shows on the Star of Mark.
Me and John Pounders from Nice TV. Right?
Right?
In the occultic world, right, more powerful than the pentagram.
The eastern or western pentagram, more powerful than that.
In the occult, the six-pointed star, this star here, the six-pointed star, let me see, let me show you, give you a little illustration.
This is not the star of David, but yeah, David never had a star.
This star right here, guys, in the occultic world, this is the most evil talisman in all the occult.
They say the star of David.
No, David never had a star.
The book of Amos in Acts chapter 7 here makes that very clear.
That's the star of, they said, your God, your fake God right there, location, Raphael.
There's also a model too.
If you have one of these guys, you need to destroy it.
Don't give it away, don't sell it, destroy it.
I don't care if it's fairly ill.
You have no business, this is the most evil symbol in the order you call it.
This represents man over God.
Satan over God.
So anyway, sorry to go off the subject here.
This is what the Bible study is.
So this is Stephen Grillin, the chief priest about all this, right?
And he says, Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness as he appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.
Which our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers and unto the days of David, and who found favor before God and decided to be found a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
See the capital G? We just want to point that out there, guys.
Every time you see a capital G in the Bible, right?
But God, we talk about Heavenly Father, right?
Right there too?
But when you see a lower case G, that's a false God.
Just want to point that out.
So, but Solomon built him a house.
And how about the most high dwells not in the temples made with hands as said the prophet.
Heaven is my throne and earth is my footstool.
This is bringing up, this is amazing.
You know, just bringing up.
I love how the Bible just like...
You can cross run from this book to that book and Old to New Testament back and forth.
It's amazing.
No other book in the world could do that.
Or doctrine.
Heaven is my throne and earth is my footstool.
What house will ye build me?
Says the Lord.
Or what is the place of my rest?
So God's saying, I created everything.
All this is mine.
So what could you possibly build me?
Has my hands not made my hand in all these things?
God says, have I not created all these things?
You stiff-necked and uncircumcised heart and ears, you do always resist the Holy Ghost.
As your fathers did, so do you.
So now, this is Stephen telling...
This is Stephen telling the elders right now in this hearing, okay, there's a council here, right?
He's telling right now, you stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears.
You are.
He's telling the elders this, right?
The chief priests.
You do always resist.
You resist the Holy Ghost all the time.
As your fathers did, so do you.
Because mind you, remember, Stephen's face is glowing right now.
He's got the face of an angel.
The Holy Spirit right now is speaking through Stephen.
Speaking his case through the chief priests.
Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted?
Yeah, and it's true.
It is true.
He's asking the chief priests right now, which one of the prophets our people here, our fathers, didn't persecute?
They persecuted all of them.
Every one of them.
And they have slain them, which showed before the coming of the just one.
Talk about Jesus, right?
Of whom you have been not the betrayers and murderers.
Now they're betrayers and murderers.
So he's calling right out the chief priests.
You people, okay, you're betrayers and you're murderers.
Every prophet that came along, you persecuted them.
And you slain them.
And who I have received by the law of the dispensation of angels and have not kept it.
He's saying again, who have received the law by the dispensation of angels and have not kept it.
He's telling them, you guys got the law and you do not keep it.
You don't practice what you preach.
That's what he's saying.
And when they heard these things, they were cut to the heart.
And they gnashed on him with their teeth.
So they were kicked off.
Because Stephen just handed them their rare ends.
Told them exactly how it is.
And the chief priests were dumbfounded.
Mind you, these chief priests walked around all the time.
Nobody challenged them.
Walked around with their heads up, looking down at people.
Now Stephen just put them in their place.
His false accusers and everything, put them all in their place.
He brought up the law, the law that they're supposed to go by, but they don't.
And he just handed them to them, right?
So they were ticked off.
But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, right here, because it says Stephen, this is Stephen's home, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into the heaven, So now these people are ripped because they got their butt handed to them and put in their place.
So now Stephen, right?
He's full of the Holy Ghost and the Holy Ghost is with him, right?
Looked up steadfastly into heaven.
So he's staring up into heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing on the right hand of God.
And said, Behold, I see the heavens open and the Son of Man standing on the right hand of God.
Tell him the chief priestess.
Then they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears and ran upon him with one cordon.
So in other words, they all ran to get him.
Upon Stephen, because they were scared.
They were angry, yes, at Stephen, but they were very scared because they could clearly see the Holy Spirit with them.
They didn't want to take this lashing.
So they cast him out of the city.
Cast Stephen out of the city and stone him.
And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the young man's feet, whose name was Saul.
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
This is Stephen calling upon God.
And saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
In other words, take me.
As he's getting stoned.
I don't know if you guys have seen, I've never seen a stone, but I can imagine that it's not going to take one or two stones.
It's probably going to take multiple stones to kill somebody.
Even blows to the head.
So Stephen called upon Lord, because remember, he's looking up in heaven right now.
He's filled with the Holy Ghost and he said, take my spirit.
Like, take me, right?
And he kneeled down and cried out the loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.
And when he said this, he fell asleep.
He passed away.
He died.
Isn't it amazing?
When Jesus, right?
Jesus was being killed, right?
He has to follow.
Forgive them for they not know what they're doing, right?
Now this is Stephen being killed as we speak.
By this Jewish leaders, right?
And he asked them, he cried out to the Lord, saying, lay not this sin to the church.
In other words, forgive them for they don't know what they're doing.
Just like Jesus did.
As soon as he said this, he fell asleep.
He passed away.
He died.
So Stephen here, for the short time he was an apostle, he was a huge threat to these people because of the great and powerful works he was doing for God.
He was full of the Holy Spirit and they didn't like that.
Yeah, the Holy Spirit absolutely could have saved him.
Absolutely could have came down with a legion's angels and smited these people.
But again, remember, it's all God's plan.
So Stephen knew that, okay, and then when he became an apostle, he knew the chances of him being slain for Jesus and It was very great.
All apostles know that.
And if you remember a few chapters ago, yeah, remember when Peter and them were being persecuted?
They rejoiced in it.
They were excited, exceedingly in cheer of being persecuted and beaten up for Jesus.
Do you remember the Jewish people?
They told them in the beginning of this book here, They told the apostles, they had a good lawyer, the apostles, right?
And the lawyer got them off, but the Jewish leaders, right?
They told them, like, keep your mouth shut about Jesus, and if you do it again, it's going to be trouble.
And then before they let him go, they beat the snot out of him.
And the apostles were happy.
They were, yes!
You know what I mean?
Like, we were persecuted for Jesus.
That means we're doing our job.
So Stephen here, being stoned to death, You don't think he was full of joy?
Pain too, yeah, but don't you think he was full of joy?
Because he knew being persecuted for Jesus?
That means you're doing your job.
Because Jesus says, remember, they hated me first.
And they will hate you.
The world will hate you for my name.
So this goes on to all these fake churches out there in the world.
These fake Christian churches.
That's the majority of them.
The mainstream churches.
Why does the world love you?
Because you preach a new age garbage Jesus.
That we all serve the same God.
We're supposed to respect all faiths and work together.
No, you don't.
That's this whole ecumenical system going on right now with the Pope.
Led by the Pope.
All the world's religions are under it.
It's an antichrist church.
That's what it is.
A universal church.
We don't all serve the same God.
The God of Islam, the God of Buddhists and all that, is not the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob.
And we're supposed to serve the Jesus of the Bible, the biblical Jesus, not the world Jesus.
It's a big difference.
The world Jesus is a universal Jesus, and it's a New Age garbage Jesus.
It's a fake Jesus.
That's why all these big, major denominations out there, the big churches, the mainstream churches, are all glorified by the governments.
They give them free tax exemptions, free stuff and all that.
They glorify them.
Because they lead the world, the majority of the people, into a false one-world religion, an antiquary system, headed by the Catholic Church.
Because the scripture says, narrow is the gate, wide is the gate to heaven, right?
Wide is the gate to destruction.
And this universal, this big one world system they got going on right now.
To say we all serve the same God.
They blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
They blaspheme God.
Alright, this is what Steve went through.
Okay, this is what we are going to go through.
In the years and times, guys.
And again, what I say about dispensationalism, we are not, okay, dispensationalism is a satanic belief.
There's no pre-tribulation rapture.
We showed you that in Matthew chapter 24. We are going to be persecuted for Jesus Christ.
Most of us are going to be killed during this tribulation.
But Jesus says, don't be despair, but be of good share, because your redemption is night.
So just like all apostles end up being killed, it's like Stephen here is killed.
And they rejoiced in it because you're doing your job.
When you're persecuted, that means you're doing your job.
Don't be frowned upon.
At first, they shut down my main channel on YouTube and lost a lot of subscribers.
But I ended up finding out, learning afterwards, it's like, you know what?
It was a hard pill to swallow, but you know what?
If you've got the enemy attacking you like this, that means you're doing your job.
And very effectively.
So be like Stephen, yeah.
Be like Peter.
Be like Paul.
Be like Jesus.
Immolate Messiah, guys.
So, chapter 8, which we're going to get to at the next video, talks more about this.
This is the aftermath after Stephen passed away.
