Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com And welcome everybody to the Dan Padanay Show on TruthRadioShow.com So we're on our final chapter, chapter 24 of the book of Luke.
And I'm excited to get started with the book of John on our next video.
But yeah, the book of Luke, chapter 24.
This is going to be pretty exciting to finish this up here.
Uh, it's amazing.
Like you start off chapter one and next thing you're at the end of the book.
So, if you missed chapters 1 through 23, they're in the playlist here.
So, guys, like always, what we do is we do a specific Bible study approach.
And if you're new to the show, new to this channel, please like, share, and subscribe.
And also, I suggest to start off with chapter 1.
It's all in the playlist before you actually listen to this, so you understand what's going on in more depth.
So, we have a specific Bible study approach.
We pray for wisdom and understanding first before we do anything, so let's do that right now.
So Yeshua, Jesus, we come to you, our Lord and Savior, we love you with all our heart and all our soul.
And we ask you to forgive us of our sins, our individual sins and trespasses, to make us pure before the Father.
Father, we come to you once again asking for the influence of the divine Holy Spirit to come upon us, to teach us, and to help us disseminate and understand your word in its full context.
And to give us a spiritual application upon our hearts and upon our lives here with your word.
And today we ask you to help us with the book of Luke chapter 24 to bring out all the mysteries, all the knowledge that you have for us to lay out in this book of Luke chapter 24 today.
And thank you, Lord, for being with us through the entire book, the entire book of Matthew, the entire book of Mark, and now the entire book of Luke.
What a blessing.
And we're excited to get started with chapter, I'm sorry, the book of John.
And Heavenly Father, we ask you to pray for everybody here.
I'm sorry, we pray for everybody here to ask you to help them and comfort them if they're going through any kind of spiritual, physical, emotional, or any kind of ailments or sickness or loneliness, depressed, anything that's bothering them.
I ask you to comfort them, Lord, and we plead the blood of Yeshua Messiah upon them to bind them and protect them against any and all evil.
In your precious name we pray, amen.
So that being said, guys, we read the scripture in context because context is key.
A lot of people don't do that, but we don't just read through the chapter.
Yeah, we're going to read through it, but examine it.
Normally it takes a couple minutes for somebody to read through a chapter, but we don't do it that way.
We take our time, and we sit there and fully analyze every word for word.
And again, read description context, because context is key, and let description interpret scripture.
So let's begin.
If you've got a Bible, guys, please open it up.
And shakeawakeradio.com, thank you for carrying this on your network, which is an audio edition, so please open up your Bible so you can follow along.
And those watching on our channels here, the Bible's right up on the screen.
So we prefer the King James or something older.
We found a pound of newer Bibles, but whatever Bible we've got right now, just open it up.
And so Luke chapter 24.
So where we left off is chapter 23, is the actual crucifixion of Jesus.
Now in the chapter here we discussed too, The actual days, how long was Jesus in the tomb for?
How long was he dead for?
You know, all that stuff.
And the book of Matthew, like we said, gives details about his crucifixion.
He was crucified on a high Sabbath, which was a Wednesday, right?
And Jesus said, like, you know, Jonas and the whale, right?
He'll be dead in the grave for three days and three nights.
And we're seeing here that one of the thieves next to him asked him to remember him in his father's kingdom, on the cross there, and he said, from this day forward, you shall be with me in paradise.
We explained all that stuff, what that was, and everything else.
And if you missed this chapter, guys, please go back and watch it, because it's gonna pertain to this last chapter.
And so, we learned that, you know, basically what it's saying, that Jesus was on a cross after he passed away, and they had his body there for a couple days.
And it wasn't until Friday, That day, yeah, Wednesday, late Wednesday he passed, and into Thursday until Friday, so almost two days now that his body was on the cross.
And it was on the Friday, the preparation day, that Joseph got his body to put in the sepulchre, the tomb, and the tomb was open Sunday, early Sunday morning, he was going to get to it next, to indicate that Jesus, and the angel said that he was already gone, indicating that he left on the Sabbath, on a Saturday.
And they discovered the tomb open on the first day.
And the only reason why they didn't go to the tomb on Saturday and the Sabbath for, because it was a Sabbath.
That's why Mary Magdalene, as we're gonna see here, went to the tomb on Sunday morning.
Which it didn't matter, it doesn't matter what day they went to, he had already been gone.
So, anyway, now upon the first day of the week, which is Sunday, Every calendar world could recognize this.
The seventh day in our calendars, every calendar world, we call Saturday, Sabbath, Sab, and similar names, right?
And the first day of the week is what we call Sunday.
So, very early, I say, in the morning, I'm sorry, let me try to highlight this here.
So now, on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to a sceptical.
It was a sceptical of Jesus, right?
And bringing the spices which they had prepared and certain others with them.
So, yeah, so I guess they didn't get to know his body yet.
So, basically they were in a rush to get Jesus off the cross in chapter 23.
On that Friday, right?
They were rushing to get him off the cross to get him into the tomb.
And it says here that the woman were preparing the spices.
They prepared the spices, right, on the Sabbath in Reston.
So they didn't get to put the spices, the ointments on his body, right?
So, here we are on the first day of the week.
Now the women were bringing the spices to the tomb.
That they prepared Friday.
That Friday, right?
So they had rest on Saturday.
And that proves the point too, that that's why they didn't go to the tomb on Saturday, because it was a Sabbath.
So they went into Sunday to go to the tomb to put the spices and the ointments on Jesus that they prepared on the Sabbath, right?
Because they didn't get to it, they ran out of time.
So, anyway, and certain others were with them.
So, and they found a stone rolled away from the sceptical, and when they entered it, they didn't find the body of Jesus.
It was gone.
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed, where there about, you know, there about, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.
And as they were afraid, they bowed down to the faces of the earth and said to them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
So these angels we'll talk about.
They were in shining garments like it's a raiment of light.
And the woman were afraid, so they dropped down to worship.
You know, they bowed down to them, right?
So the angels told her, right?
The woman then.
He is not here, but is risen.
Remember how he spoke to you when he was in Galilee?
Yeah, in Galilee?
In other words, remember what he told you?
He's gonna rise.
But as you can see, early Sunday morning, right?
Because a lot of people get the misconception that he rose on a Sunday.
That's why we got Easter and all that.
No, Easter has nothing to do with Jesus.
It's not his resurrection.
He didn't resurrect on a Sunday.
Because the angel said he's not here.
And Matthew says he's already gone.
And the only reason why they waited to go to the tomb on Sunday, because Saturday was the Sabbath.
So at this point, it didn't matter if they went Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, it wouldn't have mattered.
He had already been gone on Saturday.
There's a lot of misconceptions about this and misunderstandings.
He hung on a cross for almost two days, whatever the case.
They put him in a septacle right before the Sabbath, which is sunset Friday night.
And it was there for a little, probably about 24 hours or so, and rose.
And so now they're open, you know, went to the tomb, and he was already gone.
The angel said this.
So many people used to question that.
So many people used to question that.
How could Jesus be crucified on Friday, right?
And rise early Sunday morning when it's not even 48 hours?
Do the math.
Because Jesus is specified three days and three nights.
That's 72 hours, like Jonas and Noel, right?
So, how's, you know, everybody agrees about 3 o'clock in the afternoon, that's when he passed, right?
So, how could 3 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, It's a Saturday, it's 24 hours, right?
It's Sunday morning, it's not even two full days.
How could this be?
Is there a contradiction or a mess-up?
No.
Because people simply got it misunderstood.
And Matthew said he was crucified on the High Sabbath of that day, of the year, which was a Wednesday.
The High Sabbath.
And he rose again three days and three nights on the Sabbath.
Thus fulfilling the prophecy.
So, again, it didn't matter if it was Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or whatever, they could open it a year later.
He was still there and had already been gone since that Saturday.
Fulfilling the prophecies.
So, the angel said, you know, told them, they'll remember how he spoke to you when he was in Galilee, and they'll remember the prophecies, they're saying.
And they said the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of the sinful men and be crucified and rise again on the third day.
And they remembered his words.
And they returned from the sepulchre and told all these things unto the eleven and to all the rest.
It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and other women that were there with them which told these things unto the apostles.
Now people justify, oh, the Lord's Day is Sunday because he rose on a Sunday and it was changed.
No!
That's dispensational garbage.
That's Catholic garbage.
That's no such thing.
The Sabbath never changed, nor was it abolished.
Jesus and the apostles and clerics kept the Sabbath and taught men to do so.
That's the fourth commandment.
They taught the ten commandments to people and they kept them themselves.
Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath.
He rose on the Sabbath.
They said, well, because they all met at the tomb.
First of all, they all didn't meet at the tomb.
It was just the woman that sat.
And second of all, it was at one time.
They didn't make this a Sunday ritual.
It didn't occur, like, from there on out.
And the Lord's Day, the only place that the Lord's Day is mentioned in Scripture, yeah, is the book of Revelation.
In chapter 1, when John was in the spirit on the Lord's day, which is the Sabbath, not Sunday.
So don't be confused or fooled by the churches.
These churches these days, guys, they don't know their tails from their butts.
Their tails from their toes, I should say.
So anyway, and their words seem to them as idle tales.
And they believed him not.
So basically they ran back to the apostles and said, the angel said he was gone.
He's already gone.
And so they're like, yeah, right.
Really?
They didn't believe it.
So then Peter arose and ran into the septica and stooped down and he beheld the linen cloth laid by themselves and departed wondering at sin and self as which was come to pass.
So after the women went to the tomb to get told he was already gone, right?
They didn't believe him, the women, when they went back to the apostles.
So Peter ran back there to the tomb to look for himself, and seeing it was empty and his robe was out.
And behold, two of them that went into the same day at the village called Amnus, which is from Jerusalem, about these three scoffed rogues.
And they talked together in all these things which had happened.
And it came to pass that while they communed together in reason, Jesus himself drew near and went with them.
So this is Jesus now in the Spirit.
He's no longer in the flesh.
The flesh is gone.
Now he's in the spirit.
But the eyes that were holding that were should not know him.
In other words, they didn't recognize Jesus.
So he said to them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another as ye walk in our sight?
So he goes, it's me!
Because they couldn't recognize him.
And one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answered, said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things at which to come to pass in these days?
So they think he's a stranger, right?
And Jesus said unto them, What things?
And they said unto him, concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet, mighty in deed, and word before God unto all people.
And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
You know, telling the whole story of what they did and, you know, not knowing this is Jesus they're talking to, right?
And they said, but we trusted that it had been in which he would have redeemed Israel.
And besides all this, today is the third day since these things were done.
And ye, a certain woman also in the company made us astonished, which were early in the septica.
So they went to the morgue in the morning.
Like, yeah, the woman went to the morgue in the morning.
And also it says here that this is the third day that these things were done.
Because on Friday they put him in the tomb, right?
And Saturday and Sunday is when they discovered the tomb empty.
So he was in the tomb since Friday, right before sunset.
And when they found not his body, they came saying they had also seen a vision of angels, which had that he was still alive.
So they basically, the angels told him to say, yeah.
When he went to the tomb, they didn't see his body.
The angels said he's gone, but he's alive.
And a certain of them, which were with us, went to the sceptical and found that even also, so the woman had said, But him, they saw not.
So, another one ran to the tomb too, because these people had to see it for their own eyes.
No way!
No way!
Even though Jesus told them, I'm going to rise.
They told them all, but they didn't believe it.
Even when the woman came back to say he's gone, the angel said he's gone, he's risen.
And they, you know, each one of them kept going back, you know, running back to see for themselves.
Now, this is Jesus marrying her, they're not recognizing him, because they think he's one of the two strangers there, right?
So, "...and then he said unto them, O fools, it's slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken.
What, not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?" Speaking out to the apostles, right?
"...and at the beginning, that Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the Scripture that things concern themselves." So he's laying down a prophecy and everything else, and like, yeah.
And they drew nigh into the village, whether they went and wherever they went, and he made as if they had gone further.
But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us, for it is toward evening, you know, the nighttime's coming, and the day is far apart.
And he went into the tarry with them.
So they still don't recognize it's Jesus, right?
And it came to pass as he sat and meet with them, right?
And took bread and blessed it and break it to give to them.
And the eyes were open and they knew him.
And he vanished out of the sight.
So, it was up to this point that they had no clue they were talking to Jesus.
They thought of some stranger in the land, like I said, right?
So he took bread and blessed it and broke it apart and gave it to them.
And then the eyes were open, like, this is him!
That Jesus vanished out of the sight.
And they said to one another, Did not our heart burn within this, while he talked with us by this way, and while he opened to us the Scriptures?
Then he rose up in the same hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found eleven gathered together, that's the apostles, right?
And them that were with them, saying, The Lord is risen indeed, he has appeared to Simon, that's Peter, right?
As we've just seen.
So it's funny, it took all that for them to realize that that was Jesus.
They were talking to him the whole time.
And they told what the things were done in the way and how it was known of them, of breaking bread.
So the way Jesus did it was distinctive, right?
So when he, this stranger, did it, they thought, right?
They recognized, what?
This is Jesus.
He's resurrected.
So, and as they spoke, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and said unto them, Peace be unto you.
But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
Yeah, because they seen him.
And even though Jesus told them, this is what's going to happen, right?
And the prophets, he's going to resurrect.
And Jesus said, I'll be back in three days.
And they still didn't believe it, and they were still terrified, right?
But Jesus said unto them, right?
Why are you troubled?
And why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself.
So showing his hands and feet with the, you know, the holes in them from being nailed on the cross.
Handle me and see, for the spirit has not flesh and bones as he has, we have, right?
So he's the spirit now.
And he's showing his hands and feet.
He's examining.
This is me.
And when he had spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet.
And while they breathed not for joy and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
And they gave him a piece of broiled fish and of a honeycomb.
And he took it and he did eat before them.
And he said to them, these are the words which I spoke unto you while I was with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and in the prophets and in the Psalms concerning me.
So he goes, you're looking at the fulfillment right here.
Then opening their understanding that they might understand the scriptures.
And Jesus said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it is behold Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead on the third day.
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in the name of the old nations, beginning in Jerusalem.
So you're saying that all this has to be preached among all nations, beginning in Jerusalem, right?
And And in Matthew 24, and also Luke chapter 21, it's talking about the end times, that the gospel would be preached in the end days, it would be preached to all corners of the earth.
And now we can say in the 1900s, well 2000s, I'm sorry, yeah.
Shows you where I am, huh?
In the 2000s, yeah, 2022.
23, I'm sorry.
Oh man, I'm betting a thousand today with the dates, yeah.
So yeah, 2023, yeah.
We can honestly say the Scripture has been preached throughout the world.
You couldn't say that in the 1st century, you couldn't say that in the 10th century.
We can say it now.
It's been written in so many different languages and it's been preached throughout the world.
Anyway, and ye are the witnesses of these things.
So it's written about me to suffer and I'm going to die and rise again, right?
Which he just did.
In that repentance and remissions of sins should be preached in the name of all nations that begin in Jerusalem.
Key word, repentance.
That's what a lot of churches leave out today.
They teach acceptance instead of repentance.
In other words, it doesn't matter what you do.
Come on in.
Come on in.
And they don't teach repentance.
Nothing wrong with acceptance.
The thing is, you can't be accepted until you repent.
They can't live a godless lifestyle without repentance and expect Him to forgive you.
I'm sorry, expect Him to accept you.
You have to come to repentance, then He will forgive you.
Then you're accepted.
So that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations beginning in Jerusalem.
Again, repentance and remission.
He's not going around saying, oh, acceptance, like today's woke mafia style, modern day garbage.
That, oh, Jesus gets us.
You know, that new movement going around, right?
He gets us.
Now, how about, the question should be is, do you get him?
So they're kind of saying, oh, it's okay.
You can do what you want.
That's dispensationalism, right?
No, that's not true.
You have to repent of your sins to be saved and have faith.
So he says, you are witnesses of all these things.
And behold, I send the promise of my father upon you, but tarry ye into the city of Julsum until be endued with the power from above.
From high, right?
So, carry on into the city Jerusalem, and be endured with the power from above.
And he led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them.
And it came to pass while he blessed them, he was parted from them and carried up into heaven.
And there's more detail about this in Matthew.
See, the book of Luke gives like bullet points of the incidences there, and some details in some cases, but yeah.
So he led them as far as Bethany, then he departed from them, ascending into heaven.
And they worshipped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
And they were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God.
Amen.
So this resurrection spotted people just to go pray and praise God even more in the temples.
But a lot of inspiration on people and everything else.
And again, it's so funny how the apostles, after all the stuff they've been throwing, you can see this is a common theme throughout the Bible.
The Jews did this with Moses.
After all the miracles they've seen, the Red Sea splitting up and everything else, and the pillar of fire to warm them at night, the cloud above them to keep them cool in the day, or the food they gave them and everything, and you'd think they would be believed, you know, especially with the Red Sea.
When they crushed them.
And they crushed all the enemies after that.
You'd think they would have believed.
Nope.
They kept building calves and everything else.
Gold calves like Baal.
When at the time Moses was not there.
That, you know, losing their faith real quick.
You know, and the apostles, there we are.
The apostles seeing Jesus do all these things first hand.
And yet, they were having a hard time believing.
It's unreal.
Even though Jesus said, I'm going to be back, and they said, whoa, whoa, whoa.
I don't believe the tomb's empty, and they went to go see it for themselves.
So they worshiped and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and they were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God.
Amen.
That's awesome.
So this was an exciting chapter, it really was.
So yeah, we conclude this series here.
It's been an amazing series.
And again, if you missed the first 23 chapters, they're in the playlist.
So I can't wait to start on the book of John.
And we're going to have the links for that up on the website.
So we tell people to trust the plan, the only plan.
That's the Bible.
And the whole thing too, guys, in summary of this chapter here.
It's a record that Jesus did rise from the dead.
He did what he said he was going to do.
Three nights and three days later, rose from the dead as a remission for our sins.
And to get that remission, you've got to repent.
So this is an exciting chapter.
Thank you guys for joining us here.
So, I encourage everybody, please, like, read it for yourselves.
Don't take my word, anybody else's word for it.
Read it for yourselves, please.
And let me know in the comment section not the live chat, but the comment section if you got any questions comments or concerns put it in the The comment section.
