Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com Shalom and welcome to the Dan Bedani Show Right here at TruthRadioShow.com So we are in a comprehensive in-depth study of the book of Luke chapter 16.
If you missed chapters 15 through 16, I'm sorry, 1 through 15, they're in the playlists here.
So like always, guys, before we start our biblical study here, we like to do a specific Bible study approach and we pray for wisdom and understanding.
So let's do that right now.
So Yeshua Messiah, Jesus, we come to you and we ask you to forgive us of all of our individual sins and trespasses.
And we ask you to make us pure before the Father.
And Father, we come to your throne and ask you to help us understand your word in the book of Luke chapter 16 today and give us the divine Holy Spirit to help us understand your word and have Holy Spirit write the word upon our hearts so that we completely understand your gospel.
We ask you to heal anybody, comfort people who are sick, despair, lonely, depressed, and just spiritually hurt.
We ask you to comfort them, Lord, and encourage them, and give them wisdom and understanding.
Give us wisdom and understanding as well.
So we ask you in your mighty name, Amen.
So that being said, guys, what we do too is we read the Scripture in context.
And if you're new to this here, we don't just read through the Bible.
We read the Scripture, yes, but we read it in context because context is key.
We sit there and examine this.
So it's not going to be a quick two-minute thing, guys.
We're going to go through the Bible and try to break down every verse, every word, and completely understand what the Scripture has to offer us.
And let the Scripture interpret the Scripture.
Lean not on your own understanding.
So let's begin here.
So chapter 16, and this is a continuation from 15.
So in 15 we learn that Jesus, given many parables, just, you know, just lighten up the Pharisees, lighten up the people, like, who try to accuse him.
You know, the publicans, you know, I'm sorry, but they try to accuse Jesus for wrongdoing, for eating Republicans and sinners.
And it was the Pharisees, the scribes, of course, you know what I mean?
And now Jesus just lit them up, you know what I mean?
And saying that these people need help, you know?
They need salvation, just about, you know?
Because the sinners, they need guidance, they need salvation, they need repentance.
So it's no use sitting... In other words, he was saying, it's no use sitting in the church or the synagogue all day when there's people out there lost that need Jesus.
So, we go on to chapter 16 here.
So he's continuing here, and he also said unto his disciples, Jesus said to the disciples, There was a certain rich man which had a steward, and the same was accused unto him that he was wasting his goods.
So, and he called him, and he said unto him, How is it that I hear of this?
Of thee, give an account of thy stewardship, for thou mayest be no longer steward.
And the steward said with himself, what shall I do?
For my lord takes away my stewardship.
I cannot dig to beg.
I am ashamed.
So we're going to come here.
That's, you know, parable.
She's talking about a steward who is stripped of his stewardship from the boss or the owner, whatever the case, right?
And he says, I am resolved what to do.
That when I put out the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
So he called every one of the Lord's debtors unto him and said unto the first, how much do I pay unto the Lord?
Owe the Lord, I'm sorry.
So it was a stewardship that was stripped of stewardship from the Lord of the landlord, whatever the case, that would own a bunch of property, whatever the case.
And these are debtors that owed the Lord money.
So he said, a hundred measures of oil And he said unto him, take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
So, the person that owed a hundred, he told him, you know, how about we do this, you owe fifty instead.
Cut it in half.
Then he said unto another, how much do I owe you?
And he said, a hundred measures of wheat.
And he said unto him, take thy bill, and write four score.
4 score would be 400.
You know, 4 times 4 score is 4 times 100.
And the Lord commended the unjust steward because he had done wisely for the children of the world are the generation wiser than the children of light.
So the Lord actually commended this unjust steward because actually the steward actually done good now.
Because he has done wisely.
For the children of this world are a generation wiser, are they wiser than the generation of light?
The children are, I'm sorry.
And I say unto you, make to yourselves friends of the mammon of the unrighteous, that when ye fail, they may receive unto you everlasting habitations.
He that is faithful in his least is faithful and is also in much.
And he that is unjust is least and unjust, also and much.
So make yourselves friends with the mammon of the unrighteousness. - Yes.
That's what the Lord's telling them to do, right?
And he said that he that is faithful in that which is least is faithful and also much.
So just a little bit of faith is, yeah, there's more faith compared to normal people, right?
And he that is unjust is in the least as unjust as so much.
So somebody that's a little bit faithful is gonna be ten times faithful, you know, more than the average person, and more than the person that's unjust.
And the person that's unjust, it's unjust.
So having faith is having faith, and being unjust is completely unjust.
You know what I mean?
If this makes any sense to you guys.
So, in, you know, long story short, what this is saying here... So this guy, the stewardship, tried to resolve the matter here, because he was deemed unjust, right?
By the Lord.
So he went out and did these, uh, wise things to win the Lord's, um...
Favor back, right?
So this will be to us, you know what I mean?
So, basically we fall away from the faith, right?
We fall, you know, a lot of us do.
We all do, you know, one time or another.
We fall away, you know, let sin overcome us, whatever the case, but we get back on track, you know?
We repent our sins and start doing, you know, reading the Word of God, start doing good things and everything else to get back on track.
And the Lord's gonna bless us, you know, because it's a straight and narrow walk.
We all know that.
And he that is faithful, again, in which is least is faithful also much.
And he that is unjust in the least is unjust also much.
So, if you're faithful, you gotta, which is least, right?
If you're least faithful, you gotta be faithful, like I said earlier, right?
And the person's unjust, you're unjust.
So either you're faithful, you're unjust.
Plain and simple.
And if there you have been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust in the true of your riches?
So if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust in the true of your riches, right?
And the true riches, you know, we saw up our riches in heaven, right?
And if you have not been faithful in another man's, who shall you that which you own?
So if you've not been faithful with that which is another man's, who shall you that own which is your own?
So, yeah.
That no servant can serve two masters.
So basically you can't serve God and Mammon at the same time.
That's what they're saying there.
Jesus is saying there in the parable.
So if you're faithful to Mammon, right?
Are you going to commit to your trust in true riches?
So you'll be faithful to God or mammon?
Which one is it?
that you can't do both.
And if you are, yeah, if you make yourselves friends of mammon, of unrighteousness, that you fail.
When you fail, they receive into you everlasting habitations.
So, I, usually I take my time to read through all these things here, but I went through all this here because I proved a point here that you can't serve God and mammon at the same time.
And if I confused anybody at all at this point right now, um, just let me know in the comment section.
Not the live chat, but the comment section.
And if you got any questions about that, um, I hope I didn't like butcher these things here.
If you got any questions about that, uh, let me know and I'll do my best to help you understand this.
But basically long story short, you have a servant, a steward.
Who displeases the Lord, and he was going to take his stewardship away, then he actually redeemed himself.
But it goes on to talk about people who start serving mammon over God, the Lord.
And no servant can serve two masters.
Now then, this might not make sense to somebody right now.
And that's what we talk about all the time.
Let description interpret description.
So we're going to get into that.
And it says, No man, no servant, I'm sorry, can serve two masters.
For either he will hate one and love the other.
Or else he will hold to one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and man.
Like we just said.
So it's basically talking about a person who's trying to serve two people at the same time.
You can't do that.
You can't make two people happy because you've got to tick one off and you've got to please the other, vice versa.
So, and the Pharisees also, who are covetous, heard all these things and they derided.
Bye.
Thank you.
So of course the Pharisees are standing around listening, you know, that's what they always did.
Stood around listening to everything the word Jesus said, right?
To try to convict him.
To try to get him to say something blasphemous, or to learn him to say something blasphemous, right?
So they have a reason to convict him.
So, and Jesus said unto them, Ye are which justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts.
For that which is highly esteemed among men is an abomination of the sight of God.
So yeah, he's saying to you Pharisees, yeah, you walk around, yeah.
You look all mighty and everything else, and holy and all that stuff, right?
But God knows your heart, he can see inside of you, and you, you know, which appear to man as holy, right?
But you appear to God as an abomination.
Tell him the Pharisees that.
You walk around in the prior chapters, they talked about the Pharisees, they sit in higher seats, get the best dinners and everything else because they appear to be righteous and holy men.
But to God, they're an abomination.
And then he says, the law and the prophets were until John.
Since the time of the kingdom God has preached and every man presents into it.
Presents into it, I'm sorry.
And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass than one tittle or jot for the Lord to fail.
So this goes on to where there's people who take the Ten Commandments or abolish.
You know, I got to laugh at that because it's not funny because they mislead a lot of people.
But I have to laugh at that because because the Old Testament and the New Testament both confirm the Ten Commandments.
Jesus didn't abolish them.
He didn't Change them or anything of the sort.
And he says right out, the law and the prophets were until John, right?
That the law and the prophets were preached with John and Malachi.
And since that time, the kingdom of God is preached.
And every man presses into it.
And it is easy for heaven and earth to pass away than one tittle of the law to fail.
And Matthew says one jot or tittle to...
Not one jot or tittle shall be changed from the law.
That's what he said.
Then he goes on and this is adultery, right?
The Seventh Commandment.
Whoever puts away his wife and marries another commits adultery.
So you can't just put away your wife because you want her or Or, you know, oh I'm sick of her.
Or she's not pleasurable in bed no more.
I'm just being real, you know what I mean?
That's because this is what the world does today.
And the shame on the courts for allowing this to happen.
Oh here you go, here's a divorce.
Give me 200 bucks and we'll give you a divorce and all that, right?
Because you want to marry somebody else because she's more beautiful now.
Because, I mean, your wife's age or whatever the case.
Whatever the excuse is, right?
But whoever puts it away for his wife, that's to divorce her, right?
And marries another woman, commits adultery.
And whoever marries her, that woman that's been put away, from her husband, commits adultery.
So, as we learn in Matthew and Mark, right, what Jesus talks about, he just gives the details, right, in those books there, about you could put your wife away, it's permittable to put your wife away if she committed adultery on you.
If she cheated on you, you could put her away and you're cleared to marry another person.
She can't.
She could only reconcile with you.
If you decide later, you know, I forgive her and you want to remarry her again, you could do that.
But in Matthew it explains that, yeah.
If you divorce your wife, it has to be because of adultery.
Because the hardness of your heart is that, you know, Jesus allowed this to happen.
Like, you gotta write her a certificate of divorce if she committed adultery and you're free to marry another person.
Or if the spouse dies, you're free from that bond.
But you can't just put a wife away just because you seconded her or whatever the case, right?
Same thing with men, you know, you can't divorce your husband Because you want to find another man.
Doesn't work like that.
You know what I mean?
If they commit adultery, then yes.
You get a certificate of divorce and you're free from that bond.
But Jesus is just laying out the bullet point there.
So again, whoever puts his wife away, except for the cause of adultery, which Matthew explains this, I'm not adding to this, guys, because we're not supposed to add or take away to the Bible, but it's explained in detail in Matthew.
Whoever puts his wife away, except for the cause of adultery, you can't marry another person.
And a woman that is divorced from, let's say your wife commits adultery, right?
You divorce her, she cannot marry another person.
Because her and that guy will be committing adultery.
That's the way it goes.
And there was a certain, now a different subject here, there was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fudged sumptuously every day.
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which laid out his gate full of sauce.
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table, moreover the dogs came and licked his sauce.
And it came to pass, and the beggar... So basically, this is explained a couple of times in the New Testament too.
So you got this old man, this is like, he'd be considered today homeless or something, right?
He lays at the gates of the rich man.
Asking and begging every time he sees a... The rich man, right?
He asks him, could you give me just the crumbs that fall from your table?
I'm hungry, I need help.
He's got sores and everything else all over him.
And the rich man, like, just doesn't want to go near him.
And he even mocks him.
He goes, to say I wouldn't even give you the crumbs that fall from my table for the dogs.
That you want, you know?
So, uh... Basically, he sees this guy laying dead in the street, basically.
Doesn't want to help him.
He's hungry, thirsty.
Walks by him and doesn't even want to go near him.
He's like, no, you're not getting nothing.
Right?
So, and it came to pass... This goes deep.
This is a very important parable here.
And it came to pass that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom.
So what is Abraham's prison?
It's what's called paradise.
It's shul.
It's the grave.
Now obviously when you die, your body goes into the grave.
You know, physical, right?
Or burned, whatever, ashes.
Still goes back to the earth, right?
Your soul goes into the grave.
Which is in the earth.
And I know a lot of people ain't gonna understand this because they don't understand biblical cosmology and how things work.
They, you know, because it's so hard for them to believe.
They think in the earth is just like magma and everything else.
And, you know, I don't want to get down that road, you know what I mean, get to the flat earth stuff and everything else.
So, um, I don't want to deride off the subject here, but hell in paradise is literally in the earth, in the grave.
That's why Jesus says when he, you know, when we learn later in this book too, he'll be in the grave for three days and three nights.
It's not him just sleeping in the grave.
Because a lot of people believe you just sleep until you are resurrected.
And, you know, the dead, wicked, or righteous sleep until resurrection and judgment.
No, that's not the case.
Yeah, your body's dead.
Yeah, your physical body, but you yourself are going into the grave.
Not just laying there sleeping.
We're gonna get into this.
Check this out, right?
So it came to pass that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom.
Now the rich man also died and was buried, right?
So you got the beggar and the rich man, right?
Both dead now.
Lazarus and the rich man.
So, in the end, in hell, he lifted up his eyes and began being in torment.
He's seen Abraham far off from Lazarus in his bosom.
So today a bosom would be Yer-er-er, whatever it's not.
No, it's nothing like that.
So basically, what's going on here?
The beggar died, right?
And angels carried him to where?
To Abraham's bosom, which is paradise.
And not too soon after, the rich man died.
And he woke up in hell.
So, he wakes up in hell, right?
And he sees far off, which was across the pit.
The bottomless pit.
And this is gonna explain this, right?
He sees Lazarus.
I mean, yeah, Lazarus.
You know, the guy who used to beg at his door all the time?
So anyway, he cried and said, Father Abraham, because he's seeing Lazarus standing next to Abraham, right?
He yells across the void, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus that he may dip his finger, the tip of his finger, in water and cool my tongue for I am in torment in this flame.
So, people say, well, this is just a parable, it really doesn't mean nothing.
Yes, it means a lot.
All means a great deal.
Because if you're righteous, you literally go to paradise.
Because remember, and here's the thing too, remember when the thief on the cross next to Jesus?
When he told the other thief, hey, this guy, we deserve to be here because we're criminals and murderers.
He doesn't deserve, he didn't do nothing.
And he looked at Jesus and said, you're right there probably hours before his death.
They're already crucified up on the cross and everything, ready to die.
And he looked at Jesus and said, Jesus, please remember me when you enter your father's kingdom.
What did Jesus tell him?
Word verbatim.
From this day forward you shall be with me where?
In paradise.
Now I'm gonna go on before I explain some more of this, alright?
So you got the rich man in torment.
His tongue is like fire and everything else.
He's asking if just one little drop of water.
If Lazarus could come over and just you know tip his fingers in water.
Come over and just touch his tongue with you know a couple drops of water.
That's how much torment this guy is in.
In the flame.
But Abraham said, son, remember though in thy lifetime when you received with thy goods and likewise Lazarus evil things?
But now he is comforted and thou art tormented.
So when Abraham is telling the rich man, remember when Lazarus was at your gates begging?
He didn't have nothing to eat or anything like that.
He's laying there in pain and everything.
He didn't do nothing.
He didn't lift a finger.
He didn't give him a crumb to help him.
And you laughed at him, you mocked him.
And you live in the life of luxury, right?
And this guy lived like he lived in the dirt.
But now, you're the one living in torment now, and this guy is comforted now, and he's in paradise.
And he said, and Abraham says, and besides all this, between us and you, check this out, very important.
Between us and you, because this gives information of paradise, show.
Abraham's bosom.
Hell in paradise, right?
So, and besides all this, he says, between us and you, there is a great gulf fixed.
A pit.
A bottomless pit between them two.
Where hell is in... If you can picture it, in your mind right now.
You're in paradise, right?
You're looking across a void.
There's a giant pit.
Like a bottomless pit.
A cliff.
And across the way...
There's another cliff, but this one is people torching.
There is flames everywhere.
where it's horrible.
And again, Abraham said, besides all this, between us and you, there's a great gulf fixed so that they which wouldn't pass from hence to you cannot.
Neither can they pass to us that would come from thence.
So what he's saying is like, you people over there, you can't come here.
You can't come over to the side.
Oh, because there's a giant, you know, void between us.
And we here can't go there.
So, we're just saying, I want to give you some understanding, guys.
So, people think, um...
They don't understand how hell works, alright?
I'm gonna lay this down, alright?
So, this is why Jesus talked in parables, so people could not misunderstand.
This is how this works.
So, when the wicked die, and the righteous die, right?
They don't sleep and not, you know what I mean?
Like, they don't wake up some day, or just like in heaven, whatever the case, right?
Now, when they die, your soul goes to this place.
Either on the side of paradise, or on the side of hell.
Now I want to let you know, this place Sholem, that the whole place is called Sholem.
Abraham's bosom, right?
It's a temporary place.
And no, it's not purgatory.
Don't ever mix that with purgatory.
Purgatory is a pagan thing.
It's not even biblical.
Alright, so you go to these places until judgment.
So basically, the dead right now, the dead, the righteous, the dead righteous people are in paradise right now.
The dead wicked are in hell right now.
Literally.
And none of them can hear or see or have any knowledge of what's going on here in the world right now.
None.
You can't talk to your dead relatives, that's not how it works.
They can't pray for you, you can't pray for them at this point.
It's useless, you know what I mean?
Plain and simple.
The Bible makes this stuff very clear.
So basically, what goes on here?
That's what explains it, right?
Hell... Okay, the unrighteous, the wicked, they die, right?
They go to hell.
Now, after the resurrection and, you know, the righteous go to paradise, when Jesus returns, the resurrection, right?
When he says the dead will rise first, then the rest live and the righteous will catch up with them in the sky, right?
So the dead rise out of the grave first.
They're swooped up from paradise and into Jesus in the sky.
Then we left and we're on the earth, right?
We catch up with them right after that.
We transfigure into the spirit.
Now, the unrighteous, the wicked, right?
The Bible makes it clear how this happens, right?
And yet, this is literally under the earth.
And it's not figuratively, it's literally.
And that's the problem.
Most churches say they don't take this literally.
They take these things figuratively.
That's why they can't understand.
So, the Bible says that they're going to be washed up out of hell, literally.
And they're going to be washed up into the oceans of the earth.
So hell is literally gonna cough up all the unrighteous, all the wicked people.
And they're gonna be caught up in the ocean, and that's gonna be for judgment.
Every person's gonna be judged.
The unrighteous, right?
And when they find their names not written in the book of life, guess where they go?
They don't go back to hell again.
They go to the lake of fire.
Now, what's the difference between hell and the lake of fire?
Because hell itself, it says after this, right?
God takes hell So now you say, well, where's the dead righteous and the dead wicked go?
Well, the dead wicked, they go into the lake of fire.
Picture this, right?
You get arrested, right?
And you say you were drinking and driving, God forbid.
You know, you hurt somebody or worse, right?
So, you know you're going away.
You know this, okay?
So, when you get locked up, right?
The police lock you up, they take you to a holding cell.
That little jail they have in the police department or a little county jail, right?
And then you wait, you stay there to probably a day or two over the weekend until you see the judge.
When the judge says, all right, yeah, you're guilty.
You're convicted, and guess where you go from there?
You go to the big house, the prison.
There's a big difference between jail and prison.
Jail is a little thing they hold you for a while, until you get sentenced.
And when you go to the big house, this is the state penitentiary.
Level 4 prison yards, whole nine yards, right?
That's the big house.
That's the lake of fire.
Like, prison makes jail look like a walking park.
The lake of fire makes hell look like a walk in the park.
Now, if you get the drift, right?
So, that's what's going on here.
And God creates a new heaven and a new earth.
And all those former things have passed away.
And God establishes a kingdom here on the earth for us to live with him.
So I just want to make that clear because a lot of people don't understand the difference between hell and the lake of fire.
So now knowing that, right?
One more time here.
So now again, the rich man and Lazarus are in, you know, the rich man's in hell and across the way is paradise where the beggar is, right?
Lazarus.
So, again, Abraham reminds him of what you did in your life, the rich man, right?
You did evil things.
And now, Lazarus, the beggar, he's comforted now.
And you're tormented, he's not.
And besides all this, he says, between us and you there's a great gulf fixed at which you can't pass over to him, we can't pass over to you.
Then he said, I pray thee, therefore, Father, for thou wouldst send him into my father's house.
So this is a rich man praying to him.
He said, listen, please send Lazarus into my father's house.
Because he, you know, this rich man died, but his father's still living, and he's got brothers that are still alive, right?
And he goes, for I have five brothers, that he may testify unto them, so at least they don't come into this place of torment.
So, this is a rich man begging, hey, could you please send Lazarus, raise him from the dead, send him to my father's house and preach to my brothers, so they don't come here.
And Abraham said unto him, they have Moses and the prophets, let them hear them.
Because at this time Moses, this is a thousand years after Moses, right?
And the prophets.
The laws are well known.
He said, let them hear them.
And the rich man said, my name, my father.
He said, no, my father, Abraham.
But if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
So he said, if you send somebody from the dead, they'll repent if they see this.
Because he just wants to have his brother saved so they don't come there, right?
But he said unto him, Abraham said to him, If they didn't hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
So he said, even if I did send Lazarus, even if I went down, they're not gonna hear me.
If they refuse to acknowledge Moses and the Prophets, they're not gonna hear me anymore.
So we're just after today, right?
This is the same thing today, guys.
The same situation today.
You got people out there, you know, they mock God.
And they think, well, if God's real, then have him send my mother back from the dead.
Or have them, uh, you know, have one of the angels do something for me, right?
Show me this miracle or something like that, right?
And I'm sure the Father's saying, you know, God's saying the same thing.
It's like, you know, even if I did, I sent you prophets.
I sent you Moses.
I sent you Jesus.
Died from the dead.
Everybody seen him resurrect.
And yet, he still didn't believe.
So you want me to do something for you now?
And this is naysayers out there, right?
That always say, oh, if God's real, tell him, show me something with him.
No.
Even if he did show you something, you're still gonna not believe.
It's called believing by faith.
Even Jesus says this, you know, as we walk through the Matthew, Mark, and Luke here.
And if you missed the Matthew, Mark guide, we've got the whole books in our playlist.
We do chapter by chapter.
But as you can see, a common theme, how many times does Jesus tell even his own disciples, I'm here and you still don't have full faith.
So what are you going to do when I'm gone?
You know, all the time the apostles are like, oh man, we don't have enough food.
We only have two fishes.
How are we going to feed five fishes?
How are we going to feed all these people?
Hey, Jesus says, yeah, you little faith.
But when he fell asleep on the boat, there was a storm out there, right?
And they're all freaking out.
Oh man, we're going to die.
We're going to die when Jesus wakes up.
And Jesus looked at them and just probably shook his head.
You men of little faith.
It's his own apostles, right?
And then he said, what am I gonna, you know, what are you guys gonna do when I'm gone?
I'm with you and you've seen all these things happen and you still have doubt?
They did this to Moses too, when Moses led them from the promised land, right?
They bitch, moan, and complain.
Oh, we don't have this.
We should have stayed in Egypt, right?
We need food.
We need water.
Moses prayed to God and got the food, the water.
They had a cloud to block the sun in the daytime so they wouldn't be scorched.
A pillar of fire at night to keep them warm.
And still, yeah, moan and complain.
Moan and complain.
Moan and complain.
Led them across the Red Sea.
Now the Red Sea should have been done.
Oh man!
He split the Red Sea and they crossed over and the Red Sea crushed all their enemies.
Because they were about to get slaughtered by the Egyptians.
That should have solidified their faith right there.
But nope!
They kept bitching, complaining, and moaning.
Excuse my language guys.
But yeah, that's exactly what they did.
So Moses led them to the mountain to get the commandments.
And they didn't have patience or faith, right?
And what they do, they start to worship Baal.
They built a Baal statue.
A false god.
Out of gold.
And Moses came down and reamed him a new one.
And the people who led that, they end up killing him.
For abomination and idolatry and everything.
But I just showed you all through history, and we've all been guilty of this too.
How many times have we seen God doing miraculous things to us?
And yet we still sit there and, you know, complain and everything else.
We'll lose faith.
This is why, you know, we need to keep the faith, guys.
And this here, this parable about Lazarus and the rich man, this is debate taken literally.
Because this is spiritual warfare, you know, when it comes to this stuff here, hell and paradise.
You know, again, paradise is not to be confused with purgatory.
Purgatory is complete nonsense.
It's not even biblical.
And it's not even close to being the same thing.
So there's so much scripture that backs this up.
Because you got people literally out there who say, well God would never send humans to hell or the lake of fire.
He's not bad like that.
He's a righteous God and he'll just let them sleep forever.
He's literally put churches out there teaching this garbage.
Now, and you think he takes pleasure in doing it?
No.
He says he weeps for every soul that he has to put in hell.
Then eventually the lake of fire.
All he's asking is to give you the power of free will.
So all he's asking is to love him, and trust him, and have faith in him, and do his son.
And do your best to walk his way.
Walk that straight and narrow path.
Keep the commandments of God in the faith of Jesus Christ.
And, hang on guys, let me get to that.
I do not want to show you this because I know there's a lot of people up there.
A lot of people up there who still buy into the dispensational stuff.
Ah, the Ten Commandments and the Longer Vow and all that.
So, you go to Revelation 14, 12, right?
And this is Jesus telling John on Isle of Patmos about the end times people, right?
And they look, where you at?
Talk about people who took the mouth of the beast, right?
Worship the beast and all that, right?
They'll drink the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out with mixture into a cup of indignation and shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
And by the way, his two great commandments are the coat hangers of the Ten Commandments.
The Ten Commandments hang on those two great commandments.
So either way, you can't get out of it.
into his name.
Now, this is important, right?
Now, again, the church is out there.
Oh, the Ten Commandments are no longer valid, right?
Yeah.
And by the way, his two great commandments are the coat hangers of the Ten Commandments.
The Ten Commandments hang on those two great commandments.
So either way, you can't get out of it.
So Revelation 14, 12, he tells John, here's the patience of the saints.
Who are the saints?
In this context, the saints are the believers, the remnant, the followers of Jesus Christ.
That's us.
And no, you don't have to be granted a saint by the Catholic Church.
The Catholic Church has no authority to grant anybody a saint.
Nor any religion.
I'm not picking on only them.
But no religion has the authority to make or declare anybody a saint.
Saints, in this context, are the believers.
The remnant, us.
Now again, Jesus tells John, here's the patience of the saints, here are they that keep the commandments of God, specifying the commandments of God.
That's the Ten Commandments.
In the faith of Jesus.
As you'll see over and over again throughout this whole study, how many, and I'm going to point out every time, how many times Jesus pointed out the Ten Commandments.
And taught men to do so.
He says, those who keep the commandments and teach men to do so will be called great in the kingdom of God.
That's the Matthew.
And those who don't keep the commandments and teach men not to, which is these modern day churches, they're going to be called least in the kingdom of God.
And he says again, not one tittle drop from the world will be changed.
Until heaven and earth pass away.
Heaven and earth hasn't passed away yet.
And all be fulfilled, and it's not fulfilled until then.
Yeah, Jesus fulfilled the prophecy, but he didn't fulfill that portion.
That's what he's talking about.
People say, well, Jesus fulfilled everything, so the commandments are gone.
No, that's not, you're taking it out of context.
Jesus said, until heaven and earth pass away.
And heaven and earth are gonna pass away and God's gonna make a new heaven and a new earth.
Until then, yeah, you still gotta follow the commandments.
Because Jesus, here's Jesus, again, Revelation 14, 12.
10, I'm sorry, 14, 10.
14, 12, I'm sorry, yeah.
I'm sorry, guys, it's a long day.
But yeah, 14, 12, he says, Us saints need to have patience, and we need to keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Go hand in hand.
You know what's kind of weird, right?
Check this out, right?
Modern day Judaism, right?
They'll tell you to keep the commandments of God, right?
Of course they won't tell you to have faith in Jesus, because they don't believe in his Messiah.
Now, modern day Christianity, which has been dumbed down because of dispensationalism, they'll tell you to keep the faith of Jesus, right?
But notice how they say, oh, don't worry about the commandments, they're no longer valid.
Really?
So why is the two biggest religions in the world telling you, oh, keep the commandments of God, but don't worry, Jesus is not the Messiah?
Well, you know, keep the faith of Jesus, right?
He's the Messiah, but don't worry about the commandments of God.
Why are they doing that?
Two of the biggest faiths in the world, Judaism and Christianity. - Okay.
And you know, Christianity, hundreds of years ago, they kept both commandments of God.
They were taught in school in the churches here in America.
The Ten Commandments were erected at every state's monument.
It wasn't until about 1900s when this idiocracy called dispensationalism infected America and the churches.
So, check that out one more time, right?
Notice Judaism.
They're strict on the Ten Commandments.
We all know that, right?
Which is good.
And today's Christianity is strict on the faith of Jesus Christ as the Messiah, right?
Which is good.
Now, Judaism doesn't believe Jesus is the Messiah.
And today's Christian churches don't believe the Ten Commandments are still valid.
There's a problem here.
There's a divide, right?
Well, guess what?
This is why you don't follow religion.
Judaism, Islam, Hindu, today's watered down, the 40,000 different denominations of Christianity.
You don't follow any of that.
Because you got one sect telling you to do this only, and one sect to tell you to do this only, right?
When the Bible says you keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ.
Both.
So the world's telling you to do one or the other, right?
And this goes on, right?
This is right where we're at today.
What did Jesus say in this chapter today?
You can't serve mammon and God.
You can't serve two masters.
Your masters are telling you guys today, right?
You know, according to your religion, do this or this.
Thank you.
They're not telling you to do both.
One or the other, right?
That's not how it works.
But you know how the Bible says to do both?
Yeah, so let's do this.
Oh yeah, so should we follow Judaism?
Should we follow today's Christianity?
How about you dump them both?
Tell them both to go pound sand.
Because neither one of them represent God.
You follow the Bible, not religion.
Religion is pollution.
So, if you can learn by the lesson today, you can't serve mammon and God at the same time.
And in this case, you need to follow both the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
The Ten Commandments and Jesus go hand in hand.
Jesus is the Word made flesh.
He is the Lord of the Sabbath.
And the Ten Commandments include the Sabbath on the 12th commandment.
So, no matter which way you get out of it, you're not dismissing the commandments.
And people say, oh yeah, no, the two great commandments replaced them.
No, they didn't.
Because why would Jesus say, keep the commandments of God?
He would say, keep my two great commandments.
No, he says, keep the commandments of God in the faith of Him.
Jesus and the apostles all kept the commandments.
They kept the Sabbath and preached to do so.
So it doesn't matter what church leaders did 300 years after or whatever the case, it doesn't matter about that.
Who cares what they've done?
All you should care about, okay?
And I don't care even the early church fathers, regardless of what they did.
It doesn't matter.
All you should care about is what Jesus and the apostles did.
We're supposed to emulate Jesus.
What Jesus did and taught is what we should do and teach.
And no fathers or anything like that has no authority to change any of that.
This saves all the confusion.
Because people say, well, should I study this one and that one?
It's like, yeah.
It's like a lot of them did good things like their other church fathers.
Yeah, a lot of them kept the commandments as well.
But later on they started manipulating things and all that stuff from different religions and all that.
Like today, you know.
That's why I said, just save it all.
You don't even have to study any of these people.
All you have to do is follow Jesus Christ and you can't go wrong.
Emulate Messiah.
Follow Jesus Yeshua Messiah and you can't go wrong.
Teach what He taught and do what He did.
Quite and simple.
So guys, thank you so much for tuning in to this awesome chapter 16 of Luke.
So trust the plan, the only plan, and that's the Bible.
And don't take my word or anybody else's word for this.
Especially your religion.
Don't read the Bible with a religious lens.
Read the Bible through the power of the Holy Spirit, like we just did today.
The Holy Spirit is the divine teacher, the only teacher you should be listening to.
That being said guys, check my show out truthradioshow.com.
It's my spiritual warfare shows, my new shows, and also these biblical studies shows, which I'm so excited doing.
I never thought I'd be doing something like this because I don't want to mislead anybody or mess it up.
Just follow the Holy Spirit and you can't go wrong by doing that.
